It’s not by accident that the Hegemon is going no holds barred to harass and try to smash Eurasian integration by all means available.
It’s a scorpion battle inside a vortex of distorted mirrors inside a circus. So let’s start with the mirrors in the circus.
The non-entity that passes for Ukrainian Foreign Minister traveled to Brussels to be courted by US Secretary of State Blinken and NATO secretary-general Stoltenberg.
At best, that’s circus shadowplay. Much more than NATO advisers in a frantic revolving door in Kiev, the real shadowplay is MI6 actually working very close with President Zelensky.
Zelensky’s warmongering script comes directly from MI6’s Richard Moore. Russian intel is very much aware of all the fine print. Glimpses were even carefully leaked to a TV special on the Rossiya 1 channel.
I confirmed it with diplomatic sources in Brussels. British media also got wind of it – but obviously was told to further distort the mirrors, blaming everything on, what else, “Russian aggression”.
German intel is practically non-existent in Kiev. Those NATO advisers remain legion. Yet no one talks about the explosive MI6 connection.
Careless whispers in Brussels corridors swear that MI6 actually believes that in the case of a volcanic but as it stands still preventable hot war with Russia, continental Europe would burn and Brexitland would be spared.
Dream on. Now back to the circus.
Oh, you’re so provocative
Both Little Blinken and NATO straw man Stoltenberg parroted the same script in Brussels after talking to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
That was part of a NATO “special meeting” on Ukraine – where some Eurocrat must have told a bunch of extra clueless Eurocrats how they would be carbonized on the spot by Russian TOS-1 Buratino’s terrifying explosive warheads if NATO tried anything funny.
Listen to the sound of Blinken yappin’: Russian actions are “provocative”.
Well, his staff certainly did not hand him a copy of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu examining step by step the deployment of the annual US Army DEFENDER-Europe 21: “The main forces are concentrated in the Black Sea and Baltic region.”
Now listen to the sound of Stoltenberg yappin’: We pledge “unwavering support” to Ukraine.
Woof woof. Now go back to play in your sandboxes.
No, not yet. Little Blinken threatened Moscow with “consequences” whatever happens in Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov’s infinite patience is nearly Daoist. Sun Tzu’s Art of War, by the way, is a Daoist masterpiece. Peskov’s answer to Blinken: “It is simply not necessary for us to go around forever proclaiming: ‘I am the greatest!’ The more one does this sort of thing, in fact, the more people doubt it…”
When in doubt, call the irreplaceable Andrei Martyanov – who always tells it like it is. The Crash Test Dummy gang in D.C. still does not get it – although some Deep State pros do.
As I am on record constantly – the United States never fought a war with its Command and Control system under the relentless sustained fire impact and its rear attacked and disorganized. Conventionally, the United States cannot win against Russia in Europe, at least Eastern part of it and Biden Admin better wake up to the reality that it may, indeed, not survive any kind of escalation and, in fact, modern Kalibrs, 3M14Ms, as a matter of fact, have a range of a 4,500 kilometers, as well as 5,000+ kilometer range of X-101 cruise missiles, which will have no issues with penetrating North American airspace when launched by Russia’s strategic bombers without even leaving the safety of Russia’s airspace.
The Patrushev effect
The circus went on with the phone call from “Biden” – that is, Crash Test Dummy with an earpiece and a teleprompter in front of the phone – to President Putin.
Call it the Patrushev effect.
In his stunning interview to Kommersant, Triple Yoda Patrushev mentioned a very civilized late March phone call he had with US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. Of course there’s no smokin’ gun, but if anyone would come up with the face-saving idea of a Biden-Putin phone call that would have been Sullivan.
The spin from Washington and Moscow is only slightly divergent. The Americans highlight that “Biden” – actually the deciding combo behind him – wants to build “a stable and predictable relationship with Russia, consistent with US interests.”
The Kremlin said that Biden “expressed interest in normalizing bilateral relations.”
Away from all this fog, what really matters is Patrushev-Sullivan. That has to do with Washington telling Turkey that US warships would be transiting the Bosphorus towards the Black Sea. Sullivan must have told Patrushev that no, they won’t be “active” in Donbass. And Patrushev told Sullivan, OK, we won’t incinerate them.
There are absolutely no illusions in Moscow that this putative Biden-Putin summit in a distant future will ever take place. Especially after Daoist Peskov had made it very clear that “no one will allow America to speak with Russia from a position of strength.” If that sounds like a line straight out of Yang Jiechi – who made shark fin’s soup out of Blinken-Sullivan in Alaska – that’s because it does.
Kiev, predictably, remains stuck in circus mode. After getting sharp messages from Mr. Iskander, Mr. Khinzal and Mr. Buratino, they changed their mind, or at least pretend to, and are now saying they don’t want war.
And here comes the intersection between circus and the serious stuff. The “Biden” combo never said, explicitly, on the record, that they don’t want war. On the contrary: they are sending those warships to the Black Sea and – circus again! – designating an envoy, Ministry of Silly Walks-style, whose only job is to derail the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
So the cliffhanger – like a teaser for Snowpiercer – is what happens when Nord Stream 2 is completed.
But before that, there’s something even more momentous: next Wednesday, on his speech to the Russian Security Council, President Putin will lay down the law.
It’s Minsk 2, stupid
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov, has struck a much less Daoist note than Peskov: “The United States is our enemy, doing everything to undermine Russia’s position in the international arena, we do not see other elements in their approach to us. These are our conclusions”.
That’s stone to the bone realpolitik. Ryabkov knows the Hegemon’s “non agreement-capable” mindset inside out. So an added dimension to his observation is its direct connection to the only solution for Ukraine: the Minsk 2 agreements.
Putin reiterated Minsk 2 on his live teleconference with Merkel and Macron – and certainly to “Biden” in their phone call. The Beltway, the EU and NATO are all aware of it. Minsk 2 was signed by Ukraine, France and Germany and certified by the UN Security Council. If Kiev violates it, Russia – as a member of the UNSC – must enforce it.
Kiev has been violating Minsk 2 for months now; it refuses to implement it. As a faithful Hegemon satrapy, they are also not “agreement-capable”. Yet now they are seeing the – firepower – writing on the wall if they as much as think of starting a blitzkrieg against Donbass.
The open secret in the whole Ukraine/Donbass wilderness of mirrors under the circus tent is of course China. Yet Ukraine, in a sane world, would not only be part of a Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) corridor, but also part of the Russian Greater Eurasia project. China specialist Nikolai Vavilov recognizes the importance of BRI, but is also certain Russia is above all defending its own interests.
Ideally, Ukraine/Donbass would be inserted in the overall revival of the Silk Roads – as in internal Central Eurasian trade based and developed taking into consideration Eurasia-wide demand. Eurasia integration – in both the Chinese and Russian vision – are all about interconnected economies via inter-regional trade.
So it’s not by accident that the Hegemon – on the verge of becoming an irrelevant player across Eurasia – is going no holds barred to harass and try to smash the continental integration by all means available.
In this context, manipulating a failed state to meet its own doom is just (circus) business.
ive never read the truth put in such superb grammer!! 💪😁
Lawrence
Yes. The following sentence says it all:
“So it’s not by accident that the Hegemon – on the verge of becoming an irrelevant player across Eurasia – is going no holds barred to harass and try to smash the continental integration by all means available”.
That is certainly correct. However, does the Hegemon understand the double risk involved ? Not only does he risk a wider war, he also risks losing his allies in Europe. Then again, does he really understand this, and if he does, does he really care ?
I wish I could see the USA losing its allies in Europe, but I can’t. Since the end of World War II the USA has owned the political classes of Western Europe — including the major “opposition” parties — as well as their media, through a combination of bribery, blackmail, calumny, and threats. We’ve seen how they deal with figures who offer even the meekest resistance (e.g., Corbyn). The people may be tired of US hegemony, but there’s literally nothing they can do about it.
And I hardly need to mention that the situation in Eastern Europe is the same, multiplied by a factor of 100 or so.
“Little Blinken” is one of those neocon State Department hangers-on who along with “Cookie” Nuland and her husband Robert Kagan, staged the coup in Ukraine back in 2014. Now that Biden has put them back in place, is it any wonder that they’ve resumed their attack on Russia? As I’ve said before, it goes way back to 965 when Sviatoslav I destroyed the Khazar city of Sarkel and its capital at Atil. A visitor to Atil wrote soon after Sviatoslav’s campaign: “The Rus’ attacked, and no grape or raisin remained, not a leaf on a branch.”
Ukraine is the old Khazar stomping ground, so any new development in the AngloZionist Empire’s ongoing war with Russia has had over a millennium of animosity as the backdrop. My guess is that the “Emperor” has long ago realized that he’s as naked as a jaybird and is reaching for that last straw, all-out nuclear war, that was always available to him as a last resort. That’s why Uncle Shmuel has nukes in the first place, Pepe.
If Sviatoslav really had so utterly destroyed the Khazars, it would be hard to explain why the ‘Khazar Jews’ sent emissaries to the pagan Vladimir trying to convert him to Judaism, but Vladimir chased them away and instead adopted ‘Byzantine’ Orthodoxy. It is not revenge against Sviatoslav that the ‘Khazar Kagans’ seek, but against Saint Vladimir. This ‘ukro-nazi’ and pseudo-slavophile cult of Sviatoslav should be discarded.
Sviatoslav “utterly destroyed” the Khazar capital at Atil just like the Romans “utterly destroyed” Jerusalem in 70 CE. Truth is, only the elites fled while the peasants remained as the indigenous inhabitants of the region. That’s why the descendants of the Khazars, the Ashkenazim, have no right to occupy Palestine. Zionism is based on a false reality, and as you say, should be discarded.
A part of those Khazar elites, the Kabar, fled to Hungary along with Magyar tribes. One can imagine Soros being of that lineage..
Thank you, Pepe for another insightful look at current events!!
”German intel is practically non-existent in Kiev.”
Given that Germany is the most influential country in the EU, that Merkel was Chancellor when Germany signed on to Minsk 2, that Kiev is home to politically-powerful Neo-Nazis, and that Germany is separated from Ukraine only by Poland (who recently attacked NS2), I find this statement hard to believe.
If they’re not deeply embedded in Ukraine, then what exactly are the BND doing these days?
“German Intel is practically non existent in Kiev”
I don’t find that hard to believe.
Germany dominates Europe politically and economically. The British are the ones who control the intel.
“MI6’s over-riding objective is to protect and promote British economic and political interests in the face of greater economic penetration by its rivals” .
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2004/10/balk-o27.html
In the Balkans at least, most of the covert operations are/were run by US and British agents embedded within NGOs, “consultancy groups” or diplomatic staff.
Well, perhaps that says something about the involvement of the German state in that conflict.
In this one, in Ukraine, Merkel herself is directly involved in negotiations and has signed on to an official agreement. The BND doesn’t protect the Chancellor? It doesn’t at least collect intelligence on something the German Chancellor has signed?
What about the Neo-Nazis with political power? The BND doesn’t collect intelligence on that?
And the BND doesn’t protect German industry/industrialists (especially that last one is hard to believe)? By collecting intelligence on potential saboteurs of NS2?
Impossible!!
That is exactly the one point where I would contradict this article too.
1992 the German embassy was the biggest western embassy in Ukraine. For decades all that Banderite club was kept exclusively by the German intelligence, as CIA and MI6 withdrew after the capitulation of their saboteurs in Ukraine in 1956. That makes nearly 40 years of eclusive ownership. And that are the people that went back to Ukraine in 1992 and started building their political structures there and digging into the Ukrainian state.
The fundamental difference is just that the British and the US leashes are still visible; the German one is subcutane, already grown into the flesh. The whole Ukronazi thing has a German copyright. Or, let’s use a computer metaphor – the Brits can install their software, but the operating system is German, down to the machine code and the chip structure.
German capital is as split as the US one about foreign policy. There is a stronger industrial sector than in the US, but there is also an enormous rent sector. And while industrial capital is intested in functioning trade relations and has an existential need for North Stream 2 (much more than Russia), rent capital, that depends on airy things like ‘intellectual property’, simply can’t exist without US hegemony. Because rent capital doesn’t produce surplus, it just claims a part of surplus without even participating in the realisation of surplus value. It’s a parasite that needs an enforcer.
Rent capital is the faction pushing ‘green new deal’ and that stuff. Their influence upon German politics is extreme. They are Atlanticists due to their business model, which will break down with the Empire.
Thanks for the comment. Appreciate what you’re saying except for one point, which I would question. :-)
”… simply can’t exist without US hegemony” But China is Germany’s largest trading partner and the world’s leading economy. Surely, the German rentier class has adapted? Eurasian integration must have more to offer German rent capital than anything from the US.
Rent capital is a complicated category. Most people look at industrial, trade- and bankcapital. The first one generates the surplus value, the other two have a function in realising it. Rent capital is different. The base for rent is the privatisation of commons (best known version: land property). It was originally some kind of compromise of the new capitalist class with the old landowners – they still somehow got their share. But during the last three decades, through neoliberal politics, rent capital multiplied. The whole internet ‘industry’ is rent capital, all the profits made via patents are rent capital, brands are rent capital, private clinics, universities etc. etc….
The share of surplus that they demand has to be generated somewhere. Basically, by producing goods. This production happens more and more outside of the imperialist centre. Now, just forget that you were told in how many forms someone may have a claim for something and ask yourself, if the surplus is produced in a country at the other end of the world, and then the product gets a brand name on it and most of the money flows towards the owner of that brand, which is just some kind of social construct – what prevents the country and the company where the good is produced to keep the surplus for themselves?
It’s the fact that until now those few states of the imperialist core can exclude such a state from trade. And they can’t do that because they are so brilliant; they can do that, because every country that tries to move away gets smashed. By force. So basically all the money flowing to Google or Apple or the big pharmaceutical companies is depending on military dominance, because it is in the best interest of all the other countries to move away from this structure.
The classic neocolonial model was still different. We give you loans, you take an eternity to pay back and have to follow our orders. Ugly, but there was still some money flowing.. the rent based model is different. You give us money and we give you something, that basically belongs to all of mankind (like science), or a nice logo… and we take all the benefit from your production.
The more parasitic the structure turns, the more fragile it becomes. So what is going to happen to all those fantasies of brand names and intellectual property, if the majority of countries simply opts out? They dissolve into nothing.
Therefore rent capital is even more aggressive than finance capital. The first traditional industry that included a larger part of rent capital was the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. That’s where you find the explanation why in German history the IG Farben (known today as BASF, Bayer, Aventis and several others) are clearly identifyable as the most aggressive block of German capital, the ones who really pushed the Nazis into power.
The military decline of the US-Empire is difficult for finance and industry capital but it is a death sentence for most of the rent capital. No matter whether it is situated in the US or in Germany or in France or Britain. Rent capital can’t reorient towards a cooperation with China f.e., because it is essentially parasitic, and why should China feed these parasites?
That is the reason why crazy plans like the ‘Great Reset’ are made. The only solution for this rent capital would be 1) to keep the Empire running at any price, and 2) to turn the human being (at least the 99%) themselves into a commodity. Means, the society they imagine to save and continue their position of power is a mixture between the feudal model and a slaveholder society. Just to keep the billionaires on top.
Thank you for your very astute and decisive analysis.
It all makes sense if you assume that M0ssad controls all of the spook agencies of the West. The Anglo/Zionists planned and prepared for WW1 ten years in advance including the establishment of the Fed and Income tax to finance the forever wars just in time for WW1. Their purpose was the annihilation of Germany and the establishment of lsrael. They accomplished their goals after 1945. The Zionists now control the most powerful empire in history, the U.S. and its vassals, mostly NAT0 and west Pacific countries. Germany has been conquered by the Zionists. The stars in the NAT0 flag should be six-pointed.

INDEED.
My question would be what would create the conditions to DISLODGE that power?
Thank you Pepe fir this exceptional article
I think you are totally right here
No big war will come and the usa looks very weak indeed
Russia on the other side must keep the red lines on now for a longer period of time
Pepe, the “money-printers” need a big conflagration, short of a nuclear, in order to preserve some value of their money, aka the US Dollar.
By the way. The young Jens Stoltenberg, at that time chairman of the socialist Working party´s youth organisation of Norway and opposed to NATO, would certainly see his nowadays name sake as a traitor and a running dog for the hegemon.
Yes, the proper term for his current role is quisling.
From another Norwegian to another. totally agreed. he gives fogt rasmussen a good run for the money. total sellout. the only norwegian with a darker legacy is Brundtland, in cohort with the technocrat maurice strong.
born in ‘70, i can vividly remember the typhones going off, and you better be sure that the watch showed 12 ‘oklock. if not- you had apxx 15-20 minutes left to make up with our maker.
it has always been my impression that Norway had a somewhat pragmatic role in the cold war, with a bit more communication up here in the arctic, than we where told. but I am not able to see, or recognize, any pragmatizm in our political class as of now. our best hope now, is the leader of the armed forces. after several political generals, we now have a guy from the special forces… fsk…. can put a damper on temperaments.
btw thanks for good site, been lurking for years. hope is was topic enough.
too late….
NS2 will be completed and operational. I hear 800 to 1,000 meters per day? Funny that an empire should itself turn its inability to stop a pipeline into something so powerfully symbolic of collapse. So, can Mr. Moore expect a visit from Mr, Kinzhal, et. al., should things get hot?
Less than 500 in average for the last 10 weeks.
Data from yesterday.
Friday, April 16, 2021
Yesterday Zelensky gave an interview to a reporter from Le Figaro magazine where he answered questions about Ukraine and its future relationship with the EU. He also expects to receive an action plan for NATO membership.
See: https://inosmi.ru/politic/20210416/249584440.html?fbclid=IwAR3Md_6tLbnqcZiXT2_Dci-BmXQrTV5ISRXrNIbdzqgkg7t4XCE8k5eTAeE
He spewed lie after lie about “Russian aggression”, floated the idea that Russia was involved in some of the terrorist attacks in France and said that Russia is blocking compliance with the Minsk agreement.
He also said when asked about the return of Crimea, “Я живу в другой парадигме. Для меня Крым и Донбасс никуда не уходили, и это точно наши территории. И они не будут счастливы без Украины.”
Translation: “I live in a different paradigm. For me, Crimea and Donbass did not go anywhere, and these are definitely our territories. And they will not be happy without Ukraine.”
Zelensky confirmed the talking points US-NATO want him to spread around Europe and anyone else that will listen to his propaganda. He is a trained actor who plays the part of the Ukrainian Head of State and lives in a world of imagination that will end very badly and cause more suffering of innocent people.
President Putin will address the Russian Federal Assembly in person on Wednesday, April 21.
See: https://www.rt.com/russia/520258-putin-major-address-future/
It seems to me Putin has to speak about the Ukraine situation so the entire legislature understands together what will unfold in the near future.
When you dissolve the colours of the Ukrainian flag (blue and yellow) and mix them together, you get the colour green…Zelensky means green…will he be the one to dissolve Ukrainian statehood…
It is well known that no actor can perform without the ‘prompter’, the person who prompts or cues actors when they forget their lines or neglect to move on the stage to where they are supposed to be situated.
I believe the Putin speech on April 21 is set for the Federal Assembly.
The Security Council would probably not be public.
Putin announced the big Constitutional changes last year at the Federal Assembly speech, so “big shift or change” is likely as reports indicate.
Pepe’s ability to weave sarcasm, wit and facts continues. He has plenty of material from the twin clown shows in Washington and Kiev. Mix in the Keystone Kops of NATO and the tranny grannies of the EU and comedy is like Yellowstone’s Old Faithful, an endless geyser of gaffs and guffaws.
It relieves the anxiety of “impending war”, sold to us in place of Power that the US no longer can project.
After all, isn’t the US hiding behind the inept Ukies? Just as they have hidden behind ISIS and AQ and al Nusra and a vast array of contractors in place of its own army and alliances?
If you won’t come to the fight, we used to call that “chickening out”.
The US, NATO and their supporters saw what Shoigu had waiting for them “in the alley”.
They are rethinking the “terms of engagement”.
Those are not the Polite Green Men waiting at the border. Those Russians are the business end of a war machine built to win and destroy forever the fools who attack them.
“Chicky, chicky, chicky” we use to bait the bullies. They always turned and left. If they can’t get the drop on you, they turn chickenshit.
Note how Biden stepped “behind” Japan and pushed them at China. Chickenshit.
“The US, NATO and their supporters saw what Shoigu had waiting for them “in the alley.”
They are rethinking the “terms of engagement.”
— They should do the rethinking with greater agility – before the US-provided weaponry on a border with Russia sparkles a war, and the Russians respond with a well-thought and well-deserved attack on the ZUSA.
The ZUSA’s geriatric “deciders” have been kept alive on young blood (literally). The demented lot and the politically correct wokes reigning in Silicon Valley have neither normative compassion (see mass slaughters in Iraq, Syria, and Libya) nor enough intelligence to figure out what exactly they have been inviting upon their children and grandchildren.
I notice more than a little irony in pledging to defend the country we used nuclear weapons on with, what else……. nuclear weapons!!!
Brilliant!!!
the U.S. is hiding behind inept Ukies and inept nukies.
Oh ‘Bidens’ did more than that…
due to the foreign policy restriction, no USA officals are permitted to enter Taiwan,
so traditionally, USA send ‘friends’ from the white house to do the ‘visitation’
they just went again to Taiwan and prob sold them another bunch of useless weapons in some secret meeting
the last time they sold Taiwan a bunch of retired anti-sub stuff
it arrive dead and when Taiwan ask politely if it can be repair (of course Taiwan will have to pay more)
they were told go ask the germans… you can read whatever you like here
HA :D
And they are still paying for those dead anti-subs… decades now
These suckers just cannot refuse to pay protection fees to Big Bro
oh yes USSA will defend Taiwan
like they say so publicly to defend so many other little bro ‘under their wings’
and this is the Taiwan China needs to invade to reclaim it?
HA :D
Also Japan/Suga is due for an election soon… word is USSA want a new ‘more agressive’ puppet
I suspect, USSA may offer to give Japan nuk-tech of some sort
like Japan cannot have air-craft carrier, so they were allowed by Big Bro, to build a BIG war ship, like aircraff carrier but not exactly
and its not for peaceful purposes plz – aircraff carrier are not for peaceful purposes is it?
Japan has been begging for nuk-tech for ages…
So are the ‘bidens’ crazy/desperate enough to sell nuk-tech to the country they nuk?
If so, like Israel that have nuk-tech, Japan have nuk-tech will have far wider ‘consequence’ in the east… Russian will need to step in. Forcefully!
Thanks for your awesome post – chickenshit they are!
be well be safe
Very true. Japan has an enormous stockpile of plutonium that it has been trying to create a “peaceful” use for, and it has been a poorly kept secret that it wants to be able to produce a nuke in an instant. I’m not sure they don’t know how yet. They are much more concerned about Chinese acquisitiveness than anything Russia is doing, but I see their media playing up “Russian aggressiveness” faithfully.
Despite being victimized by nuclear technology at least three times (lesser known incident at Tokai-mura in which two workers were fatally irradiated in a criticality caused by taking shortcuts at their boss’s request), and with about 70% of the population opposed to restarting the reactors the last I’ve heard, and having demonstrated that they are capable of cutting back electricity use enough to make it work, TJPTB insist on restarting Japan’s nukes and churning out more plutonium along with all the other long-lived radioactive products in “spent” nuclear fuel, with no prospects for long-term storage that aren’t vulnerable to incidents. They really really really want a bomb.
France has worked secretly for decades with the Japanese. The Japanese have the bomb technology. Fukushima coverup was to hide the bomb tech, not just to cover the mistakes and carelessness of the nuclear industry.
Of course, the US controls them, but the warmonger Imperialists are probably weeks away from bombs. The Japanese see Asia as their domain. That includes the Far East of Russia, the Korean Peninsula, China (especially Taiwan), Philippines and SE Asia. They are a massive danger to stability in the world.
The US now inflates the need for Japan to fully rearm. Threatening China with a more aggressive Japan backed by US nuclear weapons teaches the Chinese they need far more nuclear warheads than the 250 or so they have. And they should abandon the ‘no first use’ doctrine. This is noble, but irrational. For nukes to be a deterrent, the adversary has to know that a red line crossed is what would trigger a use of nukes.
Japan and the US are aggressor nations. They are irremediable. Though the Japanese culture is generally calm and often serene, the power vector controlling the nation never were defanged after WWII. Abe sent them into rearmament mode, bending the constitutional restraints.
With Biden urging on the worst instincts of the Japanese military and Imperialists, real nuclear conflict is more of a danger in Asia than anywhere, and it won’t be Kim and North Korea’s fault.
What is the easiest way for the US to prevent BRI and Eurasian Integration and the rise to number one economy by China?
Have a little war along the East Asia mainland. Maybe a few tactical nukes to destroy 40 years of development.
We saw how a virus hit China’s economy. Imagine war. The US imagines it, regularly. War is the number one US tradecraft. It is policy, not just doctrine. It is Plan A.
Here’s some history on Japan’s program for nuclear weapons:

New Bill Seeks To Convince Biden To Implement ‘No First Use’ Nuclear Policy
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/new-bill-seeks-convince-biden-implement-no-first-use-nuclear-policy
We hv Hopium!!!
As I observe, china’s non-interference policy has oh so slightly change to ‘I’ll b*tch-slap you right back’ after all being poked all the time and not poke back is so not fun…
So you may just win the bet if you put your money there… sigh :(
btw how fast is the first these days? nuk b4 breakfast is finished?!
be well be safe
If anything, Japan, like Europe and the Soviet Union, ended up on the receiving end the second world war, whereas the USA remained relatively unscathed because it’s, well, surrounded by two whole oceans. If this isn’t a barometer on a national appetite for war (i.e. the higher the vulnerability, the greater the civilians’ opposition to war), then I don’t know what is. And either way, I could be missing something, but to me it looks like just another case of the USA using another country as cannon fodder, the Yankee cowards.
In other words, what Anonymous (on April 18, 2021 at 9:21 pm) said.
The Japanese had the heaviest and most powerfully armed battleships ever constructed, Yamato and Musashi. They have been largely ineffectual all along the war until they have been sunken by torpedoes. Japanese in fact understood that they can’t punch above their weight and I am sure that they have little appetite for a war with China and Russia.
Thank you Pepe for mentioning China. Apart from the usual big diplomatic agreements, the PRC has big investments in the Ukraine, with talk about acquiring ports and other infrastructure. Unfortunately one of its most important acquisition ventures, that of buying a Ukrainian engineering company that produces airplane engines and turbines was foiled when the Ukrainians nationalised the firm after PRC had bought a 75% share of the company. That is a significant setback for a country that lacks expertise in producing this sort of machinery — IIRC it took RF seven years to produce turbines from scratch after the Ukraine stopped supplying those engines; for PRC it could take longer. The guess is, all was going swimmingly well for both parties until you-know-who interfered. China has also rebuked the Ukraine for yapping about its investments in Crimea. So we can roughly guess which side PRC is going to back should Donbass become hot. Now, this may sound counter-intuitive since most expect PRC to back RF automatically since they have much in common — not least a common enemy — but we are talking about big power competition here where national interest is paramount and national calculations take off from there. There’s plenty in the world’s, particularly Europe’s, modern history to illustrate this fluidity of alignments.
MI6’s role would be a surprise, I think, only to those who see the UK and the US as separate and independent entities, and not joined at the head. The are of a single mind when it comes to Russia.
the PRC is cranking out a Destroyer every three months, sending hundreds of satellites to space per year, building two-three aircraft-carriers yearly, and happens to have a rover roving around on the surface of Mars today.
New generation, that is Gen 5-6 fighter jet engines are being built domestically by, and in China today.
Well that’s true. China’s ship-building programme is amazing as is its military aircraft production. But many of its planes use Russian engines or engine technology. Pakistan’s co-produced JF-17 uses Russian engines instead of Chinese ones as does China’s own stealth J-20. So clearly there is a gap in PRC design and manufacturing capabilities when it comes to engines, and this gap can be rapidly reduced by Ukrainian know-how.
Yandex translation. Mod:
For the Deep State in America there is no way out but a “total” and devastating war, against Russia/China, but that is restricted to Europe. The American people have not known what the devastation of a war in their backyard is since the Civil War. If the worst happens, the Americans will pay the price that Europe paid in the first and second Wars.
They will also pay the price Japan paid in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Yes, that’s Karma :-( We in Germany, we paid so much for Hitler, and we’re still paying. Also we learned from history by working together with other people, not against them any more. That’s why I don’t understand, why this people want to restrict battlefield to Europe!? They don’t understand, that world wide war 4 (“cold” war included as 3th) will devastate the whole world, not only Europe? I have two questions and no answer:
1. Why they are so stupid? (Because devil wants us all in hell and he himself has no problem to live in hell?)
2. What we can do to avoid, prevent this war and protect Earth & ourselves?
kind regards
”Careless whispers in Brussels corridors swear that MI6 actually believes that in the case of a volcanic but as it stands still preventable hot war with Russia, continental Europe would burn and Brexitland would be spared.”
The machinations of Perfidious Albion are world famous, with Ukraine being yet another example.
The Anglos incite conflict/war in someone else’s countries and watch them burn–while snickering up their sleeves and watching the conflagration that they started.
This is the Modus Operandi not only of the British but the broader Anglo American Axis nations, led by America.
It the classic geopolitical template that they employ time and again—particularly to prevent their hated bête noir of Eurasian integration.
This is what World War 2 was largely about. And it is what the current World War 3 is about.
As island nations surrounded by oceans–including continental size island nations like the USA—they believe they are safe from the wars they foment.
However, America and its Anglo crime partners will learn the hard way that these wars they incite will engulf and destroy their own nations.
Careless whispers in Brussels corridors swear that MI6 actually believes that in the case of a volcanic but as it stands still preventable hot war with Russia, continental Europe would burn and Brexitland would be spared.
Yes dream on. Both the USA and British have taken the blue pill. There greatest defense of being isolated by the oceans are now there greatest weakness. Russian just surfaced three (3) nuclear submarines at once in the artic. Russian more than likely has numerous subs just off the coast of both the USA and Britian. 5 minutes flight time for the hypersonic missile. Welcome to the real world.
I am a American living abroad. I don’t want to see my country destroyed but the insane neocons in washington are a” clear and present danger” to the world at large. At present the people are not being told the truth of the situation. They need to wake up and stop focusing on BLM and trans people. Failing to do that might just cause your demise.
They need to wake up and stop focusing on BLM and trans people.
Actually, I think that’s primarily a mass media fixation, and not one ordinary people – outside the coastal media center cities at least – focus on much at all. Unfortunately, what they have done instead, is simply tune everything out. Propaganda overload induced PTSD. That and fear from lack of money to pay for everything in what is now a fully monetized existence. For most Americans everyday is the same: wake up from whatever sleep you were able to get and then start chasing an increasingly worthless buck. Its not a life, it’s an existence. No surprise then that so many turn to drugs, alcohol, and other destructive diversions. The pervasive mood is keep your head down and just try to get through another day. Hardly a vibrant society.
Time is on Russia and China’s side in a hundred different ways. Maybe it helps to be Daoist, but restraint should be common sense for the Russians. Let the Ukies attack. Let the Donbas defend itself with help from Russian advisors and equipment. Keep it a civil war, if indeed it happens–which is doubtful.
I say this as a Son of the American Revolution, War between the States, WW1, Korea…. I’m sick of these pointless Deep State Wars, Vietnam, Gulf Wars, Afghanistan….
If the Puppet Masters of Dementia Biden start war in Ukraine, Taiwan or Iran, We The People MUST go to war against the Deep State…They have already pushed us to the brink with one sided rule of law and loss of Freedoms in Speech, 2nd Amendment etc etc.
Can Biden handle a two front war? Europe and the Homeland? Let’s see. It’s time to Restore the Republic!
On the plus side, maybe we desperately need a two front war to finally snap the American sheeple out of there hypnotic trance and expose our leaders for the fanatic frauds that they are. Certainly not the preferred option, but it might be the only one left at this point. It appears that our ZioMasters in Charge won’t have it any other way. This has been going on in earnest since the end of WWII, but maybe now, with a decisive military and diplomatic defeat, we can finally put a stop to it. “We the People” are not yet “woke” enough or strong enough collectively to do it on our own absent some precipitating traumatic external event. This one might finally be it.

Yet, nobody is talking about who is the main enemy of Russia. Was, is and forever will be.
”Listen to the sound of Blinken yappin’: Russian actions are ’provocative’ ”
And Blinken is dead right about that as of 2 decades already. If there were any substance to what I call ’Biswapriology’ with its core supposition that Putin is the US neocons’ faithful, willing servant, the neocons would have directed their truly beautiful moaning, groaning, and foaming at a more ’deserving’ target already. Their enemy consciousness is flawless, but thanks to the steadfastness and brilliance of that soulless killer and his entire government, the neocons are suffering irreversible mindrot from ideological intoxication. Biden with his senility might well be the least mentally deranged scum available ”over there”.
Sure, it might be true that the neocons have some very old, outlandish grudges of their own but, if anything, they strike me as militant parasites in the strictest Nazi sense. Like Nazi Germany before them, they find themselves incapable of exterminating the peoples of Russia by imposing unrestrained raping and pillaging — the key aim that was to keep the Exceptional & Indispensible rubbish afloat. In other words, the ”idea” here was that Russia (and China) should have been broken up, bled white, and finished off a whole 30 years ago. Now, the neocons find themselves stuck with a bunch of Ukronazis — like-minded, reliable, and cheap comrades, sure, but sadly the most useless Western bootlickers on the entire planet as of 7 years now.
Lukashenko put an end to the nonsense in Belarus last year. This time around, it could be the terminal flop before the West dissolves utterly.
“Careless whispers in Brussels corridors swear that MI6 actually believes that in the case of a volcanic but as it stands still preventable hot war with Russia, continental Europe would burn and Brexitland would be spared.”
Britain would provide an excellent example for Russian military might. It’s an island, so the example could be contained.
Ahh! Some one else observes the extreme possibility.
A sudden utterly total destruction of an entire country. A country that has influenced the development of virtually every other country, a legendary country. A country distanced from others, an island.
A country that has ardently engaged with others to attempt the subjugation of a great power to the point of a thermo nuclear world conflict.
Might not that great power decide to shock and awe the world back from the apocalyptic abyss by terminating the existence of this island legendary country with a single all consuming nuclear device.
Note: I reside in a city called Birmingham located in the heart of England,
“The open secret in the whole Ukraine/Donbass wilderness of mirrors under the circus tent is of course China.
Eurasia integration – in both the Chinese and Russian vision – are all about interconnected economies via inter-regional trade.”
“Interconnected economies via inter-regional trade” for just exactly WHAT purpose — raising the standards of living for those people who have been “interconnected”? It all sounds so very, for lack of a better word, humanitarian. But this is not the REAL reason for the BRI and the Silk Roads. The reason for them is much more mundane and IMO dangerous for its detrimental effect on the biosphere and international relations — the ultimate God of capitalism, the God Growth.
China has a population of around 1,400 million (1.4 billion) people. I think it’s safe to say that that is a lot of people. Yet, amazingly, CCP is very concerned that that is not yet an adequate number of people.
3 kids or more: Chinese researchers call to ABANDON birth limits to ensure immigration-fed US can’t outperform Beijing by 2050
https://www.rt.com/news/521358-china-birth-rate-us-immigration/
From the above:
“China must “fully liberalize” its birth-control policy to increase its labor force in the upcoming decades and compete with such countries as the US economically, a paper published by the People’s Bank of China says.” Etc.
My neighbor, who is a recent immigrant from China and still maintains contact with relatives living there, told me some months ago, during the worst part of COVID in China, that many graduates from China’s most prestigious universities have to get menial jobs because there simply aren’t enough jobs that require their level of training. Why? The economy was not expanding rapidly enough. (This may be different now that China has fully recovered from COVID and is growing like mad.)
And China is not alone with its great big “problem” of purportedly not having a large enough number of people. Russia has the very same “problem”. Just a few days ago this amazing article appeared in TASS.
”Kremlin says Russia lacks sufficient number of migrants to fulfill its ambitious plans
The Kremlin spokesman noted that the number of migrants in Russia has reduced significantly”
https://tass.com/politics/1275561
From the above:
“I can only speak about the real state of affairs, which suggests that, in fact, we have very few migrants remaining over the past year. Actually, we have a severe dearth of these migrants to implement our ambitious plans,” the Kremlin spokesman (Dmitry Peskov) pointed out.”
“Ambitious plans”? What do all of these ambitions plans boil down to? Growth, of course.
Even Mr. Putin is dissatisfied. (Very interesting article.)
Putin dissatisfied with Russia’s birth rate
“Low incomes of most households with children directly threatens Russia’s demographic future, Putin said”
https://tass.com/economy/1108699
“Low incomes” in Russia?! Millions of Russians literally can’t afford to have children? China really needs more people? I don’t believe it! I can’t believe it. I won’t ever believe it. But I do believe that “capitalism” — the ancient system in which a microscopic percentage of the population owns or controls the vast majority of land, wealth and LARGE SCALE capital equipment for their own astronomical profit — does indeed cause “low incomes” that make children too expensive, so importing people is necessary; does indeed require cheap labor; and does indeed vitally require a wildly expanding population from here to eternity (extinction by collective suicide).
To sum up, capitalism in Russia, the US and even in CCP-capitalist-controlled China, and anywhere else capitalism exists, requires perpetual growth, especially population growth, as the above articles spell out. What does all of this growth do? It provides private profit for private investments and private corporations, but only TEMPORARILY, only as long as the population continues to grow at an ever-increasing rate.
Unfortunately, perpetual growth — the God Growth that we hear about constantly from every politician’s mouth, no matter where they are on planet earth — is going to ruin earth’s biosphere and lead to an international competition that’s going to cause ever-intensifying wars right up to nuclear.
Therefore, quite obviously, an economic system has to be developed that does NOT require perpetual growth. Is humanity capable of doing that before and environmental catastrophe or WWIII breaks out? Considering how the various conflicts around the world are “heating up”, it’s not looking good.
Ukraine seems to be avoided -deliberately?-in all the current route maps for the BRI…..considering ending of gas transit contract in a couple of years …nationalising the Chinese bought factory…I think that is going to stay the case. Maybe a branch off the Moscow route could go to Rostov.
Southern route even Germany is dependant on Georgia Turkey Belarus. Oh….might explain conjoined EU Nato interests…aspiring countries to EU Nato being kept on the leash…. takeover of Belarus…..anything for EU countries to avoid having to use Moscow Northern route…thinking they could convince China to not be so enthusiastic about that one?
Great comment. Yet there are many, many types of growth and not all are ‘cancerous’. There can be growth in humanities, in science in the quality of life. Not all growths are economic and depend on capital or profit. That all growths destroy the environment is like saying to a 15 year old that when you get to 30 you will be more dangerous and when you get to 60 you will be radioactive.
The english language is not so good when a word is overdefined yet is great when the same word is allowed its true genesis.
Yes, there are many types of growth and not all growth is bad. For example, I gave myself a bad haircut yesterday, but I’m not worried because my hair is constantly growing and I’ll do a better job in a couple of weeks. No problem. Time heals all wounds (and bad haircuts).
But here’s the growth that I’m talking about — as explained by the brilliant Elite minds of a CEO-power-broker, POTUS and, last, but certainly not least, a man who grew up with a TV acting as his parents, and spent the rest of his time in a garden,

Considering the topic of Pepe’s Essay, I’m reposting this here…..
A way forward in Ukraine via UNSC 2022….
In another forum I was reminded that the Minsk Agreements were codified in a UNSC resolution… 2022 on 7 Feb 15. This resolution contains the following relevant clauses and adoption statements:
“The 13-paragraph “package of measures”, contained in Annex I of the resolution, called for a number of actions.”
“An immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine and its strict implementation as of 15 February 2015”
“Withdrawal of all heavy weapons by both sides by equal distances in order to create a security zone.”
“Withdrawal of all foreign armed formations, military equipment and mercenaries from the territory of Ukraine.” {This will be interpreted to include NATO forces.}
“Disarmament of all illegal groups.” {This will be interpreted to include “Right Sector”, and all the UkroNazis.}
“Reform of Ukraine with a new constitution entering into force by the end of 2015.” That document had to provide for decentralization, as well as adopting permanent legislation on the special status of certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in line with eight measures until the end of 2015. {This will be justification for supervising creation of a new one.}
Council members had also emphasized that perpetrators must be held accountable for the 2014 downing of the Malaysian airliner that killed 298 people. {I expect Russia to charge Ukrainian FSB & CIA}
Echoing a common view, the representative of France said it was the “Council’s collective responsibility to silence the guns”.
The representative of Germany said the resolution was of utmost importance, conveying a stern message to those who violated the ceasefire.
Agreeing, the representative of Ukraine called on the Security Council’s permanent members to prevent violations. ”
My anticipated course of action by Russia::……………….
I believe, Russia will claim it’s action(s) in Ukraine are for the purpose of enforcing UNSC resolution 2022. That such action was specifically called for by the Ukraine upon the resolution’s adoption, and such action includes removal of all NATO forces in Ukraine because they are “foreign forces” specifically required to be removed from Ukraine.
Russia will supervise elections of a “unity” government and shepherd development and adoption of a new constitution as envisioned in UNSC 2022.
Russia will search and destroy Right Sector and the other extremist groups, as envisioned in UNSC 2022.
Russia has been gathering evidence of “crimes against humanity, and war crimes” perpetrated since the 2014 coup, including the massacre in Odessa, and the sniper killings in Kiev. Russia will conduct a war crimes tribunal, for the purpose of bringing perpetrators of the above, including the MH 17 downing, to justice.
Russia will conduct these operations throughout the entirety of Ukraine, likely with their forces wearing “blue” helmets.
NATO and specifically UK/USA will be powerless to interfere.
I reiterate, the above is my view of how the Russians may frame their incursion.

There is an impractical component to what you lay out. Ukraine is a huge country within which “hunting down and destroying the Private Sektor and others, Azov Battalion would be as successful as the British hunting down and destroying the American revolutionaries.
The Russian Military won’t be doing that. Too many casualties, too much collateral damage.
The last thing Russia wants is a prolonged stay in an environment that is hostile.Guerrilla war is always prolonged and costly. Name a counter-insurgency war that hasn’t taken 10 years since the end of WWII.
If all Russia decided to do was pound the contact line and force the Ukies to move 75km north and west and turn lose the Donbass military to grab the rest of the two oblasts, that would be enforcing the Minsk 2 and would be legal.
If other cities in Novorossiya asked for Russian help to get rid of Ukies and Nazis, that might be possible. Though I think all Putin will do is offer small arms for them to fight for their freedom.
Everyone believes that because the Russians could do much more militarily, they should and would do it.
I don’t see that happening.
There is one situation where Russia would go for a wider operation inside Ukraine. If NATO entered the fight, then Russian would go anywhere in Ukraine and destroy those elements.
Hi,
Thank you for your input.
So, we agree that UNSC 2022 gives Russia wide latitude in what she can do, should she choose to intervene.
How events pan out will prove interesting.

“There is an impractical component to what you lay out”
When the Russians grab their TV, radio, internet and mobile telephony, it will become entirely practical. Heavens, the Ukrainian police under new command would hunt down these people. No need for Russians to do the legwork. The Americans and Israelis installed a huge spying apparatus. Use it!
For example, a simple one-liner SMS can tell all the inhabitants of Kiev to stay indoors unless they are on official business – punishment incarceration until they are proven to have a valid health-related issue or similar.
The power of modern media and communications is unbelievable.
Dr. George W Oprisko,
Re your opinion re Russia’s possible actions under the cover of UNSC 2022; it does make sense ans I hope it does pan out that way as they would have the legal cover of a UNSC resolution.
But would that be enough, would US/NATO/US step back? Or would they rely on their overwhelming propaganda advantage to drown out the legality of Russian actions?
I am the grandson of Russian immigrants. What follows is a true story…..
My parents ran out of $$ needed to continue sending my 2 sisters and me to Orthodox school, so we entered public school when I began 7th grade.
My class had a spelling competition, which I finished in second place because I failed to correctly spell “experience”. A WASP member of my class, named Robert Farnsworth, chose to use this event to conduct a campaign of belittlement against me.
My father and his friends, one of whom taught me to swim and to box, and my best friend who taught me judo, counseled me to fight him. Yet, I hesitated……
This continued year after year, at first in middle school, and later in High School, until…..
One afternoon walking home from my junior year classes, Robert accosted me as I crossed an alley.
I set down my books, and confronted him. As Mike Lengyel, the boxer taught me…. I landed a right cross square on his nose. He reeled back, then charged in…
Each time he came close enough, I landed punch after punch square on his nose….
The cops came….. they ordered me to leave…. I said;” I’m not leaving, he started this, and he’s leaving”
Robert came in time after time, and I landed punch after punch, until…..
He scrambled up for the last time and ran away….
Russia, held off until she could defend herself against NATO financial agression, and found China to cover her back, and Iran to cover her belly.
Whether she has finally had enough, I cannot say…. But, if she confronts NATO, I believe we will witness the member countries charging for the exits…. As bullies they are…. with the UK fighting for first place among the cowards….
It’s one thing to bully a passive opponent, quite another, to stand and deliver when the blows come….
The US just sent at least 6 F-15s from Germany to Poland. I wonder what the Polish ambassador thought when Lavrov informed him that should just one… cross the frontier, all bets are off… and all NATO bases and forces in Poland will be destroyed together with Polish GRID, pipelines, bridges, etc….
We live in interesting times…
INDY
Indy, can you please supply the link for the information you presented regarding what Lavrov told the Polish Ambassador? I would like to pass that on to colleagues here in the news-starved West. thanks
UK falling over themselves to align with US. This is at best trying to justify place in world pecking order but failing humanity miserably

Not COVID-19 in endangering mankind, the USA are threatening Peace in our world.
Perhaps it’s just the national history of poverty and of being passed around like an unwanted prostitute, but Ukraine wears the humiliation of simply being a proxy of the West, pushed to the front lines of global conflict, very well; like a discarded, stained and torn stole retrieved from a dumpster that just happens to fit perfectly.
The brave Ukros deeply yearned for European values and, boy, did they get European values!
They were ecstatic back in 2013/2014, especially when they were honoured by the very physical presence of Zionazi Officialdom bringing eatables to the faithful. Must have felt like the second coming of Jesus (or maybe Bandera).
It’s both interesting and revealing to compare Bandernazi Ukraine and Yeltsin’s Russia. Same gut-wrenching liberal hell and squalor; yet Russia didn’t go Nazi but put a happy end to the nightmare. The rest is history.
First, they got cookies from Uncle $am, closely followed by chaos. Absolutely no surprise there.

And in the corner of the mirror-circus is Navalny, greedily lapping at NATO boots to replenish the nutrition he has deprived himself of. Will he kill himself for The Agenda, or will MI6 have to finish the job they started in the airport?
Putting speech will be the the litmus test for which way Nato, Eu, USA will jump.
I feel that Putin will speak on the completion of Ns2 pipeline. Will then talk on the attempted assignation of Lukashenko and of the west’s involvement. And on Ukraine. Wherein he will outline that Nato, usa remove all personal immediately, as it contravenes Minks. That Ukraine desist from its incursions. And that it will inform the UN according to its rulings. Us, Nato are illegal in their involvement and that should they not withdraw Russia will move its troops to the conflict line to protect its citizens and should any Russian soldier be injured in this then all bets are of.
In essence Putin gives the West a red line punch from which they will be shown to be weak, and Russia will be quite prepared to take the fallout of media howling.
It will be a political punch which they will not expect.
The gloves will be off.
Sounds like a grand plan to me Stan…I mean Pat!

Israel wants to precipitate nuclear war between CHRISTIAN Russia and what is left of the CHRISTIAN West.
That would leave Israel as the last nuclear SuperPower and go a long way to fulfilling Israel’s dream of World Conquest.
Israel has hated CHRIST for 2,000 years
You know what I read all of these mostly Anti “Western” narratives with curiosity.
Do you really think that any of the majors powers (US/NATO, China, Russia) give a rats ass about you or your lives?
Do you think a world ruled by Russian and China would be more beneficial for you? All of them are power hungry and are supported/controlled by their rich masters (not you and I or any regular Russian or Chinese citizen).
As a citizen of a low/mid power puppet nation (Canada) I can tell you we don’t want to be involved again in another World War. We don’t want to have to build another 1,000,000 person military again to fight Russian or China.
Really wish all of these major powers could come to their senses. A World War is horrible, a World War with wide availability of Nuclear Weapons is the definition of insanity!
