Can someone please tell me if Walter Litvinenko was ever forgiven and is he living in Russia? Or where is he living now?
I feel very badly for him. He is old, a widower, his son is dead. The Brits duped him and convinced him that his son was murdered by Putin.
Carmel, between 5:20 and 5:40 Walter Litvinenko said: ‘While Marina remains in UK…I realized that I had to leave as soon as I could, because I would never survive there…’
Thank you. Through a documentary I knew he was living in a little town in Italy ( after he left U.K. I guess). He was crying and very cold and was begging Putin to forgive him and let him return to Russia.
Hence, my question where is he living presently. I hope Putin forgave him. Putin is man that holds strong decisions but he is also an extremely compassionate human being.
At some stage during this interview a Levada Centre poll pops up: 6% Russians believe the UK is an enemy of their country.
This is the kind of psychology that has shaped the collective mind-set in the so-called west. I’ve grown up with these kinds of polls. What do they achieve, really?
“Walter Litvinenko used to support the theory of Russia’s involvement in the 2006 poisoning of his son, Alexander, in London, but he changed his mind after years of analyzing the inconsistencies of the investigation.
Litvinenko senior says the poisoning of his son was designed as a widely-publicized false-flag operation to show the world that Moscow was extremely “cruel,” and the way that it allegedly “deals with its enemies.” The ongoing Skripal scandal, in its turn, was launched to provoke a reaction from Russia, he believes.
“They realized that they have screwed up big time [with the Litvinenko poisoning] and decided to change their tactics a bit. Therefore, they do not show [any evidence] now, but keep it all in secret waiting for Russia to react to it. If there was, as they say, the ‘Russian trace’ there, everything would have been clear long time ago,” Litvinenko said.
He believes that, given the different goal, the ongoing investigation is significantly less transparent than it was back in 2006, since it is easier to hide the truth from the beginning than to try and swipe it under the rug afterward.
“It’s the same with Sasha [Aleksandr], if there was the ‘Russian trace,’ it would emerge over and over again up to this day. But the Scotland Yard was not looking for a criminal. Scotland Yard was covering the tracks,” Litvinenko stated. “Now they do not want to show these tracks altogether, since they know they will have to cover them up the same way as with Sasha.”
The Skripal scandal would eventually backfire on those who initiated it, Litvinenko said. “It will be very difficult to hide it all. And they will eventually fail. They will be caught, and Theresa May will be very ashamed. And this clown, their Foreign Minister [Boris Johnson] – he will be very ashamed too.”
Litvinenko, who lost his son after the former officer of the Russian security service FSB fled Russia for London and cooperated with MI6 and Spanish police, says people like Alexander find themselves in a situation where they effectively become hostages of foreign governments and intelligence agencies. He said it applies to both the rich and powerful who have left Russia after having run-ins with the law, such as the late oligarch Boris Berezovsky, as well as less prominent citizens such as Sergei Skripal.
Given the previous suspicious deaths of Russian nationals on British soil, Skripal’s fate looks quite grim, Litvinenko believes. The daughter of the former double agent, Yulia, however, might get out of this situation alive, as she was seemingly in the wrong place at the wrong time. Assuming she was of no interest to the intelligence services, the recent reports on Yulia’s conditions improving do not look that “miraculous,” Litvinenko said.
“It’s not beneficial for them if Skripal stays alive. And this girl – she knows nothing. Skripal knows. She simply came to visit her father and got into this,” Litvinenko said. “They’ll let his daughter walk away, probably. But if she knows anything, she won’t get out of it either.”
He was Berezhovsky’s man and Berezhovsky got him out of Russia via Turkey. Anyone around Berezhovsky was in deep trouble and he should never have been allowed into UK at all. No doubt he paid off Blair.
I like the Worlds Apart and Mrs Boyko. She is well informed about the subject of her interviews and asks interesting questions so I generally learn something from them – refreshing.
This one is interesting as Walter Litvinenko comes off more as a member of the Russian public without specific information (at least that he can talk about) that sheds new light on the matter. His arguments are logical (many others have made similar ones), but not so specific.
I found the interview with Paul Barril more substantive for this reason – more specifics and apparent real familiarity the background and personalities involved.
Walter Litvinenko offers a measured voice of reason exposing the real dangers that Russians face at the hands of the British intelligence society.
Interesting that he changed his mind after years of analysing the inconsistencies of the investigation. Let’s hope that his change of mind also lifted a burden from his shoulders.
It seems to me a phrase used in Theresa May’s parliamentary denunciation of Russia has been overlooked as to its importance.
Theresa May said words to the effect that Russia had lost control of technology pertaining to the manufacture of chemical weapons. I think what May was signalling is the eruption of her terrorist cells in Russia whose mode of action includes use of binary nerve agents. I think an aim of the UK is to spread far and wide the basic chemistry concepts outlined in Mirzayanov’s book so as to create plausible deniability as to questions pertaining to from where such terrorists may have gained their CW expertise.
This is definitely a hoax. It is definitely a gross provocation. But more than that it may mean a shift in the type of extremist the UK has decided to support and even produce. I had thought this hoax was aimed at building public opinion in the west for the use by the west of all means available including but not limited to chemical, biological, nuclear weapons to have done with the bloodthirsty deranged Russians. Now, I have shifted my view to also include the outworking of the little remarked upon wordings phrasing used by May to imply Russia had lost control of chemical weaponisation technologies. I can even imagine May having to backtrack from her adamancy regarding Russian state guilt to an always planned secondary position of ‘it appears home grown Russian terrorists have discovered binary nerve agent technology and are using it against the Russian state…tsk, risk, etc
Hmmm.worth thinking about…I cettainly feel rhere is a black ops dept working somewhere somehow….did all those false bomb claims up to the elections really get traced back to their origins outside Russia for example….and were not some directed at shopping centres and the like?
It seems that the Anglozionists are trying to hide (and forget) two recent occurrences that will make history: the spectacular victory of Mr Putin in the presidential elections in Russia, and the extension of Mr Xi Jinping’s presidential mandate in China. By bringing a false flag operation at this time, London certainly turned the attention of the world from two of the most important events of our time to something of their own creation – they obviously expect to continue writing their own version of history for years to come…
Someone wrote a comment pointing to ”muslim backed by the US” bla bla to direct attention to those moslims.. forgot that Alexander Litvinenko was a muslim according to his father and his wife.
How do we now learn that Skripal’s son was married to the daughter of a GRU Colonel but she divorced him and married a 12 year younger Welshman and lives in Cyprus. As part of the divorce she split the proceeds of the house sale so he received $200,000. That suggests they owned a $400,000 house with no mortgage !!!
She is now 45 and he was 2 years younger but died after divorce in St Petersburg of liver failure. Skripal had PoA over account and transferred that to the daughter Yulia.
So she had access to $200,000 in a Russian bank account ?????
If Skripal lived in a £350,000 house and his son lived in a $400,000 house and neither qualified for mortgages there must have been a great Resettlement Package from MI6 or some other business which was bring Skripal a lot of money since 2010
Thanks Saker!
Indeed Euope and London are like golden (and poisonous) cages for these russians…
Hard to be closer to the truth for this brave father,
May God keep him safe,

True he converted on his deathbed apparently but had considered the matter for some time according to his Chechen associate in London
