Putin signs ‘immediate’ recognition of Donbass regions:
President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian military to “secure the peace” in the newly recognized Donetsk and Lugansk republics, which were formerly considered to be part of Ukraine.
In Donbass:
Matter of fact.
A new world awakens.
Congratulations, Putin has gotten exactly what he wanted without using his military. He has spun a web and trapped the flies. Truly he is the sharpest tack in the box.
I can’t stop laughing about this. It is so Sun Tzu.
Almost as clean as Crimea. Boy it’s going to be difficult to get accurate world maps for a while after this. It may be forty years before these are recognized on maps.
Yes, I hope you are correct.
But I am reminded of the apocryphal reply of PM Chou Enlai to Nixon (Kissinger?) when asked what the former thought of the French Revolution: It’s too early to tell.
Beware of hubris.
He wasted 8 years on useless diplomacy. That’s not smart.
Have you fished before? When you want fish what do you do? You give the fish a long line into the water and suddenly. Baam, you got it.
The Kremlin spent 8 years on getting Russia ready for this. Not wasted.
Congratulations to the people of the Donbass, who have endured and worked hard for this victory! It’s a big victory, but we are probably only at the beginning of the victory. Their victory – and ours, too.
Russia in 2022 is a much stronger power than in 2014. Economically, militarily, politically. It has also built a strong relationship with the third superpower – China.
Russia is not today a country that can be “pushed around”.
Today, in 2022 – do you really think that Putin would ever allow countries like Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania to become NATO members?
And there’s nothing NATO could to to prevent Putin’s check on this.
And The West is much weaker than in 2014. It’s a mess. Lockdowns have destroyed small businesses, more people are aware of the Globalist oligarchy & their Great Reset plans. Canada is any eye opener to the fact our democracies are sham. Millions more are aware of the propaganda & understand Russia & Putin as friends not foes.
Estonia Latvia and Lithuania joined NATO in 2004.
IMO, not wasted, but compelled to invested in such areas as fallout shelter modernization and public exercises to report to shelters. He was also utilizing this time to upgrade weapons and allow a very robust overhaul of the Russian Armed Forces Reserves, which I read were called up in recent days.
Health and happiness to the new republics. Hopefully some semblance of peace for those poor souls.
He looks like the proverbial cat that swallowed the mouse.
Not that my opinion means anything but I think the fat lady is clearing her throat for a thunderous Syrian song.
That would be a good move, time to hit the Reich in Syria.
Shoigu should interpret that order.
Secure the Peace meaning, destroy Ukraine, NATO and the Hegemon. A few precise missile strikes should change the paradigm of West’s unipolar hegemony.
Do it the way the Iranians did. Tell them it’s coming, when and where. And give them severe head trauma.
> Tell them it’s coming, when and where.
My first pick, Poland
No, don’t touch Poland, just give them Galicia, worst punishment!
Indeed. People have to realize that although there are a lot of historical problems between Russia and Poland, there are also a lot of common interests. Poland is a victim of Soviet land theft, just like Russia! There needs to be strategic thinking in this area. Russia, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Romania have the same interest for the long term.
Yes, Iran did a good job. Russia could indeed do the same in Ukraine. Let’s see what happens in the next weeks.
Awesome – really happy for the people of Donbas.
The future looks bright.
Orcs better scatter before the tornadoes get in range.
The US and the West tried to use the concept of R2P — adopted by UNGA — as cover for their illegal aggression in Syria but in the past but the efforts were consistently shot down by RF and PRC.
Now Russia is turning the tables on them and applying exactly the same principles to the Donbass. Difference? Russia does it for legitimate reasons.
Oh what delcious irony.
To the West, R2P means “Responsibility to privatize.”
“Responsibility to plunder.” would be more appropriate.
Don’t forget Libya and Kosovo too.

That picture is priceless!
The American government are talking sanctions. Are they going to sanction the 700,000 bbls of oil per day they’re buying from Russia?
Talk of sanctioning NS2, Putin responds – NS2 comes online by month end or Russia sanctions NS1.
Who’s your Daddy, Mofos?
come on, U.S. is the laughing stock of the world already. No one even cares what the old diaper-wearer babbles in between his naps. The whole world is laughing at the flaming, dying empire
Diaper-wearer still might have a sting in his tail. nukes, anyone? our USA is still dangerous. But God bless Russia!
“Nukes” are fake. BOJ building, Hiroshima Branch. The size of the charge and distance to target are published. Sadovsky’s formula gives over 10 psi. overpressure. That building shouldn’t exist… but there it is, a museum to a “bomb” that never existed. And physical proof of the nonexistence of “nuclear weapons “. Everything else is just something penned for us by Rockefeller scribes.
I’m sure that a lot thought and analysis went into the timing of this recognition. One obvious observation: It occurred the day after the Olympics
The term “check mate” tends to get overused, but this is truly “check mate”, militarily and politically.
The USA/ West and their media are already screaming very loudly. I’m sure the USA is already orchestrating an UN vote to condemn this recognition by Russia just like they did when Crimea joined Russia.
Finally, I want commend Saker for all of the hard work that he has done during the last several weeks. His analysis sets the tone for a lot of intelligent commentary.
One obvious observation: It occurred the day after the Olympics
My friend, the observation is correct but politico-military operations don’t work that way. They depend on lots of other factors. Sporting events are not one of them.
At any rate Beijing will also be hosting another important international sports gathering: the 2022 Paralympic Winter Games from 4-13 March. Just like the Winter Olympics, PRC would like to see that event proceed smoothly too, without being marred by a war — if it comes to that — in Europe. But Russia must do what it must and PRC understands the situation perfectly.
Nope, the day after the Munich Security Conference.
the Munich Security Conference.
Exactly this.
All that hit air, self congratulation and hubris. And a day later…. Bam.
I haven’t seen any reference to this statement you allege Putin made. Could you provide a link? Or is this just wishful thinking? ;-)
Yes, tongue in cheek comment. That said, now is the time to play the cards you’re holding and Russia’s holding all the jokers. He should call Scholz and tell him, he shouldn’t be concerned so much about what the Americans want regarding NS2, no, your concern should be what’ll happen to NS1 should NS2 not come on line,
Russia plays chess…the West plays poker
No, no, no – that’s not the idea at all. The USA must always profit, so nothing that impedes that can be considered.
Instead, the cry is always, “Let’s you and him fight”. They hope to damage their designated “adversaries”, and can be fairly certain of seriously harming their supposed “allies”. All of which is exactly what they want.
It’s dangerous to be an “enemy” of the USA, but fatal to be its “friend”.
May peace finally come to these brave long suffering Republics.
May all the lives lost be remembered.
Amen.
I am so glad that these poor suffering people will finally find some protection.
Echo’d! Would that those who gave their lives in the revolution were alive to see it.
Love this “Putin Proverb” posted on twitter:
“Those who do not want to negotiate with Lavrov will negotiate with Shoigu.”
– Putin
President Putin has very artfully threaded the needle, by ensuring safety and security for the Donbass without a major confrontation with anglo/zionist controlled Kiev.
How will the US whip their European vassals to agree to ‘sanctions from hell’? There are no columns of Russian tanks rolling towards Kiev. There is no massive artillery bombardment of 404 forces on the LOC. In fact, the lit fuse to start a confrontation between 404 and Russia has been delicately snipped off by President Putin.
I suspect there will ultimately be some symbolic sanctions approved by the Europeans, and the anglo/zionist grip on Europe will further weaken. Nato becomes more and more irrelevant.
This western Canadian is rejoicing at this sudden and monumental turn of events. Bravo!
We Western Canadians don’t have much to celebrate tonight, so will take what we can get–in this case, the opportunity to visualize Chrystia Freeland’s voice, in the moment of her triumphal transition to 21st-century networked fascism.
Russia is playing chess, the US is playing with itself.
God bless Vladimir Vladimirovich. Truly a man of the people! A giant amongst humanity.
Rather glorious reading western msm response. The guardian had a piece about putin smirking and his ministers stammering agreement under rapid fire questioning of loyalty for his evil plans.. just didnt add the stroking of cat and monocole
The decrepit, senile mummy and joke of the world has finally issued an official statement:
President Biden
@POTUS
United States government official
I have signed an Executive Order to deny Russia the chance to profit from its blatant violations of international law. We are continuing to closely consult with Allies and partners, including Ukraine, on next steps.
https://twitter.com/POTUS/status/1495911308625125380
We’re supposed to make comments of substance and fact on the Saker blog. But for this one, I cannot think of anything but Blabber, Blabber, Blabber.
Cool story Biden. Can you please point specifically to which international laws were broken? I presume this would be a different international law than the one where bombing innocent children is a war crime….
funny enough Zelensky just gave his speech on Ukrainian territory and said with this move, Russia has officially thrown away the Minsk agreements. But the fact is, Russia is not a party of the Minsk agreements, it was a “Guarantor” of the Minsk agreements. But the 2 actual signing parties was Ukraine and Donbas republics. So it was up to Ukraine to hold up their end of the deal as an actual official PARTY to the agreement, and they failed to do that. And for the record, along with Russia, the OSCE was also a signing “Guarantor” to the agreement and yet we see the OSCE never lifted a single finger to properly assign the blame of the many shellings and civilian slaughter that Ukraine continued to perpetrate as recently as this morning (there was gruesome videos released this morning on twitter of a Donetsk resident going to his mining job who was hit by artillery, his entire torso was cut in half and decapitated, and that’s just from this morning, another innocent civilian killed). So Zelensky should blame the OSCE who failed to do their job as “guarantor” of these agreements.
Hint: Minks Agreements are not invalidated by the independence. Think about the territories that lies between the LOC and the administrative region borders. I saw no word about borders yet …
US hypocrisy knows no bounds…
RESOLUTION 497 (UN Security Council)
Passed on 17 December 1981 by the UN Security Council, this resolution declares “null and void and without international legal effect” the decision of Israel to “impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights,” and demands that Israel rescind its decision. The resolution was adopted unanimously.
The US government now recognizes Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights in breach of International law.
Apparently Israel had already, months before Crimea voted to join RF, hired several British developers and architects to draw up some plans for Black Sea developments/resorts.
Correct. But no need to go that far in the past.
Look at so-called Kosovo. US and UK that screem loudly today about “breaking int’l law by Russia” simply ignorred int’l law and recognizing “independence of Kosovo”.
I express my complete admiration of the tenacity and determination to the Donetsk and Luhansk peoples who supported very difficult years and stood their ground, while they could have avoided conflict escaping, but they stuck together, resisted and succeeded.
An example to the World.
Before the clueless Americans and poodle bitch Euro vassals begin throwing their old toys out of the pram, it is important that Putin reiterates his warnings. Regardless of your future sanctions, more pain is coming your way. we’re not finished. You started this with the aim of screwing Russia, however, be afraid, Russia is ready to screw you.
Well, it looks like VP is just following Noodleland’s “F_ck the EU!” advice…. slow to mount but fast to ride.
Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky, head of the Liberal Democrat party Russia, made a statement about what is going to happen February 22, 2022.
I read that what he is saying is the following:
At 4am on 22 Feb you’ll feel [our new policy]. I’d like 2022 to be peaceful. But I love the truth, for 70 years I’ve said the truth. It won’t be peaceful. It will be a year when Russia once again becomes great.”
here is a videolink
https://htrs-special.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/Zhirinovsky-Quote-+On-Feb-22-2022-YouWillFeelOurNewPolicy-WillNotBePeaceful.mp4
This is from December 27, 2021
So if this is true, then indeed this has been in the making for some time, and I am curious as to what will happen in the next hour or so that we don’t yet know about?
Zhirinovsky is basically believed to be the outlet for the Kremlin’s ideas that would maybe be a bit too prickly to swallow for the proverbial “international community” if voiced by an official source. He is an immensely clever and connected man operating under a disguise of an all-stops-pulled populist for many decades. Sadly, he has recently gone down with a serious Covid case which at his advanced age poses a serious hazard. I pray for his swift recovery; out political scene would suffer a dire loss, should he for one reason or the other leave it.
with this prediction, one can only pronounce Zhirinovsky as the new mystical Rasputin to Putin ;-)
With that said, his prediction of the 2/22 date perhaps is not too far fetched as that is actually the starting date of Euromaidan which began this entire mess. Check wikipedia if you don’t believe me, Yanukovich was overthrown by the CIA on exactly 2/22/14. So it seems perhaps Putin chose the symbolic date in advance as a payback gesture to Uncle Skam
22 February 2014, 328 of 447 members of the Ukrainian parliament (MPs)—or about 73% of the MPs—voted to “remove Viktor Yanukovych from the post of president of Ukraine” on the grounds that he was unable to fulfill his duties… according to Wikipedia.
So the date is more than symbolic (the 22.02.22 is anyway a nice memory marker). I’m guessing Zhirinovsky had this in mind, and the completion of NS2 was always going to light the final fuse, but I don’t get the 4am reference. Zhirinovsky does seem to be quite the showman.
There is an old song from the Great Patriotic War time that went “On June 22, at 4 a.m. square, Kiev was bombed, and we were told a war had broken out”. Zhirinovsky might have decided to bolster his homily with an allusion to that.
Looking back a day or so, we can now know what Macron’s game was.
Putin unmasked him in the Security Council meeting.
https://www.rt.com/russia/550182-macron-donbass-recognition-reaction/
Sending Macron to visit Putin was the typical American tactic of “good cop/bad cop,” Macron of course being so-called “good cop.” Evidently Putin saw through that, and choose to be like a cat that toys with a mouse before killing it. Putin kept his word: this ultimatum has a time limit, so do not waste time. NATO assumed Putin was like a typical Western politician, thus time can, and was wasted. NATO clearly miscalculated…
Typical western hypocrisy, international law isn’t applicable when france partitions Mali, offers autonomy to the Northern part to its terrorist proxies, that in return allow her to extract all kind of minerals from an area bigger than its own territory. International borders are intangible only when it suits western plunderers.
Obviously, this had been in the works for months. However, one can’t be in awe over how this perfectly coincided (or was planned to perfectly coincide) with two things: laughing off the concept of genocide against Russians by one German fuehrer wannabe and flexing the (however far-fetched) potential nuclear muscle by one Ukrainian Napoleon wannabe. Russia simply could not leave either thing unanswered. Now some guys are going to sleep in this sweat-drenched, icky bed they made all by themselves. Maybe even for the rest of their lives. Night in, night out.
Wouldn’t that be interesting if someone in Beijing decided this was the perfect moment to re-unite Taiwan with the motherland?
YES!!! It may still happen, soon. Just the Chinese do not seem to have the Russian style of acting fast when the opportunity comes.
To my mind there’s a serious difference with Taiwan & South-Eastern Ukraine – the first mostly don’t want to rejoin China & the CCP system, the latter don’t want to be under Ukraine & Nazis.
@Peter
Where did you get the idea that the Taiwanese mostly don’t want to rejoin China & the CCP system? Have you been there? Have you met Taiwanese people? Have you discussed this issue with THEM?
My understanding, having met Taiwanese people in China, is that the people of Taiwan know their history and thus understand that they were not consulted about when, at the end of the Chinese Revolution, predicting the victory of the communist forces under Mao Tse-tung, “Chiang Kai-shek and approximately two million Nationalist Chinese – predominantly from the former government bureaucrats and businessmen – retreated from mainland China to the island of Taiwan (then known as Formosa).”
The locals, the Taiwanese people, were silenced by the Nationalist Chinese after their arrival. But, this does not mean that they support/ed them. It is just a question of the balance of forces, as it happens in the Third World, with the local elite advantage of having the full support of the west.
Regrettably must admit I doubted Russia at times. Questioned why arent they arent fighting back. Worried they would buckle and yeild under pressure from filthy America government and filthy others.
Please forgive my doubting.
Today though myself and all the world saw just how superior a leader, a true professional leader, a true God fearing leader, yes we saw that in President Vladimir Putin. Leader of beautiful Russia. Surly the Grace of God is upon Russia.
I could not help but smile. So happy for Putin and Russia. And this is imporatant too, happy for all the countries and peoples tbat will see and gain strengtb in standing up against the American government. Anyone can see America government is foul, wicked, arrogant, and devoid of good. Actual criminals. Russia did not yeild. So much to be grateful for, the enemy has been opposed flat out, theres hope for brighter future for all.
Write your government officials. Write to the lying rat bastards who spew filth and lies. Let them hear we know you are liars and murders. Remember John the Baptist spoke truth, Christ spoke Truth, the apostles all spoke truth, Paul the Apostle spoke truth. They all spoke truth to authorities of their times. Fight along with Russia. Oppose the enemy. Do all you can do and do some more. Talk and convince people to think, think, think, use your mind. Filthy bastards rule over us, tbut bey are not gods. If truth were irrelevant there would be no censorship. Just think about that.
And if you’re the praying type, no matter your faith, keep crying out in prayer to God in heaven, give us the victory.
unfortunately the true Test is only just beginning. Now with Russian peacekeepers in Donbas, the Zionazi Regime will try anything they can to goad Putin into a misstep, i.e. into starting full blown war. You see, as far as Zionazi’s are concerned, this was a great move today because it brings them one step further to trying to trick Russia into launching full scale war on Ukraine and Kiev. So now they will start with major provocations in the form of TERRORIST STRIKES on Russian troops all along the contact line. The Ukronazi’s will have all manner of saboteurs, artillery strikes, mines, death drones, basically all the same tricks they used to kill Motorola, Givi, Zakarchenko, and co (may their souls rest in peace). They will try to kill, maim, etc as many Russian troops as possible to force Putin to fulfill their self-fulfilling prophecy of a Russian invasion on Kiev so that they can REALLY turn the world against Russia. So unfortunately I foresee a dark period of TERROR tactics against Russian troops via elite US Special Operations Forces operating within Ukronazi lines–in short, the same tactics as in Syria where they constantly try to road bomb Russian troops or send swarms of suicide drones, TOW missiles, suicide bombers, etc etc.
Syria is far from Russia and Russia entered late when thousands of terrorists supported by more than 80 countries destroyed most of Syria and government nearly fell. Ukraine is the neighbor with Russia knowing a lot more what the perpetrators are planning. Russia is much better prepared to thwart the actions of the ukroNazis and their backers.
you’re right but similarly I can counter with: the Ukrainian army is not Jabbat al-Nusrah either. We may laugh about it but Ukraine has one of the largest armed forces in Europe, its amount of equipment and capabilities are not a joke when it comes to being utilized for terror tactics. And the fact that American SOF’s can blend in with Ukie troops much more convincingly and easily given the far trickier terrain where you can hide in forests and such as compared to the open desert of Syria where Russia can easily see everything via aerial surveillance for tens of miles all around, with drones/helicopters etc.
Russians have got ample experience in kicking what was thought to be the world’s most technically advanced military force out of those parts and all the way to their capital. WWII stuff, y’know – and that happened only just about yesterday, if you look at it on the context of humanity’s recorded history, mind you. From a more global point of view, the land of Donbass is in fact still mostly bare sunburnt steppes, with only very scarce patches of forest green – just as it was centuries ago. The Wild Field, as our ancestors called it in the time when they battled Crimean Tatars hard over this land. Then, they went and conquered it, making it part of Russia proper – and that is back now with a vengeance.
Russia got caught in compromises in Syria and limited itself greatly with the agreements. Syria as well limited its forces from the beginning and that allowed it to by most entirely overrun. When Russia entered it quickly moved ISIS out of many territories, but they had to stop because U.S. and Turkish forces were involved. Russia compromises a lot with Turkey because of the pipeline deals. That is one reason if forgave Turkey for shooting down its pilots. Of course Turkey had to semi-apologize, and only after its economy was hurting from the boycott by Russian tourists.
Then you also have Israel regularly sending missiles and bombing Syria but both Syria and Russia don’t react it as they don’t want a bigger war. So Russia is compromised by U.S., Turkey, and Israel in Syria.
Ukraine is a threat to Russia itself versus the Syrian war/terrorists and surrounding countries only being a threat to Russians within Syria, so it wouldn’t be compromising with any foreign forces sending missiles into the Donbas.
How can they possibly trick Russia at this juncture? And you do realize they have already attempted terrorist strikes, right? There is no trick or trap. They can do whatever it is they’re going to do in their hysteria, but this was already calculated in the plans. I mean really, you think some random Nazi attack is going to change Russia’s entire game plan? Yeah, Putin gets sidetracked by noise easily.
And US Special Ops attacking Russia on soil that is neither American nor Russian is an entirely different beast than Americans killing Russians on Russian soil. That, my friend, makes America and Americans fair game. And ,as they have been previously warned, that includes leadership. So I’m thinking America doesn’t have much of an appetite for hypersonic missiles landing in DC.
So I expect the drama queens to sulk and have tantrums and stomp their feet and cry and call Russians mean names and otherwise act like petulant children sent to their room for being naughty. People are delusional if they think the nation that ran from Afghanistan and Iran is going fight Russia on Russian soil. Nope. They’ll find some poor third world country to beat up instead.
So the US got what it “wanted” – the “invasion”. Only maybe this is backfiring on them?
I wonder what the international response is to this, and I don’t mean the so-called “international community”, I mean, say, India, Indonesia, and the countries in South America and Africa. What will the media in these countries be saying now, can they possibly (continue to) support the US’s position on this?
Anyone have any links to news reports from these places that would indicate which way this is getting spun?
Personally, I am very happy for the people in the Donbass, finally they get some protection after so much bloodshed.
only thing I’ve heard so far is the Houthi Ansarullah movement in Yemen has released support for Russia’s recognition of Donbas, as well as Venezuela and Assad / Syria.
Irrelevant who is recognising these 2 republics. They are going to be a part of Russia anyway.
hey, Novorussians.
Hi, brave people of donbass.
Dont take your energies to waste OR allow your politicians caressing their egos by shaping the stupidity of TWO
different republics.
ONE SINGLE novorussian Donbass Republic.!!!!
And let the neighbors split out themselves as wished.
And nato fractures now?
CNN reveal USA pushing sanctions and can’t get them from European countries, yet? If no financial agreement, then military on table now? Or is that moment already passing? Thank you asked for enabling me to search for the truth and hope for the best
If Kiev and NATO are going to make a move (now that the troops and deposits are full) it has to come in the next few hours. Their window of opportunity is closing fast. The next few hours are going to be tense.
Yet, my hope is they realize they got the wrong end of the stick and do nothing. Good for mother Russia! and congratulations to the brave people of Novorossia. This is the dawn of a new day!
Reuters correspondent: Latvia will deliver javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine on Tuesday – Latvian foreign ministry
https://twitter.com/idreesali114/status/1495852945048539139
I bet it’s just the begining: next, Romania’s Aegis, iranian-style!
The Romanians will abandon it soon if the US doesn’t move it.
They know Mr. Kalibr will decimate the Aegis Ashore and them.
Move it or lose it.
Methinks, Russia needs to declare a “no fly zone” over Ukraine,,or Donbass, anyway.
And eastern Baltic & western-northern Black Sea… and no-sail zones…
Southfront is implying fighting in the LNDR has for all practical purposes ceased.
If possible, it would be interesting if someone could verify the current situation.
The question that needs to be answered is what did NATO accomplish in all of this? The subsequent question is what then does keep the “peace” in Europe? The corollary thereto is what then is the utility of NATO? If I were a European leader right now, I’d be asking those questions. Looks like a new security arrangement for Europe really does need to be architected.
Bravo! This news made my day. Dimitry Orlov was right when he predicted such an outcome.
To all the Putin second guessers, to all the keyboard generals and arm chair pundits, learn the lesson of today.
Russians plan deeply. They exude patience. They understand logistics and build what they will need.
They time their actions to complete advantage.
Putin has a genius IQ, scholarly knowledge, insightful psychology, and leads a nation of brilliant minds.
He has been building strength, military superiority of weapons and defenses, economic flexibility, domestic unity and international admiration.
Russia was ready to do this now, not any sooner.
Note well, the Russians have not had to shoot their way into Donbass or defend themselves any where as they enter. Whether this holds or the Ukies try to draw blood, the plan is designed to cost the fewest soldiers.
Part of the calculation of this European crisis (as the West terms it) is higher prices for oil and gas. The profit bonanza pays for the cost of the Russian plan. In other words, the US and EU are paying for what Putin is doing.
Genius!
Russians play Chess, USA plays Go
No, Russians do play chess, but the USA play with themselves…
Clichés rarely represent the reality the latter being far too complex. But as the Americans don’t like to deal with complex matters they use silly clichés.
I am certain the drama will pick up. I am glad the people of Donbass will have support. US/UK/EU leaders can go to hell.
However, I am curious how the international law aspect will play out. UN Secretary General joined the gaggle of idiots, condemning Russia. What’s to make of this when Russia and China want to be operating under the UN and international law? I know the entire situation was created by the US and friends, via coup… I want to learn what framework is being used going forward.
They need to construct their own framework which would operate independently of the US-UN framework and simultaneously as the equivalent of a grid-locking, monkey-wrenching dissident faction within it.
Surely by now Russia and China must have no illusions about the UN and the existing international law framework. By all means, pay lip service to it, but proceed according to reality.
And if the day ever came that the US poodles of Europe and elsewhere wanted to switch sides, like Hitler’s allies beginning in 1943, Russia and China could bring them into their own framework while simultaneously joining them in wresting control of the UN framework from the US.
The UN is rotten to the core. The single worst item currently, is that the #2 is (((Jeffrey Feltman))), former US Ambassador to Lebanon, and the man who curated the fraudulent “international tribunal”, headed by a German named Detlev Mehlis, who tried to pin the bombing of former Lebanese PM, Harriri Sr. on four Lebanese army generals who were in prison for years, before the lies from Detlev Mehlis were exposed and the gemnerals were freed. Feltman was running the UN before Gutierrez was picked. This is just one of many stories about the rot in the UN. The Iranians can tell you about being denied visas to NYC, which is a violation of the treaty that put the UN in NYC on land donated by the Rockefellers. Effecively, the UN was the curator of the 1994 Rwanda genocide. Kofi Annan, Egypt’s FM (under Anwar Sadat – need I say more ?), before he became Secretary General, sold guns to one side in what later became a series of genocides in Rwanda. Of course the UN never lifted a finger to stop it, although Canadian General Roger Dalaire wrote that stopping the one in 1994, with 800,000 dead IIRC), could have easily been prevented.
It’s a simple story of how the UN turned really bad. Member states were not paying their dues and by the early 1970’s it was seriously hurting for money. So Uncle Sam stepped in and agreed to pay the bills if the US got control of some key posts. Before that disaster, when the UN had an honest and capable Secretary-General like Dag Hammarskjöld, well he was assassinated in 1961 and there was never an adequate worldwide outcry for justice. We now know the “Rhodesian Air Force” shot down his airplane, but IIRC, there was an expose which showed the British secret service provided crucial help for the shoot-down.
Several people who worked with the UN as mid-level employees and contractors told me horrible stories. Member states always used the UN as a dumping ground to “kick upstairs” politicians they wanted to get rid of. At the UN, these dumpster-grade politicians only caused problems for the people who do the real work. And contractors … The UN has a coterie of contractors who are simply outright thieves, stiffing the vendors, and always moving their corporate headquarters to stay in an area where the UN is effectively in control, so no law can touch them. The world is full of vendors and contractors who think the UN must be a good deal, but they often get fleeced and won’t touch any UN business again. Minor stuff, but still a form of rot is that the UN routinely overpays. In the 1970’s translators were paid $350 a day plus expenses and airfare. You only had to know English and French, for example, so nothing exotic nothing too polyphonic. Of course the higher-ups got phenomenal salaries, all paid ultimately by Washington.
Most of the UN needs to be rebuilt. Some parts of it are probably not bad.
A good read!
Fact is, anything and everything that the US touches becomes toxic, politics, sport, culture, food chains, medical . . . . . . .
All these so-called international alphabet organisations, IAEA, OPCW, UN, IMF, all corrupt to the core.
Still, if someone can manufacture a missile that can travel 4000 km and hit its target with a pinpoint accuracy of 5 metres then how difficult should it be to transfer money from one account to another?
Unreliable, allegedly pro-Ukraine avia.pro-net is reporting a tank breakthrough in the Western part of Donetsk, and also in Luhansk.

Donetsk News Agency is also reporting a breakthrough in the DPR of a saboteur squad attempting to reach the Russian border.

This is all uncorfimed, not verified news, take it with a grain of salt.
Other posters are saying the LOC is quiet, the calm before the storm?
Lone Wolf
Lone wolf,
Auslander reported in the previous thread (a few hrs ago) that there was heavy shelling ongoing. Take that to the bank.
@ Ghost of the South
Thanks. Info is coming by installments, Russian media is not on the ground.
RT just published a video of the burning armored vehicles that crossed the Russian border to rescue a saboteur squad, dying in the effort, but nothing else besides the people in LDNR celebrating the good news. Where is Graham Phillips when we need him?

oh man don’t get me started on avia.pro website, it’s usually a cesspool of absolutely made up, completely fake propaganda
The crazy psychopaths in charge of the USA/UK cabal have not gone away, just set back on their arses at the moment. Watch for devistating explosion or gas / biological attack in Ukraine. Ala Skrypal, Syria etc. Death, suffering of others and destruction means nothing to them .
Yes Paul,
Unfortunately you are right. They are too exposed and beyond desperate. After a brief silence, the artillery and guns are firing again. This is why so many foreign mercenaries were brought to the LOC. The matter cannot be entrusted to Ukrainians, to allow the world to absorb the shocking paradigm-changing events of yesterday. They need a lot of noise to overwhelm the senses and return focus to war, rather than orderly peacekeeping based on a legal foundation. They only know how to double-down.
And this certainty was reflected in the grimness and determination of Putin last night.
This victory will need to be consolidated.
That’s a massive decision by Putin.. Putin is showing why he is such a great leader by taking steps that seem to checkmate the West.. It is Russia’ s destiny to checkmate the West on the other hand the time is running out for the Anglo Zionists and they are going to play every dirty trick in the book to get a war. If Russia sends forces which looks likely that might be the time a massive false flag takes place.
Anybody wonder what the political fallout will be in the United States?
For sure Lord Biden and the Democrats will take (as Hussein Obomber liked to frame it) another major shellacking at the polls in both 2022 and 2024. But the big question will be, does Washington make a real hard right turn and install a lot of raving Nazis, a bunch that will claim to require revenge against Putin and Russia before anything is put back to “normal.”
Frankly, if it were me directing strategy for the Republicans, I’d advise them to run a peacenik for president, one who would swear to uphold the original intent of Presidents Reagan and Gorbachev when they agreed to end the original Cold War. I’m thinking that Reagan’s son Ron might fill the role if he’s willing and an honest supporter of his father’s vision. I have no idea if he still engages in politics. He had migrated over to the Democratic side (maybe a non-starter) and worked in media, last I heard.
Besides Tulsi Gabbard, what other politico dares even suggest that it would actually be advantageous for America to peacefully co-exist with Russia? I know, she’s a Dem and the Dems will be so hoping mad at Russia for generations to come that this would probably be impossible unless she changed parties or unless a third party with a chance to win actually emerged.
This WILL have ramifications in the exceptional country, as it SHOULD. Would anyone care to speculate what they think those may be? Think creatively. These are extraordinary, hopefully transformative, times.
Realist,
Let’s not kid ourselves and act like there is a difference between “dems” and “repubs”. It’s time to call a spade, a spade and rightfully refer to it as the uniparty. More war, more taxes, and less constitutional rights.
Are you talking about the WEF “young global leaders” tulsi gabbard? Sure you are…enough said.
Let’s keep our faith in Jesus Christ, and secondly Vladimir Vladimirocich who is doing gods work.
I haven’t heard him say anything about foreign affairs, but Ron de Santis has been pretty rational about domestic issues, taking care of his residents’ real needs, and bucking the internal propaganda.
I cannot find a decent map (or at least one I can understand) on the implications of this recent event on the gas pipelines from Russia through the Urkaine to Europe.
However, it would seem logical (but who knows the details?) that any gas transit agreements involving the land area of the new republics would need to be re-negotiated with new third parties — i.e., the republics etc.
If this is accurate, then: (a) Putin has managed for the Europeans (& Germans in particular) to pay more $fees into the new economies for re-building; and/or (b) for the route to be blocked in negotiations until NS2 is operational.
The Germans will have the spring and summer to think about it but the cold winter of 2022/23 is only 6 months away.
Or am I missing something fundamental?
@imo
Please, let me have the map if you get one. I did not have any idea of the “possible implications” you just mentioned. I have to admit though that I found this move from president Putin, even if highly moral because of the great help toward people so dramatically decimated by almost 9 years of Kiev shelling, not a totally perfect strategic step.
Wouldn’t have been better for them to join Russia? or this is the next step?
@Isammart — “… or this is the next step?”
I would use “strategic” rather than “moral.”
Putin, the lawyer, has used the situation to galvanise all the Russia’s into two voices and one pen: one voice being Mr Lavrov; and the other Mr (Gen.) Shoygu. And he holds the pen in his hand.
Control of complex situations comes from greater variety (complexity). Two new republics provide that. They appear as viable as Lithuania or Estonia etc. In the way; and making a living from it.
I’m not sure there is such a thing as “International law” while one rule-making hegemon is running a fiat-$Reserve-funded Clown Show plantation. But nonetheless, Putin seems to be committed to operating as if there was such a meta-level Law in place. So, these slow documented moves seem to make sense in “force majeure” type scenarios.
The German chancellor, Olaf Scholz gave Putin the handle he needed with that stupid self-justifying quip about “genocide” justifying Nato intervention in Kosovo — and to someone with living memory of the 20+million Russians who died as part of the 20th century German (& Allied) war games! This let the cat out of the bag so to speak and the USA has been in mass media damage control mode ever since. [And one wonders whether this little stage sketch might not have been a ‘wink-and-nod’ strategy between Putin and Scholz to move things forward?]
Clearly, if the translation sub-text is accurate, Putin (and those behind him) have signalled that “Russian speaking” people on the borderlands of Russia can now feel more confident that the Sheriff is back in town. Those Baltic statelettes that have been persecuting “Russian speaking” citizens caught in the USSR withdrew must be thinking about their silence with renewed sense of identity and agency.
However, as for the pipeline contract details, it seems that Kiev is now a failed state (or soon to be) with some “re-wilding” about to take place in the middlands regions, and that any point of gas transit operations technically beyond the Russian’s legal control (but under their protective influence) is possibly an “at-arms-length” stratgeic position in corporate law. If so, and the Eurpoeans want the Russian gas, then they will now need to pay for it under new contract terms — Ukarine routes (+2) or NS1 + NS2; or otherwise go cold or import LNG from wherever. And the Russian’s could hardly be held accountable for choosing to stop genocide as a priority over commercial gas contracts — they have just coppied Nato playbooks.
These little EU pigs are squeeling but with no room to move. The mass deception media in Oz (my locale) is now trying to down play the Russian significance (they are suddenly a very small ‘nobody’ economy) and shift the war drum-beat to BIG China.
Yes, RT, today:

However… the US lost in their confrontation with Russia. They will loose, again, if they try to confront China. Better to surrender and start genuine WIN-WIN negotiations, the CHINESE STYLE!!! :-)))

These two links are 2009 & 2014 vintage but far more detailed.

https://eegas.com/e-ukr_pipe_e.htm
It looks like some of the gas routes may be affected — but others not directly.
It looks to be a very complex system to operate.
Gasprom engineers must be pulling their hair out with all this heightened country risk etc.
A “Mikhail Korchemkin” seems to be the technical goto guy.
Bottom-line: it looks like a minor rather than major matter in the broader context.
No worries; the map I linked to just provides an overview.
The gas network sure is a complex system. It is also old. If I’m not mistaken, the second map you linked to shows an important pumping/compressor hub south of Kharkov (or as the Ukrainians call it, Kharkiv), place called ?Pyervomaiskaya. Very close to Lugansk LoC. I’m no pipeline expert but I think break that and you disrupt flow to Kiev, and also South Ukraine, Moldova and Crimea. I’m not suggesting Donbass forces will do it — they will want to preserve flow so as not to harm Gazprom’s interest — but the Ukrainians who are looking for a false flag? Hmm…food for thought.
https://sputniknews.com/20170324/naftogaz-perilous-fate-1051929822.html
I haven’t seen such a map but I’m almost certain the gas pipelines do not run thru the Donbass.
Russia will keep gas flowing to Europe
1. to the extent that Russia must fulfill its contracted obligations, and
2. as long as Europe can pay for the gas.
Russia has promised or even contracted with Ukraine for gas deliveries to be continued until some year which I forget but it’s before 2025. However, two other things could rear their ugly heads:
A. The Ukie pipes have not gotten maintenance and at some point they will start leaking, the compressors will fail, etc. I’m sure the inspectors have a good idea of how long before it falls apart, and both the Americans and the Russians read the inspectors’ reports.
B. It’s always a CIA or Bandera option to just blow up the pipelines, if that serves the Empire, such as wanting to spite the EU for joining the BRI.
The breathtaking rise in gas prices is mostly due to the EU insistence on letting gas prices be priced by casino capitalism rather than long term contracts. The Russians must be rolling with laughter and their balance of trade is wildly in surplus comparing 2021 and 2020.
1. The current contract with Russian Gazprom for gas transit through the Ukrainian GTS for gas transit expires in 2024.
2. Undermining is unlikely, this is the only strategic asset thanks to which Ukraine is kept.
In addition, blowing up a pipe will not give anything, blowing up a compressor room, too, but blowing up underground gas storage facilities … But no one will give this, as in 2014
if the Nazis try to seize nuclear fuel at the Ukrainian nuclear power plant, they will shoot the fuck like do… like pigs!
I understand there is quite some engineering attention needed to balancing the pipeline network pressures.
However, one would expect there are numerous operational stops and values to allow routine maintenance etc.
No, my original query was more related to seeing how much of this situation could be framed as a classic “resource war” etc.
It’s 20-years old but still carries a message — in this case it’s German atomic-gas-green policy issues triggering off a tight Russia-China political-economic relationship eventually largely outside the $usd & Euro financial system. Even the USA’s denying the Syrian government access to it’s natural oil resources can be seen as part of the greater puzzle:
“From the oilfields of Saudi Arabia to the Nile delta, from the shipping lanes of the South China Sea to the pipelines of Central Asia, Resource Wars looks at the growing impact of resource scarcity on the military policies of nations.
International security expert Michael T. Klare argues that in the early decades of the new millennium, wars will be fought not over ideology but over access to dwindling supplies of precious natural commodities. The political divisions of the Cold War, Klare asserts, have given way to a global scramble for oil, natural gas, minerals, and water. And as armies throughout the world define resource security as a primary objective, widespread instability is bound to follow, especially in those areas where competition for essential materials overlaps with long-standing territorial and religious disputes.”
“Resource Wars: The New Landscape of Global Conflict” by Michael Klare (2002)
He is certainly right, this captain is obvious.
For the transition of the world economy to the New digital (technological) way of Industry 4.0, energy is already needed 2 times more than the existing volumes.
Therefore, the United States started the “Green Revolution” scam and so on …
You understand that not everyone will survive. And those who survive may regret it.
Russia and the United States are self-sufficient and sovereign, and there are no more such country-states
Viva La Rossiya, Donetsk and Luhansk! Best wishes to all from Australia! Long live Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin!
Don’t understand this big thing about sanctions, if anything those so-called ‘sanctions’ are only directed at hurting Europe. This is not about Ukraine, 404 state, it is about Europe independence from Anglo-Saxons bullies, the usual suspects, using NATO as a mafia-style ‘security extortion racket’ run by the MIC and backed up by the full force of the US military around the world… I predict NATO break up within the next 2 years… or an European war which in the end will fulfill the aim of the Anglos to keep Europe under the boot of the U$, perhaps even a World War of unimaginable destruction if going nuclear…
About those ‘sanctions’, Russia is sitting on the richest land on Earth, incalculable wealth of immense destiny, in every aspects of resources and diversity of every possible equation, name it, Russia has more they ever need, if anything those ‘sanctions’ will turn the joke against all those nations wanting to hurt Holy Russia, they can turn off gas, refuse to sell anything to the rest of the world, carry on in improving their infrastructure and wait… It won’t be long before many countries will come begging for better ‘relations’ and the rest will be history.
Congratulation to Donbass! I hope you will reunite with Russia (your mother country) soon. I love Putin! What a theatrical F.U. and middle finger to Neocons and Ukronazi! Hope one day Ukraine will be free from foreign invaders.
A step toward for the dignity of man. Now for the hard part.
I am from Germany. And I am so happy about these citizens. I feel warmth and joy in me and that is certainly not comparable with the citizens in Donbass. And most of the fools in my country don’t even realize that you are being deprived of freedom and joy.
I am so happy. I was shocked or amazed at the recognition of Donbass for a short time. I thought, whoops, the Minsk 2 wild card has been redeemed. The vacuum has been broken.
Now I am happy. The turning point is actually happening. Let’s see how the battered West reacts. With action or a big media exhaustion.
Andrei,
Should be forget about ”false flag in Kiev”?
Putin should consider removing NATO bases in the area (especially in the Baltics) since there won’t be any trade relations between EU/US and Russia anyways in the foreseeable future and NATO can’t punish Russia militarily in the region.
So why shouldn’t Russia remove this existential threat? Let’s see how willing NATO is to fight to the last American soldier for Lithuania and their so called alliance!
No just leave them to rot on the Nazi vine.
Note the first round of “sanctions” is limited only to prohibition against investing in the new Donbass. Nothing against Russia directly, so far.
Russia did not “invade”, but “recognized”.
And this means that Russia did not violate anything and there are no formal reasons for imposing sanctions
Happy for the Donbass. The Donbass is small potatoes. The issue is which way Western Europe will jump. Has the US pushed too hard to cut Western Europe off from Russia and keep it in the US economic orbit? The fixation on military dominance is misplaced. The US is primarily a commercial, not a military, empire. The risk for the West is not war. Serious war won’t happen. That’s not the way the Empire does business. The US will always back off. The risk is energy costs and inflation if NS2 is blocked and more sanctions are imposed.
Actually, high enough energy prices (not there yet, +30-50% from todays prices) will suppress the current inflation because it will lead to a recession and suppress consumer spending and demand.
It is absolutely possible that the West has chosen to push the Ukraine to the brink of war right now for this purpose. It wouldn’t be the first time that energy prices and wilfully induced recessions have been used to achieve political ends.
I do not see that Russia was itching for this conflict, they were constantly trying to push Ukraine to implement the Minsk agreement and thereby reintegrate these territories. The Ukraine puppet regime didn’t want to and they could’ve only done this with the support and guidance of the West.
The peace loving people of the world must be thankful to have such a leader to stand up to the gangs masquerading as democracies. Congratulations to Putin, the Russian people and the world for a such a decision that will expose the west’s impotence and incompetance.
Thank you Andrei for the accurate analysis and anticipated decision of Russia. You have the advantage of having the ability to look at Both Russia and the empire from inside and outside with first hand tools. Having mastered the languages of both worlds give you unmatched and reliable advantage. Congratulations.
I am happy for Donbass, for Russia, for the oppressed peoples of the world. We have hit the tipping point. From now (22/02/2022) on, many changes will happen all over the world. I expect the Third World to react, soon, and start kicking the imperialists out of their territories. It is definetely the end of empire, the end of imperialism.
Coercion to comply with the Minsk agreements, or This is not an “invasion”, but “recognition” (we are waiting for negotiations between Russia and the USA)))
The Russian Parliament (the State Duma and the Federation Council) ratifies the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the Russian Federation and the DPR, the Russian Federation and the LPR. For a period of 10 years, with automatic renewal for five-year periods.
The agreements with the recognized Republics provide for the joint protection of the state border of the LPR and the DPR.
Within the borders at the time of the referendum on the self-determination of the republics, that is, within the borders of 2014, from the conclusion of the Minsk agreements (!))). In other words, within Soviet borders.
Military-technical response (one of its parts)
Another article explicitly states that, in order to ensure security, peace and stability, each of the contracting parties will grant the other party the right to build, use and improve by its armed forces military infrastructure and military bases (objects) on its territory.
The conditions and procedure for the exercise of such a right will be determined in each specific case by separate agreements.
Russia will also support financial and banking structures.
The borders is a little confusing when you read the tass article:
https://tass.com/russia/1407803
“Russia will recognize the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) within the borders that have been currently established, the issue of the ratification of agreements on friendship and cooperation with the republics will be reviewed by the Federation Council on Tuesday, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council’s (the upper house of parliament) Foreign Affairs Committee Andrey Klimov said.
“Of course, we are talking about those territories that are located within the borders established to date. The rest is beyond the framework of legal activity,” the senator told the Russia-24 TV channel…..”
So thanks for the clarification. Another article says within the borders when the referendum took place:
https://tass.com/politics/1407891
“Head of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Leonid Kalashnikov on Tuesday said he believes Russia will recognize the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics as independent states within the borders that they set at a referendum to proclaim their independence in 2014.
“This agreement doesn’t specify but I think what’s being meant is sovereignty that was affirmed by the old and only referendum, which was held within different borders compared with what the DPR has now,” he told reporters. “The DPR and LPR now occupy a smaller territory compared with what they had at the time of the referendum but they believe their sovereignty extends to that territory as well.”
“The people’s Council (parliament) of the Lugansk people’s republic on Tuesday ratified the agreement on friendship, cooperation, and mutual assistance between the LPR and Russia, according to a TASS reporter present at the session.
The ratification was unanimously approved y 46 lawmakers out of the 46 that were present for the special plenary session. The first reading was immediately followed by the second, final reading.
As the voting wrapped up, there was a round of applause. A standing ovation was accompanied by the exclamations, “Thank you, Russia!”

The “legislative body of the Donetsk People’s Republic” can ratify at least a hundred times a day … whatever it wants. )))
That is only the formal proclamation. As expected. In the same way Ukraine claims these and Crimea are parts of Ukraine.
Until Ukraine pulls a Georgia, it is likely the LOC will become the de-facto state border.
The DNR nor the LNR have the ability to force Ukraine to accept the administrative borders they proclaim. And Russian will not fight their war for them they same they did not fight for Abkhazia or SO in the 90s.
At same, Ukraine does not have the force to enforce their destruction. Not with Russian behind their backs.
Should Kiev pull a Georgia – today – without the element of suprise and with 1/2 the Russian army ready, it would be a suicide. And even the morons at Azov and the like know it.
But 10 years down the line, with the Russian military in a peace posture, anything can happen..
From the Chinese Foreign minister:
“The current development of the situation on the Ukrainian issue is closely related to the delay in the effective implementation of the Minsk agreements.”
Delay? How about the total unwilingless to implement it?

I’m not gonna watch in order to find out, but it’s gonna be funny to observe how western presstitutes explain to westoids that Russia now invaded the territories they have supposedly occupied for 8 years.
This feels so good – action. When you realize that Russia is truly done with explaining to westoids their position. It has tried since forever and now that’s done. Nothing of value will be lost.
Congratulations to Russia and the LDNR! Light is beginning to shine.
There is no question that 21 Feb 2022 is an historic day that will be remembered as significant in world history.
The sublime and superlative leadership of Putin, Lavrov, Shoigú, et al have established these men as world class leaders and statesmen who will be remembered for having challenged and prevailed over the machinations of pure evil which has consumed the West and threatened the entire world.
I shall be listening repeatedly today to a tape of an old, inherited album from the 1960’s, ‘Cossacks on the Don‘, with its thunderous, manly choruses and beautiful, haunting solos.
It was this album which helped me begin to break through the incessant, cold-war brainwashing that Russia and its constituent peoples were inherently evil. For those who serve the Devil can possess no such transcendent musicality.
But I must also remind myself that it is too early for euphoria, vigilance is paramount, and there is much more work to be done.
It has been brought to my attention that the 248 year orbital path of Pluto has returned it back to where it was at America’s founding. In mythology, Pluto signifies death and rebirth, change and transformation, the karmic cycle.
While astrology may be questionable, the power of myth is real. There is no such thing as a coincidence.
This is profound. The wheel is coming back full-circle. We are all witnesses.
A question for the globalist controlled United Nations: what is the difference between the Peoples’ Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk and South Sudan? What is needed now is recognition of the two republics by countries that are not deceived by the US and it’s surrogates’ anti-Russian hysteria.
Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Republic of Northern Cyprus, …
The most illustrative example of US/NATO aggression and genocide is the tearing of Yugoslavia (SFRY) into 6.2 non-countries.
That will constitute an interesting international plebiscite. How many countries will follow the examples of Syria and Yemen? I would hope China, Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil, South Africa, India, Iran, Iraq…
Scotland, Mexico… ))) we weren’t fully paid for Alaska.

Today, 22/02/2022, is the first day of a new era. The tipping point was yesterday. From now on, it will be victory for humanity at every conflict with the ‘chosen ones’.
The recognition of the Republics by Russia occurs immediately after the humiliation of Russia at the Munich Conference of the head of the NATO member states.
This is the answer, and – so far – very peaceful.
And about the Integrated Integrated
massive air strike (MAS), – the concept of using which within the framework of a “multisphere operation” replaced the concept of PGS (Prompt Global Strike) with the prospect of achieving global superiority through the combat use of high-precision hypersonic (!))) non-nuclear weapons capable of delivering lightning strikes on the objects of the nuclear missile forces of the opposing side (Russia), – search the Internet yourself. )))
For your information, 80 percent of the combat power of the US/NATO forces comes from air strikes.
But this is all for the Papuans and Indians, Russia will not even allow NATO planes to take off – airfields with planes will be destroyed in advance. When preparing, it is impossible to maintain secrecy. And this means a preemptive nuclear-non-nuclear massive strike by Russia. Which today has an overwhelming advantage in strategic nuclear forces and tactical nuclear forces.
If Putin had not made this decision, his rating would have fallen to the bottom. And it may seem that this is a forced move, but it is not. Russia began to annex Crimea in 2012, and has been preparing for today’s redistribution of the world since 2006!
This is when the Baltic states could move with small gestures of goodwill – re-opening a Russian language school, a Russian language tv station or web site.
Alternatively, the Baltics could hide behind US security guarantees and see how far it gets them.

Not a step back, Russia. Let this one be our generation´s Stalingrad. Next step forward: Kharkov & Odessa. Hurrah!
Congratulations, LNR & DNR!
But, there is one thing really puzzling me:
After almost eightyears, they finally got independance from Ukrostan –
and there are only 20 (twenty) people celebrating in the streets? In a city of more than one million?
Don’t get it…
There was an evacuation of cities close to the contact zone a week ago … so only the men stayed in. Most of which are now mobilized.
Massive celebrations while in a firing range of Ukrainian forces is not a good idea. Too much of a juicy target for some folks …
The war is not over for these people. Not yet.

Russian parliament ratifies Donbass agreements

The decision was passed unanimously by MPs
From now on, the only borders remain to determine are the ones of Oblast Lvov & adjacent region. The rest is historically Russian like Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov.
to Andrew Neopalimyil we are here to discuss events and ideas … attacking other commentator is not acceptable … mod

Before commenting on this topic, study the history, in particular the section “Glacic-Volyn principality of Ancient Russia. Russian princes, Orthodoxy.”
Congratulations to the people of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics! May peace be quickly established and your future bright!
Scholz stops NS2
He said not to stop, but to suspend!
This is a trick, the certification deadline is until the end of March.
I wrote that, I think, they will launch on May 9 – the Day of Russia’s Victory over American-European national fascism.
But in general, when it will be profitable for us, then we will launch the NS-2.
The underground gas storage facilities of the EU are already almost empty – there is less than 5 percent of gas.
Really? Well, Germany – and its master — will be accused of destroying the EU, then, not Russia. :-)))
Personal existential choice of herr Scholz? )))
Rather, it is a choice between life and death – “to be or not to be”, “being or nothing”, so don’t give a damn about menia, owenki, mischief. Or will there be another herr… herr kanzler
Went tectonic shifts and the borders of young European countries (year of birth – 1945) will change.
The delegitimization of the borders of Europe, the World starts! )))
“An existential choice is a necessary choice in the context of tense existential givens between life-determining possibilities “marked” by a person as values and having the status of alternatives for him.”
And the brain dead, peons do there masters bidding & cut their own throats…..
Kiss good bye to an ‘industrial Germany/Europe’, I expect that Europe & the UK are going to be very dark and cold in the coming months/years…..

Russian President Putin Recognizes Donetsk and Luhansk as Independent Breakaway Territories of Ukraine – Biden Fires Back by Sanctioning the People Living in Donetsk and Luhansk

Meanwhile, I am seeing a strong support for Putin’s decision among the conservative MAGA patriot faction.
They are waking up to the western puppet masters and seeing Putin as fighting the same ones they are.
This recognition of the difference between Putin fighting for his people, contrasted with western leaders who are abusing civil liberties under the Great Reset and Climate Change and Woke agenda driven by puppet-master globalists and World Economic Forum people, has been developing throughout the pandemic and the trucker protests and has reached critical mass. As if to say, finally, someone is standing up to the bully.
People are posting things like “I never thought I’d be rooting for Putin and Russia but here we are.”
Perhaps the leading intellectuals here should cross-pollinate with the better parts of the conservatives for maximum effect in this regard.
For a fun example I would pay a premium to hear The Saker and Sundance of the Conservative Treehouse have some deep conversation about what needs to happen next. Both of you are top-flight analysts and a public dialogue or paper exchange at this historical juncture would be absolutely electrifying.
This will shock no one, but German cancelor cancelled ratification of North Stream 2. Obviously he had in his position no other possibility. The only problem is that pretty much everything what Russia would have done, would have ended in this decision LOL.
As pepe Escobar wrote today, these sanctions (which will be announced today by US and Co) were probably already decided on 2 months ago.
Next few days will remain interesting!
And die solemnly by candlelight. ))) To the fanfare !
Unfortunately, Germany participated in the sanctions because of the recognition of the Donbass republics. We all need to learn lessons from the stupidity of the entire West. Donbass will become prosperous and happy now under the protection of Russia. Russia must turn to China and forget about the West and Germany. It is impossible for Germany to change its paradigm now. Germany is now ruled by matronly women who obsessively pursue the ideology of Equality. With that they built an artificial society and civilization. Game over for this generation. Only the next German generation that will come will be able to reflect that total equality between men and women is utopia, it is not possible. Merkel had no children and is now suffering from Parkinson’s disease, and maliciously hiding this information from girls who don’t want to have children because of her career. The Bible and its millennial wisdom teaches that a nation cannot be ruled by women. This is the main difference for russia and china. Russians must stop lusting after Subway, McDonalds, American Christian churches with their services made with Multilevel Marketing and lots of show and sensationalism. American Christian services lost their solemnity and reverence and became shows played by alienated youth. If American Christian NGOs are not cut off from Russia, with the death of Putin, liberalism and feminism will dominate Russia. Russia should make the Chinese language mandatory and full exchange with China. Only way to russia. With the recognition of the Donbass republics, liberal and pro-Western Russia will attack Putin and his government. The Russian education system must be directed towards China. Time of changes!
What does Parkinson’s have to do with having children or not?
My grandmother had it at the old age, and she had three.
If Merkel hadn’t been such an anti-smoking idiot, she would not suffer from a neurodegenerative disease.
Anti-smoking was such a massive scam, only imbeciles could ever believe it.
These bastards have a lot of crimes to account for.
Ekate, here in Germany the real thinkers and intellectuals are being censored and ignored, just like before the first world war.
Schools in Germany are against Piaget’s teachings. The pedagogue and psychologist Jean Piaget presents that Constructivism cannot be done in an artificial formation, without integration with the child’s parents. The Western school is pitting the great theorists against Gestalt. Angela Merkel wanted to create a scientific-artificial German civilization, not respecting the spiritual dimension of reality. I agree that an extremely scientific society is really doomed to nihilism. I know you like Merkel, which is why I don’t believe Europe will recover. Tobacco is bad for health. I’m sorry, Merkel influenced all of Europe, and she hides the truth, and she directed German and even European society to this chaos, to this situation that German politics finds itself and this lack of coordination in society and lack of synergy. It’s too late for Germany, it will splinter/divide in the future. Too late for reflection. The Zionist empire won here!
God bless Russia and Wladimir Putin.
Where is the English version of Putin’s Feb 21st address? Can’t find one anywhere. This speech needs to be disseminated throughout social media as much as possible. Kremlin website is down (Anonymous carrying out DDoS attack?)
