Hybrid War is being fought predominantly in the economic/financial battleground – and the pain dial for the collective West will only go up.
By Pepe Escobar, posted with the author’s permission and widely cross posted.
The ironclad fictional “narrative” imposed all across NATOstan is that Ukraine is “winning”.
So why would weapons peddler retrofitted as Pentagon head Lloyd “Raytheon” Austin literally beg since late February to have his phone calls answered by Russian Defense Minister Shoigu, only to have his wish finally granted?
It’s now confirmed by one of my top intel sources. The call was a direct consequence of panic. The United States Government (USG) by all means wants to scotch the detailed Russian investigation – and accumulation of evidence – on the US bioweapon labs in Ukraine, as I outlined in a previous column.
This phone call happened exactly after an official Russian statement to the UN Security Council on May 13: we will use articles 5 and 6 of the Convention on the Prohibition of Bioweapons to investigate the Pentagon’s biological “experiments” in Ukraine.
That was reiterated by Under Secretary-General of the UN in charge of disarmament, Thomas Markram, even as all ambassadors of NATO member countries predictably denied the collected evidence as “Russian disinformation”.
Shoigu cold see the call coming eons away. Reuters, merely quoting the proverbial “Pentagon official”, spun that the allegedly one-hour-long call led to nothing. Nonsense. Austin, according to the Americans, demanded a “ceasefire” – which must have originated a Siberian cat smirk on Shoigu’s face.
Shoigu knows exactly which way the wind is blowing on the ground – for Ukrainian Armed Forces and UkroNazis alike. It’s not only the Azovstal debacle – and Kiev’s all-around army breakdown.
After the fall of Popasnaya – the crucial, most fortified Ukrainian stronghold in Donbass – the Russians and Donetsk/Luhansk forces have breached defenses along four different vectors to north, northwest, west and south. What’s left of the Ukrainian front is crumbling – fast, with a massive cauldron subdivided in a maze of mini-cauldrons: a military disaster the USG cannot possibly spin.
Now, in parallel, we can also expect full exposure – on overdrive – of the Pentagon bioweapons racket. The only “offer you can’t refuse” left to the USG would be to present something tangible to the Russians to avoid a full investigation.
That’s not gonna happen. Moscow is fully aware that going public with illegal work on banned biological weapons is an existential threat to the US Deep State. Especially when documents seized by the Russians show that Big Pharma – via Pfizer, Moderna, Merck and Gilead – was involved in several “experiments”. Fully exposing the whole maze, from the start, was one of Putin’s stated objectives.
More “military-technical measures”?
Three days after the UN presentation, the board of the Russian Foreign Ministry held a special session to discuss “the radically changed geopolitical realities that have developed as a result of the hybrid war against our country unleashed by the West – under the pretext of the situation in Ukraine – unprecedented in scale and ferocity, including the revival in Europe of a racist worldview in the form of cave Russophobia, an open course for the ‘abolition’ of Russia and everything Russian.”
So it’s no wonder “the aggressive revisionist course of the West requires a radical revision of Russia’s relations with unfriendly states.”
We should expect “a new edition of the Foreign Policy Concept of the Russian Federation” coming out soon.
This new Foreign Policy Concept will elaborate on what Foreign Minister Lavrov once again stressed at a meeting honoring the 30th Assembly of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy: the US has declared an all-round Hybrid War on Russia. The only thing lacking, as it stands, is a formal declaration of war.
Beyond the disinformation fog veiling the application of Finland and Sweden – call them the Dumb and Dumber Nordics – to join NATO, what really matters is another instance of declaration of war: the prospect of missiles with nuclear warheads stationed really close to Russian borders. Moscow already warned the Finns and Swedes, politely, that this would be dealt with it via “military-technical measures”. That’s exactly what Washington – and NATO minions – were told would happen before the start of Operation Z.
And of course this goes much deeper, involving Romania and Poland as well. Bucharest already has Aegis Ashore missile launchers capable of sending Tomahawks with nuclear warheads at Russia, while Warsaw is receiving the same systems. To cut to the chase, if there’s no de-escalation, they will all eventually end up receiving Mr. Khinzal’s hypersonic business card.
NATO member Turkey, meanwhile, plays a deft game, issuing its own list of demands before even considering the Nordics’ gamble. Ankara wants no more sanctions on its purchase of S-400s and on top if be re-included in the F-35 program. It will be fascinating to watch what His Master’s Voice will come up with to seduce the Sultan. The Nordics engaged in a self-correcting “clear unequivocal stance” against the PKK and the PYD is clearly not enough for the Sultan, who relished muddying the waters even more as he stressed that buying Russian energy is a “strategic” issue for Turkey.
Counteracting financial Shock’n Awe
By now it’s evidently clear that open-ended Operation Z targets unipolar Hegemon power, the infinite expansion of vassalized NATO, and the world’s financial architecture – an intertwined combo that largely transcends the Ukraine battleground.
Serial Western sanctions package hysteria ended up triggering Russia’s so far quite successful counter-financial moves. Hybrid War is being fought predominantly in the economic/financial battleground – and the pain dial for the collective West will only go up: inflation, higher commodity prices, breakdown of supply chains, exploding cost of living, impoverishment of the middle classes, and unfortunately for great swathes of the Global South, outright poverty and starvation.
In the near future, as insider evidence surfaces, a convincing case will be made that the Russian leadership even gamed the Western financial gamble/ blatant robbery of over $300 billion in Russian reserves.
This implies that already years ago – let’s say, at least from 2016, based on analyses by Sergey Glazyev – the Kremlin knew this would inevitably happen. As trust remains a rigid foundation of a monetary system, the Russian leadership may have calculated that the Americans and their vassals, driven by blind Russophobia, would play all their cards at once when push came to shove – utterly demolishing global trust on “their” system.
Because of Russia’s infinite natural resources, the Kremlin may have factored that the nation would eventually survive the financial Shock’n Awe – and even profit from it (ruble appreciation included). The reward is just too sweet: opening the way to The Doomed Dollar – without having to ask Mr. Sarmat to present his nuclear business card.
Russia could even entertain the hypothesis of getting a mighty return on those stolen funds. A great deal of Western assets – totaling as much as $500 billion – may be nationalized if the Kremlin so chooses.
So Russia is winning not only militarily but also to a large extent geopolitically – 88% of the planet does not align with NATOstan hysteria – and of course in the economic/financial sphere.
This in fact is the key Hybrid War battleground where the collective West is being checkmated. One of the next key steps will be an expanded BRICS coordinating their dollar-bypassing strategy.
None of the above should overshadow the still to be measured interconnected repercussions of the mass surrender of Azov neo-Nazis at UkroNazistan Central in Azovstal.
The mythical Western “narrative” about freedom-fighting heroes imposed since February by NATOstan media collapsed with a single blow. Cue to the thunderous silence all over the Western infowar front, where no mutts even attempted to sing that crappy, “winning” Eurovision song.
What happened, in essence, is that the creme de la creme of NATO-trained neo-Nazis, “advised” by top Western experts, weaponized to death, entrenched in deep concrete anti-nuclear bunkers in the bowels of Azovstal, was either pulverized or forced to surrender like cornered rats.
Novorossiya as a game-changer
The Russian General Staff will be adjusting their tactics for the major follow-up in Donbass – as the best Russian analysts and war correspondents incessantly debate. They will have to face an inescapable problem: as much as the Russian methodically grind down the – disaggregated – Ukrainian Army in Donbass, a new NATO army is being trained and weaponized in western Ukraine.
So there is a real danger that depending on the ultimate long-term aims of Operation Z – which are only shared by the Russian military leadership – Moscow runs the risk of encountering, in a few months, a mobile and better weaponized incarnation of the demoralized army it is now destroying. And this is exactly what the Americans mean by “weakening” Russia.
As it stands, there are several reasons why a new Novorossiya reality may turn out to be a positive game-changer for Russia. Among them:
- The economic/logistics complex from Kharkov to Odessa – along Donetsk, Luhansk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Nikolaev – is intimately linked with Russian industry.
- By controlling the Sea of Azov – already a de facto “Russian lake” – and subsequently the Black Sea, Russia will have total control of export routes for the region’s world-class grain production. Extra bonus: total exclusion of NATO.
- All of the above suggests a concerted drive for the development of an integrated agro-heavy industry complex – with the extra bonus of serious tourism potential.
Under this scenario, a remaining Kiev-Lviv rump Ukraine, not incorporated to Russia, and of course not rebuilt, would be at best subjected to a no-fly zone plus selected artillery/missile/drone strikes in case NATO continues to entertain funny ideas.
This would be a logical conclusion for a Special Military Operation focused on precision strikes and a deliberate emphasis on sparing civilian lives and infrastructure while methodically disabling the Ukrainian military/logistics spectrum. All of that takes time. Yet Russia may have all the time in the world, as we all keep listening to the sound of the collective West spiraling down.
Another brilliant analysis of the current situation in Ukraine. I wonder how long before Odessa will be under Russian control?
@Derek
And how long before Transnistria may be joined to Russia too…
It seems that NATO and UK want to create another Ukraine in Moldovia.
There’s a bible verse that depicts the current situation very succinctly:
“Whoever digs a pit will fall into it and whoever rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.” Proverbs 26:27
The combined West wanted to destroy Russia, instead their planned destruction rolled back on them. That’s what happens when you forget God and His wisdom.
http://biblicisminstitute.wordpress.com/2015/03/17/the-truth-about-the-conflict-with-russia/
Maybe for the end of the Year Odessa will have been taken.
Russia is progressing steady, first all Dombass army will be destroyed.
Then let’s see where Russia will put the focus. Odessa or Kharkov.
All weapons from the West will not make a difference, since under the strikes of Russian Kalibres most of them will be destroyed.
It is interesting to notice that of the 44 millions of people of Ukraine. 10 millions are in the zone that is already dominate by Russia.
10 millions run to the EU
Remaining 20 millions, how much of them are ready to fight?
They will not have any wish to fight.
The only important point here is Russia not to stop when they are winning, and go to the end, creating all the corridor to Traninistria and to transform Ukraine an irrelevant country.
Luckily, the arrogance of Western powers will help Russia in order to continue until the end.
Words of Schloz that they will never put down sanctions and never recognise crimea or Dombass.
Similar words from other leaders…
All this ensure that Russia will not stop, and that is very good
Odessa end of year? As armchair general Im against this snail tactic.
I think it will be sooner and agree the incredible stupid arrogance of the European National Socialists will accelerate the conquest and secure the success of planet B.
As your fellow armchair general, I’d like it to end rather sooner than later also but I get the impression of a kind of reverse Afghanistan/Vietnam tactic by Russia. Zone A is trying to wear them down, again. But Russia is going at it very economically and slowly and in the process Zone A is wearing itself down. It takes some time to feel the results of the sanctions in Europe, wake the people up, get them to protest, then really protest with riots and vandalism, then votes of no confidence for governments in different countries. Let’s say by late fall, when it starts to become cold and wet and everybody has received a letter from their utilities about new tariffs…
The West will keep throwing Slavs at Russia until she directly targets the West.
I think the latter slowly comes to the mind of some of the more sane of western politicians who are not blinded by Russophobia and mind-trapped in the 1980’s/90’s.
Let’s face it:
▶ West sends weapons to Ukraine in huge masses, up to having military leaders warn about depleting their own stocks;
▶ Western “leaders” obviously believe that they sign the order and Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Lockheed, Saab, General Dynamics, Rheinmetall etc. can ramp up production from 1 to 100 in no-time (impossible to produce decades of production in a year or two);
▶ Meanwhile, the supply chains already strangulated by the Covid policies get further bogged down by Western sanctions; Shanghai goes in lockdown, ships are waiting; Shanghai slowly lifts lockdown and ramps up production; supply chains won’t recover because of a sudden surge in Shanghai demand and because other companies didn’t survive supply shortages;
▶ Western outsourcing to China since the 1980’s already deindustrialized large parts of the west; lately, the climate agenda furthered western deindustrialization. Even if factories could be rebuilt in no-time, where to get the required skilled manufacturing workers? Either they’re already dead, retired or they reoriented, not looking back.
▶ Western sanctions created an energy crisis precedented only by the oil-price shock of the 70’s, and we’re only 3 months in. Energy has become one of the most expensive commodities in the west, following the Western sanctions announced in late February, with a large room for more price hikes.
So, we in the golden west now have a perfect storm of supply chain crisis, skilled workforce crisis required for arms manufacturing, an inflation/stagflation crisis topped by homemade depletion of arms and ammo stock — while Western state budgets are increasingly running dry, as demonstrated by the Ruble exchange rate versus Euro and Dollar.
And while Western pundits make the disinformed public believe that Putin miscalculated, Russia’s military is in a dire state and the Russian economy lies in tatters, as one Barack Obama put it, it will be very painful for that misled public to learn the truth that everything they were told about Russia was a lie, which in reality applies to them.
Oh and the food crisis! Grandmaster Putin only needs to wait for the right moment to strike and call NATO’s article 5 bluff on facilities in Poland, Romania and Germany. I would guess September/October, right before the heating season starts and MSM news complain about meager U.S. and EU crop revenues in paragraph 7 while concern trolling about the starving Global South in the headline — blaming Russia.
You raised an interesting point: In fact the Shanghai Lockdown occurred in sync with Russian SMO; Feb. 24, Feb. 28!

Thus the Chinese in effect are sabotaging NATOstan’s efforts to ramp-up their production…
Smart move ;-)
@Mr.P: “Thus the Chinese in effect are sabotaging NATOstan’s efforts to ramp-up their production…”
Perhaps the Dutch also are sabotaging NATOstan? Rotterdam harbourmaster complains that anti-Russian boycott is causing a pile up with unloaded ships choking the harbour waiting for inspectors searching through tiny items of cargo.
i’d prefer the baltic states to be considered first, they’re nazified too.
Another looming problem is where does the collective West get the raw materials, precious metals, rare minerals to make the weapons?
In Russia of course, … oh wait… maybe they’ll lift again some sanctions and are again dumb and arrogant enough that Russia will ship will orders, with priority if possible :-D
I dont believe anything will ever wake up the sheeple of West. When they were told the “limited fossil oil” didnt slip up in year 2000, they answered “that was what we knew in the past, now we got wiser and believe in clima change”.
The gasoline raised 100% and food has gone up 50% and someone wants to depopulate the planet:
“thats good we limit the pollution from CO2, we are also eating too much, we are certainly too many on the planet (Thinning out in Africa, India and China, then there are more to us).
Russia just nuked Warszawa: “This is in Warszawa and would never happen where we live, because we stand together in NATO”.
Actually, Putin don’t mind about the NATO or American military facilities in Germany. Striking the German facilities will provoke European tribal war 3, but those facilities in Poland and Romania are disposable as long as it doesn’t involved Russian troops entering those territories.
Hello Nervous,
Some very nice points, thank you.
My best wishes to you.
The same people who lied to the world about Iraqi WMDs are lying to the world about ukraine, just on a grander scale.

Turkey’s president Tayyip Erdogan said he could not support NATO membership for Finland and Sweden.
On May 14
At the gathering of NATO foreign ministers with the Finnish and Swedish counterparts in Berlin, the Turkish foreign minister Cavusoglu set the conditions for Turkey accepting the membership of Sweden and Finland.
Ankara’s main demands are for the Nordic countries to halt support for Kurdish militant groups living in Sweden and Finland, and to lift their bans on sales of arms to Turkey.
Ankara says the Nordic arms ban is inappropriate for prospective members of the NATO pact.
Sweden and Finland has not approved Turkey’s request for the repatriation of 33 people with alleged links to terrorist groups. The chairman of the Swedish parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Kenneth Forslund, said: “If Sweden should start expelling people who are not considered terrorists according to the EU terror lists, that’s totally unthinkable.”
The Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Linde then claimed that the Turkish opposition was due to Sweden’s feminist foreign policy.
The Turkish foreign Minister Cavusoglu fiercely rejected the allegation, which released a very tense atmosphere at the NATO meeting, in which many opted for silence trying to downplay the insult toward Turkey.

Turkish President Erdogan said the Swedish and Finnish delegations should not come to Ankara as planned.
On May 18
An adviser to President Erdogan spoke with counterparts from Sweden, Finland, Germany, the UK and US. The calls came through after five days of struggles by the Nordic countries to reach Erdogan’s office. However, the message from Ankara was unchanged, that NATO membership of Sweden and Finland was only possible if Turkey’s expectations were met.

The Turkish Ambassador to Sweden repeats the Turkish claim of repatriation of terrorist affiliates (that also includes the Swedish MP Amineh Kakabaveh) to be extradited for prosecution in Turkey.
Kakabaveh is affiliated with the YPG.

Over the weekend Swedish Authorities for psychological defense (MPF) are registering a major surge in Articles and post on social media, warning the Swedish populations against Sweden and Finland entering into NATO. The Swedish security Police (Säpo) believes the activity is originating from a foreign Power, but refused to specify.
I believe that the surge is caused by many Swedes who are realizing the implications of joining NATO, and are trying to warn their countrymen.

The Turkish edition of Aydinlik writes that Ukraine has blocked 21 Turkish vessels in the port of Odessa. Turkey claims that Kiev uses the Turkish sailors as a human shield to protect Odessa from Russian Attack.
On May 20
The president of the Middle East Forum analytical center in the US, Daniel Pipes, proposed to exclude Turkey from NATO.
According to Pipes, Turkey has not been a true NATO ally for the last 20 years:
It is in conflict with Greece regarding Cyprus. It has invaded Syria. It threatens Europe with migrants.
And it buys S-400 from Russia.
“It’s time to exclude Turkey from NATO. Let them go to Russia, China and Iran.” concluded the US expert.
Taken into account that:
Turkey is now under sanctions by the US and the EU.
Turkey is banned from buying Nordic, EU and US Military equipment.
Turkey is under constant financial attack against the Turkish Lira by western financiers.
And now Turkey is being denied solidarity from the NATO alliance by prospect members to the alliance.
It seems to me that a fracture between Turkey and NATO could very well happen.
If so, NATO will lose the second largest military unit of the alliance, and in the process Turkey will likely seek alliance with Russia, to avoid being regime changed by NATO.
Now that would be a New World Order regarding the East West military balance.
A major defeat for the NATO alliance in the Black Sea region, and the Middle East.
Turkey fears being thrown out of the EU and NATO because there are long-running differences with Russia going back for centuries, both cultural/religious (which could change, but that would require population dislocation) and geographic (which will never change).
Turkey and Russia both know that any alliance would be a matter of convenience and only temporary. NATO didn’t invite Turkey to join because they wanted a mild-Moslem perspective, they wanted Turkey in for reasons of Geography. It’s the same reason why the west wanted friendly governments in Iran — it had nothing to do with the Iranian people and everything to do with Iran’s location on the southern border of the Soviet Union and placement of radio listening posts.

My comment:
Turkey is absolutely not afraid of being thrown out of the EU, because they can’t even get into the EU.
And they are not afraid of being thrown out of NATO, as the US and NATO was behind the 2016 failed coup in Turkey to dethrone Erdogan.
Aaron Kulkis wrote

My comment:
The Orthodox Christians of Russia seems to be on better terms with the majority of the religious demographics of the Middle East and Turkey, than the Catholic Christian Zionists of US-UK-EU and Israel.

My comment:
There is no mild-Moslem perspective controlling Turkey, There are an elite of Dönmeh Jews exploiting the religious mixed population of Turkey.
NATO wants Turkey as a plug in the entrance into black sea, to block Russia form entering the Mediterranean Sea.
Just as the western Empire controls the entrance into the Baltic Sea, the entrance of the Mediterranean Sea, the entrance of the Black Sea, the Suez Canal, The Panama Canal, and The strait of Malaga, they also want control over the Strait of Hormuz (Iran), the Bay of Aden (Yemen and Somalia) and the Bay of Guinea (West Africa). The west wants to control all sea access to world trade, and hates the competition of the Chinese belt and road initiative to world trade.
Aaron Kulkis wrote

My comment:
Radio listening post my A++. The west wants a puppet government in Iran to regain control of the oil riches of Iran, and unhindered access through the Strait of Hormuz to the oil of the Arab States and Iraq.
The West is actually pursuing the agenda of its financial owners the Khazarian Jews, to regain control over the oil riches of the Caspian Sea, they have lost to the USSR and Iran since WWI.
P.s: Aaron, you seem to get the facts mixed up. Are you by any chance writing from Israel?
Daniel Pipes is most assuredly on the Mossad payroll, or he just volunteers his effort for (((the cause))).
Russia isn’t alone fighting the NATOstan, right now. China is doing a good job on the economic/media PR fronts aimed at the westerners and Iran is also doing its part with regard to the situation in the region. They could always support more if and when needed. All the other countries of the Zone B are more or less doing what they can in order to support the Russia’s SMO. By next fall when the weather gets cold, the European vassal states especially mini ones will be in a complete state of economic destitution on verge of internal uprisings of hungry people. Moreover, once the Novorussia is fully liberated, all Russia has to do is to deliver a couple of serious warnings like special Kinzhal/ Sarmat strikes against the white supremacists in Western Ukraine near the borders of Poland, Romania, Lithuania,….and the rest of zioclub i.e. EU/US/Israel will get the message.
I dont agree. Russia should target the centres of the empires power, namely the City of London, and not some disposable auxilary minions
for the UK can i suggest a Wednesday at 1200hrs GMT Parliament will be full lol
i’d like to hope Ruskie laser weapons can take out GPS satellites, leaving the ICBMs no hope of finding their targets, and those that might, will be taken out by the S-500 systems lol
No further action would be required from Russia, other than to ask “is that all you have?, pick a city! or we will!”
Spot on!
Pine Gap is used for US missile targetting signals, and listening post as well. No towns nearby, a nice juicy target.
A few direct hits on London and New York banks and stock exchange buildings would do wonders, followed up by an announcement that any more arms shipments will be met by destruction of government buildings, and individually targeted residences, just as the UFA has been doing to civilians in the Donbass.
When the west finishes completely destroying it’s own economies, will the lying western media continue to blame Putin for the self inflicted disaster than has befallen them? The people will not rise up, and those that do will be brutally suppressed. 100 + years of indoctrination will do that to people. Mabey Nazi-lensky will rethink moving to his new adopted country England, if the hung out to dry Banderites don’t get him first. I heard the blow is cheap and plentiful in Columbia.
Kleptocrats with UK passports are enthusiastically welcome in Florida, where the supply of Colombian blow is endless. And wouldn’t you know, elensky already has a multi-million dollar mansion there!
The U.S. public is armed to the teeth, and many, especially the combat vets from Afghanistan and Iraq are chomping at the bit to remove the corrup government officials, bureaucrats and “law enforcement” thugs, all the way down to the local dog catcher.
It feels like a dawn after daceds of darknes. Thanks to Pepe, exceptional summary.
Novorossiya: and why not Kiev as it’s capital? Shitomir and Vinitsya look like good border towns? just like in the old days!
‘… we will use articles 5 and 6 of the Convention on the Prohibition of Bioweapons to investigate the Pentagon’s biological “experiments” in Ukraine.’
Could it possibly be that the profound USG panic and efforts to scotch the detailed Russian investigation by all means might have something to do with the possible exposure of the true origins of recent pandemics. The resulting deaths among other nationalities are of no consequence, of course. However, the families and friends of over one million dead US Americans might be just slightly upset upon finding out that their own government played a key role in their demise.
Monkeypox! “Putin” grabbed himself the news cycle. Ukraine is not allowed to lose, but Karma is a bitch. So while Ukraine now is losing and public support in the west dwindles proportionate to the rise in costs of living: monkeypox to the rescue! They’ll also take care of that pesky sons of Dr. Mengele story.
Note that “monkeypox” has a silent “K”. 10 percent for the big guy!
It would appear that the same thought has occurred to US Professor Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University. In an article written for the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Professor Sachs also suggests that the COVID-19 pandemic could have emerged from US experiments on viruses.
He doesn’t deal with the Ukraine biolabs in particular. He does point out, however, that “EHA, UNC, NIH, USAID, and other research partners have failed to disclose their activities to the US scientific community and the US public, instead declaring that they were not involved in any experiments that could have resulted in the emergence of SARS-CoV-2”. The US MoD has been even more reticent, of course:
It’s unlikely that we’ll ever learn the whole truth about the totality of the US military’s bioscience and biowarfare undertakings. We can only hope that Russia’s investigations proceed to uncover at least some of their more egregious effort in the field.

My bow of chastity; Of course, I have to do it in order to be Rublev and be more agreeable to my Subject. And I was thinking…to hate everything Russian…I thought, really? to be a hater just like that, of the r-cat, the r-tree and so on? I guess it means everything, but………………I can’t hate my Katiusha! How frigging could I!
The Bolshoi Ballerinas! The Ice-Skating girls! The Red Army Choir! and their dancers! Valentina Tereshkova! Anna Akhmatova! The Mother! and the mother of Ivan looking at us from inside Ivan’s dream, a pickle after my swig of vodka, then I got to think of all the girls the color of wheat blending with the roughness of the land….no, andrei, you don’t want to mess with those gals, they will make you squeal! Those mothers, tank and cannon forgers! Heroes of Harvests!, tank-ditch diggers! Night Witches! They are still there, a blessing, a people that knows cohesion and can be ready to respond in moments of distress, too much to swallow with this rancid hatred…But you have been giving this hate even before many of us were born, it’s an old hate, but let’s call it what it is, the same old fear of losing that privilege that is been imposed over many, so lets not be afraid to call the haters into the open, the deceivers, the indoctrinated, rely on each other, unplug the propaganda ministry! Pray Andrei, Pray don’t rant! Some times I believe myself inside War and Peace! Go figure…once a lady singer sweared “A Mexican can be born wherever the F*** they want!” I can’t help it, for me Russia is just the other side of the tortilla, ask Sergei Eisenstein, he will agree with me…it’s beyond surreal.
Seriously, I can’t understand the unending praise for Anna Akhmatova, but then again, I didn’t grow up in Russia….
Self-inflicted. It truly looks like judo. Waiting for the weakest moment and then pull out just 20% of the arsenal.
If I were exceptional which I truly am, I would ban judo globally as a weapon of mass destruction and sanction everybody who secretly exercise it………..wait wait wait, – Confucius, Rice bowls and False smiles also to be banned and sanctioned, and you cannot participate anymore in Ice hockey championships in the International Community.
Take that punch Russia and China!
Yes indeed. The Desperados are doomed.
Blackring and I had a discussion a few days ago, which provided heavy grist for this mill! I was drawing on common threads percolating over the last two months though, esp. by the western nemesis and maestro Glazyev.

Dear Pepe, obrigado globe-trotting nomad on the right side of history. I know you have a discerning eye for Ana de Armas, beautiful ancient Italia and the Aston Martin DB5, so this one’s for you, We Have All the Time in the World:

On the industrial front, does Russia already have the oil drill bit tech that I heard only Halliburton or perhaps Schlumberger has only the capability to make.
It could prove crucial. Same goes for LNG & semiconductor/microchip tech. I do hope that Russia has prepared for this.
Semiconductor wise I guess you can get most of the stuff from China. Not the latest iteration, but you probably would not need that. 5 years old tech is good enough for nearly everything. We are not in the 1980, when very new generation really brings new possibilities. And I guess the military is not using the latest chips anyway.
And for the other stuff, Russia is not Venezuela. They probably can produce any heavy machinery if they try. Maybe not perfect, but workable.
who makes perfect stuff? not the US, everything is rushed to market, for market placement, then upgraded and debugged to actually make it work as sold
From a metallurgical viewpoint (and, for that matter technological), there is nothing the US “makes” that cannot be made by Russia.
It is possible that the designs may be patented, but I believe Russia has already stated their views on western “intellectual property rights”, so if it exists, rest assured Russia CAN, and WILL manufacture it.
“It is possible that the designs may be patented”
Good point. US fierce struggle for “intelectual property protection” is dead giveaway that opposition can manufacture anything they can.
There are technological issues though. It is not enough to know how to manufacture 1nm chips, you must have tools to do so. Tools that involve extreme ultraviolet lasers that are produced only in one place. Ladders need cutting edge lenses that are produced in another place, and process involves many chemicals you do not know formulas for. None of those are readily available for Russia, nor China.
Every part of the process must be developed localy to be able to make end product. That takes decades and insane amount of money. West accumulated money by pillaging whole world for centuries. Russia and particulary China was pillaged and repeadetly sabotaged in that same time frame. This is an uphill battle for them. If West isn’t in self destruct mode, they wouldn’t have any chance, and we’ll all be reduced to position of chickens in modern poultry farming.

Russia is currentyl earning money by the truckload, but what do they need money for? It is only useful to buy something from someone else. If you make something from your own resources, you do not need money. Russia has all the resources it needs – materiel and intelectual. Russia and China were pillaged, but they are still there, they are not empty shells. Baby chicks get their beaks burned off, so they dont peck their sisters to death as they go mad in those cages.
The companies who build this technology (and the US is NOT the only one by far) sell it.
Russia has plenty of money, and what they cannot build locally (in a timely fashion), they can buy, and buy they will.
The World Leaders in truly microscale are supposedly Taiwan (TSMC), who co-incidentally have plant in China. China strongly supports Russia, so Russian availability of ICs is pretty well guaranteed.
Also, military tech doesn’t necessarily need “the fastest” – “fast enough to do the job” is very much a Russian mindset (after all their WW2 tanks weren’t necessarily the “best”, but were “good enough to do the job”.
As for the much-touted western view that Russia’s Semi R&D is “backward” –

From 2007 mind you.
I know a man who used to be a bicycle racer. His russian mate (bicycle racer as well) is engineer specialist who runs “oil rig” drilling heads factory in The Russia since 1991 (before 1990 it was probably the state factory running for many years). So another fairytale about “western” exeptionality…
@Panto.
Beware of hoping for things; you might get them.
Remember poor Adolf after his tanks had met with Russian tanks at Kursk, the greatest tank battle in history; the battle that broke the back of his Wehrmacht, a highly mechanized army which controlled the rest of continental Europe (like the U$ Army does today):
“It wasn’t my fault. My experts assured me that no other country could manufacture so many tanks so quick and so good.” — recorded statement by the Fuhrer.
“Bei uns ist besser” (We are exceptional) — German saying (no longer current).
Is that it? Really why even bother playing
I was reading that one must either:

– roll around in monkey feces and eat some too, or
— be hacksxxxinated to get the pox of monkey bat Chihuahua man.
Zelensky , ah , will not be looked upon favourably in herstory books
So we are waiting to hear what sort of top dog brass from West asslicker bioweapon production firms that are militarized to hellsinki has been holding out in the dungeons.
They must be so happy to be seeing sunlight .
What it will take for the madness to stop?
Space alien or divine intervention…
The love of Jesus or the giant meteor shower ?
Make not fun of space aliens.. they are keeping a solid eye on the Ukie war, with their drones and on site personnel, (in the air). Open theyfly.com, search recent contacts, under ‘Billy’s Contacts’. One of the et observers happened to see his drone footage and became quite sick.. saying he’s never seen/imagined such barbarism. (see contact #800 with et Bermunda).
No, I’m not a nutter off the med, but a Rtd. Snr. Airline Check and Training Capt, (EAAC and CPA) with multiple IFO sightings.
wow interesting reading…
Excellent analysis, and I agree with Pepe’s predicted end state. Leaving a Ukro rump state on EU balance sheets would be poetic justice.
I do disagree with his statement regarding Russia’s “infinite” natural resources. Oil and gas are finite resources. All the cheaply produced oil/gas in the world is long gone.
What remains is increasingly expensive to extract – fracking and deep ocean drilling being prime examples. When the point is reached where the energy produced is less than that required to develop new sources, or to maintain or replace production complexes, it’s over.
This also applies to “renewable” energy such as solar cells and wind turbines, which do not produce any where near enough energy to create new production complexes or replace those complexes when they wear out.
Most energy on Earth is some kind of converted solar energy. Even biofuels are formed using photosythesis to store solar energy into chemical bonds. 173,000 TW of solar energy strikes Earth at any given moment, that is in average 340MW/km2. And Russia has lot of km2.
Portion of this energy is absorbed by flora into chemical bonds, portion is absorbed by atmosphere and portion is absorbed by Earth crust and stored as heat. Earth crust is massive thermal buffer for solar energy. When running ground loop from your heat pump, you are actually tapping into this solar heat stored in Earth crust.
Lloyd, as a bonus item from a bountiful Creator, our heat pumps are also tapping into a gigantic natural nuclear reactor at the Earth’s core which has been self-running to warm the Earth for billions of years, and will continue to do so for long past the forseeable future. Another bountiful spinoff from the even bigger reactor that is the Sun.
“Anyone whose normal life consists in moving around the surface of a rock which is spinning around a nuclear furnace 92Million miles away, inevitably developes a seriously warped view of normality.” — Douglas Adams

Professor Eric Dollard would disagree with your assumptions about the sun and the earths core,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRSz9_mOdDw&list=PLE7JG_DnAFJmNqeQUcza7cXIN3M9UX6hs&index=1
Nikola Tesla knew that the earth was full of electricity,Navy communications.underwater, and AM radio stations all have a massive grid of very specific dimensions under the ground at the transmission towers,
It is pure speculation that the earth’s core is as you describe and also the sun,
Griffin Brock a young American scientist recently performed an experiment in which he measured the time lag difference in receiving the AM station signal through the air and through the ground.
The signal through the ground was arriving faster than Light speed while the Air signal was arriving at the speed of Light. The experiment was performed using a dual trace Ossiliscope.
This being the case Einsteins Relativity theory begins to look shaky.
The Earth’s core isn’t Iron. Iron isn’t that dense compared to many other metals (the only reason that we know them is because some is deposited near the surface in dissolved form in acidic water which then evaporated, leaving the metal behind.
Iron would be in an outer shell of the core. The core itself must, by necessity, be uranium and other extremely dense elements (including gold, which is brought up in the way I mentioned, in the presence of water containing chlorine and sulfur (hydrochloric acid + sulfuric acid = aqua regia, the only acid which dissolves gold. And now you understand why gold deposits are ALWAYS found with lots of sulfur compounds in the area, such as “fool’s gold” = Iron Pyrite = Iron Sulfide = FeS2)
The Soviets and now the Russians, believe in the abiotic origins of oil, so it is a natural replenishing source. Maybe not quickly replenishing, but definitely replenishing.
Oil is produced from the products of nuclear fission forming free hydrogen in the process, which eventually bonds with carbon. I wouldn’t be surprised if much of the carbon is also due to nuclear fission.
In my Physics and science book from the 1940’s it states that oil is not classed a fossil fuel and is unknown origin ,,the abiotic nature of oil was probably discovered later,This Fossil Fuel is BS when applied to mineral oil.
Of course the narrative had to be simplified for propaganda purposes,Green, that is.
YES! at last, someone here who has (or is showing) some natural science knowledge… geopolitical and military analysis are essential, but useless without acknowledging our disrupted planetary systems. Russia is already struggling (year on year) with record settings wildfires… And melting permafrost is crippling its infrastructures (roads, power lines, pipelines, eg [1] the Norilsk 2020 massive diesel leak used here [2] to slander Russia by our friends RFE/RL). And …. fossil fuels are renewables? -facepalm-

Only a fool would refer to RFE/RL as a credible source
The self-serving, unelected bureaucrats in Brussels won’t put a single Eurocent into rebuilding Ukraine, REGARDLESS of whether the Zelinsky regime wins loses.
Either way, they’ll wash their hands of it, and say, “well, you COULD HAVE solved the crisis through honest negotiations. It’s your fault that you took our suggestions to act unreasonably against a neighbor with virtually unlimited natural resources and 20x the population you do after attacking their cousins with artillery and snipers for 8 years.”
It is said the Russians are using 15% of their infantry in the Ukraine presently and gradually grinding the bulk of the 8 year NATO trained Ukrainian army into mince meat. Even if they could somehow gather a million men to fight they would still lose as hypersonic missiles tilt the playing field in Russia’s favor.
BTW the Russian army has 10 million trained reservists.
“So it’s no wonder “the aggressive revisionist course of the West requires a radical revision of Russia’s relations with unfriendly states.”
We should expect “a new edition of the Foreign Policy Concept of the Russian Federation” coming out soon.”
Does this mean Russia doesn’t call the collective west “partners” anymore?
I have found during my life on this planet, that it rarely pays to be arrogant. I have seen spectacular failures in peoples individual lives due to arrogance, nation states are no different. I see humbleness in Putin/Russia(no need to brag about our weapons/decisions have been taken, etc) and I see deep arrogance in the United States/NATO ( we will permanently weaken Russia, Russian failed military, Russia is a corrupt nation, etc.)
The world is changing/has changed, the United States refuses to accept that the unipolar world order is over and was largely brought down not by others but by the arrogance of the United States itself and it’s deep unwillingness to consider the viewpoint of the the “Other(other nations such as Russia/China/Middle East/South America/etc.)”. Putin for many years referred to the Americans/West as “Partners”, under his leadership Russia participated in the West’s unipolar institutions(WHO, G8, WTO, Etc.) as a largely responsible party. He didn’t flood Iraq/Afghanistan with Anti-Tank/ManPads system even though the opportunity to inflict casualties on the American military via proxy was there. Looking back Russia has been very responsible internationally under Putin’s leadership.
Contrast this with the United States who largely spawned the coup in 2014 in Ukraine. Putin was forced to act and take Crimea or lose a strategic base for the Russian military/navy. He also setup the buffer regions of the DNR/LPR to buy time. The US has been flooding Ukraine with weapons since the current SMO began and most likely much longer before in order to inflict a cost on Russian servicemen. In fact, during the opening stages of the SMO, we had the American military/media/government gleefully covering how much Russian servicemen were dying due to western weapons. This is not the way a responsible party acts on the international stage, it’s downright arrogance of the first order and as usual there will be a high price to pay.
Now to the calls, the US military/Pentagon does not want a boots on the ground confrontation with Russia, they have been trying to avoid that from the start. I suspect that out of all the government agencies/branches the US military is the one with the most to lose as they could be exposed fighting a peer adversary and perhaps being exposed that they are not “being all they could be”. Hence, I believe the Pentagon is keen on talking to the Russian military leadership, “hombre a hombre” to deconflict the situation, however this is trying to have it both ways and further reveals how dysfunctional Washington D.C has become even on deadly serious matters. The real entity spoiling for a real boots on the ground fight is the State Department with the Kagans/Hills/Nulands/PNAC neocon think thanks thrown in for good measure. They are delusional or perhaps don’t care about the number of American servicemen who would undoubtedly die even if the conflict stayed conventional. I honestly believe that these folks have embraced a “culture of death” and are downright evil, they frankly don’t care if Russian, Ukrainian, or US servicemen die , as long as they get their conflict and their way. They are no different or perhaps worse than the Narcos in Mexico who worship the “Santa Muerte/Sacred/Saint Death”.
Unfortunately(for the Pentagon), Russian leadership is united on this one, the Yeltsin era is over. It’s downright laughable and pathetic that Austin/Miley/U.S Military leadership think that they will be taken seriously by Russia after the Pentagon has directly contributed to the deaths of thousands of Russian servicemen during the SMO and tens of thousands of ethic speaking Russian civilians in the east of Ukraine since 2014. We have Austin who weeks ago in Ukraine publicly called for the weakening of the Russian military to a degree it could not ever attack Ukraine again as the goal for the Ukrainian operation and basically relegating Russia to a vassal/defensive only capable military(can you believe the arrogance of this statement). I thought at the time this was an extremely reckless thing to say for a US SecDef to be saying out loud, much less in Ukraine. This posture and statement will no doubt cost US Military lives in the future as it’s clear as day that any conflict the US finds itself in, it will be facing increased proxy weapons from both Russia and likely China in the form of ATGMs/Manpads at the very least. Not to mention that the sinking of the Movska will at some point at the Tim/place/choosing of the Russian leadership be addressed which will also result in a probable loss of a US naval asset. The targeting of Russian generals based of US intel will also be addressed no doubt.
The Pentagon is trying to a walk back all of the above, the fact that they think they can call and ask for ceasefire is the height of arrogance bordering on the pathetic. You have to wonder can it get more pathetic than this for the US empire?
Well said.
” I see humbleness in Putin/Russia… and I see deep arrogance in the United States/NATO ( we will permanently weaken Russia….)”
Me too. Particularly among our elected leaders. And it’s disconcerting and, at times, frightening.
But I do have hope in the American people who, themselves, are not intrinsically arrogant, but, instead, know the need for the humility that has been revealed to them in what is called the Beatitudes.
It may be that one reason for US arrogance is the firm belief that the current conflict is once again happening “over there”, some 5000 miles distant, which provides a psychological feeling of isolation, and inviolability.
An added problem (for the relatively sane) is that use of “battlefield” nuclear weapons does NOT require Presidential “permission”, and this extends to the lower-yield strategic weapons too. So there is a genuine risk that “someone, somewhere” could (and therefore eventually WILL) launch nuclear weapons. At present Russian forces have zero need for this capability, but the NATO / Kiev / AZOV forces?
VVP has made it abundantly clear as to the immediate retaliatory effects of such an action (especially as it most probably will be used against Russian civilian targets – cities near the contested border-lands), and this a path no-one wishes to tread, since (despite assurances from the “pro-Nuclear War” crowd), we really have NO idea of how bat “it” might be, although the rather disturbing BBC Docu-Drama “Threads” from the early 1980’s seems to provide a very realistic description of effects, short term, and much longer-term.
To not Waltzmann around the topic, and to not engage in elaborate politesse and cultural detente as to who the people you are at pains to describe are, why not simply refer to them as talmudo-satanists (small ‘t’, small ‘l’)? Whom could that possibly offend, except talmudo-satanists and no one, surely, will admit to being that.
Oh, they will object.
Look at the reaction among Jews after the movie “They Live” was released. “WHY IS HE ACCUSING US?!?!” when there’s not a single indication of any particular ethnicity being the problem, other than showing a small slice of some perniciously evil, dishonest and destructive behavior aimed at the American public.
It’s quite obvious that the Jews have a guilty conscience AND easily identified themselves as committing the crimes against humanity as depicted.
Director John Carpenter was blackballed by the Hollyweird establishment for that movie, and has never been able to receive funding for another large budget film since.
The 2% GDP nato demand from members is going to get interesting as their economies spiral. Hyperbole hyperinflation, hypersonics , fun times
Interesting thoughts from Mr. Escobar. The pro-Russia analysts have been right more often than the pro-NATO shills. But they too cherish overly optimistic estimations of their boys: saying things like “Russia is BRILLIANTLY shaping the battlefield”. Sure….
And, whatever his virtues, Putin clearly miscalculated the depth of russophilia in Ukraine; as well as the slithery chutzpah of NATO.
Now, in violation of every military dictum, Russia finds itself in a slow motion war with a country it should have wrecked within a week or two. For one, why is most of of Ukraine’s civil infrastructure allowed to happily hum along??? It should have all been target number one… on day one. And why not cut the fuel line to Europe at the very start? Not a lot of what Russia is doing in Ukraine adds up.
But perhaps Putin has a deeper game. Bleeding NATO before lowering his commodities boom? Learning the inner workings of NATO? Giving the lads some needed battlefield skills preparatory to the greater European conflagration he sees coming?
A strange game is playing out over there.
destroying civil infrastructure is a war crime – yes, that sounds strange for western ears.
All the contrary, it seems the Russian leadership very exactly estimate the situation.
A lot of little things point in that direction.
For example, the fact that Russia took eight full years of patiently building up technico-militar means, in order to strike with a limited in numbers (but still very impressive, ~80,000 is more than any NATO country can deploy right now) but very technically advanced. That is what you do when you prepare for a very hard fighting.
About the nonsense of Russia “should have” obliterated Ukraine… You have to realize that, contrary to NATO, Russians are not death-cultists. It is not in the goals of Russia to destroy humanity. And in the case of Ukraine particularly toucan clearly see that a lot is being done to diminish as much as possible suffering and destruction. You can also see how the allied (Russian, Donetsky and Lugansky armies) act on areas they control. How they interact with civilians, as well as with surrendered or captured enemies, even with Nazis and NATO “instructors”.
Clearly the Russian world produces a different soul and mindset than the West.
It won’t be done “fast and quick”. It wasn’t the plan.
You can see in Syria for the same pattern.
Why so? It may be frustrating (particularly to western arm general, indoctrined with the cult of speed) to see a slow pace, but it is necessary for the aimed goals.
The goals is NOT to kill and destroy a lot (that indeed can be done quickly), but to eradicate an evil idelogy.
The real battlefield is in the minds, the technical on the field fighting is only a mean to destroy the western illusion and make breaches to get to the minds. And time is necessary, as intoxicated minds need time to adapt to new realities.
If Russia were to quicky conquer all of Ukraine, it could have done so. But all the putrid Nazis minds would have remained intact, and the same problem would have been coming again in the future.
The goal (as clearly stated by Russian leadership; aren’t you able to read it!?) Is to DENAZIFY the Ukraine, not conquer it. A slow motion war gives time to reality to reach the minds, it opens the indoctrined minds to the fact that all their ideologic constructs lead to defeat.
Then, and only then, will they accept the ideological defeat and be able to switch to another, more humane, ideology.
But a too quick military advance will leave those intoxicated minds to build up narratives that they “could have won if”.
You know, that they lost because the west didn’t send enough weapons, or because of the winter, or because of the Jews, or because of surprise attack, or because the EU didn’t sanction Russia enough,… No, they must come to the conclusion they lost because of their own deeds. Only then would they be ready for denazification.
It will take time, yes. That is why Russia planned taking the time factor in consideration.
(note: the intoxicated minds are not only in Ukraine. A long war will contribute to denazification not only in Ukraine, but worldwide)
“…The goal (as clearly stated by Russian leadership; aren’t you able to read it!?) Is to DENAZIFY the Ukraine, not conquer it…”
It is puzzling why so many here and elsewhere don’t get that. It is a simple and easy to understand statement from Russia. But still we have concern trolls and the plainly ignorant bleating that Russia won’t do what the US does, ie total and utter destruction of cities and populations.
Maybe the dumbing down of the West’s populations, the masses that leave school semi-literate and unable to read for comprehension has something to do with this.
Then Russia will have to go into Western Ukraine too… because there are hordes of nazis there too. In any event they’ve been giving NATO plenty of time to scheme up new plans.
You’re welcome.
Yes, Russia will go there too.
Just not next week.
Well, maybe not Russia, maybe it will be a local antifascist army that could have emerged in the meantime.
Citizenfitz,
It looks like Russia and China are facilitating the ideal preconditions required for the US to do himself and world the favor of committing a nice Hara-kiri. Why bother get involved in a liar’s psychological problems?
Maskazer, that could be their aim. As Napoleon said: “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
But he also said: “Though you might lose a battle, be careful not to lose a minute.”
He also lost large in Russia….
Putin now appears resolved to slowly grinding the Ukrainian army down. It’s working but it is also giving NATO time to develop counter-strategies that could stymie him.
interesting…possible…also possible, putin & those few from yeltsin’s time (patroshev, lavrov, shoigu, glazynev) have all worked for this inevitable battle, & that grinding the ukrainian army down is the lesser pawn, nato, & her masters, are also being ground down. the skill of the game is to allow the drunk to grind himself without igniting a nuclear war. for it is ww3 & has been since yeltsin & the masterful stroke of ensuring putin’s election.
What counter-strategy does NATO have left?
Outsourcing more industry to China?
More international trade and monetary sanctions against a country which has only ONE reason for conducting international trade — importing women’s luxury goods?
Depleting NATO stocks of weapons which, if kept in their national inventories, would be in the hands of soldiers who can actually survive long enough on a battlefield to use them effectively (UFA/RF confrontations only end in favor of the UFA in bushes against RF scouting elements. The UFA had consistently lost EVERY battle of company sized engagement and larger.)
Giving weapons to the UKIES is flushing good hardware into the scrap heap. Most of them are getting killed before they can even engage the Russia/DPR/LPR forces opposing them. Nice trench networks….with zero overhead cover or camouflage after 8 long years of building them. It’s like they never heard the infantryman’s first rule:. Improve your position EVERY DAY until it is nearly invisible and/or impregnable, and after achieving that, MAINTAIN it as such. Their trenches are circa 1914, and would be laughed at by any soldier from the western front of even as early as 1916 for the many mistakesvin trench onstruction which were eliminated by the high cost of unnecessarily wounded and killed soldiers.
These idiots are wearing civilian winter jackets of various non-tactical colors rather than wearing additional layers underneath their uniform jackets. Their tactical sense is so poor that it’s as if the Ukranian people never had a military of any sort before 2014, and never received a bit of wisdom handed down from generation to generation of soldiers.
I am a military professional with 33 years of service.
I can not contradict the decisions made by the Russian forces, and given the resources which Putin has given them, I would take similar if not identical actions, even with the substantially lower level of Intel than the Russian Commanders have.
Let me explain:
In 1971, at the age of 6, while passing some hippies talking amongst themselves (“Never trust anyone over 30” didn’t make them consider that a 1st grade boy overhearing them night also lead to problems down the road), I realized immediately that these lunatics we’re intent on starting a war WORSE than the Vietnam (Civil) War right here in the U.S.
And so at the age of 10, after a friend received as a birthday gift a copy of the game “Gettysburg” published by the (sadly) now defunct conflict simulation publisher Avalon Hill , I started studying warfare.
I have worked the problems presented, usually from both sides (due to playing them out on several occasions, sometimes on one side, sometimes the other), in dozens of conflicts, and at scales from tactical to grand strategic. Lest you think that these games are “merely games”, read Gen Schwarzkopf’s autobiography, and where he goes into the process they used at ARCENT (REAR) HQ in Florida, where he instructed his NCOs to find every single copy of the Avalon Hill/Victory Games product “Gulf Strike” (covering the so recently concluded Iran-Iraq War of 1980-1988), had his staff make extensions to the game (in both maps and creating new pieces representing US, UK, Saudi, French, forces and coalition support elements such as transportation units, medical, etc). They then laid out 10 different games in the base gym (which was shut down for exercise so it could be used by the simulation teams).
Modern games don’t merely represent combat forces. Logistics and the units which execute logistics have been prominent parts of operational and strategic level conflict simulations for a good 30 years now, and even represented in some tactical level games (if only at an abstract level in such Avalon Hill releases as the Squad Leader/Cross of Iron/ Crescendo of Doom/ G.I. Anvil of Victory Games, later superceded by the Advanced Squad Leader series of games — publishing rights purchased by and currently exercised by Multi-Man Publishing)
Various overall plans were tried, simultaneously, on each of the 10 running games. Those that failed were thrown out, the games reset, with the successful operational plan being run again, with each one tweaked slightly in different ways, so as to refine the plan through iterative improvements.
To indicate how important wargaming is to military judgement, Schwarzkopf’s original plan was a frontal assault across the entire Iraqi line along the Saudi border. The game quickly disabused him of the idea that such a plan was feasible.
In contrast, my years of wargaming had me immediately seeing the correct plan in early October — start with small for es in place on front of the Iraqi line to keep them pinned in places, and then start attacking at the western flank and roll up the entire Iraqi line by attacking primarily the flank with additional forces coming in from the rear, moving eastwards as the western end of the line dissolves by overwhelming force.
I was a mere private first class at that time, and only 5 months after the conclusion my AIT school for my first MOS as a Radio Operator in a National Guard unit which I joined after my engineering education.
Sadly, Schwarzkopf didn’t come up with the flanking operation which was OBVIOUS to me…it was suggested by a retired fighter pilot John Boyd, who is famous in military circles for his concept of the OODA Loop as a description of combat decision-making processes. He first derived it from dogfighting combat, but it is generally applicable for any competitive situation, including sports and business)
Somebody on Twitter see’s how things are going:
A joke: Macron had an accident that left him in a coma. He woke up after twenty years, he went out for a cup of coffee. He asked the waiter “How did the war in Ukraine end?”. Waiter: “It ended well.” Macron was happy, and asked: “How much is the coffee?” Waiter: 3 Rubles!
Lol 🤣🤣
I can imagine the look on his face
Priceless
Since Macron is Rothschild, he likely already had a Ruble account. Still most of his money is in the Channel Islands :
Emmanuel Macron’s hidden fortune

“How much is the coffee?” Waiter: 3 Rubles!”
It happened before in 1814. Hence Bistros. “быстро, быстро”
I’d be curious to hear more about the call from Breadline Joe’s AA Pentagon chief Austin…
I heard Shoigu told him – Sorry, you’ll have to call back later, I’m doing the dishes.
ok, the west vassal states and population is kept in limbo, completely out of reality. This information will not reach the shepple brains. What Russia could do (and they dont) is.
– Provide zone B countries with extensive detailed information about the found evidences including, and above all, names and financial ties. I am talking about China, Iran, India, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Indonesia, South Africa and other countries that can escape at a certain extent from the imperial information AND financial dome.
– Seize all possible SUPPOSELY IMPARTIAL international organisation and NGOs with the information taken. At least they will not be able to claim plausible deniability.
– Flood the Russian and allies informational fields with a plethora of shows, documentaries, debates, films, art works, songs and everyrhing pertaining to spectacle and culture reporting of the biowarfare, the US oligarchy thefts and so no. This is a huge endevour which will need to decisevely boost the Russian audiovisual space. I have seen them improve their productions significantly in the last decade. They have overcome their shyness and produce much smarter and bold material.
Will Russia face these challenges?
Will they target the heart of the beast or just hold their horses and keep the statu quo?
–
“going public with illegal work on banned biological weapons” …. “Fully exposing the whole maze, from the start, was one of Putin’s stated objectives”.
From the start? I’d really like to see documentation on this. I’ve followed each and every letter on Russian side but claims revolving around these programs and facilities seems to have started not before the operation or as any specific objective at the time. If anything, it acts now like a stand-in for the unsuccessful military-political counter-coup in Kiev through Hostomel airport in the first days. The biological labs offers much needed political leverage. This is also the art of war, seizing opportunities when they arise when other scenarios don’t pan out. If the labs were developing “weapons”, doubtful, but clearly operating outside US/EU regulation on safety, providing a way to funnel money, jobs and development into Ukraine. Questionable ethics for sure.
Of course they were trying to develop weapons. What else do you think bioweapons labs are for? Surely you don’t believe the lies about how “we weaponize the microbes and synthesize microbial weapons in order better to deal with natural pathogens for the sake of public health”?
We know for a fact that imperial institutions care nothing for public or individual health and do all they can to degrade these. Ergo the labs are not there for the sake of public health but to develop bioweapons against it. The entire evidence record, now greatly bolstered by the Russian investigation, bears this out.
The “We know for a fact that imperial institutions care nothing for public or individual health and do all they can to degrade these” is totally natural, they just optimize their manouver-space / control authority.
The fundamental error all these systems have is a wrong understanding of what statehood is and it’s subject, object relations – statehood being the Object rather than the Subject, The Subject being the States population of which it’s State is an organ, a facility nothing more (The Object becoming Subject due to it’s power is a perversion, and will always be punished without mercy).
In such a case it’s impossible for the State not to care for the public’s and individual’s health, because he has no other objective.
It’s the eggregorial (subconscious being) common spirit of the community which beside other things also manifests itself in the State’s institutions, NOT the other way around, which is demonism coupled with secret societies and brotherhoods and Public Relations idiocy (the dissolution of meaning)….an old story yes…
What we have in the ‘West’ is that statehood and it’s population being the object of the hidden Subjects – the so called ‘Elite’ which are nothing of that sort, but instead simply idiotic scum – they always were.
The System they devoloped is a sinful waste of human spirit and power. It was tolerated as long the alternative devoloped under the surface (being in god’s grace and thus nurtured). With the advent of the atomic bomb and it’s inherent drive to globalize the world under a new banner, the old must perish and will persih either way to make room for a more efficient and just system in regards to human ressources and it’s development.
There is no way around this – none !
To note – God’s – sense of humor, on one side we have a demented geratric and an under age mentally impaired who are parading the banner of the ‘Elites’ (not to mention the more zoological forms who establish themselves…) and on the other side men who can lecture an audience for hours without script….
Difficult to choose ? No, definetly not !
Putin was talking about the bioweapons labs as early as last October, saying that the US was planning on executing a false flag bio-warfare attack and blaming Russia for it
Good analysis, for which I would say parabens! Some points that keep puzzling me remain, however:
1) Why on earth would Turkey want to buy that overpriced flying junk called F-35. Might it be because, as Philippe Grasset has been pointing out since over 20 years, that the F-35 will prove to be the undoing of NATO? Or is it because the entire project is so utterly corrupt, that Erdogan wants some of his buddies to be able to get at the pork barrels as well?
Moreover, since the Turks apparently go for quality arms (S-400), why don’t they try to acquire Russian aircraft as well? Or is it because the Turks, like their Byzantine predecessors, are the undisputed world champions of diplomacy and high-level deceit?
2) The “Western” propaganda narrative is indeed crumbling and can hardly be maintained in face of all the info and videos coming from where the fighting is being done. The crumbling seems to be more rapid than the crumbling of the Covid-narrative. Hence, the collapse of the “Western” narrative would be the outcome of a longer process that started with the Fall of “Real Existing Socialism” when all those inflated stories about the evil commies, repeated ad nauseam since 1948, proved to be fake.
3) If there is a real schism taking place, why would Russia (and China, for that matter) still remain a member of organisations such as the WTO, WHO and all those other outfits, including notably the WMO, peddling the anthropogenic climate change hoax?
Yes why would they?
Why would they keep producing MRNA injections which they are planning to push on young kids who are at statistically zero risk from “Covid” and begging the WHO to give their “approval?”
Why would they keep selling oil to very same countries that “want destroy them” completely, and who use that oil to ship weapons into Ukraine to kill Russian soldiers?
Shall we continue…..? No we might break the echo chamber here.
Oh wait! Yes Pepe, everything you are thinking is correct! How do you do it? You are even correct about NATO building a new army in western Ukraine, but Ritter is wrong when he says the same thing.
Valid points except oil they could source elsewhere and I think Russia gets the greatest benefit.
Note winter is coming. Heating will be key.
I also agree on need to be objective. No war is all one way.
I am African, educated in West, trained in West and East in combat.
Russia is well liked in Africa but they very much keep themselves to themselves. I wish they would engage more. We hear West talking alot. Russia outreach could be better. It would find friends in many places if it just engaged countries a bit more. It would also be helpful to us to get more informaton from Russian representatives in Africa.
Africa is going to continue to be the fastest growing zone in the world over the next decade. Middle class is now very large and well educated.
We don’t trust the West but we aspire to be educated and live there or have a holiday home there. We respect their meritocracy and formerly, their internal rule of law.
We don’t trust China. It’s more open and direct for sure but it also exploits Africa. Off the shore of Kenya huge Chinese chips hoover up all our fish illegally and we don’t have the navy to chase them off.
Russia if it plays a smart game can win alot in Africa. It is more familiar and trusted by us than China and less despised and feared than America. It’s vassals we are not much bothered with.
Right now EU is trying to impose transgender agenda on Africa and Caribbean using the EU- ACP draft agreement. It replaced the word sex with gender thinking we won’t notice and that we don’t know that West consider gender a choice.
So we are sick of them.
In Russia I hope after this they engage more and are a open and direct but fair business partner.
US is very big dealing arms here,so is Germany, UK etc.
We are very interested in Russia weapons. There is certainly more business and cooperation to be done.
A word of caution. Don’t trust the West. But don’t fully trust China either. India and South Africa are probably the most genuine friends Russia has.
1a) “the entire project is so utterly corrupt, that Erdogan wants some of his buddies to be able to get at the pork barrels as well?” Exactly. They had been integrated into the western MIC in making F35 parts and want back into the racket. And every pork barrel rind counts when your economy is tanking. And Turks can actually make things unlike most of NATOstan and needs to keep their war industries busy.
1b) “why don’t they try to acquire Russian aircraft as well?” They have. All sentients know which weapons systems work reliably, are battle tested, and won’t suck the economy and the very soul out of recipient countries. Erdogan was even given ice cream by Putin during this “fashion show.” I think Su-75 export analogues of the Su-57 were later ordered? Many countries are salivating and contributing to increasing obsolescence of western MIC..
https://asiatimes.com/2019/08/erdogan-ponders-alternatives-at-russian-air-show/
2) “The crumbling seems to be more rapid than the crumbling of the Covid-narrative.” Yes. Countering the reality of Operation Z has become mission impossible for the Crap Content Creators. So they segued right back to another safe plague narrative. The ongoing fortuitous “money-pox” plague.
3) They are on their way out of all western-corrupted and dominated international institutions, especially the WTO and WHO. You will not hear this broadcast in western MSM and Zone B will not publicize until they are about active.. Say Hello to the Great Bifurcation.

Btw, the Russian and/or Donbass war crimes tribunal component on bioweapons should be a doozer, slated to open in mere weeks if the original June timeline is maintained. And Lady Victoria is officially invited!

The Commies (i.e. the Bolsheviks = Ashkenazi Jews) were and remain evil.
Do not confuse the Russian public (which rejects communism) with their tormenters and oppressors who hijacked the Russian government in 1918 with the funding of (((New York bankers)) and some 500 cohethnics from the lower east side of Manhattan.
Always a pleasure to read Pepe Escobar’s analyses. And things are looking up, up, up for humanity!
For my country [US], things are indeed on a definite downward spiral. But I can live with that (for now).
And hey! Maybe eventually we can surrender to Russia and apply for foreign aid, a la “The Mouse that Roared.”
It’s wrong.
In France, even the most pro-ukie media don’t say that Ukraine is winning.
Absolutly none.
They say Russia is bad, vicious than ukrainian people suffer, that poor heroic nazi fighter suffer. They say all kind off bullshits and lies but none of them say that Ukrain is winning.
Furthermore, the knew minister of defense was untill yesterday the ambassador of France in UK where she was charged of the “post brexit war” against british.
Several African countries asked Russia to attack them in order to receive $40 billion from the United States😂
Fox News is not placing Ukraine “news” in the front pages for last few days. CNN, BBC and the lot has one (or two) “news” on the front page, but are just not exactly news. They completely forget to say anything about Azovstal Nazis unconditional surrender. By the way, some TV stations in certain EU/NATO countries had taken off the Ukrainian flag on one corner, and the anchors had taken off the blue-yellow ribbons off their shirts, blouses and coats. Well?
Russia is about to introduce its strategic drones, TOTALLY STEALTH, of more than 20 tons and a war range of between 1200 and 2000 kms.
its cruising speed is between 800 and 1000 kilometers per hour.
As far as I know, there is currently nothing like this in the world, including China.
They have been designed to interact with the new generation Russian fighters (SU 57 and Checkmate) through artificial intelligence.
It was scheduled to be introduced in 2024 but it is possible that due to circumstances they will enter service in 2023.
If they do enter service, the military impact will be even deeper than hypersonic missiles.
Does that mean that Natostan has lost Azovstan ?
“Russia could even entertain the hypothesis of getting a mighty return on those stolen funds. A great deal of Western assets – totaling as much as $500 billion – may be nationalized if the Kremlin so chooses.”
This has been an option from the start but what I want to know is whether the $500 billion dollar figure is right or what it ought to be. The over riding of intellectual property rights is important as well.
folks, suddently just looking for a way out, I thought one inthinkable.
Is there a thinnest slight hypothesis of bad Vlad s perverse mind contemplate the following:
“We grab all of 404 center, east and south but this swatch of land from Odessa to transnistria may be negotiated. We could keep it top secret. Is an exit door in the Black Sea worth anything? The alternative is a suez canal. What in hell tangible would you offer in exchange ?”
China is very quiet in all of this, tellingly so. I sense the biggest surprises for the Empire of Lies is yet to come as in the coming crunch the Global South discovers who it can truly trust.
As usual Pepe Escobar’s witty and clever approach! The NATOstan meme is very good, but following Kremlin spokesperson Zakharova, when Macron did utter truth in 2019 – that NATO is” brain-dead”, :
“From the point of view of the logic of the Elysee Palace, everything is clear: the organization, which “lost its brain”, urgently needed new members. Donors?”
Does anyone notice the humor? The very famous story of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, a Golem patched together from stolen human members, the last organ was the brain. ..
So, it is clear Sweden and Finland are the brains of FrankeNATOstein!
And China has noticed, as usual with a great cartoon : Blood transfusion for the modern Frankenstein

There is a monster roaming the planet, and as no one could remember its Name, the Golem could not be stopped and just killed everyone.

Good one :)
Thumbs up, thank you :)
“It’s now confirmed by one of my top intel sources. The call was a direct consequence of panic. The United States Government (USG) by all means wants to scotch the detailed Russian investigation – and accumulation of evidence – on the US bioweapon labs in Ukraine,”
With an “Intel” person as the source, it’s hard to know if it is an evaluation or if it’s trying to stir things up to create controversy in that regard. The latter is more likely, naturally. This impression is reinforced by the fact that the phone conversation described turns out to have been only about the SMO (in this article as elsewhere).
“Moscow is fully aware that going public with illegal work on banned biological weapons is an existential threat to the US Deep State.”
It would be like wishful thinking. Such major discrediting or reputation damage could happen only through a multinational effort, and this could only happen in a different world of different superpowers. This will most likely just become a part of propaganda efforts to discredit the U.S., but the effects of that (effort) are modest by comparison. It can have a bigger effect, together with other issues, in the context of war.
“the US has declared an all-round Hybrid War on Russia.”
For the sake of analysis and clarity, the concept “hybrid war” is not necessary. The Russian FM used it too, didn’t he?
There is only one war, the SMO. The Labs, the sanctions, the declarations, the weapons deliveries, and anything or everything else only matter insofar as their effect on the SMO is concerned. They do not affect the SMO in the final Russia vs. Ukraine outcome, which Russia also says, but which is something clear to mere newspaper readers (before even a war between these two countries begins).
We know on our own and from declarations from the Russian FM and others that the SMO plan “evolves.” It changes based on what happens. From the other side, Zelensky says it only begins in Ukraine. Plenty of others seconded him. The truth is that not even Russia knows where it ends. This is true even when a fight between two persons starts. (Some prudent fathers for this reason teach their children to fight only if the other one starts punching.) You can disagree with Russia, but it is a matter of fact and obvious that it tried to avoid the SMO, that it asked Ukraine to keep the Minsk agreements, and that it asked and made clear that Ukraine must not join NATO, because it considered this an existential threat. It knew the SMO is a very dangerous thing. The one who launches it knows only one thing, logically speaking: “That it will end where it must end” (the ‘unknown known’). I think they have even said so. Consequently, can the “biological Labs” affect the SMO itself? Yes! No matter what they say! Can declarations affect the SMO? Yes! Some of us hope – “hope against hope” – for the war to end in a week through a negotiated end.
Huge moments in our human history indeed.
Yep, go Pepe ! Scott Ritter can go suck a big one, this is the bigger picture. The US supplying fracked gas across the Atlantic while destroying the US environment, at two or 3 times the cost, utter non sense. US MSM is now nothing but a freak show, a house of funny mirrors. Granted the US public is largely brain dead, but reality will soon enough be biting that public on the ass.
All americans out of Europe!!!!!! Except fat tourists.
We need more and more to strengthen the alternative channels to a multidimensional vision, this is one of the paths to the evolution of humanity, this is urgent! Congratulations Pepe Escobar for this expanded vision…!
“By controlling the Sea of Azov – already a de facto “Russian lake” – and subsequently the Black Sea, Russia will have total control of export routes for the region’s world-class grain production. Extra bonus: total exclusion of NATO.”
There is a serious attempt to make the Trans-Caspian alternative means for transporting goods from Central Asia to Europe. What is worse and all too familiar the US Embassy is partnering with Azerbaijan to bolster maritime security on the Caspian Sea and defeat narcotics traffickers along the borders.
17 May 2022 16:47 USAID explores opportunities for increasing Trans-Caspian trade NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is conducting a study tour to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, to find opportunities to increase trade along the Trans-Caspian route on May 16-24, 2022. This international transport corridor is an alternative means for transporting goods from Central Asia to Europe, having great potential for trade and business development. Recently Central Asian governments have placed great focus on increasing the transport of cargo via the Caspian Sea, as traders encounter growing problems in moving their goods through the current transit routes, the official website of the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Kazakhstan reads. This study tour is being implemented by USAID’s Trade Central Asia activity in collaboration with the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) and KazLogistics, the Union of Transport workers of Kazakhstan. In his welcoming remarks USAID/Central Asia’s Regional Trade Officer, Robert Parker, stated that the «Trans-Caspian Corridor route can play an important role as a means to trade goods from Central Asia with Caucasus and European countries. USAID welcomes the cooperation of these countries, and supports decisions that will lead to an increase of regional trade and investments.» A delegation of over 40 customs representatives and staff of transport policy government agencies of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as members of the Central Asia Transport and Logistics Partnership, are visiting the Caspian Sea ports at Alyat and Kuryk, and the Batumi Port on the Black Sea. They are studying each port’s pricing policy, reviewing processes utilized, and learning about digitization initiatives, thereby helping them develop recommendations for further simplifying procedures.

US proud to partner for Azerbaijan to bolster maritime security on Caspian Sea – embassy
Politics Materials 18 May 2022 16:25
BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Earle Litzenberger welcomed a delegation from the US European Command Joint Interagency Counter Trafficking Center to discuss Department of Defense security cooperation with Azerbaijan, the embassy said on Twitter, Trend reports.
“The US Embassy is proud to partner for Azerbaijan to bolster maritime security on the Caspian Sea and defeat narcotics traffickers along the borders,” said the embassy.

And a huge-LOL on the “the unwavering commitment of the United States to the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kazakhstan.”
Khazakhstan and Washington enhanced strategic partnership
Minister Tileuberdi emphasized that in line with the multi-vector foreign policy, Kazakhstan will continue to strengthen cooperation with the United States. «Over 30 years of diplomatic relations, our bilateral cooperation has been brought to the level of an enhanced strategic partnership,» the Minister noted. In his turn, Secretary Blinken stressed that «our partnership is based on the unwavering commitment of the United States to the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kazakhstan.»

USAID? In Kazakhstan?! This is unbelievable. Thanks for the update.
I hope there are measures in the drawer which can be rapidly implemented among EAC (Eurasian Customs Union) and SCO countries: Either EAC/SCO or USAID. Kazakhstan and other heartland countries should make up their mind.
The tentacles of Langley, Soros and WEF-linked fifth columnists of all shapes and colors and their accomplices ought to be hunted down and eliminated like terrorists, or else there will be instability in the heartland forever.
Interesting related posts:
Infamous neo-Nazi from ”Azov” David ”Chemist” Kasatkin who killed at least one prisoner of war, ethnic Armenian from Russia called Edgar. He was seen alive on a video and was later found dead in a dumpster in handcuffs with signs of torture.
He also threatened to kill and sexually assault Chechen leader’s (Kadyov’s) mother and children.
He surrendered in Azovstal. (Bad news for him I figure. But lets see in the next post)

And here we are:
In the Rostov pre-trial detention center, surrendered Nazis are preparing to meet a VIP visitor
A personal meeting between Ramzan Kadyrov and the detained militant David Kasatkin is planned. (Ooops, lol)
In addition, David was identified by tattoos, he tortured Russian soldiers.Previously David threatened to kill Chechen commanders, personally Kadyrov and his children, insulted his mother, and threatened to rape his daughters.
There are many swastikas and Nazi symbols among the tattoos on the body.

Good summary except the prediction near the end that a new improved Ukrainian Army 2.0 will emerge. I doubt it and, as much as I hate the thought of being in agreement with Austin and Milley, their actions indicate that they doubt it also.
Good summary except for the prediction near end that a new improved Ukrainian Army 2.0 will emerge. I doubt it and, as much as I don’t like to be in agreement with Generals Austin and Milley, their actions indicated that they doubt it also.
Reading the forword tells me much already. In one sentence you described 4th Generation Warfare. The unique feature of 4GW is using other than military means.
An article today on RT gives Zelensky’s take on the Azovstal surrender (yes they are giving him space for propaganda,SMH). He implies that they will get the Azov nazis back. And then cryptically adds if the UN, the Red Cross and Russia follow through on their commitments. Now normally I’d just think he was lying trying to save face for the surrender. And I still do think that is probably what he is doing. Russia has after all announced more than 2,400 Ukrainian combatants, including their commanders, have surrendered.
But there is one thing that does concern me. Of the three Azov/Ukie commanders that were constantly shown on the internet broadcasting propaganda from Avozstal’s tunnels, only one of them has been shown on a video in custody so far. While the other two have been shown on net broadcasts since then. It can’t be as some suggest that maybe the other two were never really there to begin with.Because the one shown in custody was making broadcasts side by side with one of the other two throughout the siege. So what can that mean. I’m hoping there was no agreement that released those other two for some reason or other. Those two I believe are the actual Avoz members while the one shown in Russian custody is a Ukie military man.
Letting those other two escape the surrender would be too great a propaganda coup for the Ukie’s to be permitted for whatever reason. So hopefully soon we see video of those two in custody and that worry can be laid to rest:
https://www.rt.com/russia/555877-zelensky-azovstal-surrender-ukraine/
PS,there is one thing more that suggests that the videos coming from the Azovstal tunnels were made earlier than we were told they were from. The captured commander shown in the surrender video has much longer hair than he has in the other videos. If it was the other way around and his hair was now shorter that could be easily explained. But it being longer tell us the other videos weren’t made when we were told they were. The same is true of the new video from the other Azov nazi commander that used to broadcast videos side by side with the commander shown surrendering. His new video shows him with longer hair. So yeah, there are still many questions.

Dear Pepe Escobar,
I must say I was wowed by your wonderful article. From the merger of facts, to your style of writing, you bet I had to read it twice. And if I am to pick up a career in journalism am sure I would take a cue from you.
Faithfully yours,
Samuel.
It does worry me that the exposing the US bio weapons program is an existential threat to the US deep state. Why? Because if they are not given some opportunity to get out of this, they will end up deciding to take us all out with them. “If I can’t have it, no-one can!”
– All of that takes time. Yet Russia may have all the time in the world, as we all keep listening to the sound of the collective West spiraling down.
No. There are too many unknowns these days to predict what will happen. Will there be famine, more “pandemics”, a GOP run US after midterm …
I doubt that the Kiev regime can recruit, train and field a ‘new’ army in west Ukraine in just a few months. It would take a minimum of 18 months even if they can find enough officers and NCOs to form the backbone and if the rest of the young men don’t run away (I would). And then there is the two-fold problem of supply (fuel, weapons, vehicles, armour and ammo) and lack of air cover.
If (when) the Ukronazi army is crushed in Donbass I suspect it is all over.
Pepe from his Telegram channel. Of course there was animated discussion on this sentence.
So Pepe says … “Martyanov is right on Western Ukraine. I should have emphasized the conditionalities – as it stands a 404 “New Model Army” is American wishful thinking.
“1.The economic/logistics complex from Kharkov to Odessa – along Donetsk, Luhansk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Nikolaev – is intimately linked with Russian industry.”
“2.By controlling the Sea of Azov – already a de facto “Russian lake” – and subsequently the Black Sea, Russia will have total control of export routes for the region’s world-class grain production. Extra bonus: total exclusion of NATO.”
“3.All of the above suggests a concerted drive for the development of an integrated agro-heavy industry complex – with the extra bonus of serious tourism potential.”
Darn Pepe,I’ve been saying all that for 8 years now. And now you come and take my ideas, lol. Maybe now people will stop doubting it. The advantages to Russia will be enormous if that comes to pass.

I love my country but I abhor the people who hijacked my government with unprecedented levels of election fraud.
“Russia isn’t winning fast enough” is pure Washington/London/Tel Aviv projection of how they would try to fight Ukraine, with no consideration for civilian casualties nor destruction of civilian infrastructure.
Forbes
Alexander Solzhenitsyn On The New Russia
May, 1994
https://www.forbes.com/2008/08/05/solzhenitsyn-forbes-interview-oped-cx_pm_0804russia.html?sh=e6e70585f538
Forbes preface:
“For Americans, many of whom still tend to regard Russia through a Cold War-distorting lens, Solzhenitsyn’s passionate defense of Russia makes moving reading.
He ends the interview on a somewhat cryptic note, saying that one day the U.S. will have serious need of Russia as an ally against a threat he refused to name. What threat? On other occasions, Solzhenitsyn has warned of an expansionist China, about resurgent Islam and other dangers from the so-called Third World.
PK: Tension is mounting between Russia and the now independent Ukraine, with the West strongly backing Ukrainian territorial integrity. Henry Kissinger argues that Russia will always threaten the interests of the West, no matter what kind of government it has.
AS: Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, [historian] Richard Pipes and many other American politicians and publicists are frozen in a mode of thought they developed a long time ago. With unchanging blindness and stubbornness they keep repeating and repeating this theory about the supposed age-old aggressiveness of Russia, without taking into consideration today’s reality.
PK: Well, what about Ukraine? Hasn’t Russia made threats toward several of the former U.S.S.R. member states?
AS: Imagine that one not very fine day two or three of your states in the Southwest, in the space of 24 hours, declare themselves independent of the U.S. They declare themselves a fully sovereign nation, decreeing that Spanish will be the only language. All English-speaking residents, even if their ancestors have lived there for 200 years, have to take a test in the Spanish language within one or two years and swear allegiance to the new nation. Otherwise they will not receive citizenship and be deprived of civic, property and employment rights.
What would be the reaction of the United States? I have no doubt that it would be immediate military intervention.
But today Russia faces precisely this scenario. In 24 hours she lost eight to 10 purely Russian provinces, 25 million ethnic Russians who have ended up in this very way–as “undesirable aliens.” In places where their fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers have lived since way back–even from the 17th century–they face persecution in their jobs and the suppression of their culture, education and language.
PK: Former U.S. National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski disagrees. He argues that the U.S. must defend the independence of Ukraine.
AS: In 1919, when he imposed his regime on Ukraine, Lenin gave her several Russian provinces to assuage her feelings. These provinces have never historically belonged to Ukraine. I am talking about the eastern and southern territories of today’s Ukraine.
Then, in 1954, Khrushchev, with the arbitrary capriciousness of a satrap, made a “gift” of the Crimea to Ukraine.
PK: At the heart of all this is a central question: What about Russia and the U.S.? Are we historic rivals?
AS: Before the [Russian] revolution, they were natural allies. You know that during the American Civil War, Russia supported Lincoln and the North [in contrast to Britain and France, which supported the Confederacy]. Then, we were effectively allies in the First World War. But beginning with communism, Russia ceased to exist. What is there to talk about? The confrontation was not at all with Russia but with the communist U.S.S.R.
…
…
PK: None of them a threat to the U.S.?
AS: If one looks far into the future, one can foresee in the 21st century such a time when the U.S. together with Europe will be in dire need of Russia as an ally.
PK: That is a puzzling assertion.
AS: It is puzzling only for those who don’t look into the future and do not see what kind of new powers are arising in the world.”
This interview was just three years after Pres. George HW Bush’s “New World Order” speech at the UN during the First Gulf War invasion of Iraq. Could the “threat he refused to name” have been Fascism ascendant in the US under the son of the known Fascist Prescott Bush, Hitler’s private US banker during WWII? And GHWB’s aligned Fascist international organization, the World Economic Forum, which has given rise to The Great Reset, aka New World Order, aka Build Back Better? Is Russia fulfilling Solzhenitsyn’s prophecy, ordinary Americans and Europeans in dire need of Russia as an ally against the US and world’s Fascist leaders overthrowing western democracies?
Fascinating video about the bloodlines of those in the current US State Department, US Gov, NGOs and how they tie into a generational grudge against Russia. http://www.bitchute.com/video/3sgengf5mdXU/
Unbelievable how these parasites hold on to grudges generation after generation.
I don’t believe this will be solved through any diplomacy or negotiation.
When you’ve got people occupied in the West who are bloodthirsty and will have nothing less than Russia’s demise because of something that happened to their ancestors, there is no negotiated settlement.
These people are literally insane and Russia and its allies will hopefully disable these bloodthirsty demons destroying not only Ukraine but the West.
They hate Americans as much as they hate Russians.
