USA does not care if they win or lose battles, they just need them to maintain the employment in the military industrial complex. if this ended US economy would collapse. Offshoot of this is the robbery that goes with this in which the marines are used to help the multinational to steal resources from other countries, Add to this rebuilding what they destroy by financing and using the dollar as the medium of exchange the benefits to the US consumer are immense. US economy does not need to win wars they win by losing because they end one war and move to the next one . .

Pepe Escobar: Ukraine War is Desperate Move by Banksters to Preserve Hegemony and Prevent Multipolar World.
Until this reality is understood, they (the banksters) will continue to preserve their hegemony.
Commentators are not making the final leap of logic.
It is not the “USA” which is evil. It is not the institutions, as designed, which are evil. It is not the people who are evil. It is not even the banks which are evil.
Who here thinks that Brandon is in control of history? or Kamala Harris? or Antony Blinken? or a committee?
Why is the European leadership committing economic suicide? What for, popularity? To save the planet?
Give me a break. They are being commanded, just like the Americans.
Those entities who control the banks and the monetary system itself are the source of evil in this world
I believe the war we are witnessing is to support the monetary system which might have otherwise failed by now. It needs to grow and sometimes deficit spending by government is the only way to make it grow.
So a country of 40 million is decimated to get a bit of money creation. Now that’s what I call evil.
Imagine the mentality of those entities.
It’s bloody biblical.
I found this: https://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/allwarsarebankerwars.php we will see, who will be the strongest. The “Western World bankers” or “The Rest” of the world. I quess, that most people, also in the “combined West” should hope for “The Rest”. Just a thought.
Every subject Pepe addressed deserves a lengthy comment, however, we don’t have to space nor the time to do so.
What called my attention was his observation about the absolute ignorance in the Collective West of the geopolitical/socio-economic processes taking place in the Eurasian heartland, which can be compared to giant tsunamis caused by tectonic plates in motion.
Not a word in the West about BRICS, EEU, BRI, and all the alphabet soup of international institutions, organizations, conglomerates, crisscrossing Eurasia.
There are many reasons for the Collective West shutting the door on what the Saker calls Zone B, aka the Global South, to be more specific, on the processes redefining the international landscape. Among those reasons is the blatant intention to keep the western population blind to the revolutionary changes challenging the hegemony of the Collective West. Another reason is the traditional arrogance of the Collective West, for which the Global South is but a “jungle” vis-à-vis “the garden,” where all newsworthy events happen.
The denial to comprehend these processes at all levels, in political, military, and academic circles, speaks volumes about the Collective West goals, i.e., they don’t need to understand a reality they only intend to dominate. They have no intention whatsoever to interact with Russia, China, India, Iran, and the rest of Zone B, on a leveled field. Either these countries abide by the “rules-based order,” or they become fair game.
Cut-and-dried.
The other issue Pepe touched upon, was how strategically central was for the US to block an alliance between Russia, China, and Germany, afraid as they are of the Mackinder’s theory. As Pepe put it, it would have meant an expansion from western Europe to Vladivostok, and the empire had to break any attempt from that becoming a reality.
And if to achieve their goals, they have to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian (quarter million dead, and counting), they will do so. And if they have to engage Eurostan in a war against Russia, they will do so. Full Spectrum Dominance is what drives them, Russia and China are just one more obstacle. As a poster commented today on another article, Scholz came right on time for the empire, or, as he suspected, his election was manipulated by the US.
No matter what the US/UK/Collective West do or will do, they cannot stop the Global South geopolitical processes from unfolding into a new reality, that of a multipolar world.
One additional comment: I expect Taiwan will reserve itself peacefully in the 2024 Presidential election. The Taiwanese are not as stupidly suicidal as the Ukro-Nazis. Unless they want downtown Taipei to resemble Bakhmut today, they can figure out that it’s a lot more beneficial to stop yapping about secession. Beijing has extended Taiwan a lot of slack that’s made them quite prosperous and secure. Being pawns and cannon fodder for the sinking ex-Hegemon USA is definitely not a smart move.
I just don’t know what to make of this kind of report.
“If you want to discover the madness of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, come to Bakhmut. The battle for the city is now the longest of the war. Russia launched a large offensive to try to take it in July 2022 after it took Severodonetsk, the final major city of the Luhansk region. The truth is Russian troops are dying in their thousands here — and possibly for nothing. The UK Ministry of Defence has outlined Bakhmut’s “limited operational value”: the city’s fall would be useful, but by no means decisive, in helping Russia press further through the Donbas. The fight, therefore, has become almost symbolic. “Bakhmut holds” is now a rallying cry for Ukrainians . . . ”

What does it matter what the UK Ministry of Defense thinks about it?

“Coyote [the author’s guide] is 34 and has been fighting since the war began in 2014. His unit is Special Forces, he says. He can’t give me details about their operations, but he has two units on rotation. His main tasks are planning and special ops — taking the fight to the enemy.”
So, at least Coyote admits that there has been a war going on since 2014. Since the SMO started in 2022, Coyote must mean the war against Ukrainian citizens in the Donbass.
Coyote continues:
“Bakhmut is important to Russia because of Putin’s “populist needs”, he says. “Since February 24, the Russians have had few victories and many defeats. They need this victory; the city is close to the border and to their logistics. They cannot attack Kherson [in the south] because of the river, and in other territories on the front lines they have supply problems. Bakhmut is the only spot where theoretically they can win. But if we were to lose Bakhmut, then speaking without emotion, it would not be a strategic defeat, we’d just lose a town. But in the meantime, we tie up a large force of Russians so they cannot proceed in other areas. We buy time for other Ukrainian forces. . . . ” Etc.
As I said, I just don’t know what to make of this in light of what seems to be the true situation in the Ukraine.
Is Coyote just blowing hot air to a receptive reporter from the UK?
