Maybe Trump is taking a punch to be able to land his own.
Someone in the government/security/intelligence agencies has broken the law in leaking this to the press. If Flynn has broken the law then he too should face charges.
Certainly they have broken the law. But this is the US.As soon as Trump starts to arrest them. You’ll see headlines daily about the “true patriots” exposing Trumps crimes (of course there won’t be any real crimes to be exposed. But that doesn’t matter.),and the government turning into a “police state” to silence “the truth”.Every news channel will endlessly repeat that. The Trump haters in Congress will be calling for investigations of “misuse” of Presidential power. Should he do that anyway. And face down his enemies.Yes,he should. This is a “fight to the death” for him. Maybe literally for him. But certainly for his administration. But will he, is the question. Does he have the “street toughness” of a Putin. Or is he more a Charles I in England,a Louis XVI in France,or a Yanukovich in Ukraine. We have yet to know for certain which he is.
Its just what “you”,I, and others have said. The neo-con elites and their media stooges smell blood and are going in for the kill. That is how it works in the US. They find one small problem. Magnify it over and over again. Keep it constantly, 24/7 before the peoples view. And then slowly begin to destroy their target. They’ve done that several times in US politics.And exported it ,with even better results aboard.Remember the beginning of “maidan”. And how month after month the crescendo of hate and chaos undermined and then destroyed Yanukovich.Instead of crushing the maidan when it was small and unimportant. Yanukovich let the cancer grow,until it ended democracy in Ukraine.We see a form of that happening in the US today.If Trump continues to show “Yanukovich weakness” his regime will fall as well.And he can “maybe”, move to Rostov and share a condo with Yanukovich. Assuming Putin would let him in. Having “two” weak sisters to shelter might be too much ]for him to tolerant at one time.
Maybe they’ve been given enough rope with which to hang themselves? According to Glenn Greenwald it’s a maximum of ten years in jail and a fine for leaking this level of security information. I think this is all still playing out, if it’s the end of Trump i think it will be more blatantly obvious, i’m hoping it’s a setup and the leakers face some serous questioning from the FBI. Time will tell.

I do not know much about Russia or Iran, but I do know a fair bit about China. I am watching with interest how China is dealing with Trump America.
China, Russia, Iran are ancient civilizations, with deep knowledge and history.
America is like a teenager whose balls have just dropped and there is still no connection to the brain.
I do not agree that it is not those countries problem. The internal politics of the USA is everyone’s problem.

What’s more, this article refers to the WaPo leak from a couple of weeks ago that painted a portrait of Trump so unflattering that WaPo had to run it despite the anonymous sourcing. If WaPo hadn’t liked the contents of that article, they could have easily killed it or revealed their source. Similarly, InfoWars does most of its reporting on the outside and would lose little by revealing a White House insider source. But both sites have been reduced to begging for scraps.
This is Bannon PLAYING the media. He is throwing out juicy clickbait for us as he sees fit. Why? How does Bannon find the media useful, when the deep state so easily uses it to concoct the Russian plot?
My knee-jerk reaction is that Bannon must be getting ready for a figurative bloodbath inside the White House.
