Binali YildirimTurkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim on Monday urged world powers including Iran, Russia and the United States to join together to rapidly open a new page in the Syria crisis.
Yildirim added that it was “absolutely unacceptable” for any Kurdish entity to be established in northern Syria, or any other region.
“In fact this is something that Syrians themselves would find unacceptable,” he said.
Yildirim refused to be drawn about movement on the Turkish-Syrian border for a possible Jarablus operation.
The Kurds have been supported and armed by the Syrian army and Russia and they have now decided to attack the SAA!!
It doesn’t make sense unless they are being supported by the U.S. to act in this way as it essentially breaks up Syria.
The territorial integrity of Syria is part of the UN resolution.
Turkey won’t accept it – and this may be what makes them throw their lot in with the Syrian govt.
we shall see how this develops
Syrian anti-aircraft missile batteries – I wonder how good they are? If they shoot down US aircraft it would be an act that would be liable to create an uncontrolled result. Bad. But then if things keep going the way they’re going, then things are liable to get to where they’re going – into the abyss. Seen that way there has to be some critical event…like the archduke story – so I guess it does not matter. They will shoot or not…
Not likely as impressive as it sounds.
with all the sultan’s purges everywhere all the way up the rank structure & chain of command since July 15, and all the holes to fill, this guy just last month was probably some new hire assistant janitor 2nd class.

Turkey’s MIT Deputy Chief Visits Syria
TEHRAN (FNA)- Turkey’s National Intelligence Agency (MIT) Chief Hakan Fidan has sent one of its deputies to Damascus for talks with the Syrian officials on the latest developments in the Northern parts of the Arab country, Arab media outlets reported on Monday.
Al-Safir newspaper quoted informed sources as saying that one of Fidan’s deputies arrived in Damascus on Sunday to meet with the high-ranking Syrian security officials on the latest developments in Northern Syria. http://en.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13950601001196

Admittedly, US forces are not in Syria to fight ISIL. They are there – without legal authorisation from the United Nations – to regime change and partition Syria as per the “Joe Biden Plan”. They are eagerly trying to do this by supporting the so-called “moderate” rebels and Kurdish forces, having US Special Forces kill Iranians and Russians (as advocated by former acting CIA Director Michael Morell, “to make the Iranians pay a price in Syria”), bombing Damascus into submission, and/or getting into direct military confrontation with Russia.
It appears the Americans have found some new dupes to be used as a proxy force to possibly carve off enough Syrian territory through which to run Qatari gas to Europe. The Americans hope to level the battlefield by denying the RuAF and the SAAF the ability to protect or enhance operations by the SAA and friends against this new military front/threat The question to be answered is what will be the response of the Syrian government and her Russian,Iranian, Hezbollah and now Chinese allies? You can bet Erdogan is assessing which way he will go with Turk foreign-pipeline policy on this response. The Kurds are being sold their dream of a nation state but if that state should somehow materialize even partially who would that state align with, the American neo-liberal NWO or the Resistance Block? I imagine the calculations being considered with take some time to assess as to workability as backroom negotiations take place, this being a critical turn of events not unforeseen but now crucial to the Syrian situation.
