Google is now penalizing socialist, antiwar and left wing sites, such as World Socialist Website, Globalresearch.ca, Consortiumnews.com (which is just a site with a great journalist, Robert Parry, who exposed Iran Contra and other scandal.
Google is NOT Left. It is fake left, using identity politics to avoid the issues such as massive disinformation by the MSM, which Google is itself. By lumping Google into the socalled “Left” he is doing a big disservice to dissidence, which is sorely needed.
True Left sources have more in common, in terms of identifying problem, such as globalization, banks, Israeli influence, monopoly Capitalism, etc. Solutions may differ but there is agreement on identifying the problem. Left wing gatekeeping is a big problem, and Google, by falsely identifying itself as ‘liberal’ or whatever, its obvious bias during the election towards Clinton is a major case in point. True Leftists like myself found her abhorrent, as well as the anti Russia meme, that admittedly has seduced all too many mainstream leftists–not to mention most mainstream USAns.
Neither Left nor Right nor center have a copyright on stupidity and lack of critical thinking.
The old rule of ‘divide and rule’ is alive in the US Deep State. While their agents work diligently to keep ‘left’ and ‘right’ commoners from identifying their common enemy, the Deep State continues to maintain and acquire more economic benefits stolen from those same commoners.

Well, the word “left” may have meant something in times past. It has long been rendered meaningless by this kind of usage. I have no doubt that PJW considers Google a “leftist” organization, no matter how transparent its full collaboration with imperial endeavors may be. And that is why PJW’s high-pitched presentations are devoid of much value. He interprets all the grotesque wasteland of the “identititis” disease (aka identity politics) as emanating from a malady he calls “marxism”.

I agree the whole political spectrum / left/right /is compromised, but in my opinion, yes, Google and other Silicon valley companies who receive heavy subsidies from the state for “R&D” are definitely “left” and totally aligned in left-liberal “group think” that reigns in Hollywood and all of California..(even if it’s not the true left).
Traditionally, the “true left” used to be good at defending free speech…but these pseudo leftists have completely distorted that, just as pseudo rightists have done the same to conservative movements.
We must look to individuals, rather than left/right/political movements. But when a conservative such as PJW attacks the “pseudo-left”, then why are the true leftists not getting up and cheering?
If I, an economic conservative, can cheer for Jeremy Corbyn then it surely it shouldn’t hard for the true leftist and left dissidents to do the same with PJW..?
The entire ‘left’ versus ‘right’ argument is a devised grouping designed to separate people who may otherwise find common cause. Don’t buy into labelling, simply evaluate concepts without bias.

I’ve been boycotting Google since 2015. I found a great alternative for Google search called Startpage.com. It will give you Google results, but with full privacy protection. Nothing is logged or tracked !! Qwuant is another one thats worth giving a shot.
