Makes you wonder about “scientific fact”. There was a fun book by Michael Crichton recounting a supposed ancient manuscript that describes a first hand account of Neanderthals. Was supposedly only several hundred years old.

Interestingly, the Wrangel Island find was dated to 2000-2500 B.C. A mere blink of the eye.
Good Mammoth footage- How did it taste?
The pony clip was impressive, They look like the cave paintings. This was the only area we think that wild horses survived as a remnant, until some hairless apes dragged them off elsewhere isn’t it?
The C-47 take-offs- My first air-plane ride ,there was a long roll of these which we went by to board a stupid jet. I was terribly disappointed!
The jet we flew in was shortly after withdrawn from service due to divergent dive recovery problems.
The DC-3 ,C-47’s are still flying I note.
