Russian MoD: UK Not Providing Aid to Aleppo, Must Refrain From Sabotaging Help
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201612031048120487-russia-uk-syria-aleppo-help/
“Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said that the claims of UK Prime Minister Theresa May regarding Russia’s alleged interference in humanitarian aid supplies in Syria’s Aleppo are groundless and Britain should stop getting in the way of Russia supplying aid to Syria, especially since it does not supply any aid of its own.”
When will brits get tired of having themselves and their nation humiliated by israeli quislings?
From the “gee, let’s be obvious dept.”
Syrian Opposition Group Asks Israel to Help Topple Assad
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201612021048112692-syrian-opposition-israel-alliance/
“An obscure Syrian opposition group of unclear origin called Israel to help them overthrow the Syrian government.
The lawyer insisted that such statement couldn’t have been issued by a Syrian citizen because it contradicts the interests of the Syrian people who support Palestinians in their struggle with Israel and would never betray them.”
Another mossad op, no doubt. This is further evidence israel, already heavily involved in running the terrorists covertly, is working up the psywar/prop to justify an overt involvement. Perhaps even open war on Syria.
Another israeli gofer bites the dust.
Head of ISIS ‘branch’ in Russia’s N. Caucasus killed in special police op – FSB
https://www.rt.com/news/369124-caucasus-isis-leader-killed-fsb/
“Aselderov and four other militants were found hiding out in a house in the village. After the hideout was surrounded, the police started negotiations and asked the militants to surrender. In response, the terrorists fired automatic weapons and were killed by return fire. None of the officers taking part in the operation were injured.”
Perhaps the netanyahoo boy botherer will declare an official israeli day of mourning for these terrorists?
Broken telephone: US-Russia emergency hotline put Moscow on hold as US bombed Syrian Army
https://www.rt.com/op-edge/369096-moscow-calling-syrian-army-pentagon/
“I can only imagine what kind of messages the Russians would have heard on the Pentagon answering machine:
– ‘If you are calling about an accidental attack on a non oil-producing country, please press 1’
– ‘If you are calling about an accidental attack on a wedding party, please press 2’
– ‘If you are calling about an accidental attack on a hospital, please press 3’
– ‘If you would like to speak to a live person, please hold the line and the next available attendant will assist you.”
It is not a broken telephone, but a broken soul, or more accurately, no soul at all. It is obvious the pindo’s waited till they got word the attacks were done, then answered and stopped it.
Looks like the SAA will have the various US, Turkish, and Saudi sponsored terror groups in Aleppo finished off for all practical purposes by year end, and will be able to free up significant numbers of soldiers now battling in Aleppo to either recover Racca or push the terrorists to the north and west of Aleppo toward the Turkish border, whence they came. I would think the latter objective would be the priority. Get the whole city of Aleppo out of artillery and rocket range so stability and reconstruction can begin. That will also attract Syrian refugees back if they are offered amnesty from being drafted and work rebuilding Aleppo and other recovered towns.
The whole situation reminds me of Stalingrad at about this time in 1942. The 6th Army was encircled and being reduced while the encircling ring was being expanded westward, forcing the Germans back and making any hope of breaking out the remaining troops in the cauldron less feasible by the day. Once the last survivors surrendered, the Russian troops surrounding them were able to push south toward Rostov, cutting off the last hope of the Germans to get access to the Baku oilfields as Hoth’s 4th Army beat a hasty retreat toward Kharkov. It would be another 2-1/2 years before the Red Flag was raised over the Reichstag, but the Germans never won another battle.
Stalingrad lasted 6 months. The Battle of Aleppo has been going on for over 4 years! My heart goes out to the hero’s of the SAA who have kept the faith in their secular democratic state through the dark days before the small Russian air force tipped the scales against the marauding invaders. May they and their Hezbollah and Iranian comrades live to see the last of the US sponsored criminals driven off their land, and finally enjoy a well deserved peace.
Incidentally, less than 6 months after the last remnants of the 6th Army surrendered, the first T-34 rolled off the assembly line in the rebuilt Stalingrad Tractor Works and the Steel Mill was back in operation, rebuilt from rubble with contributions from the whole USSR. China has so far stayed out of the war to save Syria. Helping reconstruct Aleppo would be the perfect opportunity for them to asymmetrically hit back at Uncle Sam for harassing them in the South China Sea while gaining respect and goodwill throughout the Middle East by way of humanitarian aid.
