The neocons, who control Sleepy Joe Biden, are doing their best to pick a fight with Russia, looking for excuses to do so. Biden insulted Putin with his shameful accusations. Putin did not fall for these provocations, responding with dignity and gaining even more prestige in the West. I wonder if Washington DC is fully aware of the repercussions of it’s foreign policies.
From a YT contributor who uses the pseudonym “HG Tudor”, and claims to be a diagnosed high level narcissistic psychopath – and certainly sounds it, although I suspect the voice we hear is a trained actor/reader – comes the list of things a narcissist does, when their prey has realised they are in the grip of a narcissist, and is detaching, i.e. not giving the narcissist the energy supply it gets from it’s manipulations.
1. Anger – the narcissist will accuse the victim of deliberately acting to hurt/harm them
2. Smears – the narcissist will start to use friends, connections to misrepresent actions and words the prey has used, and to accuse by insinuation.
3. Increase if smears – accusations of ill intent, violence
4. Trying to “love bomb”, i.e. apologise, make friends, overtures, the narc has no intention of honouring – it’s called “hoovering” in other words, they are merely trying to draw the prey back into their clutches
5. Intense fury – rages, often physcal and damaging can ensue.
6. Extreme violence, or degeneration into despair, using silence, pity play, and venting rage on other prey.
You know, the reaction Dmitry Orlov is highlighting here seems to fit pretty well. As with an individual, so with a group of them called in this case, the Ruling Junta.
They are all in the grip of psychosis; they are all narcissistic and most are also psychopaths.
With all due respect to Dr. Paul Craig Roberts as an economist, he has not studied much West/East European history. That’s saying a mouthful because it speaks to most all Americans who are even more ignorant of the world around them.
PCR has always “hit the nail on the head” when it comes to the American Economy. It’s ruled by multi-billionaires, the military, and Big Tech. In turn, that powerhouse of scavengers, thieves, and fraudulence, PCR knows all too well.
But without some semblance of Russian, Western Europe, the UK, and the Asian history, PCR was out of order in slamming President Putin’s staff.
We have every confidence that President Putin and his immediate staff are all too wary of these US scavengers and thieves in the US.
But to be fair to PCR, he was in the Reagan administration when the crazies – the neocons -were doing their damndest to have a war and scupper any arms control agreements.
And that’s too bad for Reagan was the one who set things in motion which is/has destroyed America, his attack on unions, outsourcing of American jobs which by the way are still going on today, the destruction of the middle class, his choice to head the high court who promptly set about destroying religion ushering in the gay right movement saying that they the high court were determined to bring the country into the 21st century, I wonder if PCR saw that at the time when he was serving the one who destroyed the country.
Rubicon
Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is an excellent analysts, especially when it comes to economics and Western policies. However, he has one weakness. He is not too familiar with Russia’s internal situation nor with the workings of the Russian Government and the mentality of Russians as a whole. He thus makes exaggerations when it comes to Russian non-reactions vis a vis the West, underestimating Russian political moves.
The United States appear to be destined by Providence to plague America with misery in the name of liberty.(Simon Bolivars statement of 1829
Today it means not only the american continent, but the whole world.
WOW!!! Classic – the best for a long time from Mr. Putin.
The lucidity, the humour and the honesty – not even John Cleese of Rowan Atkins could better you!!
Would it be worth his while and for the Russian nation making the same statement in English – would this reach more Anglos and other poodles!!
We Anglos would probably crash-close down our side of the Internet completely and TV satellite transmissions!!!
I dunno – I apologize Mr. Putin – we Anglo-Zionists are drowning in our own cesspool of lies, disinformation and broken promises.
Большое спасибо Президенту Путину за ваше терпение, понимание и юмор

As shown in this article Congress has recently moved to change the rules surrounding the use of Authorizations for Use of Military Force or AUMFs which successive presidents since 9/11 have used as a blank check to start wars:
It is quite clear that the Biden Administration and its titular head are no different than previous administrations when it comes to dealing with the sunset years of the American empire.
This is an absolute beautiful and brilliant statement by Putin. I do not understand a word in Russian, but – with the help of the English subtitles – one clearly can understand that Putin vibrates of determination and vigour. Even if he makes a relaxed impression, he is at 150%. Really very impressive. I like the comments by former Indian diplomate Bhadrakumar Melkulangara who describes this as “a poignant moment in world politics capturing the US’ inexorable decline as a superpower”.
PS: You may think of Erdogan what you want, but I just learned that Erdogan obviously has clearly understood the point in this “match” between Biden and Putin.
”Erdogan obviously has clearly understood the point in this ’match’ between Biden and Putin.”
Right! And Erdogan should be outright scared too given the fact that he, unlike the vegetable Biden, has a functioning brain and hence understands the resolve of his foreign adversaries and that they are very much on point about him. On this basis, I suspect Erdogan soils his pants imagining a similar ’encounter’ with Bashar al-Assad or Hassan Nasrallah. The fact of the matter is that Erdogan only has the upper hand against the West in general and the Euro-trash in particular. Like Putin, Erdogan too has a very accurate sense of smell with regard to corruption, incompetence, and greed. Erdogan and Putin are both highly committed visionaries with a high working capacity, and they know it. But of course it shouldn’t obscure the fact that one of them is on the wrong side of history.
It seems to me that one problem between Erdogan and Putin/Turkey and Russia is Russia’s geostrategic need for something that Turkey controls, namely access to the med via the Bosporus and Sea of Marmara. I have read I think in Hidden History that this was the plum that was dangled in front of Tsar Nicholas’s nose to tempt him to go to war against the Central Powers+Ottomans.
When push comes to shove, isn’t it indispensable for Putin to control Erdogan and Bosporus access?
Doesn’t Erdo know this? Wouldn’t Putin maybe be just waiting for a chance to fatally weaken Turkey/Erdogan or to pull a fast one? Could this be a reason for Erdogan to stay on good terms with NATO while having occasional tantrums?
OTOH could mutual hatred of NATO be a bond between Erdo and Putin and encourage some kind of actual treaty or agreement? Like a Russia-Turkey Belt and Road?
Wouldn’t Putin like to get NATO out of Turkey, or the other way around, for once and for all?
Katherine – you are not the only one pondering the Putin-Erdogan chess game..BUT:-
a) ´´the plum that was dangled in front of Tsar Nicholas’s´´-
BINGO!! Chapters 6 to 12 deal in great detail with umpteen substantiated references regarding the Ottoman Empire & Gallipoli-Dardanelles, the Winston Churchill planned debacle that was to keep Tsar focussed on Constaninople. (Prolonging the Agony – How the Anglo-American Establishment Extended WW! by 3,5 years. 2018 ISBN 978-3-86445-656-5. Jim Macgregor & Gerry Docherty ) – both Scots not these *Elite* Oxfordian manipulated paedophilic liars..
Each chapter has a resume. Also downloadable as .pdf/text free on certain sites.
b) US/NATO/Israel are continually improving a large naval/missile !!! and electronic listening devices and what-have you base at Alexandroupolis on the Greek border just kilometres from the Erdogan border and directly opposite Straits of Dardanelles.. most convenient..Winston Churchill would be wetting himself with joy!!! (Voltairenet.org in Froggo but Anglo available..)
c) From a technical viewpoint, It has been reported by a (reliable!!!) contributor here that having the installed Russian S-400 missile system in Turkey actually improves the Radar Range at certain levels into NATO territory for the RUSSIAN based national radar defences. Back-doors are the name of the game for everyone…
d) Reported that IMF, ECB, Uncle SOROS and who-knows-else, are pumping *jelly beans* into Turkey (and Greece..) to keep the country ticking over. Apparently on the streets of Istanbul and among conscripts Pasha Erdogan is increasingly unpopular. Mr. Putin has saved Pasha Erdogan´s neck at least once in 2018 (!!!) – perhaps a known and partly decoded vindictive virus is better than an unknown!!!
Erdogan is again making conciliatory squeaks towards occupied Israel-Palestine – to Mrs Netanyahu or Mr. Bibi remains to be seen…
Finally, like the USA, NATO is also slowly and painfully imploding from their own corruption, lies and bullshit.
The Russians and Chinese have booked ring seats for the show-down…
Turkey and Erdogan are both an asset and liability for Russia. In this context, they play mostly a balancing role in the region and in the confrontation against NATO and Russia uses that. For example, Turkey causes the stagnation in Syria and partially contains other forces that oppose the Syrian government. This is not a situation that would be good to remain in the long run, but currently buys time for Russia. She is positioned well and time works in her advantage. After all, the main goal here is opposing a massive nuclear-armed empire that needs to be landed carefully. The tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan inflated by Turkey, enhanced Turkey’s standing but Russia used it to considerably increase their influence and presence in that generally unstable region. That’s a great win for Russia in the long run. The Turkish struggles in the Eastern Mediterranean provide ground for increased Russian influence there, enhanced by the Russian presence in Syria.
Erdogan is not fully nuts and understands his interests. As long as there’s business, things will be OK for Russia and Turkey. I think this will dominate the relations. The rest is important but not critical.
The Bosporus is important, even strategic. However, this importance is decreased compared to the times of Tsar Nikolai due to modern economy and the capabilities of modern military. Particularly, Russian standing in regards to this is enhanced by controlling Crimea, being present in Syria, and now building a naval base in the Red Sea.
Any full-scale war between Russia and NATO would be so brutal and justifying such use of power and destruction, that wiping out Turkey completely would be justified and would also provide control of the Bosporus. In the modern military doctrines and standing, the military strategic value of the Bosporus is diminished. It’s terrible but that’s part of the ugliness of our times. Destructive power is something to reckon with.
Turkey in many ways is a torn in the eyes of NATO. That by itself makes them relevant for Russia.
A few years back Putin saved Erdogan’s life, so I think he understands well that USA will try again. They failed to kill Castro 70 times. They failed to kill Erdogan once they will try again.
Yes, poetic. It reminded me very much of Nietzsche:
Cast your pure eyes into the well of my pleasure, friends! How should that make it muddy? It shall laugh back at you in its own purity….
Verily, a strong wind is Zarathustra for all who are low; and this counsel he gives to all his enemies and all who spit and spew: ”Beware of spitting against the wind!(hütet euch gegen den Wind zu speien!)”
(Also sprach Zarathustra. Vom Gesindel)
Putin mentioned Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He could have mentioned too the use of uranium-depleted ammo against civilians in Serbia, Iraq (other countries?). The bombings and burning of about 100 0000 civilians in Dresden when Germany was already defeated.
And bio warfare in Korea, Napalm and other atrocity in Vietnam and on other place. The list is long. And Biden has much more blood on his hands then Putin. He was vice president of a government of war criminals at least in Libya and Syria. In a “normal” World he should be in la Hague.
To keep the thing short he had to made a choice as to waht to highlight. It would have been a mistake to say more and read out a list.
Everyone has heard of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
And the Native American genocide has good playing power.
So, Putin was right to stick to examples that are historically established and no longer “recent history.”
Sure, he was straight to the point as always. Even though I guess it would be good if some world leader speak very clear about the US – actually its criminal leaders – was never appeared in any international court despite its well known list of war crimes.
Yes.
Same true of Israel, of course.
The two biggest bullies and genocidaires get a pass.
While namecalling others.
And in the USA we creep ever closer to full-blown dystopia every day as the population suffers.
Really stinks.
Just mentioning a most controversial topic regarding Anglo-Zionist military hardware and BOMBS:
Voltairenet.org 04 March, 2021 has again brought up the unsettled question of the Beirut 2020 bomb/bombing/fertilizer explosion etc.,
Les fausses pistes de l’explosion du port de Beyrouth – The False Paths of the Explosion at the Port of Beirut. https://www.voltairenet.org/article212368.html
Voltairenet steadfastly maintains that aircraft/drones were visible and at least 2 different types of explosion were reported in quick succession.
Voila!! C*est tout.. that*s it. Bon weekend tout le monde!!
Yes, President Putin has hit the nail directly on the head. In US statements about countries it seeks to destroy, it always says that those countries are doing exactly what the US is doing toward them – being aggressive, deceitful, etc. It’s always delightful when those countries are able to tell the truth about this situation, because here in the US, there are only lies in the media about our relations with those we consider our enemies (countries that don’t obey our dictates).
Patrick
The U.S is the only country in the history of the world to have used nuclear weapons, a crime against humanity that will never be wiped from history as long as man continues to walk the earth.
The psychos in Washington must be foaming at the mouth to send nukes Russias way to rid the planet of their nemisis.
How painful it must be for the Washington psychos, knowing it’s unachievable destroying Russia, without their own demise in the process.
The irony in the sad Biden interview is, it initiated a cool classy and historical response from Putin, one which must be making the Washington psychos even more furious than prior Bumbling Bidens interview…such a cruel world
What a normal person sees when watching this video: a civilised, nuanced response.
What the Amerikastani establishment’s media prostitutes are paid to see: Evil Russian Dictator Threatens America (Because he Hates America’s Freedoms).
So this speech will have no positive effect at all.
For humans, this speech will have a tremendous effect. It makes so clear, where the insanity reign and where is the rise of a future christian culture.
The problem is that speeches like that are never shown to the people of the west. I recall many years ago watching a speech by Mr Putin for the first time on an alternative news source, both his words (the English subtitles) and his demeanor struck me. The depth of this words were something I had never seen or heard before from any leader… this is an intelligent man with a great sense of decency, honesty and honour. In contrast, the gutter language/composure/thinking/behaviour/lies of the politicians in the western world leave me with disgust, however this is the norm that most were raised and trained with. If the MSM watching people in the west were to see and hear Mr Putin, it would wake them up that there is something different in the world – but that cannot be allowed to happen at any cost. All I see in MSM news here is an image/video of him, but the reporter suggesting had bad and evil he is. This will continue and likely get worse. They only way out is to take initiative and go and seek further information, but sadly many still will do no such thing.
Admittedly, the system of mind control that has been implemented in the west is quite brilliant. Pure evil, but very effective. Only the best of humanity are able to educate themselves out of it.
Your commentary is excellent and every word you wrote reminded me of the Cuban missile Crisis. Kruschev wrote to Kennedy. The letter was only recently made available, through the internet but the American public never saw this. Kruschevs letter showed him to be a decent moral man. The reality was that Kruschev was in the right. It took 70 years for a chief negotiator on the US side, to confess that Kruschev had been in the right all along and that indeed the US had stationed nuclear weapons in Incirlik, which had been the natural trigger for the Russians to respond with placing nuclear weapons on Cuba. The Kennedys twisted the outcome to make it look as if the Russians were backing down and needed some face-saving…when in reality it had been the US side that started this crisis and covered up its own malevolence with the US media helping the process instead of exposing the lies coming from the White House.
Nice to see how the Biden administration works together with Putin, as if they have the same bosses. How professional the ball is thrown at Putin’s volley to increase his lost popularity. One more joint work of international services on their way to global NWO. Multipolar :)).
It already has very positive effects
It’s enough to read around the world the comments on this
Putin said in a very polite way F. Y. to the west
And millions loving it
Will there be a war?
Maybe but the situation as it is can’t continue
I really like this man. I only hope that he will find his successor. This is a “must” for him and Russia.
After covid farce Russia is now probably one of the most free countries in the world.
The only thing Putin doesn’t understand is that Black Lives Matter is not an organization genuinely dedicated to the quality of life of the African American. It is using that moniker as a front for disruption — BLM doesn’t care about African Americans. However, he could have stated many of the Native American organizations instead, making the same point.
Actually, I believe he understands this very well. He knows that despite the current US leadership paying lip service to this movement by kneeling, etc., it remains a source of domestic tension and division, in other words a weakness. The establishment cannot denounce Putin’s assertion regarding this without losing political face, which means they must accept his statement re: the historical injustices which were involved in the founding of the US. Putin is deftly poking a sore spot here.
War would appear to be inevitable now. Probably best to just get on with it. The American abomination must be put down for the good of all. It was always bound to end like this.
What a gentleman! Putin has morale, intellect, logic, soul and a heart. He knows who he is and what he represents (his country). He has the moral high ground by a million miles, compared to the vegetable in Washington.
This response is epic and will go into the history books. Thanks for posting it.
@ roughly 1:55 + VVP says (translation) [of the American people] “most of them are honest, decent and sincere people, whо want to live with us in peace and friendship. We know about this and value this, and we will to rely on them in the future.”
I want to think about the implications. Deagle speaks of Russia (after 2025 and before 2030 doing a massive military attack on the US. Of course real war can happen any time…
But when he says “we will rely on them in the future” the implication is that any rough stuff would be focused. It also implies that the Russians expect the US to capitulate, and reorganize with “foreign” help.
Well, that’s what happened to Berlin… in 1942 what German nazi would have expected the Red Star on the roof in 1945?
“Texas”, a difficult character in Donbass, once said that the only way he’d visit the US again was in a Russian APC. He’s 60. Might happen…
Any delusions VVP might have had are obviously gone…and his office was Stalin’s office…
Although I am not American, I appreciated this shout out to the “common man”. It adds humanistic nuance to the “us vs them” rhetoric, and makes explicit who is considered the real obstacle to peace and cooperation.
But when he says “we will rely on them in the future” the implication is that any rough stuff would be focused. It also implies that the Russians expect the US to capitulate, and reorganize with “foreign” help.
I noticed the statement “we will rely on them in the future,” also.
As an American, I often think that the US is headed towards a “Soviet Union moment.” Things here are just so completely dysfunctional that I wonder how much longer it can go on.
The country has broken up into tribes. The ethos is “everyone for themselves.” Communities, families and just about every relational network imaginable have been shattered. Everyone is obese and unhealthy. Prices are absolutely going through the roof while the government claims that there is no inflation. Most of the nation’s assets have been swept into the hands of a few oligarchs. Censorship is everywhere. It is increasingly difficult to get even the simplest things accomplished. And the people running the country seem oblivious to the whole thing.
Perhaps Putin is so reserved since he understands what is happening in America better than Biden himself.
Imperial Russia “interfered” in US politics in a major way when the Russian fleets protected both US coast from (mostly) British re-colonization in the US Civil War (Number X…the one 1860-1865 which ended with the Brit intelop that knocked off Lincoln and put in a racist fink)
One assumes that this act, the Imperial Fleet action, was for political purposes in Europe, (Heartland) that benefited Russia. States are not saints.
Yes, just now China and Rus are together… but unless the US, fragmented or not, comes to rational and peaceful co-existence with China and Russia, and gives up the Empire, China will naturally subsume Russia in the fullness of Time. There are simply too many forces at play to prevent this, without the alliance of Rus and US and China—in the three party stability Elliot Roosevelt wrote of…which was also prevented by the death of a US president…
Withal, for global stability and peace it is essential for Russia to have a health state of affairs in, and cordial relations with, whatever States may exist in the territory of USA.
People say Putin plays long game. People say China plays long game. I agree.
Ruskie APCs on west coast highways? Maybe. Or maybe Chinese…
You are probably right. But the US will not seek peace with Russia and China. The US and Europe are ruled by powerful families (the Davos Crowd) who believe that they are destined to rule the world in some form of Techno-Feudalism.
Is that delusional?
Of course it is.
But these privileged families are living in echo chambers of their own making.
They don’t understand what is going on around them. And they will not understand what is going on around them until it is too late.
Yes, it is so, a few “families” rule… But it’s is a long game, and they’re already lost. They’ve had centuries
It might be seen as an example of “Marxist hysteresis”, or what we call latency.
Recall the roadrunner coyote, who dashes into the abyss but falls only after he looks down.
They are going to look down, and then fall. One might say the VVP has pointed out the abyss and that they are afraid to “look down”.
Meantime, they’re paralyzed with fear and hubristic ambition, as you say, delusional, blind.
So far as seeking peace by US, I assume that as the “Panarin-dissolution” and fragmentation continues, several of the governors will ask for humanitarian assistance and that their requests will amount to surrender…whether the “families” are alive at that time is yet to be seen…but they would probably run away as did so many nazis in the late 1940’s.
Imagine a totally ineffective federal government awash with worthless dollars, unable to keep the “several states” in line. As governor you have to deal with payroll, pensions, debts, and keeping courts and cops on the job…and you can’t. (Is this not already true?)
What, then, must you do?
I think that’s what VVP has in mind. This is no longer even a simulacrum of the US. It’s already a failed state, as they say.
The way we discuss such possibilities is to say that “The Western Conference of Governors of Washington, Oregon, and Jefferson petition the UN to supervise a referendum of secession and request for assistance.” some time about 2025. And the Russians then send peace-keepers and aid in the form of emergency food and medical and legal support. This contingent would include MPs and possibly guys like this guy: https://youtu.be/e-8m5YHt__4
The thalassocracies such as Spain and England and the US have had some 500 years of the ability to rule Heartland by interdiction of trade and preventing unification of Heartland. This has ended.
Now the globe is ruled by tellurocracies; China and Russia.
As for the nazis in late ’43, the writing’s on the wall.
Well thank you Mr. P. for the very poignant comment!
You have a northern blush to your thought patterns, and remind me of the writings of a particular Matthew.
I seek minor clarification:
the “Panarin-dissolution”
, is this a hockey-related national discrimination reference?
Or other, please provide clarifying details?
When Putin wishes Biden good health, in the context of what happened, it’s also including mental health. Putin expresses sincerely that he is concerned about the health – also mental health – of the man he know well and is sinking so deep morally.
Brillant and the words of a leader and human, who is a christian, who respect his enemy as human, even if he is insane and attack him personally in a silly way. Putin seems not angry but express some pity for the man he know. But not without pointing out, in a truly diplomatic way, who is here the criminal…
I also think, that Putin completely realize how week his enemy is to act so much childish like this.
We can only hope, that this insane person in the White House and the ones behind him leaves the geopolitical world stage with doing the less harm as possible. With Putin there is as it ever was, a chance that unnecessary harm can be avoided. Putin don’t want war. I think he is aware, that the US imperium will sink anyway and perhaps faster without war. And possibly his enemy knows it also and are freaking out as childish people do when they know they are cornered and weak.
I think that China, Russia and Iran all have to do the same thing. They have to re-orient trade and international relations away from the United States (and Britain) and towards other nations. In dealing with those other nations, China, Russia and Iran must establish themselves as consistent, reliable international partners.
The more that China, Russia and Iran do this, the more other nations will reciprocate. And if enough of the world follows this course, the United States will become isolated. They will then be forced to renounce lawless behavior and move towards a regimen of civilized conduct in international affairs. Either that – civilized conduct – or they will find themselves relegated to being outcasts.
the power relations in the USA must change for such change to be realized. the current powers that be wont do any such thing as described above.
if the world isolates the USA the current powers are more likely to go crazy and blow the planet, rather than accept the new way in which they are no longer dominant. that in the event, is surely a possibility.
the rise of progressive politics in the USA and the change of elites seems a prerequisite for American acceptance and adjustment to such new world reality.
I see little such indication of such parties in the current mix, but things can change quickly. and there are bound to be such people available to organize and lead for progressive change. maybe as things worsen to extremities…
Ben, I agree that there is a real problem that the people running the US – once it becomes clear that they are losing their bid for world domination – might very well blow up the planet.
That threat is quite real.
But the media in the United States is controlled by the oligarchy. They – in conjunction with the government and the Republicrats – will never allow a reform movement to arise.
It will not happen.
On the other hand, something has to be done.
It is only a matter of time – when sanctions fail – that the US will start blowing things up. Maybe blowing up the Nordstream pipeline or sinking ships carrying oil shipments to China or something equally crazy.
The situation is getting worse and worse and many nations now know that the US is getting completely out of control.
They are ready for change.
The option of isolating the United States is fraught with danger but doing nothing is fraught with danger as well.
mike from New Jersey: What does Governor Ron De Santis of Florida represent –
could he be an example of developing progressive politics we may both have in mind?
The safety of Ron DeSantis appears it ought to be a point of concern for all of us.
The recent death of John Magufuli of Tanzania, and his counterpart of Burundi earlier, comes to mind
however the emergence DeSantis appears to be significant at this point
The key is the dollar. Take away its reserve currency status and the US would crumble literally overnight. It’s literally the only thing holding the whole fantasy together at this point. The good news? Debt jubilees for everyone. The bad? Your money is now worthless and the food, services, and other commodities deliveries you count on to stay alive all stop overnight as well. Welcome to the third world US, the shoe’s on the other foot now! Fun times just ahead!
You make a very good point. End reserve currency status and it means “no more imports.” Since the US deindustrialized, “no more imports” would end the empire in a second.
The Chinese Shanghai Oil Exchange was an attempt to attack the American Reserve Currency Status. The Russian alternative to Swift is another attempt to weaken dollar hegemony. The United States, itself, by weaponizing the dollar is contributing to its eventually downfall. The end of reserve currency status is inevitable but no one knows exactly when.
Pending that, Russia, China and Iran have to do something. And I think to increasingly isolate the United States is the only safe tactic at this point.
Yet another attempt by Russia to communicate with Washington. Will they listen? The bottom line is whether Biden will continue the policy of attempting to weaken Russia, or instead accept that there are some countries, like Russia, that are peers, and the U.S. needs to live with this situation.
This is once again irrefutable proof of why the West is obsessed by Russophobia — when Russia has strong, perspicacious leaders such as Stalin and Putin, the West along with its entire fabric of society can be seen for the total rubbish it is. By the way, here is a quite amusing outburst from one of these infallible ultra-super-duper-revolutionaries characteristic of the Western imperialist countries:
Russia’s current oligarch-capitalist restoration is not much of a future either for the working class there which needs to rebuild the fight to re-establish proletarian dictatorship just as workers do throughout capitalism.
Not a jot of support should be offered to the idiot Vladimir Putin.
I think our anti-Putin fellows around here should be inspired accordingly 😄
The problem for Russia & Putin is the US relations by Russia are being determined by the shadowy swine in the EU who pull all the strings and are running Biden and others (GOP RINOs) who are not acting in US interests but their own.
The US does not have its own exclusive foreign policy – and hasnt had since about 1870-90 when they let the EU moneychangers in.
The US must divorce itself from them otherwise it will not be able to move forward.
Its a very dangerous situation all this war talk from Biden who is being feed it by his EU masters.
Russia must be ready to target the villains in the EU pulling the strings – many of whom reside in Switzerland.
——————– Yandex translate from Mod:-
I’m sorry if I answer you in Italian but I’m not able to do it in English.I note that offending the heads of state of other countries is typical on its part (SW swine in the EU…).I think it is rather the US that does not want to give up the bone here in Europe,we are many who would like to see your country’s military bases emptied from our continent.I am not talking about my country as a marginal country in Europe, but you really believe that a rich and powerful country like Germany will be subjected so with impunity to the diktats of your politicians §% & ç , what if it wasn’t somehow threatened by something already living inside it? On Switzerland, however, I agree,in wartime the word “neutral ” is a joke.
Alessandro Milito,
You need to understand those US bases etc in Europe are there on the behest of the EU elites who don’t want pay for their own force which also they don’t trust (eg German elites dont trust the German Army – after events like aka July 1944 plot).
And yes the US forces should be turfed out but US defense contractors in the US are making a $ out of them being there also so that another reason.
Yes and most the looting of WW2 from Europe and Russia was funneled thru Switzerland. Its nest of thieves there and has been since Templar times for a 1000yrs.
But Italy is one of more credible EU countries and should exit.
He is really putting distance between the West and Russia: “we have a different genetic, cultural and moral code”
I agree with the cultural and moral part. Genetically, however, I suspect there is little difference between the Caucasian Russians and Europeans & Americans of European descent so it’s interesting he added that in his speech…I guess it’s his way of saying we have absolutely nothing in common with the West.
Serbian Girl
You wish good health to someone who need it , who is not well .
Putin gracefully implied : It is obvious that you Biden are sick , and we wish
you to recover soon -as a human being and specially as the President of USA .
Biden must have some moments of feeling of déjà vu which he quickly forgets . Those around him will use this to create new realities which wont end well. Trump lacked understanding of world history, but he was not demented. American Media treated him as demented, but they will never do that to Biden because they will use Biden’s dementia for their own benefit.
One of the most powerful – and unscripted – statements I’ve ever heard from a true statesman. It could not have been any clearer. As another commenter pointed out, drawing the distinction between American people and their leaders, and the remark that Russia will rely on the former in the future was loaded with meaning. Yes, Russia can wipe the USA off the face of the earth should it choose; but I don’t think it will come to that. A simple one page request for unilateral surrender is all that is needed. And I expect the military to take control and capitulate knowing they stand no chance.
To me the main takeaway of this address/chat is that after wishing “Good health” to Biden, he totally bypasses him in the rest of the talk.
He is talking to the Deep State/Politburo, which he knows is calling the shols.
After the quick synopses of American history and the “projection” dynamic, he very strongly implies that the genocidal impulse is still the :”American Way” of problem solving. And with a nice smile he informs the American Politburo: Not this time around, boys. We know how to identify our interests, pursue our interests, and no amount of sanctions, insults etc. are going to stop us. Do you copy?
I think this whole chat is directed toward the DC Politburo.
To the extent that there is a Struggle of the Titans going on offstage in DC/Wall Street or wherever, the various factions have been put on notice as to what to expect from Russia. They can be smart and get with the “Let’s get along” program, or they can be stupid and continue the sabre rattling and name calling. There may well be those who see a more profitable long game to be played with Russia, than the short game of trying to kill the goose to get the golden eggs and getting DC, NY, and LA blown to bits for their trouble, or maybe Kiev (at which point the American people will also have a choice as whether they stick with their dumbass leaders, or decide to get along with the Russkies).
If this sows division among the Mafiosi, so much the better, of course.
From the moment Biden (m)uttered the words, a large scale informational war disaster was initiated by the administration.
There are so many ways in which this will hasten the collapse of the Empire, both Russian, and Chinese must be awestruck with the inconceivable show of weakness and poor judgement, at the same time they are certainly examining all the ways this may be used to contain the empire!
For those who recall my previous posts where I called for the election of Biden and his elevation to high office on the basis that such a situation would be the shortest way for the US empire to dissolve.
Trump was a wildcard who had the possibility to lengthen the process and perhaps mitigate the circumstances.
My considerations are now maturing as the factions in the US (military/business) are begining to separate as political leadership ceases to exist.
History teaches us that such a situation is not sustainable. History also tells us what will happen next.
…factions in the US (military/business) are beginning to separate…
is incorrect.
What we are actually seeing is very large business (mega transnational (especially consumer informational/communications) information technology) effectively taking over the governance agencies, and retaining full and dramatically extended integration with intelligence agencies and Pentagon, and thus mega/large transnational arms manufacturers.
This represents the absorption of informational warfare capability into the transnational military-industrial complex, so that it now includes AI perception management capability.
Fascism, real fascism.
There is no consolation that the legacy nation state entity of the (so-called) United States of America is crashing into collapse, since the last of its life-energy is being sucked out of it, to give rise to the new geographically global trans-national political entity, based on a model of successful millennia-running ideological collective.
The collapse of the so-called United States of America, will not in fact enable a rebuilding, as it was so, somewhat miraculously, under Putin, that window is gone! And the difference is the new, level-of-magnitude increase in perception management capability, and the near total penetration into the U.S.A. and in-fact the entire so-called Western world, the new perception management capabilitywill be used, as it is now fully weaponized and tested (COVID/Biden 2020 presidential election), to manipulate and undermine the domestic population, wherever the particular domestic is geographically (see Zone A – /zone-b-exists-thus-there-is-hope-i-promise-you/).
While Zone B nation state leaders seem to currently have an edge in integrity at the moment, it is partially foreseeable that the destructive capability advantages to the perception-management trans-national state will necessitate similar control systems on the remaining sovereign nation states, and that they will have to enter into closer and closer alignment, to contain the aggressive, psychotic trans-national perception-management state.
We have no historical guide for what happens moving forward, beyond inspired science fiction novelists.
I think the term many of us are looking for is ‘nailed to a cross’, ‘hoist on your own petard’, ‘shot yourself in the foot’. Having heard and read what President Biden said, and having heard and clearly understood what President Putin said, in essence President Putin politely shoved Biden’s words right up his giggy.
Relations are deteriorating at an accelerating pace. The fact that the Russian Ambassador to USA was ‘recalled’ for ‘consultations’ says reams, reality is there is a crisis with international relations between the two strongest powers on this rock we call home spiraling down at an ever increasing pace. This is not good by any stretch of the imagination and President Putin very clearly said ‘we know how to defend ourselves’. This in and of itself is a very telling phrase and since I have few doubts that President Putin is privy to far more informations than I have, I can understand why today, and it is publik information, the entire submarine contingent of the Russian Black Sea Flot sailed out of harbor early this morning. I do not know, and if I did know I would never say, what other units have sailed or have gone on a war footing, but my opinion is relations are pretty much a rock bottom and with the orcs gathered and ready to attack Novorossiya, in direct and incontrovertible violation of Minsk 1 and Minsk 2, I will not be surprised to see heavy fighting commence on the demarcation line of Novorossiya.
Mother Russia will not allow the slaughter of the civilians in Novorossiya and while she may not attack directly, I’m sure there will be the needed numbers of volunteer ‘polite young men in green’ to address the situation. This will bring blood curdling screams from Foggy Bottom and the result may well be the open, not de facto as now but open, participation of ‘nato’, read US, troops in the fighting. If that event comes to pass the gloves will be off and who knows where it will end. I surely don’t, but I will say we, our little family, are a ready as possible. What will be will be and I have no doubts that Mother will prevail in the end, whether me and mine survive or not. We live on ‘ground zero’ and any attack by SehSha will be on us first, as a point of honor SehSha will flood our peaceful little village on the Sea with hordes of cruise missiles since we, the locals, prevented SehSha from taking our city and harbor and setting up American Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. However, to show the local patriotism and strong will, a little quote from ‘Incident On Simonka’:
Annya Dmitrovna to a US Marine prisoner lying trussed up on the floor after the rough pounce: “You believed your own propaganda about us? Know this, Marine. We will fight you, if needs be we will fight you alone and to the death. You may take this city but what you will get is a smoking ruin where we will fight you for every house, every cottage, every wall, every back alley, every window, every hill, every ditch and every dacha garden. You will be safe nowhere. Sevastopol will be your grave, Marine, you and all of your comrades, it will make Stalingrad look like a kindergarten tea party.” For ‘Sevastopol’, substitute ‘Russia’.
Never The Last One, ebook edition. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZGCY8KK A deep look in to Russia, her culture and her Armed Forces, in essence a look at the emergence of Russian Federation.
Apart from small covert operation by special forces (similar to events from few years back), I doubt US/NATO forces would play any larger role in possible full renewal of conflict in Donbass.
Risk of hundreds / thousands of bodybags flying back to US and EU that would cause internal backclahses is too high. Who is crazy do die for ukronazi retards?
Since May of 2014 numerous foreign soldiers have been captured, especially in the various cauldron battles wherein the orcs got spanked big time. Always before these capture Golden Pheasants were quietly returned to the orc lines. Not this time, any captured either intact, wounded or dead will be shown publicly and ID’d as to who they are, what they are and where the met their fate. IOW the gloves will come off and reality will be shown to The World, and it will be up to Foggy Bottom, Britland, the Land of Poles and Germany to explain why their serving soldiers were captured in a civil war in Orcland. For instance, in the Debaltsyevo Cauldron debacle the American special forces troops were allowed to evacuate with the first of the orcs but they were only allowed to take their personal weapon and one backpack. They went out on the first couple trucks during the orc evacuation of the cauldron.
Orcs had the same deal, personal weapon and one backpack but everything else right down to field kitchens, ammo dumps, all weapons, all electronic devices and fighting vehicles were to be left in place. After the first two small columns of trucks were allowed to pass through NAF lines the orcs got stupud and tried to take everything with them in direct and flagrant violation of the agreement. And the slaughter was on.
It was very appropriate that Putin mentioned Hiroshima and Nagasaki this time. Good
illustration of “American Mind” is disturbing “The Tibbets Story”.The commander of
the B-29 plane that dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima,
P.W.Tibbets has died 2007. at the age of 92. in his home in Columbus ,Ohio.
In March 2005. he stated “If you give me the same circumstances , I’d do it again.
In his memoir “The Tibbets Story” he told of “the awesome sight that met our eyes as
we turned for a heading that would take us alongside the burning , devastating city”.
What kind of mind can find awesome – burning , devastating city ????
American mind ? !
Then he said : “ I have been convinced that we saved more lives then we took “
American calculated Humanism at its best !
His conclusion: “ There is no morality in the war.”
Sanctions of Morality applies only to the enemy (War crime Tribunal) , not to USA
and his allies .
American mind did not change . The only answer is to be able to resist , like Russia
and other few independent states .
While we’re on the subject of murder we might as well throw in a few more details to round out the historical picture. In response to America’s rumpus room executive assertion to the effect that the president of Russia lacks a soul and is infamous as a murderer, Putin reminded the world that the American republic was founded on the genocide of it’s aboriginal population and was built in substantial part on the back of a cruel slavery, the effects of which persist to this day. A good start. But let’s keep going. During the Second World War, which America joined for reasons that had little to do with Pearl Harbour, the main effort in Europe was the bombing of German cities. Aside from a few comparatively minor engagements in North Africa and subsequently Italy, both the Americans and the Brits did not venture to fight the German military until the Red Army had already defeated them in the field. Only then did they attack. Or I should say only then did they attack the men, since they’d been attacking the women and children by day (USAAF) and night (RAF) all along.
There’s a difference between limited wars and total wars. In limited warfare military operations are limited to the opposing armies and efforts are made to leave the civilians out of things. This is the humanitarian aim that has long been enshrined in the protocols of the Westphalian state system and, we should note, a major plank in the epithet of ‘civilisation’ for Europe as a whole. Total wars mean two things. One, totalising policies seek to justify the total mobilisation of all assets, human and material, towards the prosecution of war. Two, it entails a policy of genocide essentially. The aim is not just the fight against and defeat of the enemies military forces, but the killing of civilians as well. So there’s a difference between war against ‘the Third Reich’ and ‘Germany’. The Reich was a political and military structure. Fair game. But Germany is a people, a population. Bombing cities means bombing women, children, the aged, etc. It is mass murder. And, as repeatedly proven by focused studies, this murderous policy seldom contributes to strategic aims. It’s just murder. But they called it ‘area bombing’, as they do. The same policy was conducted against Japan, although in the Pacific the American navy fought a real war against their Japanese peers. But still, the aim of bombing cities was to cause firestorms and thus kill as many people as possible. Next there was Korea, same deal. The bombers destroyed every single building in North Korea. Curtis Lemay estimated that his pilots killed about 20% or more of the population. Vietnam. The massacre at Mai Lai was not an exception to the rule. It WAS the rule. Entire villages of people massacred. And all the while during the Cold War the targeting of Russian and Chinese cities was the norm. Genocide is the idea. General Curtis Lemay summed it up when he said: ‘War is about killing people. Kill enough of them and they surrender’. That’s not true and one could go on at length to demonstrate the falsity of this statement. But Lemay spoke with authority for American policy. That’s what they really do. If you’re a rational person the historical record can’t possibly sit easily with the incessant assertions about America being the leading ‘moral power’ and guardian of the ‘rules based international order’. But Americans are just fine with this. And Europeans to. When people surrender their principles they become corrupted like the Americans and Europeans. They become spiritually worthless and contemptible.
@Kevin Frost: “Aside from a few comparatively minor engagements in North Africa and subsequently Italy, both the Americans and the Brits did not venture to fight the German military until the Red Army had already defeated them in the field. Only then did they attack. Or I should say only then did they attack the men, since they’d been attacking the women and children by day (USAAF) and night (RAF) all along….The Reich was a political and military structure. Fair game. But Germany is a people, a population. Bombing cities means bombing women, children, the aged, etc. It is mass murder. And, as repeatedly proven by focused studies, this murderous policy seldom contributes to strategic aims.”
Reminds me of the film “Dam Busters” which came out in my student days with a special Dam Busters march on the radio. The film was very popular, and we engineering students were discussing it, especially the ingenuity behind Barnes’s bouncing bombs. An adult in the Lab (a water engineer) gently told us youngsters the same thing as Frost reminds readers above: attacks on civilians and infrastructure seldom contribute to military victory.
I must confess that I also approved of dropping the atomic bomb on Japan, was only sorry that it arrived too late to use it on Germany, and wanted the British government to drop one on Egypt in revenge for them stealing our Suez canal.
The disadvantages of old age are somewhat offset by being given an opportunity to learn what an idiot one used to be. With this in mind, may I too wish good health and long life to the POTUS.
It is said by some historians and experts that the “dam-buster” attacks had the effect of murdering mostly Russian ladies being held as laborers – 900 comes to mind. There was no significant effect on nazi industry.
Alperovitz (The Decision to Use the Atomic Bomb) quotes Groves in march of ’44 saying that “the bomb is for Russia”… Like Dresden, the bombs were used to “make Russia pliable”. Truman threatened USSR with atomic attack in Iran… (a form of use).
Typically, the bomb tactic failed. The result was, as the boffins predicted, an arms race and cold (and hot) wars.
In a sense, the bomb destroyed America, and made the doomed empire.
O-oh. Putin is mad. He is seething, but characteristically self-controlled.
He has just been accused by the Catholic Biden as having no soul, and we can extrapolate this as meaning the Russian people have no soul. This is a damnable insult.
In this war of propaganda this insult is a nuclear bomb, and Putin verbally retaliates with the facts of U.S. nuclear bomb dropping in Japan.
And he alludes to a different kind of DNA for the Russian people. They have an “innate” ability to be more discriminating in their perceptions than their American counterparts. He is both nuancing and laying it “on the line”.
Unfortunately the differences are becoming insurmountable. I think Mr Putin has reached this conclusion and is rattled, as many of us are. The Biden administration has tin ears. It is in their DNA.
It is really a very oddly ill-considered (plus dumb, of course) thing for Biden to say—that Putin has no soul. Really a terrible thing to say. Or even think of saying.
I suppose Biden—and his staff—are unaware that Russia has a significant cathedral- and church-building program under way.
Putin recites the childhood saying “кто как обзывается, тот так и называется” which the subtitles nicely translate as “whatever you say about others is what you are yourself.” It’s sad that the whole western press has translated Putin’s statement as: “It takes one to know one.” Perhaps it is the closest English language saying to the Russian saying, but that doesn’t make it an acceptable translation. If in reply to being called a killer someone answers “it takes one to know one”, he is admitting he is a killer. Readers of the western press eat that image up: Putin such a cool killer that he admits it. It’s not what Putin said; it’s not what Putin meant; if westerners need such images let them watch “westerns” or other dystopian extravaganzas.
Dennis, thanks for that explanation. Of course our anti-Russian MSM will exploit the incorrect approximation “It takes a killer to know a killer” rather than give the correct translation ““whatever you say about others is what you are yourself.”
Exactly my conclusion as well. ’It takes one to know one’ is a rather ugly mistranslation. The Swedish news broadcast thankfully translated Putin’s words with the humorous proverb ”Den som sa’re, han va’re”, which — literally —means ”Who said it, he did it”. The cheeky rhyme in Swedish is particularly appropriate in the context of little rascals which Putin was alluding to.
Probably the closest we have in English is “He who smelt it dealt it.” The western media translation chilled me to the bone. There is a foreign (American I believe) commentator on the Japanese TV (which I am forced to watch or at least hear for about an hour a day) by the name of Dave Spectre, who has been a neocon shill for at least the past five years and hates Russia. Smarmy bustard was simply gloating (apologies to avians everywhere).
“Putin’s answer to Biden gives an opportunity to exercise a little in Russian. Putin said, as a kind of joke, that kids in his childhood used the following childish saying: “Kto tak obzyvayetsya, tot sam tak nazyvaetsya”. It means that if somebody calls another person badly, then she/he is called the same way [actually, the epithet applies to the speaker only–projection–Ka]. American mass media gave intentionally a wrong translation: “It takes one to know one”. The Russian version of this saying is “Rybak rybaka vidit izdaleka”, which means: “A fisher[man] sees another fisher[man] from far away.”
The difference in the meaning of the original and translated versions is essential. Details of messages given on such level and in such situations can be very important. However, the translation by mass media misinforms American people about the meaning of Putin’s answer to Biden.”
For those learning Russian, these two proverbs might make good additions to your notebooks!
Somehow, in the US, the genocide of indigenous peoples is always presented as an afterthought, like a mistake that’s been misunderstood or misinterpreted. The blame is shifted like sand from one place to another, and the tale of events is confused as if it only somehow happened, like a fluke, or a guess. But, yes, the indigenous peoples were extirpated, in America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and where else? And was this a mistake? —No! No, it was no mistake that those who were in the way were removed from their place, whether by hook and by crook, or by every trick in the book, it was never a mistake. Hiroshima and Nagasaki are testament to this, testament to the fact that lies beget more lies, and that killings lead to more killings. This is the empire of illusions, where after enslavement of blacks for profit the cause of expiation of the slave masters sordid past is now a plank of the pastel rainbow platform, and the empire profits from black slaves again.
I am of the informed opinion that Biden President Llc., has no soul. And this is the whole point, or rather backdrop of this ruse. As we all know, corporations can’t have souls, so the Biden Llc., simply called out Putin first. So now sly moves like asking for a live streamed chat aren’t going to be effective anymore, because Biden Llc., beat him to it so to speak, This is a typical fat cat shyster move, accuse the other guy of whatever you’re doing, first!
Ouch ! THAT was a condemnation and offer at the same time. Also note the tech-glitches appearing – hyperspace – interference check again where they appear – THAT ENERGY – will soon transform everything !
What V. V. Putin delivers is at once total and final condemnation of a whole class and a whole age – spiritually IT IS the final blow where the condemned either falls into the abyss or on his back already half healed, only the really lost fall into the nothingness – FOREVER AND EVER – there’s no end !!
This IS like a gigantic ray beam torching through several hundred years of misdeeds – GIGANTIC – earth shattering (and I saw and felt the outpourings today in the forest walk being enveloped in condensed spirit (snow fall) AND sunshine at the same time a very powerful experience as well – this easter will be very, very special !!!
I thank the allmighty for this magnificient moment – everlasting !
Putin: “…although they think that we are the same as they are, we are different people, we have a different genetic, cultural and moral code…” When Putin spoke those words it reminded me of this:
The Twelve Commandments of the Russian World
1. Live in harmony with God, by conscience. Go through life with love in your heart, even in the enemy only see a victim of the devil.
2. Don’t accept injustice. Defend the weak and the oppressed irrespective of their race and tribe, help them.
3. Look truth in the eye. Distinguish good from evil, and do not give in to attempts to equate one to the other.
4. Do not get discouraged and always fight evil. Remember, evil is ultimately weaker than good, even if it seems invincible right now. Be strong, but remember that the strength is in truth.
5. Don’t be ashamed of the breadth of your soul. Even if because of it you commit sins and mistakes, don’t let that lead you on a path of narrowing thoughts and actions. Try to absorb the fullness of the world, and live life as openly as if you are already before the throne of the Lord.
6. Judge a man by his soul and not appearance and big words. Appreciate kindness and sincerity more then other qualities in a man. Consider everyone who lives according to conscience a brother. Remember, Russian – is not so much blood as the spirit.
7. Keep the faith and traditions of your grandfathers. Do not chase trends. Make sure technology doesn’t kill the divine in you, and fashion does not dehumanize you. Appreciate the experience of ancestors and the wisdom of antiquity. Remember, the old-fashioned village ways slow the plunge of mankind into the abyss.
8. Put creative work above trade and speculation. Despise parasitism on the labor of the people. Be indifferent to luxury, if it is generated by injustice – despise it. Don’t let things and living comfort own you. Remember the ancient truth – labor is noble.
9. Self-sacrifice is the supreme condition of a man. Live for others, not for yourself.
10. Don’t try to build a heaven on earth for everyone, but do good to whomever you can. Remember, the higher justice is only in heaven, on earth it is important to avoid falling into the abyss.
11. Create and build the beautiful and the great. Try to live every second as God in the days of creation. Elevate the good, overcome evil. Remember, there is nothing worse than wasted seconds, not to mention self-destruction. Reach for the sky, and then the earthly life will make sense.
12. Russia is the last Noah’s ark of humanity. When evaluating what is happening in the world and in our country, keep in mind this truth. Before all Russians there is a common ultimate goal, compared to which the arrangement of the earthly existence is a necessary, but minor thing. And remember, Russia is not there for you, but you are there for Russia.
I like this and will pass it along to people who cast aspersions at Russia and her people. I will also introduce it to people who are looking for ideas for building a sustainable and equitable society resistant to sociopathic rule and cautious about technology.
I am so happy that I made the decision 12 years ago to learn the Russian Language, the history of Russia from it’s beginnings, the Geography of that vast beyond comprehension country, to live with and learn how Russians feel, think and respond to situations in anything from the normal everyday life to Geopolitical problems.
Let’s just hope that somehow, someday soon the people who run the US begin to see who they are dealing with when it comes to Russia. And I might add, also when it comes to dealing with those who they perceive to be in non compliance such as China, Iran, Venezuela etc .. etc …
If they don’t there will come a day for a very rude awakening.
I emailed the Russian Ambassador in Paris and expressed my disgust with Biden’s idiotic assertions and my solidarity with the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian people.
Cheers from France.

I had to think about this a little and I must give Putin some credit for his diplomatic reply. It’s not Biden we need to criticize. Biden is an old man with a broken mind, trying his best to have some dignity which he never had. This mental illness awaits many of us. The people that put him into this position to humiliate him need to be called to account. The first ones that come to mind is his family after them, it’s the ruling class who never had any shame -the Clinton’s in particular, Pelosi and her cabal, Obama and the Media shameful bottom dwellers who have no moral compass, no soul as their actions on the world stage have proven that over and over and now they are repeating these actions humiliating a sick man in order to continue their criminality.
I think you’re robbing Biden of agency here. His entire career has been one of boot licking toadyism to the ruling class you speak of, but of course that was entirely his choice as well. Probably his best choice no doubt too, given that his intellect – even in his unimpaired years – was never going to get him far in this life. A thoroughly mediocre man who lived his life in service of vicious corrupt monsters now spends his final years as a laughingstock and butt of a joke that he himself helped create. Sounds pretty fitting to me. One can only hope that his wife and entire family are eventually reduced to abject poverty and humiliation as well, but of course that would only happen in a just and perfect world and we all know we don’t live in that.
Biden is obviously not doing these things to curry favor with Russia, or because he likes Putin. They have been achieved because, unlike Trump, Biden promised he would consult with America s European allies (the Germans want to combine punishment for Russia with completing Nord Stream), and because, in certain areas, American interests align with Russia s. Biden apparently finds it necessary to make all that very clear.
Be careful out there. Listen closely – its both nuanced and very damn direct.
One of our commenters noted this from Dmitry Orlov (a Facebook comment) – he rewrote the five stages of grief specifically for the west today.
1. Incomprehension: How can they not do as we dictate?
2. Irritation: How dare they not do as we dictate?
3. Outrage: It is unacceptable for them not to do as we dictate!
4. Blind fury: They are murderers and criminals for not doing as we dictate!
5. Despair: What has become of our world if they don’t do as we dictate?
So, the idea is to “gently guide them into despair without them striking out in blind fury.”
Orlov read the tea leaves a long time ago but, yes, this one is quite new,
amarynth
And need to be treated that way.
I would add, Putin’s answer to Paul Craig Roberts.

As shown in this article Congress has recently moved to change the rules surrounding the use of Authorizations for Use of Military Force or AUMFs which successive presidents since 9/11 have used as a blank check to start wars:
https://viableopposition.blogspot.com/2021/03/will-congress-repeal-forever-war-in.html
I find there is something inconsistent in Turkish policy for sure.
Katherine
Turkey is buying s-400 from Russia. They are for sure going through an identity crisis.
You are right, and he could made a huge list of US war crimes that never went to any international court…
Katherine
Sure, he was straight to the point as always. Even though I guess it would be good if some world leader speak very clear about the US – actually its criminal leaders – was never appeared in any international court despite its well known list of war crimes.
Yes.
Same true of Israel, of course.
The two biggest bullies and genocidaires get a pass.
While namecalling others.
And in the USA we creep ever closer to full-blown dystopia every day as the population suffers.
Really stinks.
Katherine
Patrick
Classy interview with a real message behind it.
No, no war. China, Russia, Iran should slowly but surely corner US, without war. That is what the neocons want, and must be avoided like a plague.
Mister A: Good observation. I hope many people in the US are as observant as you.
Mr. P,
You wrote:
Mike, Mister A, and all…
Imperial Russia “interfered” in US politics in a major way when the Russian fleets protected both US coast from (mostly) British re-colonization in the US Civil War (Number X…the one 1860-1865 which ended with the Brit intelop that knocked off Lincoln and put in a racist fink)
Mr. P,
You are probably right.
Mr. P,
Interesting post.
I had never considered the individual states acting independent of the Federal Government, but I could see how that could evolve into reality.
Well thank you Mr. P. for the very poignant comment!
You have a northern blush to your thought patterns, and remind me of the writings of a particular Matthew.
I seek minor clarification:
, is this a hockey-related national discrimination reference?
Or other, please provide clarifying details?
I am admiring and enjoying your comments.
I don’t know what else can be done.
the power relations in the USA must change for such change to be realized. the current powers that be wont do any such thing as described above.
if the world isolates the USA the current powers are more likely to go crazy and blow the planet, rather than accept the new way in which they are no longer dominant. that in the event, is surely a possibility.
the rise of progressive politics in the USA and the change of elites seems a prerequisite for American acceptance and adjustment to such new world reality.
Ben, I don’t know anything about him. After Tulsi Gabbard endorsed Joe Biden, I just totally gave up on the American political system.
Diafffected,
You make a very good point.
No wonder the complete statement was not translated or shown in video form.
two take-aways for consideration are:
1. the American working class is distinguished from the ruling class and “we will rely on them in the future”
2. the way he said:” And—we—know—how—to—defend—ourselves”. ( nuance says all)
Yet another attempt by Russia to communicate with Washington. Will they listen? The bottom line is whether Biden will continue the policy of attempting to weaken Russia, or instead accept that there are some countries, like Russia, that are peers, and the U.S. needs to live with this situation.
As the Germans say: Klasse!

Yandex translate from Mod:-
I’m sorry if I answer you in Italian but I’m not able to do it in English.I note that offending the heads of state of other countries is typical on its part (SW swine in the EU…).I think it is rather the US that does not want to give up the bone here in Europe,we are many who would like to see your country’s military bases emptied from our continent.I am not talking about my country as a marginal country in Europe, but you really believe that a rich and powerful country like Germany will be subjected so with impunity to the diktats of your politicians §% & ç , what if it wasn’t somehow threatened by something already living inside it? On Switzerland, however, I agree,in wartime the word “neutral ” is a joke.
use https://www.deepl.com/translator
To add insult to PR injury, Biden has taken a fall on the steps of Air Force 1.
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/down-goes-biden-watch-president-fall-stairs-air-force-one
Suddenly Putin ‘s wishes for Biden to have “good health” seem very perceptive.
That’s my take.
Katherine
PS.
And the Frack-aholics might also infer from this:
We are going to finish Nord Stream 2.
Because that is our interest.
Katherine
Katherine,
Can you imagine what kind of Intel VVP has at his disposition from which to make decisions?
I can’t.
I love Mr Vladimir Putin he is an awesome human being and the best president this world has ever seen!
Unfortunately, your read of the …
is incorrect.

Dear friend, Auslander,
I love your prose but your “fiction” is so powerful, it raises the hair on my arms.
Bless VVP and the people of Sevastopol.
Thanks Auslander.
Always await your comments.
Stalingrad will look like kindergarten tea party…dear Auslander that sounds like a fine music for my ears.

Healthy body – healthy mind!

And I have to believe that he is in right mind?

From my Moscow corresondent:

Russkiy Malchik
Very nice.

Unfortunately, Putin was addressing his offer of debate to the wrong person.
It’s President Kamala Harris now.
Even Biden inadvertently admitted it in a supposed “gaffe.”
Say hello to America’s very first Black-Indian Female President!
Too bad, she isn’t Lesbian or Bisexual (as far as we know).
That would have been the perfect trifecta of Intersectionality.
Biden calls his VP Kamala ‘President Harris’ in another gaffe as he touts vaccine rollout
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyCf1VNgyug
Truly a great statesman.
I have the deepest respect for Mr Putin and watching this my respect is utterly justified.
Bravo.
Bravo.
