The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies are developing momentum against ISIS north and east of Deir Ezzor city.
Government forces have secured the al-Siyasah bridge and further advanced to tighten the siege on ISIS units inside the northern part of Deir Ezzor. Separately, the SAA Tiger Forces captured Balum, Balout, the Electrical sub station, the Taybah school and other points in al-Mayadin city.
Local sources report that the Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces are actively bombing ISIS targets across the entire Deir Ezzor countryside.
On October 11, 40 members of the US-backed militant group, Ahmad al-Abdo Forces, surrendered to the SAA in southeastern Syria. The militants, including their commander Abu Dujana, had been deployed within US-led coalition forces at the at-Tanf garrison.
The militants reportedly handed over their weapons to the SAA and provided info about US forces in at-Tanf. In turn, they got a free passage towards Eastern Qalamun area mostly controlled by Jaish al-Islam branch that has a ceasefire deal with government forces.
Pro-government experts believe that more defections from the US-controlled at-Tanf base is expected in the near future because it lost all its strategic value when the SAA reached the border with Iraq north of it and reached Deir Ezzor city.
On October 12, clashes continued between the SAA and ISIS near al-Qaryatayn city. Earlier, government forces retook from ISIS an area south of the city and secured all hills overlooking it.
An SAA operation to take back al-Qaryatayn is expected soon.
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have further advanced at the ash-Shaddaday-al-Busayran road and seized Muwayli and Kabbar villages. As soon as the US-backed force secures the entire road, it will be able to storm al-Busayran itself and to develop momentum in the direction of the Omar oil fields.
In Raqqah city, negotiations continued between US-backed forces and ISIS over terms and conditions of possible withdrawal deal for the terrorist group’s members, according to pro-opposition sources. Separately, a fighting was ongoing near the national hospital in the city center.
If the sides reach no deal, the battle for Raqqah will continue with renewed vigour.
I continue to wonder if the SAA is going to challenge the SDF/US forces for control of the oil fields that the SDF.US have occupied. There was a lot of writing about this a couple weeks ago, which seemed to culminate in the story of the bridge being built across the Euphrates that could accommodate a huge number of vehicles, etc. The story was given a great deal of importance seemingly because of the threat of imminent conflict between US and Russian forces supporting the opposing sides.
But since then, it seemed like that story dropped off the map. Is that because the SAA became preoccupied with diversionary attacks (directed by US intelligence) in their rear? Or has the SAA stopped moving towards conflict with the occupied areas? Is conflict still imminent? Or have I missed some reports?
I would appreciate any kind of update, since obviously we don’t get that kind of real news in US MSM.
Well I have been wondering about exactly that for some time, noticing that whilst the SAA were eradicating the terrorists west of the Euphrates, in the east the US had built 12 military bases and amassed a huge rag tag army of forces with Israel also playing a part and the Kurdistan theme being pushed.
The US has shown no qualms about bombing the Syrian military and it’s planes routinely carry out murderous air raids on civilian targets especially east of the Euphrates . Yet no one ever shoots at them. Would ww3 follow if an American bomber was shot down? That’s certainly what the US wants everybody to think.
The US has made it obvious they plan to remain occupying eastern Syria and prevent re-unification of the country.
What will the Syrians do about that?
They certainly have their hands full with the terrorists in various places, but sooner or later this issue will have to be confronted.
Get the American military out of Syria and the war would be almost over.
But how?
Perimetr,
SAA & friends are letting the Kurds go for the oil fields, spreading themselves thin.
Then SAA & friends can retake all other more important areas,
while Kurds will be sitting stupid on the oil fields. What is yellow on the maps is not
really yellow at all (guarded by sufficient men that is).
Once SAA and Russia have the Dez secured enough for the airport to be secure and reliable then the clock starts ticking for regaining control of the oil fields. No reason to escalate until a proper/secure airbase is reestablished.
If SDF fights SAA, they are legitimate targets same as ISIS. Syria has every right to fight to maintain control of their internationally recognized territory. Assad’s government is still the only internationally recognized legitimate government in Syria, despite the West’s propaganda program.
Looks like the US forces are facilitating the extrication of ISIS members and war criminals from the decimated battlefields of their genocidal war on Syria and the Syrian people. Unilaterally !.
If ISIS (and its puppet-masters) can escape justice….there is no law, nor any security or collective security among nations. ISIS can re-emerge elsewhere.
The so-called ‘United Nations’ should dissolve itself having become a mere shopfront for the imperial hedgemon and its’ partners …in London, NATO, Tel Aviv and Riyadh.
A credible UN is needed; a more democratic, principled, unbiased and effective global authority. And ISIS and its sponsors should face trial in Syria. Including the US and NATO.
I wanted to make a moderate comment about the US forces in Syria
Enabling ISIS to escape from the scene of their genocidal war crimes
And to evade justice
And perhaps re-emerge in the future
But its impossible to be moderate about it.
@JosephGlynn. There are hyped genocides and almost buried genocides. Witness this announcement by Andre Vltchek — almost buried in tiny alternative websites like Off-Guardian: “On September 30th, 1965, the Indonesian military obeying orders from foreign powers (mainly the US and the UK), overthrew the progressive and anti-imperialist government of President Sukarno, murdering between 1 and 3 million men, women and children …”
interestingly enough Egypt is now settling de-escalation zones in Syria…………

Over 1,000 Terrorists Have Crossed Iraqi Border to Syria – Russian MoD
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201710131058206858-terrorists-syria-iraq/
“More than 1,000 terrorists have entered the territory of Syria from the two provinces of Iraq where the US-led coalition is carrying out its anti-Daesh operation, the Russian General Staff has said.
Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff Col. Gen. Sergey Rudskoy reported that terrorists have taken tanks, equipment and artillery rocket systems with them while coming to Syria from the provinces of Al Anbar and Nineveh.
Rudskoy stressed that that some 450 terrorists have carried out an attack on the Syrian armed forces from the area near al Tanf that is controlled by the US forces. He added that the attack was suscccessfully repelled by the Syrian armed forces.

How the US ‘Steers Clear’ From Accusations of Supplying Arms to Terrorists
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201710131058201591-us-weapons-syria-terrorists/
“Most of the weaponry, the ministry said, had been manufactured in the US or by its allies, including Belgium and France.
Daesh and al-Nusra Front terrorists were supplied with rockets, rifles, machine guns, anti-air weapons and even tanks.
“In particular, we had seen US-made TOWs (tube-launched, optically-tracked, wire-guided) heavy anti-tank missiles operating in Syria. Besides, during their clashes with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the southeast of Turkey, the Turkish Armed Forces had captured an M4 assault rifle, which had a serial number on it. While viewing the footage of the arms confiscated from Daesh, I’ve noticed that it had the same serial numbers,” he said.
The expert explained that there is a very thorough registration of the Western-made weaponry that had been confiscated from terrorists, which proves from where they get their support and which clearly shows that various American structures direct and control radical groups in the region.
“There is a hybrid war going on there. Hence it is of no surprise that the weapons and ammunition, which are being used in this war, come to light time and again. There is one more trick: We see how the US is supplying not only self-manufactured arms, but also Russian-made weaponry, using different channels,” Abdullah Agar told Sputnik.
Erdogan Karakus, retired Lt. Gen. of the Turkish Air Force and chairman of the Turkish Union of Retired Officers, told Sputnik that about seven or eight years ago the US announced that up to 300,000 units of US-made weaponry had disappeared in Iraq.
It did so to be able to steer clear from any accusations of supplying arms to terrorists. As the result, it is now able to claim that the US-made weapons, which have been confiscated from militants, are those that had been “lost” in Iraq.”
hopefully…now proven these are terrrorists attacking SAA…they will have been tracked……and a few Kalibr will await them on their regrouping……..wherever they are9(ncluding usa controlled areas)…..as recent posts from Mod MFA etc seem to be more strident in exposing Isis-usa “connections”….
The question concerning ISIS occupying Syrian oil fields is similar to the Iraqi Kurds occupying oil fields: How do they sell their oil? Turk leader Erdogan has said it only takes one finger for him to halt all oil flows from northern Iraq. I wonder if this is a similar situation in Syria regarding ISIS’ control of oil.
The Syrian Free Army (FSA) is a Turkish proxy army. The Syrian Democratic Army is an American proxy army. I can’t see the two proxies joining together in opposition to the Syrian governments Syrian Arab Army (SAA). And the SAA has incredible allies, the likes of Hezbollah, Iran and Russia, and others I would imagine.
As one member noted, once the air-base outside of Deir al-Ezzor is secure and functioning, along with the recently occupied al-Sisiyah bridge, the SAA will have formed a “cauldron” containing the remaining ISIS forces in Syria that are west of the Euphrates River.
The Syrian Arab Army and its allies have developed a momentum that is overwhelming all opposing forces. It is an incredible victory. What Syria has achieved goes beyond “winning” a war, it has brought unity to much of the Arab world. Along with Hezbollah, Iran and Russia, Syria has shown that true independence from the colonialists can be achieved.
The largest investors in Iraqi Kurdistan are Russian oil companies. They export their product via Turkey, and are therefore the main economic supporters of Kurdistan, hence the recent hurried visit of Putin to Turkey when Erdogan threatened to stop the flow of oil — which would disrupt the Kurdish authority headed by long time CIA asset Barzani, in the wake of the recent independence vote.
Partners are ‘partnering,’ and dividing the spoils.

Do you have any non zionazi sources to support that that propaganda?
