Video: Maj.-Gen. Igor Konashenkov – Spox
🇷🇺🇺🇦 Briefing by Russian Defence Ministry
▪️ Units of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk Republic, with the fire support of the Russian Armed Forces, took control of Valerianovka, Zeleny Gai and blocked Novoandreevka from the south and east. The advance was 9 kilometers.
▪️ The grouping of troops of the Lugansk People’s Republic, continuing offensive operations, took control of Surovtsevka, Schedrischevo, Zhitlovka and blocked Rubezhnoe. The advance was 6 kilometers.
▪️ The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, continuing the offensive on a broad front, reached Novodonetskoe, Novomayorskoe and Pavlovka. The advance was 21 kilometers.
▪️ On the morning of March 12, high-precision long-range weapons attacked Ukraine’s military infrastructure.
💥 The military airfield in Vasylkov and the Main Centre of Radio and Electronic Intelligence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Brovory have been disabled.
💥 During the day, Russian aviation and military air defence shot down 5 unmanned aerial vehicles, including 2 Bayraktar TB-2 and 1 Tochka-U tactical missile.
💥 Operational-tactical and army aviation hit 145 military assets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
💥 Including: 3 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8 command posts and communication centres, 5 ammunition and fuel depots, 78 areas of military equipment concentration.
▪️💥 In total, during the operation, 3,491 objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine were disabled.
💥 Destroyed: 123 unmanned aerial vehicles, 1,127 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 115 multiple launch rocket systems, 423 field artillery guns and mortars, 934 units of special military vehicles.
Do you see what I see? Previous updates quoted the distance of advance sometimes 2 km, sometimes 4 and generally smaller numbers. Here we see 9 km’s, 6 km’s, 21 km’s. I don’t know if this will hold or what, but I just noticed that.
Yes! Well done, Russia! The world is with you!
The FREE world, rather. The Western sheeple continues in a stupid russophobia which he does not even know how to explain.
some in the pretend-free West are with you.
Of course most people are sheep, that is nothing new. That is why it is the responsibility of intellectually capable men of good character to tend the flock. What we are witnessing here, hopefully I’m not being too pretentious, is the beginning of an Hegelian synthesis, an invigorating resolution, between Dostoevsky and Nietzsche. At long last the coming together of European Man, imbued with the vigor to survive yet tamed and made civilized by Christ. Only the Usual Suspects want to prevent that.
After two weeks destruction of fuel and ammo depots takes its tool. Notice discrepancy in number of destroyed tanks and destroyed MLRSs. (1,127 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 115 multiple launch rocket systems). Tanks are much more prone to stay out of fuel without proper logistics.
After 3-4 weeks military food supply is also depleted. We will know hunger started when civilians are expelled in large numbers as they become “useless eaters”. After that, it is matter of days before begging for negotiation starts.

“https://t.me/krioggen/1623 – Just a couple of weeks before the Russian “special operation”, a record amount of grain was exported from Ukraine. Thus, according to the ports of Ukraine, from February 11 to February 14, the shipment of grain from the sea terminals of Ukraine amounted to a record 867 thousand tons, which is significantly higher than last year’s shipments. Grain was exported even despite the fact that on the same dates the Russian Federation announced the closure of shipping zones in the Black and Azov Seas for military exercises, and de facto staged a naval blockade of the region. During the first half of February, wheat was exported from Ukraine: 548 thousand. tons (more than 100% compared to the same period in 2021), barley: 98 thousand tons (32 times more); corn: 2247 thousand tons (100% more). As a result, Ukrainians were left with a half-empty state reserve in the middle of the war”
I truly feel sorry for the Ukrainians that are stuck in this US occupied country. I wonder if they finally realize the West wants them dead. The same thing is happening here in the US. The cabal is done with us. They are tired of us breathing their air. God Bless Russia.
I’ll bet there was a debt that was owed and the grains were both used as leverage to buy new stuff, and a way to not pay the debtor.
Interesting times indeed.
Another holodomor in the making, implemented by the usual suspects, but it will be blamed on Russia.
To everybody who doesn’t know: Very easy to get a translation, just use Yandex browser & you can set it to auto translate to English (sometimes doesn’t work, so you have to do it manually).
Also, Yandex has that little button in the center which allows you in one stroke, to swap source and destination languages. Look for the two arrows pointing each way.
IMHO, Russia won’t have negotiations because Zelensky’s bosses don’t want them, they want to make this conflict last as long as possible.
Russia should continue to advance until dismantling the entire military apparatus of the Ukrainian army and the neo-nazi militias, arresting (or fully eliminating) the latter, and after the mission accomplished think about making negotiations.
The will of the general body of the Ukrainian resistance is waning: no strategic directives, difficulty in moving, static positions targeted, greater levels of population support as thugs are running instead of swaggering, concern for family members.
I saw a report on Telegram that 60 members of the UAF defected to DNR forces after their commandant ran off.
From what I understand many of the UAF units were ‘corseted’ (WWII term) by installing neo-Nazi officers or combining the neo-Nazi’s units with regular UAF units.
Thank you, Russian soldiers! :You are heroes!
I feel the same, pdb! You are heroes, Russian soldiers! Now you are doing exactly the same thing as in the second World War! You are fighting for a world in freedom. Greatings from Sweden!
Reportedly until a recent cold snap Russian mechanized forces had been restricted to roads which favoured the defender. With the ground hardening up Russia was able to maneuver with far greater freedom. If it stays cold we could see some dramatic Russian gains … provided exhaustion hasn’t taken its toll … however with greater freedom comes greater risks.
These ever-increasing advances against an evil enemy of dwindling strength also serve as a metaphor for the global struggle for the physical and spiritual salvation of European-descended people globally. This is only the beginning. One day, hopefully soon, the struggle for the survival of the European people and their civilization will be carried out in Western Europe and North America. Blogs such as this are absolutely integral to that effort.
Incidentally, here in the UK, north London, we cannot open Sputnik news for two days, now…
https://russian.rt.com/
Sputnik and RT fine in the SW of UK. My ISP does NOT sign up to the UK’s ‘great firewall’ though…
I confirm this, being in London. Maybe the large(r) isp(s) block it.
However, I have just accessed it, via a cached copy with https://yandexwebcache.net/ This is done by using Yandex’s search for sputniknews.com & clicking on the green text just below the heading of Sputnik News – World News, Breaking News & Top Storie
sputniknews.com …
If you use Firefox, go to Settings – General – Connection settings – enable DNS over HTTPS (Cloudflare).
I think it is only a DNS block, so this should help.
If you have an Android device, Sputnik and RT apps are available from apkpure.com. Just download the apk installation file and install. The apps still work with up to date news.
Sputnik is also on Telegram but RT channel is blocked.
@ Ralph, darkmoon and ftmntf,
I tried Yandex, but it did not work…
I coundn’t find Connection settings in Firefox, to enable DNS over HTTPS (Cloudflare)…
I got Sputnik Telegram channel!
I appreciated your suggestions. Many thanks!
Menu bar: Tools – Settings – General – Network Settings – DNS over HTTPS (Cloudflare)
@ darkmoon,
In Network Setting I have to click Settings… Then a smaller windows pops up that says Configure Proxy Access to the Internet:
No proxy
Auto-detect proxy settings for this network
Use system proxy settings
Manual proxy configuration
Automatic proxy configuration URL
I do not know how to configure this…
I can get some information form Sputnik in its Telegram channel, now. I hope this blockade is not permanent. Thanks, again…
Seriously? It’s the last option on the Network Settings page down to the bottom. Below all that you quoted.
darkmoon, I finally found it after those items… I had not noticed before that there were still more option below… I did select DNS over HTTPS. Restarted the browser. Tried to open Sputnik news. But, it did not open…
This is serious censorship, I suppose. As I said above, at least I can open Sputnik Telegram channel.
Many, many thanks. I will continue trying, tomorrow.
Using Firefox, I selected “use system proxy settings”, then “enable DNS over HTTPS” at bottom of window. below that “User Provider:” is set to “CLOUDFARE (DEFAULT)”
I have now tried all options suggested, twice. The Sputnik news webpage still doesn’t load. I suspect that the local server has censored Sputnik. I will try again in a few days, as it happened before.
Now, the Sputnik news channel in Telegram is also CENSORED, again, as it happened before but was eventually relaxed…
Censorship to free speech is EXPECTED to happen in the west, right? It is just stupid, frustrating, as it will NOT change my mind! I just hope it doesn’t get personal. I may ask help again, to the Saker contributors, if this persists for more than 2-3 days.
Many thanks.
The list of military objectives hit makes one realize how huge the infusion of
weapons from the West has been. The poorest (and the most corrupt) country in Europe could not possibly afford such a military expenditure, not even counting the 30 biowarfare labs.
This also means that the US taxpayer, while in deep slumber, has been robbed again for enabling massacres that enrich the military-industrial-financial system led by ZOG.
I watched the UN Sec Council speeches yesterday and noticed that the Ukrainian representative referred to the RF representative repeatedly as “Soviet.” If he regards the RF as “Soviet” he must do the same for Ukraine– both were Soviet in the past. If so, the conflict is an internal affair between “Soviet” states and not the business of other countries. Or, he could describe himself as “the representative of Russian, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish territories.”
Finally, on a light note, I cannot resist including this thoroughly delightful Russian video:
https://twitter.com/SAM_Volhov/status/1501883688187015169?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1501950296750276609%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es2_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.unz.com%2Fghood%2Fhate-is-back-in-fashion%2F
Even the other “Baltic states”, and generally ex-Soviet states have been given enormous amounts of money since their entering the “European Union”, “NATO”, or both (it doesn’t make much of a difference, for the same forces controlling NATO control the EU, at least when it comes to cardinal issues of global weight).
Then, of course, who pays sets the tune… and governments, bureaucracies, have been renewed, placing in all slots that matter people co-operative with the “Western” projects and objects.
There will be no multi-polar world as long as only one world power is allowed to issue money without limit, and every other country accepts that as reserve currency, and use it for trade. The other things pour down from this prime fact — as money is bound to be the most effective instrument of corruption and gain of influence, at any place and time —.
It annoys me to see Canada send billions to Ukraine, where it will disappear and be stolen, as Canadians uffer from.poverty, even no safe drinking wster in rural areas.
Funny, I was thinking the same thing (your first point) when I saw the colossal ammo stores captured. The pitiful Ukraine economy simply couldn’t afford it and must have been covertly subsidised by the West. Presumably the black budgets of the CIA and suchlike.
Absolutely hilarious
Correction:
Change “Or, he could describe himself as “the representative of Russian, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish territories.”
to read:
“Or, he could describe himself as “the representative of Russian, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian and Polish territories.”
How could I forget Bessarabia and Bukovina?
They are going to be robbed again. $14.6 Billion to Ukraine when 40% of the country is occupied. None of that aid will serve Ukraine. One more laundering operation for crooked American families until the jig is up.
Loved the video! Funny. The Russians are smart and seem to have a sarcastic sense of humor which I love!
“The list of military objectives hit makes one realize how huge the infusion of

My immediate thought as well.
And we Americans paid for all that shit, like in Afghan, and now , POOF—it is blown to smithereens or maybe captured by the Russians.

I read an interesting article about Poland sending Mig jets to Ukriaine. Of course the US wanted a reaction from Russia against , Polamd. The Polish said we will send the jets to an American base and you can send them on. Canny move by the Poles.

Thanks, Amarynth, for the updates. The info spigot has opened a bit more lately, maps and all. Updates by Konashenkov have become regular, a real relief in the middle of the PSYOPS from the Empire of Lies. We are all suffering with Mariupol, but now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Mariupol taken, it will give a new impetus to the move west and north.
Cheers!

Here is what readers of the Financial Times were being shown this morning:
https://i.ibb.co/JkwQRnK/ft1.jpg
And this is the Saker version:
https://i.ibb.co/k3KBtp5/ft3.jpg
They both cannot be correct.
This reminds me of the Alan Sillitoe book “The Key To The Door.” Among other things Sillitoe talks about his early teens during WWII. In 1944 he was working as an office cleaner for some businessman in London. Said businessman had a map of Europe on the wall and had marked the war frontlines with little coloured flags. Sillitoe saw that he had apparently forgotten to update the positions on the Eastern Front because all the flags were still very far inside Soviet territory as they had been over a year ago. So he moved them to the correct positions as reported by the newspaper. Only later did he realise that the businessman’s sympathy lay with the Nazis against the USSR and he was reluctant to admit that the Soviet Union was winning the war.
I have seen almost the same map shown by the CNN.
Western media is all fake. Especially now. It’s best to read them as comic relief, or you will feel very angry.
The entire world needs to re-adjust itself. Globalism has lost all meaning, the Emperor of Lies is naked.
So when those forces surrender then CNN will say… what, exactly?
That the surrender is inexplicable, seeing as how the “Putin Regime” is within days – if not hours – of collapse?
That the surrender simply hasn’t happened, and those long columns of sulking Ukrainian soldiers are really “advancing” deep into enemy territory?
Or does CNN simply not report it?
That’s the problem with the Mighty Wurlitzer: you can play it for a while, but eventually the noise of the outside world insists on intruding.
This is more likely a function of the slowness of msm platforms. The FT guys probably took days putting that article and together and by the time it was ready to publish, their map was out of date. For their audience at the FT, it doesn’t really matter, since they are not savvy enough to notice. For the editors, it is “good enough” to get their clicks and ad revenue. This is pretty typical; just look at any story breaking news in a field of your expertise and you will notice they are almost always late to the party, and woefully inept at capturing the facts/details.
The New York Times published a map yesterday that did not show the Ukrainian forces trapped in cauldrons. The source of the map was the American Enterprise Institute, aka Neocon Central.

Last week I was quite concerned. This week I feel optimism again, several little signs show the wheel is turning. Indeed with each day passing day attrition becomes higher for the Ukie forces.
Thank you Russia, thanks to all the Russian soldiers !!
I for 1 am not going to be and am not ever going to be a good German. I not only don’t support the nazis I support the Russians and have said so publicly. We’re all going to be canceled anyway I have decided to go down fighting. Maybe we won’t even go down maybe we win.
How much of Mariupol is left to liberate? It is really hard to get accurate information. I looks like Russia has control of perhaps 2/3 of it by now? Is that a fair estimate?
The value of its capture cannot be underestimated. It really is Azov Central. I think Ukie resistance will really crumble after its fall. To me this should be Russia’s top priority.
Mariupol and all of Novorossiya is surrounded by Russian Army. NAF (Novorossiya Armed Forces) is tasked with cleaning out the orcs. Substantial portions of the orcs, both regular army and nazi battalions, are in the cauldron. Few will survive. Mariupol is being carefully invested and so far outlying settlements have been taken. It is estimated that in excess of 300,000 civilians are in Mariupol and the task of getting at the orcs hiding behind and among civilians greatly complicates the task of helping the orcs in to the void.
Auslander
I’m not sure. The DPR is advancing from the east and the Russian Army from the west. The line is holding in the north. It’s basically a slog. The other day the antifa advances was only 800 yards.
The best NATO minds have been developing the Ukrainian Junta forces for 7 years.
It is widely considered an attacking force should be 7 times larger than a defending force in order for the attacking force to win.
And them Rooskies had a less than 1 to 1 force ratio, and walked past all the 7 years long prepared NATO backed force in 2 weeks.
You couldn’t make this sh!t up ! ! !
I am very, very disappointed by the level of preparedness Russia on the economic, financial and social realms. But to find out that half of its war chest of billions was in the hands of the west. People that convinced Putin that was a safe idea deserve to be put away for a very long time for treason.
This is obvious a war of independence and security, and the west has long prepared to show that this entire world is theirs and if one wants to have independence, one must move somewhere else. But, fortunately, they are showing the same thing to the rest of the world what is in store for them…
The faith of Venezuelan gold or Libya’s gold is what in store for your wealth if you don’t obey. Russians should have be more careful I hope the Chinese are taking copious notes…

How much of Mariupol is left to liberate?
Nobody could answer you that question, not even the army surrounding it.
Ukronazis are using all the tricks under their belts to prolong the suffering of the people under their control and keep the Russian army/LDNR from advancing.
They have mined all roads, and we can assume, all buildings they are using, even hospitals they kicked everyone out.
They have put up signs everywhere “Don’t shoot, civilians here,” and either moved to live with the civilians in their buildings, kicked them out or killed them and occupied their houses.
They have dug concrete bunkers next to the civilian population (See Andrei Martyanov’s video), had 8 years to choose location and building patterns, the bunkers are solid. Russians are going to need bunker buster bombs to displace them, problem is, they are in populated houses’ backyards.
So, don’t despair, the Russian army + LDNR troops know what they are doing. Trying to rush them playing the armchair general is to wish them death. This is a carefully planned operation, where patience will be the best ally. And Russians have been deliberately patient from the beginning. What they need the most from us, is our prayers.
Lone Wolf
I agree with you especially as to Ukraine having had 8 years to prepare.
I firmly believe Kiev has bombs, serious bombs possibly nuclear, planted throughout the city.
I think there is a Samson Option planned and Russia will be blamed. My dreams tell me the same :(
Do we have to rethink reliability to sites like Colonel Cassad? Here’s what Andrei Martyanov wrote few ours ago:
“I will address the issue of an abject failure of the main masturbation subject for fanboys and military porn lovers–Ukie UAVs–in a dense air defense environment and with fully operational air force later. Many people do not understand that this was predicted and I wrote extensively on this issue, such as this, a year ago:
As for Turkish dramatically overrated UAVs’ operations against what turned out to be a grossly outdated and untrained Artsakh air defense, and Turkey having, in reality, a rather mediocre military force when faced with determined and experienced enemy–Turkish operations’ collapse in Idlib in 2020 once Syrians pulled in their good ol’ Osas and Buks is an exhibit A of Turkey’s military limitations.
In general, it will be fascinating to discuss how ignorant militarily people are when buy into military porn not understanding what is behind all this “shiny” military technology operationally. As Andrey Raevsky pointed my attention today to this link (found out at Colonel Cassad’s site) with a pseudo-military psychobabble by some Ben Connable:
“*Updated: Russian Occupation of Ukraine Troop-to-Task Estimate*”
I begin to wonder why this Boris Rozhin posts this amateur BS on his site, but then again, I am on record–the guy who promoted mentally unstable Girkin (Strelkov) and never served a day as a cadre officer (in fact, he never served at all), guess from three times why I never defer to him or his resource. But on the subject matter of article–this “professor” of security studies better learn the actual situation on the ground in 404 and stop applying irrelevant lessons from the 20th century. Not to mention the main fact of Russia having no intentions of occupying Ukraine, not to mention the fact of inevitable formation of militias in liberated areas which will deal with counter-insurgency primarily. But that is just a side note. ”
Deep Understanding Military Operations Matter. DUMOM
I believe Cassad’s site is unmoderated, other than period cleaning of house. It frequently has posts from an Israeli-firster who pops up when (and only when) there are comments critical of Israel. There was also a deranged monomaniac who seems to have left for better pastures. Not every site is as fortunate as this one in resources. I rarely read the comments, other than for links to videos, as there seems to be a lot of Russian slang which doesn’t translate well.

The Saker uses Colonel Cassad reports, which of course he can compare and select against a Niagara of information he processes. All info needs to be taken with a grain of salt, verified and check against other sources, no matter who. I trust the Saker and Martyanov in terms of filtering the information for us, and I believe Martyanov is spot on addressing this issue.
I use Cassad’s maps, which are also reproduced here.

why has the donetsk frontline been so static? is this a RUS trap to concentrate neonazi hordes there before extermination?
The Russians are starving them out. Eventually, anyone there who still holds weapon in his hands, will be dead.
Others will be taken prisoner or set free, depending on their behaviour. Essentially, people trapped there are a bargaining chip.
The Donetsk line contains the strongest and most capable Ukrainian forces, who were planning to launch and offensive against the breakaway republics. Until Russia struck first and ruined their plans.
You have to remember that those republics only controlled around half of the territory that they claimed for themselves when declaring independence. The Ukrainian army was sitting on the rest.
I suspect – pure speculation on my part – that the Russians want the Donetsk forces to be the ones to liberate their own territory. You know, heroic myth-making stuff that will stand them in good stead for decades to come.
But those Donetsk forces aren’t strong enough to do that against determined Ukrainian forces, and if they attempted to do so then they would suffer crippling losses. Not exactly the stuff of legend.
So the Russians have told the Donetsk forces not to go gang-busters. Not yet.
The Russians have launched their forces behind the Ukrainian forces and threatening them with being caught in a cauldron. If the Ukies had taken the hint and pulled out to the west then – hurrah! – the Donetsk forces could then advance without any hinderance and retake all their territory. Myth-making made big, with miniscule losses.
If the Ukies stood their ground (which is what appears to be happening) then it takes longer, but the end result is no less assured: the Russian forces reduce the pocket, and when Ukie resistance collapses then the Donetsk forces get the green line to advance and take back their territory. Again, Myth in the making, and little Donetsk blood is shed.
If that is accurate then it explains why the Donetsk front is relatively static: the Donetsk republic doesn’t have the manpower to just throw those men at the Ukrainian forces. So those Ukrainian forces have to be removed from the chessboard before the Donetsk forces can move out and liberate their own territory.
With, of course, more than a little help from their friends. They’ll owe Putin one.
They’re dug in deep as Hell! They’ve had eight years to dig in there!
This could just be 2am speaking, but what if this was all some sort of pre determined plan. NATO allies would know that Ukies are folding so why do they send such large ammo supplies. Reminiscent of the fall of Kabul and the US just packing up and leaving billions of $$ of gear “behind”{which the Afghans are just going to use on the Chinese-betcha!}
So if the ammo ends up with the RF, then who is RF going to use it on? The Chinese?
I have to finally get around to reading Golitsyn. I got that book lying around somewhere….
On the amount of munitions and now the 14 billion or so sent to Ukraine.
The US MIC will be paid for those munitions and the money will probably in large measure go back to them via organizations set up to “help.”
IMO they could care less that they are never used, and if used or sold? Why so much the better. More MIC arms will be needed to repel the now newly “armed” enemy.
Golitsyn is worthless, friend, a relic of an attempt to brand the Soviet KGB as the operational killers of JFK instead of America’s Establishment and International Fascism. Golitsyn attempted to renew his lies and claimed that the collapse of the Soviet Union and Communism was faked. Such a theory today is the preserve of Fascist lunatics in America (Mormons, Fatima Fanatics, Evangelical ” Russia is Magog ” types) who have a deep need to hate Russia and her continued existence.
Most of people have no real understanding of military operations at all. If you have been in Army even as just foot soldier you’ll understand very soon the complexity and big issues of logistics. Land warfare is never fast exiciting blitzkrieg as myth makers are dreaming. Everyone who have studied military history understand that even after most succesful penetrations deep through enemy lines smashing and mauling him very badly will have its price to be paid: lagging support and supplies. Red Army and Western Allies faced these issues during Sept-Nov 1944. Ukraine is very large country (bigger than France, Sweden and Finland) with hundreds of urban areas. How can anyone be so naive thinking it’s just cake walk? Yep, they are exhausted but many RF units too are not fresh and in 100% full strength too.
Ukraine is about the size of Texas.
Largest country in Europe, besides Russia.
This is the true issue. If the goal of Russia was just to destroy the country and make it a perpetual humanitarian catastrophy, that goal could be reached with far fewer casualties. The USA had exactly this goal whenever it bombed other countries. USA could do this because it has informational monopoly inside NATO countries.
But the goal is to make Ukraine neutral, to demilitarize and de-nacify it. Doing this requires that areas previously held by nazies be liberated and the nazies themselves either buried two meters under or pushed back to Poland. This is a much harder goal.
The Ukrops appear to have reused video of explosions at a military munitions store in 2017 as evidence of Russian strikes on Kharkov.

I have to say Colonel Cassad has been almost one empty rucksack with sweaty footwraps.
think how fast populations will be mowed down once the Schwabs really take the gloves off. What we are seeing is biblical, and we are not the good guys.
I see a lake of fire.
Keep in mind that even RF MoD likely exaggerated at least little bit Ukrainian combat vehicle & heavy weaponry etc losses. If even 60% of claims are true the results so far have been good. E.g claims of pilots are normally too optimistic. Captured and counted csses most likely are realistic.

A piece of news that is puzzling. Russia has warned the west that convoys of arms supplied from there CAN be subject to Russian attack – on Ukrainian territory. How is it that they are still allowing such convoys to run from Poland or Romania or Hungary? A case of prolonging the war and harming Russian soldiers by letting those weapons reach their destination. Incomprehensible.
No convoys from Hungary. Orbán has made it clear many times that Hungary won’t send soldiers and won’t allow weapon transfers through its territory. In fact, there is a government ad campaign on TV, which emphasizes that Hungary will stay out of this war as long as he is PM. We will have elections in 3 weeks’ time and I will vote for him simply due to his stance on the war. Otherwise he is not my kinda guy.
Actually there are no convoys. They put all creates with military equipment into civilian trucks and vans. It is really hard to take them out. But on the other hand, many of these weapons will never land in a hands of Ukie troops.
Many of them will end up on the black market. All these manpads and anti-tank launchers are very wanted things by cartels, paramilitaries and terrorists.

Earlier, a number of foreigners came to get adrenaline, having fought against the Russian army, but ended their earthly journey ingloriously under the rubble.

The map is now in the process of adjustment, if there are specific amendments on the merits, you can clarify in the comments I will throw them on the blog too, and then many complain that I do not post maps in the blog and it is not clear where certain settlements are located.

I don’t understand that map really.
(I like the one with the advancing red :-)
It is more realistic; it shows contours and troop movements in different directions. The red map attempts to show areas under control, in reality not everything in red is under Russian control. Russian army’s “blitzkrieg” (can we use that term?) is bypassing many cities and towns which are still occupied by either Ukrainian army or Ukronazis. In reality, there is no perfect map.

It looks like PMR has been inadvertently truncated in the map!
I’ve been looking at the map videos produced by “Defense Politics Asia” on Youtube. He seems to get his info from sources like Rybar on Telegram. He does a detailed analysis of the Russian movements, estimating what their next target would be, like a nuclear plant or a road hub to cut off Ukrainian resupply. He published several videos day.
I don’t know if his sources are good or his military analysis is on point, but the maps are very close up and specific about Russian movements. I just hate that he’s constantly moving the map around and up close, then back, to the point where I get dizzy.
Anyone else using him?
Russian mechanized units seem to be equipped with Electronic Countermeasures to ATGMs:

Foreign Ministry: Masks have been dropped – what we offered yesterday, we will not offer tomorrow.
Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov:
“I would not say that the proposals on security assurances, which you have said, remain in force, yet completely changed the configuration, the situation is radically different, and the question is how to achieve the goals set by our management before a special military operation, these goals has been repeatedly stated, they are well known”.
“In relations between the Russian Federation and the United States and the West, masks have been thrown off, an economic war has been declared. Western sanctions are not related to a special military operation, they would have found other reasons to implement their sanctions plans. Russian sanctions lists against the United States are already ready”

Russian MoD shows capture of Ukrainian airfield (VIDEO)
Moscow has released live-action footage showing a large-scale assault on the facility
“Live-action footage from a Ukrainian airfield was released by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Saturday. The video, which incorporates footage from soldiers’ body cams, shows troops arriving at the location by helicopter and then disembarking, before seizing the area.
In the footage, soldiers secure various buildings across the facility, along with an adjacent military installation. It also includes footage of Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters hitting ground targets nearby…”

Here’s some refreshing news: Blackwater Mercenary Teams Eradicated in Precision Russian Strike on Luxury ‘Skivvy’ Hotel
https://www.veteranstoday.com/2022/03/12/ukie-war-blackwater-mercenary-teams-eradicated-in-precision-russian-strike-on-luxury-skivvy-hotel/
The Russian military carried out a precision missile attack on the Ukraina Hotel in Chernihiv.
This is reported by Russian war correspondents accredited by the Ministry of Defense in the combat zone.
“The so-called “Foreign Legion” was based in the “Ukraine” hotel in Chernihiv.
As part of the legion, on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, mercenary militants fought, who came from different parts of the world to confront the Russian Armed Forces.”
This was the NGO group that slaughtered 17 Iraqi civilians, Erik Prince, founder of the private military company Blackwater, was given a presidential pardon by Donald Trump…
It seems the Snake Island fiction drags on. Can anyone confirm with a Russian news source that the Russian Project 22160 patrol ship Vasily Bykov was either damaged or sunk during the operation in Odessa? The news in the USA is hot and heavy on this the last 24-48 hrs even though they claim the event occurred around the 7th of March. Thanks.
I did google it and it seems like the ship was damaged by MRLS?
I only saw a blurry MSM new blip, claiming a missile strike, but to me, it looked more like the backblast exhaust and smoke from a missile launch by the Russian vessel…Believe nothing at this point, they also broadcast that the Ukrainians blew up their (unburnt) flagship, which actually looks like it was scuttled and abandoned at the dock by flooding…

“We will continue to target foreign mercenaries who arrive on the territory of Ukraine”, Konashenkov stated.
In addition, the Russian Air Force and air defences destroyed several Ukrainian aircraft, including one Su-24 (NATO reporting name: Fencer) attack jet and 11 unmanned aerial aircraft.
I am happy that Russia is winning this fight brought onto Russia.
May all the terms wanted by Russia be met
