FWIW, the image/graphic has clickable areas, but they don’t go anywhere– the page just “blinks” and remains unchanged. I disabled AdBlock and NoScript, but got the same non-results.
One click brought up a big green “download now” button, which I rashly clicked– it took me to a site called “http://free.onlinemapfinder.com”.
It is because they embed the whole southfront webpage on this webpage, it is especially difficult on mobile devices like tablets and smartphones, they better provide the youtube link to the video.
War propaganda. On higher level than ever before, at least from the Russian side.
I am impressed with this propaganda, but I am at the same time very scared because we don’t see who are the true sides in the conflict.
This faces of men who are fighting for ISIS show desperate and poor people. This people are not the main enemy of the world. I wonder how many of this desperate, manipulated Muslims have any idea what they really are – ISIS, aka Israeli Secret Intelligence Service.
It is time for all the masks to begin falling.
It is time to bring the Iranians into the war. That is the only thing that can possibly reveal the truth about who the true enemies are in this mess, possibly in the last battle of humankind.
It is time for Iran to step in, it is time to see the Iranian army on the borders with Israel. The true enemy must show its face to the whole world, and the only thing that can make them to be seen is to bring Iran into the game. Now!
I’ve had enough of this satellites of the Zionists. Turkey, KSA, ISIS etc.
Dear Wend,
Wend you are decent and gentle person, from what I’ve read in your many posts you truly come across as a gentle person.
With respect to the ISIL cadres, i get the impression you have too much compassion. Compassion without discrimination of thought leads to sin. What sin say you? The sin of self delusion and (later) dereliction of duty.
I’ll admit that my knowledge of Hinduism is still rudimentary (as is my knowledge of the Orthodox faith – lay people don’t delve in like the committed). So forgive my lack of completeness (am still studying the Shastras of my brethren)
With respect to your compassion for the lower echelons of ISIL looking like poor and underprivileged, don’t let that delude you. They still make a choice to be weak and selfish and go along with their peers in torturing and raping others. Imagine these pigs forcing themselves on a helpless christian or yazidi (Hindu) girl child begs and screams for them to stop and they don’t stop and instead laugh. Higher ordered souls would choice self-death over giving in sadism and murder.
In line with your Hindu or Vedic faith I’ve taken the liberty to extract the following from Bhagawad Gita as Lord Krishna tries to dispell Arjun’s grief at being obliged to kill so many people in the ranks of the enemy army, even though for a just cause against a psychopathic, land-grabbing and insatiable enemy – the Kauravas (proto-Anglo-Zionists? ;-) ) . Actually kill is too gentle a word for Arjun has to do to the Kaurvan Army, more like slaughter (- swords, maces, arrows, lances, pikes, spears, slicing-chakras, chariots and other sharp brutal weapons result in the bloodiest of carnage).
Bhagawad Gita Chap 2 verse 11: The Blessed Lord Krishna said: While speaking learned words, you are mourning for what is not worthy of grief.
“This faces of men who are fighting for ISIS show desperate and poor people. ”
I don’t doubt they are.And its sad really. But you must remember that most deluded men that serve an evil cause aren’t always evil personally. But does it really matter if the man trying to kill you is evil or just brainwashed. I’m sorry, but as I lay dying with a bullet in my chest. I wouldn’t be thinking ” I’m glad my killer isn’t a real bad guy”. I think I’d be more upset that I hadn’t got him before he got me. War is like that. Most of the men on all sides are just regular men.Its the brainwashing propaganda (religious or secular) ,that for example, got most of the Germans to serve the nazis in WW2. And the Russians ended by having to kill those men before they killed them.
Frankly I am not aware about your earlier comments. But I will comment based on your present comment as well as reply given by Espelho.
Your comment presupposes one distinction about wrongdoing. That there are evil people who know that they are doing bad things and keeps doing it and there are misguided people who do bad things with good intention. As per you, the second people deserve compassion. You bracket those ISIS fighters in the second group.
In my experience, I am yet to see a single person who knows that what he is doing is bad & still keeps doing it. Most people will always rationalize their own action on some pretext or other. It is human psychology.
What about some people who are good at heart but doing bad things as they are misguided ? Yes, there are some such good people who can do that (act evil sometimes). But they will always introspect from time to time about their own actions.
Now ISIS cadres are doing loot / rape / beheading / selling & owning slaves. It is a crime against humanity. Will they allow the same atrocity against their own beloved people ? No, they won’t. That means they don’t respect humanity or even God’s best creation. To them, it is either Wahabi or Kuffr and any atrocity against Kuffr is acceptable … or even may be preferred.
Now, even if these cadres don’t fight anymore, do you find anything positive about them ? At least most of us don’t find that. Mercy is only applicable to people who can redeem themselves and become better humans … not for everyone.
I agree (somewhat) with Espelho. In Hindu system, before giving “daan” (giving away without strings attached), there is a mantra recitation to do “sanskar” (basically purify / renovate/make better) of the recipient. Even in marriage, the father of the girl will touch the prospective groom at thigh and recite the mantra – before giving away the girl (kanya-daan). But please note that Not everything can receive a “sanskar”. Same way, mercy can be given to deserving candidates – not everyone.
Regarding sin part … the word used is ‘Paap’ – this has same root as ‘Patana’- falling down. Basically paap / sin is some action whose reaction (Karma, if you prefer) make you weakened / vulnerable/exposed to some bad experiences. If you keep on giving mercy to these ISIS cadres, you will create a situation which will be exact copy of Rajput kings, who were too noble, did to invading Arabs. Prithviraj Chauhan did the same mistakes.
Regarding the best course of action – please read the complete couplet – not the first line ONLY
Ahimsa Paramo Dharma
Dharma Himsa Tathaiva Cha
Non-Violence is the best Dharma (Dharma = Righteous action)
Righteous violence / violence to safeguard Dharma is also the best.
I agree with most of the comments expressed here. God has given humans the privilege of choice. Unlike angels, who are created to obey and do no sin, humans were given brains with frontal cortex to help them think and decide. Off course, we have to take responsibility for our actions and God has promised accountability in this life as well as on the day of judgement. Therefore, both lower and higher cadres of ISIS are responsible and accountable for their deeds.
No religion authorises torture, rape, murder, theft etc. All the religions are bassicall
Thank you all for your kind words (Uncle Bob, Chakra, Shaman), but especially Espelho.
I cannot go against Gita. You convinced me with the verses from Bhagavad Gita.
Anyway, what I truly do not forgive to “ISIS” fighters is the destruction of cultural heritage in the Middle East. Some things are simply sacred, if you are a human being. We must also have in mind that one of the main goals of the Zionist masters of the West, if not the main goal, is to destroy everything in the Middle East that does not belong to the Hebrew cultural heritage. Since “ISIS” has been doing just that, the story is closed for me now.
The war has to be won.
I’ll try as hard as possible to suppress compassion for those who consciously chose to serve this most grotesque Empire.
(But I still think that it is time for Iran to march in.)
Speaking of Russian weapons, there is a rather convoluted piece at PCR. PCR is not a pilot and got caught up in the alleged (by thug Erdogan) 17 seconds SU-24 transit of the Turkish salient (formerly Syrian) that juts into Syria.
Given those 17 seconds, the alleged transit airspeed works out to 243 mph or 211 knots, which is suspiciously slow for a war zone. PCR stated this was close to or at stall speed. The SU-24 has a variable swept wing that goes from horizontal to swept back for speed. Top speed is a supersonic 710 knots at sea level and considerably higher at altitude.
As near as I have been able to find out, the stall speed is an unverified 124 knots (143 mph) -but that would almost certainly be unswept and with flaps down (flaps lower the stall speed -for landing).
At 6,000 meters the SU-24 certainly would not have had any flaps down and so other than it being a much higher airspeed I don’t know what the ‘clean’ unswept stall speed is. It may indeed be the 243 mph quoted. Complicating matters, I also don’t know if the SU-24 is designed to fly at some variable amount of sweep.
Although I have been unable to find out what the swept stall speed is, it may be academic since the falling plane appears to be unswept and this is probably normal for those short flights in Syria.
Making an educated guess I’d say the flaps would reduce the stall speed by at least 10 and maybe 20 knots -to 154-166 mph. Still well below the 243 mph mentioned, however a slow 243 mph is nevertheless unlikely a good cruising speed nor desirable for a war zone.
Does anyone have access to normal cruise speeds for the SU-24 and what the various stall speeds really are?
All the religions basically provide templates of life to enhance social cohesion and human welfare. It’s the human beings with their ability to commit evil who abuse the power of religion for their own mean goals. The biggest problem in this era, imho, is the legalisation of evil and the crimes against humanity being sanctioned by states rather than individuals and there’s no system to apprehend these rogue states properly. The Anglo zionists, French, British, Israelis, Saudis, Pakistan is, Indians all are guilty of using religion to further their evil goals.
I am sure the Hindu scripture didn’t sanction the killing of thousands of Indian Muslims by the Butcher of Gujrat. Similarly, I don’t think Islam sanctioned Pakistanis to destroy Afghanistan and in fact a big part of their own country under the partnership with their American masters.
Thanks for your personal and unproven theories on religion. As well your faith in linear materialism and the mundane.
They are as convincing and consistent with the facts as your current mortal coil and level of knowledge allows for.
I noticed you didn’t mention the biggest butcher in human history: Western Christian Churches: Catholic and Protestant as well as expansionist Islamist Islam that slaughtered millions.
Thank you for further validating the views of those of us with a higher knowledge, of a higher belief just how quickly ignorance and delusion descends upon those limited individuals who for reasons of personal ego and insecurity and tribalism cannot countenance that other faiths did not commit the same crimes that theirs did. Such weak individuals would like to hide behind nonsensical slogans like all religions are basically the same: they are not. They do this in order to paint everyone with the crimes of their own particular ethnic group and faith. It is a terrible slander and a terrible sin that a true Christian, Jew or Muslim would do penance for.
Ascribing the mass crimes of the Catholic/Protestant Churches and Expansionist Islamism to the Buddhists, Eastern Orthodox Church or Hindus is a vicious sin and a lie: Is Salafist Islam the same as Shia Islam or Sufism? No! It is not. Is the enlightened and inclusive faith of Hezbollah the same as that of the demonic Saudis? No it is not!
All religions are not basically the same, that is a premise based on either well-meaning ignorance or deceptive premeditated malice.
there’s nothing there — no article, no link —
It’s been that way with SouthFront postings, on my computer at least, for weeks.

Thanks.
I did already, but my comment was aimed at improving the situation, maybe the webmaster can have a look at it.
Vpn via Russia. Don’t have your volume too loud.
Same here . Nothing to see.
Damn. You guys are good. Where do you get this stuff?
I keep telling myself: I’ve got to get some work done. But I’m having so much fun here…I’m ashamed to admit that.
If only this energy could be transferred and transformed to what?
War + Peace = Love
Mass times the speed of love squared equals energy without end, also known as a vineyard of lovers.
Some kind of flash setup? Why does the southfront menus pop up? Kind of being on the southfront site itself..

Ok Southfront: that was very freaking KOOL!
I can’t praise that video and its authors enough. It’s a work of art.
ISIL-Daaaesh looks totally impotent and weak against the Russian onslaught.
Ok Southfront you did a fantastic job! Excellent choice of music too.
There’s something therapeutic about watching Daesh and other Islamists getting showered by cluster bombs. No I’m not a bad person for saying that.
I agree, good music too…but you know what ?
The earth’s atmosphere is so polluted from those war machines and who is the profiteer from this?
Chi ching chi ching chi ching…the war industrial complex.
But …
I totally agree it has to be done…and God Bless Russia for doing it.
Earth shall recover.
