Dear friends,
I just wanted to let you know that I have been reading your replies to my personal announcement with amazement and a deepest sense of gratitude. I shall post a substantive reply to what you have written as soon as I find a minute to do so, but right now the situation in the Ukraine is far more important, so that is why I will focus on in priority. I ask for your understanding and patience, and I promise to reply very soon.
Many thanks and kind regards,
The Saker
Dear Saker,
Whatever you say or do, you’re always swell and good, a great great human being, head to toe, an Orthodox through and through.
Ukraine is paramount, we need your input more than ever… Your blog posts are appearing far and wide in the most amazing websites, a testament to your peceptive analysis, worldly experience and smarts.
Thanks again;
Joe
Dear Saker,
I agree with the others. I am willing to financially contribute to support your work. I can contribute $10/month. I’ll write more later.

There are many of us in the UK who read and enjoy your work, Saker. Keep strong.
Yes, you ought to add a support the blog link on this web page. Thanks for your effort. I truly cannot fathom where you find time for this. I suspect you have 36 hours in a day.

Dear Saker,
I’m eager to contribute!
Your wisdom and smartness are really moving, along with the deep answers and positive interactions.
You’re ennobling thousands of free thinkers and helping the humankind: a very impressive outcome, isn’t it?
Warm Regards and Blessings.

Hi,
I would also be glad to help you with your effort on this site.
Thanks for all your writing,
Martial
What you do is not easy, if it was everybody would be doing it. Besides you have a style and charm that gives your posts a personal touch. The guy who writes Syrian Perspective is also very good. But he is crass and slightly racist(?). So he loses a lot of points. Most of us know you wish to remain as anonymous as possible, but your take on things is very valuable and this voice cannot, should not be silenced. I’m surprised RT or Antiwar.com hasn’t picked you up?
You don’t have to answer this post.
But I know many of this blogs readers or at least a few are people who are connected and can make things happen. So like Quentin’s Tarantino’s character on Pulp Fiction says “if you need to make some calls or talk to some people”…”do it”…!!!

Hi Saker,
I haven’t read all the comments so maybe someone has suggested it already. But I urge you again to put up a donation button. Lots of bloggers do it and it’s a perfectly acceptable way to finance your very crucial work.
It is crowd funding so it’s not like you have to worry about offending sponsors or anything. It’s not like a million dollars will flood in, but even a handful of readers chipping in 5 or 10 dollars every now and again adds up. That may be enough to at least pay for an internet connection and perhaps a new lap top if you end up needing one.
You don’t even have to plead for donations or anything. Just put up a button where people can see it and leave it at that.
I know I suggested this once before and you declined, but I’m hoping you have changed your mind.
Saker,
No need to explain or apologize for not responding “personally” to emails. The point of any message is “encouragement”. Frankly, that’s the best definition (I know of) for “church” and the benefits thereof. This site is a little like “going to church” as it provides knowledge, understanding and encouragement.
To echo others here — and my offer in past missives — would be more than happy to contribute to your “upkeep”. We NEED your clarity and voice in these times.
All the best to you and yours, my friend.
AGS

If you do decide to accept donations, I think you will be surprised at the amount of help we, your readers, would be willing to give.
$10, $20, $100 – it will add up.
We need you here to give clarity on an issue that the mainstream press has utterly failed to grasp.
Several months ago I did a websearch on Saakashvili’s odd “eating habits” and stumbled upon your blog entry:

After that I read a few other posts and that sort of got me hooked as a regular. You have a very refreshing view on things that really holds the interest. Your coverage on the Ukraine has been first rate and very much appreciated.
Thanks for being here and taking the time to provide a lot of people with a lot of information and views that they might not encounter otherwise.
