The world Olympic movement has always been based on the principles of equal and impartial attitude towards athletes – representatives of all states of the world. The Olympic Games were designed to stop wars and political strife, to unite representatives of all countries of the International Olympic Committee. One of the main Olympic principles was peacekeeping – the opportunity for the strongest athletes to meet under national flags for a peaceful competition. We seem to be losing all this today. Since the days of Nazi Germany, the Olympic Games have become a weapon of propaganda, and during the Cold War, political squabbles from terrorist attacks, protests and boycotts unfolded around them. However, now, when the International Olympic Committee (IOC) forced the Russian team to abandon the national flag and anthem, the entire political background of the current Olympic Games has become especially visible.
In ancient Greece, military operations were stopped for the period of the Olympic Games. Peaceful competitions, the cult of sports, the cult of beauty and the spirit of ancient competitions had priority. As the founder of modern Olympics, Baron de Coubertin, wanted to revive all this! But the proud fathers of Athens or Baron de Coubertin could hardly have imagined that in modern days noble sports would turn into an instrument of a political game. Earlier, there were boycotts because of the Cold War, provocations in the stands, racism… Now we have strange doping scandals. As a result, the Tokyo Olympics, at the suggestion of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), have become institutions that also operate on the basis of political interests.
As a reminder, since 2014, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has been investigating the massive use of doping by Russian athletes. They were stripped of their medals and removed from the competition. In Russia itself, where they love sports and root for their athletes, this was perceived as a planned attack on Russian sports. Moreover, for example, Russian biathlon fans are convinced that half of European athletes in this discipline use anti-asthma drugs that expand the lungs “for medical reasons”.
However, that the suspension of Russian athletes is not based on scientific facts is confirmed by the statement of the most decorated Winter Olympian of all time, Ole Einar Bjorndalen.
Bjorndalen, 47, an eight-time Olympic biathlon champion, stated in 2017,that more compelling evidence than scratch marks supposedly found on sample bottles of some Russian athletes if they are to be implicated in the ongoing doping scandal.
“I hope that we will be able to see some evidence for what they [Russian athletes] are being punished, and that it it’s not that there are some marks on the bottles, because then I will be terribly afraid of giving samples,” Bjorndalen, said, as cited by the Norwegian News Agency (NTB).
The very idea that one can be found guilty of doping violations without being tested positive has stoked fears among the athletes as they now worry they can be punished virtually under any pretext, Bjorndalen said.
“We skiers are beginning to feel uncertain when we are being tested that there are some scratches on sample bottles for which they can punish us,” he said.(1)
Anyone who violates the doping regulations should be punished, and severely, so that the strong message is sent, that fair play is the basis of the Olympic Games. But to punish the whole country, and which is superpower in sport(Russia is always among the few countries with the most medals won), on the basis of unreliable evidence, is absolutely unacceptable.
Therefore, in response to a well-thought-out decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in the days of the Olympics rallies, the Russians launched the not quite tolerant hashtag #wewillROCyou (according to the permitted name of the Russian team – Russian Olympic Committee). The anger of ordinary Russian citizens is reasonable if we keep in mind that never in history has any country been deprived of its flag and anthem.
So we have to ask ourselves, all of us who love sports but also basic human rights, is it right to try to humiliate a country of 147 million inhabitants? Especially having in mind how much that country has provided to the world in the field of sports, culture, science. The answer is self-imposed – the injustice towards Russian athletes and Russia must be corrected.
It’s the big lie. If Zionazis repeat the phrase “Russian athlete doping” enough times, then it somehow becomes true in the addled little minds of the sheep people who believe all they are told.
I find it odd that a biological male with all “bits” intact can compete in womens’ sports, but that an entire nation is to be punished for the alleged misdeeds of a few, and of course, the misdeeds have not been proven, only alleged.
The narrative says Russians are bad and Putin is evil. The narrative says whites in the US have no right even to enjoy being who they are, but that the most extreme and tiniest minority has the largest voice. The narrative says one thing one day and reverses the narrative two days later (ref. medical issues).
I would like for the authors of the narrative to be exposed individually, one by one, and held to critical scrutiny.
Its Olympic infamy, in its lowest and shallowest intellectual form. If I was Russian, from this day on, I would always compete at Olympics under the ROC, to forever mark the day when Olympics became the propaganda tool of the west. No need for classical symbols like flag, anthem etc. main thing is getting the plated plate.
“I would always compete at Olympics under the ROC”
LOL. Seems to me that “Western Propaganda” is losing it. All they’ve managed to do is to draw extra attention to Russia (no such thing as bad publicity) while they are winning all those medals. It is to snigger.
ROC. In Russia’s shoes, I would create “Responsible Olympic Competition” games and invite all to Russia friendly states to compete and leave “Olympic games” to the West to destroy it, as they destroy everything they touch.

Seeing a crew who shouldn’t even be here walk away with a silver is a nasty feeling. Really disappointing overall and I feel for the other athletes in the A Final. Big love to all my friends and frenemies who gave it everything out there.

It has always been my belief that this is due to one person who was found useful to Western interests, Grigory Rodchenkov, who had been affiliated with Russian sports (see following interview just for information)
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/russian-doping-olympic-mastermind-on-the-run/
but jumped ship, bringing with him some supposed evidence. The head of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency under the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (RUSADA), Vitaly Stepanov., was conducting an investigation thereafter. It turned out R’s sister had been convicted in 2012 of illegal smuggling of prohibited substances, and he himself was running an illegal scheme to provide doping from US sources for a small number of athletes (he himself says at least 20 countries do this, and 10-15% of all athletes around the world are “incorrigible”) who would have been later found out as is proper, but then Rodchenkov destroyed all specimen bottles. so that it was impossible to ascertain which small number of athletes were involved. But you would think that the IOC and WADA could just require new tests in 2016/2018 instead of this collective punishment of an entire nation for years to come! They did return 9 of the 13 confiscated Russian medals without any publicity, but this seems to me a de facto admission that they were unjustly taken in the first place.
It should be a complete triviality that “The West” misuses these games (remember what happened with the Soviet “occupation” of Afghanistan!) — so the problem for me is not at all what “The West” is doing (it is doing its usual thing), but that Russia and China go along with it.
I agree with Oliver K fully!
Russia and China should have boycotted this Olympics, leaving it for the rotten hollowed out spectacle it is.
the women who opted out are wonderful though I wish they had opted out on principle not for personal causes of whatever nature
I was not going to pay attention however from the minute they allowed men to compete as women. that is a basic reason in and of itself why Russian and China and many others should have walked. the games are nasty, a travesty for that reason alone and no people of any normal ordinary principle should have taken part
I don’t understand Putin at all. Given Russia as the aggrieved party not even proof of what Russians are accused Russia should have walked way from these games. What is there for Russia to gain from these sick, corrupt American games?
And at the same time I would begin taking the next logical step – to Organize a proper world games worthy of its name and principles for the nations who wish to compete honestly, at high quality
What are Putin and Zi after with the Americans that they refuse to fight back, hang on to American coat tails regardless of what the decrepit, sick and corrupt old hegemon does? Putin in particular just disrespects his own country by his long standing docility in response to American attack an general contempt for Russia
if Putin is trying to avoid world war he is wasting his time. the weaker more docile he appears to be the more intense will American contempt for Russia rise. the Americans wont stop at all. The only chance for that to take place is the line Putin draws, and his behavior consequent with the enforcement of that line
I agree “theoretically” Russia should have boycotted the games. But only if they could have convinced others to join them.And I don’t see that happening .But on the other hand China and Russia are doing well at the games.Especially China,they are in the lead right now with 20 Gold Medals,while Japan has 17 and the US is third at 16.Russia is 4th with 10,so the US plan to “punish” Russia hasn’t worked as well as they wanted it to.
So far the US leads in 2nd and 3rd place finishes though. Maybe a harbinger of potential future outcomes in other arenas.
As far as abuse of the games and the cost sunk by countries into hosting them, the boycott and suspicious timing of the 2008 Georgia war are examples. I suspect they have something similar (or worse) planned for the Beijing Winter Olympics next year.
Due to Covid, China should consider deferring the games for a year, which will throw off all the preparations.
Ah, but now a new medal count is introduced ;) most medals, not most gold medals ;)
Once again Putin has played the west. It is Russia who has come out of this looking strong. As an American watching the dignity with which the Russian athletes compete gives me goosebumps.
America looks like a bunch of classless drama queens. Had Putin withdrawn, his athletes out Russia wouldn’t have had the opportunity to highlight American weakness.
Bowing out would have been a terrible blow to the athletes who put their whole lives into competing. Now they come back as heros and Putin will reap the benefits of putting his countrymen before his ego.
In the future, I do predict further shenanigans from the Outlaw Empire, so coordinating alternative athletic competitions with China and others isn’t a bad idea.
This photo of USA gymnast Simone zBails has been almost completely removed from the internet in just a few days.
She’s standing with her team and her silver medal, looking back at the Russian gold medal winning team.
What’s her expression?
https://newsweek365.com/2021/07/27/after-simone-biless-stunning-withdrawal-russia-wins-gold-medal/
Save the page. You can extract the picture from it. Internet is a bitch, ever heard of google cache? ;-)
Don’t know about Simone Biles. She could prepare for 5 years and then there are suddenly some mental issues, while she is probably the best gymnastic around? Hmmm.
What has struck me more, is the blatant accusation of USA swimmer Ryan Murphy against gold-winning Evgeny Rylov, with some hints that the final ‘probably wasn’t clean’:
https://www.rt.com/sport/530642-ryan-murphy-evgeny-rylov-doping-row-olympics/
Mr. Murphy, are you talking about the water quality? If not, then this is pure slander. Prove it or else STFU. You failed.
Or, this USA rower Megan Calmoe, who has ‘nasty feeling’ seeing Russians compete at Tokyo Olympics:
https://www.rt.com/sport/530590-olympics-megan-kalmoe-russians-nasty-feeling/
Oh dear. Mrs. Calmoe, go whining in your safe space or else STFU.
Just suppose that these accusations were made exactly the other way around. USA officials would have stampeded to have the accusers banned for life, for polluting the Olympic principles. It is pathetic. I guess the ROC has too much style to react too much on it.
Cheers, Rob
The Americans have always been bad losers and i hope they lose a lot more,they have the brass balls to talk about doping when they have been one of the worst,just mention Lance Armstrong thats all that needs to be said.
Rob, Not really a skilled tech user.
But I can “google” like a champ, that’s how I know this pic is being algorithm-ed and memory holed.
Re Biles, she was on performance enhancers (its ok. She has an exemption).

My heart goes out to @Simone_Biles.
If her decision to drop out was at all related to inability to use Adderall to help her control her ADHD, –the blame here needs to be focused NOT on her or @TeamUSA, but on Japan’s #PMDA and it’s DEA. @JapanGov

@Simone_Biles. admitted to using Adderall under a legal therapeutic use exemption when she won 4 gold medals.
Adderall is 100% illegal in Japan under all circumstances therefore it could not be used in the Tokyo 2020 games. It makes sense that she couldn’t focus.

Having AD/HD or no, it strikes me as off that that IOC would allow ANY athlete to take performance enhancing meds, even if for “legitimate” conditions like AD/HD. Any athlete on said drugs is very likely given an unfair mental advantage over their competitors.
https://mobile.twitter.com/BigStrongFast/status/1420363742416621573
~~~~~~~
Anon: So apparently Simone Biles takes medication for AD/HD?
And apparently the olympics allows AD/HD meds, but Japan doesn’t.
So shady. This isn’t a knock against Biles, but after being prescribed Adderall, I can absolutely attest to the level of focus it gives you.
Twitter threads are full of people’s first hand accounts of eliminating Adderall use, and understanding how she would not be in the “headspace” to compete.
And a somewhat amusing twit:
If Simone Biles truly went into an Adderall withdrawal I’ve no sympathy for her. It is not hard to smuggle prescription drugs into another country. Don’t ask me how I know
“Not really a skilled tech user.”
You don’t have to. Let me drop a few hints.
– You can save the page with right-clicking on it and then choose ‘save as’. It will be in html format, when wanted you can change the extension later to pdf. A html page can consist of multiple layers (as was the case here), but it doesn’t have to.
– You can also select the page contents with ‘Ctrl-A’ (means ‘select all’) and drop the contents with ‘Ctrl-C’ and ‘Ctrl-V’ in a Word-like new document.
(‘Ctrl-C’ and ‘Ctrl-V’ are shortcuts for ‘copy’ and ‘paste’ without the menu.)
Select the picture:
– Enlarge page and picture (can also be done directly): keep ‘Ctrl’ pressed and move the scrolling wheel of your mouse forward.
– Carve out the picture and save it. On Windows this can be done with the standard program ‘Snipping tool’ (on my Linux-based system I use ‘ksnip’).
For possible ‘redacting’ there are lots of programs available, from simple like ‘Paint’ or ‘Krita’ to more advanced like ‘Inkscape’ and ‘Gimp’ (those last two have a learning curve involved, please be aware of that).
(Fun fact of Gimp, is that you can trace down there if a picture is messed around with or not).
Sharing the result with the world: use a upload service like ImgBB, Imgur or whatever.
Possible result: https://ibb.co/tHvhZFx
America face saving for their domestic propaganda narrative. Withdrawing their so called best ‘athlete’ then gives US sports pundits, the excuse to denigrate Russian accomplishments and question their success through the usual ‘what if…?’ reality was arbitrarily weighed to give imaginary advantage to the US…’then the US would have won’.
Lest we forget the astonishingly disgusting behaviour of the US regarding the last Winter Olympics where they declared themselves the overall winners to the shock most in the world as to the level of deceitfulness and out and out lying to simply deny what most thought was an extraordinary accomplishment by Norway, who won the most medals overall.
Little did we know, the criteria had changed to ‘most gold medals’ simply so that the fat and naked American can prance around in it’s sweaty Elvis costume straight out of 1972 while singing songs from 1958.
When the Soviets dominated by inventing modern gymnastics in the 70s, the US had a lot of ‘trash’ talk about that as well which now just sounds like a vinyl copy of Springsteen’s ‘Glory Days’ forever skip repeating the chorus in a broken jukebox which rather than improving or even fixing, America just simply hires more bar security to beat up and eject anyone that complains.
Fred,
Let’s also not forget that when Donovan Bailey won the 100m gold (in a new World record time) at the ’96 Olympics, an achievement which has always resulted in the winner being hailed as the World’s fastest man, the American sportscasters declared that Michael Johnson (winner of the 200m gold) was the fastest man in the World because his second 100 (of the actual 200m race) was faster than Bailey’s winning (and World record) time. The Americans then staged the ridiculous/bogus 150m race between only Bailey and Johnson which flopped in a spectacular fashion.
There is video of Simone hugging and congratulating the entire Russian team when they won the gold.
Love it how the US team carry their owner’s logo. Swoosh – I’m outa here.
Harrasing russian sportsmen is the only harm that West can do to Russia. Pathetic
Russia should make big parade [for all athletes ] on Red Square, with National Anthem, and party!!!
No one was bothered in the west, when Ukraine had their “slava ukrainii/ Heil Ukraine” sports clothing during football games. No one has a problem when Croat fans use Ustaše style symbols….
But don’t you dare waving the Russian tricolore… ‘Putin’s athlets’ “Drugs”, etc…
The olympics have always been a chess board of politics, the myth of olympic peace is just a myth unfortnately…
It would be terrible for sportsmen and women who trained for years,but i believe they should have refused to take part in the Olympics under the humiliating rules they imposed on the Russians,without the Russians the whole games would have been rendered pointless because athletes need to compete against all of the best in the World.
I think they are there to show they all represent the same country.
Coos
I think Englishman made an important point: “It would be terrible for sportsmen and women who trained for years,but i believe they should have refused to take part ”
Fair play is the essence of sportsmanship. Otherwise sport is just like war; another form of Darwinian competition, the Law of the Jungle and Survival of the Fittest.
Even though I’m happy about the great Russian athletes who are winning medals at these games. In general just like 1980 and 1984 these games will always have a bad smell to them. First, having the 2020 games in 2021 is ridiculous.Second,the fans are banned from the games.Meaning they don’t have the wide appeal of all the other games.Third, the West’s attack on Russia to try and get the country banned is disgusting.And last ,number four,the US’s disgraceful whining and butthurt attacks against Russia and China,everytime one of their athletes wins a medal is beyond belief. If anything the US needs to be banned from the next Olympics for bad sportsmanship during this one.
The banning of “Russia” from the Olympics games is part of America’s Hybrid World War.
There is no issue that the Americans won’t try manipulate and try weaponize as a propaganda tool–all the while, the Americans will be self-righteously running their mouths as if they are the paragons of virtue.
The only gold medal America deserves to win is for imperial arrogance and deceit.
The Olympics have far outlived their usefulness, which for the past 30 years or so in particular have been questionable at best. We have more than enough athletic competitions already where athletes can exercise their competitive muscles. Russia should just hold their own “Olympic” level competitions as often as they deem fit, invite all the responsible countries in the world (obviously the too-proud US wouldn’t take part either way) that want to compete, and make it more about celebrating the achievements of the individuals and teams of athletes themselves, rather than the countries they come from. And more than anything, make it low key and keep the corrupting power of big money out of it!
I disagree! The US would compete, but only if they found another way to chat.
OK, I’m easy. Let the Russians continue playing the American games in an American corporate venue and be subjected to American abuse. American’s will cheat no matter what, no matter the venue, because we’re **exceptional** and everyone else is by definition not.
I really believe that if the Russians held their own games the US would declare them illegitimate and not only boycott them, but threaten all their proxies to boycott them as well or else. In the end, either way, it indicates that such athletic “games” have been thoroughly politicized and that cooler heads might want to consider whether or not they’re worthwhile at all anymore, at least on a “formal” (which at this time at least means global corporate) level.
But didn’t they do that back in 1984?
They had the official games in 1980 in Moscow, which, true to form, the US boycotted thanks to Jimmy Carter. A local heart doctor up here, Tony Sandoval, made the team as a marathoner but never got to race. 1984 was Los Angeles, and I’m not sure if Russia boycotted those as well or not. I believe they did.
The question should be, why allow to be humiliated.
Off topic but, where are the Skripals?
At the same place where the Crimean Tatars, Yuliya Timoshenko, Arkady Babchenko, Aleksey Navalny and Svetlana Tikhanovskaya are: out of the interest of Western media.
They only need them when they want to yell their russophibia into the world.
I am not sure they are still alive,if they were i am sure the Reich would have them on TV every day for propaganda.
Congratulations to ROC delegation in the Olympic for manifesting a stellar performance in the games so far. As Athletics gets underway, I’m sure the ROC delegation will show-up the Americanos even more :-).
If you accept their institutions (Canada, US and council of Europe…Google WADA) and rules, then you simply play by their rules.
So the Russians swollowed it and move on. That is their choice to make. I would personally have not made that choice on any decision making level. But the Russians I guess believe the gains are more than the losses (or humiliation) ?
I agree on your comment re institutions, but I think the Russian government accepted these rules for the good of their own athletes.
Remember these are athletes who have prepared an entire lifetime to compete. It would be so unfair for own government to politicise this and prevent them from participating.
The unexpected upside is the total lack of dignity on the part of the US athletes.
Win-win all around for the Russians I would say…
The principle here is a bit like a test taker in school who is inclined to object to some problem with the course of instruction or the contents of the test.
The objections may be well founded, but nevertheless, he who makes the objection is in a much stronger position if he scores well on the test.
This is the Russian approach, as I see it.
Do ROC athlete’s a dignity ?
It’s hard to say, some might have no other choice. But those who made a decision, they don’t have for sure. It’s simple as that.
Dear Batko,
I was watching the Australian double tennis with Ash Barty and Co against the Russian duo. The Australians won the first set, and that was it.
But in the watching of the Russians for the most part of the second set, I became aware of something intangible. The Russians were trying much harder, and I believe it was for simply one reason. They had been knocked by the rubbish put on them by the Yanks, and for the Russians that was another major driving force. I believe that this slander and deceitfulness by the Americans has only infuriated the Russian athletics to such a degree that they will battle to clear their name and that of their nation, and this drive will be extremely hard to overcome.
Ash Barty is young, and she will get the opportunity to return to the next Olympics where the experiences dealt to her and her partner by the Russians will hold in good steed, and as far as I am concerned, the biggest cheats, and they have been for years, being the Americans will at the end rue their arrogant stupidity.
As for the Russians, I doubt it they will ever forget or forgive the deceit and treachery they have been continually handed, by the Americans and their craven ‘friends’.
The Olympics ended in’84 when they went Corporate. Shortly after that they allowed Professionals to get in and that was the end. The Americans get their way in everything and the Women’s 400 meter is an example. They blew the Baton exchange on the 3rd leg and were disqualified. However, somehow that was overruled and they were given a do-over! That is how corrupt the “Olympics” have become. “Do as I say, not as I do”.
Yes the Americans are very resourceful. They have dirty laundries of lots of people stacked away on digital devices. When an event occur they’ll look up the names of the decision makers for that event, go to their data bank, retrieve parts of the dirty laundries, send a few ghastly samples to the decision makers, BOOM! Voila!!! The decision makers would decide in Americans’ favor :-))).
America being the glamourous place to visit and play for the past 75 years, lots of people have come and exposed their bodies and soul. This was what Ed Snowden warned the world of.
I think the Russian Embassy in Tokio should play national anthem in coincide to a Olimpic Ceremony with a Gold medal for ROC.
If i was a Russian athlete winning i would be tempted to wave the Russia flag,but that would probably give them another excuse to punish all Russians.
One way to take a lot of the corruption out of the Olympics, and make it a more “Global” sport would be to simply, and eternally, host the Summer Olympics in one spot in Greece.
The Winter Olympics I’ll grant can be hosted in some other ideal spot TBD.
As for the drug issue, I advocate separating the Olympics into a “Eugenic Olympics” (normal humans) and a “Bio-Juicer Olympics.” A flat ruling can be made that no asthma meds, or anything but a simple multivitamin enhanced diet can be used by the former, but in the latter group, anything goes.
In regards to Russia…well, its enemies are evil and want to humiliate it. What is to be done except withdraw, crush them, or in the realm of geopolitics, ruin them?
If it’s allowed, let me broaden the point a bit further.
Besides the demonization of Russian athletes, let’s not forget that there are other painful examples as well. Already twice judokas have refused to compete against an Israeli opponent:
https://deadline.com/2021/07/tokyo-olympics-algerian-judoka-competitor-refuses-israeli-match-1234799439/
And rage has also been fumed against Iranian gold medal winner Javed Foroughi, who was called a ‘terrorist’:
https://www.wionews.com/sports/how-can-a-terrorist-win-gold-at-the-tokyo-olympics-korean-slams-ioc-over-iranian-shooter-401789
So much for the good intentions of de Coubertin.
Cheers, Rob
In this deluge of arguments pro et contra, the most important fact is missing. Do the Russians consider themselves guilty of doping or not? One of the most infuriating and confusing gestures is this selective mutism – even people who are pro-Russian are starting to doubt Russian honesty. If they are guilty, admit and eat humble pie. If not, state it clearly – as should have been done in the cases of Litvinenko, Skripals, the Flight 17 and all the others. If you are being framed by the west, why carry the guilt and shame? This way it looks that Russia has something to hide.
Of course I personally completely reject the possibility that the Russians might have done any of these things (too clumsy – a stereotype of a clumsy Russian yokel). But if not that, why are they keeping quiet? Something not quite right there.
For instance, have you ever – in 100 years of basket ball in the Exceptionalistan – ever heard of any single goddamn doping test on the
marvelous, super physicality american basketball players? Within or outside olympics, considereing they currently list over 400 professionals in the Nba league.
I did nt.
But they could be either angels of immaculate behaviour or simply a breed of supermen, you decide.
If Americans accuse another country of a wrongdoing, they themselves are the ones who do it but they try to project it on others
Simone Biles was found ou to have used banned drugs under WADA approval in 2016. She has done it again in Tokyo, and as usual, WADA and the USGA are whitewashing her
(https://news.yahoo.com/simone-biles-couldnt-bring-her-185400413.html)
A competent and self respecting Russian government would never send the national team to the “circus” that the Tokyo “Olympic games” are under current circumstances. It is so demeaning for a great nation. The only message (mantra) that the Russian so called elites, who rule the country and who sent the athletes to Tokyo, are forwarding to the “partners” in their beloved West is: you can still count on us anywhere and anytime. Well, we knew that already!
Let’s brighten up that this doesn’t count for all of Team USA.
It struck me that he didn’t blame his team for playing bad, but praised their Russian opponent for playing so good.
Still exists. I wonder however whether he will still has his job when he returns.
While the Russophobes haven’t been able to cause trouble with the Russian team at the Tokyo Olympics (so far).They have struck Belarus at the games. They found a “Westernized” athlete full of “European values” willing to be their stooge,ready to disgrace Belarus.After being butthurt about the Belarussian Olympic Committee she starts bad mouthing Belarus to anyone that will listen (Western anti-Belarus groups). Belarusian officials try to sent her home and she claims they are kidnapping her. Causing a huge scandal,and giving the Belarus haters a “gold medal” at the games.The way in the future to prevent that is to start fielding a “Union State” team with Russia. And/or for the Belarusian officials to start vetting for loyalty to the country those they send abroad in national teams. Only those loyal to the nation should ever be send to represent the nation before the World stage.Every World event is a battle in the war against Russia-China-Belarus-Iran-Syria,and their other allies.And all those nations need to understand that and prepare how to fight it.
The attempt to weaponize the Olympics against Russia has finally failed. However, the Propaganda Guys don’t give up easily (plus, they have no originality and substitute instead obsessive doubling-down). If it doesn’t work against Russia, why not try … Belarus!
Not only Lance Armstrong but the big jaws of Michael Phelps and the big muscles of Serena, tells who are really doped.
It would be a class act to see a non Russian standing on the Olympic podium waving the Russian flag and singing Russia’s national anthem as a sign of protest against the insult on not only Russia but also the Olympic spirit…
Ironically, the very fact that Russia has been targeted with such HateMedia and Racism; being ‘deprived of their flag and national anthem’ is the very endorsement that shows how weak The West has become. Whilst it may be hard to see for the everyday Russian; and seriously misconstrued by the Western Audience of the games; the way Russia is being treated is a sign of the collapse of The West as an entity that can be respected. When the respect goes, the power is already gone… Looks like the time of Russia is approaching. The West best be careful how they treat someone who is gaining prestige on the global. All those who have been ‘downtrodden’ by The West are watching… waiting… waiting for a champion to speak for them. The West best be very careful… Russia as a good memory.
All these alphabet soup international organisations from WHO to WADA ,whether from the UN or sponsored like WEF, claiming to represent the world or being ‘international’, should have 5 vice presidents from the UNSC permanent members, allowing minority reports and/or even veto power! These have all become biased propaganda outfits and countries should quit and ignore those reports and start their own multinational and multi-polar alternatives! That will stop the BS!
Cubertin was a nazi supporter. I didnt expect to read here about him in a good tone. Ubermensch games is not something to be proud of. Modern olympics are nazi olympics. Samaranch was nazi too. Go figure
