Biggest war drills going on in 40 years supposedly here now:
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the remarks in Moscow, a day after the US-led western military alliance launched their biggest-ever joint exercise in Poland.
“… do not contribute to the atmosphere of trust …”
Gobleddy, gobbledy, gobbledygook. So, don’t trust them. Tell your boss Putin not to idiotically call them “partners”, make questionable “deals” with them, and hope to “get” something from them…
The European Soccer Championship begins in 2 days (June 10th).
Paris is under water from the Seine floods and paralyzed by a month long general strike.
Just 2 days ago Kiev arrested some French Nazi with endless amounts of weapons and explosives who wanted to blow up Paris.
From August 5th to August 21st the Summer Olympics in Brazil will take place.
We know from Georgia and Maidan that the US start “shit” whenever there are really huge sporting events and the world is busy. Brazil is unstable and so is even Farnce atm.
Maybe reason to worry.
Especially given that 33.000 NATO soldiers jointly with Ukrainians are surrounding Kaliningrad for (officially) 10 days.
crap on the wall?
Ahhh, nooooo.

Hysterical. Thankyou for this. Especially in light of the armchair warriors giving Putin and the Kremlin “advice” [cough, choke] on what to do and how to do it, it’s great to get the view of Russians “on the ground” and realise just how little value anyone there is putting on these Yankee shenanigans.
I would imagine on reading the sort of material that has a huge following among readers on this blog complaining that Putin is “too lax and doesn’t know what he is doing against the clever Yankee West” that Putin himself shrugs, sometimes laughs briefly – and turns to something that actually matters.
Sharp and witty and spot on.
The baltics and poland crying wolf to get freebies
The U.S. offloading their expensive junk
Great morning laugh.
Acerbic as any lampoon i’ve seen.
“More please!”
and thank you Eugenia!
Lady, you’re insatiable :)

“In any case, the military drills, which are based on legends about a quite unambiguous indication in an understandable way, definitely, do not contribute to the atmosphere of trust and security,” Peskov said during a news briefing on Tuesday.

Dear Eugenia,
Thank you for your work. You are a special component of the Vineyard. And your translations and subtitling are superb.
