Russia: “We are ready for dialogue” Shoigu tells West to stop frightening their people
Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke about the Russian military presence in Syria, during an interview with VGTRK (Rossiya-1) in Moscow, Sunday, stating that there “are many of our compatriots from Russia and from countries of the former Soviet Union.” fighting on the side of the militants.
Shoigu noted that the Russian military presence was “needed there to deal with these bandits on the distant approaches.”
The Russian Defence Minister mentioned miscommunication with the US about the positions of the so-called moderate opposition saying “where is the moderate opposition? They couldn’t say.”
Shoigu addressed the West saying “I repeatedly tell them to stop frightening their own people,” adding that “we would like our colleagues to stop at some stage and realise that we are ready for dialogue.”
SOT, Sergei Shoigu, Russian Defence Minister, (Russian): “Our base is needed there to deal with these bandits on the distant approaches. Today we understand how relevant the statement was of our President when he said that there [in Syria] are many of our compatriots from Russia and from countries of the former Soviet Union. This place is like a magnet that attracts the supply of weapons. I say ‘absolutely’ consciously, because I know what I am talking about. The heaviest suicide bombers are in infantry combat vehicles, ICV. When they put the person inside, make the hatch, put two hundred kilograms of explosives. Who is this? Is it the moderate opposition, whom we do not allow to leave the city? Who is it? And whoever is behind them, they say, no, they are the fighters for the bright future. But I don’t understand such fighting methods. We are talking to our colleagues: tell us where is the moderate opposition. This was our first issue and our first proposal. Where should we not strike? Where is the moderate opposition? They couldn’t say. Okay, then tell us, where to strike, where exactly are the terrorists, ISIS, Al-Nusra Front and those who are assigned to them? Also does not work. There are many things that are to be discussed with our American colleagues.”
SOT, Sergei Shoigu, Russian Defence Minister, (Russian): “What is the thing that we are standing against? We say: guys, a balance is established. If you use the situation, dispersal of hysteria to supplement the budget so that defence enterprises receive additional income, this is your own business. But I repeatedly tell them to stop frightening their people. Because those who are educated, those who can count to a hundred, have long had the understanding. I don’t know and don’t understand why that should go further. We would like our colleagues to stop at some stage and realise that we are ready for dialogue.”
When are Russians going to learn you can’t plea to sociopaths hell-bent on their own long term diabolical agenda?
I have always asked myself this question….
I believe the Russians really want to avoid war as much as possible, and therefore spend some of their energy to try to talk common sense to the Americans (Western Alliance)……while at the same time preparing for the inevitability of war.
The Russians hope that someone in power might actually be willing to listen, but what is more important is that the Russians want to have a clear conscience that they have done their best in trying to communicate with their adversaries…
…..the Russians have to clear their conscience for the historic records that they have done everything possible to avoid the coming nuclear war..
And to everyone on Earth who still is doubting that there will be a coming nuclear war……the fact that the Russians have resorted to this form of communication, almost bordered on begging the West to have some common sense, is proof in itself that the coming nuclear war is inevitable in my honest opinion.
JJ.
Think about this situation
Surely you must realise he is not just talking to the west.
He is explaining to the Russian people what is happening and all that he and the govt are doing to avert war.
To keep your country United the people need to see that the govt is acting correctly.
Yes, their agenda never stops, it justs redirects to a new sideshow when blunted temporarily at one front.
Take Turkey for example here. This is the very thing one would see as a lead-in agitprop if fomenting a week to months long full out attack on that rogue rednecky sultan, who of course is most undemocratic & keeping his own people down on the farm, fomenting foreign wars (no mention who is supplying the goods) to pave the way for some kind of surgical strike, commando or otherwise, to “reclaim” those nukes!
recall back to before GW I, & then II the mass hysteria whipped up and served hourly for months.
‘US nuclear weapons in Turkey at risk of seizure by hostile forces’
http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2016/08/15/480108/US-nuclear-weapons-terrorists
A large number of American nuclear weapons stored at Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base are at risk of being seized by “terrorists or other hostile forces,” according to a Washington think tank.
The United States has stored about 50 atomic bombs at Incirlik in southern Turkey, about 110 kilometers from the border with Syria, where Washington and Ankara are engaged in a proxy war against the country, providing support to terrorist groups fighting against the Syrian people and government.
“Because those who are educated, those who can count to a hundred, have long had the understanding.”
:D
Translation: Get out of the way or get bombed. You fool no one.
Shoigu and the Russian military command are operating the finest military on the planet. It’s not the largest or most powerful. But it is built for the jobs it faces. The US and NATO are built for destroying third world armies and creating chaos with interventions and regime change. It cannot fight terror. But it does a great job of spreading it.
So, the more the US embeds with its moderates and rebels, the more likely Russia will be destroying those elements along with the terrorists.
Since September, Russia and the US have discussed reality on the ground. The US refuses to let go of its proxies. Russia is intent on destroying those proxies. Shoigu clearly indicates this is now long term policy. And Russia will not deviate.
Out of subjet. I ve been trying a few times to visit RT but the server is down, It worries me a bit, hope it is temporarily.
Use Tor: RT is online but cannot be reached from many Western countries due to continuous DoS attacks.
It has been in the news:

and

I wish I could tell Mr. Shoigu directly, that he shouldn’t worry about the anti-Russia hysteria being fed to the public. The public is not buying it.
The only ones buying it are your usual suspects, basically talking to each other in an insane echo-chamber, saying: Russia is bad, Russia is a threat (etc) Yup, yup, we should put more funds into NATO or whatever.
Regular people know Russia is not a threat at all, they have real, bigger, and more immediate problems to worry about, like terrorist attacks to name one example.

^ Go to the comments, see what people are saying. The nay sayers (mostly hailing from the States) are a tiny minority, their level of ignorance on anything to do with up-to-the-moment geopolitics makes them stand out like a sore thumb.
To Mr. Shoigu, I’d say, the people know the score, but the people are utterly ‘unempowered’ (is that a word? LoL!), the good old Russians should be thinking about a counter-strategy of how to empower these western Russian-friendly folks. Hell knows Soros is allowed to get away with all sorts of subversive skullduggery…

I don’t see why Russians couldn’t adopt similar tactics. And I’m not talking about buying off politicians as the example above, I’m talking about funding anti-war [pro-Russia] grassroots movements, that’s what Soros’ various foundations specialize in: agitation under the guise of some ‘Social Justice’ cause or another, while all the time advancing the globlalist agenda. We need some counter-movement to push against that.
It’s time to fight fire with fire, I’m afraid.

“the public are not buying it”
I don’t think so.
The vast majority of folk are immersed in the mainstream media televison, radio and newspaper propaganda – the mainstream newspapers have retained their influnce through their online presence. The ‘alternative’ media is a bad joke for the most part – it is the bell on the monkey’s tail and serves the MSM’s ‘smoke and mirrors’ agenda of mass distraction. The huge mass of the general public worldwide is in the thrall of the MSM.
The 24/7 news is best likened to the second hand sweeping around a clock face – it is mesmeric, and it never tells the time of day.
Notwithstanding the above, human beings will always choose to live in peaceful co-existence with their neighbours if given the choice, inlcuding the majority of those whose minds are poisoned with by the fearmongers and the hatemongers who would ‘divide and rule’ – enslave.
Thank God for the Russians! Thank God for their leaders.
Come on, Sergei! You know, better than anyone, that any “terrorist”, anywhere on this planet, is an Israeli/US employee. So finish the job you started a year ago.
