Modern 9K333 Verba man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADs) have been spotted at positions of the Russian military servicemen in the Eastern Ghouta region near Damascus. The MANPADs were reportedly deployed to protect checkpoints and observation posts established by the Russians from DIY combat drones as well as other threats from the air.
ISIS has reportedly started forceful conscription campaign for males from 20-yo to 30-yo in Deir Ezzor. The goal is to get enough manpower to fight the Syrian Arab Army and its allies in central Syria. The decision is another sign that ISIS faces significant problems in northeastern Palmyra and southern Raqqah and its defense may fall if the terrorist group does not get additional resources.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have reportedly established a joint operations room in order to coordinate efforts against ISIS in Deir Ezzor and Raqqa provinces as well as to improve the security situation in Aleppo province.
According to the Lebanese newspaper, Al-Akhbar, the operations room has already been established and this will be officially announced by the two parties soon. The so-called “Turkish threat” in northern Syria was the main reason behind the decision to boost the coordination between the two parties.
Turkey is allegedly ready to launch a large-scale military operation against Kurdish militias in the Afrin area. These Kurdish militias are a core of the SDF and now they seek to boost cooperation with the “Assad regime”. Another reason is tensions between the SDF and other US-backed groups of the Free Syrian Army.
Pro-government sources claimed that a joint operations room that include the SAA and the Manbij Military Council [Arab SDF faction] is currently being prepared in Al-Aryima area near Manbij. Thus, according various sources at least two operations room have been set up in different parts of northern Syria.
If reports are officially confirmed, it would be an important step in boosting cooperation between the two sides. Since the end of the battle of Aleppo, the SDF has decreased a level of the cooperation with the Syrian government and the SAA and directly followed the US approach aimed at indirectly undermining the government efforts against ISIS. However, these tensions have never reached the level when they cannot be solved via diplomatic means and some level of cooperation has been always existed.
In Raqqah city, the SDF has been clearing the remaining ISIS-held area in the southern part of the city. 26 ISIS members were reportedly killed in Hisham Bin Abdul Malik district. 9 other terrorists were killed and 2 VBIEDs were destroyed in Al-Rawdah district. ISIS claimed that 11 SDF fighters were killed the Al-Atiq Mosque in central Raqqah.
The SDF, supported by the US-led coalition’s airpower, artillery and special operations forces, have a upper hand in the battle for Raqqah. However, the ISIS strong has a strong defense inside the city.
Off topic but very important. The ‘Blackwater Four’, the group of American mercenaries responsible for one of the worst crimes against Humanity in Iraq after Blair’s invasion, have just been effectively ***pardoned*** by a US appeals court.
One day in Iraq, while posing as a security detail, these four decided to shoot up a street of innocent children, women, and men, for the fun of it. Many many Iraqi civilians were murdered. Far more were maimed for life. So agregeous was the atrocity, even the quisling Iraq ‘government’ was forced to demand action.
Years after 2007, a US court gave the four the lightest possible punishment given the gravity of their crime. But even so, senior US politicians, including Hillary Clinton, promised the families of the butchers that they shouldn’t worry because before any of them saw time in a prison cell, they’d ensure the convictions were thrown out.
Some may remember the My Lai atrocity in Vietnam. Few will know that the ***convicted*** American soldiers responsible for crimes worse than in any nazi death camp were all effectively pardoned in the end. They also got a ‘for show’ trial, and a slap-on-the-wrist conviction. But in the following years an appeals process that was mostly out of the press ensured none served any significant time in prison. And a couple of years after the original trial, the status of almost all of the soldiers was ***fully pardoned***.
The mercenaries that operated in Iraq were all given complete immunity in Iraq- an immunity Russia voted to support in the UN at the time (go Google it). So the Blackwater butchers could not be even arrested by Iraqi authorities after the massacre. Iraq kicked up a stink, tho- forcing the US authorities to consider prosecuting the mercenaries under US laws.
Had the Blackwater butchers originated from Africa, or Asia or the Middle East or Israel, they wouldn’t have suffered any trial at all. Think about that- and then think about Russia (at the time) voting for the UN resolution on Iraq that granted this immunity- not just to the murdering invading soldiers- but to the murdering invading private mercenaries.
The evil in this world is real, and the worst of it resides in the Empire of the West- the same Empire Putin states again and again he wants to call ‘friend’ and ‘ally’ no matter how hard the West beats upon Russia. The mercenary invasion of Iraq was a new factor in the modern West’s war tactics- and Russia’s foolish support of the tactic in the UN led directly to the wahhabi invasion of Syria years later.
Once the modern West was faced with doing its own dirty work if it wanted a large scale military attack on a nation. A few days ago the new method was once again exposed in its full ugly form. An RT journalist was butchered by one of the tens of thousands of expensive wire guided missile systems gifted to the wahhabi terror gangs by the UK and USA.
Not only does the West get away with unthinkable crimes, but Putin actually agrees the West can never be held legally accountable. No sanctions for the West. No arrest of West criminals if and when they are outside their own Empire (contrast that with the treatment of Russians).
The neo-liberals and neo-cons (the Obama/Clinton/Blair faction and the Bush/McCain faction) will be rejoicing that they’ve finally got their Blackwater butchers off the hook. May and Merkel and Macron will be contacting their American colleagues to congratulate them on protecting their ‘own’.
America now defines a person in their homeland who fights against US invaders as a ‘criminal’ and/or terrorist. Russia never challenges this definition and abuse of war conventions. Even in WW2 the Russians, Germans, Japanese and allies recognised the status of fighters in invaded lands. Not now.
A British man whose only crime was driving an ambulance in Novorussia was given a prison term in a UK court that means he will spend more time in prison than that served by the soldiers responsible for My Lai and the mercenaries responsible for the holocaust in Iraq ***combined***. You thinks there’s hope because Russia is pushing the wahhabi terror gangs out of Syria in the ***short*** term?
When WW2 ended, it ***ended***. All sides signed treaties, and the conflict was 100% over. Who signs such treaties with Russia? Today, no-one. Who’ll sign a treaty over Syria- no-one? Who’ll sign a treaty over Ukraine? No-one. The West will wait Russia out, then as soon as possible go straight back to supporting the butchers with arms, men and funds.
Without respect, Russia can rely on no diplomatic convention. Without respect, Russia can make no safe deals of any kind. While you are told (fake news) that the EU doesn’t like the new US anti-Russian sanctions, the EU has just imposed loads of new sanctions on Russia over Crimea.
America,in its popular culture, states that the purpose of US military strength is to be able to take out any enemy- ***any*** enemy. The peace movements of the West, in place since WW2 thru to the 1980s, were ended once Tony Blair gained power. The warmongers of the West are no longer held in check by their populace.
America left to its own choices and methods will end the Human race. And today no-one even tries to hold the US accountable. The moral threads that ran through US society and opposed US militarism have been all unpicked. Sure there are lone voices still amongst the people, but they now just preach to the choir.
We need to turn all our energies to prevent the coming nuclear wars. And the first nuclear war will be the hundreds of ‘small’ nuclear warheads used against Iran in ‘shock and awe 3’ after the initial wave of conventional attacks goes awry. Remember how Blair bombed and bombed Serbia but got no-where in the ‘Kosovo’ War? Well America intends to justify nuclear strikes on Iran when Iran survives the first stage of the war, and dares to strike back at regional targets.
The irony is the Russian inspired clean-up in Iraq and Syria allows America to begin the fast track to the Iran war by demonising Iranian forces operating outside Iran. As soon as Putin declares “mission over” in Syria, the Iran war begins its very short countdown.
So as some of you cheer these reports from Syria- be aware they bring up closer to the day when America nukes Iran.
I’m curious.
What treaty did Germany sign?
The Russian Federation is a joke in Syria; it is clear by now that they are just representing the interests of Gazprom in that region (and not ordinary Syrians): after almost 2 years of direct military involvement, the Syrian Arab Republic no longer exists as a single entity (the Assad regime controls only 20% of the entire country while the rest is no man’s land)…a total fiasco indeed.
Putin’s “migty” arsenal in Syria hasn’t been able to deter Israel, America, Turkey, ISIS, SDF, etc to keep attacking government forces.
I always heard that Turkey’s biggest concern was the Kurds inside their country, and Kurds outside, who want to create a Kurdish state across Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
The article says that Turkey is now cooperating with Syria to combat Kurds.
So could someone explain why Turkey turned against Syria in the first place,– before Turkey collaborated with the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Syria was stabilized and the “Kurdish problem’ was far less obvious, at least in Syria.
I am guessing that the reason Turkey was against the 2003 Iraq war was because it would result in Iraqi Kurdish separatism, with spillover effects for Syrian and Turkish Kurds.
Plus, if the plan was to reincorporate Syrian territory to recreate the Ottoman Empire, what would Turkey get—more Kurds. I really have to wonder what leaders like Erdogan think.
The recent thaw between Erdoğan and Assad reflects Russia’s influence more than Ankara’s interests. Annexing northern Syria does not run directly contrary to Putin’s aims in Syria so long as Erdoğan does not run afoul of his staunch support for the Assad regime. So long as Assad sits in Damascus, Erdoğan may exercise latitude in northern Syria, with Putin’s permission.
The greatest impediment to Erdoğan’s advance on northern Syria remains the American commitment to the PYD fighters it has fostered over the years. Already a point of contention with Ankara, the TSK appears more content to strike first and fend off American ire later. The United States can continue to insist on its commitment to Kurdish fighters, but that will not stop Turkish soldiers from taking what shots they can, even at the risk of injuring American service members. Ultimately, Turkey is confident in the superiority of its position as a NATO member and its possession of Incirlik Air Base. Turkey remains critical to U.S. military operations in the Middle East and beyond, despite the undemocratic referendum result. Secure in that knowledge, Erdoğan will push the envelope as far as he can—all the way to Raqqa, perhaps.
What a stronger Erdogan means for China?
Anyone vaguely familiar with Turkey will know that it’s a geopolitical cauldron. The issues that buffet the leadership in Ankara will change swiftly, often on a week-to-week, or even day-to-day, basis. The speed and scale of the changes often manifest themselves in violence and war in Turkey’s contiguous regions.
Not surprisingly, the Turkey dossier in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China has been thickening. China also made some serious breakthroughs in Turkey’s high-speed railway. After more than US$1.2 billion and four years, the journey between Istanbul and Ankara now takes just four hours and costs a mere US$30, making it a much cheaper option than flying.
The line was Chinese-built. China has thus helped Turkey break an important physical barrier. Turkey now wants to add more high-speed railway tracks between its east and west. Some 97 per cent of Turkish land lies on the Asian side and 3 per cent on the European side, including Istanbul.
Partly as a recognition of Turkey’s unique status, it has been invited to join as an observer the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), a regional security group made up of Russia, China and four ex-Soviet Central Asian states. It has also joined the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, founded by China to finance its “Belt and Road Initiative”.
From issues verging on political Islam to security risks on the high seas, a strong president like Erdogan – made stronger after winning a constitutional referendum last week that will create an executive presidency – is well placed to collaborate in areas that may be beyond Beijing’s immediate grasp.
Turkey’s internal infrastructure has strengthened considerably to benefit China’s dream of weaving a cross-continental trading network. These include the Marmaray tunnel connecting the continents of Asia and Europe under the Bosphorus, which became operational in 2013. A rail route connecting Turkey’s east and west will link Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia and East Asia, which will help the rail connection between Beijing and London.
Understandably then, China has been trying to cultivate Erdogan for a long time. When he visited China in 2015 to meet President Xi Jinping, his plane was allowed to stop in Urumqi en route to Beijing as a mark of recognition for Turkey’s role in maintaining peace in the restive Xinjiang province.
The Turkish government encourages imams and religious leaders to persuade Uygur nationalists and secessionists to pledge their loyalty to China.
Now that was an well-informed, masterly expose. Cheers : )
US Coalition Reportedly Launches Strike With Phosphorus Bombs on Raqqa Hospital
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201708051056204809-coalition-phosphorus-bombs-raqqa/
“Deputy Director of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent “SARC” Branch in Raqqa Dina al-Asa’ad said as cited by Sana that the shelling of the National Hospital in Raqqa by the coalition with phosphorus bombs occured on Thursday night.
“The hospital was also shelled with more than 20 shells which targeted the electricity generators, the ambulances and a number of departments inside the hospital,” Sana reported citing al-Asa’ad.
According to the Red Crescent representative, the bombed Raqqa hospital provided services for over 100 people, while Daesh terrorist group has its own hospitals and private medical centers.
Al-Asa’ad emphazided that there were no terrorists in the Raqqa hospital targeted by the US-led coalition.
On Friday, Sana news agency reported that coalition warplanes struck Raqqa leaving a woman and 7 children dead.
Last week, Sana news agency reported several times that civilians were killed in US-led coalition’s strikes in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor.
The US-led coalition of 68 nations has been conducting airstrikes against Daesh terrorist group in Syria and Iraq since 2014. The strikes in Syria are not authorized by the government of President Bashar Assad or the UN Security Council.”
After Bombing Raqqa Hospital, Coalition Airstrikes Reportedly Kill 43 Civilians
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201708051056217110-raqqa-bombing-civilians-coalition/
“The aircraft of the US-led coalition carried out several airstrikes on the residential areas of the Syrian city of Raqqa leaving at least 43 civilians killed and others injured, Sana news agency reported Saturday.
The Syrian state-run Sana agency reported citing sources that the coalition airstrikes had also caused damage to the civilian infrastructure.
Earlier in the day, Sana reported citing the deputy head of the local brach of the Red Crescent. that the US-led coalition allegedly struck a Raqqa hospital used exclusively by civilians with banned phosphorus bombs.
Syrian media have repeatedly reported about the cases of the US-led coalition shelling of the civilian infrastructure objects leading to casualties.

Update:
ISIS’ Death Spiral.
“… ISIS resources constraint is a death spiral, since late 2016, irreversible. Adding cannon fodder won’t help them at all.
ISIS is about to be blocked in the HAMA/Homs pocket, less troops to manoeuvre, will lose access to dirty roads between T2 and Der ez Zor, while losing access to all north of DeZ Euphrates villages, at the end of the day ISIS will have only the lower Euphrates villages and a small part of Anbar to harvest forced recruitment, a small pool of resources and some with vivid memories of tribal slaughtering few years ago.
ISIS inability to take a logical decision to retreat from Hama/Homs about to be a pocket will only speed up its demise.”

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham Launches Attack in Northern Hama.
“… Al Qaeda terrorists just declared “harakiri” in Syria. Launched an offensive in northern Hama. They will now be targeted by Russia and Syria heavily. US regime can not say a word about it.
Turkish regime has supplied al Qaeda with supplies for this offensive for the past 2 weeks.”

ISIS’ Forced Enlistment & the Tribes’ Coming Revolt.
“… ISIS is low on ratpower, it has been downhill due to the campaigns in Iraq and Syria, most of all they are lowing desperately low in trained terrorists which were lost big time in Mosul, Raqqa and Palmyra in the past few months.
ISIS is now forcing enlistments to beef up their ranks, and the only populated area they have left and that they can try do that is the lower Euphrates, from Der ez Zor to Al Qaim in Iraq, all the remaining areas ISIS has under control are either pockets (Tal Afar, Hawija) or areas depopulated such as Hama, Nineveh and Homs.
ISIS main breeding area is still the lower Euphrates, it was created back in 2012-2014 on the banks of the Euphrates all the way to Fallujah.
The issue in forcing males from 15-30 yrs old to fight for ISIS in the lower Euphrates goes against some tribes that resisted ISIS, mostly in Syria, in one event back in 2015, hundreds of young men were assassinated by ISIS because the their tribes revolted against ISIS and raised the Syrian flag, this massacre is still in the mind of many elders and leaders.
With the advancing SAA and allied forces toward the Euphrates, the tribes are preparing to revolt, but timing is all, it is still not the right moment since the SAA and allies are not in a position to storm the lower Euphrates.
/
Unconfirmed: US Gathering Forces on Euphrates’ Left Bank.
“… Meanwhile, there are several reports of a new attempt by the US to gather forces to advance in the left banks of the Euphrates, with the excuse to help free Der ez Zor but clearly the intention is to control the most profitable oil fields in Syria which are located on the left banks and lower Euphrates, from Der ez Zor city to al Bukamal area.
This is all coming together, the only issue is that the Iraq Government bended to the US request that the PMU should not control the Syria-Iraq border in Nineveh and Anbar, thus delay the attack to al Qaim. And surprisingly, Moqtada al Sadr is criticizing the PMU recently, this is important since Moqtada has vocally spoken against President Bashar al Assad since 2011. Some backstage issues and internal power struggle among the Shias in Iraq are ongoing that will need much more info to be understood.”
Removed. Pls refer to Scott about this site. Thx. Mod
1) ISIS is heavily mining all over, delaying the SAA progress.
2) Lots of VBIEDs being used primarily to delay advances and “to kill as many soldiers as possible” type of events.

Idlib Safe Zone in Syria May Be Next After Homs Thanks to Russia-Egypt Efforts
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201708051056214047-idlib-safe-zone-homs/
“On Thursday, Syria’s Tomorrow said in a statement that the group had acted as a mediator in the negotiations on establishment of a de-escalation zone in the northern part of the Homs province. The statement added that the agreement on the zone creation was signed under the patronage of the Egyptian government and with the Russian Defense Ministry serving as a guarantor.
“I assume that the de-escalation in Idlib will be the next step. We will strive together with the efforts of Cairo and Russia to make Idlib the next stage of de-escalation,” Qassem Khatib said
Khatib added that the leader of Syria’s Tomorrow movement Ahmad Jarba would visit Moscow in the near future.”
Is the Expanding U.S. Military Presence in Syria Legal?
Washington has gone rogue.
http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/is-the-expanding-u-s-military-presence-in-syria-legal/
“Yet when questioned about the international law grounds for this U.S. military presence inside Syria, CENTCOM didn’t have a response on hand. They referred me to the Office of the Secretary of Defense whose spokesman obstinately cited U.S. domestic law—an issue quite irrelevant to Syrians. He, in turn, referred me to the White House and State Department on the international-law angle. The State Department sent me back to the Department of Defense, the White House pointed me in the direction of the National Security Council (NSC), and the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel blankly ignored my repeated requests.
The map of U.S. bases in Syria is confusing. For starters, it reveals that many of the US outposts—or “staging facilities”—are nowhere near ISIS-controlled areas. This has generated some legitimate suspicion about U.S. motives in Syria,
It appears that U.S. intentions may go beyond the stated objective of fighting terrorism in Syria—and that Washington’s goals are also territorial and political and seek to retain post-conflict zones of influence within the country: in the south, north, and along the Syrian-Iraqi border.
But it’s not only Syrian forces and military targets that have come under American fire. In a stream of letters to the UN Security Council this year, the Syrian government asserts U.S. air strikes have also “systematically” destroyed vital infrastructure and economic assets throughout the country for months, and complains that the attacks are “being carried out outside the framework of international legality.” The Syrians claim that these infrastructure targets include the Ghalban oil collection branch station, Umar oilfield, wells and facilities, electrical transformer stations, Tanak oil field and facilities, Izbah oil field and installations—all in Deir Ezzor governorate—a gas plant and bridges and structures of the Balikh Canal in Raqqa, buildings and facilities belonging to the General Establishment of Geology and Mineral Resources in Homs, Furat and Baath Dam facilities, the Euphrates Dam, the Tishrin Dam and their reservoirs, irrigation and power generation facilities, and many other vital sites across the country.
The Russians, Iranians, Hezbollah, and other allied Syrian forces are in Syria legally, at the invitation of the UN-recognized state authority. The United States and its coalition partners are not.
As ISIS and Al Qaeda are beaten back in Syria, the American conversation about what comes next is missing a most critical point. In terms of international law, Washington has gone rogue in Syria. Will the world take notice?”
A very decent article that covers a lot of ground, (the quotted parts above being only a small sample), without the usual anti Syrian, Russian, Iranian and Hezbollah propaganda. Hopefully, this being published in AC will bring the info to a lot of people who would otherwise remain ignorant of these facts.
Syrian Democratic Forces – what a joke – the States trademark – Democracy –
I thought SDF would stand for Syrian Defense Forces – and I thought it must be another part of the SAA – but not so – Syrian Democratic Forces – aligned with the US –
Anyway, its good news that there is going to be more cooperation between the SAA and SDemF
The States is such a joke – if it wasn’t so serious.
Kurds will work together with Syria thanks to Russian diplomacy. Together they will kick the Mongol Turks with their radical jihadists out of Syria.
Remember Cyprus, which Turkey still illegally occupies half of the country? Same thing will happen to North Syria if they arent pushed back.
Turkey already cut off a piece off Syria, Hatay province in case some people do not know about that.
Kurd’s frustration with the government comes from many things banned by the state which played with their pride and dignity.
One example: Imagine being a Kurdish family and a child gets born, u go to register your child a traditional Kurdish name and the state official telling u cannot name your child that name, he will not register it. Give it another name he tells u. U do another Kurdish name and again he refuses to register it. Until u give the baby a name the state offical agrees to (Usually an Arabic name).
That is playing with their honor and pride. Thats how their hatred and frustration grows. U just don’t do that, to no one.
Turks did the same by the way. Turks were even harsher, u went with a Kurdish name and the official thinked for a while and wrote down a Turkish name which resembled it without even asking.
PKK leader Ocalan promised Syria to never fight for Syrian land, or claim Syrian land for the Kurds. He was anti-imperialist, thats why CIA/Mossad caught him and handed him over to Turkey.
Please watch this old interview (2002) with Zhirinovsky about Kurds and learn something from it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PwmLXJAxOo
Also this speech of Khaddafi (God bless his soul) about Kurds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9O2-DMTmGuY
That is also one of the reasons why Turkey assisted NATO in destroying Libya and murdering Khaddafi. For the people that dont know there are alot of Turkic people/tribes in Libya and Turkey incited them all against the Libyan state.
Everything has its reasons and its roots. U have to trace something to the root to understand it’s problem.
Really?

Coalition’s Phosphorus Bombs’ Use ‘Blatant Violation of Int’l Law’ – Damascus
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201708061056234196-damascus-coalition-phosphorus-bombs/
“Damascus accused the US-led coalition of using banned phosphorus bombs and launching airstrikes on residential areas and hospitals, saying that it is a “blatant violation of international law.”
The Syrian Foreign Ministry sent letters to the UN secretary general and the UN Security Council, condemning the coalition’s strikes using banned weaponry on civilian infrastructure, while acting in Syria without the country’s government consent in violation of UN resolutions.
On Saturday, Syrian state news agency Sana reported citing the deputy head of the local brach of the Red Crescent. that the US-led coalition allegedly struck a Raqqa hospital used exclusively by civilians with banned phosphorus bombs.
“The systematic bombing of residential areas, houses of civilians, the destruction of the Raqqa state hospital and the use of banned white phosphorus by the aircraft of the international coalition are a blatant violation of international law and is among a number of coalition’s crimes against the innocent [civilians] in the provinces and cities of Syria,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Moreover, the Syrian Foreign Ministry urged the UNSC to fulfill its responsibilities to preserve peace and security and called on all countries to comply with Security Council resolutions on combating terrorism.
This was not the first time the US-led coalition used banned phosphorus bombs in Raqqa airstrikes.”
US Strikes Against Civilians in Syria: ‘Genocide’ Which ‘Strengthens Terrorism’
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201708061056234384-us-strikes-syria-genocide-terrorism/
At a meeting with Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis in Tehran, Shamkhani accused Washington of violating human rights and stressed that the coalition operates in the country without the consent of the Syrian government or the UN mandate.
“Referring to a high civilian death toll in Raqqah, Shamkhani said the US air raids amounted to genocide as American warplanes used banned weapons and ammunition in their attacks,” Press TV reported.
Shamkhani further stressed that Iran will continue to stand by Syria and keep supporting it until the crisis is over in the Middle Eastern state.
“Instead of fighting terrorist elements, Western countries and the US take suspicious measures in line with strengthening terrorism and worsening insecurity in the region,” Shamkhani said, warning that the harmful effects of such moves “will lead to the spread of terrorism in the world,” Press TV reported.
Last week, Damascus wrote to the United Nations, calling for the dissolution of a US-led coalition, which has been carrying out airstrikes in Syria for years.”
Israeli Minister Threatens to Close Al Jazeera’s Offices in Country
https://sputniknews.com/asia/201708061056235784-israel-al-jazeera/
“Israeli Communications Minister Ayoub Kara on Sunday announced his plans to close offices of the Qatari Al Jazeera broadcaster in the country.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the outlet, Kara also revealed his plans to revoke Al Jazeera reporters’ press passes.
“I contacted the Public Security Minister [Gilad Erdan] in order to close the [Al Jazeera] network’s offices in Israel. I contacted other sources requesting to restrict the network’s broadcasts to open satellites,” Kara said at a press conference as quoted by the Jerusalem Online news outlet.”
Ring a bell? The well known amd worldwide israeloamerican censorship attacks against Sputnik and RT come from the same rubbish. What they are unable to co-opt and corrupt, they seek to block access to, or destroy. This applies to all sources of information in all media, from corporate media to one person blogs. Recognise the pattern here? Called “full spectrum dominance”, they work tirelessly to make sure the people have to come to zionazi, inc. to get their information.
This is kind of interesting:
The Pentagon has just confirmed deployment of US Special Forces in Lebanon to support the Lebanese Army in an upcoming coordinated military campaign aimed to clean out an ISIS border pocket in the country’s northwest. Regional media outlets are describing the coming major new offensive as “imminent”. But awkwardly for the US, the fight will necessitate some level of coordination with Hezbollah, which the US considers a terrorist organization.
More ominous than interesting. First,a country should “never” let US forces into their country (for whatever reason),that is a “given”. Lebanon’s doing so,says to me that Hezbollah needs to get rid of the Lebanese leaders. They are “sellouts” and need removal “sooner rather than later”. It also says to me the US forces may cause a provocation with Hezbollah so they can attack Hezbollah. And sent more forces to Lebanon to occupy the country or at least part of it. You never, ever, let the fox in the hen-house. And if the farm hand does that. You “fire” him for it..
UB1
Ominous is a good term for it.
Remarks by President Trump and Prime Minister Hariri of Lebanon in Joint Press Conference
https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2017/07/25/remarks-president-trump-and-prime-minister-hariri-lebanon-joint-press
Some excerpts:
Trump (t): “Lebanon is on the front lines in the fight against ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Hizballah.”
(T): “The United States military has been proud to help in that fight and will continue to do so. America’s assistance can help ensure that the Lebanese army is the only defender Lebanon needs. It’s a very effective fighting force.
Threats to the Lebanese people come from inside, as well. Hizballah is a menace to the Lebanese state, the Lebanese people, and the entire region. The group continues to increase its military arsenal, which threatens to start yet another conflict with Israel, constantly fighting them back.
With the support of Iran, the organization is also fueling the humanitarian catastrophe in Syria. Hizballah likes to portray itself as a defender of Lebanese interests, but it’s very clear that its true interests are those of itself and its sponsor — Iran.”
(T): “I want to thank the Prime Minister and the Lebanese people for giving shelter to those victimized by ISIS, the Assad regime, and their supporters and sponsors, and pledge our continued support to Lebanon.”
Hariri: Russia must stop Assad from committing further crimes against humanity
http://nna-leb.gov.lb/en/show-news/77725/Hariri-Russia-must-stop-Assad-from-committing-further-crimes-against-humanity
“NNA – Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Thursday called on Russia to “control Syrian President Bashar Assad and prevent him from continuing to commit crimes against humanity.”
“With every day that passes, it is clear that Bashar Assad’s regime, which commits daily atrocities against its own people with explosives and incendiary weapons. Once again he committed a chemical massacre using Sarin gas in Khan Sheykhoun in Idlib,” Hariri said in a statement issued by his press office, calling upon “the international community to re-examine the consequences of the absence of any sort of accountability for what this regime has done to its own people.”
The hariri regime is as much israeli quislings as the tuppence regime.
Yes,which is why I believe he must be removed from power. He can resign,or Hezbollah should remove him. For their own sake, and the sake of Lebanon. The last thing the region needs is another US stooge being allowed to cause more trouble, in another country.
the same treatment israhell gave to his father.
UN Independent Commissioner of Inquiry on Syria Del Ponte Quits Blaming UNSC

“The government of President Bashar Assad perpetrated horrible crimes against humanity and used chemical weapons. And the opposition is now consists of extremists and terrorists,” del Ponted stressed.”
