Dear friends,
I have decided to ask for your opinion about this blog and about its future. I cannot promise that I will always follow the majority opinion, but I will try to do my best to address the issues raised. Please take the time to fill this survey and let me know what you think.
Many thanks and kind regards,
The Saker

Nothing to say, just wanted to see if I still can post. Another comment just didn’t want to appear -.-
good thing you said. It was in spam, I can’t really pick why.
When I first read this blog I was very glad and impressed. As an old norwegian communist I agreed almost 100% in the analyses. I was surprised when i found out that the Saker is an Russian Orthodox Christian. I liked that because the only way for the good to be victorious in both Russia and in the world is cooperation among all defenders of peace, democracy, national souvereignity and prosperity for all.
Therefore I was so disappointed when I read the positions of the Saker in the question of democracy and tolerance. I understand at once that such opinions lead to defeat, and these pages will therefore lose their relevance for a future for Russia as an example for the rest of the world. On the contrary, the future of Russia then will be the same as for the other imperialist countries.
Worse, when I saw the video on this page and listened to an Islamic scholar, stating that behind both capitalism and communism you will find the Jews I realized that this is nothing else than fascism. Russia can only be a good example for the world if it further develops the best from the Soviet Union and refute the worst.
And the worst was the same attitude to democracy as the Saker has. the Saker will simply replace “the leading role of the party” with the leading role of the Russian Orthodox Church and their priests. That will be a disaster for Russia and an end to the promising cooperation among all people against imperialism today.
Greetings. Saker will see this here. Perhaps he can point you to specific articles you may have missed. I spaced out your post to make it easier to read.
@Regi Theodor Enerstvedt –
Just a couple thoughts from a third party here…
1. I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but Saker has mentioned several times that he doesn’t always entirely agree with all the commentary (from others) that he posts here. He often shares stuff where he simply things there are some useful insights to glean or perspectives to consider.
2. On a similar note, I don’t always agree with the Saker on everything, and certainly not on a lot of the religious matters, as I’m more of an agnostic/atheist, but I nonetheless find his postings here to be a valuable source of information, insights, and critical analysis.
I hope that you’ll continue to frequent this community in spite of your disagreements on certain issues with the Saker himself and some of his third-party contributors.
I very much appreciated your friendly comment. And I want to state that I find it very good that the Saker publish articles etc. representing different views. That is necessary. However, my criticism is relevant for the Sakers own opinion. Though, I do not give in, I will follow these pages in the hope of cooperation of christians, communists etc., all people of good faith because if the humanity wish to survive this is more than ever important.
Dear Mr. Enerstvedt,
A most precious quality of this blog is the open format with moderation. This allows many views to be expressed, and I will tell you that mine on the subject of Orthodoxy as a faith, Russian Orthodoxy that is, but Eastern Orthodoxy in general, are far different from those of Saker in many respects – but he has never censored my views or refused to post them. Eastern Orthodoxy is as varied in all but the fundamental tenets as any other faith. There are more open minded and even more American (in a good sense) versions. Separation of church and state as a founding principle was an element of my own little church, and I believe if you look at what Putin is saying in that wonderful film about Crimea, the absolute respect accorded to the Tatars and many other cultural groups in the Russian Federation is fundamental.
I will just give further a link to my own beloved monastic family – it is very different from Saker’s tradition but it is very Orthodox. This is a lovely site:
http://www.newskete.org/
Really glad to reading your tolerant and fine view.
@ regi
Amen to the last paragraph.
I think there should be another division of society…not government leading role and not church. I think Saker is going the right way with his multi-cultural blog.
I don’t see the problem. There are different views being expressed. What you want is just that your sort of views should be expressed, but no Muslim or other religious scholars, and so on. Well, you can just go play the violin.

Hello Saker;
I enjoy your blog in what-ever form you use. but I must admit, I did prefer your previous iteration. Regardless, It is part of my home page and is the first blog I peruse each and every day.
A voice in the wilderness, heard by many and appreciated greatly’
David
Though it’s nicer ,it needs some restructuring. Access to the most important or worthy news is not really facillitated in spite of clearly set divisions and use of pictures. Too many headlines. It’s almost as if several dykes had to be crosses before getting to what you’re really looking for. Some news keep being put first though they’re no longer the most interesting ones. Some repetitions of stories could be avoided.
I’m sure those little shortcomings will soon be properly dealt with.
The clearly set divisions are for those who want to read back in one interest line.
If you want the every day fresh material, use the blog view — click the big Latest Articles bar for that view, or bookmark this link
/latest-articles/
That view stays in strict time order, freshest on top.
Did you also do the survey? click the pale blue highlighted line at the end of Saker’s post.
thanks Kat Kan…I didn’t find it until I read your comment. Its a fun survey eh ?
The Saker is wise.
The alphabet entertainment outlets in the US are trash.
I normally come to you over Ed Steers daily newsletter, when he picked one of your stories as a read. So it is all about the content – he picked my read at your place.
I hopped out of your survey, because being a visitor only I cannot answer those questions.
I grew up in the cold war in West Germany and Russia and East Germany were classic enemies. Midaged now, I have been to a lot of places and I never found these “enemy-guys”. I do not understand men like Rumsfeld or McCain, nor the people who elected them. I have my own brain and think logically and therefore cannot support western govenments. But alone I can only come to a certain understanding – it is Pepe Escobar, Jim Willie, Paul Craig Roberts, the Saker etc and the collectors like Russia-Insider or Ed Steers, who help me to develop my understanding, which is responsible for my decision-making. My deepest respects and best of wishes.
Welcome. We have several new posts every day.
This is XbNB. You probably won’t listen, you never do.But …
*I would like the option to enlarge the pics IF I choose, not have them fill the pages.
*Not enough of your commentary. It is as though you are enthralled with video.vid is for the low level concentrators.Although I read slowly,as in conversation heard, and stop to try and take it all in,I see a saker-tube developing here.
*If you don’t have something that day, don’t feel obliged to fill the space with ‘anything’.
*I come here now more for the comments than the text, although that Jewish guy is brilliant, and his video,7 parter, not on here, really caught my attention.
* Finally, the site works like a dream, the new guy is excellent, and I still luv ya.)
While you’re all here, do you have time for another quick one? Nothing nefarious happening , just kicking ideas around.

Is the link supposed to not work?
fixed now
I like surveys that allow input, not simply choices and radio button answers.
But what the heck? It’s your survey.
sorry, first one I ever did. You can reply to the comment it’s in?
Dear K.K. I did the survey on commenting, but didn’t really agree with any of the choices…perhaps you could put the “tell us why you chose that answer” in that survey too.
I would hate up and down voting on comments…are you talking about thumbs up or down ? How horrible. Facebook. Yuck
Same with me — difficult to choose, should need “none of above” plus commet field. But I like the idea, I will try to answer all survey you put up.
I agree with you. But I have an other question/suggestion. Right now, with the option to reply on a comment -which I like very much- it is difficult to find back the latest comments unless you scroll down over all the comments again. Is there perhaps a solution for?
and I don’t mind the moderation the way it is. And I would be willing to join. And we could even have a ‘subscription’ fee. Good idea. that’s what Catherine Austin Fitts does. By the way, she’s working on changing her site too. Must be the something overhead…aspects…
I wonder about Catherine Austin Fitts.
She is definitely a mixed bag. Her pay barrier is quite high. I have the feeling it is mostly for her weekly talks, since there is quite a lot of free material at her site. I find her talks rather difficult to follow. There always seems to be a logical link or two missing. I can’t help wondering whether her “talks” are sort of to the uncritical faithful. I have a number of speculations about her and her appeal but won’t go into them here. Except, she comes from conventional mainstream background and has a conventional waspy mainstream look, and this gives her a lot of leeway.
But this thread is not about her. Regarding a pay wall: NO! As someone else said, the comments, too, are a very valuable element of this blog. No one should be discouraged from reading and participating here by a pay wall, IMO. The info is too important.
Personally would prefer to see a sensibly run and structured fundraising/subscription plan, but voluntary. I have already posted about this at some length on a thread some weeks ago that was specifically about fundraising. Briefly, I think doing sensible fundraising might be seen as a signal of the blog “growing up” and doing needed planning for its future.
Katherine
I am sorry to see that you didn’t create any space for free text comments in the survey.
Take the example of voting comments up and down. I don’t like it as a popularity contest. However, it can be very useful when you can sort the comments by popularity and so see the most interesting when you don’t have much time available.
Also I would love to have some possibility to see back my old comments (so that I can check for reactions) or to get noticed when someone reacts to one of my comments.
Maybe it is better not have “like”s, but to have the ability to vote messages up and down. You don’t want to like a report that someone has been killed. But you may consider it an important message that others should read too.
Hello Saker,
I just wish to say that I enormously enjoy getting information on the global competition between the rivaling superpowers, and in a more focused way, on the events in Ukraine. Your news is unbiased, clear and very recovering to one’s polluted mind. By polluted I mean the news that we get from our MSM. Writing from the Netherlands where the unknowns have the hit the unknowns with flight MH17, I am looking forward to you feeding truth seekers more ‘knowns’ in the future! You work is helping us all to strive for a better and fair world.
Jean-Marie
Dear Saker
I check your blog daily and read everything on it, so you are doing fine as far as I am concerned. However, I would ask what is that you want to build? You see, I was happy ready your views on a simple blog. The new Saker “Community” is much bigger than a simple blog but I am not sure it is much more useful (at least to me). If you have a clear vision for the future of the Saker Community and this blog, then that is great. Where we are now will then be but a step in the realisation of that vision. If however there is no great vision for the future, then what is the point of getting so burdened with organisational, IT and legal issues. Thanks for bothering to do this, your work is valued by so many of us.
Agreed. To be honest I also got used to previous old “simple” blog. I’m mostly interested in Saker analysis, and not in this “community” thing. Just my 5 cents. But thanks to the Saker anyways.
I’m not arguing, but I love the community thing. It makes me feel a part of a bigger whole.
Like the hive-mind.
First step of human beings is hive mind — to belong to a tribe.
Second step is to become a separate Self, with own responsibility — a “grown-up” soul.
Third step is to volontarily join together and create communities based on love and cooperation.
Hive mind is very different from communities based on love and free choice..
FLOR Solitaria,
Being a part of the community is wonderful and that is what Ann and all that love this blog feel.. You replied to Ann’s feeling of belonging in this blog –“like the hive”.
The REAL”hive” is—The Tribe.
Jew you know what I mean?
I agree with this. Could we separate Saker’s articles from all the warm fuzziness that’s taking over?
Jim Stone very interesting piece up today March 24 on that A320 Germanwings jet crash in French Alps:
he’s even got some screen captures up of clear comments right after the event mentioning the fighters roaring past witnesses. how/why would they know to be near when there was no distress call at any time, & it took only 10 minutes from altitude to crash?
Just like OKC 1995, the first reports on many things, from reporters on the scene, are at complete variance with the official story later.

how sad.
Dear Saker,
your reports, interviews and opinions are extremely valuable to me. Whereas I understand your current effort the delegate some research work to another person or a team, I am afraid that you will become more of a manager than a primary investigator. I really appreciate blogs with clearly attributable author even though the updates are less frequent for obvious reasons.
Big thanks and best regards,
Marcel
Ergenekon (deep state) fully complicit running ISIS.
Well, the reports just a few months ago even named the Turkish embassy in Ankara for this.

Investigation implicates Turkey’s Intelligence Service MIT in Arms Trade with ISIS
Masum Gök (AD) : An alleged telephone conversation tape proving that Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization MIT is involved in arms trading emerged from the case file about ISIL, a.k.a ISIS or Islamic State’s attack in central Anatolian province Niğde.
According to the court file regarding the two suspects of ISIL’s terrorist action in Niğde, Ayhan Orli and Kassuma code named terrorist Muzaffer Yılmaz had a phone conversation about arms trading.
Please no up or down voting. It is a magnet for trolls.
How is “up and down voting” a magnet for trolls???
I think voting is an excellent way to weed out the great comments from the good ones from the mediocre from the trolls!
its unkind to us commenters. It would probably silence me.
LOL
But can’t we be left to decide that for ourselves?
I don’t like the up/down thing. just clutters the visual field with stuff piled on by readers who cant be bothered to frame a substnative post or contribution.
Keep it simple.
I too would like to see the emphasis stay on Saker analysis. Some introductory commentary has seemed a bit lightweight lately. Too much herding of other people’s material and not enough of own writing/thinking? Not that the items offered are not valuable. But I think this blog should remain a site for analysis, not principally an online anthology.
I think having a photo for each and every item is kind of a space waster and also visual junk. Not every item needs a photo or even provides any visual interest. From this point of view I prefer the visual simplicity of the old blog.
Katherine
That’s just your opinion. It works on many sites, and trolls can always be dealt with in other ways.
updown wastes time in that one feels an obligation to vote to remain included in the balance, but it gives no useful information as to why or what point is objected to.
Sometimes people get many votes up or down based on who they are perceived to be rather than what is said. It can discourage people from commenting, or lead to making too many comments not thought out, just to win a ‘popularity contest’, including a danger of self-editing and fearing to mention some topic that will be voted down and then have what was written ignored.
If you post something and get a zillion downs, what does that mean? It could be any number of things — including an organized effort by ‘interest goups’ (or trolls). Same with ups — what does it mean, and how does it advance exploration or dialog?
If someone wants to refute or support what was said, let them reply with words.
And it can lead to a useless kind of competition.
I agree with all the points made by those opposed to the up/down voting. It will take more away from the site than add to it.
I agree in opposing up/down voting. It becomes a popularity contest, and some people will down-vote posts by someone they are at odds with in a previous topic. It breeds animosity, and we are here to learn from each others life experiences and observances, and to foster respectful exchanges.
And as we know from politics, the act of voting never results in anything good :)
I agree, up and down voting is a silly thing to have. For one, a single person can vote *many times* for himself – or for anyone else – *even if the system is set up to “reject” repeated voting*!
Rejection is done on basis of the IP address, which anyone with DHCP connection to his internet provider can change by simply rebooting of one’s router; while still another way to change the IP address seen by the web site in question is to use TOR browser!
I have experimented once on a couple of web sites that had such a setup, purely as a social experiment, and noticed that if I gave myself many such fake “votes”, my “social standing” among the participants *suddenly became much higher*!!
I noticed that by seeing how more and more other people’s votes were given to my mediocre postings, and also by being much more frequently answered my posts and asked for my “opinions” :-))) You see: “everybody likes a winner”! That is just like in real life. People are to a great extent behaving simply like a *herd*, following the majority and not thinking critically for themselves, for that is much easier. Evolutionary speaking, such behavior might have some survival value (if you scare one bird, the whole flock will fly away, fearing a potential predator), but a limited one, and fully deserves utter contempt by anyone intelligent.
Betrayus whines, blames Iran:
His former commander, Admiral William Fallon, once called him “a piece of brown-nosing chicken shit.”

He claimed “Iraq and ‘coalition forces are making considerable progress against the Islamic State.”
He nonsensically said “the foremost threat to Iraq’s long-term stability and the broader regional equilibrium is not the Islamic State; rather, it is Shiite militias, many backed by – and some guided by – Iran.”
“Iranian-backed Shia militias could emerge as the preeminent power in the country, one that is outside the control of the government and instead answerable to Tehran.”

The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the costliest United States weapons system ever, has run into another delay, with the Pentagon extended testing to debug software flaws that need to be fixed before the jets can be integrated into service.
Air Force Lieutenant General Chris Bodgan said software testing in December revealed problems with the jets’ ability to fuse data about threats on the ground when four F-35s were flying at once. As a result, the aircraft had trouble identifying the number of targets.

dear moderator…I think that comment was really interesting…just keep out the trolls. Otherwise you become a ‘cop’ and who wants that ?
I have come to your blog in the past, and I’m wondering, did you just do a redesign? It looks a lot better, and the information seems to be more accessible than it was in the past. I credit your work and that of others for opening up my eyes on the role of American NGOs destabilizing sovereign governments around the world, especially Russia. Your work is important, and though I am just a poor boy, I hope you can find others to help support it, so I can continue learning. Thank you!
The best support is to share your thoughts here, then go out and spread the knowledge to people around you. Yes this design is only a month old.

Cassad has a very detailed article up about the ongoing schism Kolomoisky Porkshanks & Langley, possibilty further Maidan other cities, etc
Furthermore, this evening Palitsa, the appointee (for now?) of Kolomoisky in Odessa, reported that non-governmental security structures that controlled the city since the times of the Odessa Khatyn departed the city. The pressure on Kolomoisky is applied on all fronts and his retaliatory steps, which he took yesterday, by now look like a purely defensive reaction.
————————————–
In general, all of this looks like a huge gamble with very bad cards, where Kolomoisky will be fully defeated with a high probability, or he will be forced to accept a humiliating peace with a number of concessions for Poroshenko et al. His security resources are much weaker than the resources available to Poroshenko. And it is far from certain that the “Right Sector” brought up by the SBU and Yarosh, who is Nalivaychenko’s person, will not end up on Poroshenko’s side, because the “Right Sector” equally depends both on the SBU leash and on Kolomoisky’s money. The financial capabilities of Poroshenko are much higher (due to the ability to use the state resources and the possibility to use foreign resources). Unlike Poroshenko, Kolomoisky has no direct support.

The current blog is a thing of beauty, works smoothly, loads fast, allows linking to specific comments. Everything you may need. I use it always in the chronological order format. I hope it is being backed up somewhow.
I agree that what I appreciate the most in Saker is his own *written* analysis. That’s why most of us ended up here. So I tend to agree with those who say that he should not get too distracted with increasing administrative duties, podcasts etc.
In addition, the site has attracted a good number of excellent commenters who bring very valuable information. The better the post by Saker, the better the quality and quantity of the comments. It’s the opposite of a vicious circle. It is a virtuous circle.
Of course it is necessary to have some moderators (to prevent the blog from being turned into a dump by trolls and bots) and it looks like Saker has found some good ones he can trust, thus freeing himself to write.
In short. This blog is great. Keep it just as is. Don’t over complicate it.
Following Sakar in real time is better than wacthing the old TV series “24”.
As a student of “Art of Warfare” by Col John Boyd..It is apparent Putin has a formatableable “grand strategy” which the USA does not!
Keep up the good work..it is very important SITREP work for those who choose to listen.
I’m happy with any style you use to organize things, although I personally prefer “linear chronological”. Many commenters here post links that I find useful, but if they are wildly off topic it can be annoying, even if interesting, and may easily get buried and left unnoticed if submitted to a thread that has been active for a while. This is particularly true with threaded comments, because the newest comments aren’t necessarily in a predictable place.
A nice way of dealing with OT and breaking news comments might be to add a feature that is similar to the “Chronicle of Events” that they use at the Voice of Sevastopol website.
English (Yandexed) here: The Voice of Sevastopol
Original Russian here: Голос Севастополь.
They have a regular chronological setup for their main articles, but at the top of the main page there’s always a “blow by blow” list of events in a separate article. This has all sorts of entries, including their own stuff, comments and messages from various people, and links to other blogs and videos, but they start a new one every day, and provide links to older days in a convenient format. An addition like this might be good to have for the Vineyard.
If you had a permanently open comment thread (latest on top) called “report good articles” to keep the “comment on THIS article” on topic, it might help.
I hope all this calms down soon, as it is not in anyone’s inersett for it to continue. That, I believe, is why the French prime minister called Nick Clegg on Friday afternoon [to build bridges].
Please go back to the old blog where your commentaries were clear and visible. This new format is very confusing and really too cramped up.
Please ignore hate remarks against Islam and Muslims coming from brainwashed morons like Enerstvedt. They will never understand that they are falling into the trapped laid for them by those pushing for a clash of civilizations and those who have captured their minds. They also fail to see that Islamic countries have suffered colonial occupation and oppression for centuries, which they themselves have never experienced. This experience has created a reaction and it is the right of Muslims to react as they are still alive and they are fighting domination. If only the European and American slaves will rise up against their own oppressors! But I guess their are drugged into submission so no chance of them rebelling.
Putin is a saviour for the European if only the Europeans can wake up.
done the survey-thanks
my “frustration’ , is re all this other russian source information, discussions, documentaries, tv programmes , that I can’t understand and wish I could….have a section where the russian focus is brought to the western world-via Saker?
Of course-very grateful for anything that Saker does.
Have also a suggested a permanent open thread for all the odd ball comments/links; you know where some sites have a “block” of all the titles in different sizes that reflects how much content is proportionate to each(sorry can’t explain properly)-if this is et up in the permanent open thread, just click on which seems most appropiate to place your odd-ball comment/link
I like that idea of a permanent “open thread” (or something similar) for off topic comments, since often I find a news item or interesting commentary in which there is no related recent blog entry to post it under.
I like the idea.
It’s would be ‘enabling’ (although i dislike the word) for the large number of members with the vast number of important things they all see — much larger than what could be covered in a few post topics per day. (Such as the ongoing progress in exposing 9/11 false flag).
It could even serve as a sort of mini research pile. I get very sick of trying to find something on a topic and having to wade through a ton of old stuff and crappy MSM articles using google until I get to something relevant.
This is one inherent limit to the Saker blog — it can cover only a few topics or interviews a day and must, then, leave out a great deal.
A couple ideas on rearranging the comments layout:
I was wondering if there was a way to have the comments show up in chronological order, instead of the way they are now, with having it possible to switch between a chronological ordering and the way they are now? For example, at youtube comments can be switched from reply order to chronological order. Would it be possible to do something like that here? This way someone could see if there were any new comments without scrolling through all of them one by one checking posting dates.
An alternative idea could be to expand the “latest comments” at the bottom to show many more recent comments. That would mean probably giving it it’s own separate page because there is no room to list them as it is set-up now. Perhaps make the lists linked to each blog entry only show recent comment made under that specific entry, and have the lists under the general pages (such as Home, Latest Articles) show recent comments made on all the blog entries. Advantage of this system is that comments on older blog entries will then be seen easier and not simply lost to view like now.
Hi
Eill add your comment to suggestion and will review.
Thanks for the suggestion
Cool, thanks.
Why are my comments not getting published?
I checked and one was published eailier today. Review the moderation policy, almost all post get published, all cut and paste from other sources usually go to the trash. Repost I’ll take a look.
H.S.
I would like to see a page devoted to unresolved news events.
Example: MH-17. The world community is still waiting for the Dutch to publish their final report. The last item written about this item at the Vineyard is from December, 2014 (see: /new-testimony-about-the-shooting-down-of-mh17/ ). We should not let this roll off the “Table of Historical Truth”.
RT News reported on March 11, 2015 that, “Kiev-born Soviet and Russian aircraft designer Vladimir Babak said on Monday that the SU-25 jet – which was spotted tracking the MH17 Boeing at the moment it crashed down – did not have the capability to shoot down a passenger plane. ” See http://rt.com/news/239881-mh17-ukraine-fighter-jet/ ). Has this been refuted or substantiated by experts or is it just more of Poroshenko’s propaganda to deflect away from the Ukrainian junta?
The Malaysian families that lost loved ones on that aircraft have a right to know what caused the crash.
Would like to see dayly, or even bidayly , cartoon , joke, aphorism, philosophical insight, or similar, more or less related to events. The Saker already has some of it, e.g. Humor. Contributions by blog readers should be welcomed. Also to be subjected to moderator.
Another idea: artistic contributions, photo, painting, music, video or literary story, even movies. This place deserves aesthetic upgrade, don’t you think so? I am sure most of blog contributors have something to share and it would be fascinating to view it. The example is song Ural Ryabinushka that touched me deeply.
Last but not least: Library of guud (sic) sites , books/articles that can be relied upon their content, and so on. I am tired of reading so much material that is being advertised as truthful account but turns out to be junk, fake or fraud.

Just plain excellent.
Saker, your blog is a breath of fresh, unpolluted air in a toxic mediascape.
Some of us loathe Facebook and its ilk. We prefer anonymity. Hell, we know that the NSA will get our emails/IPs by hacking you. Damn, the NSA and a couple of dozen other alphabetical agencies from numerous nations already caught me posting here.
Find some other way to counteract the trolls/shills (I hate captcha but it stops automated attacks to some extent). If you become over-restrictive and deny access then readers will seek other sources.
Respect that or lose us.

You said: “respect us or lose us”
Who is this “us”. Speak for yourself only. The Saker will not lose those that enjoy being here and appreciate his daily hard work.
BTW…there is no “anonymous” to the NSA. Anywhere.

We asked everyone; let him speak.
Is this moderator comment really necessary or useful?
Please, let’s avoid Mommy moderation!

I speak for us obviously…not you
Dear The Saker,
No up/down voting , please. Thank you.

I liked the old format better.
To me The Saker is an insight to how a Russian views the rest of the world. It seems as though there is very little published in western media about what really is going on inside Russia unless it is negative.
I don’t always agree with The Saker but I always like to read his take on a subject.
Call me old fashioned, but I liked to old linear format of the blogspot version. That way I know I never missed a new posting by scrolling down the page. Maybe you can go back to that, but then have a side bar that groups articles by topic for those who want to browse by topic.
Love your blog btw. My go-to source for honest news about Russia. MSM is all propoganda. So sad that most ppl in the USA can’t see that. I fear for the future of the world.
I want to say since you changed your format I find your web site disjuncted. I liked the flow of your old web site. Sure the information is here but it’s just like so many other sites. Same format, articles of this type here and there. I just don’t find the information flow in any cohesive manner or time line.. I like what you are doing but it is now not my favorite web site. I like Colonel Cassad style. Yours was more like that before the change.
Also, I am not a fan of audio blogs and I guess you have been spending some time on that effort. Keep it simple. Don’t try to be Sputnik or the like. Be a little different in at coherent way. Your analysis and insight was the reason I liked your site. Now you have to much stuff diluting your opinions and analysis. Get rid of all the Pravda and RT stuff, you have Russia Insider for that. Keep it personal.
That’s is all I have for now
Sincerely,
Stan K’
Dear Saker,
I miss opening your website, like in the old days, and having YOU talking to US like “Father Saker” right there at the top of the page. Now I have to search for “YOU”, but most of the articles seem not to be you. It was a friendly feeling to have your advice and opinion right there. Now, I feel like I’m entering a long empty hallway of closed doors with signs on them, and you’re not there.
Can you place a section right at the top of the page, maybe so we don’t have to click on it but it’s just THERE, where YOU talk to US, even if briefly, about what’s happening today and how you feel about things, the world, Donbass, and so on?
I do absolutely love the beautiful picture of the Saker bird at the top of the page on this new website though.
Thanks.
I prefer the other blog. I was even though I translated with Google. it’s too complicated.
Nevertheless, thank you dear Saker, thank you very much, you are my oxygen.
ps: I am French, translated sentences
I am now listening to your podcats #6. Looks very good, nice work.
To be honest with you Saker, I think the way you have done your blog Before this “new format” was …..
Truly Unique & Quite Succient.
No one else had anything near your uniqueness.
The simplicity & pathos was………shattering.
Anyway, it’s your choice.
For some ‘strange reason’ I don’t check the blog everyday whereas earlier I checked it out perhaps 2-3 Daily for………get this now……..updates.
The SINGULARITY Matrix doesn’t appeal to me.
Sorry.
Regardless, you’re doing 1 helluva job and your site is truly appreciated.
Best Regards X- in Sweden
Saker’s analysis is what I most enjoy about this blog, and secondly, his podcasts.
I did listen to the PCR interview, and was surprised to hear Roberts’ opinion regarding the absence of influence on US strategies by Masons and other esoteric organizations. I would be interested in Saker’s opinion on this matter, since he chose (rightly, IMO) to be non-confrontational with PCR.
This has got to be a trap! Criticism and self-criticism is not the Saker’s long suit.
Diariamente leio as notícias “the saker”, “the vineyard saker”, “sputnik news”, Marcha Verde”, “Notícia Final”, “Resistir” e outros.

This is kinda away issue even so require some dciirteon from a well established blog. Your site offered all of us valuable details to be effective on. You have done any excellent career! I had been studying a number of your site content on this website and i also consider this site is absolutely informative.
Hello Saker,
When Paul Craig Roberts asks for donations I get sick to my stomach. Seneca (circa 32AD) a Stoic and a Lawyer tells in his biography that in the Roman Empire at that time Roman Law was so sacrosanct that a lawyer was forbidden to charge for his services.
In my opinion the fight we are now attempting to fight against “Them” is way beyond money. Once we enter the realms of receiving money for political (even objective) comments we join the realms of the prostitutes already in politics who inhabit most of the Democratic Style political systems presently destroying the world around us.
