Update: It has since been confirmed that Russia is switching its whole system to UnionPay. UnionPay, an international payment system founded in 2002, received international status in 2005. Headquartered in Shanghai, the company reportedly operates in more than 180 countries across the globe, including Switzerland, Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Cyprus, Thailand, India, Israel, Portugal, Croatia, Poland, Serbia, Hungary and Austria.

▪️ Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Bennett, who arrived in Moscow and was asked by Zelensky to mediate, discussed Ukraine in the Kremlin, followed by Bennett calling Zelensky and flying to talks with Scholz.
(The aftereffect of this one is that this ‘mediation attempt’ not only failed but may have influenced Russia/Israel relations negatively).
Putin: Russian companies will have the right to pay debts to creditors from countries that commit ‘unfriendly actions’ in rubles.
Effectively Russia is calling a force majeure and defaulting on debts (Dollar and EU denominated) to unfriendly countries. Remember some time ago Maria Zakharova said that they are compiling such a list of unfriendly countries. This according to my knowledge is a legitimate use of force majeure and of course, anyone that wants their debts paid, can have rubles.

Ollie Vargas reports from Bolivia: Bolivia was exporting fertilizer (urea) for $300 per tonne until last week. International price is now $900 per tonne since sanctions on Russia started and Russia stopped loading fertilizer for export. Bolivia built its own nationalized fertilizer factory. Brazil closed theirs after the neoliberal turn. Now, the price of urea and ammonium is going through the roof due to Ukraine conflict. Those who import it will be hit with severe inflation on foodstuffs. (Yes, we know that some methods of food production and farming do not use fertilizer).
Putin to Erdogan just a little while ago:
Kiev must cease fighting and fulfill all of Moscow’s demands in order for the Russian invasion of Ukraine to stop, President Vladimir Putin told Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday.
Moscow’s ‘special operation’ in the neighboring country “will come to a halt only if Kiev stops its military action and fulfills the demands of Russia, which are well known,” Putin explained during the phone call, according to the Kremlin’s press service.
The president assured Erdogan that Russia is ready for dialogue with the Ukrainian side, as well as with foreign partners, in order to find a peaceful solution to the conflict.
However, he warned that any attempts to drag out the negotiations, which could be used by Ukraine to regroup its forces and assets, will be “self-defeating.”
I found this in one of the Telegram channels and even translated, it tells the story. So, we will end with this.

The situation is especially difficult in Kharkiv, where the local resistance is led by the most “select Nazis,” the expert noted in a conversation with FAN.
“In Kharkiv, former Ukrainian Interior Minister Avakov on the spot coordinates the actions of the National Guard, including Azov (banned in the Russian Federation). Selected units of the SDF are deployed there. It is difficult to predict when the Russian troops will manage to liberate the city,” says the military expert. There is too much evidence of the bad situation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation: distribution of weapons to civilians, release of maniacs and criminals from prisons, inviting terrorists from Europe. Among those defending Mariupol are fighters from Croatia. There are representatives of American PMCs in the ranks of the tehro-defence forces. Fighters from the Kosovo Liberation Army have expressed a desire to come to Ukraine.
Ukraine’s split along the line of attitude toward the “Russian world” reached its apogee. “Many years of pumping the country with weapons from the West and encouraging anti-Russian sentiments among Ukrainians have borne fruit, and the Russian military operation is designed to remove this “tumor. Today, all Ukrainians are faced with a choice – either take up arms and renounce their kinship with the Russians, or stay at home or go abroad, but retain their humanity,” Kotenok expressed his opinion.
Some in Russia are frightened by the very fact of negotiations with the Ukrainian leadership, talking about “Minsk-3,” that “the liberation of Ukraine is about to be leaked.”
“In my opinion, there will be no stopping the special operation, because the fight in this case is not even for Ukraine, it is for the fate of Russia. In its course we must give the answer to the question – can we stand as a single community, as a Russian civilization? It is ridiculous to talk about bargaining with a nationalist regime. Our task is to force it to capitulate on Russia’s terms. We must persistently advance deep into Ukrainian territory, liberate new spaces, and demonstrate unwavering peacefulness to the locals. Much also depends on how quickly we can defeat selective units of radicals at the front, and force the top leadership of Ukraine to capitulate,” the military expert stressed.
We should not expect that the Russian army will easily, at a gallop through the territory of Ukraine, liberate it, and immediately there will be a happy life, he pointed out.
“A military operation, especially such a complex one, is not a quick process. No sane expert will tell you exactly how long it will last. All talk about “blitzkrieg” and “little victorious war” is for lovers of “kitchen battles” and fortune-tellers. Russia is holding back a heavy information attack of the West and we have to go to the end to our aim, – Yury Kotenok says. – These days Russian militaries are clearly fulfilling their task and are moving forward. Yes, there are losses in manpower and equipment, but they are far from as great as Ukrainian propaganda is trying to show. Yes, our troops are hampered by disgusting weather, stretched communications and the obstacles put by the enemy in the form of undermining bridges, roads, etc. But this will not affect the final outcome of the military operation. Ukraine must be liberated from the Nazis and wrested from the clutches of the West,” the military expert summarized.

I am sad for the ostracism you have encountered.
I can truly empathize. We live and navigate as best we can in a vicious sea of lies. Many in the west have already been ostracized for the sin of not embracing the medical/state fascism imposed upon us in the past two years and now for the sin of not hating on Russia.
There is a deep cynicism among many who have resisted this fascism because they think that Russia and China are in on it. They think that President Putin is aligned with WEF/WHO agenda to de-populate and enslave humanity for the benefit of an elite class. This prevents them from having empathy for what is occurring in Ukraine. They see the Ukraine situation in a sense as phase two of a so called great reset.
Cynicism stems from feeling powerless, it is a defence mechanism. I have resisted this view because it leaves me feeling fatalistic. I wonder if it is not yet another CIA psychological operation to kill hope? I think this needs to be addressed. It is crucial imo. People need to know the truth just as they needed to know the truth after 9/11 because without that truth we are left without navigational coordinates – to be tossed about and manipulated in that choppy sea of lies.

It’s quite clever, although unscrupulous. I notice that the topics of propaganda are orthogonal (right-angled). A few people see through the Covid propaganda – but most of those fall for the Russia-is-evil propaganda. During the truckers’ strike in Canada, it came to light that a lot of the world’s leaders, including Trudeau and Freeland, had some connection with the WEF, and I heard there was a video of Kalus Schwab (actually “Klaus” but I’ll let the typo stand) bragging that even Putin had participated in some WEF program. I have no idea if such is true, but it is clear he tis not on board now with the WEF. Didn’t he tell them a few choice things a couple years ago?
We gotta give the Davos crowd credit for a really brilliant psy-op move there. We also need to attempt to inform people of how Putin is not on board with the WEF. Right now it’s total hysteria, too soon for people to come to grips with what is going on, and I think a few clever trolls also infiltrated health freedom blogs. The one I saw last week on John Michael Greer’s forums claiming to be a war victim disappeared this week just as suddenly as he/she appeared, telling us Ukraine had laws against Nazism and the Azov battalion were good guys. From the looks of things there this week, no one fell for it. In other forums, there may be more resistance, but you have to try to tell them some verifiable facts and give them time to see that Russia is one helluva sight more effective at countering fascists than the truckers, however brave, have any hope of being.
Putin had a profile up on the WEForum website before February, 2022. By the time I checked during the war week, the search results on google were still there for it but the website returned an unknown page. Every other leader, including Gabby and Justine Castro, was still up.
That led me to believe something had happened, that was unexpected, such as Putin stabbing Schwab in the back. It would make sense that he was once part of the WEF movement, but Putin keeps talking about how the West lied to him. Perhaps he thought Russia would have a seat at the party, and perhaps Schwab thought Putin was going to sell out the RUssian people just like many Western leaders already had. Both parties ended up misunderestimating each other. Putin handed Donald a ball and said the ball was in his court now. A nice way to pass some solid state drive info along. Now that he sees Donald as being unseated, Putin wasn’t going to wait any more. Now the ball is in Putin’s court.

I think lots of people relate to that, though lots of people also don’t want to see.
I believe that revolution from an empire of lies and its submitting the people to its control, in order to hoard power, is a gradual process. Expecting radical change can be disappointing and yet we need to be radical in our commitment to truth.
Not in a dogmatic way though. Listening and questioning .
Truth shines and shows, as we face and drop our prejudices and just pay attention. The fake is obvious for the one who is willing to see and is attentive.
Yet there are layers or levels. Like those Russian dolls. Hope, for me, is not about expecting an improvement, but about observing a true courageous act. In that regard, Poutine gave me hope, as one of those who make difficult choices that involve other people’s lives. I believe his heart hasn’t been amputated.
There is a statement I heard, I hope is not true:
« the end of hope = the beginning of truth ».
Back to influencing by being true, I believe also in consistency instead of abrupt chock therapy. We all tend to reject info that is challenging our world view, our ego structure, our sense of security.
That said, abrupt events, controlled or not, like wars or « black swans » are in the order of things. When we let things go worse by neglect, convenience, weakness or fear, then it obviously gets worse before it gets better.
Ultimately the paradox is that it is both getting worse and better at the same time. It is both beautiful and hideous. Maybe a lost cause and a victorious effect?

I have been following Clif for years as well. He wasn’t actually bashing China, just the CCP and one particular tribe, the Hans. Mariupol, today, is getting the squeeze. Video reports show rockets being fired from windows of apartments. Hopefully, the US puts grows a brain and deals with NATO expansion. Rest of the world sees the support from NATO to Pravij Sektor and Azov types. There is a possible response to the shutdown of money transfers. I propose an offset clearinghouse. Here is how it works.
Mr. A in Russia wants to sent money to Mr. B outside Russia. At the same time, Mr. C from outside Russia, wants to send money to Mr. D inside Russia. If Mr. A sends rubles to Mr. D, and Mr. C sent dollars or Euros to Mr. B, then no money needs to cross any border. Of course the sums will not work out exactly, but with software and with enough customers, a clearinghouse can make the sums work. Such an offset mechanism can’t provide any net flow across the borders, but it could certainly be useful on a small or medium-size scale.
I’m not a lawyer and I don’t know if this is legal, but it would be very simple to set up because it’s only an exchange of information, of peoples’ wants. More difficult, but not too hard, would be a verification mechanism to prevent scams and cheating, so each of the 4 parties (Mr. A, B, C and D) would not have to waste time with their own amateur verification. The reason why the average US Jew supports Ukraine is because they’ve been brainwashed by MSM. Kharkov and Mariupol are the “pattern of resistance” Ukronazis are aiming to create against Russia’s cleansing operation. The intention is to bog down the Russian army in a quagmire à la CCCP in Afghanistan. Those cities will be small versions of Stalingrad in terms of urban combat. It will be a learning experience for the Russian army, the learning curve made even more pronounced by the political objectives, protection of civilians, minimizing infrastructure damage, avoid providing more ammunition to the West’s factory of lies.
In the meantime, they are developing their plans for a war of attrition whose operational center will be in western Ukraine, with all the West alphabet soup intel making their contribution to the campaign, Target: Russia. I fully agree with Kotenok that,

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched artillery strikes on both army positions and traditionally civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in all three directions:

Let me remind you that Voha began his military career at the age of 20, taking part in the heroic defense of his hometown of Slavyansk back in 2014. He immediately showed himself as a brave fighter, and soon as a competent commander, as a result of which, after the death of the legendary Motorola, he headed Sparta. Starting with the defense of Slavyansk throughout the war, Voha had several injuries, but did not stop personally participating in the fighting. He has many military awards, and yesterday, by decree of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Vladimir Zhoge was awarded the title Hero of the Republic posthumously.
The line of combat contact in the Horlivka and Donetsk directions has not changed. The enemy is firmly entrenched in these areas of the front and is actively snapping back, using large-caliber artillery. The movement of the DPR Armed Forces takes place only in the Mariupol direction. The clearing of Volnovakha from Ukrainian militants is proceeding slowly but surely. There are fierce street battles.
The complexity of the situation is due to the fact that in this locality the main core of the enemy’s defense is the Nazi battalion “Donbass”, which distinguished itself by its atrocities against the civilian population of Donbass back in 2014. The Nazis understand that no one will stand on ceremony with them and at best they will be brought to justice for their war crimes, they stand firm. At the same time, they do not allow other small units of the Ukrainian security forces to lay down their weapons, threatening to shoot them.
The DPR Armed Forces continue to advance west and northwest of Volnovakha.
After taking control of Pologi and other settlements in the area, the chances of breaking out of Mariupol for Ukrainian units are negligible. In Mariupol, there are also difficulties, as well as with Volnovakha. The fighters of the Nazi battalion “Azov”, who form the core of the enemy’s defense, realizing responsibility for their war crimes, mainly related to atrocities against civilians, just like the battalion “Donbass”, stand firmly, while hiding behind the civilians of the city. One thing which I find very worrying and puzzling is this business of the supplying of weapons and mercenaries to Ukraine via Poland.

Given Russia’s full air superiority and – one imagines – full situational awareness of all that is moving in Ukraine, and given the extreme importance of this activity of weapons and mercenaries being funnelled into Ukraine, in terms of protracting the war, I imagine they would be intercepting these convoys of weapons and mercenaries as soon they enter the country.
Yet I can find no reports of any such interceptions taking place, only endless reports of “more weapons being sent to Ukraine”.
The maps also suggest little or no Russian military activity in the western half of Ukraine ie next to Poland.
Perhaps yourself or the Saker or someone with knowledge about this could provide a short write up on the facts concerning the inflow of weapons from NATO because if, as we also read. the Ukies plan to continue resisting from west Ukraine with an open border to Poland, the weapon supply will go on indefinitely and the war never end.
So what is the situation regarding the weapons and mercenary supply coming into Ukraine?

However you’re a little off base on the “full situational awareness” bit. You see these weapons are being shipped from Poland in secret trucks disguised as civilian vehicles. It is impossible for Russia to take the risk of blowing up civilian trucks just because they suspect it may have weapons. This is the same playbook the U.S. used in Syria where they brought in weapons inside Red Cross trucks. One of the convoys ended up being hit at one point (maybe accidentally) and there were many photos of weapons inside what was supposed to be medical supplies.
I’ve seen one of the photos a couple days ago of one of the javelin weapon shipments, it was a photo of the back of the truck that arrived in Ukraine. At the edge of the photo you can just barely make out the truck door and can see it is a normal white truck like the ones driving all over Ukraine (i.e. not military vehicle). This proved that they are using civilian trucks to do this.
Now you can argue, should Russia be using high tech real time geostationary satellites to track the weapon delivery in Poland and then see exactly where the hand off is being done and which trucks are used and then track and destroy those trucks. This may or may not be possible. There are a variety of typical con artist tricks you can use to disguise this as the “hand off” is done in airport hangers and airports that have many other types of activity in them, other civilian delivery trucks going in and out constantly. So when the truck with the weapons exits the airport hangar/parking garage etc., you may have no idea which one is the civilian and which the weapons cache. So it’s not as simple as you think without actual advance intelligence from spies on the ground of some sort.
As for western Ukraine, yes there’s little activity other than air strikes which do happen frequently, and many of those ARE hitting the weapon transit points as in the article I just sent you above. But there is not much other activity yet because there is no need for it since the vast majority of Ukrainian troops are in the east trying to hold off the Russian offensive, so there is nothing but small garrisons in the West and not a ‘target rich environment’ apart from the warehouses which Russia IS hitting daily. If you are following any OSINT accounts you can see every night there is “air raid sirens” going off in many of the western Ukrainian cities like Lyvov, Odessa and surrounding regions.
Given the rumors that russia is about to switch back to Gold Standard, it isnt that bad paying stuff in Rubles.

as to #2: Russia is happy to wait and take its time with Mariupol. Even Strelkov in his latest analysis says that his own military decision would be to ABSOLUTELY NOT try to capture Mariupol right now but instead continue its encirclement and wait it out. Russia loses nothing by letting Mariupol sit and the Nazis slowly spend their remaining ammunition with no ability to resupply. Take your time and evacuate civilians little by little while Russia continues to gain large territory elsewhere. This is no problem at all.
#3: U.S. is partly terrified to admit if/when Zelensky flees abroad because 1. when Yanukovich fled Ukraine in 2014, it was used as the raison d’etre for official declaration by the west that he was no longer the “legitimate leader” because he has “fled the country”. So they know their hypocrisy will be exposed if Zelensky is found definitively to no longer be on Ukrainian soil. And 2ndly, they fear that if Zelensky flees he will be denounced by his own extremist factions which will renounce him and take military control of the country, thus ruining Washington’s own plans of a ‘legitimate’ government ‘in exile’, with Zelensky remaining putatively at the head.
#4: Small protests take place here and there, organized and engineered of course by NGO groups in secret calls-to-arms on Telegram and Whatsapp and many typical underground communications networks. These are insignificant. In fact, what we see happening is a galvanization of Russian support for both Putin and the troops because the ruthlessness and naked racism of the Western sanctions/hatred has in fact rallied the Russian citizenry into a new type of national pride. We know Putin’s approval skyrocketed as high as 70% recently but I’ve even heard reports backing of the military operation is similarly rising towards the 75% mark (unconfirmed).

In Volnovakha, during the evacuation of civilians, Vladimir Zhoga, aka “Vokha” – the commander of a separate reconnaissance battalion “Sparta”, which he commanded after the death of “Motorola”, was killed. He began to fight in the Donbass at the age of 20. I happened to know him personally – in 2014 I interviewed him, not yet suspecting that in front of me was the future commander of Sparta and the future colonel, who would pass away so early, having given most of his adult life and life itself to protect the Donbass.

US gives NATO countries ‘green light’ to provide fighter jets to Ukraine
The decision comes after US lawmakers held a virtual meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky
“US Secretary of State Tony Blinken told CBS News on Sunday that Washington has given a “green light” to NATO members to supply Ukraine with fighter jets, and that the US would work to replace any jets sent to Kiev. Blinken spoke after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged US lawmakers to intervene in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Asked whether NATO members could begin sending planes to Ukraine, Blinken said “that gets a green light.” The US’ top diplomat then said that Washington was already working with Polish officials to “backfill” any aircraft they send to Ukraine – meaning the US would replace every Polish aircraft given to Kiev with an American one.
Supporting the delivery of jets to Ukraine occupies a middle ground for the US between active intervention in Ukraine and purely economic retaliation against Moscow. The government in Kiev has made no secret of its desire for the US to intervene militarily, with President Zelensky urging American lawmakers on Saturday to enforce a “no-fly zone” over Ukraine. Such a measure would see the US and any willing NATO allies commit to shooting down Russian aircraft, something Moscow has explicitly said it would perceive as an act of war.
The US and NATO have ruled out a no-fly zone, and repeatedly stated that they would not send troops to Ukraine.
However, delivering fighter jets to the Ukrainians has not proven simple thus far. The European Union pledged warplanes to Ukraine late last month, but faced two significant hurdles: first finding jets that Ukrainian pilots could fly, and then finding countries willing to deliver them from their airports.
The Ukrainian Air Force uses Soviet-designed MiG-29 and Sukhoi Su-24, Su-25, and Su-27 jets in combat roles, and with the Su-25 used by Bulgaria and the MiG-29 used by Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia, the jets would need to be sourced from these countries.
Shortly after the EU’s announcement, Poland stated that it wouldn’t send jets to Ukraine nor allow its airports to be used for deliveries. Bulgaria and Slovakia then stated that they wouldn’t take part in any deal, effectively killing off the EU’s arms supply plans.
However, Blinken’s statement on Sunday suggests that the plan may have been revived, but by the US and Poland rather than the EU. Blinken did not give any indication how soon Polish planes could be on their way to Ukraine, but said that discussions between Washington and Warsaw were “active.”

Therefore, I think that it is quite possible that qualified pilots of whatever citizenship, even US citizens, could be instantaneously granted Ukrainian citizenship and fly those planes to wherever, doing whatever, as “Ukrainian pilots”. If the citizenship laws in “Ukraine” have to be modified, that is what will happen, even by a “government in exile”.
Don’t expect the bald-faced-lying western MSM to report this immaculate conception after these where-did-they-come-from pilots start killing Russians in “Ukraine”. NATO’s frontline states find themselves in a quandary re: any type of overt intervention against Russia in Ukraine. Putin already warned them in no uncertain terms about taking part in the conflict, and if Ukraine is an example of what Russia can deliver, they don’t want to risk their airplanes, airports, military installations. On the other hand, the US/NATO is prodding them into action, offering some rewards along the way, like the proverbial carrot for the donkey. How far they will decide to go, remains to be seen. No doubt Russia already has all their coordinates in their (digital) crosshairs, ready to pull the trigger at the first sign of aggression.
Blinken’ a “green light,” however, is an escalation on the part of the US/NATO, which signals a political decision to jack up their intervention in the conflict, parallel to Russia’s opening the second phase of the cleansing operation. Odessa is coming, as well as linking with Transnistria, closing the cauldron in Donbass, squeezing the Ukronazis out of Kharkov/Mariupol, and Kiev. US/NATO’s intentions are to stagnate Russia in a quagmire, they will resort to any manipulation of their useful idiots to achieve their aims.
As von Meltke taught us, “No plan survives contact with the enemy.”
Ukraine, as Putin just warned them, is risking its statehood.

I don’t think most people understand what a violent society Ukraine was,even before the maidan took place. The years of independence exposed Ukrainians to an almost lawless life. Far worse than Russia since Putin came to power and ended the “horrible 90’s” there.And “light years” from the peace and order of Belarus. Ukraine was totally corrupt,only the humanity of most Ukrainians made it survivable. But after maidan,that corrupt Ukraine took a sharp turn deeper into depravity. Not only was it a corrupt society,but a ever more violent murderous one as well. As one famous Ukrainian female Rada member said “we traded a government of thieves,for a government of thieves and murderers”. Today with the releasing of criminals by Zelensky,the open giving of army weapons to anyone wanting one.And the defeat of the nazis,Ukraine will enter a “West West” period,far worse than the one that carried that name in the US’s 19th century.
So what can be done to bring order to that country? It’s going to take a lot of hard work. Russia,no matter whether they want to set up Ukraine as one state,or divide it into several.The problem of crime and order will need to be solved. A denazification along the German model is a good first start. Identify those elements,remove them from the society,and certainly from any governmental positions,is a must. They may for a time be needed to be removed from Ukrainian territories.Sent into Russia to reeducation centers,created along the Chinese model. Putting in a strong Ukrainian police force/forces loyal to Russia (maybe recruited from Ukrainian soldiers that surrendered,along with those elements known to be pro-Russian,and also Donbass volunteers).I suspect a force of hard men along the lines of those that after WW2 cleaned out the liberated areas of the USSR will be needed. Those should also be recruited from the elements I mentioned,plus Russian volunteer ex-military. It’s going to be hard and bloody work,and no one needs to fool themselves that it won’t. There are going to be a lot of angry violent armed men running around Ukraine and they will have to be neutralized if there is to be peace and order established there.Which is the only way for Russia to be secure.
Russia is also going to have to blend the economy of Ukraine into the Russian sphere. And jump start it to give the people jobs and hope. People working with hope for the future are hard for fanatics to propagandize to cause trouble. A smart policy would recognize that and work to implement it.It took the West 3 decades to destroy Ukraine and create an anti-Russia.That won’t be repaired in a month.But it can,and must be done if Russia is to win.
