The Big News of the day is that Shoigu took the brakes off and told his commanders in the field that there is a need for speed and bigger and intensified action in the Ukraine. The timing is epic! On July 17, 1942, the Battle of Stalingrad began, one of the largest engagements in history and the most important stage of the Great Patriotic War. More than 3 mln soldiers and officers clashed in mortal combat, the battle was the turning point in World War II, where the strategic initiative passed to the Red Army.

The Khazarian/Iluminati corrupted and conquered USA. Russian/China are fighting so they will not be corrupted/conquered and USA might be finally liberated
The USA was conquered by American elites at its inception. The elites were heavily involved in the slave trade and slave agriculture that the British threatened to curtail. They were also heavily involved in real estate and had a restive population seeking land after they had divested the people of their land; the British effectively stopped movement west towards Indian lands. Thus, the American Revolution.
There has never been a need for any outside force to influence the American elites as they developed their hunger to conquer and oppress to the ‘now’ when their globalist, neocon project seeks to dominate the whole world.
But, yes. Russia, China, and much of the non-West, seeks to stop them.
Basically that is correct. But the British only wanted to curtail the slave trade and slavery in general after the American Revolution lost them the major region to expand it into. And they lost the US in 1783 while only abolishing slavery 4 decads later. It’s true that in Britain there was a strong church led anti-slavery movement. But the government only got really behind it when it was clear slavery had peaked in the territories they still possessed.
The British saw that slavery had ceased being economical for them. Unlike in the US where the slaves were at most 40% of the population of a state (less in most, and much less in many). In the British remaining slave colonies the slave population was 80-90% of the population (the Cape Colony was an exception). And it was very expense and dangerous for Britain to garrison and control those areas. By freeing the slaves, the then ex-slaves only stopped being owned slaves, they then became wage-slaves. So little changed on the ground except the British were able to reduce the danger of slave rebellions while being able to claim a “holier than thou” attitude towards remaining slave holding states. But it started a process that saw most slave states ending slavery within the next 50 years.
Had Britain won the war against the American colonists and retained those vast slave holding lands. There is an extremely good possibility slavery would have continued in the British Empire for several more decades than it did. Of course it is possible that it would have not. And the British would have still ended it in the 1830’s. But with their track record of caring about profits, that’s an open question. Slavery only ended in Brazil in the 1880’s (and in the Spanish colonies as well),so I could see the same with the British American colonies.
Your dates are a bit off. Slavery was abolished in British Empire 1806
Both slightly incorrect, you still had the clearances, in Scotland and Ireland, well into the 19th century. Either starve or be bonded to work for decades in English owned plantations. My own father in law left home at nine to earn his keep, such was the poverty in Scotland in the 30s.
We will forget those executed in Ireland and Scotland guilty of wanting freedom. Ignore those six million murdered Irish people starved to death so the English gentry could count some more gold coins. There was no famine!
Can you remember that last Irishman who was brutally hung drawn and quartered, for wanting his countrys freedom, in the middle of the 18th century?
Ooh, let us not forget Churchill, and his South African concentration camps for the women and children starved to death because he Churchill was unable to fight Boers.
Ooh, let’s not forget when we Nations of these islands were all allowed to vote! In the year of our lord 1948.
The last man held in Edinburgh castle charged with treason against the England crown, was the late50s early sixties, for leading a rents strike to stop the people in Skye from starving.
Aye…. a leopard doesn’t change its spots.
Today’s Slavery ….. is the result of English voting patterns, TODAY!
Thanks for that. Let’s hear a word for the Greeks massacred and herded into camps by Churchkill immediately postwar too on his anti commie crusade. They and the Americans used the fascist colonels installed by the Nazis in their conquest of the Balkans pre-Barbarossa to rule Greece with typical tender loving care.
Well said, Highlander. Let’s not forget, though, that amongst the earliest victims of English imperialism were the common English themselves; since 1066, you can make the case; followed by the peoples of Cymry, Eire and Alba. Pretty well completed for the whole archipelago of Britain and Eire, after Culloden.
The main perpetrators of all this, though – and all the much wider following villainies of the English empire: the worldwide acts of armed robbery and enslavement committed under ‘the butcher’s apron’; the union flag – were not so much the common English, who served only as expendable cannon-fodder, but their overlords: the English-raj class; still self-perpetuating themselves and their racketeering today, mainly through the City of London, behind our ludicrous, paper-thin pretence of a democracy.
The rajistas are busy right now, in fact, organising their next performing chihuahua to lead their political wing, the Tory party, after their dismissal of their ultimately-unsatisfactory oaf Johnson; the next pocket-pol to be their top dog in Paedominster – and to be PM at the same time. Without any voting input from we plebs, of course. Democracy? Joke!
Catherine Austin Fitts has this idea that slavery has been the absolute most profitable racket for overlord-minded gangsters; more even than oil, arms, pharmashite or illicit drugs. And she reckons it still is. Presumably there’s a sweet spot where the percentage of slaves in a society is high enough to be hugely profitable, but not so high that policing them becomes unsustainably costly.
Your are mistaking the abolishment of the “slave trade”,which only meant new slaves couldn’t be brought in to a colony and sold. And the abolishment of “slavery” itself. The holding and working of slaves continued in the British slave colonies until It received legal Royal Assent to end it on August 28, 1833, and took legal effect throughout the Empire on August 1, 1834.
Abolished but it did not end
On August 1, 1834, Britain passed the Slavery Abolition Act, outlawing the owning, buying, and selling of humans as property throughout its colonies around the world. At the beginning of the century, Britain abolished the slave TRADE, following the example of the Canadian colonies.
Slavery remained well into the 20th century. Released slaves had nowhere to go, so they remained on the land of their former slave masters. In the UK, every slave owner was compensated for the loss of their slaves. Millions of dollars were paid to slave owners in UK who lost their property (slaves) due to emancipation.
Actual slavery did exist into the 20th Century, just not in Britain. Wage slavery is another matter. And I agree it’s a form of slavery, though not a term most people would accept as true. The 20 million Pounds given out as compensation to slave owners for the losses (would be 1.5 billion Pounds today),was split among slave owners in the Caribbean slave colonies, and absentee slave owners inside Britain. The slave owners in British North America (Canada) got nothing. And those in South Africa I believe didn’t get anything,or at least very little. That was a big issue there. And one of the many issues that led to the Great Trek away from the Cape.
There is actual slavery in the world even today. But wage slavery is far more lucrative, you don’t have to house, clothe and feed people to exploit their labor.
An investigation done in the UK in the ’90s IIRW, estimated around 150,000 modern slaves in households, sweatshops and prostitution on this Northsea island…
“By freeing the slaves, the then ex-slaves only stopped being owned slaves, they then became wage-slaves.”
Very well said. Nothing is more profitable than giving a man the illusion of being his own master.
Nice to see someone knows the history of America the Babylon. Concerning their piece of toilet paper, the constitution, hologram of liberty.
http://javelinpress.com/hologram_of_liberty.html
At the time of American independence, neither the States nor the UK were abolishing slavery. The comment was that Britain threatened to. But so did the independent Americans. The strong movement to abolish slavery in the new nation failed by only the narrowest of margins. In those years, no one really justified slavery morally, that came later. All essentially admitted it was deplorable, but like cigarettes it turned out to be hard to quit.
Abolishing slavery was a pure capitalistic profit analysis. If you had slaves they would f..k and make children and families you should have to feed and house their entire life.
Further the slave owners had the cost of transport, trade and bargaining and clothes, tools and health care plus the cost of burying them.
Slaves were simply much more extensive than livestock.
If you instead made them believe they were “free” you would only pay for their actual work, and leave all the hard obligations and pay to the “free” slave and his “free community”.
And you believed in it…………………………………LOL.
Lol oh yes poor Americans only victims not accomplices…
Sounds like Truthsayer is saying that his government is perfect and that the citizens have total control over their leaders. The truth is…the vast majority of leaders of almost every country are corrupt and do what they want, with no citizen or citizen group being able to do anything except complain. Remember the woman in Canada who was protesting and then found herself being trampled under the feet of horse-riding police officers?
Even if the weapons and supplies stayed in Ukraine those same taxpayers you noted are being ripped off.

I think it was about 2 weeks back that the Russian field commanders requested permission to speed up operations. And here we are.
Do you have any source for that ?
If it’s true, I missed it. It would be surprising for any communications between Russian officers and their superiors to be made public. But it’s interesting, because the Russian military seem to have not taken advantage of the opportunity when the UAF withdrew from the last cauldron. An army in chaotic retreat is most vulnerable, so a missed opportunity has an explanation. Probably that VVP and Shoigu want to slow-roast the EU, something I only partially understand.
In the same way Hitler hesitated when the English had their back to the sea: a gesture toward a peaceful resolution that the West will have no part of
Not hesitated.. but had said to his Generals we are not in the killing business.. why so?
Hitler spent several months in Porton Down, with Brit Intel in the eartly 30s, he had 2 Brit Intel minders through the war, Baron William de Ropp, amd Putzi Hanfsteingl. Hitler was financed by London bankers through Warburg Bank US, fuelled by Standard Oil US to extend the war, his tank engines by Ford US, and his propoganda movies were made by Fox Movietone News. Calculators by IBM.General Electric raised capital on Wall Street to fund production of the V-2 rocket because the Nazis could not afford the program. The funding was given to Osram to build a light factory in Brazil but was diverted through Lisbon and Switzerland to AEG which was the GEC subsidiary in Germany who bought the production rights for the V-2. Prescott Bush was involved in this.
Not forgetting other helpers.. Swedish SKF supplying some 85% of all bearings for Adolf’s vehicles, Portugal sending vanadium for guns. Then we had Hitler allow 300K Brits to go home safely after his Generals cornered them at Dunkirk. Don’t knock him too much, he was on of ours in the WW2 ‘game’.
Perhaps the battle of St Vallary which is still, subject to a D notice today, by successive English governments, you might not of realised, the Highland divisions were wiped out almost to a man. Hitler made the mistake of thinking these highlanders were the main army, while they got the English soldiers off the beaches in Dunkirk!
Those Scottish soldiers of the kings own Scottish borderers, who managed to get to Dunkirk, but as they tried to get on one of the boats to escape, they had there fingers broken by English officers and gentlemen of the BEF. Why, it was an officers only boat!
Aye English class, abouve any semblance of morality or honour, and it’s never changed.
I remember it too. I think it was Kadyrov who requested it.
17 of July is also the date of the assassination of Tsar Nicholas II.
Many know the amazing historical fact that on May 18, 1895, after the coronation of Nicholas II, about one and a half million people gathered at Khodynka Field to gaze at the “beloved” Father Tsar. More than a thousand people died in the ensuing scramble for free gingerbread.
Nicholas II is not called “the Bloody” by chance. On May 7, 1901, he had the workers of Obukhov shot. In November 1902 he let shoot again, this time at the Rostov workers. And on March 11, 1903 at the workers of the Slatouster arms factory, sixty people were killed and about 200 wounded.
On January 9, 1905, near the St. Petersburg Winter Palace, Tsar Nicholas II’s troops shot and dismembered over a thousand demonstrators who were peacefully marching with a petition to the tsar. The event went down in history as “Bloody Sunday”.
Putin has his merits, especially after the Yeltsin era and the current action in Ukraine I definitely support, however I never share his “veneration” for the Russian tsars and defamation of the Bolsheviks.
here a link about historical facts of these “oh so great” tsars

Regurgitating Bolshevik lies doesn’t work anymore
Gooooooooood one Exile…!!!!
Defending Anna
Some people like me -and probably “Anna”- are not convinced that the USSR was an entirely Anglo-Zionist project. USSR laid the foundations of the industrialization of the modern Russian Federation. Moreover the Bolshevik regime actively supported many National Liberation movements against the western colonialism across the globe.
Is there a place for us in the Saker blog?
I would highly appreciate a few words on this issue from the moderators.
Best regards
The foundation of the industrialization of modern Russia was laid by the Tsars and their ministers like Witte and Stolypin.
The reformations of Stolypin were indeed in the right direction. However everything was interrupted by the Bolshevik revolt (revolution, coup d’etat – whatever) and the following destructive civil war. The massive industrialization happened using brutal force during Stalin’s period.
Facts or not?
If these are proved and verified facts, they are part of History.
If not, they could be propaganda, or just naive fishing in muddy waters like, for exemple in the well known disinformation site called Wikipedia.
Hiding less pleasant aspects of History does not help anybody to understand the destiny of mankind.
So, again: facts or not?
I wouldn’t trust the infos from „Saschas World“ at all – Check and double and what is important: See the last paragraph, which ends with slandering Putin! In whose interest?
Russian Orthodox Christians like/love last Tsar(and not only them)…neocons/liberals/neoliberals/warmongers /bolsheviks/trotskyist not…..what you are Anna ????
Very well remembered, Anna. it’s boring to hear these people talk about the “Holy Czars”. How holy were they!! John Paul II is now also a saint!! How much saint lived in this world!!
The ‘West’ who worked so hard to destroy its own history and civilization and reduce it to the cesspool of depravity in which they sink more and more every day, cannot wrap its collective mind around the fact that Russians can be patriots, love their country, history and culture and are determined to preserve it. But the writing is on the wall, even if they refuse to see it.
Americans were happily riding the wave of calumnies and lies about the Tsar(s), Russia and Russians. Russophobia is ingrained in the American mentality, propagandized by the waves of anti-Russian ‘revolutionaries’ who took refuge in America (starting with Kosciuszko). There were the ‘forty-eighters’, especially Poles, Hungarians and Germans, the ‘Narodniks’, the Jews fleeing ‘pogroms’, who relentlessly agitated against Russia, instilling in the minds of Americans the hatred against ‘Russian tyranny’, ‘autocracy’, ‘imperialism’, ‘illiberalism’, etc.
Is this when the Khazarian Mafia (KM) – Bolsheviks murdered his family and children too?
Anyone see the Ukrainian Antonov cargo plane crash in Greece loaded with weapons and mines? The ammo and weapons kept blowing up after the crash. So Zlenesky and the KM-Ukies are reselling all the weapons and supplies being sent to the Ukraine by NATO, USA and Europe?
American, European, Canadian, Australia, NZ, German and other European taxpayers are being ripped off. This is what WEF-NeoCons-Deep State-Elites do. Rob and steal from their people.
A mysterious group has established quite a “milk-run” of weapons / ammo around Europe, with UA receiving some, but not all of these deliveries..
The origin of the weapons on the crashed UA cargo plane in Greece was Nis Serbia, with a stop-over or final destination as Jordan, although Bangledesh is also mentioned..
Local people at Burgas Bulgaria have been routinely taking photos of British cargo planes loading weapons at the city airport, which the media hasn’t bothered to report, or forced not to..
http://www.flagman.bg
It’s called a legit flight with Serbian manufactured weapons for Bangladesh but this Meridian outfit has so clearly written CIA all over it, I’m surprised nobody mentioned it. A first class airline with nothing but 50 years old Antonov 12 planes…
I searched for Meridian+airline and the first result was a Russian company that flies Gulfstream business jets :-)
It was murder or execution more than assasination
When Krematorsk is liberated and puppy dog Z still refuses to talk, I’d take every oblast attacking Donbas until the attacks stop. I would stop a Odessa, taking everything inbetween.
A poll is circulating on Russian channels on Telegram. The very existence of the poll gives a measure of the current situation of Russia’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine.
《What is Russia really capable of in the conflict with Ukraine, given the experience of 5 months of campaigning?
🔘 Complete victory. Liberation of the entire Ukraine. Zelensky capitulation.
🔘 Liberation of Kyiv and all of central and southeastern Ukraine.
🔘 Liberation of all southeastern regions, including Odessa and Kharkov. No surrender with a truce.
🔘 Positional war that will end with a truce. The maximum is the liberation of Kharkov or Nikolaev.
🔘 Only the release of the LNR and DNR. Conditional truce. Integration of occupied regions into Russia.
🔘 A long, slow rocket artillery war with no visible success on either side, no peace.
🔘 Others》
https://t.me/zhivoff/5443
Far beyond the poll’s options, some dramatic issues must be considered:
– This is a US war against Russia, fought on Ukrainian territory.
– The ultimate US intention is to destroy the Russian state and fragment the country.
– Even with Russia coming to fully take control of Ukraine, the US will continue to use NATO to attack Russia.
– To win the war Russia must defeat the US.
Here is the ominous question: how to defeat the US without resorting to nuclear weapons?
In other words: since this is a war that is bound to escalate, how can this escalation be dosed so as not to drag the world into nuclear Armageddon but rather the collapse of the Imperium?
How could Russia defeat the US short of resorting to nuclear war ? I suspect that the whole of the US army, combined with the whole of NATO forces, could not drive Russia out of Ukraine, provided that Russia took the gloves off.
An important enough NEMP over the continental US of A. Done! Period.
It’s not just Russia.
US has declared war on the whole world. They intend to control the world.
Russia and China are simply the biggest threats to world domination.
And this didn’t just start, it’s been the outlook of the U.S. for a long time.
How to defeat the US ?
By declaring every Russian solder as a “trans woman” and the “cancel” mob will handle the ones in US goverment still willing to fight war.
LOL, I imagine many Russian soldiers would prefer to fight.
Tell the EO priests to pour a liter of “holy oil” over them for protection.

We are not in a nice situation.
US and England have been conquered and monopolized by the worst white racists, bloodthirst crazy anglosaxon elite which since centuries believe that they are called by God to conquer the world and give it civilization. They really believe in that. They believe that the rest of the world is made by barbarians.
That’s the real meaning of democracy vs autocracy propaganda.
The problem is that these anglosaxons touched by God have all information, weapon industry and political parties wether they are left or right, doesn’t matter anymore.
They are turning this conflict into an ideological war, a new crusade.
The weak point is Europe, which is crushed by those anglosaxons because he had a good economic and politic relationship with Russia and China.
Europe has been immediately brought down and conquered by those anglosaxons, who created UE for that reason, to make what they wanted with it.
So in a couple of months EU is gone and is just a puppet of USA and NATO.
I am afraid those wicked crazy psychopaths who are moving all the situation will never step down because they have god on their side and will never accept to lose with Russia. They will prefer to simply destroy the planet before losing to barbarians.
And Europe has no power anymore.
It’s a bad situation.
Well, it’s not like Russia isn’t helping destroy EU as well. And good. I’m glad the UK/EU WEF Klaus Swab with Germany Brussels France and the like Reset “era” are gone. Biden’s next. As another poster pointed out, this isn’t East vs West or even US vs EU, it’s “New World Liberal Totalitarianism Oder vs New World Corporate State Fascism Order.” We haven’t had “Capitalism” since early 2000s.Its definitely been a “controlled” market in full swing since 2008… globally. EU being dictated by Merkels Germany with France and Brussels in the rear was all rather sickening, using the USA relentlessly for aide for military campaigns ( yes Libya & Syria were Frances colonies and they weren’t going to give them up! Wasn’t just USA making all these wars) & $$$$, and then trying to force they’re liberal totalitarian garbage on us from Brussels & Germany. Russia with the relentless UK screeching “Magistry/Skripal/MH117/Navalny” and Merkel does a ballerina dance joyfully putting sanction after sanctions through Brussels on Russia. Blame the US all you want for EU & Russia’s condition all you want. But they’re were and are,?a hecka lot if other nations throwing fuel on all this outside the US… Israel’s endless whining, Canada’s NOTzs, witch is plentiful there. Frankly both US and Russia have got to feel good that neither of them after Ukraine smoked will have to deal with EU/UK “leaders”.
It’s exactly like Russia isn’t helping destroy EU.
Russia built Nordstream 1 and 2 to supply gas to their partners. Russia also supplied gas through pipelines running through Ukraine, until Kiev stopped paying. Russia bought EU products until the US said NO. Russia enthusiastically joined China’s plan to link East Asia and Europe, so that everyone benefits. No, Russia is trying real hard to help Europe.
The Ukraine is like a bomb that the US has dropped into Europe. How many million unemployables?
Obama is among them, so let’s not leave out “the worst black racists” in your evaluation. You only included “the worst white racists.”
The Anglo Saxons were probably the first to fall. Starting in 1066 and in the decades after. You’d need a DNA test these days to be sure you are talking to one. Pretty sure some group is pulling some strings somewhere, but it won’t be an Anglo-Saxon conspiracy.
The U.S. is doing an excellent job of defeating itself, we really don’t need any enemies other than ourselves. This was even the point of view expressed in the New York Times by Nicholas Kristof.
To avoid nuclear Armageddon, an answer to the ominous question:
(1) “Complete victory. Liberation of the entire Ukraine. Zelensky capitulation. ”
But suggest it be amended to include Z elensky’s counterpart – the US Biden administration.
Both must leave. Because one will mirror the other in the event of either’s departure.
One has no heart, the other no soul. Be it ‘a devil in the details.’
” … Joe Biden won’t make it through the rest of his first term as “his mind is too far gone, …”
https://www.rt.com/news/559078-white-house-doctor-biden-unfit/
Biden wasn’t meant to make it through a whole term, he just needs to last till the end of Jan 2023, then Camela can take over for the next 10 years, with some help from Dominion voting crap.
“with help from Dominion” yup and all the other machines everywhere.
too much cognitive dissonance for people to get that the oligarchs manufacture these. “ct!”
I thought you meant Dominican. Don’t they get to vote in US elections?
Dominion and Diebald.
I believe your sentence should in fact read “how to defeat Russia without resorting to nuclear weapons?” Without or without the use of nuclear weapons the US cannot defeat Russia though the use of such weapons would likely make the planet uninhabitable.
…will Russian goes hard against neocons/khazarian..which own Dept.of State and partially DoD…past 30yrs…they must rid off hard way domestic enemies first…
Glazyev asked the same question in 2014. And his answer was: to break the dollar hegemony. It’s the only way.
->”And his answer was: to break the dollar hegemony. It’s the only way.”
How to impose a historic defeat on the US?
US power rests on two pillars, which support each other:
– military power;
– the “exorbitant privilege” of issuing the Dollar.
The American military-industrial complex is financed by the exorbitant privilege of issuing the Dollar, which in turn is guaranteed by military power.
Thus, the historic defeat of the U.S. can only be achieved if conquered on these two fronts.
However, and this is the main point: defeating the USA is not the same as defeating the Imperium.
Another monetary standard can replace the Dollar (as it replaced the Pound), and little fundamentally changes international social, economic and political relations.
Furthermore, a multipolar world tends to be unstable, with a number of regional powers competing for global hegemony (in a pre-World War I scenario).
July 17th is my birthday, and my Russian Grandfather’s birthday. July 17th is also a very eventful day in Russian History, including the above mentioned ww2 turning point, another was the ukie false flag airline downing. What a horrible birthday gift that was that year!
This year is much better! So far I have received the video of a himars and loader being destroyed, as well as 1 of the largest ru mod clobber lists that I have read in a day during this war so far.
One can only pray that the deserting defense forces are arranging surrender with the Russian forces and may return safely to their lands and lives after the war is over.
rip to all of the lost souls in this conflict.
And May your soul forever rest in Heaven Deda! Happy birthday where ever you are watching over us from, hopefully with Baba.

Good news, thanks! Can anyone please let me know the link to smo news videos by a young man in a white shirt who explained matters like the possible effect of the arrival of HIMARS at the front and other interesting matters? He should be in my bookmarks but I can’t find his channel. Thanks in advance!
I’m not sure who you mean as Dima from the Military Channel but he seems young, tho’ may not always wear a white shirt. I also don’t know about moderation policies based upon personal opinions, as i have had several comments trashed for mentioning other analysts. Here’s Dima anyway. GOOD LUCK!

New atlas, is the name of the channel On you tube and rumble. Might be ‘the new atlas. Brian is his name.
Perhaps you mean Brian Berletic of the New Atlas.
Indeed, thank you very much! It was Brian Berletic on The New Atlas I was looking for. The Saker’s bunch is great!
is it perhaps George Eliason?
Where is the international community? The UN and the western nations including the USA are criminal enterprises run and assisted by the UN .
There are illegally occupying forces of the USA and Turkey’s in Syrian lands , how come and why no one doing anything about it including Russian forces and Iranian , it seems to me they are all complicit in letting these forces stay there without lifting a finger , not to mention the almost daily or weekly bombing the Syrian territory by the criminal Zionist regime assisted by the corrupt US administration and criminal pentagon.
Where is the humanity and ethic of these nations .
Go figure , we are and always will be in the law of gurgle , you have a power you can do what ever you want , that is the worst possible way to live .
«There are illegally occupying forces of the USA and Turkey’s in Syrian lands»
Actually the USA and satellite states claims that Assad and the RF forces are illegally occupying Syrian lands, because they recognize as the legitimate government of Syria a “democratic” coalition of anti-Assad “freedom fighters”, while they claim that Assad is a “terrorist” that usurped power in Syria from that legitimate government. Just as the USA and satellites recognize Guaido as the legitimate “freedom fighter” president of Venezuela etc. etc. etc.
In practice the U.N. Charter rules of independence and non-interference are pointless, because any major power can recognize someone as the legitimate government of a state, and then be “invited” by that someone to “restore legitimacy” in that state.

“we shall not trouble you with specious pretences — either of how we have a right to our empire because we overthrew the Mede, or are now attacking you because of wrong that you have done us — and make a long speech which would not be believed; and in return we hope that you, instead of thinking to influence us by saying that you did not join the Lacedaemonians, although their colonists, or that you have done us no wrong, will aim at what is feasible, holding in view the real sentiments of us both;
since you know as well as we do that right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.”
since you know as well as we do that right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.
Excellent quote from Thucydides. Thank you.
He has been proven right since the fall of the USSR. It could have been worse for the weak today had Russia, itself one of the weak then, lost its formidable nuclear arsenal and thus its nuclear deterrent. That was the only thing that allowed the Russian Federation to keep its voice in the world, and made the Russian veto in the Security Council meaningful.
In late 2021 Russia tried to tell the West’s leader, the USA, that it was now an equal and had rights. That was something unpalatable to the US and here we are.
In a way the Ukraine is a proxy to that attempt by the Russians — with the US asking, and continuing to ask, Russia to prove that it is an equal worthy of having rights.
«Russia tried to tell the West’s leader, the USA, that it was now an equal and had rights»
But it is still not an equal, and even V. Putin recognizes that, for example in his speech 2022-02-24:
“Of course, practice, international relations and the rules regulating them had to take into account the changes that took place in the world and in the balance of forces.»
He then said that the USA should have taken advantage of this diplomatically, but instead their elites were arrogant about it:
“However, this should have been done professionally, smoothly, patiently, and with due regard and respect for the interests of all states and one’s own responsibility. Instead, we saw a state of euphoria created by the feeling of absolute superiority, a kind of modern absolutism, coupled with the low cultural standards and arrogance of those who formulated and pushed through decisions that suited only themselves.”
There is an article claiming that GW Bush wanted to handle a weak RF “professionally, smoothly, patiently, and with due regard and respect for the interests of all states” but Clinton and subsequent administations switched to an “up yours” attitude:

“it transpired that subsequent US presidents abandoned Bush’s wise caution”
Probably the “up yours” attitude was due in part to having had the opportunity to buy cheaply all the USSR secrets and discovering that the military power of the USSR had been vastly overstated, and in part also to the pressure of the “prometheist” expatriate lobbies subsequently.
«its formidable nuclear arsenal and thus its nuclear deterrent»
That is just a deterrent: France and the UK also have one, but they never dream to stop being USA vassal states, even if De Gaulle spoke of defense “tous azimuths”:

«Russia to prove that it is an equal worthy of having rights.»
While of course it is not an equal, the RF government is trying to prove instead that even if weaker it can still act with enough power that it can be a serious problem. The USA elites only recognize the PRC as a quasi-equal, and that’s why they so badly want to prevent it from becoming an equal.
That means they are done liberating the people they care about, which is why they were so careful about avoiding civilian casualties. Now that that’s done…

That pain dial is on the move again.
It would be good if the Saker did a peice on the jewishness of the American government. If there were as many wnite orthodox Christians in the.same positions there are jews the world would think those white Christians stole the election in 2020 and basically took over the government of the United States of America.
But since its the chosen ones its like nothing to see here just keep moving along, don’t be anti semite its perfectly normal for so many of the chosen ones to be in high positions.
I was once one of those blind Christians who thought those peooke were really chosen and special. No more. I wss blind, but now I see by the grace of God.
Nave a great day all. God in heaven please continue to bless Russia and President Putin and all God fearing people.
The Saker lives in the USA and most off us live in the west.
Put a topic of the chosen on your site is the best way to eliminate yourself (your site not your live).
Most people will just run away screeming conspiracy.
No matter what you think or even may believe to know keep away from the chosen and 9/11 or your site will loose all credibility with normal people living in the west.
No matter how many different topics you may write afterwards it will allways be pointed out that this is the site that wrote X and so cannot be trusted.
You need to teach the normal people first that the government does evil things and teach them time and time again. Do it with smaler topics where they have not been prepared how to react by the media.
Oh and one more thing do never believe that someone has woken up cause he is on the same side of you in one topic. For examples the Trump supporters against the deep state are all in on the war against russia/ china now and once again are believers.
“Normal people” lol. I get your premise, however. Fair enough.
Saker will never ever do it….he do not want shut down his website btw…Saker is legal resident of USA not a citizen..there is few websites regard of subject of your first sentence…..I did notice..loooooong time ago he wil not “touch” internal politics in the USA and he is right….
Further, “Jewishness” is racial bs.
Ask any Midwife, all babies born have each their own personality and abilities. So why start a sensitive ridiculous discussion when you can do a serious and respected factual intellectual research instead.
Several here keep writing about the white racists, but no one, except for me, complains. So, why complain about other so-called racists?
The Unz Review is the place for that topic not here

It is generally accepted that Western politicians are a degenerate and immoral subset of humanity controlled by blackmail.
It follows that the security services are the most likely to know the sordid details and are the ones who directly or indirectly pull the puppets strings.
The security services monopolise the provision of information to Governments and ensure that alternative sources of information are discredited and / or made unavailable to the decision makers.
Thus we have the situation where Western Governments are led by the nose to make decisions which are patently and visibly absurd because they are based on completely fictional information.
We are living with the results.
Have you ever been to China?
HK, Shanghai, Macau, anywhere?
he do not talk about -architecture wanders china cities – but spiritual emptiness of…. chinnese .ATHEISM….
Zhou Enlai, when asked about the impact of the French Revolution, said “too early to say.”
And here we are. The SMO and re-aligning multipolar world is the answer to the question. Who wins control of capital? Babeuf or the Thermidorian reaction?
When the dollar falters and Atlanticist transnational elite financial stranglehold on world public capital collapses, one can imagine Babeuf’s head shifting a bit atop its pile of skulls.
Make no mistake, the SMO marks the shift toward the world primacy of socialism as an organizing political economy. Putin, the bourgeois nationalist conservative and in praxis neoliberal, is at heart on board the China train.
Did you peer into Putin’s eyes and see his soul also, re “is at heart, on board the China train”? He is a neoliberal? I hope you are wrong!
He was talking about ’68 student protests.
Don’t spread incorrect useless memes
The greatest polluters of the last century was America and Western Europe. If we have global warming it’s because of them. Now China and India are developing you have an issue. Yet the West dumps millions of tonnes of radioactive and other garbage in Africa and buys up Brazil’s wood and you have no problem with that.
You come across silly racist. Sorry. It shows in your writing.
Russia has over 120 ethnicities, something few Westerners know.
Also there is no left in the West.
The green party all over the West was long ago infiltrated and controlled by CIA hence pro war.
The labour party largely also.
The intellectual left has been destroyed in the West. You just have fascists on both left and right.
You don’t even understand your own society yet you think you know what China and Russia that you have never been to are like.
My grandmother is Russian. We once visited her in winter and I will never visit in winter again . Still thawing.
You think many Russians aspire to be like the West yet you don’t understand which part of the West people liked. Hot California’s, movies, fashion big Mac’s, jazz fine. Transgender facism,. Nazi CIA, not like.
I can find something to like or dislike in any country. Any educated person should be able to.
China has huge culture and history. Fool you for thinking they offer you nothing. Yes they have an attitude to wildlife and resources exploitation, eg in Africa that has been criticised and trust me as an African I have seen them try to change to improve their image and behaviour. So no they are not perfect. But right now US is here creating civil war in Ethiopia, Somali, trying in Uganda and trying on Kenya to rape those countries. China just built roads, ports,, factories. They leave those. The West leaves destruction. I know who I prefer.
Fix your own society. No one wants ignorant westerners in theirs
.
Adding more pressure as the cool season approaches. Godspeed to Russia.
Some excerpts from Putin’s speech to Russian parliamentarians on July 8, 2022:
“We are told today that we started a war in Donbass, in Ukraine. No, he was unleashed by that same collective West by organizing and supporting the unconstitutional armed coup in Ukraine in 2014, and then encouraging and justifying the genocide of the people of Donbass. It is precisely this collective West that is the direct instigator, the culprit of what is happening today.”
There’s no use in not listening to the other side. Neocons should imagine this scenario because it’s reality too: 1) There are only two sides/parties; 2) Putin knows he wanted peace not war; 3) war happened, so Putin knows who is at fault. “He is a liar who just wants to reconstitute the Soviet Empire, and he is the richest man in the world too, and he is stupid for being that way because – he can’t use that money if he already has what he wants!” Okay, just know, though, that if you are not right, he is watching you as he knows you. A problem with accusations and judgments is that you could be judging yourself if wrong (you can’t miss).
“Both the war has been unleashed and the sanctions have been imposed. Under normal circumstances, that would probably have been difficult to achieve.”
He is speaking as if the war is over already. He knows the outcome (like Juancho and Panza know it too), so his opinions on the other side are more than obvious.
“At the same time, I would like to say and emphasize: we have many supporters, also in the United States itself and in Europe, and even more on other continents and in other countries, and there is no doubt that they are growing.”
He reads social media from other countries. Does he come here? …let’s at least check our spelling. :)
How about the Meridian aircraft carrying ammunition to Bangaladesh via Jordan This could not possibly contain recently acquired supplies for Ukraine via NATO? Also this is the day Putin transitted UKIE airspace returning from Brazil.
I have already written it somewhere, it seems to me, and I repeat it once more, even if my words are almost in the wind because it is like talking about the sun to a blind man. The sun is God, while the blind man is man without any active link with Him. The last generations (I believe, for about a hundred years) have been completely emptied of any spiritual reference through, in particular, the new seductive technologies ( radio, TV, cinema, more recently even the Internet), which have produced tremendous brainwashing of which the “victims”, generation after generation, are almost completely unaware. When the human being is separated from his deepest “being”, that is, from the soul, which connects him directly to God, he becomes and acts like a sheep without even realizing it. This is why we have come to this point where scholars in all fields are puzzling, trying to give some explanation and solution, but even they, without realizing it, are in the same spiritual blindness as the aforementioned sheep they speak of. At a certain point a paradoxical phenomenon occurs, in the sense that these scholars, with their interminable even laudable dissertations, further confuse already confused brains. How come ? But because they too, without realizing it, do not have the fundamental key to better understand the reality that surrounds us and very often anguishes us: the spiritual connection with God. A sort of intellectual short circuit is formed in which the scientist hopes to make light and he cannot do it because he cannot find the switch (of which he does not even know the existence and the indispensable function) to illuminate the “room” of his soul and therefore of his brain. Not having an active spiritual relationship with God (and this can be clearly deduced from the fact that no one ever names Him with the false excuse and accusation that whoever does, he does not often or almost always live what he says), he cannot even understand the fundamental importance of this relationship in understanding what it seeks to understand. He fails to understand that science alone is not enough to fully understand the human being and his behavior.
Why does this happen? Because man’s deepest engine is his soul and if he doesn’t have a connection, a relationship with God, he doesn’t even know he has a soul of which, therefore, he doesn’t understand practically anything. This is why we are on the brink: spiritual blindness produced a priori with tireless patient work by the Zionist globalists. Blindness that allowed the crimes that we are suffering on our skin today and that have been planned for centuries.
The situation is very painful because the blind ones are convinced that they are not blind, the sheep are convinced that they are not sheep, so they go to the slaughter of eternal damnation without suspecting anything. The only thing that can be said to them is to start making a little effort in the area of prayer, reciting every day (at the beginning even only mechanically) some “Hail Marys” (not very demanding) to ask the Blessed Virgin (to whom God has given all power) a minimum of initial interior light, which pushes them to continue on the new path. The most humble Mother of God does not wait (exclusively for the salvation of our souls) for nothing but this small act of humility and then She will covers us more and more with Her graces and blessings.

Removed. No attacking other commenters. Mod. I studied Chinese language, history, and culture many years ago, but never stopped paying attention to things Chinese. I worked in China as an English professor. As a Buddhist, I visited fully functional Chinese temples and monasteries.
The Chinese state has one fundamental difference to Western states: it cares about its people. As Michael Hudson often points out, one of the main reasons Chinese labor is cheaper than American labor is public infrastructure. Workers pay about 10% of income for housing, medical care is either free or subsidized, food is good and plentiful, education is free, public transportation is well developed and inexpensive.
For a long time, urban areas enjoyed prosperity, but for about the past 10 years, China has moved to insure prosperity for rural China, especially minority areas such as Xinjiang. The result has been the alleviation of poverty for millions of people, more than anywhere else in the world.
China used capitalism to develop its industries, but that era seems over. Unlike in the West, China never developed a finance oligarchy and since the advent of the “shared prosperity” policy, Chinese billionaires have been diminished.
The West hates what China’s social system has done and is in the prospect of destroying it–that is what the West does.
To add to your excellent comment:
https://metallicman.com/china-and-america-comparisons/
“China used capitalism to develop its industries, but that era seems over. Unlike in the West, China never developed a finance oligarchy and since the advent of the “shared prosperity” policy, Chinese billionaires have been diminished.”
Guess which particular population China has never had? OK, I know it’s not a challenge question, but…
IMO, while China has had its own monetary systems over the centuries, and even as it did have an entrenched aristocracy (during the Emperors’ rule) and a well trained Mandarin class which ran the Bureaucratic administrative offices, it never had that weird worshipful attitude to money as the West had. Wealth was always there, but the revolution has done much to shake the foundations of the wealth holders, to the point that even decades later, wealth – as in inherited/asset wealth – was/is still viewed with suspicion.
In the West, the Christian/jewish alliance (all through the Middle ages and to this day) has produced a n effective “monetary aristocracy/priesthood”, which has been making its way for the past 3 centuries to get to its own “peak wealth”, now turning the corner, as the colonial theft era has come to an end. Marx thought (hoped) it’d end sooner, but technology came along and gave it another century or so of life.
What hasn’t ended yet is the worship of money in all its forms, which has now – in capitalism’s waning days, met its won late stage, with corruption of all democratic institutions becoming impossible to ignore. Alas, a day will come and historians of the future will come to see that much of the vaunted Liberal Democratic edifice has been but a fig leaf to cover up the ravages of Big Money transformed into Big oligarchy.
China is on its own path, adopting features of Capitalism minus the worshipful part. IOW, a system of trade and wealth building that can be useful in many areas, but minus the excesses. Which is not al all an easy thing to do, especially as the pressure from the West to adopt Finance capitalism is huge.
I have high hopes for China partly because it did not have to contend with one of the most corrosive aspects of Finance capitalism, namely, the existence of an economics high priesthood and its countless intellectual peddlers.
You don’t understand ‘liberalism’. What John Mearsheimer calls the “liberal hegemony” is fully operational in the US and Europe. It comprises both the Parties who only disagree on peripheral matters, such as identities and so forth, but both Parties are capitalist to their core and fully agree on global dominance. There is no ‘liberal’ force destroying America; America is doing that to itself in full view of everyone.
“but both Parties are capitalist to their core and fully agree on global dominance»
Gore Vidal, from the insider Gore political dynasty, agreed with you:
“There is only one party in the United States, the Property Party […] and it has two right wings: Republican and Democrat. Republicans are a bit stupider, more rigid, more doctrinaire in their laissez-faire capitalism than the Democrats, who are cuter, prettier, a bit more corrupt — until recently […] and more willing than the Republicans to make small adjustments when the poor, the black, the anti-imperialists get out of hand. But, essentially, there is no difference between the two parties.”
George Mikes, an english-hungarian who wrote in the 1954 a humorous yet accurate description of the USA (“How to scrape skies”):
“In England you know for instance that the Labour Party is for the nationalization of various industries and the Conservatives are against it. In America such ideological clashes hardly ever occur. A practical issue may be whether the U.S. should give a large loan to Britain or not. In Siloam Springs (Ala) the loyal Democratic leader, with an eye on the Jewish inhabitants, may take up an anti-British attitude because of Palestine. In the next village, however, the bank manager’s daughter may have an English fiancé, a former R.A.F. pilot, who is personally very popular and the Democratic Party leader will be inclined to say: ‘Let the poor boy have the dough.’ All this may seem very confusing but, in fact, it is quite simple. The difference between the two main American parties is very sharp and well defined; it is more marked than the difference between Communists and right-wing Democrats in any European coalition government:
(a) one party is in, the other is out;
(b) one party wants to stay in and the other tries to get it out.”
BTW in England currently there are only very small differences anymore among the main parties, because “we are all thatcherites now”.

Great Tsar of blessed memory. Those who so brutally killed him and his family showed the true face of cursed communism, call it Bolshevism, Liberal World Order, Progressivism or Woke…it’s all the same evil shiit.
«Great Tsar of blessed memory»
Just from a comment above someone listed several examples of how blessed that memory is:
/open-thread-for-today-4/#comment-1123222
«On January 9, 1905, near the St. Petersburg Winter Palace, Tsar Nicholas II’s troops shot and dismembered over a thousand demonstrators who were peacefully marching with a petition to the tsar. The event went down in history as “Bloody Sunday”.»
Yeah the tzar is evil cause he killed thousands and the bolshevics saints who killed millions?
– The event went down in history as “Bloody Sunday”.»
There was no freedom of demonstration in 1905 according to this source:
– Issued on 17 October 1905, the Manifesto stated that the government would grant the population reforms such as the right to vote and to convene in assemblies. Its main provisions were:
The granting of the population “inviolable personal rights” including freedom of conscience, speech, and assemblage
Giving the population who were previously cut off from doing so participation in the newly formed Duma
Ensuring that no law would be passed without the consent of the Imperial Duma.[58]
So protests were highly illegal 1905, like occupation of Congress 2020.
Lol everyone listen to this guy!! Russia composed by more than 130 ethnicities. Four major state observe religions. Is more Caucasian and needs to learn more freedom lol Russians aren’t like you!!
Alexander M has a good summary of the events to date, worth a listen. He figures the Russian offer for a stop to combat will drip so much honey the west will refuse the offer….too stupid to get the first offer, never mind understand what they started, this offer when refused gives Russia carte blanche to move the borders in the Ukraine to where ever they want. Meanwhile the grinder grinds on and on.

Today no less than the head of the Committee of Constitutional Legislation of Russia’s Federation Council, Andrey Klishas, called for extending the special military operation to the entirety of ‘Ukraine’:
“Threats from the Ukrainian junta to attack Crimea or the Crimean bridge only confirm that ‘denazification’ and demilitarization must be carried out throughout the whole of Ukraine, otherwise there will always be a threat to our territory, our citizens and infrastructure,”.
Does his statement reflect the actual intentions of the government? One would indeed hope so.
https://www.rt.com/russia/559123-ukraine-crimea-demilitarization-klishas/
https://ria.ru/20220717/ukraina-1803059255.html
“Threats from the Ukrainian junta to attack Crimea or the Crimean bridge only confirm that ‘denazification’ and demilitarization must be carried out throughout the whole of Ukraine, otherwise there will always be a threat to our territory, our citizens and infrastructure”
I think that would be a bad idea:
* The USA and NATO will fund, train and arm for a long time a lot of “freedom fighters” in Ukraine to bleed the RF military. It took 13 years from the start of the Afghan civil war in 1978 and the disintegration of the USSR, the USA “deep state” works in the long term.
* The only options are whether the supply and training bases for the “freedom fighters” will be in Poland and Romania or in western Ukraine (Ruthenia) if that is left outside the area of RF control.
For the RF is better to leave western Ukraine alone, so they can bomb and attack the “freedom fighters” as they are trained or pass through it, because it is better not to bomb or attack bases inside Poland or Romania.
Whatever part off ukraine will be left ouside of russian control will be fast tracked into EU and if not official nato they will have nato “peace” forces there. Something like in bosnia or kosovo.
I found this VERY amusing and how propaganda can always go very badly!
So here’s a story of our ‘great American mercenary hero’ fighting in Ukraine for democracy, justice:
https://www.wfsb.com/video/2022/07/12/video-former-army-sergeant-ct-fights-ukraine/
and here’s the same guy attacking some poor black guy on a subway in NY, showing his true character. Fortunately, the black guy was able to defend himself quite well!
https://t.me/RVvoenkor/20083
I watched that vid, GL covered it, and rehashed it with Andrei, Larry and Alexander yesterday, it’s a bit of a stale story, the subway fight happened two years ago. Just atypical daily life on a big city subway.
Were I scoring the fight, a bit of a draw…..but who knows how latter rounds may gone.
Cheers M
That was pretty funny.
Video 1; “Yeah, I just took out 5 Russian T-90’s armed only with a pocket knife!”
Video 2; “I had a can of whoop-ass opened on me because of 50 pound pack and I was drunk”
Oh, the perils of being a Tik-tok Terrorist
Tbh, both didn’t seem to know how to fight, but that kid had heart, I’ll give him that! Vasquez is a loser. Turn on his own family to go fight for a corrupt cause in Ukraine. Speaks volumes.
The subway incident was part of his training.
The Russian army has to obey Shoigu’s command and blow the doors in on remaining Ukies in the Donbass.
Then move on to Odessa an Kharkov and close the deal before late autumn.
Biden’s expansion of the DoD’s budget to $813 billion this year may not even be what we think it means. Instead of being a buildup to fight a wider war, this may seriously be just the last dip at the trough before the whole system comes crashing down.

Alot of that money goes to maintaining thousands American military bases all over the world. Eg.
East Africa – Chagos Garcis – the US and Brits threw all the indigenous black people into ocean to swim to Mauritius and illegally occupy this islands as military base in Indian Ocean. Despite UK supreme court saying government must give it back the Brits bend the behind to the US and the US sticks itself in the territory. Illegal occupation. They don’t care. Huge base.
Then they have brand new bases in Somalia again, Kenya a small one, etc. So 3 bases in 6 countries of East Africa.
Then they own and pay Egypt and Pakistan Army which are whores for hire on their payroll. Traitor bitches are not cheap.
Bases in Japan, Germany, etc phew, the Americans have bases coming out of their ass. They eat and fart a base. Stink is all over the world everyone holding their nose.
All those bases. Hope the Chinese and Russians have properly pointed hypersonics. 5000 hypersonic missiles. No more US overseas bases.
How they will cry.
That would be nice.
The world is a perti dish of nations vying for position in the petri dish. When Japan was the extremely successful nation in the boom period of the 1980’s, everybody wanted to be like the Japanese success story. Then what happened?
Russians who view the West as the success story that they feel should be embraced, will change their opinion when the west turns into a pile of poop. The West’s success story was built on ever increasing mountains of debt stacked on balance sheets across the world.
The West pretends to be rich nations. In actuality, they are highly indebted nations. Yet they call nations that owe them money highly indebted nations as through there is a difference. It all works until one day people start having their Bitcoin moment and discover there is actually nothing here.

Eternal glory to the defenders of Stalingrad.
Ameen!!!
It is the spirit of Stalingrad that is now fighting to free the Donbass, which the German nazis aimed to possess. They were defeated then, their Ukro heirs will be defeated now.
Stalingrad forged the heart of Russia.
Russia will never allowed another Barbarossa to come and rape their land.
Long live the heroes and martyrs of Stalingrad!!!

《At such a distance I search, inquire, smell bloody wreckage,
I touch the dismantled forms of your body,
I walk lonely in your streets where there are loose hands and broken clocks,
I feel you as a human creature,
And what are you, Stalingrad, if not this?
A creature that doesn’t want to die and fights
against the sky, the water, the metal, the creature fights,
against millions of arms and mechanical devices the creature fights,
against cold, hunger, night, against death the creature fights,
and wins.》

…if they attack Crimea.
Wonder if that’s behind the closing of the US embassy in Kiev, and the call for US citizens to leave Ukraine. Now that the US has provided the Ukroreich with 300kms missiles, the possibility they will attack Russia and Crimea, is high.

Religion in China:
50%+ atheist
28% Folk: ancestor worship, etc
17% Buddhist
-5% Christian & Muslim combined
50%+ atheist, 28% Folk (mostly Dao and Shinto). That sounds about right, but you also need to remind people that ‘religions’ in China are much less mutually exclusive than in the West. A common expression is that “One is born Shinto, marries Christian and dies Buddhist”. One university professor I heard, when asked what religion his family was, said “I don’t know, we haven’t had any marriages or deaths recently”. Also difficult to distinguish atheist from Buddhist, since Buddhism is formally atheist, so I guess you mean ‘non-practicing’? Culturally We’re approaching “Hungry Ghost Month” and I bet all those atheists will be involved in the street festivals with everyone else. Remember – don’t leave your chopsticks standing up in your food on August 15th.
“Chinese are like a locust infestation and they will spread and conquer and pillage the environment everywhere they go.”
What a racist diatribe.

Because of that endless barrage of CHN bashing propaganda – that never stops. Only Russisa gets it even worse!!! And that’ s one of those reasons you may come to The Saker, to correct it.
But it must be true regarding China, and of course Mr.Tucker said so!!!!! Even so he’s been fabricating all sorts of false news & narratives for purely – so called – ideology reasons!! And like Pompous he declined an interview with CTGN, also. OOPs, makes you wonder why?!

Daleep Singh, once Biden’s Russia(Putin’s) sanctions coordinator and a champion of US power, left WH unceremoniously, became unemployed, found a new job, and in his revised resume, not a single word was mentioned about his role in “Putin’s sanctions”. From golden boy, to unemployed, to economist, quite a story. US media have been really hushed, hushed about his downfall. No matter what, you know US sanctions are not going well.

In a perverse way, this case is very funny.
Apparently, Daleep Singh decided to save his own ass and desert the Titanic–which he was personally responsible for creating through his role as Sanctions Coordinator against Russia.
Singh’s omission of this White House job on his resume is doubly comical.
Unfortunately, Daleep “Rats Deserting the Ship” Singh will never have to face consequences for the economic disaster that he helped to cause and instead will be rewarded with a cushy job in the financial services industry.

《At such a distance I search, inquire, smell bloody wreckage,
I touch the dismantled forms of your body,
I walk lonely in your streets where there are loose hands and broken clocks,
I feel you as a human creature,
And what are you, Stalingrad, if not this?
A creature that doesn’t want to die and fights
against the sky, the water, the metal, the creature fights,
against millions of arms and mechanical devices the creature fights,
against cold, hunger, night, against death the creature fights,
and wins.》

Thanks, arkx Brasil, appreciate it very much!!!
I am sure in Portuguese, the poem is even more beautiful.
I enjoy getting introduced to films in general, my weakness, however, are Russian films, of which I have a large collection, a sizable part of it from WWII.
Special thanks for this one.
Recently, “Military Chronicle” did a piece on Ozerov’s WWII series “Liberation,” correcting some of the battlefields portrayed in the movie. And more. Will look for it and post it for you. The whole series is in YouTube.
Cheers.

The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 › Liberation: The Arc of Fire (1968)
“Liberation: The Arc of Fire “is the only, most realistic and historically accurate film about the battles on the Kursk” balcony ” in the summer of 1943, since its release on the screens, nothing like or better has been shot.
————————————————–
“Fire Arc” – the first film (out of five) in the large-scale historical epic of Yuri Ozerov “Liberation”, tells about the grandiose battle on the Kursk Bulge in the summer of 1943. It was the site of the largest tank battle in the history of World War II, and one of the largest military operations on the eastern Front. Along with the personal fates of the heroes on the battlefield, the film also shows general battle scenes, the activities of headquarters and intelligence services, the work of the supreme commander’s headquarters, and those who worked at the front and in the rear.
The film is worth watching-anyone who wants to know the historical truth, yes, it is artistic, but it contains a lot of historically true facts about the war, unlike Western and modern Russian cinema. A great script, master of military prose Yuri Bondyrev, fine directing, camerawork, especially battle scenes are admired…

Zelensky will destroy Ukraine as much as he is told
Why Kyiv deliberately closes the window of opportunity for compromise
.
Kiev does not intend to cede its territories for a diplomatic settlement of the conflict, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with CNN .
“Ukrainians are not ready to give up their land, to agree that these territories belong to Russia. This is our land. We all talk about it and intend to prove it,” he said.
I wonder if you got tired of repeating this mantra? In Kyiv, it is pronounced regularly, and sometimes they talk about the readiness to recognize the borders on 02/24/2022.
So quite recently, the fact that Kiev could discuss the country’s borders with Moscow as of “until February 24” was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba .
“It would not be very wise for me to disclose our conditions, but today each item can be the subject of dialogue,” he said, stressing that Ukraine will continue to protect the integrity and sovereignty of its territory.
And in early May, Zelensky himself demanded that Russia return to “the borders until February 24.” True, with the proviso that it is also necessary to “give Crimea back.”
From the regularly changing wording, only one conclusion can be drawn: Kyiv is not ready for negotiations at all and is doing everything to prevent them from taking place. In any case, no one asks about his wishes on the terms of potential negotiations.
“Zelensky can stop the fighting only if he has a reason to declare victory over Russia,” says Dmitry Galkin, a political observer for the 2000 newspaper .
https://svpressa.ru/politic/article/339673/
“From the regularly changing wording, only one conclusion can be drawn: Kyiv is not ready for negotiations at all and is doing everything to prevent them from taking place. In any case, no one asks about his wishes on the terms of potential negotiations.”
– Let’s be even more real by looking at it with their (Ukraine) own eyes. It’s not “negotiation” for them. It’s loss of the Donbass too. The U.S., president Biden, already said that it won’t push Ukraine to accede to such a concession nor stop them from it. The United States and the West would have to pressure Ukraine for them to be in a better position to consider it (Ukrainians are so unlike puppets that they might cede to the pressure only too late, if they cede at all).
-Russia is ready for more war action like it really was, say, on February 20, so it doesn’t tell them everyday that, unless there’s “negotiation”, the war will go on to cover all of Ukraine; it leaves that in limbo. If Ukraine does not see for itself that it needs to cede the Donbass in order to save its statehood, it’s again responsible for not seeing what can happen. Putin, candidly, warned twice about loss of statehood and twice is enough (how many warnings of that are needed?). Being ready to widen its objectives, Russia doesn’t warn Ukraine everyday. It doesn’t have to. To wit, for insisting on joining NATO, for not respecting the Minsk agreements, for even talking about wanting to have a nuclear bomb days before Feb. 24, Zelensky’s government is primarily or fully (both terms apply) responsible for the war, and for the same reasons will be responsible for its loss of statehood if it happens.
– It’s “negotiation” for losing the Donbass only and not all of Ukraine. As Putin said, with every day that passes, the “negotiation” becomes harder for Zelensky and the West. Some people wonder if, or even predict that, Russia wants Odessa too now. When Russia gave its conditions for ending the war, the war situation was different. That was like two months ago. “Negotiation” is now different for sure.
– The Biden administration has a military “stalemate” as its goal, so it’s more realistic than Ukraine but wrong too. Once it realizes that a stalemate goal is not realistic at all, it will realize that it will lose in its own eyes too. Then, I think the U.S. and also the ‘West’ might pressure Ukraine to lose the Donbass only. If they takes this track but Ukraine persists in fighting, then the West might (should) leave Ukraine to fight its own war, and negotiate separately with Russia to ensure the conflict does not extend beyond Ukraine.
– The key, as so often, are the past errors made which are hard to recognize, accept and correct. For example, if a “stalemate” is not recognized as being impossible, it could mean a much larger war that doesn’t end in “victory” anyway.

A long stalemate is good for the USA government, but the quagmire of an endless “freedom fighter” war is good too. The only outcomes that are bad for the USA government are a quick RF defeat or a quick RF victory. A long war, whether a field war or an “freedom fighter” war is the hope.
The goal is not even ukrainian victory, it is regime change in the RF, and ideally its fragmentation, as in Afghanistan and USSR, or Yugoslavia.
The purpose of regime change in the RF is to be “invited” by a “yeltisinized” government to put a chain of CIA/DOD biolabs and bases on the northern and west chinese borders to fund, train and arm a lot of “freedom fighters” inside China.
That “endless ‘freedom fighter’ war” would require the support of the population, right? I don’t know about the geography of Ukraine but I read that it’s not ideal for that kind of war or guerrilla war.
I hope with all my heart for a speedy Russian victory on the “cretins” in Kiev, and on their European and American sponsors….
What was that air-crash in Greece all about?
Ukrainian air-crew, Serbian mortars to Bangladesh?
Zalenski fires close friends not too long after.
Is this the looting of so-called arms aid to Ukraine?
Haven’t really known where to post this til this Open thread.
In the US, the 10-episode Messiah Netflix series was cancelled after just 1 season. It was based on the 3rd novel in a trilogy by Marjorie Holmes.
In the series, al-Masih (from Iran, formerly Persia) is taken into custody for questioning & has a meeting with a US President. At one point he talks of World Peace and tells the President to “withdraw all US troops” from around the world.
Now, we can’t have MICIMATT deprived of its human sacrifice for Mammon now, can we?
The MFC would have been a better place to post this. Mod.
I really enjoyed that series and was very disappointed it was canceled!
An interesting take on pace of Russian advance and tactics
https://natyliesbaldwin.com/2022/07/did-the-west-fall-into-a-russian-trap/
It’s interesting to note that it took four months for a Western journalist to find out that the Donbass was the black hole or thevacuum cleaner used by Russia to cleanse Ukraine of it’s military.
However I am not sure of that interpretation. That would be unfair to the people of Donetsk to use them as the bait and let them suffer constant threats of shelling. There must be some other explanation.
Yeah, I don’t think it is a trap, but instead standard Russian military doctrine:
“We see a slow advance in the Donbass and near Kharkov, which is due to the fact that the army saves its forces as much as possible, giving the enemy even time and the opportunity to bring up reserves and thus destroying the entire military potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
Compare that paragraph above to this clip:
The Great Commanders – 106 – Georgy Zhukov
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RNmz8ARKc8&t=1265s
Imagine all of that Western military aid ending up in the cities. As Zhukov says, that is the last place they want to encounter it. And in the case of Kharkov, the Russians withdrew to the fields, the Ukrainians followed them out and then the Russians re-engaged.
Amazing that Western generals and military experts don’t know this… but I suppose they are too busy with politics to spend time mastering their discipline. Like Liz Truss not knowing what country Rostov was located in. (sigh)
We need the Saker back. I fear dark clouds are gathering I’m counting the days till his return.
Balkans: Ukraine 2.0? To hear Serbian president Vucic talk about a “going to hell”/ww3 just days after noting bringing the draft back in Serbia, (having served two SFOR tours and lived many years in Bosnia) IMO, there could be a continuation of the 1995 war and we will all know it after D.C should write Sarajevo a huge, billion-dollar check to re-start Bosnia’s draft to counter Serbia’s coming troop build-up. Then, as before, Russian peacekeepers fly into Serbia and if Dodic gets his way, into Republica Serbska, too. Then, NATO peacekeepers join the recent EUFOR surge in Sarajevo, and lots of crazy tension returns. This hypothesis is a result of L. Austin’s statement “to wear down and prevent Russia’s ability to attack any more of its neighbors.”
The US does not need to encourage bosnian muslims and albanians to restart the war.
They are waiting for the permission since the war ended.
They are still angry and feel betrayed that the USA did not permit them to drive out all christians out of bosnia and all serbs out of kosovo.
But i would not trust vucic he was known as merkels biggest fan on the balcans.
A carrier from comrade of milosevic to a pro western polititian who wants to bring
serbia into EU this smells fishy…
No one should talk about we are going to hell. They should instead DO something. Therefore its their fault we now end up in hell because they never did anything but only talked the talk and did not act.
All your preachers: You do it first, and then I come after! And stop your fence sitting!
Ms Elinsky was cleaning house the past two days…..someone sharpening the knives?
Major smack down, second day in a row, RF missile forces grinding heavy on Ukie motorized and mechanized brigades, rear areas.

A missile obliterating davos was a missed opportunity. A few more is all thats needed for the estates of a handful of families. Why fight nations when you can cut the heads of the snake
Well the fact that Republican congresswoman (I think she’s a woman, I’ll have to ask our latest Supreme Court nominee…) is treating ZelenskY like a worthless corrupt showboat artist, is big news here in the States, where Democrats and RINOs have yet to find a few billion here and there to send the ungrateful leader. It might get the Burisma war back on the front pages in a way Biden and his fellow rectal probers might not appreciate.
The New “Stalin Organ,” a Monster Killer
——————————————————
“Stalin Organs” or “Katyusha” as they are also known, are heading for a major upgrade, in which the current SMO might be playing a role.
First, a little bit of history into the name.
This from Israeli-controlled Wikipedia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyusha_rocket_launcher
“…Because they were marked with the letter K (for Voronezh Komintern Factory),[3][4] Red Army troops adopted a nickname from Mikhail Isakovsky’s popular wartime song, “Katyusha”, about a girl longing for her absent beloved, who has gone away on military service.[5] Katyusha is the Russian equivalent of Katie, an endearing diminutive form of the name Katherine. Yekaterina is given the diminutive Katya, which itself is then given the affectionate diminutive Katyusha.[6]
The military designation for “Katyusha” was BM, “…BM stands for boyevaya mashina (Russian: боевая машина – combat vehicle), and there were three versions in WWII, BM-13, BM-8, and BM-31, “Katyusha’s” heavy launcher, AKA as “…Andryusha (Андрюша, an affectionate diminutive of “Andrew”).”
“Katyusha” evolved, and in the early 1960’s, 122 mm BM-21 Grad came to life, followed by 220 mm BM-27 Uragan in the late 1970’s, and by 300 mm BM-30 Smerch, in the late 1980’s. In 2014, the 300 mm 9A52-4 Tornado entered service, with the aim of replacing all previous ones, Grad, Uragan, and Smerch.
“Katyusha” have been mostly used for “saturation bombardment. A battery of four BM-13 launchers could fire a salvo in 7–10 seconds that delivered 4.35 tons of high explosives over a 400,000-square-metre (4,300,000 sq ft) impact zone,[2] making its power roughly equivalent to that of 72 conventional artillery guns.”
The next step in the Katyusha development, was taken by MLRS designer Nikolai Alexandrovich Makarovetz, who died in 2019, but whose ideas for the creation of a high-precision MLRS are being implemented. This will be a 300 mm, 400 kms, high-precision MLRS, a killer monster, with its own drone sending coordinates directly to the rocket launcher.
“Katyusha” were called “Stalin Organs” by the German nazis who besides the saturation shelling, had to cope with “…a distinctive howling sound which terrified the German troops,[7] adding a psychological warfare aspect to their use…” The name “Stalin Organ” went to all the foreign versions of the “Katyusha,” as per Wikipedia.
“…Weapons of this type are known by the same name in Denmark (Danish: Stalinorgel), Finland (Finnish: Stalinin urut), France (French: orgue de Staline), Norway (Norwegian: Stalinorgel), the Netherlands and Belgium (Dutch: Stalinorgel), Hungary (Hungarian: Sztálinorgona), Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries (Spanish: Órganos de Stalin) as well as in Sweden (Swedish: Stalinorgel).[5]
The latest version of the “Stalin Organ” might not howl as much as the original one, but it will hit the target with one-pointed precision.
https://k-politika.ru/stalo-izvestno-o-razrabotke-v-rossii-smercha-s-dalnostyu-400-km/
It became known about the development in Russia of ” Smerch “with a range of 400 km

Thanks for the detail and update on those weapon systems, the Nazi scum sure didn’t like the music those Stalin Organs played in Berlin, now we have a new generation of Nazi scum to deal with.
I am still wondering how the spread of the rockets is controlled . by launch tubes set at varying angles….so at max distance they must spread wider than a close to launch with less range but more intensive effect . so…distance from target controls spread ..or if angled steeply the actual flight distance ie up and down more for a nearer target will ensure a wide spread as well???
Presstitute Marina Ovsyannikova arrested.
She’s protesting the killing of children in Ukraine, calling Putin assassin, not a word about the hundreds of children killed by the nazis in Donbass.
Lock her in and throw away the key, to the Moskva‘s deepest waters.

Regarding the ongoing clowning with Ovsyannikova, who turned out to be useless to anyone in the West and Ukraine and came again on tour to the Russian Federation, in my opinion, rewinds the term for a hooligan and after going abroad, impose a ban on entry into the Russian Federation for 10-50 years. In general, to conduct according to the Pavlensky scheme, let him work in Paris.

Don’t really know what to make of this yet. Perhaps the Ukies are recycling US weaponry for other regime change ops in other nations friendly to the Russia-China double helix. in this case, Bangladesh.
So after the regime change in Pakistan & Sri Lanka, looks like Bangla is the next head on the collective West’s chopping block.
Al Jazeera reports Ukie aircraft carrying weapons from Serbia to Bangladesh crashed. 8 killed.
We also don’t know the names of the deceased.
Never rule out the Elites’ committal of a greater crime to obscure a lesser one, i.e. targeted assassination.
Some good news: Altho’ he hasn’t returned to national power former Pakistani PM Imran Khan’s party enjoyed a massive election win in Punjab.
Why haven’t the Russians struck back with their own rounds of crippling sanctions? Why are they even supplying Europe? If this is an existential struggle for them, why haven’t they hit back with full force?
Maybe Larry Johnson’s latest article will answer this question. It sure helped me put things into perspective!
Operation Z – Don’t Interrupt
https://sonar21.com/operation-z-dont-interrupt/
RF MFA’s Maria Zakharova penned this gem in MFA’s Telegram channel (here slightly shortened for space) taking a dig at the A-S notion of ‘democracy’ and ‘exceptionalism.’
‘Anglo-Saxon politics is an amazing thing. In recent years in Washington and London, people of unknown gender with brazen faces have set about giving other countries grades in democracy – developed, undeveloped, half-developed, or underdeveloped. Before that, they rated economies. But since many developing countries today can give the States a run for their money, and London has generally suffocated in the dust left by its former colonies galloping away, they have wisely decided to leave economic assessments alone.
Some 60 years ago, until 1966, there was a place in Southern Africa known as Bechuanaland. Now it’s called Botswana, but back then, it was a British protectorate, another colony that London established to restrain the growth of German and Portuguese colonies, and to plunder its gold.
However, shortly after World War II, the heir to the ruling dynasty of Bechuanaland – Prince Seretse Khama – went to Britain to study at Oxford and… fell in love. The brilliantly educated young man fell in love with the daughter of a royal officer, Ruth Williams, and he proposed to her.
However, the advocates of democracy were outraged − white officials from South Africa and their colleagues in the British Cabinet of Ministers were seriously opposed to the marriage of a white Englishwoman and a black African from a colony. And democracy miraculously legitimised that attitude.
The young bride was personally visited by the British Secretary for Commonwealth Affairs who told Ruth that if she did not give up her African, it could be the beginning of the end of the British Empire in Africa.
But Ruth remained steadfast.
Alas, they were not allowed to marry in public: the Anglican priest, under pressure from the authorities, refused to marry them. If they had been the same color – and today also the same-sex – it would have been a different story, but at that time, the British crown did not see the marriage between a man and a woman of different skin colours as God-pleasing. So they just quietly married at a civil registry office.
British authorities refused to let Ruth and Seretse leave the country. They had to actually spend the next eight long years under house arrest in London.
But this story has a good ending.
Seretse Khama and his wife reached his homeland.
He never became a real king, but… together with his wife, they led the movement for independence, and Khama was elected the first president of his country, since then called Botswana.’

Zakharova must know a lot about people in love. Smitten readers abound for some reason (seems to be more than just her looks). I was watching the incomparable and essential Dean Martin perform in one of his shows in the late 60s and they had a spoof where a French homosexual police officer knocks on the door, kisses Martin on both cheeks and spells with his mouth the words, “Love you.” Martin sits down to sing and is smiling but too distracted and tells his producer to restart the song, saying “the kiss upset me.” Today a spoof like this is unthinkable. The freedom he had disappeared without even facing any opposition to speak of. I’m pretty sure, though, that any Soviet leader from the 60s or 70s who ended up marrying a black lady would have been deposed for one reason or another.
“…giving other countries grades in democracy.” How any government thought of giving “democracy” grades to other governments is truly astonishing (“you have got to be kidding!”). Some government could start giving prizes to those who failed the test…Just like I found that business is being run in a bad – inefficient – way, where “virtue” doesn’t count in hiring and on the job (before I got fired), I find that the same can be said of politics. For example, instead of pompous and formal meetings, or in addition to them, a country like Russia should invite – now I feel too bad to mention some govts. – some other governments to a barbecue, like when Obama was invited to a meeting outside where liquor was served from a bottle. That’s the way. Give ‘em all lots of liquor. A personal relationship will be established: “How dare you give me a ‘democracy grade?’ “Who else will do it if not me?” the drunken reply would come. The next day, however, things would be much better (“let’s talk again.”). A good barbecue could save us all…
from “a boot” not “from a bottle.”
Let’s be clear.
USA has turned into a skeleton. No industrialization anymore, no real production, nothing else then financial world and military world.
Since 2008, the financial world is trembling and after these last years of social heavy problems linked to fandemic and Ukraine affair, is just going straight into pure decadence.
So what’s left?
The military world.
So Usa at the moment is just a military power without anything else. Socially devastated by polarizations. Economically devastated by lack of industrial production.
So Usa has just a chance to survive: to use its military power to stop Russia/China taking over hegemony of economy and production.
It’s easy so to understand that the Ukraine affair has been moved by Usa to reach a miltary confrontation against Russia first and then China.
And since they own the western propaganda machine, all has been turned into a cultural crusade of the civilized anglosaxons elite against the evil barbarians.
Propaganda has not worked as I can attest living in the west. Just a few idiotics dem libs believe in that, maybe a quarter of European population.
Using Ukraine against Russia didn’t work either, as it’s clear Russia is winning all the way using a fraction of its military power.
So it’s quite clear we are heading to a straight Usa-Russia war.
Usa has no other option since it’s losing the financial dollar hegemony and it has nothing else then military power.
And I tell you, the financial elite ruling Usa is crazy enough and enough detached from reality to choose a straight confrontation against Russia.
The only chance to avoid that is Europe becoming conscious of the big danger and detach from Usa to get in contact with Russia and China.
But I don’t see that happening.
Europe has just failed and has no power to choose anything anymore.
Military Summary was saying the Ukies have been putting tracking devices on their abandoned equipment, then when it is taken as trophy or reuse Ukie can pinpoint shell that equipment. Caused many RF casualties. No wonder Putin said let’s get a move on.

Regarding Putin’s visit to Iran.
1. One of the main goals of the visit is to prepare for the conclusion of an agreement on strategic cooperation between Russia and Iran, in many respects identical to the one that Iran has already concluded for 25 years with China.
2. Due to objective reasons and the lack of a need for Russia to balance its position on Iran with the West, relations between Moscow and Tehran at the diplomatic and economic levels will be significantly improved in the coming years.
3. Russia, of course, will not significantly interfere with Iran from playing its nuclear card, especially since Iran has already openly declared that, if necessary, it will reach the level of uranium enrichment up to 90% within a couple of weeks, but so far it does not this in view of the continuation of negotiations on a nuclear deal. Under the current conditions, the collapse of the nuclear deal prevents the West from ensuring wider access of Iranian oil to world markets, which is beneficial for the Russian energy strategy in confrontation with the West.
4. Regarding the purchase of weapons from each other, there are no obstacles in fact for this. Iran’s official position not to supply weapons to the conflict zone may well be a subject of negotiations and a cover for unofficial contacts for the supply of Iranian reconnaissance and strike UAVs and loitering ammunition for the needs of the RF Armed Forces. Iran, in turn, is interested in the supply of modern air defense systems and fighters, which it will need if a decision is made to finalize the nuclear program and protect against attempts by Israel and the United States to strike at Iran. After the lifting of UN Security Council weapons sanctions, Russia has the right to supply Iran with any conventional weapons, and this factor is certainly used in negotiations with Israel in the context of restrictions on the supply of Israeli weapons to Ukraine (relatively speaking,
5. In general, Iran, as a strong regional power with a strategic initiative in the Middle East, is a valuable partner/ally for Russia and China in the confrontation with the Western bloc. At the same time, the current format of relations is such that partnership with Iran does not close the door for Moscow and Beijing in relations with the “dismemberer from Riyadh” and the emirates, who are now openly hostile to Washington, which was clearly manifested during Biden’s Middle East voyage.
6. No special breakthroughs are expected now in Syria, there is a mutually blocked position, which the Russian Federation is quite satisfied with at the current stage, as long as it is occupied by Ukraine. Erdogan knows about this, so he will probably again try to negotiate some concessions from Putin on the Kurdish and Karabakh issue. Despite all his intrigues, “friend Recep” continues to be a valuable companion for the Russian Federation, since with all the costs of agreements with Erdogan, he annoys the United States and the West even more at the current stage. However, in any case, it is better not to expose his back, he is too changeable.
For the Saker:
“On the night of Waters’ first show for the “This Is Not a Drill” tour, the Brooklyn Vegan reported the musician putting a message on screen before the performance reading: “If you’re one of those ‘I love Pink Floyd but I can’t stand Roger’s politics people,’ you might do well to fuck off to the bar right now.””

Do they have time to do that?
Not in Lisichansk, and other places, where obviously they dumped even their rifles, backpacks, and other equipment, and ran as fast as they could.
RF Armed Forces are already aware of all their mining, booby-traps, and other tricks. Seversk is an example of that, Ukronazis have severely mined Seversk, Allied forces have been going in slowly but surely.
They are booby-trapping everything, even their dead. Those are more treacherous than a tracking device, which are easy to find and deactivate.
