I have it from a very good source that Mousavi and Karroubi have not showed up at a meeting of the Guardian Council which was to investigate their claims. Only Rezae was present. Since they were not present to present their case, the Guardian Council will most likely declared that it cannot proceed with the case.
In sum – the Guccis have dropped the facade of legality.
As predicted, the Guccis are now playing their last cards:
1) Street rioting (already happenng)
2) Terrorist attack (bombing of the shrine of Imam Khomenei, MKO, Jundallah, CIA/DIA & Co.)
3) Strategic psychological warfare (YouTube, Twitter, BBC, etc.)
I do not believe that they will succeed, but Iran will come out very weakened from this crisis.
Once the Guccis are crushed – which they will – the Uncle Shmuel will be able to use the “Saddam the evil dictator” excuse to unleash a military aggression against Iran.
Exactly as Kissinger said they would.
Why more weakened? The president has been reaserted now more than ever with such a huge turnout, unknown long ago to western “democracies”
Iran has showed the world what a vibrant democracy it is.
Demonizing Iran and/or Ahmadi Nejad?
so, what’s new?
@T: because I agree with what the Supreme Leader said yesterday in his sermon: the worst aspect of all this is that is poisons the confidence which Iranians had when they voted. He explained at length what a stunning success the elections were and he praised the people for being so enthusiastic for an interesting campaign. Now that this will all end in violence and blood this will leave a bad taste and a lingering sense of doubt.
Then, there is the fact that a lot of doubleplusgoodthinkers will buy into the “stolen elections” and “basiji thugs” canard and will see an attack on Iran as an attack on a dictatorship. Just look at the utter nonsese Amy Goodman airs on her (otherwise excellent) show Democracy Now.
About 3/4 of the Left fully bought into the Strategic Psyop campaign of Uncle Shmuel, that is a said fact.
Yes, Iran is a vibrant democracy which not only Saudi Arabian can envy, but even more so all Americans.
And so what?
The very same Americans who had 2 elections stolen and who got what is essentially a non-choice election betwen two Zionist puppets will now bomb Iran for not being “democractic enough”.
Yes, that is outrageous, sad, pathetic, comical – you name it!
But many Iranians will die in the end, first in the streets and then under the Empire’s bombs.
The jewnited states is not in a position to bomb anything now. What the untied states needs is a face-saving, someone to provide her a safe way out of the shit she stepped upon. She is entangled -to the throat- if Afghanistan, Iraq and now in Pakistan as well. The jewSA is in urgent need of Iran to save her from her misdeeds.
It is no position to bomb Iran, despite the zios are seething for it to be bombed the hell out of them.
No quite.
Moussavi has declared that the rigged election had been doctored months ago
He insists of the elections being annulled.
Three dead, eith wounded on the terrorist attack at Khomeini’s mausoleum.
400 policemen wounded in revolts
This man is a fool. All points out at he being on the american’s payroll. Besides being on the “shark’s” payroll.
Sad, very sad.
Mohsen Rezaie has attended
the other two have not

@EVERYBODY:
I have a question: Sayyed Ali Khamenei mentioned something interesting yesterady: that the “demonstrators” killed in the first clashes were actually Basij.
Is that really so?
I am confusing casualties?
Did the Guccis really organize a “day of mourning” in Thursday for Basijis they themselves killed?!
Thanks in advance for any clarifications on that.
The Saker
I thought the day of mourning was a ‘mourning’ of the election that they claim was killed. That’s how the news reported it anyway, I think (correct me, anyone, if I’m wrong)
But a street funeral of a Basij was reported on PressTV. Loads of people lined the streets following the coffin.
But I only know of that one.
According to this Gucci, the Canadian Embassy is rejecting injured protesters… why would that be?

Britain seizes huge amount of Iran assets
The British government says it has frozen an unprecedented total of one billion pounds (1.64 billion US dollars) worth of Iranian assets.
“The total assets frozen in the UK under the EU (European Union) and UN sanctions against Iran are approximately 976,110,000 pounds,” Ian Pearson, Britain’s Economic Secretary to the Treasury said in a written statement to parliament on Thursday.
The statement did not give any further details.

Better keep an eye on this too…
Moussavi’s unprecedented attack against Khamenei accusing him of changing the republican character of the state into a different one.
amazing
VS
what is Basij ?
look at the photos Mussavi’s wife has on her facebook site
Maybe because… as he already knew the election results had been doctored in advance…
So, given his believe above, it was not for the elections themselves that he participated. Was it for using these toys against the regime to try to bring it down?

Note how Saturday June 20 “CRUCIAL” demonstration has been called by this woman.

Mussavi had not the guts to call it himself and hides behind his wife.
And all these calls through facebook, which is owned by a ziojew who put it at the whole disposal of the zionist state…
In some other country this would be high treason.
Suicide bombing leaves 3 injured in Tehran

A terrorist bombing attack has targeted the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in southern Tehran, wounding three pilgrims at the site.
The suicide bomber himself was killed in the blast that rocked the northern entrance of the shrine of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, on Saturday, IRNA reported.
The report added that two of the wounded are Arab nationals who suffered minor injuries. The third casualty was an Iranian citizen.
Earlier reports said two people had been killed and eight others injured in the suicide attack.
The injured pilgrims have been taken to hospital.

None other than the champion of torture, the state that spyes on its own people, the state than brutally repressed demonstrations at home, dates to issue two resolutions on Iran’s “violence against demonstrators”

Where was it when then banlieus were on fire in France, or when Greece was burning from north to south after the cops had murdered a teen?
Yankee GO HOME, leave the world alone!!! It is much better off without you.
According to Mehdi Yahyanejad, manager of a Farsi-language news site based in Los Angeles, “Twitter’s impact inside Iran is zero..here, there is lots of buzz, but once you look . . . you see most of it are Americans tweeting among themselves.” The Alexa rankings confirm that Twitter’s penetration in Iran is nearly 0%.

Yeah, those Guccis…
I am happy that you are on the side of the Basij brownshirt who shot this woman:

How can you prove whoever that person was?

@American Goy: look up “Timisoara”, “Racak”, “Markale” and “massacre” or “Koweiti baby incubators”. Or watch the video “this revolution shall not be televised”.
Oh, and the power in Iran has no common features at all with the Soviet gerontocracy.
In the meantime, stick to topics you understand.
Sorry.
I think I understand this topic just fine, thank you.
And “Kuwait baby murders by Saddam thugs” spewed by the daughter of Kuwaiti ambassador to the USA is…
very different
from this girl being shot by a pro regime enforcer.
This is very much like Causescu’s Romania… I am not too thrilled that you cannot see it.
@American Goy:
First, you presented the Iranian government as SOVIET like.
Then you spoke about (GERMAN) Brownshirts.
Now we get COMMUNIST ROMANIAN.
Since the three above hardly have a common feature that hardly makes of a coherent argument :-)
But yeah, I got the idea:
Basij thug! Basij bad!
And I answer it here:
