Two F-15 warplanes of the US-led coalition accidentally struck a unit of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which was involved in the SDF advance on ISIS in the Euphrates Valley, the Russian news agency Sputnik reported on October 17. The strike reportedly killed 6 SDF members and inured 15 others. ISIS terrorists also attacked SDF positions following the incident, according to the report.
Despite initial claims by the SDF leadership that the terrorists in the area will soon be defeated there are no signs that the operation will be finished in the near future. The Russian side even claims that the US-led coalition is using the Hajin pocket to justify its illegal presence in the country. So, nobody is hurrying to defeat the terrorists.
The Trump administration is preparing to impose sanctions on Russian and Iranian companies involved in the reconstruction of Syria, NBC News reported on October 16 citing defense officials.
According to the report, these sanctions will be a part of further political, diplomatic and economic pressure to force Iran out of Syria and deal with the growing Russian influence.
The NBC News report also claimed that right now the US military is not seeking an open confrontation with Iranian forces in the war-torn country. Nonetheless, it’s obvious that Israel, a key US ally in the region and another support of the large-scale anti-Iranian strategy, will not abandon its attempts to strike alleged Iranian and Iran-linked targets in the war-torn country even despite the recent delivery of Russian-made S-300 air defense systems to the Syrian military.
According to multiple reports circulating in Israeli media, Israel and the US have sent a secret military delegation to Ukraine to train against and test Russian-made S-300 missile defense systems. According to reports, servicemen of the Ukrainian military instructed their US and Israeli counterparts on the capabilities of the air defense system as well as allowed US and Israeli specialists to test it in various possible scenarios.
According to reports, F-15 warplanes have trained against the S-300 in the framework of the Clear Sky 2018 international exercise which includes Israeli and US pilots. It wasn’t immediately clear if the Israeli pilots were flying or merely observing from the ground. However, on October 16, a US pilot and his Ukrainian counterpart died in the crash of a Ukrainian Su-27 warplane.
Imposing sanctions so you can guarantee that the country that you spend billions annihilating doesnt rise from the ashes
This is a revolting new low even for the zionist states of america
Agreed. Awfully enough, right here in the good old USA we have entire regions that will never truly recover from the fires, floods, and hurricanes ( a fair amount of this is weather warfare) that have destroyed them. I can see where all of this has arrived for people here, as well as ‘over there’……..it is called the Freight Train from Hell has pulled into the station, and carefully observe Who and What is getting off. The following piece came out years ago, but is still definitely worth a read : The Invisible Third World War by Walter Bowart ; it is available on-line.
Hmmm, is that how an American National Guardsman died last week? They say it was a crash (unexplained), but I wonder if the old versions of the Soviet S-300’s that the Ukrainians have might have won one of those drills?
exactly.
They would nvver ever reveal that an exercise of US Israhell planes came under fire from a russian made S.300 of the last century batch.
The idea that Israel can do anything against mighty Russian arms and army is ridiculous !
Russian army is the strongest in the whole, wide world.
USA + NATO did not dare to attack Russia, cause Russia has secret weapons, arms unknown to the public.
For now, enemy of Russia will have to satisfy themselves with provoking of “color revolutions” around Russia and weakening Russia position by propaganda, infiltration and spying.
Don’t you think the USA has secret weapons? Remember those rod’s from god sent down on China?
Of course they do. Every military power has them. However, the fact is : USA does not dare to attack Russia.
Seems that Russians are one step ahead.
I missed it.
Do you mean the US actually dropped tungsten rods on China?
Please point me to the story.

The israeloamericans attack by air, then the terrorists follow up on the ground. Familiar MO, eh? I posted an article earlier about this attack, doubtful it was by mistake, but rather by design.
At first I found those reports confusing. For American aircraft to strike the SAA is understandable – after all, they are ISIS’ air force.
But why strike the SDF, which is supposedly on the American side? Ah-ha, a little thought reveals wheels within wheels. The war against ISIS is always fake, of course. Washington pretends to fight ISIS as an excuse to let it squat heavily anywhere it wants.
The SDF are just as dispensable as ISIS, and a lot less valuable in the short term. So the Yanks kill a few of them to ease any pressure they may have exerted on ISIS. When I heard that the SDF was attacking ISIS I naively thought, “At last some action!” But then day after day, the reports said that nothing much had happened. It won’t be surprising if that “campaign” is still stalled in six months.

I think that the situation is pretty clear:
The Russians delivered one of the most advanced versions of the S-300 (20-30 years of additional upgrades in comparisons to Ukraine or Greek S-300, which date back from the 80s, and sharing many components with S-400). It is not an export version, it is very new – something like 3-4 years since introduced into the Russian army, so I very much doubt that the Syrians will be let any closer to it than to secure the perimeter :) Not the least because it will have full Russian friend-or-foe ID system, full sets of radars, integration with Electronic Warfare systems etc. So, IMO the Russians will man them now and in the future. But the systems will be Syrian :) (Another thing suggesting this is that the Russians did not make any demands for payment and “delivered it to the SAA” for free).
At the same time nobody can say that there are no Syrians at the red-button as this is military secret. While at the same time everybody knows that there are Russians everywhere around those systems. The Syrians may man the Launch Vehicles but the men at the command post will be Russians. (i.e. a new reincarnation of the famous Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese fighter-pilot Li-Si-Tzin, or Lisitzin as was his Russian name if you don’t get the joke, who downed a legendary ginormous amount of enemy planes, only this time he will be Li-Al-Si-Tzin-Al-Rusi and behind the button of an anti-aircraft battery :D).
At the same time, if (or more probably when) the time comes, it will be the Syrians who will shoot down any intruder within or beyond Syria’s borders from the POV of international law.
So what we have here – Russia controlling the systems, Russian officers everywhere, nobody can attack any part of the system as this will have major consequences. At the same time, a big incentive to shoot anybody down who plays dirty and doing it from a clear standing and rightfully under international law.
So, the heroic and tragic death of the IL-20 crew did not go unanswered and raised the stakes immensely for anyone trying anything foolish.
PS. I really can’t imagine how Israel can continue to strike within Syria after that incident. Ok, they inform the Russians they are going to strike in 60-30-5-1 minutes in advance. … And the Russians say “No, we don’t allow it, there is 1% chance of harming a Russian there, so no-go”. What then? The Russians know the IAF will attack, they get everyone ready and if somebody goes down, it is the Syrians who shot it down. And what if the Israelis don’t warn in advance??? I don’t know if that is an option since the Ilyushin downing.
PS2. What is really clever about the Russian systems is the integration of a large number of mutually supporting (and replaceable if any part is destroyed) of elements in their systems. You have 4 or 5 kinds of radars for detecting any type of aircraft, stealth or not, and they have a hefty 250-400 km of eyesight. Add to this the ECM modules mounted on trucks, launch vehicles etc. Each vehicle (radar, ECM, launcher, command post) has 4 or 5 prepared positions 300-400 metres or more away from each other. Each vehicle can in random or organized fashion “pack up” in five minutes (Five minutes, maan!) and move to another of its positions. Add to this the “maskirovka” stuff – visual decoys, radio-frequency-emitting decoys, heat decoys, etc., all designed to look like the real thing!
So you send your recon planes, which may be very good, but what they capture is a really limited and time-specific picture of the deployment of the individual components (which is essential if you want to destroy them). In 5 minutes they are in a new position half a kilometer away and your missile will hit empty ground.
Given that S-300 is the “long-arm” of the air-defense system in place (designed to clear the outer perimeter 250-300 km away from any eavesdroppers, AWACSs etc., but having 3-4 type of shorter range, but very powerful missiles as well). And protected by Panzir, Tor etc. which were SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to intercept and destroy PGMs, cruise missiles and anti-radar missiles (mind you – they were designed from the get-go in the 80s for this purpose mainly and underwent multiple upgrades since then). And judging from the US air strikes on Syria, they lived up to the task.
So, it will be very, very hard if you want to go inside this “bubble” and do whatever you want.

You apparently didn’t want to say that the targeting system of the American fighter was jammed
Talking of S-300s, Canthama has this rather interesting bit of internet rumor:
” News circulating that the numbers of S-300 that arrived in Syria have been underestimated, recent figures place the S300 launchers closer to 50 mobile units with about the same nbrs of mobile radars, replenishment equipments and mid to high hundreds different missiles. This info clearly points to a formidable air defense system, that once completely integrated will command the Syrian skies and will be able to impose the control of the country’s airspace at given time (this is key if diplomatic efforts do not succeed to push NATO out of Syria).”
So, somebody hopes to “…. Challenge S-300 In Syria….”. really? Then I have a nice link and song for them:

Síria agora faz parte do espaço aéreo Russo.

Radar systems are more than enough to put any Israeli aircraft on the ground.
Afraid, believe!
60 Merkava tanks are positioned, this is getting hot in and around the Gaza Strip.
Kadirov is back, I like it when he appears in the western media.
Something serious is about to happen.

Breaking: Israeli warplanes stalk Lebanese-Syrian border
https://mobile.almasdarnews.com/article/breaking-israeli-warplanes-stalk-lebanese-syrian-border/
“The Syrian military has been placed on high alert this evening after Israeli warplanes were spotted flying incredibly close to the Syrian-Lebanese border.
According to reports, the Israeli warplanes made their way from Lebanon’s Nabatieh Governorate to the Beqa’a Valley, where they flew close to the northwestern part of the Rif Dimashq Governorate of Syria.
Lebanon’s National News Agency has also reported a heavy Israeli air presence over the Nabatieh Governorate.
The Israeli warplanes have not crossed over into Syrian territory; however, this is believed to be their closest approach to Syria since Damascus received the S-300 Air Defense System from the Russian Federation.
In the past, the Israeli Air Force has used this route from Lebanon to bomb western Syria; however, they also fly over this area to monitor the border movements.”

UK Spy Plane Reportedly Spotted Near Syrian Border Amid S-300 Delivery
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201810191069040527-uk-spy-plane-syria-s-300/
“A Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft of the UK’s Royal Air Force has conducted a flight over the territories of Israel and Jordan, near the Syrian border, several flight tracking services reported. An aircraft with the number ZZ666 took off from Souda Bay Air Base on Crete, flew along the southern border of the Arab Republic and then returned to the air base via the same path.
This is the second time this week that the RAF has flown aircraft near the Syrian border. The previous time, RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance and Sentinel R.1 ground surveillance planes flew a similar path on October 16. The RC-135W Rivet Joint is capable of detecting emissions produced by radars and thus discovering the locations of enemy air defenses.”
Russia supplied Syria with most ‘modernized’ S-300 system – report
https://mobile.almasdarnews.com/article/russia-supplied-syria-with-most-modernized-s-300-system-report/
“The three battalion sets of S-300PM-2 air defense missile handed over to Syria by Russia are more advanced compared to their conventional counterparts, the newspaper Izvestiya wrote, citing Defense Ministry sources in Moscow.
The S-300PM-2 system is equipped with a more advanced radar station, an improved target illumination and guidance station (firing radar) and a mobile command post.
Launchers have also been upgraded enabling the use of more advanced, powerful and long-range missiles, compared to the “classic” S-300.
Unlike conventional S-300s, the modernized air defense system can fire medium-range tactical ballistic missiles, while retaining its ability to destroy aerial targets up to 250 kilometers (155 miles) away.
The S-300PM-2 also boasts improved anti-jamming capability allowing it to operate in conditions of electronic warfare.
Contrary to media reports, the S-300PM-2 currently deployed in Syria will not be operated by Iranians because the only specialists who can operate this system are in Russia, the source told the newspaper.
In early October, Russia donated to Syria three battalion sets of S-300 missile systems of eight launchers each of which had been repaired in Russia where they had been used before being replaced by the more advanced S-400 system.
The Russian Defense Ministry then said that it would take three months to train Syrian specialists to operate the missile system.
The S-300PM-2 system entered service with the Russian army in the 2010s.
In December 2015, the first regiment S-300PM-2 took over combat duty to protect the airspace of the country’s central industrial region.
The regiment was later re-equipped with the most modern domestic anti-aircraft system, the S-400 Triumph, and, according to the source, some of the S-300PM-2s were sent to Syria.
Russian specialists re-equipping S-300 systems delivered to Syria for local operation
http://tass.com/defense/1026862
“In October, three battalions of S-300PM systems and their ammunition load were delivered to Syria. Later, a regimental command post was brought to the country. All the hardware makes part of the S-300PM equipment set, except for the reconnaissance and air target detection radar of the regiment’s command post, which is part of the S-300PM-2,” the source said.
“Technical specialists of Russian defense enterprises who arrived after that started work to re-equip S-300PM into S-300-PMU-2 systems,” the source said.
This work largely relates to “replacing Russian codes and letter frequencies of the ground interrogator and the letter frequencies of the radar for Syrian versions,” the source explained.
“The Russian specialists will complete their work in late October, after which they will return home,” the source said.”
the Russians have not put an s-300 system that is open to challenge…..unless they desire to look inept.
this report actually tells nothing since it is to be expected that all avenues would be pursued..regarding challenge of the system.
what as always is most important is what is not publicly known…IE…..that Russia would actually put in its most advanced system or something close to it….otherwise there is no point to it.
White Helmets Members, Experts Killed in Huge Blast at Chemical Workshop in Northwestern Syria
https://en.muraselon.com/2018/10/white-helmets-blast-chemical-syria/
“A sum of 11 members of the pro-militants White Helmets Organization and non-Syrians experts were killed after a huge explosion at the terrorists’ chemical workshop in Idlib province near the border with Turkey, a Russian media outlet reported on Saturday.
The Arabic-language website of Russia’s state news agency, Sputnik, quoted well-informed sources as disclosing that a huge blast broke out at a workshop of the terrorists used for making chemicals in the small town of Tarmanin in Northern Idlib near the border with Turkey.
It further said that the workshop included a large volume of chemical, explosive materials and liquid chlorine barrels, adding that nine British, Chechen and Turkish experts and 2 members of the White Helmets were killed in the blast.”
Well, that is one way to stop a planned cw falseflag. :-D

Yeah. Accidentally. Sure.
Probability and statistics. When every ‘accident’ is beneficial to those who commit it, it is no accident.
