In his memoirs, famous French writer Jules Renaud wrote, “It is enough to throw you into despair; to read everything, and remember nothing! Because you do remember nothing. For what is worth I have covered this issue in today’s blog at http://yourdailyshakespeare.com/prelude-to-the-farce-farewell-to-the-truth/equalities.
Be well.
It may have been that the only good Indian was a dead one in the US vernacular but it has always been the Indian problem in Canada .Earlier in the colonial development it was determined that the native population would not make good slaves that the Empire turned to Africa to fill the void . Thomas King http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_King_%28novelist%29 records in literature a phenomenon about the Alamo that is quite telling in his book The Inconvenient Indian: A Curious Account of Native People in North America (2012), which won the 2014 RBC Taylor Prize . A very worth while read and a very enjoyable read as well .
I am a firm believer that Vatican using the Jesuits infiltrated both sides of the Natives and were playing both sides of the street as that fits their mo . The Dutch were the first to supply fire arms to the Iroquois to attack the Algonquin tribes of the northern confederacy known as the Haudenosaunee Confederacy http://www.haudenosauneeconfederacy.com/ it’s always about divide and conquer /
After watching a recent You Tube Video it’s not hard to understand that even Russia and it’s early colonial ambitions were involved .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CtdGm556gM I think that Putins faith is manifesting in a very good light in the Lords eyes .
Although not in text books the US first defeat came St. Clair’s Defeat also known as the Battle of the Wabash, theBattle of Wabash River or the Battle of a Thousand Slain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Clair%27s_Defeat one has to wonder if the have actually ever won a war, other then when they fought themselves .
The Natives really didn’t want any part of the colonial wars but such as thing as would have it they were drawn into the conflict . There is good reason to believe that the war of independence was to create Loyalist to migrate north to Canada to remain Loyal to the Crown . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loyalist_%28American_Revolution%29 …This makes sense because Canada not being as welcoming a climate as the southern part ,didn’t draw the immigration numbers to establish a firm Colony that could expand to the west .
I need a question answered by a Russian . Who what when and why did Russia sell Alaska to the Americans .???
One of the questions not fully addressed so far into the vids as to what to do with Canada if annexed goes to the Indian problem ,because they wrote Treaties with the differing nations . You have to be a souvenir nation and Canada was not a nation until 1867 and so all treaties with first nations were with Britain .or England …This law comes from the law of nations and cannot be deemed legal other wise . (the indian problem) Canadian .
Its a very interesting subject when you look into the Indians right to vote that came about via the second world war .Following along with the vid it is easy to understand how it would have been impossible to align with either side in the conflict .kind of a dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t situation . Smart minds would have taken the third way and attacked the weaker of the two but you are still left with either a Hillary or a Bush . lol
One has to wonder if tptb didn’t really care how or when the borders were determined because they could eventually weave a narrative into a historical context that would serve them for a time while marginalizing the original nations and subjugating them to a lower status .If put into a family quarrel ie. British/French over the rule of North America one can see with modern day links within the security council at the UN .
War does have the ability to create different narratives as to what the powers that be want to weave into their text books .I am enjoying this history lesson by someone other then a Anglo/American There is quite a sub story to Washington DC that is very telling .Originally owned by a Jesuit the river on which it is located is named …. gee when you go to Wikipedia they sometimes avoid some historic info …k here is a link to a very extensive thread called All roads lead to Rome http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread564758/pg1
Love it that the star spangled banner is a old drinking song .The irony of the whole tale of america is .They have stepped up their game to be completely Hypocrites . How long can this continue ? I know that they are dying but please someone put them out of their misery . Anyone …North Korea maybe ….Now that would really be ironic wouldn’t it ?
Terry what an amazing comment you made here…wow….you sound very educated….the book I have of course is Howard Zinn…I love that book..”The People’s History of the United States”..and from that I bought another book about the same topic….so sad….did you read the article “Skull and Bones” on Saker’s blog ? It was partly about Geronimo…check out the top bar “articles” I think you’ll find it.
Indeed he sounds very educated, which is pretty unusual for a First Nations person given the terrible conditions in which they are forced to live. Kudos to him.
Yes dear Flor….they have abilities in other ways…I grew up near an Indian reserve in BC and the kids had such a difficult time at school…and so did I later….I’d rather be living the lives they used to live here in North America than living … or trying to live… the lives we have today….
by the way…there’s a fantastic book written by a native guy near me…its called “Keepers of the Animals” I don’t remember his name but if you can get that book, its fabulous…folk legends about the native people and their animals…and the last story will make you ball your eyes out…in a beautiful way.
‘I need a question answered by a Russian . Who what when and why did Russia sell Alaska to the Americans .???’
I have one answer although I wouldn’t call it definitive. Russia had gone into debt to the US in the construction of the TransSierian Railroad. The sale of Alaska was one means of settlement. I think there were other reasons.
It is interesting the various levels of cooperation between Imperial Russia and the US before internationalist banker movements within the US decided to paint Russia as an enemy.
BTW, I thank you for your post. Many decades ago, in high school, I had a teacher of ancient history who broke down in tears as he recounted the extermination of American indigenous peoples, he had married a Navaho woman. Dont know what to say exept that the more I look into the history of the US and its’ unwritten murderous nature, the more …… Well, I’m way beyond disgust and seldom feel the need to vomit anymore.
God Bless You.
Terry, I am still digesting the excellent information you have provided in your comment. In particular, the “Magna Charta of Native Americans” is most interesting. If only it had been adhered to. As an unrelated but relevant piece of information it is not generally known that the myth of the tea-party had little or nothing to do with the disputed tea-tax. There was a thriving contraband business in America and tea was possibly more popular then than now. The British had a large excess sitting in the London warehouses. So they decided to sell it at such a low price that, even with the sales (stamp) tax it would still be cheaper than the contraband brand. This greatly upset the Americans. It is telling that the first man who put money into the war of independence was John Hancock, whose family fortune was largely based on smuggling and contraband. And one of the main reasons for wanting independence was the desire to remove any fetters that would impede the annihilation of the Indian Nation. The Declaration of Independence was a legalistic cover (admittedly more elegant than today’s tortured and pompous Obama’s explanations) – to give a veneer of legitimacy to a very illegitimate enterprise, namely the destruction of the Indian Nation. Much as today’s “freedom and democracy” is new-speak for thought-control of everyone everywhere, thanks to the good offices of “National Security.” Of course all in the name and for the glory of freedom.
Thank you for the post.
Saker ..please lighten up even on anomalous posters . Take it as a good stepping stone that may enlighten newbees to the conversation .We do all after all have to start at a point of enty into truth .peace
Yes Jimmie does a very good job of bringing to light the history of the US/Anglo Empirical system we live under the influence of . It is not the final word on this page of human history . There is no shortage of fingers that can point ,but there is much room in the human heart for reconciliation for all injustices .
Hi Terry, yes…I guess…in this life at least I haven’t been on the side that forgives…I’m a colonist in Canada…and I’m so ashamed of my government now its horrible.
“Why is there so lofty walls and walls so dumb? Is it because the walls of the isolation that the major media erect each day?”
Eduardo Galeano
“Walls” in La Jornada, Monday April 24, 2006, p.27
“(…)Since the days of the Cold War to the present, through the media, cinema, etc., has been developing an anti-social imaginary of the Berlin Wall, which expresses an idea that has most persons. According to this idea, the Wall was a cursed place where East Germans died constantly escaping the “red terror” and looking for the Western Paradise. The anticommunist propaganda established a synonymy between the Berlin Wall and the idea of “death”, to turn it into an anticommunist symbol. But this took place not only during the Cold War but subsequently continued digging in the same direction. During the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Wall (last November), systemic media means to launch a new wave of messages that influenced this macabre association of meanings (…)”
“(…)On the contrary, our notion of what happens in the US-Mexico border., Completely blurs what is really happening. In this case, instead of emphasizing and hyperbolize a situation, the opposite occurs: it is hidden and / or minimized. In the past 16 years, nearly 8,000 people have died trying to cross this other wall separating the Empire from Latin America. Systemic media, however, do not put the same effort to emphasize this other reality (…)”
(…)”Separate the earth of dollars from the land of pain I had been in deserts before -. The Kalahari in southern Africa, the Sahel, in the north-central Africa, Death Valley – but never in such a brutal place like this. “(…)
(…)”5 things you should know about the Berlin Wall”:
“The wall around West Berlin, not East Berlin nor RDA. There is so much media manipulation that most people believe that the wall around East Berlin (GDR) and prevented the exit to the East Germans. Nor separated the RDA from the FRG (Federal Republic of Germany). The wall surrounded only the territories of West Berlin (RFA) occupied by the US, France and England (powers that made every effort to destabilize the socialist country) after the Second World War. This area was located within the RDA, which was very negative for the country as they had the enemy within its borders. The RDA, seeing the danger that this entailed, advocated the unification of the country and the departure of foreign troops, USA always refused. “(…)

“Walls, dead and borders (2/2) “Dead that unlisted: Tu n’es pas Charlie.”
This the perfect place to post a warning about a new Hollywood movie.
The new movie “The Alamo,” is the worst of a slew of terrible, racist & pro-imperialist Hollywood Propaganda movies about the Battle at the Alamo, and the Mexican-American War.
This new effort at brainwashing is so horrific and devoid of truth, that even Goebbels would be astonished. Hollywood’s controllers are in tune with the current effort to claim American Exceptionalism, and whitewash the crimes of the American Oligarchs.
1. The slew of Alamo movies, such as the earlier one starring John Wayne, fail to mention that the conflict in Texas was triggered by the American settlers bringing their SLAVES with them to Texas. Slavery had been outlawed by the newly independent Mexico. Hollywood fails to correctly identify the Freedom Fighters.
Mexican leader, General Santa Anna, represented the more enlightened pro-human freedom forces, and the Americans, as with today, represent human slavery in all its sordid forms. One does not have to idolize Stalin (er- Santa Anna) to see the clear moral differences between the anti-slavery Mexicans (who were also bravely defending thesovereignty and territorial integrity of their nation), – – and the slaveholding, and imperialist, Americans.
Among numerous Primary sources accurately documenting the moral lineup in the American imperialist assault on Mexico, is the excellent “Memoirs” of American General Ulysses Grant.
In the aftermath of the brief battle at the Alamo, the slaves of the American so-called ‘freedom fighters’ were freed, and with the American women and children, were allowed to leave unharmed (they were given a wagon, horses, food and water for their journey – east. The terrorist slavers, who had violated the laws of a sovereign nation, Mexico, and had shed the blood of Mexican soldiers, and thereby committed Treason, including most of the American leaders at the Alamo, (who surrendered like the cowards they were), were properly executed.
The Battle at the Alamo (the liberation of San Antonio), was the last major victory of the Latin American people against the American imperialists, until that of Playa Giron in 1960.
1. Hollywood has yet to produce a major movie exposing the Turkish Holocaust against the Armenian people. The Zionists hypocritically refuse to discuss any holocaust, other than that against the Jewish people. Their selective pretense of morality recalls their acquiesence, with the other world nations, in the murder of 400 Mexican students who had protested the 1968 Olympics, but, four years later, when 11 of their Olympic team died at the Munich Olympics, they demanded that the fun and games be halted.
2. Hollywood has yet to acknowledge the true dichotomy of Freedom fighters versus Slavers at the Alamo. Notice that none (0%) of the Hollywood stars has spoken out against this travesty.
3. If the Mexican government was not such a conglomeration of cowards and servants, they would make a formal protest against this new propagandistic diatribe from Hollywood.
4. Some may recall another horrific diatribe from Hollywood, entitled “Red Dawn.” The movie depicts a Soviet invasion of the United States. On this occasion – the Russian government made a mild, but decent protest against this movie. They pointed out that it was the United States that had invaded Russia (1918-1920), and not the other way around.
5. Hollywood’s worst crime has been saved for the last. Not only did they help foist the first Hollywood President on the American and world stage, Ronald Reagan, but they outdid themselves with Broken (Hollywood) Obomber. Obomber, not only pretends to be a Constitutional President, but he has fronted (as we say) for the murder of millions of humans, Iraquis, Afghanis, Syrians, Libyans, Sudanis, Palestinians, Yemenis, and, recently, Russians and Ukrainians.
*there has been a rumor (spread by this writer) that Hollywood Obomber also portrayed the fictional Bin Laden. The Oligarchs have surely gotten their money’s worth out of Obomber.
As the coffee wears off, I must congratulate all those who informed/reminded us about this horrific first Holocaust of the 20th Century. It is hard reading/viewing. Man’s inhumanity to man, and everything else that breathes is a constant throughout history. The best we can do is to face the truth and keep our powder dry.

hear hear Saker….I like Jimmie’s videos very much.
Sorry that you took it that way – but I can see why, my response was too quick and ill considered.
Jimmy’s approach is also superb and i’m no longer sure that “let your life be a friction to stop the machine” is any better.
They are both brilliant.
Thanks for posting and apologies again for starting off on the wrong foot.

I write in defense of my critic. I agree that the video you refer to is excellent. In fact I even bookmarked it when I first saw it. The objectives of the Historical Sketches are somewhat different, as I tried to show in the 3-minute long trailer to the series http://youtu.be/_8gyol-q87A
We all agree how little our minds can retain of what we read or see. In his memoirs, famous French writer Jules Renaud wrote, “It is enough to throw you into despair; to read everything, and remember nothing! Because you do remember nothing. You may strain as much as you would like: everything escapes. Here and there a few tatters remain, fragile as those puffs of smoke left over after the train has passed.” Consequently…. I attempt to include anecdotal information in the sketches, counting on the well known phenomenon that often, it is an anecdote that helps us reconstruct the whole or remember a part. The war of 1812 is relevant, I think, also considering the most recent announced administration strategy to label any non-regime-media sanctioned information as ‘conspiracy theories’. Love this post Saker . I am a Native Indian of both Mi’kmaq-Maliseet decent .http://www.unb.ca/fredericton/education/mmi/ Our Magna Carta is the royal proclamation of 1763 . http://indigenousfoundations.arts.ubc.ca/home/government-policy/royal-proclamation-1763.html Not many people know this but France imo worked hand in hand with Britain to subvert and distort North American history and the deals worked out behind the scenes .
Many thanks:

IMAGINE
Toronto was never the capital of Canada. Major error in the first minute. So, it’s hard to take him seriously. Sorry.
