Standing idly by then has not saved Serbia from being bombed by NATO later. Even though Serbia/Yugoslavia was an imporant Western ally during WW1, WW2 and the Cold War. It does not matter how a country behaves when the US empire decides to destroy it. The Russian people should keep that in mind.
By the way, ukrainian fascists and the ustashe were allies in the CIA-funded “Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations”. Nazi war criminals were always part of the “Western community of values”. The only thing that has changed is that NATO is supporting them openly.
I do not see the Russian ambassador to the UN tabling reports on the crimes and atrocities committed by the Kiev junta against the people in Eastern Ukraine and that Russia reserves the right to prevent these crimes nor did Lavrov gave recent press conferences on the same. Churkin can try the trick of imposing a no-fly zone but this will be vetoed but at least it will expose the hypocrisy of the great satan and his gang.
Even reports in RT.com and the Voice of Russia have been toned down with the exception of John Robles and there is not even a hint of Russian intervention. This is very disturbing as it encourages the continuing slaughter. Perhaps, Putin’s knee has turned jelly or he is under great pressure from his oligarchs whose fortunes are being threatened by sanctions and military conflict. But Putin can sanction Poroshenko’s chocolate business in Russia !!
Russia has to face, alone, the great satan and his gang and since the Russo-Sino get-together is still too loose to handle major military conflicts, Putin maybe postponing the conflict to a future date with US/NATO missiles at the Ukrainian border and consequent nuclear war with Russia being the loser.
The poor peope of Eastern Ukraine who are Russians are now the sacrificial lamb. May some divine force save them.

‘Sign of aggression’: Ten NATO countries start war games in
U.S. army paratroopers attend opening ceremony of NATO military exercise “Saber Strike” in Adazi
A major military exercise kicked off in Latvia, with 10 NATO member countries participating. The war games involve 4,700 troops and 800 military vehicles. Russia sees NATO’s military build-up as a sign of aggression.
The Saber Strike ground forces exercise is being conducted for the fourth time this year and coincides with Baltic Host 2014 and Baltops 2014 naval drills.
Troops from the US, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Norway and the UK are taking part.
The two-week exercise is hosted by the three Baltic States, although some parts will be conducted in Germany.
For Latvia, where the opening ceremony was held, it’s the biggest NATO military drill since its accession to the alliance in 2004, the country’s defense ministry said Monday in a statement. The ceremony was crowned with a US strategic bomber B-52 flyover.
The exercise comes amid high tension between NATO and Russia over the Ukrainian political crisis. The alliance ramped up its presence in Russia’s neighborhood, claiming that it is a response toward Moscow’s aggressive stance.

Russia says NATO’s actions are provocative and is taking measures to balance the shift in military power.
“We can’t take this military buildup by the alliance next to Russia’s borders as anything but a demonstration of hostile intention. The deployment of extra NATO troops in Central and Eastern Europe, even on a rotational basis” is a violation of Russia’s agreements with the alliance, Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov said Monday.
“Of course we won’t stand idly and watch the militarization of the countries in our neighborhood and will take all necessary political and military measures to ensure our security,” the diplomat told Interfax.
Yes it’s a pity that Russia is not helping. Yes what I remember that Stalin has to wait so that Russia do not have attacks on two fronts. I guess something must be going through the higher echelon in Russia and especially The president Of Russia(VVP).Indeed, a slight mistake can make or break the country for years to come. Rebuilding a country takes years and he tried to build a country from scratch for last 16 years. Will he have to do that again? He does not want to be registered on the wrong side in the annals of history. He witnessed the suffering of Russian citizens in his own eyes and tried to improve as much as he could and still trying. In WW2 Russia was in direct threat to annihilation. Now a direct threat will have in 10 year or at least five after missile defense/Offence. What will he do? I am sure he must be scratching head. Indeed stakes are too high. But he has broader perspective in his mind. he wants to decrease the role of dollar. But I am angry why soviet union let that happen? God forbid, No one will be in that position what he is, in foreseeable future. I once wrote it is the leaders (politically and/or religious)that can influence followers to a large scale. Remember “JIHAD”? Really walking on a thin sword to say the least. A head of state who really cares for citizens in contrast to cannon fodder like some puppet head of state, yes it is a very difficult question. But a decision must be made. At what Cost? Only time will tell…..

Now we have almost too many recruits, but we have neither weapons, nor shoes, nor uniforms to equip them and to put them into action. The assistance that now comes from Russia WAS NEEDED A MONTH AGO. AT THAT TIME, IT COULD HAVE BROUGHT US SIGNIFICANT SUCCESS. As things stand now, this assistance is barely allowing us to stand our ground, but gives us no chance to turn the tide in our favour. We have nothing, everything is delayed by not just days, but weeks
So… it seems the locals *are* finally stepping up, but Russia is dragging its feet.
Ok. bear with me on this one please. Putin by nature is not a shoe thumper and he will exhaust all diplomatic possibilities and then he will act. It doesn’t matter that they are lying to him–he well knows this. Also, I am informed that there are factors that are not available for public perusal which will be revealed in time. Putin’s military response is no problem…the political is the deciding factor so watch it carefully.
Please dont panic. Situation is not desperate. This is just a game,Poroshenko will try to ease tensions down,he is also affraid of the radicals in goverment,Timoshenko is just waiting for his wrong step to take control. You heard Strelkov – they can not enter Slavyansk, just fire from the distance. If this escalate I dont see how the RS and NG can win.Russia plays much bigger game here, whole Europe is at stake, few hundred, thousand lives is nothing compared to the big aim.NATO will not commit anything,if it does it will be the end of NATO.

Those comments belong to Strelkov, yes. But you need to take into account Strelkov’s writing style. He is rather prone to “All is lost, we are going to die!” rhetoric. Usually things turn out not to be half as bad. Otherwise he and his people would have been defeated several times over. These last comments seem to be meant to prod someone into doing something. Same as his famous video address that he refers to.
Strelkov has always been anti-Kremlin and radical in his views. He is a monarchist and a kind of “pro-Empire” Russian nationalist. There is a lot of writing material by him on the internet for the past 15 years at least. He softened towards Putin slightly because of Crimea, but that seems now gone after Putin’s inaction so far in the Donbass. In fact, most of the Russian volunteers now in the Donbass are not ardent Putin supporters. There are quite a few Russian nationalists, for example, who do not like Putin because they consider that his government policies are disadvantageous to ethnic Russians and that too many preferences are given to minorities such as those from the Caucasus.
Maybe Moscow should relieve Strelkov and put someone in that Putin and Lavrov can stand by Clearly the east is a hot front and will only see further population flight Putin should at least enable the east fighters to knock down the Uke jets and helicopters this airforce is already on life support with its worn out equipment It would be a big hit if the Ukraine airbases could be attacked and force kiev to keep pilots and maint on bases So they have no life….

At lest one good thing with waiting, All Nazi Guard are gathered together if RF chose to act.
If RF chose not act, then RF will lose more men, and fight a unconventional war with those guards in not too distant future, and it will not be on NOVOROSSIA land either.
When I heard that Brussels had twisted the arm of the Bulgarian government to suspend work on the south stream pipeline my immediate reaction was that don’t the fools in Brussels know they were cutting off their noses to please America ? This has been a general source of bewilderment for me since the whole Ukraine crisis began, how the so called “leaders” of the EU have consistently time and again acted against their own interests to follow the American line. And these are supposedly intelligent people with whole armies of advisers. But then it occurred to me, are they really indeed acting against their own interests ? I think not if you consider the fact that their interests have absolutely nothing in common with the interests of their general population. In short the EU “leaders” do not represent their own citizens. The entire “west” has been hijacked by a cabal of like minded individuals in positions of power who only represent the interests of the 1%. In short these people are traitors to their own countries.
Putin has spent considerable time and effort building up the power and status of Russia over the past decade.I´m afraid putting all that to risk is maybe not worth it for intervening militarily in East Ukraine.

Could not be said better.
Also, what would Putin want Strelkov to say? Ask youself that question. It seems to me that if Putin had written a script for Strelkov, it would have been what he actually said.
Always think about what Putin would want someone to say. I am definitely not saying that Strelkov is not telling the truth. Without question he is telling the truth. But it is the truth Putin wishes him to say.
The hegemon desperately needs war. That is true also.
“Putin has spent considerable time and effort building up the power and status of Russia over the past decade.I´m afraid putting all that to risk is maybe not worth it for intervening militarily in East Ukraine.”
That is what really on you mind, isn’t it? Then wait for 1 or two years for National Guard to pay visit at Moscow with sniper rifle. That will bring a lot prestige to RF, and its people.

These are the people running the Ukraine. When I see right sector people marching they look like teenagers. Their handlers are grown men but with the mentality of teenagers and the top boss Poroshenko the leader of all the oligarchs (mob bosses) of Ukraine.
The following video which I lifted from a previous poster shows the state of Ukraine. The mob boss being saluted by one of his teenage followers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0497yPjO8uY
Putin lays out his approach if you listen. I seem to remember him referring to a KGB officer in Afghanistan who counted his successes by the number of missiles he didn’t launch. In other words:
“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”
Now people often quote a chess / checkers analogue for Putin / Obama. I prefer the judo / golf analogue. Give his judo prowess, Putin will well be able to “Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.”
And for some light relief, for The Saker and Juan. Here is a video showing the capabilities of a Uke mortar team. Some of the crew look familiar – possibly at Maidan?
So how would one get over to strelkos command to do some reporting or slavyansk from Europe via Russia as an amateur reporter. Any contacts, suggestions ideas without having KIEV National Nazi guards waiting for an adventurous traveller?
He is a Russian nationalist, a heir of the White Guard. He has had very tough words against the current Russian regime years before this whole mess started in Ukraine.
Same is true about Goubarev, he was a member of the Barkashov’s Russian National Unity when he was young.
And then DPR threteaned to nationalize Akhmetovo’s whealth.
How do you think Russian oligarchs were going to react ?
No one has dismissed the “Class solidarity” yet.
This is why they gonna use Ukrainian right wing militants to kill Russian right and left (the so-called Red-Browns) wing militants.
And of course scores of innocent civilians gonna unfortunatelly get killed as “collateral damage”.
And then Ukrainian oligarchs gonna invite their Russian colleagues to drink Dom Pérignon.
There’s no honor among thieves and business is business…
This video is a collage of several interviews with Strelkov done at different times, I believe.
No. It’s just different camera angles all in the same room. One he is standing to the right of the door, one he is showing us the map on the wall to the left of the door. The rest is sitting at the desk, some are close ups, some wider. Look at the wide shot at 8:35, you can see most of the room.
It’s all in the same room, he’s wearing the same black shirt under his coat and he has the exact same bump and wave in the front of his hair…
Strelkov said “Now we have almost too many recruits, but we have neither weapons, nor shoes, nor uniforms to equip them and to put them into action”
While I understand longing for more Russian aid, why doesn’t Strelkov come up with a Plan B? You know, like the adage “God helps those that help themselves”
I guess Strelkov never heard of the Volodarsky salt mine that’s right under his feet. There’s over 1 million firearms such as SKS’, AK47’s, etc., just sitting there.
So what’s Strelkov’s excuse for not taking advantage of this huge weapons depot????

The question is how to get rid of the heads of the snake, instead of the it’s tail, c.q. the army?
Every day without war is the fading of the hegemon.

It’s a pity one can not download this clip to distribute it to the (Dutch)media, or other important channels that in no way are to convinced to watch this interview with Strelkov on the ultra slow website of RuTube. We could help, but then the producer of this clip on RuTube shouldn’t assume that his name – in the middle of Strelkov’s face – and rights are more important than an easy and massively distribution of this site of the narrative. Grrrr… how bad capitalist’s behavior inspires stupid people.
Lugansk forces capture 3 Ukrainian tanks
Yessss.
You’re the CIA Station Chief in Kiev. What do you want?
1) Continued killing of civilians until Russia intervenes… opening the door to NATO bombing.
2) No “Western” news coverage of civilian killing or Ukrainian incompetence.
If 1) is impossible, then a “Separatist” victory… opening the door to NATO bombing (to help poor Ukraine).
Saker, am I wrong?
These are the people running the Ukraine. When I see right sector people marching they look like teenagers. Their handlers are grown men but with the mentality of teenagers and the top boss Poroshenko the leader of all the oligarchs (mob bosses) of Ukraine.
The following video which I lifted from a previous poster shows the state of Ukraine. The mob boss being saluted by one of his teenage followers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0497yPjO8uY

For a different hosting of the interview, have a look here:

Thanx!
So Russia moves?
Send in the Cavalry, air, ground, the whole cast.
proactive or ultimatum?
So how would one get over to strelkos command to do some reporting or slavyansk from Europe via Russia as an amateur reporter.
Any contacts, suggestions ideas without having KIEV National Nazi guards waiting for an adventurous traveller?
Just curious if it is still possible
This video is a collage of several interviews with Strelkov done at different times, I believe.
Russia ain’t halping?
Told you so guys!
Strelkov has never been Putin’s man.

Just my two cents.
Let me get this straight:
Meezer
Meezer, could it possible that he can not reach it because he is besieged?
