by Roger Waters for Mondoweiss
——-
Two days ago we posted about the brave pushback in France against legislation that makes it a crime to advocate for boycott of Israel. We were then informed that Roger Waters had sent a letter to the French people, via a French news agency, on this very subject some weeks ago that has never been published. We are publishing it here. – Mondoweiss Editors.

Mes Cher Citoyens,
Along with most thinking, feeling and compassionate members of global civil society, I deplore the occupation of Palestine and the subjugation of all of its non-Jewish peoples. The State of Israel’s anti-Palestinian discrimination since 1947/8 is unacceptable.
I am anti-racist, anti-colonialist, anti-war, anti-oppression, and anti- discrimination.
We the peoples of the rest of global civil society have always tipped our hat to you the French, for your embracing of the “Declaration des Droits des L’Hommes” in 1789. There always resided, we believed, in your collective beating heart, devoted as you were to the principles of Fraternity, Equality and Liberty, an attachment to the defense of the oppressed everywhere, meme hors de France!
Today I read to my horror that a court in your land has declared illegal a peaceful protest by BDS supporters against the policies of the current government of Israel, which are racist, oppressive and discriminatory, claiming that the protest itself is discrimination and imposing fines upon the peaceful protesters.
This is a sad day for France and for the French judiciary. To take such a stand against BDS (Boycott Divestment and Sanctions) for employing the same nonviolent tools that were used in India against the oppression of British rule in the mid-20th century, and by American protesters, both black and white, in the Jim Crow South of the USA, and also by both black and white protesters from all over the world in the struggle against apartheid in South Africa is a stain on the good name of The French Republic.
BDS, BOYCOTT DIVESTMENT AND SANCTIONS, IS, SO FAR, THE ONLY EFFECTIVE PATH TO THE POSSIBILITY OF PEACE IN THE HOLY LAND BASED ON THE WELL BEING OF BOTH PALESTINIANS AND ISRAELIS SHARING FREEDOM, JUSTICE AND EQUALITY.
Why would your judiciary oppose it? A public outcry in your great country should demand a public inquiry into the legal grounds for bringing these complaints against BDS supporters. In any event, on a personal note, I should declare an interest. The supporters of BDS, who have been attacked by your judiciary, have my unequivocal support, respect and love.
Any man or woman who mans the barricades in support of our oppressed brothers and sisters in Palestine and Israel for that matter is my brother and sister.
This issue is not complicated, it is a matter of right and wrong, it is a matter of the correct or incorrect application of the law. The law should serve the oppressed not the oppressors. If your law protects the oppressors, the racists and the discriminators, and punishes the men and women of good heart who man the barricades of freedom, wherever those barricades may exist in our small planet, then your law is an ass.
With love and respect. Chers Citoyens
Roger Waters
“Us and them
And after all we’re only ordinary men.
Me and you
God only knows it’s not what we would choose to do.
‘Forward’ he cried from the rear
And the front rank died.
The general is sat and the lines on the map
Move from side to side.
Black and blue
And who knows which is which and who is who.
Up and down
And in the end it’s only round and round. And round.
‘Haven’t you heard it’s a battle of words’
The poster bearer cried.
‘Listen son’ said the man with the gun,
‘There’s room for you inside.’
…..
Down and out
It can’t be helped but there’s a lot of it about.
With, without.
And who’ll deny it’s what the fighting’s all about?
Out of the way, it’s a busy day
I’ve got things on my mind.
For want of the price of tea and a slice
The old man died.”
– Us and Them, Pink Floyd
Well said Roger, agree wholeheartedly.
Thank you Mac Chiavelli!
Roger Waters established himself as the greatest thinker and artist in rock with his album “Amused to Death.” It is always timely, unfortunately.
From the “Dark Side of the Moon album”,1973-
For long you live and high you fly
And smiles you give and tears you’ll cry
And all you touch and all you see
is all your life will ever be
Part of the lyrics from the song “Breathe”.
Roger Waters,
“If your law protects the oppressors, the racists and the discriminators, and punishes the men and women of good heart who man the barricades of freedom, wherever those barricades may exist in our small planet, then your law is an ass.”
Nice letter. Nice conclusion.
France is the political center of Europe, and the world.
Dieudonné, Alain Soral, all the Le Pens, and other courageous french citizens have made great contributions to the cause of Freedom.
I have had some disputes about the nature of the anti-imperialist Patriotic opposition to the Zionist controlled puppet French government. The resistance in France is large and militant. Marine Le Pen’s speech before the EU is just one example.

Delacroix, drew it beautifully, and even painted himself in the action.

France must emerge as the Sovereign Nation, and political center for Europe, and that deed will establish another Revolutionary Barricade in a multi-polar world of Free Peoples.
For the Democratic Republics.
The speech I posted above, by Marine Le Pen, has been disgracefully altered. Her voice has been cut out, and the translation is a butchery of her words. Without hearing her voice you cannot hear her emotion and brilliance.
Therefore, I offer this speech by Marine Le Pen. She begins speaking at the 2:minute point.

Roger Waters speaks for me as well!! Clearly the Zionists have their tentacles deeply entwined within the French government and its judiciary, somewhat resembling Vichy. Perhaps the French need to launch another Revolution to rid themselves of the threat from within.
Its past time in the World (certainly in Europe and the Americas) for the elite to hear ” The voice of the people” :

boycott France
certainly cancel that vacation to Paris (darn!)
I wrote that?
Yes…I did…
Palestinians and so many more suffer from real oppression…but me?…the oppressors affect my vacation choices.
This article by Mr. Waters is one of hundreds that fall on deaf ears of those who supposedly care about the human suffering heaped upon Palestinians every day by the oppressors of Zionism. For nearly 70 years they have been the recipients of physical and mental torture and imprisonment without benefit of trial, the theft of their land, the destruction of their fruit trees, the denial of basic human rights to fish and to farm to feed themselves and the loss of economic opportunity to engage with other nations in international commerce.
All this pain they endure simply for existing on their ancient land. It is a slow death by a thousand small cuts to destroy the will of survival for an indigenous human society. This is far beyond the period of time that European Jews experienced under the murderous Nazi regime.
Words are like manna, snow flakes that fall to the earth, momentarily sit on the ground and then melt away. The Palestinian people need weapons to fight the wicked Empire of the Overlords, not prose, not palm reeds and not olive branches. Rocks and stones cannot defend against bullets, cannon fire and bombs that fall from the sky.
Give the subjugated thrall the means to stand up to tyranny, give them guns and a man who is not afraid to lead them to freedom and the restoration of their culture and dignity.
Poke, the dreadful and tragic irony is that the Palestinians are, in Edward Said’s words (I think) ‘The victims of the victims’. The actions of the Zionazi elite and the racist segment of Jewry, in behaving like Nazis in their repression of the Palestinians and in their blood-curdling hatred and contempt for International Law and the real ‘International Community’, have relied on the ferocious and unending propaganda campaign re. the ‘Holocaust’ to disguise and justify them.
This ‘Holocaust’ has become an imposed pseudo-religion in the West, where Jewish suffering under the Nazis has become the ONLY mass horror of genocide and terror ever mentioned in polite society. When was the last time you heard mention of the hecatomb in the Belgian Congo under Leopold, or the current genocide in the East Congo, or saw a movie made about it, or any other historical genocide? Every other genocide in history, where tens and hundreds of times as many became victims than the four to six million European Jews who died, including all the other victims of the Nazis, are almost totally ignored, while the ‘Holocaust’ is rammed down our throats, day after day.
And, naturally, to even mention this preposterous disproportionality, let alone the supremacist ideology of Jewish ‘Exceptionalism’ that lies behind it, is strictly forbidden. Even more so is drawing attention to the evil manner in which the Zionazis use the Nazi Judeocide as a justification for all the crimes of Israel. While you can see how it would have, seventy years ago, made the Zionazis that much more vicious than their inherent colonialist racism and religious supremacism would have made them in any case, its continued use today to justify the absolute brutality inflicted on the Palestinians is, in fact, an insult to the memory of the victims of Nazism, the Jewish ones in particular.
We have to face the facts that the Jewish elites, aided and abetted by many ordinary Jews, out of group solidarity and fear of ostracism (just ask Spinoza how good they are at that)but opposed by many brave and principled Jews, have established a malignant grip over the West by the use of open bribery in the form of political ‘contributions’ that is driving Western states, France in particular, towards a curious form of religious fascism, but in favour of a tiny but INFINITELY demanding minority. Of course this fascism must be opposed, not just for the damage it is doing to the host societies, but also because, in a reiteration of history that the Jews seem dedicated to repeating over and over again, it will eventually provoke a possibly dreadful reaction.
May God bless Roger Waters, a great man of the world who speaks with courage and with eloquence on behalf of the Palestinian people and all oppressed people.
Quite amazing, and next they will criminalise ANY criticism of any Jew anywhere throughout history. Their Messianic supremacism and their history of never knowing how to compromise with all their enemies, real, imagined or manufactured, tells us that. What point is TOTAL power if you cannot abuse it. Naturally, saying that the Jews have ANY power will be banned, too. And, of course, possibly deliberately, the pushing and pushing will cause a backlash one day, whereupon they’ll screech, ‘See-they were ‘antisemites’ all along!!’
They are at in the UK, too. The Oxford Union Labour Club is under attack from Sabbat Goyim in the Labour Party and the Tory regime for daring to support Israel Apartheid week, ie the truth. Some little twerp has resigned in protest at the ‘antisemitism’ ie goyim forgetting their place. In other words the usual inversion of reality where Jewish aggression is normalised and the free speech of others is, effectively, demonised and repressed. All canvassed in a nakedly propagandistic, and, naturally one-sided (the nasty ‘anti-semites MUST be silenced!)article by the Guardian, or as some of the remaining readers now call it, the Langley Post.
