by Paul Craig Roberts (cross-posted with PCR’s website with his special agreement)
Among the ruling interests in the US, one interest even more powerful than the Israel Lobby—the Deep State of the military/security complex— there is enormous fear that an uncontrollable President Trump at the upcoming Putin/Trump summit will make an agreement that will bring to an end the demonizing of Russia that serves to protect the enormous budget and power of the military-security complex.
You can see the Deep State’s fear in the editorials that the Deep State handed to the Washington Post (June 29) and New York Times (June 29), two of the Deep State’s megaphones, but no longer believed by the vast majority of the American people. The two editorials share the same points and phrases. They repeat the disproven lies about Russia as if blatant, obvious lies are hard facts.
Both accuse President Trump of “kowtowing to the Kremlin.” Kowtowing, of course, is not a Donald Trump characteristic. But once again fact doesn’t get in the way of the propaganda spewed by the WaPo and NYT, two megaphones of Deep State lies.
The Deep State editorial handed to the WaPo reads: “THE REASONS for the tension between the United States and Russia are well-established. Russia seized Crimea from Ukraine, instigated a war in eastern Ukraine, intervened to save the dictatorship of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, interfered in the U.S. presidential election campaign to harm Hillary Clinton and help Donald Trump, poisoned a former intelligence officer on British soil and continues to meddle in the elections of other democracies.”
The WaPo’s opening paragraph is a collection of all the blatant lies assembled by the Deep State for its Propaganda Ministry. There have been many books written about the CIA’s infiltration of the US media. There is no doubt about it. I remember my orientation as Staff Associate, House Defense Appropriation Subcommittee, when I was informed that the Washington Post is a CIA asset. This was in 1975. Today the Post is owned by a person with government contracts that many believe sustain his front business.
And don’t forget Udo Ulfkotte, an editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, who wrote in his best seller, Bought Journalism, that there was not a significant journalist in Europe who was not on the CIA’s payroll. The English language edition of Ulfkotte’s book has been suppressed and prevented from publication.
The New York Times, which last told the truth in the 1970s when it published the leaked Pentagon Papers and had the fortitude to stand up for its First Amendment rights, repeats the lies about Putin’s “seizure of Crimea and attack on Ukraine” along with all the totally unstantiated BS about Russia interferring in the US president election and electing Trump, who now kowtows to Putin in order to serve Russia instead of the US. The editorial handed to the NYT insinuates that Trump is a threat to the national security of America and its allies (vassals). The problem, the NYT declares, is that Trump is not listening to his advisors.
Shades of President John F. Kennedy, who did not listen to the CIA and Joint Chiefs of Staff about invading Cuba, nuking the Soviet Union, and using the false flag attack on America of the Joint Chiefs’ Northwoods Project (look it up online). Is the New York Times setting up Trump for assassination on the grounds that he is lovely-dovey with Russia and sacrificing US national interests?
I would bet on it.
While the Washington Post and New York Times are telling us that if Trump meets with Putin, Trump will sell out US national security, The Saker says that Putin finds himself in a similar box, only it doesn’t come from the national security interest, but from the Russian Fifth Column, the Atlanticist Integrationists whose front man is the Russian Prime Minister Medvedev, who represents the rich Russian elite whose wealth is based on stolen assets during the Yeltsin years enabled by Washington. These elites, The Saker concludes, impose constraints on Putin that put Russian sovereignty at risk. Economically, it is more important to these elites for financial reasons to be part of Washington’s empire than to be a sovereign country. http://10.16.86.131/no-5th-column-in-the-kremlin-think-again/
I find The Saker’s explanation the best I have read of the constraints on Putin that limit his ability to represent Russian national interests.
I have often wondered why Putin didn’t have the security force round up these Russian traitors and execute them. The answer is that Putin believes in the rule of law, and he knows that Russia’s US financed and supported Fifth Column cannot be eliminated without bloodshed that is inconsistent with the rule of law. For Putin, the rule of law is as important as Russia. So, Russia hangs in the balance. It is my view that the Russian Fifth Column could care less about the rule of law. They only care about money.
As challenged as Putin might be, Chris Hedges, one of the surviving great American journalists, who is not always right but when he is he is incisive, explains the situation faced by the American people. It is beyond correction. American civil liberties and prosperity appear to be lost. https://russia-insider.com/en/politics/america-shows-many-signs-impending-catastrophic-collapse-pulitzer-prize-winner-explains
In my opinion, Hedges leftwing leanings caused him to focus on Reagan’s rhetoric rather that on Reagan’s achievements—the two greatest of our time—the end of stagflation, which benefited the American people, and the end of the Cold War, which removed the theat of nuclear war. I think Hedges also does not appreciate Trump’s sincerety about normalizing relations with Russia, relations destroyed by the Clinton, George W. Bush, and Obama regimes, and Trump’s sincerety about bringing offshored jobs home to American workers. Trump’s agenda puts him up against the two most powerful interest groups in the United States. A president willing to take on these powerful groups should be appreciated and supported, as Hedges acknowledges the dispossessed majority do. If I might point out to Chris, whom I admire, it is not like Chris Hedges to align against the choice of the people. How can democracy work if people don’t rule?
Hedges writes, correctly, “The problem is not Trump. It is a political system, dominated by corporate power and the mandarins of the two major political parties, in which we [the American people] don’t count.”
Hedges is absolutely correct.
It is impossible not to admire a journalist like Hedges who can describe our plight with such succinctness:
“We now live in a nation where doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowlege, the press destroys information, religion destroys morals, and banks destroy the economy.”
Read The Saker’s explanation of Russian politics. Possibly Putin will collapse under pressure from the powerful Fifth Column in his government. Read Chris Hedges analysis of American collapse. There is much truth in it. What happens if the Russian people rise up against the Russian Fifth Column and if the oppressed American people rise up against the extractions of the military/security complex? What happens if neither population rises up?
Who sets off the first nuclear weapon?
Our time on earth is not just limited by our threescore and ten years, but also humanity’s time on earth, and that of every other species, is limited by the use of nuclear weapons.
It is long past the time when governments, and if not them, humanity, should ask why nuclear weapons exist when they cannot be used without destroying life on earth.
Why isn’t this the question of our time, instead of, for example, transgender toilet facilities, and the large variety of fake issues on which the presstitute media focuses?
The articles by The Saker and Chris Hedges, two astute people, report that neither superpower is capable of making good decisions, decisions that are determined by democracy instead of by oligarchs, against whom neither elected government can stand.
If this is the case, humanity is finished.

Trump is kowtowing to the Kremlin again. Why?
Ahead of a summit with Putin, Trump is siding with the Russian leader, with dangerous results.
THE REASONS for the tension between the United States and Russia are well-established. Russia seized Crimea from Ukraine, instigated a war in eastern Ukraine, intervened to save the dictatorship of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, interfered in the U.S. presidential election campaign to harm Hillary Clinton and help Donald Trump, poisoned a former intelligence officer on British soil and continues to meddle in the elections of other democracies. Yet on Wednesday in the Kremlin, President Vladimir Putin brushed it all aside and delivered the Russian “maskirovka,” or camouflage, answer that it is all America’s fault.
Meeting with John Bolton, the president’s national security adviser, Mr. Putin declared that the tensions are “in large part the result of an intense domestic political battle inside the U.S.” Then Mr. Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov insisted that Russia “most certainly did not interfere in the 2016 election” in the United States. On Thursday morning, Mr. Trump echoed them both on Twitter: “Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with Meddling in our Election!”
Why is Mr. Trump kowtowing again? The U.S. intelligence community has concluded that Russia did attempt to tilt the election using multiple campaigns, including cyberintrusions and insidious social media fakery. Would it be so difficult to challenge Mr. Putin about this offensive behavior? A full accounting has yet to be made of the impact on the election, but Mr. Bolton did not mince words last year when he described Russian interference as “a true act of war” and said, “We negotiate with Russia at our peril.” And now?
Summits can be productive, even – maybe especially – when nations are at odds. In theory, a meeting between Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin, now scheduled for next month in Helsinki, could be useful. But a meeting aimed at pleasing Mr. Putin is naive and foolhardy. A meeting aimed at pleasing Mr. Putin at the expense of traditional, democratic U.S. allies would be dangerous and damaging.
Just as Mr. Bolton was flattering Mr. Putin, Russia was engaging in subterfuge on the ground in Syria. The United States, Russia and Jordan last year negotiated cease-fire agreements in southwestern Syria, along the border with Jordan and the Golan Heights. In recent days, the United States has warned Russia and its Syrian allies not to launch an offensive in the area, where the rebel forces hold parts of the city of Daraa and areas along the border. The State Department vowed there would be “serious repercussions” and demanded that Russia restrain its client Syrian forces. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called the Russian foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, saying an offensive would be unacceptable. All to no avail; Syria is bombing the area.
This is what happens when Mr. Trump signals, repeatedly, that he is unwilling or unable to stand up to Russian misbehavior. We are on dangerous ground. Either Mr. Trump has lost touch with essential U.S. interests or there is some other explanation for his kowtowing that is yet unknown.

Trump and Putin’s Too-Friendly Summit
It’s good to meet with adversaries. But when Mr. Trump sits down with Mr. Putin, it will be a meeting of kindred spirits. That’s a problem.
It’s good for American presidents to meet with adversaries, to clarify differences and resolve disputes. But when President Trump sits down with President Vladimir Putin of Russia in Finland next month, it will be a meeting of kindred spirits, and that’s a problem.
One would think that at a tête-à-tête with the Russian autocrat, the president of the United States would take on some of the major concerns of America and its closest allies. Say, for instance, Mr. Putin’s seizure of Crimea and attack on Ukraine, which led to punishing international sanctions. But at the Group of 7 meeting in Quebec this month, Mr. Trump reportedly told his fellow heads of state that Crimea is Russian because everyone there speaks that language. And, of course, Trump aides talked to Russian officials about lifting some sanctions even before he took office.
One would hope that the president of the United States would let Mr. Putin know that he faces a united front of Mr. Trump and his fellow NATO leaders, with whom he would have met days before the summit in Helsinki. But Axios reported that during the meeting in Quebec, Mr. Trump said, “NATO is as bad as Nafta,” the North American Free Trade Agreement, which is one of Mr. Trump’s favorite boogeymen.
Certainly the president would mention that even the people he appointed to run America’s intelligence services believe unequivocally that Mr. Putin interfered in the 2016 election to put him in office and is continuing to undermine American democracy. Right? But on Thursday morning, Mr. Trump tweeted, “Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with Meddling in our Election!”
More likely, Mr. Trump will congratulate Mr. Putin, once again, for winning another term in a sham election, as he did in March, even though his aides explicitly warned him not to. And he has already proposed readmitting Russia to the Group of 7, from which it was ousted after the Ukraine invasion.
Summits once tended to be carefully scripted, and presidents were attended by senior advisers and American interpreters. At dinner during a Group of 20 meeting last July, Mr. Trump walked over to Mr. Putin and had a casual conversation with no other American representative present. He later said they discussed adoptions – the same issue that he falsely claimed was the subject of a meeting at Trump Tower in 2016 between his representatives and Russian operatives who said they had dirt on Hillary Clinton.
It’s clear that Mr. Trump isn’t a conventional president, but instead one intent on eroding institutions that undergird democracy and peace. Mr. Trump “doesn’t believe that the U.S. should be part of any alliance at all” and believes that “permanent destabilization creates American advantage,” according to unnamed administration officials quoted by Jeffrey Goldberg in The Atlantic.
Such thinking goes further than most Americans have been led to believe were Mr. Trump’s views on issues central to allied security. He has often given grudging lip service to supporting NATO, even while complaining frequently about allies’ military spending and unfair trade policies.
The tensions Mr. Trump has sharpened with our allies should please Mr. Putin, whose goal is to fracture the West and assert Russian influence in places where the Americans and Europeans have played big roles, like the Middle East, the Balkans and the Baltic States.
Yet despite growing anxieties among European allies, Mr. Trump is relying on his advisers less than ever because, “He now thinks he’s mastered this,” one senior member of Congress said in an interview. That’s a chilling thought given his inability, so far, to show serious progress on any major security issue. Despite Mr. Trump’s talk of quick denuclearization after his headline-grabbing meeting with the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, experts say satellite imagery shows the North is actually improving its nuclear capability.
While the White House hasn’t disclosed an agenda for the Putin meeting, there’s a lot the two leaders should be discussing, starting with Russian cyberintrusions. Mr. Trump, though, has implied that Mr. Putin could help the United States guard against election hacking. And although Congress last year mandated sweeping sanctions against Russia to deter such behavior, Mr. Trump has failed to implement many of them.
In a similar vein, should Mr. Trump agree to unilaterally lift sanctions imposed after Moscow invaded Ukraine and started a war, it would further upset alliance members, which joined the United States in imposing sanctions at some cost to themselves. Moreover, what would deter Mr. Putin from pursuing future land grabs?
Mr. Trump could compound that by canceling military exercises, as he did with South Korea after the meeting with Mr. Kim, and by withdrawing American troops that are intended to keep Russia from aggressive action in the Baltics.
Another fraught topic is Syria. Mr. Trump has signaled his desire to withdraw American troops from Syria, a move that would leave the country more firmly in the hands of President Bashar al-Assad and his two allies, Russia and Iran. Russia, in particular, is calling the shots on the battlefield and in drafting a political settlement that could end the fighting, presumably after opposition forces are routed.
What progress could be made at this summit, then? Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin may find it easier to cooperate in preventing a new nuclear arms race by extending New Start, a treaty limiting strategic nuclear weapons that expires in 2021.
Another priority: bringing Russia back into compliance with the I.N.F. treaty, which eliminated all U.S. and Soviet ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges between 500 and 5,500 kilometers, until Russia tested and deployed a prohibited cruise missile.
Mr. Trump’s top national security advisers are more cleareyed about the Russian threat than he is. So are the Republicans who control the Senate. They have more responsibility than ever to try to persuade Mr. Trump that the country’s security is at stake when he meets Mr. Putin, and that he should prepare carefully for the encounter.
I believe, we’re nearing the kind of times in which all this propaganda will be no longer useful even for the deep states that created it. The finishing line beyond which there won’t be any “free money” to feed the beast is approaching fast. They know it, and they have no idea of how to avoid this gracefully. Time itself will finish them off. The lies are profitable only when nobody knows what those lies are, this time is over.
One can only hope so!
Problem is they are trying to start Ww3 before that happens, and if something is not done, they may just succeed.
No WWIII. Putin will prevent that.
The Saker’s and PCR’s fears of 5th-column influence on Putin are largely unfounded: they mistakes Putin’s prudence and “heroic patience” (Ph. Grasset) for a timid caving in under internal pressure.
He has a good team of analysts, and the people’s trusting support – and the support of all those who look at Russia with hope. He will overcome all the machinations, wherever they come from.
RMM
I fully agree with you. In fact I pointed this out in my previous posts.
All before breakfast, right?
Putin doesn’t need anyone to white knight him on the internet forums. He needs you to accept the reality of the constraints he is working under, then get out on the streets when shit hits the fan. Cos it will, and you (presumed Russian patriots) will, or he will lose.
Everything he has accomplished has been built on a truce – a “de-escalation zone”, if you will – with the devils in the Russian system. They can out-wait him, and won’t go quietly.
PB
The waiting game works both ways, beneficial for some, detrimental to others. Putin will be almost six years in Office. I think this former high ranking KGB operative knows what he has to do. As one Russian reader has commented, Russia is building up it’s infrastructure and fighting corruption in a very quiet, dignified way.
Agree. Putin can handle the comparatively weak wannabe power-brokers in his 5th column. What I am concerned about, however, is the questions surrounding what follows Putin after he leaves office. There is obviously a glaring risk that Russia could be shoved back to the 90s chaos. I am hopeful that he is working with his advisors, the military and the intelligence services to hedge against post-Putin collapse to the Atlanticists.
Putin didn’t even nationalize the Russian central as promised which is owned by the Rothschilds and you claim he’s gonna save the world? http://new.euro-med.dk/20141215-putins-confident-putin-to-nationalize-rothschilds-central-bank-and-purge-collaborators-with-west-war-till-one-side-collapses-inevitable.php
Art Best
You are poorly informed. Putin expelled the Rothschild’s years ago. Do you really think that Russia could have made a recovery with the Rothschild’s in charge ?
“Do you really think that Russia could have made a recovery with the Rothschild’s in charge ?”
Easily.
What would be miraculous is that, having totally subjugated the USSR in the early 90’s that the boot would be taken from the neck of of Russia to do what she unilaterally pleases (via Saint Putin).
Russia’s Conservative Capitalist Oligarchy is just more of the same global elite class playing never ending war games to keep their MIC supernormal profits rolling in..
The Real History
You nailed it. On the Internet I have been stating this for years. You cannot eternally play with fiat money backed by nothing. The elite in the West, especially in the US, is being brought against the wall, having no more space to maneuver. The end is going to be very interesting. Yes, the elites might pull off the old bankers trick of taking you to war, but even Western analysts are warning that this old trick cannot be applied any more.
so they can change national currency into something else and simply erase the dollar from history. Gaddafi also has just changed the Libyan currency to another during bloodless revolution in Libia. rowdy. countries that would accept such a new currency would be saved but would become de jure and de facto part of the US mini-empire. Canada and part of Southern America maybe. of course America would have to “sacrifice” the rest of the world, but would save itself in that geostrategic compression. I do not see what else USA can do to save country. I’m talking about the USA as a country, not about deep state players which already know the best for themselves.
“but even Western analysts are warning that this old trick cannot be applied any more.”
Which Western analysts?
Can you provide some links, or book titles?

Well, I have been reading about this for more than ten years and I did not keep any personal records on the web sites I visited. However, even Trump has admitted that 70.000 factories have been closed down, while the US has the largest foreign and domestic debt in the world. It does not any more have the manufacturing base and finances to fight a wider war. When it launched the second invasion of Iraq in 2003, it had to borrow money to do it, borrowing money even from China and Indonesia.
“When it launched the second invasion of Iraq in 2003, it had to borrow money to do it, borrowing money even from China and Indonesia”
Can you provide sources to prove that statement?
2017 US GDP was $19.4 trillion – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal).
Total foreign security holdings were $6.2 trillion – http://ticdata.treasury.gov/Publish/mfh.txt which infers that 68% is US “owned”.
With a public debt to GDP at 77.4% it is high but less than some other major western economies – especially in light of its reserve status – the $ seems likely to hold that status for a very long time to come.
Apple alone holds $52 billion of US securities https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/03/apple-owns-more-us-treasuries-than-many-major-countries.html which is more than many countries on the list.
iphone sales in China were greater than those in the US in 2015 http://uk.businessinsider.com/apple-iphone-sales-region-china-chart-2017-3

That the US borrowed money for it’s second invasion of Iraq in 2003 is old news, appearing immediately after the invasion.
When it comes to figures, you posted official figures. The 21 trillion dollar debt of the US is foreign debt. And what is the internal debt ? The US media always ignores it, as if it does not exist and few Americans even know it does. How large is it ? Apparently nobody outside US Government institutions and banks really knows. In 2014 a group of American university professors calculated that the combined US debt was 222 trillion dollars. After that I am reading that its either 60 or 70 trillion. Obviously it’s huge.
In 1971 Nixon took the dollar off the gold standard. The petrodollar was introduced, backed by Saudi Arabia. Others followed. It’s a well known fact that Russia and China are preparing to introduce gold backed rubles and yuans. Once they do, what will happen to the US dollar, which is printed backed by nothing, and which was used to sustain the US debt ? I am also reading that the US Government is covertly preparing to introduce a new domestic dollar, once the current one crashes. And crash it will.
“When it comes to figures, you posted official figures. The 21 trillion dollar debt of the US is foreign debt. And what is the internal debt ?”
The $21 trillion is not the foreign debt.
The link, again, http://ticdata.treasury.gov/Publish/mfh.txt shows “FOREIGN HOLDERS OF TREASURY SECURITIES” as at April 2018 as $6.169 trillion
As at April 2018 the total public debt was https://treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/mspd/2018/2018_apr.htm
1. Debt Held by the Public $15.3 trillion
2. Intergovernmental Holdings $ 5.7 trilion
Total $21 trillion
So, 6.169/21.027 infers that 29.33% of Public debt is “owned” outside of the US.
“And what is the internal debt ?
What definition of “internal debt” do you refer to?
For example https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-household-net-worth-rises-in-4th-quarter-on-higher-stock-home-values-1520528423
“Americans’ wealth pushed further into record territory in the final quarter of last year, hitting nearly $100 trillion thanks to rising stock markets and property prices.
Household net worth – the value of all assets less such as stocks and real estate minus liabilities like mortgage and credit card debt – rose more than 2 trillion last quarter to a record $98.746 trillion”
“Once they do, what will happen to the US dollar, which is printed backed by nothing, and which was used to sustain the US debt ?”
UK public debt to GDP is 90.4%. Sterling holds no reserve status. While US military expenditure is $610 billion (3.1% of GDP) the UK still spends 1.8% of GDP on “defence” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_military_expenditures.
If growing debt can be serviced by a growing economy –
Why do you imagine a dollar collapse is any more likely than a sterling collapse?
Why do you imagine re-implementation of a gold standard would prevent debt fueled wars?
Debt is a form of wealth https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/analysis-and-features/global-debt-crisis-explained-all-time-high-world-economy-causes-solutions-definition-a8143516.html
Perhaps their “calculus” is that GDP growth (due to war trophies) is greater than the cost of servicing the required debt?
The following article dissects the financing of our recent wars and compares the borrowing syndrome to earlier strategies to fund war.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/49734.htm
“Credit-Card Wars
How America’s Wars Fund Inequality at Home”
By Stephanie Savell
From that piece:
“During prior wars, the U.S. adjusted its budget accordingly by, among other options, raising taxes to pay for its conflicts. Not so since 2001, when President George W. Bush launched the “Global War on Terror.” Instead, the country has accumulated a staggering amount of debt. Even if Washington stopped spending on its wars tomorrow, it will still, thanks to those conflicts, owe more than $8 trillion in interest alone by the 2050s.”
Katherine
“By Stephanie Savell”
The article says nothing of the related economic “benefits” of these wars – for example https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/03/what-you-need-to-know-about-global-arms-sales-in-6-charts
Quote:
US extends its lead
During the five years between 2013–17, the United States accounted for 34% of all arms exports.
Its exports increased by 25% between 2008–12 and 2013–17, and were 58% higher than Russia’s — the second largest arms exporter during the period.
The United States supplied major arms to 98 countries. Exports to states in the Middle East accounted for 49% of its total arms exports in the period.
“Based on deals signed during the Obama administration, US arms deliveries in 2013–17 reached their highest level since the late 1990s,” said Dr Aude Fleurant, Director of the SIPRI Arms and Military Expenditure Programme.
“These deals and further major contracts signed in 2017 will ensure that the USA remains the largest arms exporter in the coming years.”
End Quote
If the US economy continues to grow at a rate which permits servicing of its debt then there is no reason to imagine default on the required 2050 $8 trillion interest.
You forgot to mention an important detail regarding exports. Some “exports” need imports first before being assembled into the respective product. Did the US factories purchase raw materials for their exports solely from US based mining companies with the raw materials based in the US? If you subtract the spent money on raw materials and supplies, you’ll get numbers which are closer to reality.
Full spectrum brainwashing is now so effective some people claim they can no longer be lied to. Think again Real History.
If one reads enough. you can see the NYT lies and the echo chamber returning with messaging by paragraph the same.
The MSM is in severe trouble. They cannot recover their credibility for some time with thinking adults.
Watching this weeks rollout of stories Carolyn Glick for one on BB – all coordinated across media lines
They will resort to open repression. Just check out the semi-fascistic legislation rammed through the Austfailian pig-sty that they call ‘Parliament’. All aimed at China, on US orders, with vicious provisions that more or less criminalise any contact with Chinese organisations, academia or even individuals. Passed with bi-partisan support amidst a tornado of hate-mongering by the fakestream media, parliamentary ex-military types recently working with US Special Forces death-squads in Afghanistan, and ‘think-tanks’ financed by the likes of Lockheed and Raytheon etc.
are you serious Real History?
the impression you give is that the capitalist and his system will just wither away, leaving us all free to proceed with whatever, in whatever form of society that remains?
but dont you see the police state/Brave New World being built around you, taking solid shape?
that is our future unless there is a spontaneous revolutionary surge by the people the puts an end to capitalism finally. PCR is right..we are finished if corporate power prevails.
but PCR is not ‘leftist’ as he calls it, so he he does not see and acknowledge the only power that can save humanity at this stage…the spontaneous power of the people, rising, out in the streets finally eliminating capitalism by force of the collective power, that is greater than all other political powers, creating at the same time, the new socially organizing forms that would take us forward in democracy.
these new forms would be driven and disciplined by simple popular/general need…what they people need for survival immediately and into the future..how to get that and keep it going for all the people. the people in ‘revolutionary’ action are out there because of need, collective survival..therefor what they create will be democratic, socialist, to meed the needs of all
I do not see any other way forward, I do not see any other social other capable of belling the capitalist/bureaucratic forms, in whose interest a totally democratic form of social organization is the answer. all other potentials are minority and walk with minority forms of power that will lead to more divisive forms of social organization and control, exploitation and inequality
it is either popular uprising in the US, Europe, Russia, India, China or ultimately the corporate state wins. the capitalist nationalism of Putin’s Russia, China, the Capitalism if India etc wont work. these stand strong in the face of imperial depredation. but they are capitalist and exploitative and their contradictions are roosting, coming home. they actually have more in common with the empire, which is why I am always fearful of collusion between the elites..the leadership classes of all the capitalist countries..Russia and China included.
I have faith only in the revolutionary potential of the people in collective movement creating as they go what they need to survive..leading soon to planned economy by the people for the people, created, established and managed, and run by the people, every day..period
the social experience of capitalism has prepared the people for rise and spontaneous social creation minus organizing ‘vanguard’ political party that turn into the reaction to the revolution, killing it and reasserting a social domination of its very own. there is no longer any need for vanguard political parties..which parties always contain the reaction
The article by Chris Hedges is justly praised by Craig Roberts — and IMO unjustly criticised for “Left Leaning”. I do not think the U$ political malfunction which Roberts knows from the inside can be repaired by insiders. That a U$ Putin might arise from the CIA and save the country is not inconceivable but I do not believe that such an exceptional event is probable in the highly conformist U$ social setup. A far more likely path to salvation IMO is the one adumbrated by Hedges; with a signpost reading, To the Left. Trade unions, coops, local and global solidarity of the Comrades, The People (Das Volk, if you like).
The last thing the Deep State and the Greedy Globalists want is a nuclear war. There’s no money to be made is such apocalypse. There’s no land to grab. There’s no clean air to breathe. Probably, no food or safe water for the survivors, if there are any.
Chaos, conflicts, regionalized proxy wars, terrorism, pandemics—okay with the psychopaths and sociopaths. They survive and so does their wealth and power structures.
As for Putin intimidated or limited by his own values, abiding by the Constitution and statutes of government, perhaps we have 18 years of proof. But never did he judge those decisions against the survival and rise of Russia. He would pull the trigger himself if shooting his enemies and the traitors was necessary for the good of Russia and its people.
What Putin has done is given Russian society a new Russian ethos. A lot of which is based on old, fundamental values with roots in a 1000 year old history. He has connected tomorrow with yesterday (the good yesterday of heroes, family, language, arts, nature and joy of life.) And the people have responded to his vision with a massive popularity and vote for his Presidency.
Putin has a weapon loaded to use any time he is forced to—the people who hate the Fifth Column/Liberals. They would approve anything existential he decides to do. There will be no coup, no assassination, no stopping Putin without a total civic response that liquidates the traitors. And Putin has as strong a security services at his back, as powerful military at his back than any man on Earth has ever had.
It is not just Putin’s decision to not eliminate the Liberals. It is a consensus among his power group who see Russia rising and the seditious as brown, lifeless leaves falling away on their own. They cling to their desks by their fingertips.
The Liberals hold positions but no power. They have their orders from Putin in his six-year plan. If they do not perform, they will be excised from the Kremlin and their influence will end forever.
“You’re Fired!” will be VVP’s decision, ironically, something very possible in the RF but very, very impossible for DJT in the USA. One man has moral and legal authority, while the other only has his Twitter account.
There is something else Putin is doing. Remember Alexei Ulyukayev? Putin can simply wait, and the liberals will simply fall into their own corruption. The liberals can’t stay away from corruption.
@ Larchmonter445,
Excellent analysis of the contrast. Mr. Putin has the support of the security services, while Mr. Trump has them in opposition.
Some of us almost expected Trump to get the JFK treatment before inauguration, so great was the furor of the ‘news’ agencies.
No-the global ruling parasite class will not allow thermo-nuclear war. They would not survive in the first place, and all their lovely wealth would be destroyed.
They do, however, have a great problem with the 90% or so of ‘useless eaters’ on the planet. The rulers no longer require them for their increasingly meagre and debt-fueled consumption. Raising the billions in the poor world to even a modest standard of living would hasten the ecological collapse Holocaust even more. And they are no longer needed for their exploited toil, in an age of automation, computerisation, artificial intelligence and robotisation.
So how to be rid of them before they revolt and overturn the parasites’ lovely world? The answer is obvious-biowarfare, which will preserve the planet’s property, once the robots have cremated all the corpses.
Already the US Pentagon has established a global archipelago of biowarfare research institutes. One, in the fascist principality of Georgia, the Lugar centre, has almost certainly been involved in introducing new diseases to Georgia and new arthropod vectors of contamination, for field research in the Georgian countryside. And these global centres have been engaged in a planet-wide collection program to gather as many DNA, blood, tissue (including neoplasms) etc samples from as many human populations as possible. And recombinant DNA ‘research’ is proceeding, no doubt in search of novel pathogens, and the Unholy Grail, ethnically specific diseases that will afflict certain groups alone.
Such research was undertaken by Israel and South Africa during the years of their close alliance, and I would bet that it continues today in Israel’s biowarfare establishment. Of course, if such weapons cannot be developed, or their use is considered too blatant, inviting thermo-nuclear retaliation, a program of pre-operational, and secret, immunisation for the elite might be easier to hide. Then, when the ‘mysterious pandemic’ is raging (so very often predicted by the fakestream media lately)the survival of the rich and powerful could be hidden away from the panicked masses. Whatever, the ruling psychopaths are, undoubtedly, quite capable of such a universal genocide, so grotesque is their hatred of others.
History will conclude if Trump was under the control of the Deep State before or after he became President. What made no sense during Trumps election campaign was the fact that he had the support of 200 active and retired admirals and generals. Why ? Why would so many senior military men support a 70 year old man who had no military or political experience, unless they needed a puppet in the White House.
What has Trump achieved after becoming President ? He went against his campaign promises. He has not improved relations with Russia, expelling Russian diplomats and seizing Russian diplomatic property. He has beefed up US troops in Europe, as well as in Syria and Afghanistan. He has attacked Syria twice, both times without declaration of war. He has sent the US Navy to the North Korean coast, hoping for regime change and getting a tactical defeat, as Kim did not back down. He has increased sanctions against Russia, even threatening EU firms if they participated in the building of the Nord Stream – 2 gas pipeline, to the astonishment of Europe. He is picking political and economic fights with Iran, China and others. Who benefits from all this ? The Deep State perhaps ?
If Trump and Putin do meet, what will have been achieved ? Virtually nothing. Trump is going as an errand boy for the Deep State, seeing if he can get any concessions. He won’t get any. Why should Putin concede, when Trump is making enemies left, right and center.
When Russia is in question, we are again seeing too much attention being give to Atlanticists and the liberals around them, known as the Fifth Column. These people are a minority in Russian society. Yes, they do have a certain amount of power, especially the oligarchs. Even so, they are a minority. I find it difficult to believe that this minority can go against Putin’s Office and all the civilian and military institutions of the country. When Putin gave instructions for the building of the Crimean bridge at Kerch, the task was given
to Arkady Rotenberg’s Stroygazmontazh corporation. Rotenberg, by the way, is a Russian Jew. The 19 km bridge was built in 2 1/2 years, a feat no Western corporation could have managed in such a short period of time. Putin instructed and Rotenberg delivered. Why didn’t Rotenberg disobey, bearing in mind the West tried to prevent the building of the bridge ?
When Putin won the last elections, not even Soros controlled NGO’s in Russia bothered with any street demonstrations against Putin, knowing in advance they would achieve nothing, as they would get little, if any support from the Russian population.
Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is an excellent analyst, and I read him all the time. He has always been correct in his analysis of Western intentions towards Russia. However, his grasp of the internal situation in Russia has not always been accurate, as he does not live in the country and relies on sources. For example he has – correctly – pointed to the activities of NGO’s in Russia, warning that they would instigate a color revolution in the country. Well, they tried that, and the results were pathetic. However, Dr.Roberts was not aware that Russia has expelled quite a number of subversive NGO’s.
Dr.Roberts has written excellent analysis of the economic and financial situation in the US. This situation is the key to the current conflict between the US on the one hand, and Russia, China and others on the other hand.
The US has the largest foreign and domestic debt in the world, while the dollar is printed in huge amounts backed by nothing. This cannot be maintained permanently. As political economist Lyndon LaRouche has stated, the only thing that can save the US dollar is the break up of Russia and the plunder of Siberia and the Caspian region, two of the richest in the world. NATO’s encirclement of Russia is proof of this. The West tried to destabilize Russia, hoping it would break up, after which NATO would march in in order to introduce “democracy: and protect “human rights”, opening the door to Western corporations and the plunder of the country, as is being done in Ukraine. It did not happen.
We now have a very uncomfortable stalemate for the US. It has gigantic economic and financial problems, while NATO is costing 2 billion dollars a day to maintain, the bulk payed by the US. Russia and China are on the rise, creating the BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Silk Road. Both are preparing to introduce gold backed currencies, waiting for the right time. And the US ? It is just increasing the number of it’s enemies, making enemies even in Europe.
As I have written, Trump is being sent to see what he can get in the way of concessions. He will get almost nothing. The stalemate will go on but will not last for ever. American analysts are warning that a civil war in the US is possible, either a ‘soft” political one, or a “hot” military one, of the type which already occurred between 1861-1865. Time is not on the side of the US. Both Russia and China know this, and both are playing the waiting game. Europe is watching.
It seems obvious that the underlying rationale of the Eurasian Economic Union is pretty much the same as that of the EU.
To create a single market of contiguous countries.
This seemed to be the idea behind NAFTA as well. So why is Trump torpedoing it?
Not that I was ever supporter of NAFTA, since the negatives for real people, non-corporations, were obvious from the get-go.
But it looks like these “single market” deals are coming apart at the seams in the EU and NAFTA and the only one that is potentially functional is the Eurasian Economic Sphere (or whatever it is called).
The USA seems ever more isolated on its island offshore to the left of Europe or the right of Asia, whichever way you prefer to look at it. It was really silly of Obama to think that two oceans are stronger “connecting” geographical features than solid land: that the West Coast of the USA is naturally linked to Asia and the East Coast naturally linked to Europe, and the USA is in the center of the economic world. Hail the new age of rail.

I am afraid you got it wrong. The EU is an economic and political institution, which has the aim of curtailing the status of sovereign European states, placing their government institutions under EU control. It’s basically a private empire of private bankers, bearing in mind the EU Central Bank is in the hands of private bankers, as is the Fed in the US.
The Eurasian Economic Union is an economic institution, respecting the sovereign status of countries. This is the reason why it is becoming so attractive.
However, when it comes to the US, you are correct. It is becoming isolated. The Atlantic and the Pacific have turned it into an island, all the more so bearing in mind the imperial policies of Washington DC, which are turning the world away from the US.
It is the rapid development of various countries like China etc, including Iran, that lead to the US isolating itself. the US cannot dominate the globe, and the politics of the US won’t allow it to integrate, so it has to isolate itself.
Thanks for your insights.
Mr.. Trump’s worst enemy is his gigantic ego.
come off it…there is no civil war coming anyplace in america..except at wal marts on black friday.
tRump is an idiot who got elected explained by hedges…but he has zero knowledge and even less ability.
no one is telling him what to do..he is just that inept…i have no idea where you get your numbers from…but NATO is not costing 2 BILLION dollars a day..jeez…
why in hell would some unknown deep state want that fool as front man when he has done nothing but created enemies…..yes..his racism hold onto his base….but i see no advantage having him over hillary clinton…to achieve what you claim he is being “sent”…to do…since..he has failed at everything..even NK..which was handed to him on a silver platter.
Very good comment, and very accurate in my opinion. I agree with your assessment. Recently I viewed an interview with Warren Pollock. Mr. Pollock mentioned that we in the West are in a era of asset stripping and fleecing of the public. He feels that this era will be one of an endurance test. Those that can survive the fleecing will survive the test.
Much in the same way the Pollock describes the current era for the individual citizen, so too does this make sense for US-Russia/Sino relations. Both Russia and China are keenly aware the US will not be able to support its hegemonic influence both in economic and militarily for an indefinite period of time. A time will come where the US and her reserve currency status will be questioned. Her internal contradictions will come to the forefront and in time she will be forced to retreat from the global stage much in the came way the empires of old were.
They support him because they know that Mossad and the Zio-Globalists had a little coup here called 9/11, duh. Wake (Removed language.MOD).
There may be hope, people.
I previously dismissed QAnon, as either a LARP, psyop or distraction. I was on the fence for months.
But the momentum for TRUTH has been building. The Q movement is very likely real. I am now of the opinion, with 80% certainty, that Q is legit. The Q movement is about to take down the ENTIRE central banking system and expose the centuries-old cabal of evil once and for all.
CONSPIRACY NO MORE.
July 2018 is the month where the movement erupts from the depths of the internet and goes fully operational.
Attack mode.
And yes, there is the 20% chance that Q is instead the final elite psyop, before fully implementing the NWO and that Trump is just another Rothschild puppet. But I don’t think so. I really don’t. This time, things appear to be different.
After delving deep into Q for months now, and after 20 years of my own conspiracy research, this movement almost certainly legit and being led by White Hats inside military intelligence. It is a plan decades in the making.
Patriots have been activated.
Give this YouTube video a chance and then dig deeper. It’s happening.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMlfALvRUXY
“White Hats inside military intelligence”
The only one I know of is General Michael Flynn. He’s under indictment and plea bargain, prepped for prison by Mueller.
You think there are more than one?
There are no White Hats in the US, much less in the military, much less in Intel.
Flynn is protected. He will not go to prison.
There are many White Hats in America. Millions of them. The not-so-silent majority is awakening at a rapid speed. And yes, that includes in the US military. The MSM will never tell you this.
I know it’s easy to be cynical. I’ve been researching conspiracy stuff for 20 years, so few people were as cynical as I was. I completely rejected QAnon. Too good to be true. I could never trust anyone in the US military, etc., etc. But that was simply cynicism clouding my objective judgment. After taking a second look and diving deep into the Q posts for several months now, the picture is apparent. There ARE white hats in government. Many of them in fact. I would go so far as saying that MOST people in government actually want to do good but are overridden by the evil power structure. As conspiracy researchers, most of us have completely overlooked the good, as we focused exclusively on the evil. But there was always good. And the good people have spent decades working on this problem and finally came up with a PLAN.
Just look at what happened in the Koreas. Look at what the MSM had been saying about that situation and then look at the actual RESULTS.
Look at how the ENTIRE MSM has been vilifying Trump to the Nth degree. Have they EVER done that to any previous president? WHY are they doing this? WHAT are they afraid of?
Over the next few months, the entire WORLD will be rocked by what is about to transpire. If you want to know more, read up on what’s happening.

I think the Saker will be pleasantly pleased with what is about to go down. I know he will! His work, along with the work of so many other Truthers over the past two decades has not been in vain. People have been paying attention, including very powerful people who were patriots.

I have posted some things about Q. Including the the video you attempted to link (It does not open for me in your comment above…let’s try a different link of the same thing:
https://youtu.be/6cYZ8dUgPuU
Not only is it happening, it is happening MUCH faster than most people here are on to yet. Most people miss the boat most of the time…..even if it is intelligently “debunking” the Q Phenomenon….I have not seen that done well at all yet, on this site or anywhere, (Corsi’s irritation with Q is just lame egoism…..the money grubbing Zionist….) although there is a major section of Neon’s comment below, a link to MSM having to deal with it now. I will link that part at the end if I can find it.
Many lousy (well, not so good, to be charitable…) Q commenters, trying to do their part. But some others are more than occasionally quiteexcellent, for example:
Neon Revolt today: https://www.neonrevolt.com/2018/06/30/do-not-be-afraid-newq-qanon-greatawakening/
If you want meat and potatoes and several other courses, Neon serves it up. Already different from what I read a few hours ago…..sorry MSM article should be there but I don’t see it now
Neon and Serial Brain 2 are as sharp as anyone you will see on the internet anywhere, discussing the Need To Take Down The Cabal. It takes time,so I don’t disregard Saker or London Paul or LPAC for not covering the phenomenon. They may soon enough, though, if I may be so bold as to make a prediction.
And don’t miss Praying Medic’s primer before you dive deeper…..
https://youtu.be/nKH_hEiuw10 Q For Beginners
Notice, Anonymous, that Praying Medic does more than pray.
Work at it a little and get up to speed.
Otherwise, you get frustrated and give up….because it’s not what you’re used to and it takes time…..but it’s worth it……. Remember my prediction…..this is going to get a lot bigger….real fast. In July. TOMORROW………Otherwise Trump and Putin wouldn’t even be able to meet yet.
“Russia-gate” crumbling…..noose tightening around the Cabal. The tables are being turned. Q is not hopium…..anything that has got masses and masses of people thinking harder than ever before in their lives (some mistakes are part of the process….no complaining!) can hardly be a negative development.DUH!!!
Too much pessimism here. We’re winning, unless JFK # 2 (er…is that 7 or 8??) happens…..which is always a vulnerability when too many people are confused and playing into enemy hands and psyops.
Which makes PCR’s article here quite timely…..if you just don’t allow his characteristic pessimism and complaining to rub off on you.
Bro 93,
Great comment and yes, I am hip to all the sources you mentioned, devouring all their videos and articles in the last couple of months.
Hopefully Saker and just about everyone else in the alternative news space gets into Q soon, even if it is from a semi-critical angle. We need all brains!
As I mentioned, there is a slim chance that Q is the ultimate psyop (we’ve been fooled so many times before by the elite) so I wouldn’t be surprised if a small percentage of alternative writers never get on board. Webster Tarpley, for one, really surprises me with all his anti-Trump, pro-democrat rhetoric. I wonder if “they” got to him or if he really believes everything he’s written lately…
With every passing day, Q gets more legit. I’m at 80% belief now and if Q’s July predictions come true, I will climb to to 95%.
WE’RE ACTUALLY WINNING, FOLKS!
I know that’s hard to believe, since we’ve been losing for so many decades…
But NOW IS THE TIME to get involved. The tide is turning and the masses need to fully awake and turn this into a tsunami!!
A NEW WORLD is being born. A better one.
As the old saying goes, “It’s always darkest before the dawn.” And hasn’t the last 17 years been that very darkness?
The good news is that the DAWN IS HERE!
It’s a great time to be alive.
“A NEW WORLD is being born. A better one.”
Why, what’s going to happen?
Will the Indian Maharajas (or the Queen of England) be hung from the nearest tree?
Will Apple stop paying FOXCONN to make their iphones in the Chinese slave factories? (the same ones you imagine are pulling hundreds of millions of Chinese out of poverty)?
You are free to hope all you want. The more things change the more they stay the same.
To find out who rules over you find out who you are not allowed to criticize.
Now,i am also an optimist and just like you I “Hope” that Q and Trump are real but the only sane thing i found to help is to pray to god to save this planet from evil that is plaguing it.
There is great solace in knowing that in the end god will and does win. There will be pain, but in the end evil will be vanquished.
.
HH…..not to worry about your Q link being disabled in the US.
It is going somewhat “viral” (a few million views soon?) as Jordan Sather reports today in the first few minutes of his video:
https://youtu.be/3VJvZsz9VQk
400,000 + views on the main video………….already…..and being spread around rapidly by twitter accounts of many other who have tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands that follow them……
The only thing that’s happening is the umpteenth false hope psyop.
Everybody please watch above linked short video (13 min.), not because it is necessarily ‘true’, but because it perfectly represents the narrative of one side of the deep state mafia wars currently consuming the upper echelons of the all-Zionist power structures of the USA.
This is a historic document, a prime example of perfectly scripted, professionally produced propaganda with mass appeal.

Tikkun olam– I kind of hate using alien concepts, but that is the message I am getting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tikkun_olam
I should try and flesh out what I think about “Q.” It does seem to mirror a version (simulacrum?) of the “real world” or the “deep political world.” This is in itself not new, works of fiction have done and do the same. Dean Koontz novels have been a guilty pleasure of mine, most notably the Jane Hawk series, where the eponymous FBI agent is forced to go rogue to avenge her husband’s death and protect her son’s life — and save the world.
If it is true that the political realm is accessed through symbolic means (David Kertzer Ritual, Politics and Power), I would say that Q is a fiction, within a fiction–our political discourse.
There is a lot more one could say, for example, the cognitive dissonance of America in its founding, “The City on the Hill’ and America in what it does (wars, MK Ultra criminality). And then there is the notion of political theology, which I am in the process of trying to get my head around.
“Give this YouTube video a chance and then dig deeper. It’s happening.”
The video starts well.

“Reagan also had good intentions for the American people”
Where they really good intentions? just as with his Crony Capitalist Oligarch chum (Thatcher) … not a bit of it!
e.g.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/analysis-and-features/the-wealth-that-failed-to-trickle-down-report-suggests-rich-do-get-richer-while-poor-stay-poor-9989183.html
Quote
It started out as a joke: “Money was appropriated for the top in hopes that it would trickle down to the needy,” quipped the American humorist, and one-time circus cowboy, Will Rogers, during the Great Depression. But in the 1980s, in the age of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, politicians began to take trickle-down seriously. Or at least they seemed to do so.
Trickle-down can be (very loosely) characterised as the idea that reducing the tax burden on the well-off is, in the end, good for everyone. A wealthy person’s taxes are reduced and his disposable income increases. The wealthy person spends the extra income on a new mansion, or luxury goods, or lavish holidays. The estate agent, the luxury manufacturer and the tourist resort’s profits increase. Those firms then invest the profits, expanding their capacity, creating new jobs in the process. That additional investment boosts income and employment.

A bit of inequality is good as it creates incentives for hard work and rewards entrepreneurship. Lots of inequality is bad, disenfranchises segments of society and erodes the social fabric,” says Mohamed El-Erian, the former chief executive of the world’s largest bond investment fund, Pimco. Harvard University’s Ken Rogoff, often cited by George Osborne as an economic authority, has said he thinks the United States needs more progressive taxation, particularly directed at the top 0.1 per cent.

“Good patriots in the US military”
Patriots, by definition, are not necessarily good – 88% of Israeli’s are proud of their nation.
Presumably the good patriot being referred to had no inkling, on joining the US military, that the global cabal now under scrutiny existed.
So, on joining the US military is this “Good patriot” someone:
1. who wishes to maintain/increase the economic competitive advantage of the US nation state by
the projection of national military power
or
2. someone who wishes to only protect the US nation state against the occurrence of
military power projection against it by another nation state seeking economic competitive
advantage against the US
?
The first option makes this “Good Patriot” an individual motivated by the worst of intentions but the second option is the result of an individual motivated by good intentions.
Mr Masepoes wishes to channel our thoughts to presume the first option is the case (i.e. motivated by good intentions) – but is that really true?
The rest of the video is predicated on Trump being an American patriot.
However, if he is not actually a member of the Global Cabal, there is nothing to make one imagine that he is not an option 1 patriot described above i.e. a Nationalist Conservative Crony Capitalist who would have no qualms projecting any type of power (military or economic) to benefit a small elite of US based Nationalist Conservative Crony Capitalists.

That is simple obfuscation – he’s supporting the real Islamic hardliners (Saudi) in their genocide of Yemen:

A prediction:
is that the USD will remain the reserve currency (until it is replaced sometime by the equally horrendous Renminbi when the new empire supersedes) and that marginal tax rates will continue to reduce for this elite group of Americans all while “millions” of disenfranchised working class US “patriots” sign up for the US military to continue bombing Syria (and similar) and protect the CIA while the real cabal continue to organise Afghan drug imports:

During the Kennedy administration, between 1961 and 1963, the U.S. suspended economic and/or broke off diplomatic relations with several countries which had dictatorships or socialist democracies, including Argentina, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Peru. The suspensions lasted for periods of three weeks to six months.

In every society there’s always the luciferian class who will do anything for material gain. For them the world start and end with material success, the West have always succeeded in finding these willing weapons (traitors or mercenaries) in every society that has stood in opposition to them.
The survival of such opposing society depends on how it handle these sell swords, if they are allowed to fester they destroy the values of the societal fabrics.
As for the nuclear weapons, Iran or rather Iran clerical leaders have been able to diagnose this for what it really is, a waste of resources and rape of the society. In the annals of history, how many time have nuclear weapons been used?
How much have the maintenance of these WMD cost the host society?
Imagine what social benefits this money could generate for centuries, but they have consistently become a source of corruption and exploitation for the military industrial complex who nevertheless, would never want the world to be destroyed because of their strong attachment to the ephemeral world.
A weapon race is futile exercise, history will judge who is right and who is wrong.
”What happens if the Russian people rise up against the Russian Fifth Column and if the oppressed American people rise up against the extractions of the military/security complex? What happens if neither population rises up?”
Firstly, there is no such thing as an ”oppressed American people”. The US is the world’s paradigmatic Oppressor nation with a most convincing national character pertaining to it. US Americans live in the most powerful country on the planet; they can feed themselves to obesity; a US minimum wage earner belongs to the richest 15% of the global population. For all their ignorance and self-pitying, US Americans are way too class-conscious to stir up trouble regarding the extractions of the military/security complex. Really, if these extractions stopped, the West’s living standards would plummet as the lifestyles of Westerners would begin to reach an equilibrium with the rest of the planet.
Secondly, the answer to the question ”What happens if neither population rises up?” is that it depends entirely on Russia. The US population remains highly addicted to want-on violence, drugs, and poisoned foodstuff to the point of mental depletion — it has no role to play in an international context. If the Russian population doesn’t rise up, that could either be because the Russian government ”continues to deliver” as it has for nearly two decades, or because of a mortal stab in the back. In the latter case, the US population will — at the very least — let out a huge sigh of relief once it dawns upon it that Russia will be raped and enslaved for the benefit of freedom and democracy, plus the solemn promise that this time around, victory will be final and total.
If the Russian people rise up against Russia’s Western traitors, the collapse of Western imperialism is imminent. In this case, the US population will be paralyzed while furious at the US Government for not doing anything to save Russian democracy.
Firstly, there is no such thing as an ”oppressed American people”
Really? I just took from Detroit to Chicago.
Would you like to know what I saw?
My favorite voice crying out in the wilderness is Paul Craig Roberts and this is an excellent presentation of the matter soon to be at hand in Helsinki on 7/16/18 ..

Is it possible that Putin is “keeping his fren-enemies close” and may just be edging Medvedev out on a limb? This great leap forward of his will test the limits of many people and institutions by necessity just in order to be pulled off. Medvedev does embody the demon ( if you will allow this harsh metaphor) of greed and it might be useful perhaps that he be out in open display. He was quick to put up under the distraction of the world cup a decree scr-wing the Russian worker. It was an easy, class based solution, but not a very wise one. Here in the US, the pensions and social security spent by the elders actually go back into the local economy in very basic ways—rent, food, medical care etc. and these days helping the educational expenses of the grandchildren.
Of course, it is cheaper if elders conveniently die off before retirement and that implication is certainly obvious to those in Russia opposing the retirement age increase. It should at least be pegged to life expectancy statistics. And will the Russian millennials when they reach old age want to retire or will they start to redefine old age in ways that maybe the age of retirement will not be such a trigger issue in the future?
I don’t see Putin as isolated–he has the military and the institutions of State force on his side. Trump has a coup being organized against him by a hydra like committee spanning the CIA-FBI-units of the military in conjunction with the 4th Estate including the elite realms of the techno-intelligentsia . If there is such an attempt to organize a similar thing in Russia, I’m sure it would be much more fragmented and hence, less effective.
The problem in the USA is that we, the underclass, are just allowed glimpses of the Beast’s claws as the distracting political theater of the absurd is played before us. Better surrealism than realism. There are no organized political parties supporting Trump—Putin has those. And, better yet, he gets to trash ( politely of course) before the whole nation during his annual conference with the Nation these 5th column opportunists who dare pooh-pooh that NATO is a threat to Russia . He did that a year ago to this character Venediktov.
The only ones Trump gets to trash directly is impolite, annoying reporters from CIA-CNN who scream invective at him and leave the American people as confused as ever and tuned out.
Putin has the ear as well as the heart and head of Russia –the indigestion offered by the Western-oriented elites can be passed easily as noxious gas. One can hope.
Nah. The so-called deep state is…are the Zionists. All the positions of power (in fact all the branches of government) are being sat upon by the Elephant in the Room ;)
And don’t forget Zionist control of the media and academia; the techno-sphere; finance (mais qui!).
All the culture-makers, law-makers and money-makers are Zionist controlled. The deep-state meme is misdirection, in my opinion.
@Flopot
You hit the nail on the head there. Could this deep-state meme be their product?
“The New York Times, which last told the truth in the 1970s when it published the leaked Pentagon Papers and had the fortitude to stand up for its First Amendment rights,”
18% of the male age group went to Vietnam. Making the newspapers heroes for publishing the Pentagon papers when they should have reported the very same facts based on talking to a handful of the returning soldiers is crazy. We should really be damning them for missing the story for 10 years and only finding it when it was leaked to them.
At least it only took 5 years or less for the press to work out what Iraq and Afghanistan were about.
Helsinki is Trump’s move. Putin will get nothing he might want if he asks, or bargains or accepts ‘offers’.
He should just listen to what Trump says.
List a few good suggestions. (like Intermediate Nuke Treaty) (500 mile pullback of NATO) (counter-terrorism in Afghanistan or Africa) (fortnightly FaceTime get-togethers to stay in communication).
Basically, if sanctions don’t end and US doesn’t go back into its barracks, nothing will change.
Clearly, it is Trump who needs deals. He needs the summit, he needs a press conference and he needs the historic impact of being the Big Cheese.
Russia merely wants to be left alone. Since that won’t be on the agenda, this is a social meeting.
There are no gains to be got from the Hegemon.
Last days of the USSR
The roles of Gorbachev and Yeltsin in the coup that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union remain elusive.
The coup began on a hot Sunday afternoon. Shortly before five o’clock on August 18 1991, five black Volga cars arrived at the gates of Foros, the holiday retreat of the president of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Mikhail Gorbachev, on the Black Sea coast of Crimea. No one was expecting them, and the guards did not initially open the gates or remove the chains of tyre puncture spikes lying across the road.
Then General Yuri Plekhanov, the head of the ninth directorate of the KGB, stepped out of the first car.
During the next 73 hours, played out 20 years ago this weekend, two rival cadres at the top of the Soviet hierarchy fought to wrest control of history. The delegation that arrived at Foros had in fact been sent by Kryuchkov to recruit Gorbachev to the side of eight party bosses and generals who had formed a state emergency committee, known by its clumsy Russian initials “GKChP”, to take temporary control of the Soviet Union. They had made their move because two days later, on August 20, Gorbachev was due to sign a new union treaty that would transform the USSR into a confederation, which many feared would precipitate its disintegration into dozens of independent states. The GKChP’s objective was to persuade Gorbachev to declare a state of emergency, and delay the treaty.
The putsch achieved the opposite effect, of course. Not only did the intervention of the generals fail to hold together the USSR, it ensured the rise of the reformer, Boris Yeltsin, the newly-elected president of the Russian Soviet Republic, to unrivalled dominance in the land. Communist hardliners everywhere were stripped of their legitimacy. In trying to save the union, the leaders of the coup drove a stake through its heart. Four months later, the USSR was no more.
But what exactly happened during those three tense August days remains surprisingly opaque, even today. Despite two decades of analysis – 140 volumes of documents, three investigations, nine trials, and at least a dozen published personal accounts – a full history of the GKChP has stubbornly refused to emerge.

The story I heard some time ago was that Gorbachev was ‘The West’s man’, and that he had been so for many years and was simply waiting.
I do not know how true the story was, but I do know that the Russians were always aware that the West could not be trusted, not then, not today.
If Gorbachev was the West’s man, then who and what was Yeltsin who ordered the bombing of the Russian Parliament? That the west had the time and opportunity to feast on the body of the USSR was not incidental, but planned, much the same that Soros used the 1990’s to plunder the Asian seven tigers as well as Australia which was a US vassal state.
I wonder as to the possibility that the GKChP was aware that Gorbachev was a traitor to the USSR?
I have heard from Swiss sources, that before the collapse of the Soviet Union
all the Russian Gold was transfered to Zuerich, Switzerland. To who’s credit I wonder?
Was this gold perhaps used to buy up half of today’ Russia by the 5th column?
The deep state is afraid Putin might move away from confrontation with Russia at their Summit, and they might be moved to assassinate Trump. And PCR has bought into Saker’s anxieties about a fifth column in Russia. And to top off this fearfest, PCR opines that if he is correct, “humanity is finished”.
Although all of this is possible, I would submit that it is a long way from certain. Let’s not be like Chicken Little, and turn what is only a bad day into a global nightmare.
President Putin is tackling corruption in Russia.
In the US such action would not be possible because it is the regime itself which is corrupt
http://vestnikkavkaza.net/news/Putin-approves-National-Anti-Corruption-Plan-for-2018-2020.html
“Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree approving the National Anti-Corruption plan for 2018-2020. The document is published on the official internet-portal of legal information.
The document provides for a number of assignments to various departments and officials in the fight against corruption.
So, the decree stipulates recommendations to the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Supreme Court, the Accounts Chamber, the Central Bank and the Central Election Commission on the implementation of the plan.”
I also suspect that when the US collapses the 5th column ,deprived of funders and backers will fade away.
Putin and Trump are not in the same situation when facing off against the fifth column/ deep state.
Putin was elected by an overwhemning popular majority of 77%. He has the power of the people behind him. In his cabinet he is surrounded by loyal patriots such as Shoigu and Lavrov. Yes, there are some dubious characters floating around, but as Saker has indicated, they are being challenged i.e. there is infighting between them and the Eurasion Sovereignists as the situation with the 20 year old feud regarding Ekho Moskvy has shown.
Trump lost the popular vote, only receiving about 40%. He won the presidency thanks to the electoral college system. He does not have the people behind him. He was very quickly forced to give up his two trusted advisors Flynn and Bannon and is now surrounded by neo-cons. His daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, both Zionists and Chabad Lyubavitch sect members, exert tremendous influence over him. I do not see the US rising up against the deep state under these circumstances. I do however still remain hopeful for Russia.

I thought this site had outgrown the “trump is a good guy besieged by bad guys” meme? Guess someone replaced the beer with kool-aid again…
as you should know by now, this site allows for different opinions and does not promote or endorse any memes. Finally, the “kool-aid” sentence contains no argument.
You can do better.

Divide & Conquer? What’s Really Behind Trump’s Hostility to the EU and NATO?
The NATO-related news was complimented by a report this week in the Washington Post that during his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in April, President Trump bluntly asked him “Why don’t you leave the EU?” Two unnamed European officials told the paper that Trump told Macron that Washington would offer France better trade deals if Paris left the EU bloc. The White House declined to comment on the report, but did not refute it.
https://sputniknews.com/analysis/201807011065937908-trump-nato-eu-policy-analysis/
Details on the Macron heart-to-heart follows a Trump rally in North Dakota this week, where the president told supporters that while Americans “love the countries of the European Union,” the bloc “was set up to take advantage of the United States. And you know what, we can’t let that happen.”
Is the dog trying to bite the Patron’s Hand?
Trump is complicated … and elusive … unpredictable … and dangerous.
“Trump is complicated … and elusive … unpredictable … and dangerous.”
Oh, boy, took the words right out of my mouth! Uncanny.
After reading Vot Tak’s comment, above, and the Saker’s reply, I was about to post
“The Trump phenomenon is extremely complex, perhaps more complex and elusive than any other president.” But I thought better of it: too vague, too banal. What do I actually mean? Not sure . . .
But since someone else sort of the same thing, I’ll just chime in.
Trump has more people scratching their heads—many of them (esp. on the left) making over-simplistic assessments of the man and the whole situation—than any other president, and that is saying a lot after the mind-bending phenomenon of Obama. Trump qua sphinx? Where are our cartoonists??
Katherine
“making over-simplistic assessments of the man”
A detailed appraisal then distilled to its essence would only contain that this Conservative Crony Capitalist Oligarch wishes to grab some more “p” & a few more $’s into the bargain.
Part of that plan entails that countless Syrians, Yemenese, Novorossian etc must die for fulfillment.
I have no trouble at all believing this. I had a good old Scotch social studies teacher who taught us – above all – to pay attention to world affairs and do my own cogitation on them – NOT let others do it for me.
Before I was 30, it was clear to me that humanity was on it’s way to a place from which there is no return. So I decided to just make the best of my part of the journey and hope that Gaia would take me before we all reach the edge of the abyss. But I’m 90 in Oct. – so waddaya think folks? Cutting it pretty fine, ain’t I?
International Talmudic Rabbinical Khazar Jews control the west, and somewhat Russia, through high finance.
They will not rest until Russia is dissolved and balkanized. Then their prime opponent will be China, whom they will try to isolate internationally. And block its access to materials needed for China;s sustainability.
Iran is a prime target too, as Iran is the last bastion of resistance in the Muslim world to the so called rotten of a deal ‘ deal of the century’, which calls for Muslims to essentially give up on Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem and the very notion of Palestine.
All this needs to be played out, with the building of the Third Temple in Jerusalem, on the site of the Dome of the Rock Mosque, at which these said Jews believe their true Messiah will come down and rule with an ‘ iron fist ‘ according to the late Ben Gurion, It is all taught through the insidious Talmud, a volume of raving and rantings, spanning many centuries, by diseased minds who preach inherent inhumane edicts and doctrines that are also blatantly racist and supremacist.
Their plans and plots will not come to be as planned, because the pesky Putin and Russia wont fully kneel, China is advancing in leaps and droves, and by 2025 will surpass the U.S. in military cabailities, economic progress, and is offering a better, fair, just and all around ‘win-win’ scenario for the 21st century and beyond. China comes to the table with massive investment, by way of huge grants, and/or low interest loans, and benefits the host countries by building up their infrastructure. Washington, at the behest of said Jews, who own the dollar, since 1913, come to the table with dictates, ultimatums, threats of coups, loan sharks IMF, World Bank, forever indebting sovereign countries under servitude and poverty.
The U.S.(Israel), Britain, France, Italy etc have got to abandon their pursuit to military conflict, as the writing is on the wall, and they are already beaten, especaially that they are in an incremental eviction from the wider Middle East after they have come to the realization that they cannot win against a very determined foe, especially Arabs, Persians and Afghans.
Its all one united axis of resistance that is destroying the U.S. / Israeli plan for the Middle East. From Yemen to Afghanistan, its all hostile territory for the U.S. and its coalition. In fact, there are some 14,000 Afghan volunteers fighting along side the Syrian Arab Army and NDF. Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen are all gearing up for a coming showdown, led by the Iranian IRGC, who most of the axis of resistance answer to, to Mr. Khamenei.
The Jews will want, push and get their regional war, but it wont go their intended way. The U.S., the west in general, are burnt out on war, especially in the Middle East, and the U.S. fighting forces cannot sustain themselves, even in their hundreds of thousands, in hostile country, against all their adversaries. It would entail unacceptable losses.
And you know whats most important, it really doesn’t matter which way Russia swings in the grand scheme of things, for I believe China will fill the void and saturate the Middle East with cheap weapons, and highly lethal.
.
Incredible, simply incredible, how similar the Washington Post and New York Times editorials are! Written by same people under marching orders from the same source, and the “free press” shows what it can do. Very clever of Chis Hedges to have spotted these two “editorials” and good of PCR to have spread this great article of Chris.
Incredible not because of their content – both have always been hysterical about Russia – but because the party line shows through so clearly.
Clean up your act media boys and gals, your slips are now beginning to show. Your pants may fall next
“Incredible, simply incredible, how similar the Washington Post and New York Times editorials are”
It is high time to overcome this “incredible, simply incredible… ” meme that has been planted into our minds in kindergarten, and that – for whatever psychological reasons – we still cling to, when in fact things are very simple:
Organized crime syndicates have ruled the Western world since the Roman Empire. Organized crime syndicates just happen to control the given media of the time with iron fist. That’s it!
ps.
And we humans, intelligent and resourceful as we are, have always managed to live dignified, rich and fulfilled existences despite being constantly harassed and heckled by said crime syndicates.
Thanks to PCR and the Saker for posting these editorials.
The level of delusion and confident assertions of nonsense is jaw-dropping.
Every clause contains a false premise or outright lie, or hubristic overreach of awesome proportions (such as the USA warning Syria what it and its allies can do in its own country; lthe ad nauseam repetition of what “U.S. intelligence” concludes re Russian election meddling; the broken-record plaint of annexation of Crimea and invasion of Ukraine; and on and on). Do regular Times and WaPo readers still believe this shite?
There just doesn’t seem to be a way to cut through the MSM BS.
Thank god for this blog, and a few others such as ConsortiumNews.
Otherwise I think I really would go mad.
Anyway, the effort to derail Trump to prevent any possibility that peace might break out is completely transparent from the disparaging and patronizing (i.e., Trump doesn’t know what he is doing; he could make major concessions to the Beast!!—this despite Trump’s being a Beast himself!! ) and even threatening way the news of the summit was greeted in the MSM press. All the tendentious ahemming in the MSM.
I am horrified at a lot that Trump has done and is doing. But I can’t help feeling somewhat gleeful at how he is pulling all these Deep State ahemmers’ chains and making them apoplectic. Probably their worst nightmare is Trump telling Putin: “I know you didn’t mess with our elections; I won fair and square!” Putin as an intelligent intelligence graduate might even have some practical advice for Trump on how to deal with the Long Knives at home.
I also appreciate PCR’s link to the Hedges essay, and his respect for Hedges’ p.o.v.
Hedges hits the nail on the head with his description of the rot in both established parties; elites.
Anyhow, wouldn’t it be great if Putin read Hedges’ piece before the summit? It ‘s on RT.
Katherine
well..i don’t know your age..but i can assure you that there have always been a few places to park for rest outside of the main stream..and without claiming who has known best i can unequivocally state that NOTHING they have illuminated has changed or even been slowed down…in the last 40 years.
Well, that didn’t take too long.
Qanon has been tweeting for regime change in Iran. A Jones has recently proclaimed that his “sources” say that Q is “real”. A strange 15 minute video, which to my eyes shows signs of more professional/paid production has appeared from sources unknown. The video has that eau de parfume of Kony 2012, to my nose anyway, of creation by someone who knows how to tug heartstrings and write propaganda. So, no matter what the chans might have started, someone somewhere is pushing millions of Q viewers in a neocon/neoliberal direction.
The only “awakening” that this will create is a bunch of people being led around in circles on YouTube screens, at best.
Wikileaks:
“Why is “Qanon leading anti-establishment Trump voters to embrace regime change and neo-conservatism?”

@Internal Exile USA
No, Alex Jones has not proclaimed Q to be real. In fact he and Jerome Corsi have done the exact opposite and claimed Q to be fake. The story behind that is a bit convoluted but the bottom line is that AJ and Corsi don’t like their spotlight (and money flow) diverted and have therefore chosen to divide the patriot movement and make false, unsupported claims against Q. Btw, I still credit Alex Jones with red-pilling millions of people (despite his blind spot for Israel) so I am not willing to throw AJ completely under the bus as many do by dismissing him as a “Zionist shill” etc.
It is Wikileaks that has recently been taken over by the deep state. They even released a fake Julian Assange video, using CGI to replicate him. I don’t have the link handy but there is a video breaking down the fake JA video showing tell-tale signs of computer manipulation. The Q group claims that Assange is in fact safe and under Q control, while the deep state now has control over the Wikileaks site and twitter.
Regime change in Iran certainly concerns me. But I retain an open mind. What I’ve learned thus far from following the Q movement is that we (meaning both the MSM *and* conspiracy researchers) were wrong about North Korea. The MSM was obviously deliberately lying to us, while the conspiracy community simply got it all wrong on North Korea. It turns out that country was *not* an independent nation but had been under the control of the CIA this entire time! The “axis of evil” attribution was pure theater.
The USA never had any intention of bombing/invading North Korea or doing regime change there. The deep state faction was instead planning on using North Korea as their private nuclear arsenal to foment WWIII. It was the Q team that recently wiped out CIA control in North Korea, which will now lead to the unification of the Koreas and peace on the peninsula! I know that all sounds incredulous but just look at what has really happened. Dig into the Q archives and follow that entire unfolding in real time – it’s all now on the historical record. Contrast the Q drops vs Trump’s tweets vs MSM articles and see who was telling the truth.
So back to Iran – it’s more complicated than most of us know. I was never a fan of “regime change” in Iran as I viewed any such attempt as another CIA coup to control that country. But as incredible as it sounds, the PRESENT regime (or at least certain key players within it) have ALWAYS been CIA assets! The Q group is trying to remove those assets and place power back to the people. Again, I know that sounds incredulous, even nonsensical. Surely this is just another psyop being played against patriots to follow a neocon agenda, etc, etc. But again, I would ask the doubters to study the North Korean situation IN DEPTH and see how that whole thing unfolded over the last 6 months and then look at the final result – PEACE! Clearly something hugely positive and very different is going on in the world. If people can’t see that, I guess I don’t blame them, as we’ve been fooled so many times before. But the proof, as they say, is in the pudding.
Now will the world be PERFECT after the Q plan comes to completion? Obviously not. The polarities of good and evil will always exist. And once the satanic cabal is eliminated, we will still be left with powerful countries competing with each other for resources and economic dominance. But without the cabal, I predict the NEW WORLD will be magnitudes more peaceful and ordered than the old world. The satanic cabal has played a HUGE role in amplifying the worst aspects of humanity. Without them, geopolitics will calm down enormously.
“Without them, geopolitics will calm down enormously.”
Do you expect Trump will now end his support for the Saudi obliteration in Yemen https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/20/yemen-war-us-saudi-senate-support ?
I would hope so. But I don’t know what the full agenda is with Yemen. Certainly disappointing that these conflicts persist.
“Certainly disappointing”
https://newmatilda.com/2017/03/19/the-war-in-yemen-is-turning-to-genocide-and-australia-is-quietly-supporting-it/
Quote
On Thursday, the Guardian issued a new report on the scale of the crisis in Yemen. It said:
“Aid agencies have warned that Yemen is “at the point of no return” after new figures released by the UN indicated 17 million people are facing severe food insecurity and will fall prey to famine without urgent humanitarian assistance.
A total of 6.8 million people are deemed to be in a state of emergency – one step from famine on the five-point integrated food security phase classification (IPC), the standard international measure – with a further 10.2 million in crisis. The numbers reflect a 21% increase in hunger levels in the Arab world’s poorest state since June 2016.”
Save the Children’s Yemen spokesperson Mark Kaye said, “for me these numbers highlight that we’re at the point of no return. If things are not done now we are going to be looking back on this and millions of children will have starved to death, and we’ll all have been aware of this for some time. That will shame us as an international community for years to come.”
This follows numerous other warnings of the catastrophe in Yemen. On 31 January, UNICEF put out an urgent appeal for funds to help children in crisis zones around the world. This included about 7.5 million children facing “severe acute malnutrition”. They estimated that this included about half a million children in Yemen.

Trump should be bound and dropped into the Houthi Capital to feel what disappointment really feels like.
It turns out that country was *not* an independent nation but had been under the control of the CIA this entire time!
Do you have any sources to back up this statement?
Yes. You would have to read the entire Q posting archives from beginning to the present day to understand the world situation, including Iran.
Start with the sidebar materials here:

And you can read the raw posts here:
https://qanon.pub/
There is no shortcut. You have to go through everything to understand.
Thank you for the links. I’ll have a quick look into this QAnon stuff, despite my skepticism. Iran, North Korea and Cuba being CIA run entities doesn’t make any sense at all. Along with Russia and China they’re some of the last remaining adversaries* of the US. Applying the assumption of CIA backed adversaries would imply that President Putin and President Xi Jinping are CIA assets as well. I’m pretty sure Ramin Mazaheri also regards Iran as an independent country.
* The US establishment perceives them as adversaries.
If the Q phenomenon represents a hypothetical group of nationalists would not one suppose that a central feature of their message would be to expose, resist and roll back foreign influence over the US government? The obvious actor in that role is, of course, Israel. Thus one would expect the Q message to be strongly anti-Israel. I’ve only looked at a few Q messages but from what I have seen this does not appear to be the case.
Also, of course, the meme that Trump is a nationalist even an “anti-Zionist” has no support in the public record from any of Trump’s actions or statements. He continues to exceed his own unprecedented subservience to Israel. No surprise to anyone that has followed Trump’s behavior over the years. Even before Trump’s fawning speech at AIPAC, it was clear from his speeches that he bought in early to the “Muslims are the root of all evil” meme (for example, claiming he saw thousands of Arabs celebrating, in New Jersey no less, on 9/11, etc). Since that time he has made clear that he has no interest in reinstating Glass–Steagall, “draining the swamp” (which he has revealed was only campaign rhetoric), prosecuting Hillary Clinton, investigating “pizza-gate” or the murder of Seth Rich.
Although this is somewhat facetious, a case could be made that Q is not a psyop but simply a prank or a joke. Especially to those fans of Star Trek: the Next Generation.
I think this article is wrong from the opening sentence. Clearly Israel and its agents provocateur within the USA are the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Yes, the Deep State?MIC are important in their own right, but most what Israel wants, it gets from the USA nearly every time. Any honest analysis of the current power dynamic in DC would conclude that, if push came to shove and Israel wanted something that the MIC opposed, Israel would get its way.
That said, the Deep State is indeed powerful, and they are colluding with the MSM to derail any nascent efforts by the Trump administration to bring some semblance of normalcy with our relations with Russia. Improved relations in their minds means eventually reduced budgets, and they are right about that.
The reality is that while there is a slight possibility of some kind of breakthrough as an outcome of the Trump/Putin meeting, it will more likely be business as usual going forward, with a slight hope that some thawing will occur from subsequent contacts.
I have no idea why the writer felt the need to bring up the scepter of nuclear war within the context of the article.
Candidate Trump dismissed 16 carefully selected primary rivals and Hilary Clinton (supported by 95% of the media) with a message of returning employment to the USA and terminating foreign military adventures. Confounding media experts, he waged an exhausting and extremely intelligent Electoral College campaign — with 2 – 3 – 4 full-stadium rallies per day — and won the Presidency without the support of:
1. Many Senators and Congressmen, who are in the pay of job-exporting globalists,
2. Many in the Federal Bureaucracy, especially the Justice Department and the FBI, who decided to take him down with an invented crime of collusion,
3. Many in the military-industrial-complex, who build expensive new junk and lucrative outdated bombs.
A brilliant turn-around-artist, President Trump chose his battles carefully and focused on reducing the burden of government on employment with cuts in taxes and regulations, while also reducing taxes on wage earners, largely through the Department of Commerce, under the brilliant entrepreneur Wilbur Ross.
The same Wilbur Ross also tackled the US balance of payment deficit of $500 million per year with a systematic review of the tariffs and non-tariff barriers created by so-called “trading friends.” Whereas the US has a tariff of 2.5% on imports, many countries have tariffs of 20% – 100% – 270% on US exports. President Trump warned these partners a day of reckoning was at hand, proposing a regime of 0% tariffs and 0 barriers — to no effect. Now Canadian and German auto manufacturers are in a panic about a (WTO legal) reciprocal tariff of 20% on their cars.
These actions are already generating a return of capital to the US and a US economic growth rate of nearly 3% in this quarter, possibly 4%+ in the next quarter and the creation of nearly 6 million jobs. Such an economic resurgence bodes very well for the mid-term elections of November 2018. Senator and Congressmen candidates embracing the Trump agenda are winning their summer primaries, while whoever wins in November will provide President Trump with much more firm Capital Hill support in 2019.
We come to an apparently confusing Trump foreign policy, which seems at variance with his election pledges. But are his last 18-months really more-of-the-same? There is no longer mention of “regime change” in Syria (or North Korea) and the President told the CIA a year ago to cut funding for so-called moderate Syrian jihadi. Furthermore, when President Trump was being attacked for being “soft” on chemical poisoning, he ordered showy missile attacks on empty buildings. More recently still, the US has written to its jihadi not to expect air-cover any longer and to cut a deal with Syria. These actions may be construed as an oblique White House effort to change foreign policy direction without complete control of the Pentagon, CIA, State Department, Senate Foreign Relations and media.
Given all this, since Presidents Putin and Trump both have an agenda of protecting their nations’ populations from globalist depredations, we may expect that they will find many points in common — just don’t expect them to wave any red-flags in the direction of already enraged globalists.
Aint nothin finished. It’s us or them. It’s that simple. Our ancestors would have understood thia notion well and they would have known exactly what to do. We need to throw aside any of our liberal pinnings and return to God, family and tribe and deal with our enemies they way our ancestors would have dealt with them.

You ARE the problem. You don’t have a problem. Proof? You keep voting for the same governments even though you know they are evil = YOU are evil.
I am surprised this discussion is occurring without mention of two recent pieces by Thierry Meyssan and John Helmer respectively.
Jared Kushner and the Palestinians’ « right to happiness »
http://www.voltairenet.org/article201676.html
In a nutshell, the Trump Administration will attempt to bring the Right to Happiness to the people of Palestine, as a solution to problems created by the founding of the Zionist Colonial Entity in 1948.
As for other rights, for example those of Return or Redress, neither Trump nor the Russians seem especially concerned, possibly because on either side of the negotiating table only Zionists will be represented.
The as yet unsettled agreement between the US and Russia has been a work in progress since before the Russian intervention in Syria began in 2015. Noting the recent participation by Benjamin Netanyahu in Victory Day celebrations in Russia alongside Putin, the Israeli PM has also apparently been made a party to the evolving arrangement — and will get a kind of veto power in negotiations over the fate of Syria as a result, hence Israel’s relative quietude concerning recent Syrian military gains in the south.
The developing agreement also likely includes provisions for a new (fake) Cold War between the US and Russia, helpfully taking care of the needs of the Military Industrial Complexes of both nations and especially that of Israel which is tied into both and is itself the preeminent seller-stealer of advanced technologies in the world today, as it has been for decades.
The Fifth Column in Russia is of any practical importance. The Siloviks and Securty apparatus are fully on board with the Atlanticist plan to negotiate an agreement with the Trump Administration and arguably to sell out all principles in matters concerning 70 years of Israeli murder and theft, not to mention the inviolability of Syria territory. Taking a look at everything that has occurred since the election in Russia confirms the Deep State and political elite of that country are universally backing a plan to capitulate.
Referring specifically to the John Helmer piece linked above, Valentin Yumashev (an Atlanticist and Yeltsinite) has recently been outed by Putin himself signalling he will be the main Russian negotiator for a new Grand Bargain between these two countries. Yumashev will attempt to accomplish something similar to what occurred in Yalta in 1945, the key difference being the Rothschild-UK Zionists (then represented by Churchill) are much more powerful today and will be much more difficult to ignore, as Roosevelt and Stalin more or less did at the end of WW2.
John Helmer provocatively describes Valentin Yumashev as Putin’s “rope puller” for over 18 years. This is slightly different from puppet master since it takes more effort to pull on a rope instead of a string.
And concerning who between Atlanticists and Eurasianists is in charge of Russian foreign and other policies, we can see definitively who is in the driver’s seat thanks to another piece by John Helmer.
Nostalgia for the Soviet Mud Cure Won’t Stop the Cull of Russian Pensioners
http://johnhelmer.org/?p=17799
Coming off a landslide election victory during which Putin made a 2 hour speech promising all sorts of benefits to common Russians, but only remembered for the 30 mins or so dedicated to the revelation of new weapons systems, the Russian President has apparently abandoned his supporters and is (according to Peskov) “powerless” to stop what is effectively a ‘cull’ of elderly Russians. Soviet Santoriums (recreational and health spas for common people) will be closed and this will not be a popular decision with Putin’s base of supporters.
And so I repeat, according to the Kremlin, Putin is supposedly powerless to stop a plan to attack his supporters just weeks after scoring a massive victory in an election where he campained on exacly the opposite of what is now being done.
Needless to say, it is still the Ashkenazi Elite who control Russia, as they have for well over 100 years. During the 90’s they decided to starve or prematurely kill millions of their fellow citizens and they are again begining a move in this direction after 18 years under Putin. It should be clear to everyone by now that they want above all else is to be loved and respected in the West — and for their bank accounts and real estate properties to be safe.
The Israeli (Zionist) veto for peace in the Middle East will ultimately be Russia’s undoing, and will conclusively demonstrate to observers around the world that chosing Russia as your primary ally is always a mistake. If Gaddafi were alive today he could tell you all about it and very soon Bashar Assad will find himself in a similar position. Mark my words.
Russia is weak and it’s elite acts accordingly, hence the Unipolar World Order of the Zionist Class they are helping to create.
@Where-is-the-Wolf. I agree cutting back Social Benefit for Pensioners is a bad sign; especially since the UN Report on Suicides, mapped by country, shows Russia as a large stain on the world; this UN report links suicde rate to lack of social services.
Is this the best that the deep state, evil empire, NWO, Anglo-Zionist, or whatever, have to offer?
If so, then they have well and truly lost.
However, I don’t find it believable that those who have spent billions, killed millions and committed countless crimes will give up so easily.
There must be something in the works and it likely isn’t very pleasant.
Remember, they are aiming for global domination, full spectrum domination.
It stands to reason that any group that has such high ambitions, and has a track record of using all means fair and foul to obtain their objectives, will fight viciously for their goals.
Don’t forget, Clinton was supposed to win and she was ready and willing to have a nuclear confrontation with Russia. And her side still considers Trump to be the usurper.
It doesn’t add up. But what?
like a bad tv show where the “fixer”…just shows up and somehow knows exactly how to solve every problem that comes his way…no matter the degree of knowledge or ability required…or even the corrupt lawyer who somehow working out of a cheap storefront gets his client the drug dealer/murderer out of any crime because he knows every trick in the book…so no need to make any plot less outrageous since the fixer or the lawyer can make it all go away.
in the same vein comes Roberts and all before him telling us how it is really the “DEEP STATE”..ut o…the deeppppppppppppppp state!!..at it again ….all powerful….all knowing… a combination of the fixer and the lawyer only a 100 times..NO!..a 1000!! times more powerful.
never mind they NEVER bother to tell us just who these people are…just KNOW that they are there..and not just skirting around…THEY RUN EVERYTHING!..
EXCEPT…except….we are never told how these all powerful people failed to prevent the ones they can now bring down…FROM EVER GAINING POWER TO BEGIN WITH!
WHY allow tRump to become the president…and the most powerful man in the world…if you have the power to bring him down…BEFORE he gets all that power?
why..ALLOW PUTIN to go on and on and on…like the energizer bunny…if you have the power to prevent him from even being the president and from helping the people …if you have the power to halt him?
seems these all powerful deep staters ONLY gain their unchecked power AFTER…they fail to prevent the elections..of the people they wish to bring down…
lol…comical isnt it?
Well, I take your point, to a point.
As many have discussed (such as Peter Dale Scott), the Deep State is not monolithic but has factions.
You might regard the Deep State in the USA sort of like a large multi-generational imperial dynasty such as the Hapsburgs, with many collateral branches and local princelings as well as top-drawer capos (whose power may be limited in various ways by maneuverings of other top capos plus local interests), all of them always obliged to maintain a power base in the domestic Great Game for power and control.

Wolfgang Tracy Lebowski & Fetzer Investigate Sandy Hook

… It’s not just our opinion, man, it’s the honest-to-god-truth: Halbig et al. are right, they are heroes, because Sandy Hook, as well as (name a dozen more here), are all hoaxes, false flags, conspiracies, people might have died in some cases, but they are still government —United States government — lies, gigantic lies …
The WaPo and the Zionazi prime asset, the NYT, are psychopathically filthy, mendacious and hypocritical, but so, too is the entire Western fakestream media. I have yet to see a single fakestream presstitute that dares to deviate from the official lies, even when a dullard could see their stupidity, one iota. That tells you what brainwashed, complicit, Gadarene swine they truly are.
As Chomsky noted, false US claims of ‘meddling’ in their election sham are laughable. Not only are the accusations entirely fabricated from thin air, innuendo and outright lying, but the USA itself is the greatest meddler in the internal affairs of other countries that has ever existed, by orders of magnitude. The USA has maliciously interfered, intervened, subverted, sanctioned and, in the end, invaded, destroyed and massacred the people, in scores of countries since WW2, all with that Messianic arrogance that is driving us all to Hell.
As for PCR’s defence of Reagan, well I must dissent. Reagan had the gift of the imbecile puppet Gorbachev, clearly controlled by Fifth Column Quislings, to surrender to the USA under the ludicrous pretense that it would take away the USA’s enemy. That insanity has been disproved every day since. Russia, after being looted and dismembered by the Evil drunkard Quisling Yeltsin, is more than ever in Thanatopia’s gunsights. The risk of thermo-nuclear war is greater than ever. And the USA, freed of the risk of Soviet intervention to limits its ambitions, has embarked on an orgy of aggression and genocide, devastating Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Syria, Gaza, etc, subverting all the states of Latin America that attempted to break free from its deadly control, and imposing the neo-liberal capitalist world order that has produced unprecedented poverty, elite wealth, inequality and debt. And, in the process, hastened the ecological Holocaust that will shortly take us all out, if thermo-nuclear war does not intervene first.
” As for PCR’s defense of Regan..”
what a continuity..simple straight and accurate! True but pheeeeeew! what a tsunami of evil engulfing the world precipitated by Gorbachev/Yeltsin. and Gorbachev was never charged, tried and dealt with. he has lived out his life free in Russia, no doubt in good material circumstances. was this always the way of the Russian people? I remember Stalin and the Bolshevik Russian crowd
I mean I talk run all over my face whenever the Saker decides to print my comments. I attacked Putin in fear that he too might be deep state etc. but all that is in desperation and depression for my children and a recent grand daughter added to my brood. I font think humanity can overcome Jewish evil for they are behind it all, the lead collective ogre of the human species. the flow has been too great, too massive, TOO EVIL for the psyche to overcome.
I see what the Jews are doing in Palestine and I have had to stop reading that list of items. I am no saint but man I am stunned. here is Phillip Giraldi:

and Blevins around the time of the fall of the Soviets

look at the mindset of the perpetrators. I look around me and try to observe the people, ordinary people their attitudes and I think I see a growth of hostility in the people, the fear of women of everyone, routine ordinary exploitation in regular affairs, total lack of trust and carelessness. no one cares anymore..maybe children who dont know better yet do, but not anyone above the age of ten
how can humanity survive the capitalists/capitalism?
we cant…I dont see how save possibly in world-wide, spontaneous, unorganized and planned by any vanguard political party or group, a process that cleanses humanity as the people end capitalism, creating a democracy in the process that seeks to meet the needs of all… the ordinary people taking the stage into the hands and fearlessly, creatively going about the survival of our collective instrument of survival society itself.
it is time, the last opportunity for all humanity everywhere, especially in the ‘developed’ countries to down tools, stop everything, come out into the streets and end capitalism once and for all.. and at the same time put in place their own creation, in response to all the need around them, the need that drove them into the streets in the first place.. by taking the stage and applying it to the needs of society, in whatever ways the peoples find it best to address all need, in all the countries.
it is time or humanity dies, we lose our opportunity in nature by our own hands…as we can solve it the same way totally, and with our what seems our last opportunity, by our own hands. the current state of humanity seems horrifically depressed, socially and emotionally degraded. only such collective revolutionary behavior can reclaim humanity now, cleanse us and allowing us to feel decent again.
Trump kowtows to Israel – and Saudis – at least he pretends to with the Saudis – and he really does to Israel.
But PCR may be right about the MIC being more powerful the AIPAC. Or are they the same ? Maybe not – as Israel still buys lots from US MIC – don’t they ?
And you Americans keep voting only Democrat and Republican knowing full well BOTH parties only work for and represent the MIC and AIPAC?
You Americans ARE the problem, you don’t have a problem. The Deep State is only one of the symptoms of YOUR perfidy. YOU Americans are the CAUSE of the problems of mass torture, mass rape and mass murder.
Don’t understand, why people think Putin is in opposition to the 5th column block. At least when it comes to the economy, he parrots all their liberal lies – take the pension “reform” as a case in point.
As I see it, Putin is a liberal on matters like the economy and a conservative on matters like foreign policy. And all the nonsense and the very much sense full is the outcome of that.
@ Art Best
Amerika uber alles, uber alles in der Welt. It’s about the damnable will to power, of this half-crazed messianic and megalomaniacal nation, this “shining city on the hill,” this mad exceptionalism, this crazy idea of “democracy” that has infected the world and which virtually the whole world –China and Russia included–prostrates to in mindless adoration. But some ancient sages knew that this quasi-summit of demagoguery inevitably–inevitably–is followed by tyranny. And so is that the West, infiltrated now by the “uber uber menschen”, the “chosen people” of “God”, is opening the way to Antichrist.
That the rest of the human race, including Russia and China, go along with this, condemns us all.
Russians and the Chinese just wanna do business with the Americans, NOT stop their orgy of evil.
Humanity is the problem, USA is the greatest symptom of the disease…
“For Putin, the rule of law is as important as Russia.”
Definitely.
Made by and for the Russian Oligarchs. here’s an example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxation_in_Russia
“Capital gains from asset sales are taxable only if the seller owned the asset for less than 3 years.”
To this day, the Russian central bank is owned and controlled by the City of London bankers (aka the Rothschilds). The following is WRITTEN into the Russian Constitution: 1)Russians can only issue their own currency the ruble ONLY AND ONLY IF they add US dollars to their foreign currency reserves, and 2)Russians can only buy US Treasuries with the dollars they receive from their oil sales. The Russians are FORBIDDEN to buy gold with the proceeds of their oil sales. Furthermore, Russians are FORBIDDED to use gold as money or back the ruble with gold because they are an IMF member country (same goes for China, the USA, India, EU member countries etc.).

Can we dispense with this vacuous brain-dead term “Deep State” can call the CRIMINALS by their actual names.
As in SERCO, SES and their minions…DoD (JCS), DOJ, DHS, DIA, DISC, FBI, CIA, and of course “The City’s” Federal Reserve (Fed + State).
The use of the term “Deep State” helps/assists in the continued obfuscation of the actual criminals.
Besides that critique I enjoyed Mr. Roberts article.
