Any news on probable construction of Minstral class carriers, that were planned a while ago and now could get the financing as French washed their potential down the toilet..? =) Best helicopters in the world deserve some quality naval platfom…
As nice as carriers are, I think it would be wiser to spend the money on additional SAM systems, PAK-FA, SRBMs, ECM systems, submarines or AEW Aircraft… NATO wants war, and a carrier is not useful against NATO
no country relying on defence has ever won any war.
it is waste of money to spend on defence-better utilise on attack weaponary or on clever diplomacy of divide and rule.
french defence melted in the first hours of german onslaught in second world war.
