Guaido is a political puppet, a mercenary. He made history, as the US promoted him to the rank of “interim President”, a new political title and phrase. What is laughable is that he never even ran for the Office of President. The US thought that Venezuela was just another banana republic and that old subversive methods could be implemented, either a coup d’etat against Maduro, or a color revolution. Washington miscalculated badly. Nobody in Venezuela can forget the bad old days prior to Chavez, when the country was looted by foreign entities. Patriotism by a president still works.
No, no, Gweedo MUST be installed as the next President to get rid of that terrible Maduro, perhaps with the aid of a bit more polonium. Then the natural wealth of Venezuela can go to needy, hard pressed Wall Street hedge fund managers instead of being squandered on things like education, health care and poverty.
Somewhere, America’s favorite regime change poster boy, Juan Guaido, is throwing a hissy fit that even a 2-year old would be embarrassed by.
