The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, held talks in Moscow with his British counterpart Ben Wallace.
During the meeting, the head of the Russian military department said that the situation on the European continent is becoming increasingly tense, and it was not Russia’s fault.
“I welcome you to Moscow, to the Ministry of Defence. The military-political situation in Europe is becoming more and more tense. And far from our fault. We don’t quite and always understand the reasons for this tension. But, nevertheless, we see that it is growing,” Sergei Shoigu said.
The Russian Defence Minister expressed hope that during the meeting it would be possible to discuss “topical issues of reducing this tension, as well as our proposals to the United States of America and NATO on ensuring security in Europe, which we sent in December and received a response in January. Now it’s all considered. I think that our response will also follow in the near future.”
The head of the Russian military department noted that before the meeting he carefully read the speeches of the British Defence Minister and his colleagues.
“Unfortunately, we still see in every speech, through the line, threats of sanctions. I would not like our conversation today to be a continuation of this kind of interview,” said General of the Army Sergei Shoigu.
During the talks with his British counterpart, the Russian Defence Minister suggested that Western countries contribute to reducing tensions in Europe and stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.
“For our part, we would also like to offer to contribute to reducing this tension and stopping the stuffing of weapons in Ukraine. It is coming from all sides, it is being done publicly. This is done in a demonstrative manner. It’s not quite clear what for. I would also like to understand why Britain, the kingdom, is sending its special forces to Ukraine, and for how long will it be there?”, the head of the Russian military department added.
Sergei Shoigu also expressed concern about the possible use by terrorists of weapons left by the troops of the Western coalition in Afghanistan.
“I would also like to recall the sad experience of pumping weapons of individual states. Let me remind you that almost 80 billion (US dollars) worth of weapons were left in Afghanistan not so long ago. If we talk about Javelins, anti-tank missiles, then more than a hundred of them were left in Afghanistan. If we talk about MANPADS to combat aviation means, more than 150 of them were left,” the Russian Defence Minister said.
According to the head of the Russian military department, “all this, of course, poses a threat today, given that only recently the number of ISIS fighters in Afghanistan has doubled. And it is difficult for us to understand where and into which hands this weapon will fall. We would not like this topic to fade into the background. As is the topic of refugees from Afghanistan. As is the topic of drug trafficking from Afghanistan.”
According to Sergei Shoigu, “today we are seeing more and more concentration of attention, an transcendent concentration of attention on issues that, in our opinion, could be resolved quite calmly in a dialogue between all countries, without threats of imposing certain sanctions. Already, in my opinion, there are no words left in either English dictionaries or Russian that could denote these sanctions. And “catastrophic”, and “shocking”, and “destroying”. There are many different words,” stated the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation.
Sergei Shoigu also reminded Ben Wallace that today’s meeting of the heads of the military departments of Russia and the UK is the first in recent years.
“Unfortunately, the level of our cooperation is close to zero and is about to cross the zero meridian and go into the negative, which I really would not like. Therefore, I really hope for the opportunity to discuss the most pressing issues with you. Without any escalation and raising the temperature even higher in relations between Russia and the countries of the NATO bloc. And especially with Great Britain, taking into account the historical experience of our cooperation and combat cooperation,” the Russian Defence Minister said.
* * *
In turn, the head of the British military department, Ben Wallace, expressed readiness to discuss topical issues of international security with the Russian Defence Minister in order to reduce overall tension.
“We, as defence ministers, must be determined to fight the insecurity in our world. I hope that your speech today starts a relationship that was practically zero,” he said after Sergei Shoigu’s opening speech. —We can resolve several issues that you raised in your speech.”
The British minister said that during the meeting in Moscow he was ready to consider the issues raised by the Russian side in the draft documents in December last year.
“We can try to move forward, resolve our issues through diplomacy and other measures, as well as through general confidence—building measures,” Ben Wallace added.
He thanked for the willingness to meet at such an unstable time, “which does not benefit our peoples and does not eliminate such threats and challenges as terrorism.”
The British Defence Minister expressed hope to discuss issues of Ukraine, Afghanistan, as well as the fight against terrorism and other issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
“I hope that we will be able to influence the climate, the economy and migration, which could reduce the overall tension,” Ben Wallace said.
The British minister also said that he laid a wreath from the British government at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, stressing that he remembers the sacrifices that the Russian people suffered during the Second World War and other previous wars.
“I laid a wreath as a former soldier. I myself have seen many soldiers die next to me, and I would not want any other soldiers to die in the future, both in Europe and in other regions of the world,” Ben Wallace added.
Notes by Amarynth: Whereas the Wallace presser is everywhere to be found on the internet, I have not managed to find any English translation of a presser by Mr Shoigu.
This looks like it is an attempt at another kaffeeklatsch because if Shoigu found anything real, one would think he would have said so.
Yesterday we saw a raft of countries withdrawing their embassies to the West of the Ukraine, or warning their staff and citizens to leave the Ukraine immediately. This is but a partial list: Israel to evacuate families of diplomats in Kiev, Norwegian Foreign Ministry advises its citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible, Netherlands, moving diplomatic office from Kiev to the western Ukraine, Japan’s Foreign Ministry Advises all Citizens in Ukraine to Leave Immediately – raises threat level to maximum, South Korea banned any travel to the Ukraine.
Why is this important in this context? The UK is withdrawing its military advisors, as well as its diplomatic staff.
” … UK defense minister James Heappey insisted that there will be no British troops in the country in the case of an invasion.
“All of them will be withdrawn,” he told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. “There will be no British troops in Ukraine if there is to be a conflict there.
“They will be leaving over the course of the weekend.”
In addition, the news is just out that Russia is withdrawing diplomats from the Ukraine: According to Zakharova, ”
We are making a conclusion that American and British colleagues are possibly aware of certain violent actions prepared in Ukraine that can seriously undermine security.” Fearing possible provocations by Kiev or third countries, we have indeed made a decision about some optimization of the staff at our missions in Ukraine.”
Today Mr Putin will talk to Joe Biden and suddenly Antony Blinken has requested to hold a phone talk with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also today. Lavrov agreed and this phone conversation will continue.
The Western propaganda machinery already has prepared a scenario by which any violent incident in the Donbass which would provoke a Russian response is actually a false flag by the Russians to stage an invasion.
Given the specificity of the dates mentioned by the West; their clear eagerness to goad/push Russia and Kiev towards war; their encouragement to Kiev to completely reject the Minsk accords in reality (all the while gaslighting everyone that they support it); Kiev’s massing of an invasion force on the Donbass contact line, it seems that all signs point to violence in the Donbass early next week.
@ Amarynth
Thanks, Amarynth.
They are realizing now, hope not too little too late, the stranglehold is real (take a look at the Black Sea), and the Russians are not bluffing. My best guess, all these phone talks are trying to put a band aid on the festering cancer that is 404. We will see what transpires from this conversations. In the meantime, the International Center for Strategic Intelligence (ICSI) upgraded the danger of war to “Black Level,” meaning, war is inevitable.
Still, we hope for the best…
Lone Wolf
“My best guess, all these phone talks are trying to put a band aid on the festering cancer that is 404.”
I have a different impression: the impression that “Biden” and his lapdogs are gaslighting, as if they intend to make a documentary in the near future about how “The West tried to talk peace to Russia, but failed, and we had to go to war to protect democracy and freedom”. It is mere PR, another “sound bite” for the upcoming propaganda films. I believe that the US / UK are setting the stage for more propaganda for the future, in a similar fashion to a lot of those BBC documentaries of WW II, twisting the facts around and using only selective statements and obfuscation to make the UK and the US look like innocents and the “good guys”. It is a staged play for their hostage citizens, one of many recorded future references, to blame Russia.
Yo estoy de acuerdo con su comentario. La guerra ya está ordenada y van a mandar a la hoguera a los soldados ucranianos, no les importa para nada ese pobre país al que primero nazificaron para poder joderlos.
Translation. Mod:
I agree with your comment. The war is already ordered and they are going to send the Ukrainian soldiers to the stake, they do not care at all about that poor country that they first nazified to be able to screw them.
On behalf of the British public I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the Russian/RF/CIS peoples and Governments for the complete idiocy and cowardice of the British Government/City of London.
I will understand fully if I see bright flashing lights travelling Mach9 over my head anytime soon.
Re: WTFUD
Ditto for myself and any Canadians with at least half a brain. If you encounter any Canadians in uniform in the Donbass, should you happen to be wandering around in that area, please remove their heads and mail to Justin Trudeau. A mailing address will be sent once it has been verified.
…and send some heads to Jagmeet Singh and whomever the new leader of the Conservative party will be – all Canadian political parties are strongly anti-Russian and follow the U.S. neo liberal order.
That could have something to do with the Sons of Bandera infestation,i believe they have monuments to those criminals in Canada.
Yes, two such monuments AFAIK. One in Hamilton and one in Edmonton. But, since Russia pointed this out, monuments to Nazi collaborators in Canada get a free pass. Everyone knows that “Russia is bad” and, therefore, anything Russian leaders, media, or babushkas who sweep the streets say must also be bad. QED.
Removed. Please show facts to back this up. Mod.
What he said. And I, too, would appreciate it if the bright lights could be directed as tightly as possible to the culprits. It’s a small island with a lot of us civilians packed into it.
It’s not as if any of us had ever had any influence on UK government policy.
What they said.
It is truly depressing to be a Brit at this point. We tried to change our govt and we failed.
Cummings won the election and Carrie Antoinette dispensed with him thereafter.
Yes and we know how that happened, the Deep state and even members of the Labour party were guilty of the sabotage, what gets me is many on the left in Britain are fully on board with Pax Americana,it was the same when the FRY was attacked by Nato, men like Robin Cook were cheerleaders for the Reich.
You’re just too polite, is the problem. You need to rechannel the spirit of 1653
Copy & Paste
@WTFUD
Instead of apologies, why don’t you try to “do” something to antagonize the belligerent approach of your government? For example, look at what is happening in Canada, and at the border US/Canada with “the truckers”.
People start taking matter in their hands..
Some of us have tried. From Poll Tax Trafalgur Square 1990, Iraq War demo 2003 (the largest in British history), Israeli Embassy 2008 and more anti-austerity protests that I can shake a stick at over the past 12 years. There have been others in between. Do I personally feel like I have failed? Yes. I have obviously failed to articulate my feelings and warnings to others about the dark, dangerous path the ruling, political, media class have been dragging this country down, particularly post millennium. For 30 years I’ve been banging my head against a wall. I’m not sure how much more banging my skull can take.
Just to add a little to P.A.s comment, every time a new political entity is formed and gains any traction it is infiltrated by the secret police, these are mostly regular cops going undercover to fully penetrate and report on the organisation. Then disruptive voices are sent along to derail the core values and ethos of the organisation until people become disenchanted and leave. The scale of this came out only because of the scandal around so many of these officers fathering children as their alter-egos first one emerged then there were 27 such cases of women demanding child support from the relevent police authority, reports disappeared and I guess some women were paid off sufficient to their needs until the reported numbers dropped into single figures. No one suspected such tactics were being used against them, they operated in the belief that we lived in a democracy as advertised.
And Macron will have a follow-up call with Putin later today. Interesting times.
The americans are putting a lot of pressure on Olaf Scholz to keep the line on his visit in Moscow monday. This visit is key, imho. Scholz must not deviate from the line asked by Biden. He has to be a good soldier.
We will see. He has a key and can influence the flow of events during the next few weeks, if he choose to do so. I would not put a $2 bet on it, though.
Maybe the war is meant to happen before this meeting???
This is a real possibility. Biden can smell this happening, and create a false flag event this week-end, so that Scholz doesn’t have the possibility to meet with Putin and declare his willingness to ok NS2 and not follow the US if they are willing to sanction it in the next few weeks.
If the CIA arrives at that conclusion, something will happen this week-end. Biden will move, imho.
I agree this weekend is possible, maybe late Sunday or early Monday morning. On Friday “Biden” told Americans to leave Ukraine in 24-48 hours.
My guess would be 9am Washington or London time tuesday being more likely so as not to ruin the weekend, but maybe wednesday if there are too many loose ends to tie off.
I bought some beef for my birthday later this week, maybe we’ll both get cooked at the same time?
The main goal and open intent of the US Global Homosexual Pederast Empire is to inflict pain, suffering, and misery on the vast majority of human beings on Planet Earth.
And this raises the very obvious question:why do these foul creatures want to do this?
I think this to be the most obvious answer to this obvious question:Because these rancid creatures enjoy inflicting pain, suffering, and misery on all of humanity….it is an orgasm for these Its….
If you watch the Super Bowl this Sunday…you are an enabler of the US Homosexual Pederast Corporate CEO Empire…and you yourself are a immoral foul creature from Hell!!!!
The Ontology of Evil….
@ War for Blair Mountain
The answer to Your question , is simple they want to reduce the world population to 500 million slaves,
look up the Georgen Guide stones .it tells you what the evil one’s want !!!!
Thank you
Tom 123
The Georgia guide stones are in different languages. The figures in the Indian language states 5 billion.
I’ll give you both a different explanation: It’s because they CAN’T stop.
Evil is not an intelligent force but a mindless one. It has no reason, and it serves no purpose. It is the breaking down of things merely for the sake of breaking down things. A perpetual decay without an end.
Those who slide down the path of evil, end up the same. They can no longer stop any more than cancerous cells can stop. If the organism dies so will they. But they cannot stop.
I think Michael Hudson is right about the motive: It is about preventing Germany from having significant trade with Russia.
I is about the old Mackinder fear concerning the Eurasian heartland
Today i was walking down Kreshatik street in Kiev. Nice day and finally some sun. The ukies had a “freedom for ukraine” political parade that started at Shevshenko park and college down and through Kreshatik. The parade consisted of maybe 300 people and not one was on the streets watching. No one came in support of war. All the Ukrainian citizens know there is no hope against the Russian Federation in an actual war. The average citizen here is 100 percent against war with Russia. And for the record most all the people here dont want to be part of Russia. But they also think it is stupid not to be friends with Russia.
PS Thank you Saker for giving us these books you wrote. I have learned much in the least three years. Спасибо вам!
Any dissent is put down by the Government I here. If you don’t want to fight you’re a Russian collaborator. Right Sector & Others, like their Hitler Youth heroes, probably making nightly visits to dissuade locals who might otherwise want peace. Media censored!
All Bravado! Still, very dangerous and foolhardy allowing Americans to blow smoke up their asses and use them as fodder. With plenty time on their hands Ukrainians must be reading about the current state of affairs, that allowing NATO/US in, with knowledge of recent history and geopolitical events is madness.
They need to abide by the Minsk Agreement, reconcile the country and be rewarded with a good Energy contracts like Hungary signed and EU investment to rebuild economy.
I would not go so far as to say Ukrainian don’t want to be part of Russia. That is just not true.
Firstly in Kiev it would be highly dangerous to tell people I am a Russia supporter. Secondly, we at least know Crimeans all wanted to be a part of Russia and most certainly the Donbass et al. I would say the native Russian speaker more than likely would all want to be part of Russia. It is Russia (who can blame them?) that don’t want a broke, decripit, failed state where most of the educated left long ago. Stay as a USA vassal state! I am sure you will be like Switzerland in about 300 years.
I think this is called the ” fog of war” … or at least early morning (hand washing) mists perhaps. No doubt the western Anglofone history books have already been written and are at the printers in London as we type.
There is no “fog” – the uSA and its poodles – it is “clear” – have no means to defeat Russia or China or Iran – so they engage in the only venue they have some measure of control – with endless BS – that is – make it up – put it to the MSM echo chamber and see the reaction if any – is the opposition changing positions in the slightest ? No then stage an event – MH-17 perhaps !
if you call Assad in Syria a mass murderer and then stage a false flag chemical attack – how many people believe it or even listen – then try it again in another media market – endless and low cost.
Does this stand any chance of passing?
“The Chairman of the State Duma said that the issue of official recognition by Russia of the Donbass republics will be considered on Feb 14.”
If so, the US would consider this as de facto invasion and likely countered by sanctions, more troops and weapons, and so forth. It would also give Ukraine an excuse to attack the Donbass and give the West and Ukraine their war. Assuming the action is contained to Ukraine, this would achieve US objectives. Nordstream II is a no-go, Europe breaks all ties with Russia, the military-industrial-complex gets increased budget, etc.
As for Russia, Ukrain insurgents would infiltrate Donbass in a perpetual irritation causing economic calamity and the Donbass repubics would expect Russia to help out economically.
For Russia to avoid such outcomes, I would think they would have to end the negotiation nonsense and actually make a threat and back it up. This would either end in the US capitulating or it would end in an all-out war. So that’s risky, but otherwise I think we’ll see something like the scenario I’m suggesting.
‘will be considered’…part of the pain dial?, the Duma, upon consideration, could chose not to recognise the Republics as part of Russia, they could even defer the discussion to a future date.
That may be an inflection point. Who blinks first. Hopefully if defence depts are talking, that’s the most important discussions.
Cheers M
“…If so, the US would consider this as de facto invasion …”
So if the USA recognises Taiwan, that would be a de facto declaration of war…?
The Taiwan or Kosova comparisons don’t apply. The US makes its own rationalizations. Others can’t do this because others have to use facts, law, and so forth. When you are sociopathic, you have the freedom to do whatever you want.
In violation of the One China policy?
Nah, the Yank Cowboys wouldn’t do that, they have a long history of abiding by treaties, resolutions, policy documents etc. Just like they did with JCPOA…..
If Russia does this they will undoubtably move in and take Ukraine up to the Dnieper, they will also completely destroy the Ukraine military, East and West. If they are to lose NS2 due to US false flags and chicanery, they will take all they need and completely de fang the Ukraine whilst leaving it to the West to continue to pay for its sorry ass. Maybe US aegis ashore in Poland and romania get levelled as well. Putin is quite cautious but I think if this is going to go off Russia needs to get its pound of flesh and leave a big marker in the sand for the Americans. I don’t use the word NATO because it is a meaningless word signifying nothing, it is the European wing of US imperialism. I think at this point caution is something Russia can throw to wind a little.
Each day the war is delayed…more missiles in Russia’s arsenal…
Delay the war for 20 years….300 SU-57s…300…SU-35s…300 SU-30s…300-SU-34s…1000 updated SU-27s…..thousands of S-500s….S-550s…thousands of Iskanders….thousands of BUKs….thousands of S-300s…Panstirs galore……
20 years from now…the Russian Military versus the Black Lives Matter Popeye’s fried chicken US Military…and don’t forget the USS Village People’s Hotub Party Aircraft Carrier…
Macron has been to Russia.
Truss has been to Russia.
Wallace has been to Russia.
Scholz is going to Russia.
Putin has been to China.
The embassies in Kiev are emptying.
Russia is about to vote on recognising the Donbass republics.
Things continue until they don’t. This can’t go on. I, personally, would really not like to be on the Ukrainian side of the Donbass contact line.
The Russians have Intel on the false flags, instigations, terrorist attack plans of the US, UK, Poles and Ukies.
And some of these are not recent or imminent.
The movement of forces surrounding Ukraine is half the Russian plan. The amount, quality and quantity of weapons sent to Kaliningrad and placed in Belarus, as well as the doubling of the Black Sea fleet with ships and weapons from the Baltic and Northern fleets are defensive placements.
Bear in mind, Putin has constructed a pressure campaign, ostensibly on Ukraine, but built against NATO.
The goal is to crack NATO.
The US looks willing to risk losing Ukraine in order to force Russian forces to operate, incur, invade Ukraine.
If that doesn’t work, and it won’t, then a fabrication of some false flag is all the US has left to start hostilities.
The best option seems impossible for the US. The Ukies want no part of fighting the amassed Russian forces, even if they only move a few of their brigades into Ukraine. Russia has come ready to defeat NATO.
If the US and UK remove their special forces, the Ukies will be demoralized and even less disposed to start anything.
I think the original plan months ago by the US was to falsely direct a Ukie unit to attack Lugansk or Donetsk, cover it with propaganda, blame the LDNR military, and get the Russians to put some units into Ukraine.
If this plan was uncovered by Russian Intel, and it likely was, then Russia upped the ante with this full pressure campaign to once-and-for-all end the NATO threat which would have come into Ukraine.
All the signs are that NATO intended to establish inside Ukraine and then cover Ukraine with article 5 protection.
They underestimated Russian willingness to go to a deep, wide war that would destroy Kiev, the Baltic midgets and Poland.
This is what is now arrayed for all to judge.
You want war? You will get a war. The war will be on your territory. It will break NATO.
And the US without the Atlantic Alliance is a regional, not a continental power, much less a global hegemon. The US, like NATO would be a Western Europe (thus, 1997) power.
Does the West want to go to war to save itself, but lose anyway?
Or do they retreat? Is removal of their special forces from Ukraine a retreat?
I’m certain Putin will inform Biden that Russian forces are going nowhere, because they are within their borders, unlike the US and NATO.
No need for bloodshed. Just pullback. Because if there is a start to a war, all those forward forces will be destroyed.
Agree to Ukraine will be neutral, no missiles in East Europe and back to 1997 or things will get messy.
Pentagon News: The USS Liberace in a glittering rhinestone flowing cape to take on those wicked wuskies in the Black Sea….followed behind by the USS Pederast Harvey Milk for behind refueling…..The US Navy a Global Force for Global Buggery…..
I cannot say I am impressed with this kind of comment. Welcome it is *not*.
Possible for you to make a reasonable comment? Said different: can the buggery buddy or go write a novel.
Yeah, I cannot say I don’t agree Larchmonter. The Russian Big Plan is to 404 Nato.
Withdrawal, over my newstickers right now … Pentagon to temporarily withdraw 150 US military instructors from Ukraine, amid Russian invasion fears
A withdrawal of troops, even if called ‘temporary’ is a withdrawal. So, we have the Brit ‘instructors’ withdrawing and the US ‘instructors’ withdrawing. That is the beginning of a capitulation.
The Lavrov/Blinken telephone chat is over but not yet do I have formal sources talking about that. The west news sources exploded with ‘Blinken demanding that Russia de-escalate’. Far as I can see so far, Lavrov said nothing, excepting playing broken record – you are not responding to our requests for security guarantees.
Oh the pain! I picked up somewhere that Zelesnski had a presser where he said .. Everyone says the Russians are going to invade the Ukraine but, I have no proof of that Who-ever has proof, please give us the proof! Oh I laughed!
Its a wag the dog war and at stake is the continuance of Nato in its current form.
Amarynth, I really don’t think that USA and Britain withdrawing military instructors from Ukraine is the beginning of a capitulation. Most likely, they have withdrawn their instructors to get them out of harms way ie. the planned false flag and Russia’s response. Also they want to get the instructors far away from the planned false flag so that the chance of someone associating the instructors to false flag will be less. Their leaving also feeds the narrative that Russia is about to invade Ukraine.
We look at it a little differently Anton, but no worries.
Amarynth, i sincerely hope that you are right and I am wrong and that the withdrawing of USA and British instructors is, in fact, the beginning of a capitulation..
Thats correct,Amarynth.I heard it this past 24 hours either on the TV or radio from national broadcaster RTE in Ireland.Interesting that they broadcast this too,as the warmongering is at fever pitch here leading the main news with the same cropped photos from permanent Russian military bases and statements from the Jake Sullivan and the other idiot who disgraced himself last week.
A rebroadcast of NATO propaganda apart from the editor who put up Zelenskey;s jabberings.
Rational is not possible. If your only tool is a hammer, every problem is a nail. Especially when hammers are $9,000 each.
For the west winning a war is not measured by territory or body count, it is measured by military expenditure. Thus every war is a win. The only war that the US ‘won’ (in the conventional sense) in the last 75 years was against Grenada.
There is a radical change coming, let’s hope that sanity prevails once the shooting starts. I’m not counting on it.
Russia really doesn’t have to go anywhere the fleet is out, they are ‘there’ already, Mr Putin said, ‘command and control centres’. He also said, ‘any war, will not be fought in Russia’.
Chicken shit Brits are pulling out military staff, Cdn Beavers soon to follow. Orcs are on their own. The small amounts of troops deployed to the Baltics and Poland are to help control refugees and triage wounded. NATO moved all the weapons in because there will be no resupply points.
How in God’s name NATO convinced the Ukrainian Brass they have a hope in hell of regaining the Republics militarily. Mind boggling.
Cheers M
“How in God’s name NATO convinced the Ukrainian Brass they have a hope in hell of regaining the Republics militarily. Mind boggling”
Suitcases full of greenbacks. That’s all it takes for some to betray their own sovereignty and people.
the conundrum for the west at this point is how do they capitulate while still appearing victorious?
if war comes they lose, if the conflict remains frozen over time time russian pressure on nato will crack it up and they lose.
the west is about PR not results or substance so how now do they exit the dead end street they have driven into looking triumphant?
tedrichard,
They can easily redirect global attention if they want. They own the dominant PR media horn.
– they could call the capitulation a victory, and sell it like the Ukraine Invasion meme
– they could release a serious strain to preoccupy mankind
– they could wait a little longer for 70-80% inoculated to take full effect; folks may soon not care what’s on TV – there will be enough drama around them
– they could fake the Alien Invasion (Project Blue Beam)
– etc etc
So a change in tack is not the issue. They are still nimble in the PR domain. But they remain frozen in time and fixated on their compulsion (1) to sever Europe from Russia and (2) to regain control of Crimea.. This last point is not sufficiently appreciated; it is eschatological for the satanists.
It is as if they rolled the dice and gambled everything on being able to achieve these two tasks before turning to China and others..
AHH

Use the 3D formula: Divert, Distract, Demonise. Guide the plebs to look in another direction (domestic, international or both). Plenty of subject matters to choose from. Or just stop reporting on it (out of sight, out of mind). The attention span of the two-thirds majority mob in England regarding international geopolitics is that of a gnat. The Queen (mummy) is looking a bit frail, isn’t she? When she pops her clogs that’ll keep the media block busy for at least a month.
There is another factor. Millions of Britz are struggling to keep a roof over their heads, put food on the table for their children, pay their (privatised) utility bills, pay rent, keep up with mortgage payments, credit card bills, put petrol in their car- if they can afford a car etc. They’ve got far more pressing concerns to ‘distract’ themselves with.
Grim. Very, very grim.
I don’t know too much but I do know if the enemy has victory over Russia then all hope is gone. The entire world will be controlled by moral degenerates.

Russia is again taking the Minsk Package of Measures to the UNSC on the 17th. In this way they are again attempting to split the issues of the Ukraine, from their request for security guarantees.
Dmitry Polyanskiy
On Feb 17 we will organize UN SC meeting to review the implementation of Resolution 2202 which endorsed #MinskAgreements. Making #Ukraine honor MA is the only way to resolve crisis in this country triggered by illegal #Maidan coup in 2014 and Kiev’s military action in #Donbass
It’s the only plan for the resolution of crisis in #Ukraine supported by intl community. P11 (and especially its footnote) is most hated in Kiev as it envisages direct dialogue with Donetsk and Lugansk. Ukraine also tries to change the sequence of agreed steps to kill this deal
7 years ago #MinskAgreements were signed on that day.Since then Kiev has been consistently sabotaging its obligations with the cover-up of Western countries.I attach for the reference the text of this crucial document to remind of what was agreed and what #Ukraine yet has to do

Examples of the large-scale disinformation campaign by the Western media, hyping the claim that Russia is planning to invade Ukraine
“In essence, the Western media have been carrying out a political order from their governments. They are disseminating false information in a well-orchestrated effort and taking part in a full-scale information war. ”

Thats what they have become, there isn’t a journalist among them,Goebbels said give me control of the media and i will turn the population of any Country into a herd of Pigs, thats what we are dealing with, its one big piggery.
I see in all this Western bloc agitation (leaving the embassies) a way of saying publicly “we have evidence that we cannot reveal, that the Russian attack is imminent”.
In my opinion, this is a two-shot strategy:
1) do not meet Russian security requirements.
2) reverse the roles by placing Russia in that of the aggressor.
You know jean, its been more than 100 days of Russia is going to invade the Ukraine. And yet, it has not happened yet. They are trying hard to make Russia the aggressor, but Russia is not doing it. Russia is not starting their war (against the Ukraine with some Poland mixed in there is all I can see).
I guess we just have to be patient but must admit, my patience is very short nowadays.
It is clear Russia (with China backing) is not stepping back from demanding security guarantees and for NATO to move back to agreed borders. So what can we say? Be patient is all that I can think of :-)
Patience is a martial art.
This is a Pressure Campaign by Russia. It is intrinsically a game of Patience.
Russia has every advantage.
However, patience has to be near infinite. This may go on for months more.
The Atlantic Alliance is 73 years old. The US has been a monster global power for 124 years.
Those are tough nuts to crack.
So, breathe deeply, slowly, maintain focus and be patient.
Yes,I agree patience is what its all about when one deals with an overweight dangerous adolescent, one stupid lunge by said and it will be all over, hopefully not for most of humanity.Surrender is in progress apart from a false flag which being well understood and well known may loose its impact if implemented.Diplomats being moved could be just optics and probably is.
“The head of the Russian military department noted that before the meeting he carefully read the speeches of the British Defence Minister and his colleagues.
“Unfortunately, we still see in every speech, through the line, threats of sanctions. I would not like our conversation today to be a continuation of this kind of interview,” said General of the Army Sergei Shoigu.”
***
That, I believe, is how those arrogant, brazen creatures ought always be spoken to… and then shown the way out of the room and building immediately, should they elect to react the least negatively… A man of Shoigu’s stature and with such critical responsibilities has no time to waste with the uncouth. That must always be made as clear as daylight.
France sees no sign of Russia preparing for aggression, based on what Vladimir Putin told President Macron in today’s phone call, the Elysee Palace says.
Russia’s President is currently on the phone with Joe Biden.
Is this the (CIA-produced/USA-projected onto Moscow) Ukrainian false flag everybody has been talking about?

“question:why do these foul creatures want to do this?”
It’s in their nature. They are parasites. They could not survive without host to torment. When number of available hosts is shrinking, parasites becomes agitated and aggressive.

Russian MoD claims that today at 10:40 MSK a Virginia-class SSN was detected IN Russian territorial waters near Urup island (one of the Kurils), near the zoned of Pacific Fleet exercise. Marsh.Shaposhnikov frigate found it, communicated the demand to surface immediately.
Demand was ignored, RU frigate used “special instruments” (probably counter-saboteur grenades?), SSN deployed a self-propelled imitator and left territorial waters at max speed.

This is not the first time Virginia has been ‘found’ where she shouldn’t be. Supposedly Virginia is the state of the art American ‘black hole in the water’. Obviously she ain’t, either that or Mother has equipment that is two generations ahead of SehSha.

Russian nuclear submarine of the Borey project, which carries 16 Bulava ballistic missiles on board, unexpectedly appeared off the coast of the United States, having caused serious concerns in Washington. Each of the missiles in service with the submarine is capable of carrying up to ten nuclear warheads.14 Jan 2022
That RU identified class of submarine strongly implies some very good acoustical differentiation and past classification of “signature” characteristics for comparison, ie intelligence work. One may speculate that RU knows which Virginia boat it was, and thus name of skipper…

Wallace is a typical bloated Tory and sounds like someone hedging his bets. He thinks he could replace Stoltenberg and so caters to US tastes. Radakin is a nothing – an overdressed civil servant without combat experience. His presence was as useless as that of Admiral Sir Reginald Aylmer Ranfurly Plunkett-Ernle-Erle-Drax, KCB, DSO, JP, DL in 1939 when he showed he was without plenipotentiary powers when negotiating with Molotov and Britain wasted 2 years before it got an alliance with USSR in 1941.
It is sad that UK is now such a laughing stock with a clownish government following the disaster of Theresa May and of David Cameron and of Brown, Blair, Major……….
Russia has resumed its status as a Major Power whereas UK is simply “The Mouse That Roared” (1959) with Peters Sellers

Fear of war increases
They burn documents in the US embassy
Germans should “leave the country for a short time”
Translated by Google
Now the diplomats are leaving the country too…
President Joe Biden’s national security adviser said Putin had decided to invade Ukraine. When? Maybe during the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Apparently, the fear of war is so great that the US government is withdrawing most of its embassy staff from the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
Staff will be reduced “to an absolute minimum,” said a senior ministry official.
What’s more, the burning of important documents and the destruction of hardware have apparently already begun.
Starting tomorrow (Sunday, February 13), regular consular services at the embassy would be suspended.
The US military is withdrawing around 160 National Guard soldiers from the country who were deployed there for training purposes.

best option on the table : nuke ’em to the stone age.
Nihilism has be destroyed by fire.
Sir, if you were a thinker for real, you would not hope for anyone to be nuked to the stone age.
Please try and combine facts and logic.
Biden speaks to Putin 1 hr…Macron takiing the lead -?- speaks Biden Scholz and Zed.
Things are looking great for Russia! All the western embassies are reducing their staff inside Ukraine. Now, the Americans are withdrawing soldiers. Hopefully, the rest of the western countries will pull their military out as well. That’s what Russia wanted all along. Let’s see if they continue to withdraw from other Eastern European countries as time passes.
It does not seem so far if we will get a read-out on the Putin/Biden telephone call. Tass reports that not even the White House has said anything (they did not even lie surprisingly) and so far, nothing on the Kremlin site.
So it seems as if all the flurry of phone calls and withdrawal of troops will quiet down now, as it is late in Russia already.
So, let’s use this sitrep as open thread for comments and facts, and if necessary, we will open a new one for tomorrow.

If the US can’t spin something, the call went very badly for Joe.
Putin could break him into a drooling stroke patient. Joe has a hyperbolic personality, now suffering dementia. It wouldn’t take much to have him blow his lid and then collapse.
The phone call must have gone very badly for Joe and the handlers.
Imagine Putin sitting there with a military capable of wiping out everything in Europe with little sweat on the brow. And an American like Joe threatens you.
I think the message from Putin would be an overload of pressure.
Biden would not be able to process it.
Here’s the Readout:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2022/02/12/readout-of-president-bidens-call-with-president-vladimir-putin-of-russia/
President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. spoke today with President Vladimir Putin of Russia about Russia’s escalating military buildup on the borders of Ukraine. President Biden was clear that, if Russia undertakes a further invasion of Ukraine, the United States together with our Allies and partners will respond decisively and impose swift and severe costs on Russia. President Biden reiterated that a further Russian invasion of Ukraine would produce widespread human suffering and diminish Russia’s standing. President Biden was clear with President Putin that while the United States remains prepared to engage in diplomacy, in full coordination with our Allies and partners, we are equally prepared for other scenarios.
Same old, same old. It looks like a form letter.
The US action plan is predictable. This makes the Russia plan more effective.
The US plan puts enormous pressure on NATO and EU nations by the US standing off, promising Sanctions, and hysterically predicting a tank attack like a Russian Horde. This was 1955 thinking.
Biden can huff and puff all he wants. There is no way to end the pressure. He is helping build it.
The price of oil is at $95. The extra revenue is paying for the cost of the Russian military exercises. So, this is costing the Russian budget nothing.
Unless the US cracks soon, this will go on until summer.
There is no reason to see Kiev suddenly starting to implement Minsk 2.
The EU is too weak to protect its own economy from the US destroying it over natural gas from Russia.
NATO cannot act on its own. The US controls it completely.
The US is pursuing a game that is an existential threat to Russia. The US thinks they can win the game.
All these factors are caught in a cauldron represented by Russian military.
The only relief from the pressure is to give up.
The option to go to war is incredibly expensive compared to naming Ukraine a neutral state, removing the missiles in East Europe, and going back to 1997 limits of NATO.
The problem for the US is in order to save their own economy, they have to destroy the Russia-EU connections and take over industry from West European centers, making the EU market theirs.
They see the only way to that goal is to brand Russia an aggressor nation and destroy it in war.
Russia has made the cost of that plan for the US/EU/NATO existential for the West.
Russia will destroy them and can do it completely with conventional weapons. This is why they have no qualms about war.
The US cannot win a war without going nuclear, which means they will be obliterated by Russian nukes.
Only Russia can win this pressure situation. And they have several paths to victory.
There is no path to victory for the US.
It seems we have a stalemate really. I’m not sure what’s to prevent the US from just keeping the status quo going, as it serves their purpose just fine: keeping Europe in line and the weapons flowing, and they can say they are successfully preventing Russia from invading. Also, isn’t keeping Russia on high alert expensive for them? So then what, do they attack somewhere?

“The problem for the US is in order to save their own economy, they have to destroy the Russia-EU connections and take over industry from West European centers, making the EU market theirs”.
Well spoken. I wrote the same countless times. The issue is not Ukraine as such, but the internal situation in the US, it’s economy and finances, which are facing a financial crash due to the enormous foreign and domestic debts. The US thus becomes a predatory entity, solving it’s problems over the backs of others. As you said, the Russia-EU connections need to be destroyed and the EU market placed under US control.
“if Russia undertakes a further invasion of Ukraine” So what was the ‘earlier’ invasion of the orcs to follow further on? I is cornfused, I don’t remember Russia ‘invading’ orcland except possibly the counterattack across orcland in ’44 to kick the Germans and their staunch ally Romania out is counted by SehSha as an ‘invasion’.
Honestly, talking to west ‘politicians and diplomats’ must closely resemble talking to an amoeba on meth.

Diplomacy at this point is meaningless. Nothing that Russia says to USA (or to anyone) will affect what USA does.
There is zero chance that USA will not do something insane in the near future.
very simple…US neocons/nelibs are warmongers= russophobe…there will be peace only if PDJT return to WH….
Diplomacy is never meaningless, Russia knows very well the “talk-talk, fight-fight” stratagem, has used it before and in this conundrum, it will be very useful. Even after the firecrackers start flying, Russia will continue the conversation, limited to those that further its interests. The “talk-talk” is the gauge for the pain-dial.
Lone Wolf
“The military-political situation in Europe is becoming more and more tense. And far from our fault. We don’t quite and always understand the reasons for this tension. But, nevertheless, we see that it is growing,” Sergei Shoigu said.”
I look at the reason the tension is growing as the City of London’s fear they will forever lose the narrative that they hope will eventuate in their plan to institute global fascism so we all can bleed for them to feed. The top global banksters call the shots in the west, persons like Ben Wallace are window dressing for propaganda and tactical purposes only, they are in no way decision makers. This conflict, at it’s core, is about the multipolar sovereign nation trading future of the Afro-Eurasia land mass nations and it’s dire threat to the City of London Banksters longstanding and carefully positioned mechanisms for world economic and power dominance. Recent speeches between China, Russia and Iran demonstrate that these nations are acutely aware of what this really is all about.
I don’t know how this hybrid war is to be settled via propaganda, geopolitics, kinetic war and whatever other means they all are using. But clearly a nation faced with the choice of becoming a bleeder for the feeders or developing its own freedom and prosperity through sovereignty will select the latter choice. City of London knows this and knows that Russia stands on the moral high ground, and also does so with power. But these banksters also have no qualms whatsoever about visiting carnage of epic proportions on any nation they deem necessary to help prosecute their world ownership agenda. And thier mid term task is not simply to contain Russia, China and Iran but to subjugate and bleed them, that is necessary for the banksters to neutralize this Mackinder threat to their long term goals, and besides, it is the fundamental reason for their existence.
I cannot see where all this obtuse diplomacy is going. Call out the elephant in the room for the world to see, even though many will not see it, many will. These banksters are psychotic and have invested generations of plans and hard work to reach where they are. They are not going to give it all up at any cost to the rest of us. The terminally stupid, like Poland, will always take the bait and walk into their trap, but natural selection fixes stupid. Bankster determination means this hybrid war will migrate more and more towards the kinetic kind whose ultimate destination is nuclear, even if the banksters don’t want that. Perhaps it is time to start considering quietly taking out the real decision makers behind this emerging madness, as another new element of this hybrid world war, because the stakes for humanity couldn’t be any greater.
I totally agree with you, start to negate the puppet master’s who are playing with the world causing trouble. They and their secret offshoots and their government infiltration. With Russia’s history of dealing with them I think Mr Putin is fully aware of the situation.
All the sudden all these visits from ”western leaders” add to it the ”phone call” from american leader…is it just me who has this crossed my mind. ”eh world we tried to convaince the russians, but they want the war”
@PasserBy, on the other hand they can say, “eh world, see how there is no war because we convinced Putin to back down.
Can anyone here provide me with ‘proof’ Russia is ACTUALLY ‘massing forces’ on the Ukrainian border? I have considerable resources to do this myself, however, I cannot find any substantial proof of such ‘massing of troops and equipment’. No satellite photos are available anywhere depicting any Russian troop and tank movements along any part of the border, only those currently due to drills in Belarus.
I am also aware that the shrill screeching from the ‘west’ is just noise, however, their desperation indicates a ‘false flag’ event is about to happen soon. Imagine the embarrassment they will suffer when the alleged “Russian invasion’ still hasn’t happened by Easter?
This is precisely why something has to happen soon. The US and Biden specifically can’t afford to look any more stupid than they do already if no conflict happens for six months or a year or forever.
They have to have that false flag incident. They have no choice now. The hysteria they’ve whipped up far exceeds anything during the run up to the Iraq war.
A little information from RT about the Putin/Biden discussion. Bear in mind it is RT, so I would wait till we get a formal transcript.
Anyway, the statement is: “The conversation came amid an atmosphere of unprecedented hysteria by US officials over Russia’s supposedly imminent ‘invasion’ of Ukraine,” Ushakov stated.
https://www.rt.com/russia/549175-putin-biden-phone-talks/
You should hear the hysterical news here….a Ukrainian official calling on Petit Kiev and the PM to ‘punish Russia’ all I could think what a waste of presious oxygen that asshole was consuming. I am all for peace but sometimes the leprechaun in me……let’s not go there.
Cheers M
The PMs tied up btw, no, not like that, I wish, he has a problem with there being so many fringe Canadians partying in the streets of Petit Kiev he doesn’t have the police to stop them…..even if the cops wanted to. And with a new convoy from BC heading east, he’ll have his hands full for a week or two.
So much chaos, so little time. Russia has thrown down the gauntlet, is the anglo//zionist empire of death, destruction and chaos calling Russia’s bluff or are they running for the hills? Here is a thought, maybe the empire is receiving some data making them believe Russia will attack. The empires minions are immature imbeciles crying for their mommies in either case. Who the f@ck knows what is going on
Of course the Brits are leaving with their tails between their legs: Russian soldiers armed with modern weapons are not as easy to bully as Irish civilians armed with rocks. (Hmmm, come to think of it, the Irish didn’t do such a bad job of running them off either)
The Western attitude/MO is perfectly illustrated by this video… The Guardian cropping out Lavrov opening the door and being a gentleman for that Bimbo, and then making a sensational story out of it. That is a microcosm picture of this whole stupid Ukraine mess IMO … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDn7d33GsDY. Here is the Ruptly version: https://youtu.be/2BPLDp1pnFQ?t=8193
According to wikipedia there are 64000 American troops in Europe.
But Wiki fails to mention there are a further 70000 American troops in the former Soviet states!
(see Statista https://www.statista.com/statistics/222920/deployment-of-us-troops-in-selected-world-regions/)
So the deployment of 100000 or so Russian troops @ 200-400 km from the Ukraine border (i.e. halfway to Moscow) that NATO is freaking out over, is clearly a solid defensive move on the part of Russia.
I have the feeling that Russia’s project is no less than the complete dismantling of NATO, and that they will attempt to do it without firing a single shot.
“I laid a wreath as a former soldier. I myself have seen many soldiers die next to me, and I would not want any other soldiers to die in the future, both in Europe and in other regions of the world,” Ben Wallace added.
Wallace served maybe one or two tours in Northern Ireland as a young Subaltern in the Scots Guards in the early to mid 1990’s Whilst British Soldiers were being killed in single digits by Republican Terrorists before the 1994 Ceasefire (the last on in 1997) there is no way that Wallace can back up this statement.
It’s an utter lie.
