The last two weeks we’ve watched in awe the Chinese telling the US in Alaska that a more assertive China now is a reality as the empire has left it no choice. Of course the Alaska meeting was spiked with sanctions poison minutes before the meetings started, to present a strongman ‘advantage’ (or so they thought) to empire. This backfired spectacularly and lasted but 15 minutes of a blistering response by China, so perfectly translated by the Chinese translator that she immediately became a new sensation in the eyes of the Chinese people. The Chinese response is continuing and the stance is now permanent. I think it is fair to say that China will take no more empire so-called ‘rules-based’ international order.
We saw Mr.Biden calling President Putin a “killer with no soul”. We saw Russia moving away from empire, in action and in (less than diplomatic) words, with Foreign Minister Lavrov completing a triumphant visit to China directly after the Alaska meeting, and in press conferences making it clear that the petrodollar is now oh so last century news. New economic and financial mechanisms will put it in its place and we already see this. Take a look:
China signed a currency swap agreement with Sri Lanka before $3.7 billion of its foreign debt matures this year. Sri Lanka is entitled to a $1.5 billion swap facility from the PBOC, valid for three years. More than 22% of the nation’s foreign purchases were from China last year. Read full article →.
And then these wild two weeks ended with China and Iran signing a 25-year comprehensive strategic partnership, of course, not using any last century petrodollars.
The US fought back fiercely, with nothing else but rumors and the rest of the west sanctioned everything that they could possibly think of. The rumors and propaganda are about Xinjiang and included the bathwater and the baby, cold war style, threatening hot war style and seemingly quite out of step with developments in the rest of the world. We will look at the market fall-out in some detail.
But why now? Why did both Russia and China stand up and declare that they are here to stay, while we were used to a more muted approach from both?
James W. Carden and Patrick Lawrence considers that it is a deep disappointment with discovering the “retrograde character of the Biden administration’s foreign policies” “We thought too well of the United States” Mr Yang, Foreign Minister of China said. They had hopes for Biden, in other words. Given his fading competence, we ought to add, we think these policies will be shaped and directed in large measure by Blinken and Sullivan, with an adjunct role for Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. This will prove another competence problem.

What has not had much media coverage, is foreign minister Wang Yi’s tour to the Middle East after the Iran agreement announcement. He visited Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Oman, all Belt and Road member countries. To cap off these two weeks of telling empire to become productive, take their rightful place in the world if they can, stop playing warmonger and policeman and economic hitman, the take-away statement from this tour is that Wang repeatedly said global powers should butt out of making the Middle East their arena for big-power rivalry.
(Imagine empire confusion while the penny drops that their empire is over. Anyone hearing someone playing the fiddle or more accurately the lute?)
A short video from Professor Bill Brown at Xiamen University in southeast China’s Fujian province about the changes in China after spending 33 years there.
The empire struck back with an all-out attack against the province of Xinjiang. The Xinjiang cotton industry was attacked with baseless rumors and propaganda about the Uyghur people and the propaganda and sanctions machines went into overdrive and we saw sanctions everywhere, mainly against anyone buying cotton from the region. It is quite ludicrous to pretend to care for the Uyghurs if your sanctions are designed to deprive them of their major industry and their income, which is from cotton. As fast as the western sanctions were announced, they were responded to with reciprocal sanctions. Mr.Lavrov already mentioned that there will be a concerted effort throughout the world to do away with unilateral sanctions, so, it is almost as if they do not matter, as no country in the world can or should spare the resources to manage all the sanctions.
But China is striking back hard. In addition, the cotton manufacturers out of Xinjiang are bringing legal action against Adrian Zenz, who stitched together the rumors of forced labor, labor camps, forced sterilization, and many others. If you do not want to watch this video, just take a scroll through the comments though.
The Chinese people got angry and a major market kerfuffle commenced and is still ongoing. For Australia with their thoughtless comments against China, their trade (excluding iron ore) has dropped by 40%.
H&M’s agony, Nike’s fear, the market strikes back. H&M craters after saying it would not source cotton from Xinjiang. All e-commerce platforms removed it from their websites. Searches for ‘H&M’ and ‘HM’ yielded no results, celebrities cut ties, and 200 million Weibo users boycotted H&M’s 450 stores. Nike and Adidas are under attack for using the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), which stopped licensing farms in Xinjiang. https://www.scmp.com/news/china/politics/article/3126828/hm-under-fire-china-over-refusal-buy-xinjiang-cotton
A-list Uyghur stars Dilraba Dilmurat (Dílì Rèbā), an actress with a huge Han fan base, and Liú Yìfēi, who starred in Mulan, ended their business relationships with Adidas. Nike, Calvin Klein, and Converse have lost their Chinese brand ambassadors. https://supchina.com/2021/03/24/hm-faces-boycott-in-china-over-year-old-xinjiang-cotton-ban/
Japanese fashion retailer Muji, with 17% of its total sales from China, said its stores in China will continue carrying products made with Xinjiang cotton. The company has conducted due diligence on all companies in Xinjiang involved in its supply chain. https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Retail/Muji-features-Xinjiang-cotton-as-Chinese-netizens-lash-its-rivals
“H&M, Nike, and others are now suffering heavy losses to their reputations in the Chinese market. Enormous investment in public relations has been destroyed instantly. They need to complain to Western society, because they know that, whether they are active or passive, they have indeed done something intolerable to Chinese consumers”. – Hu Xijin, editor-in-chief of the Global Times. https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202103/1219413.shtml
Why this focus on the Chinese province Xinjian? Is it really caring deeply about the Uyghurs? Of course not. This is not how empire conducts its business.
“The investments and the infrastructure development under the BRI will bring an explosion of growth in Xinjiang. It will not just become a wealthy region, it will become ‘Dubai wealthy,’ said engineer Robert Vannrox, “the West does not want this. The more Chinese investment pours into Xinjiang, the louder the anti-China propaganda becomes.”

As Halford Mackinder stated in 1904, he who controls Euro-Asia will have the prime political end economic influence in the world. This means Russia and China will become the chief factors in the world. All others will have no choice but to join them.
Bare in mind that all nations have an open invitation to join the AIIB bank and to get its infrastructure projects linked along the New Silk Road, the Maritime Silk Road, the Belts and Roads Initiatives.
No one is excluded.
Just leave your hegemony and ideology at the door.
Recall, several years ago China offered over and over to build high speed rail in the US.
And, in fact, took over the construction project of the Oakland Bay Bridge after 10 futile years of US not getting it done.
“Recall, several years ago China offered over and over to build high speed rail in the US.”
Very interesting Larch445. Did not know that. I’ll have to do some research.
Matthew Ehret touches on a planned railroad through Canada and Alaska that was blocked by the usual suspects, in his recent ‘Strategic Hour’

The past few weeks have seen an increase in anti-foreigner sentiment in China, mostly in the form of insults and verbal abuse.. It is no Boxer rebellion, but a general statement that many Chinese have had enough of the disrespect shown them and their leadership.. The slurs, lies and accusations made against Chinese culture are beyond ludicrous, and this backlash was inevitable, but a shame to see..
The Chinese are now pushing back, big time!! Canadian officials are also getting a good dose of truth telling flung in their faces. Li Yang, China’s Consul General to Rio de Janeiro is blaming Canada’s Prime Minister for the Diplomatic crisis, calling him a ‘boy’..ouch
“Boy, your greatest achievement is to have ruined the friendly relations between China and Canada and have turned Canada into a running dog of the US. Spendthrift !!!”

Trudeau is nauseating. His father must be rolling over in his grave. Another sickeningly woke Western ‘leader’.
“His father must be rolling over in his grave.” Amen to that brother. At least Pierre was willing to use empire as best he could. He was friends with the commander and that meant a lot to me.
And Justin couldn’t be bothered to go to the funeral.
He is just a plaything of Christia Freland. (Not sure if I spelled her name right).
As far as I’m concerned, Freland, Samantha Powers, Victoria Nuland, and Hillary Clinton are the four horseman of the acopalypse—
When I saw Justin giving a Nazi salute to the Azov battalion in 2014—it caused a major rift in my family.
What Justin did in giving in to the empire —-it’s terrible! To me he seems a coward.
Brother Blue Iconoclast
yes, I too feel that in Canada we are in the hands of nazi, but Freeland is the mind, Trudeau is a only a joker…
John Deere sold hundreds of cotton harvesting machines in Xinjiang. The American embassy certainly knows very well what is going on in Xinjiang.
Zhao Lijian nails it, and it’s just not about this repugnant fraudster Adrian Zenz — Zhao Lijian’s words apply in full to thousands of Western so-called ”academics” even when constraining the time span to the last 100 years only:
Well, now with the boldened resolve of the Axis of Resistance, the time for these congenital liars is running out. Even if they may still abound in Europe and North America as imperialism’s awful ”legacy intellectual” garbage, making a living out of it will not be possible against the backdrop of further Western setbacks and defeats. Interesting — and most promising — times ahead!
Prof. Brown’s book, ‘When China Rules the World’, published in 2018 and available on Amazon does not have a single review but Gordon Chang’s neocon claptrap, promoted as ‘expertise’ is all the rage on the networks and his book, ‘The Coming Economic Collapse of China’ published in 2001 is rated 4 stars.
We in the U.S. do not want truth, we want our feelings of superiority reinforced. Even Bill Maher’s fairly benign criticism made many fly into a rage. Maher didn’t even get any points for attacking cancel culture. Ah … the stench of failure begins when people are so childish that they cannot accept any ideas that challenge their version of reality.
America’s problems have nothing to do with Russia or China. Could not care less what development or not Russia and China are making. (Although it would be nice if they made some breakthroughs that would actually benefit humanity (more chance of that from Russia), as the West has done for centuries.
If China and Russia disappeared tomorrow, America would still be in a mess. Our leaders are a bunch of selfish, greedy oligarchs, half of whom seem to have adopted the insane ‘woke’ ideology. America does not need an empire, it doesn’t even need the rest of the World. Whether America is successful again or continues to degenerate, depends on its people and nothing else.
If left to it’s own devices the US would soon become the hell that was Wild Wild West of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century including genocides of native peoples, syphilis ridden population and backward economy. The two world wars and the consequent destruction of the rest of the known world pulled that area from its backwardness.
What we are seeing now is the world realigning itself to its normal state. The East had always been more advanced. It is only when the West perfected pirating technology at sea and raiding excursions on land that the balance started to shift. Just ask Eastern Roman Empire whose ex colonies such as Veneto used the riches brought from Byzantine to organise “holy” crusades against it or Empire of China being forced to sell heroin to it population by the English and its own corrupted elites.
East, apart from backward Saudi Arabia, offers no more resources on the cheap. If one wants to continue to plunder, one better be ready to bleed.
“What we are seeing now is the world realigning itself to its normal state. ”
Great observation. For a country like the US to have had a global unipolar moment, as they did, was always an aberration of nature.
Everybody gets their 15 minutes of fame. -(Andy Warhol)
Now that the U.S.A. had its 15 minutes, next……..
One has to be honest enough to acknowledge the massive improvements In culture, religion, technology, medicine, law, on and on, that Christian Europe produced—far beyond what the East could even contemplate—but Christendom has lost its Faith and its soul, so it will now have to reap what it has sowed under the power of the Cabal and Empire. God help us all.
oh, agree, America does not need an empire.
But disagree that ”America does nt need the rest of the world”…
For a myriad of reasons.
Because in order “to be successful again” the very first move MUST be a boring isolationism and an even fiercer policy of 19 century s protectionism.
And do you imagine what the others (we, the rest…) would have done long before that happens?
The Russian/Chinese century is really starting to blossom now. Almost a shame that sclerotic Uncle Schmuel is too senile to appreciate it and likely won’t be around long enough to see it come to full fruition. Alas, he won’t be missed when he’s gone and absolutely no one will bother eulogizing the old coot. In the end, he was just another mean-spirited old bastard who overstayed his welcome pissed everyone off needlessly.
Yes it’s blossoming, and all over the world we bow to their ancient civilization and adore the fruits of their labours, now, where’s my Nike T shirt, it’s sunny today in lockdown UK..
As Andrei Martyanov points out the US is run by lawyers and liberal arts majors – people that are not trained or competent. China leads with STEM graduates but even Russia with its smaller population matches the number of STEM graduates in the US and are better trained. The US certainly has the ‘advantage’ in diversity (so what?).
The US will regret pushing China to react to threats. The US has no chance to defeat, neutralize, or exhaust China – it is the US that will defeat itself. China doesn’t have to win a war – it will economically exhaust a US that would rather decline that cooperate to the benefit of all.
As a STEM professional I totally agree. Even minority owned companies still need us non-minorities to do the real work!
however, our current education system has been so dumbed down we in the USA are no longer producing the best engineers and scientists!
But, why does that even matter, right?? What’s important is that we are “woke”!
As someone with degrees in Liberal Arts, I disagree. Nazi Germany, for example, had plenty of STEM types going along for the ride. So much so, that American rocket program, among other areas, were greatly helped by technologies acquired from Germany after the war. Does anyone really think the Deep Staters and big players of both parties really believe in the woke crap. It is all just a smokescreen to confuse the masses and play out their intra-squad squabbles as with NYS Governor Cuomo.Meanwhile people of color continue to suffer violence at the hands of the police, immigrants continue to be put in cages and gun deaths along with the opioid scourge continues unabated in middle (read White) America.
In part because of the strong Liberal Arts education I received, I developed strong critical thinking skills and learned real history . Not the great man baloney I learned in High School. Granted Liberal Arts education has been greatly perverted in the culture wars (particularly surrounding post modernism) that has been ongoing for several decades now even before the crowning moment of the woke/cancel culture now dominant. But, the problem is not so much leadership educated in the Liberal Arts, it’s that these people are simply corrupt when they are not morally deranged. I like Martynov but he is under-estimating the cunning and intelligence of these people. It’s not simply lack of knowledge or training that is the problem here. They understand full well what they are doing but, as Chomsky put it, it is hegemony or survival. It is the Western oligarchs uber alles come hell or high water. Smart people, after all, can be evil. And often, like Obama, a highly intelligent individual, can be the more effective evil because of it.
I was interested in your comment until I saw the reference to Obama as an intelligent person. Obama and intelligence don’t go together.
Besides, cunning people may be able to control things for a certain time, but eventually they get screwed by the real geniuses. That’s what’s happening with the US and China right now.
‘I was interested in your comment until I saw the reference to Obama as an intelligent person. Obama and intelligence don’t go together.’
And same here, after your first sentence.
”The investments and the infrastructure development under the BRI will bring an explosion of growth in Xinjiang. It will not just become a wealthy region, it will become ‘Dubai wealthy,’ said engineer Robert Vannrox, the West does not want this. The more Chinese investment pours into Xinjiang, the louder the anti-China propaganda becomes.”
Which proves that Xinjiang is akin to Chechnya in the RF: Able leaderships keep Islamofascism and its foreign sponsors at bay. Imagine spending huge sums of money on ”moderate rebels” only to see them incapacitated by rapid societal progress; all this to the deepest chagrin of Adrian NonZenz and the rest of the West’s ”intelligentsia”.
Amarynth asked: Why this focus on the province of Xinjiang? For me the answer is obvious because it is consistent with what the wicked empire has been doing since early 90’s. It is to stir chaos and animosity in what the empire considers a prime candidate spot. There are 0ver 12 million Uyghurs who can be stirred as cannon fodders, and doing so seems to incur no cost to itself. The wicked empire wants Chinese to kill Chinese, such as in Xinjiang, Tibet, Taiwan, Hong Kong. China has been restrained in Tibet, in Taiwan, and in Hong Kong. So now they’ll give Xinjiang a trial. They have nurtured Uyghur traitor expats since the late 80’s as they did Tibetans in India. They have trained Uyghur terrorists to kill in Xinjiang as well as in the Middle East. Now seems like a good time to put this pawn to use.
Actually, the wicked empire has been stirring Indians to fight Chinese, Philippinos to fight Chinese, Vietnamese to fight Chinese, Myanmarese to fight Chinese, Japanese to fight Chinese, etc. etc. They are forever looking for cracks in the geopolitical shell and stir up animosity of naive people against Chinese. Their focus has always been to simply kill Chinese. Xinjiang is just their nascent pawn on the chessboard.
Why Xinjiang? For me the answer is obvious. Xinjiang is so rich in resources including agricultural resources that once developed with China’s high tech, it will eclipse the agricultural sector of the US mid-west including Texas.
This is considered an existential danger to the USA.
Look at the amount and quality of the cotton Xinjiang produces – it is outpacing the entire world. The USA will try to stop Xinjiang if it could!
“For Australia with their thoughtless comments against China, their trade (excluding iron ore) has dropped by 40%.” — Indeed, and it a surprise to no one that the problems are in the weasle-world of Canberra satraps and subaltern butt-kissing (London and Washington DC).
Here is a story in the local news rags which sets out just how much the taxpay-funded career public servants (repeart, servants) add value to the process. Negative interest rates!
It just goes to show what some genuine people-to-people contact can achieve without all the USA (and their “Airstrip One”) BS pissing in the win-win soup.
http://www.smh.com.au/national/secret-meeting-with-official-turns-china-meat-contract-from-no-to-go-20210330-p57f6d.html
“…the problems are in the weasle-world of Canberra satraps and subaltern butt-kissing…”
It appears that the spineless Australian political class have completely decoupled their policy stance from the interests of the Australian public and fully aligned with Team America in the drive to demonize China.
The common folk want good relations with the ascending trading empire that is China, the politicians have other ideas entirely.
You got it 100%
“The common folk want good relations with the ascending trading empire that is China, the politicians have other ideas entirely” — in the main, yes.
However, many are rusted on racists and bigots and any msm media story that ventures a comments section are simply spammed with anti-China noise. The local AI auto-speil is pretty 101. Can’t even get 5G into the infrastructure in case Washington can’t see everthing going on. And all major mineral royalties to government (at least in the western side) are in the $USD. Saudi Arabia is not the only captured ‘sovereign’ on the fiat drip. One leading iron ore exporter managed a deal in Chinese Yuan but he’s a leading local and probably has 24×7 body guards and a selection of safe places.
The common folk want really want )or soon will) are shop shelves with good on them rather than expanding emplty space as inventories are exhausted. In some areas it is starting to resemble the classic USSR images of all shop, no stocks.
The ABC along with the corporate media report like we’re at war on behalf of the USA right now. The ABC is just endless articles about how covid will steal your children’s soul.
Australian ABC? … just a cutting off the London regime’s BBC colonial mothership (the British Bullsh_t Company/commission) that sprukes itself as: “The BBC is the world’s leading public service broadcaster. We’re impartial and independent, and every day we create distinctive, world-class programmes and…”. Yeh, right. Just don’t mention Julian Assange, or Jerremy Corbin, or the zionopshere … unless it’s David Attenborough and cuddly animal shows it is essentially government propaganda and presstitues all.
Big Noses. The cover picture and accompanying Link (New discoveries at Sanxingdui Ruins shed light on Chinese civilization) depicts an interesting anatomical feature from Chinese art of 3,000 years ago. The picture is of two sculptured heads or face masks; both have a large, thin, angular, blade-like nose. This reminds me that “Big Nose” was popular Chinese slang for North West European traders and colonists in more recent centuries (the time of the Dutch and British East India companies). Conversely, English comedian George Formby invented Mr. Wu the Chinese Laundry man whose nose was flat and getting flatter.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xufh6Glisk
Of course, in cold climates such as Northern Europe or Himalayan China, it was extremely important for the original human inhabitants to evolve some sort of nasal adaptation to protect their sinuses by restricting the flow of cold air onto sensitive membranes. One such adaptation was the narrow, pinched noses of Scandinavians and neighbouring Germanic tribes. The other adaptation was a flat nose (plus a protective layer of subcutaneous fat in the eyelids).
Can anyone shed light on the origin and purpose of those artefacts? For instance, do they depict NW European traders of the ancient Silk Road? Or do they represent some aboriginal East Eurasian group with thin, pinched coldweather noses? (For instance, in Ghandara (Afghanistan) about 2,000 years ago some artist carved the head of a Buddha with just such a blade-like cold-climate (Himalaya?) nose as depicted in the present cover picture. I think the answer might reveal something about inter-human relations in the undoubtedly multi-polar ancient world.
Very good post and observations. Behind the beauty, the adornment, the flourishing of ancient wisdom and high culture was the sharp mind of evil, not in the people of China, but the power behind the manifestation. Now it is resurgent, draped with Satan’s long, strong and accentuated chin who belongs to the West.
Now they work together, it is an unbelievable, powerful global influence.
One sees this everywhere, also in the link to Bill Brown, the lure of wealth, good living prospects, good manners, naïve openness and the highly clever, enthusiastic mind’s .of the Chinese people.
It is rather ludicrous for countries that massacred Muslims in (at least) Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Somalia, to pretend that they care about Uighurs in Xinjiang.
I want to suggest to China to ban US agricultural products (soya bean, wheat, beef, pork etc) since they are grown on lands stolen from the Amerindians and developed through the slave labour of the Blacks.
Indeed they are genocidal “blood” products since the original owners of the land, the Amerindians were massacred, some wiped out and the survivors put shamefully into small reservations.
That would make some kind of sense, but I hope the Chinese will not “play with US rules” and instead act asymmetrically in their own way. The market backlash as reported in this article is one good way to do this, the people itself reacted, no ban required.
As Pepe averred, it’s a hybrid war to the finished. In war as in love, there are no ‘rules’ according to an Anglo-Saxon saying (“all’s fair in love and war”).
Why should China privilege the rich US farmers? China should now privilege those downtrodden by the Hegemon – Brazil and South American countries, African countries, Central Asian countries, etc, all across the global south.
I wonder if the U.S. has a deep seated fear that the BRI will allow Africa and even the well watered parts of Russia to displace U.S. agriculture. The more we howl about debt traps blocking economic development, the more I believe we are trying to do this.
There was an article on Statecraft quoting Sen. Kinsinger howling that the U.S. has to stay in Afghanistan to keep their mineral wealth away from China. I don’t think he realizes how evil that is. The mineral wealth of Afghanistan is for them to develop as they see fit; it is not for the U.S. to manage. Creating problems in Xinjiang blocks China from Afghanistan.
Simon et al,
It’s mostly European clothing brands that started this spat. Hugo Boss, H&M Burberry etc.
China has a great excuse to sanction all of them under the pretext that European textile industry used forced labour during WWII. For Hugo Boss it verifiably true: He was the Nazi party designer of SS and SA uniforms which were made by forced labour in the concentration camps
https://www.dw.com/en/german-fashion-label-hugo-boss-goes-public-with-nazi-past/a-15414490.
Just smear them all back. Gloves are off.
Also North Korea. The hegemon wants North Korea. North Korea has as much rare earths as China itself. Also Afghanistan – rare earth, oil, etc, the lot.
Take away and replace the system of finance and money, created and controlled by the west and centered in Basil, Switzerland and the west is totally screwed. It can’t happen soon enough.
I’ve just caught up with all the reasonable western bloggers that live and work in China. There is real anger there from the people. The idea is that nobody that benefits from China and her markets can be even allowed to spread these rumors to attempt to break up an industry that many people depend on.
Here is the latest from H&M (the others make similar statements) – https://www.scmp.com/news/china/diplomacy/article/3127767/hit-xinjiang-cotton-backlash-hm-aims-regain-trust-china
It’s just almost meaningless babble really.
The US establishment is in deep denial about China. I have noticed that Gordan Chang’s is promoted as an expert, even though we have been waiting 20 years for the Chinese collapse. A lot of money to be made in US by telling US Establishment what they want to hear rather than the truth. White Liberals are anti-Asian bigots, unable to take the Chinese seriously.
B-29 firebomb raids, 2 Atomic bombing of Japanese cities, firebombing of North Korean cities, Johnson’s werewolf policy murdering millions in SE Asia, the incarceration of the Americans of Japanese descent in concentration camps in WW2, the “liberals” have been thoroughly racist. Of course a “good liberal” prides herself on not being racist, so it is pushed into their subconscious , so their confirmation bias makes it impossible to think straight about Asia.
Western Chauvinists just can not believe that a non-Western country is succeeding.
“It will not just become a wealthy region, it will become ‘Dubai wealthy”, said Robert Vannrox. Vannrox hit the nail on the head.
Xinjiang has even more resources to become even richer than “Dubai wealthy”. Its oil and gas resources are greater than Dubai’s for a start and not even yet fully exploited or explored. Its land and freshwater resources, especially the water catchment areas of the high mountains exceeded Dubai by far.
In the process of becoming “Dubai wealthy”, Xinjiang will become the locomotive to drive the modernization and economic development of central Asia all the way to Turkey and including Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The whole of central Asia, western and south-western Asia and Pakistan will boom for at least 25 years. In the process of this happening, the US’ midwest will be eclipsed, led by Xinjiang.
