The Russian government at this point is doing everything to deter NATO, and to defend the country from being attacked and destroyed by your government and others.
Look at the huge army they are gathering on our Western and South-Western borders.
If we, Russians, are all dead and our country is destroyed and territory is occupied by Germany, the UK, and the US, income disparity would become a moot point.
P.S. Mikhail Gutseriev is a banker, and an entrepreneur. He is a Doctor of Economics, and a member of the Russian Writers’ Union. He is also a poet. About 25 songs are written with his lyrics. It seems that he didn’t steal his fortune, like Khodorkovsky and many others, but made it. He is an Ingush, and they have their own tradition in regard to weddings. The wedding for them is extremely important. They gave presents to families, they buy houses for the newlyweds. They invite hundreds of people for their weddings. Note, that the wedding took place in Moscow; so he spent money in Russia. He boosted many businesses with his orders.
You know, if he decided to spend 1/6 of his fortune on his only son’s wedding, it’s his problem. Who are we to judge how much money people pay for their weddings?
Again, he didn’t run to Europe. He didn’t take his fortune with him, like many others. He is a good guy in my book.

As for “Russia is doing everything it can”: Are you sure?
What about outlawing private fortunes larger than 1 Million $ per person and nationalising the rest.
I assure you this would create a wave of euphoria all along Russia (and the world) and the current BIS/FED $-debts based money system needs to be replaced anyway (at least in Russia and China).
What about that? Then you would have enough money for the defence budget plus 20 million volunteers joining the (to be reshaped) Red Army.
Also, how can somebody that is a banker have earned his wealth? In my “book” this sounds like a joke in itself (without having taken the time to research about this man).
As for “he put “””””his””””” money back into the local economy”, well, maybe. But how many jobs has he created? How many lives rescued? There are more than anough people in many countries (including RF) that have to die because they cannot afford medical treatment. But buying some million square meters of fresh flowers is more important – fully understood. Maybe they can later be used for some graves.
