By Matthew Ehret for the Saker Blog
On September 26, President Trump announced that a long-overdue project would receive Federal support which involves connecting Alaska for the first time with Canada and the lower 48 states via a 2570 km railway.
In his Tweet announcing the project, Trump said:
Ever since the days of the sale of Alaska from Russia to the USA in 1867, it was understood by leading statesmen of both nations that an inevitable next phase in human society’s evolution would involve extending the U.S. Trans Continental Railway through Canada, into Alaska and thence into Russia and Asia via the Bering Strait rail tunnel. This project had received fervent support from such figures as Russian Prime Minister Sergei Witte, Colorado’s Governor William Gilpin and even Czar Nicholas II who commissioned American engineers to conduct a feasibility study in 1906. These stories were told in full in my recent reports The Missed Chance of 1867, and The Real Story Behind the Alaska Purchase.
By the mid 20th century, the project to connect Alaska with Canada and the rest of the continent while opening the Arctic for development found its champions in the forms of Vice President Henry Wallace (1941-1945), President John F Kennedy (1961-63) and in Canada B.C. Premier W.A.C. Bennett (1952-72) and Prime Minister John Diefenbaker (1957-1963).
During Bennett’s 20 year role as Premier (from 1952-1972), the Province was pulled quickly into the 20th century becoming an international hub of hydroelectric power, industrial growth and water management. As the story was told in Forgotten Battles Against the Deep State: W.A.C. Bennett vs the Malthusians, Bennett’s growth program never occurred without vicious battles pitting high level anti-development Rhodes Scholars operating within both Ottawa and his own Provincial administration against him and his small team of nation builders. Unfortunately for Bennett who always intended his northern rail programs to connect with Alaska, his key ally in Ottawa was taken out of power during a Rhodes Scholar-driven coup in 1963 and John F Kennedy, who met Bennett and supported many of infrastructure initiatives fell earlier that same year.
With the fall of these statesmen, a new paradigm took hold of western society premised on living in the moment, rejecting ideas like “the nuclear family”, belief in scientific and technological progress”, or the study of “dead white European males” in universities.
The era of building things was choked off and an era of monetary growth was unleashed like a cancerous tumor under globalization.
Today, with the immanent breakdown of the post-1971 de-regulated order, a new order is emerging and it remains to be seen who will benefit.
For all of his limitations, President Trump has displayed a rare and invaluable quality unseen in an American president for decades: Humanity and genuine patriotism. While neocons and technocrats attempt to gain the upper hand amidst the impending blowout of the $1.5 quadrillion derivatives bubble called the western economy, a new epoch of serious nation building has emerged with the Russia-China alliance and Belt and Road Initiative, which has extended development corridors, industrial zones and mass infrastructure led by rail throughout Asia, Africa and increasingly into the Russian Arctic under the Polar Silk Road.
In its essential character, this Multipolar alliance represents a form of thinking and action which are much more in alignment with discoverable principles of natural law (premised not on “Might Makes Right but rather “Right makes Might” as enunciated famously by the great Chinese President and revolutionary in his Three Principles of the People (modelled on his studies of Lincoln’s principles of government) where he said: “The rule of Right respects benevolence and virtue, while the rule of Might only respects force and utilitarianism. The rule of Right always influences people with justice and reason, while the rule of Might always oppresses people with brute force and military measures.”
Todays potential re-emergence of the Alaska-Canada Railway which would be driven under a pro-Pacific and pro-Arctic development model represents the first genuine display of this paradigm in North America in decades.
If it survives the oncoming Environmental Impact Assessments and Federal Government of Canada (which is currently run by anti-development Rhodes Scholars and technocrats committed to depopulation and world government), then it will not only upon up bountiful resources locked up in the inaccessible Arctic, create tens of thousands of much needed jobs directly and millions of jobs indirectly and vector North America’s economic destiny with the ever-growing Asian markets led by China. Most importantly, it will do much to break the west free of the two-fold trap of anti-development versions of environmentalism on the one side and pro-militarization right wing views on the other side- bringing us into a policy of win-win cooperation with our Eurasian partners.
The Alaska-Alberta Railway Development Corporation (tasked by Trump with the job of building and managing this $17 billion project), features on its website programs to tie North America into the Asian market as well as help integrate a North American transport system whose once proud rail system have fallen derelict since WWII and the age of “highways and cars” took over.
A2A CEO Sean McCoshen stated as much this year when he said: “This is a world-class infrastructure project that will generate more than 18,000 jobs for Canadian workers at a time when they are most needed, provide a new, more efficient route for trans-Pacific shipping and thereby link Alberta to world markets.”
Whether or not such programs which may now occur since Globalizated monsters like NAFTA and the TPP have been jettisoned giving nation states the authority to exercise a dirigistic role in long term economic planning remains to be seen.

Wonder if Mr. Ehret was passed over for a Rhodes Scholarship once upon a time. The very expression ‘Rhodes scholar’ seems to make him froth at the mouth.

The very name “Rhodes” send shivers down the back of many educated men, but the name Rhodes Scholar send many into a fit of rage and a feeling of profound sadness of what humanity lost bc of them. These humans are soulless golems in my eyes and “know thy enemy” was in my thoughts when i decided to read all i could find from/about him/them.
Ehret put some good links in this one- https://orientalreview.org/2019/07/06/the-british-roots-of-the-deep-state-how-the-round-table-infiltrated-america/
Perhaps it even will enlighten you a little to why “The very expression ‘Rhodes scholar’ seems to make him froth at the mouth.”🤷♂️
My blood pressure and voice rises a bit when i talk about them to, unfortunately🤪😂

I suggest you read “Hidden History: The Secret Origins of the First World War.”. It is only $12.99 on Kindle. I am assuming of course that your motives for trying to muddy the waters are honest.
I see scarcely a thought to the dire impact that such a “development” project would/will have on fragile and unique Arctic and sub-Arctic ecosystems.
Absent viable, thriving ecosystems neither humanity nor much of the rest of the biosphere have a future on this planet.
Once the intricate web of life is shattered in the name of “economic development” it is dead forever.
Here are some useful points of departure:
https://eventhorizonchronicle.blogspot.com/2018/06/preliminary-program-for-survivable-world.html
The real global initiative that humanity needs is spiritual, not economic, not religious not political, not industrial.
Spiritual.
Until humanity reconnects with the living Earth at a spiritual, reverential, conscious level we are doomed as a species, and will continue destroying both the Earth and ourselves — all in the name of “modern progress.”
Political games as we know them are a dead end going nowhere. Building more railroads to ferry widgets from Siam to where I am — how does that help the living Earth?
Any person with two grams of common sense would know and understand that a railroad line a few meters wide would not disrupt an entire ecosystem just look at any railway line in the world for the evidence. As for the benefit of the living world, people are a large part of it, and poverty does not help people, however trade and commerce relives poverty and leads to a life out of poverty which most people prefer.
Second and third order thinking are important, Cj. It’s what follows hard on the heels of the railroad lines. Railroads exist in a more extensive context. Always.
Mining, timbering, towns, cities, urban sprawl, industrialization, pollution, contamination, etc. For just one example: when the railroads extended into the western region of the USSA after the Civil War, in the last half of the 19th century, the trains brought in settlers, soldiers, industrialists, miners, loggers, hunters, etc. The first wave of invaders slaughtered the great buffalo herds that roamed the West, thereby starving the Indian tribes into absolute poverty, and the USSA Army then murderously ran the Indians who survived the great time of genocidal starvation off the land that they had lived on for thousands of years and into concentration camps, er, “reservations.”
So the railroads that were only a “few meters wide” in short order directly led to tremendous environmental destruction, a continental genocide against Native Americans, and much more. It’s embarrassing that I have to explain these elementary historical and ecological facts.
Destruction of the environment follows the railroad lines, and then the highways, and towns and cities and strip mines, and pipelines and dams, and petroleum refineries, and forest destruction that follow — always — as “development” occurs.. So people can have a cell phone, a Tesla, a motorcycle, a flat panel TV, Budweiser beer, two cars, a MacMansion, a riding lawnmower and on and on. The last great forests on this planet are in Siberia, the Canadian north and the Amazon basin and they are all under assault and being destroyed.
The destruction of the Canadian north has been devastating for indigenous communities who have lived there for thousands of years, destroying the land and their traditional way of life. It has been vicious. Do indigenous people who live in the forests, and their cultural, legal and human rights, matter to you? If they do, you would not say the things that you have said to me.
In fact, the global, monetized economy has produced billions of desperately poor people all over the Earth, subsisting on $5 or less per day. There are more desperately poor people on Earth today than ever before in history — in the midst of all of this modern, economic “progress.” Destroying the planet and humanity in the name of “development.”
So much for more railroads and roads and cities and factories bettering the lot of the vast bulk of humanity.
Either you see it or you don’t. If you don’t, oh, well.
Quibbles: Buffalo soldiers slaughtered the heards to deprive the ‘locals’ of food, kinda like giving a farmer blighted seed potatoes to plant. Today we call it genocide.
No ‘locals’ lived in Canada’s north ever. Did they stay there during summer months, nomadic, yes, but they did not live there during the winter………….they are not that stupid. To claim ‘soverignty’ over the ‘property’, roaming nomads, once defeated by English Colonials, were made to stay in one place; see the plight of Quebec’s Dene as one of many examples.
Forcing ‘nomads’ to stay in one place destroys their tradional way of life………….as for cultural, legal and human rights……….who has those btw……………..it’s an English colony, ‘same as it ever was.’
Cheers, M
” with two grams of common sense”
Since omniscience cannot exist “knowledge” appears counter-intuitive, and hence “common sense” is counter-intelligence, irrespective the “weight” of the perceptor.
A spiritual life does not pay the bills, the human race was doomed to self destruct from the beginning of time, w/a few hold outs the rare exception to this rule.
The planet has done, and shall do, just fine, god i’m afraid, is not as lucky.
@ Alabama The planet is not doing “just fine.” The seas are massively polluted, the biosphere is rapidly dying off, the air and water are contaminated, the great forests are being cut down, mountains are being leveled by industrial strip mining, and that’s just a superficial, partial inventory of the wanton destruction that so-called “modern” culture is wreaking on the Earth.
Your comment seems unconscious or unfeeling to me. That’s my sober assessment.
As for your saying that a spiritual life does not pay the bills, actually, a more spiritual life might get a lot of those pesky “bills” right out of your life entirely. See how east it is: iPhone bill — gone! cable TV bill — gone! Flat panel TV bill — gone! MacMansion bill — gone! Caribbean cruise bill — gone! ATV bill — gone! etc. As the shallowness of “modern” life becomes clearer and other priorities take root.
You say: “… god i’m afraid is not as lucky.”
What does that even mean!!?? The statement is incomprehensible to me.
Are you aware of the state of the planet 12,800 to 11,800 years ago?
Pretty much the top half of the northern hemisphere was erased from the map via cosmic impacts and the resulting cataclysmic floods from the melting of the 3km thick ice sheet covering the top of the world. Not to mention a rise in the earth’s temperature of 8 degrees celsius in the space of a decade.
It took 500 years for archeological evidence of humans to appear again in north America.
The solution to mankind’s unique challenges involve many different things. Reducing inequality and improving understanding, co-operation and positive diplomacy between different nations seems like a positive component of a better future.
You do know that attributing sentience to a planet (or worse, deeming it worthy of consideration bordering upon worship) is as ancient and discredited as just about any heresy out there, right?
Paraphrasing the wonderful St. Seraphim: “Save yourself and you’ll save thousands around you.”
I join you in deeming spiritual matters as being far, far and above in relevance and importance to economic and material “gains”.
That said, I pray you’ll be careful about who/what you venerate.
“I see scarcely a thought to the dire impact that such a “development” project would/will have on fragile and unique Arctic and sub-Arctic ecosystems”
Much the same nonsense was expressed when a pipeline to Alaska’s North Slope was proposed. It has been in use for 43 years and the fake environmentalists have stopped bleating. I use the word fake because their agenda is to prevent progress and development. The current destruction of the world economy because of a trivial virus is a great success for them.

“Ever since the days of the sale of Alaska from Russia to the USA in 1867…”
1867 was also the year of Canada ceased to be a colony of the British Empire and the building of the Canadian Pacific Railroad, in part to circumvent a possible invasion of Canada by the United States of America, part of the reason for the United States of America bought Alaska to facilitate opportunities of pincer movements.
The belief in magic wands and good looks is not unknown in “the United States of America” as well as knowledge of the back catalogue of Ms. Lesley Gore including “Its my party.”
The answer to the question – Do you think your opponent is as stupid as you are ? for “The United States of America” is often yes, condition by even less since we are exceptional, where less is more.
Possibly remembering the collected works of Ms. Gore, in 1973 “The United States of America” sabotaged a project including German, Japanese and Soviet interests to nullify the prevailing trend to connect Japan to Europe by sea, partly as a consequence of the US dollar becoming a fiat currency, the increased practice of raw material markets including oil being traded in US dollars, and the growing German and Japanese dollar reserves.
The first 3 parts of this project were:
to create a freeport and transhipment facility for dry and wet cargoes at Nahodka in Primorski krai connected to the Trans-Siberian Railroad,
to modernise the Trans Siberian Railroad including laying a parallel track to upgrade the system and build state of the art signalling systems to increase traffic flow since in 1973 both Germany and Japan were world leaders in the field at that time
and to create a further trans-shipment facility to access the Danube/Rhine and Maas riverine networks, primarily funded by German and Japanese dollar reserves.
The 4th part of the project was to connect Honshu to Hokkaido and then Hokkaido to Primorski krai by rail bridges akin to the present bridges connecting Denmark to Sweden and Crimea to the rest of the Russian Federation – 4th because Japan has so many dollars that they were vulnerable.
In 1993 preliminary talks were held to explore potential of ressurecting the project, but at that time Germany was concentrating on integrating East Germany, Japan was still interested even if only preparing the Honsu-Hokkaido bridging thereby retaining opportunities of plausible denial, whilst republics of the former Soviet Union were subjected to attempts at “colour revolutions”.
From circa 1994 in conjunction with Austrian interests, German interests resurrected the Danube/Rhine/Maas project incorporating the canal at Cerna Voda in Romania and its widening for access to the Black Sea and subsequently to the Mediterranean Sea via the Bosphorus with the potential of accessing in the future, Russian and Ukrainian riverine systems through the Dneiper and the Volga, with repair and servicing facilities from Braila downstream and Constanta approximately where the Crena Voda canal meets the Black Sea.
In 1998 “NATO” bombed Serbia blocking the Danube downstream from the Iron Gates roughly at the half-way point between Germany and Romania, consequently Germany and to a lesser degree Austria, experienced a sudden and temporary distaste for remote civil engineering projects not funded by various EU programmes, like the present Danube projects in Bulgaria and Romania, primarily but not exclusively. based on tourism.
Given the disposition of forces, at first confidentially, the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China entered into discussions to develop a project informed by the work of 1973 but significantly upgraded which became known to some as The New Silk Road.
At present “The United States of America” is attempting to sabotage Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
So do you think it “highly likely” that “The United States of America” would be sent an invitation to the party: if so why?
The United States of America is of a nervous disposition and seeking the comfort blanket of having a block (not a mental one) that will be wary of dancing with other partners and it is “highly likely” that a purpose, not the purpose, of their wishes could be to more closely integrate Alaska and Canada so their heads are not turned.
That is an unknown reason for the bombing of Serbia…which some people considers was made on behalf of Germany so that piecing a competing economic powerhouse called Yugoslavia…as it was GDR…
Good to know you also take LaRouche with a grain of salt….
The LaRouchies make their pronouncements and then go off to sell it as if it is a given. Funny bunch and not high on my list unfortunately. The US will join the silk road only perhaps when they become sane.
At the moment, the he People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is hosting five military drills at sea: two in the South China Sea, one in the East China Sea and two in the Yellow Sea. They are kinda getting angry about US overflights and ‘freedom of navigation’ exercises. As to today’s situation, this article is really reaching.
PRC has already warned they will go to war about Taiwan, with respect rumors of the US stablishing military base there…
“The US will join the silk road only perhaps when they become sane.”
You make huge assumptions – that “United States of America” would be asked to join, and would still exist as a “political entity” to be able to be asked to join.
“That is an unknown reason for the bombing of Serbia”.
Such behaviour is relatively normal for colonial powers although many people think it inconceivable – the Cassandra principal applies – which is increased by “normal people” gaining advantages from colonialism how ever small which they seek to deny and are aided in this denial by those whom who seek to sustain colonial relations.
When locals participate in massacres they are usually “rewarded” with small items such as “inheriting” the clothing of the recently deceased, the leverage of complicity is generally reserved for a future occasion.
That was the story of the creation of myths of the non-participation in National Socialism of “normal people”, but more particularly the “elites” in Germany, complicity in evangelising these myths are component parts of the relationships of “leverage”, a.k.a. blackmail, that colonial powers hold over others which has a decreasing half-life with change of generation, and why the sustainable purpose is transcendence of these social relations, not the “defeat” of this colonial power whilst leaving another colonial power unimpeded or the emulation of these social relations.
That is a component part of why “The United States of America”, which is a synonym of “elite classes”, has from inception has sought “leverage” over others including their “own populations” by blowing dust in their eyes including but not restricted to “We the people hold these truths to be self-evident” which facilitates the obfuscation of relationships of dependency, including the dependency of the state of Israel and other client states of “The United States of America” and the portrayal of “The United States of America” as victim- hence the reference in another thread to Ms. Olivia Newton-Johns’ rendition of If-not-for-you.
“made on behalf of Germany..”
As Mr. Machiavelli correctly observed that a prince(or even a would be prince) has no friends as some are realising in Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and elsewhere.
The United States of America only ever acts for itself, any benefit that others may derive from “US” efforts are crumbs from the table, the concept of crumbs sometimes referred to as “The special relationship” was initially broached at a meeting of the Imperial General staff with observers (Russians not invited) in London in March 1943, around 6 weeks after the Axis forces surrendered at Stalingrad, and on or about 1st May 1945 in the Bolzano region when Mr. Karl Wolff representing the SS, the de-facto succesor state of the “Third Reich”, and Mr. Allen Dulles representing apparently representing no one at all accepted the final surrender of Axis forces in Italy and Austria,
The sabotage of projects including the Suez project of 1956 were pulls on the respective leashes, the pull of Israel’s leash being after the first week of the Yom Kippur war of 1973, the pull of Japan’s leash was encouragent to integrate in dollar based systems.
That is also a component part of why “The United States of America” does not consider the People’s Republic of China and/or the Russian Federation as competitors, but as existential threats, an evaluation understood by “The United States of America” and some classes in some other countries, the People’s Republic of China and The Russian Federation since their purpose is the transcendence of the social relations presently designated as “The United States of America” – the transcendence of coercive social relations by co-operative social relations, framed by some beneficiaries of coercive social relations as “trying to steal or rice bowls”, the very thing that they do to others, and why tourists in war zones don’t tend to enjoy continued well-being.
Enjoy your journey.
“That is an unknown reason for the bombing of Serbia…which some people considers was made on behalf of Germany”
The strategist who has one reason, cause, or tactic is usually a fool, and those who conflate strategy with belief/hope are subject to greater assays of opportunism and the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
Sometimes even the opponents learn new tricks including not rubbing the dog’s nose in their productions when the dogs shit on the carpet, although products of certain social relations tend to find this difficult, since they are often tempted to rain down on supplicants and those they perceive as weak.
In 2014 and at regular intervals there after, “advice” was given through this portal by some of the “correct approaches” to be made to “The United States of America”, including to not appear weak and be prepared to emulated them, predicated on the notions that everyone has the same purpose and methods in achieving their purpose.
In illustration of the notion that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, some believe that they are analysts and/or strategists with the “luxury” of not testing their hypotheses in practice.
“Some people considers” is an opportunity to transcend some people by their own complicity sharing the workload.
Enjoy your journey.
“The strategist who has one reason, cause, or tactic is usually a fool, “
whilst spectators usually concentrate centre-stage facilitating attempts at co-ordination of parallel strategies, sometimes over a spectrum from micro to macro. to affect various purposes.
In a previous thread the example of the man going to a doctor with a rash (symptom) was used to illustrate how to encourage spectators to make connections where none exist.
This technique can also be used to obfuscate connections which do exist, afforded enhanced “potential denability” when reference is made to the notion of “conspiracy theories”
As an illustration lets consider
1. The Skripal affair.
2. The alleged poisoning of Mr. Navalny.
3. https://thegrayzone.com/2020/09/29/grayzones-aaron-mate-testifies-at-un-on-opcw-syria-cover-up/
All of which are predicated on the use of chemical weapons, and in co-ordination may be used to enhance the belief that the “evil doers” often resort to the use of chemical weapons.
Those with facility test hypotheses whilst others rely on belief rendering them spectators.
Some may be minded to add Mr. Litvenyenko to the list, given the 4th edition of his literary endeavours in conjunction with Mr. Felshtinsky, published in paperback and Kindle edition in 2019.
However when some are offered “an answer” they often conflate this with the answer” thereby obfuscating additional answers, since a stategist with a single reason is usually a fool.
The present advertising supporting these literary endeavours suggests that “This is the book Alexander Litvinyenko was killed for” thereby obfuscating any relations that Mr. Litvinyenko enjoyed in London, including Mr. Berezhovsky..
The bombings in September 1999 were not confined to Moscow, and hence assigning blame to Mr. Luzhkov who was Mayor of Moscow was rendered less a “plausible belief”, and in the estimation of some, this increased the “plausible belief” in the blame of the other candidate, a certain Mr. Putin, at least to an external audience.
This was a reasonable hope given that belief in What-ever-happened-to-Stepan-Bandera continued to deliver fruit, and framing is a useful tool in facilitating closed/leading questions and conditioned responses, as recognised by many including many “lawmakers”.
Enjoy your journey.

Now there is a surprise and it is only the 1st of October.
“That Navalny poisoning fantasy makes sense only if he was a CIA asset in need to be extracted “
“Only” is a tool of obfuscation, and the opponents can be inept, but within their logic they tend to be “rational”. Only foolish “stategists” have one purpose, one strategy, or one tactic.
Evaluation is a function of purpose,
purpose is a function of facility,
facility is a function of framing,
framing is a function of perception,
perception is partly a function of experience and cultural context, which not all share.
Many from a culture of exceptionalism tend to assign themselves significances that others from the same culture of exceptionalism do not.
The evaluation of some “elites” that the people are their food sources and human shields tends to extend into evaluation of “agents”, whilst others including “agents”, perceive themselves as “assets”.
An “agent” is often recruited by making use of their insecuties, and “retained” through encouraging their insecurities, and hence in most contexts the “agent” is always expendable.
The insecurities of “agents” to encourage include but are not limited to :
An “agents’” over estimation of her/his own significance – an important evaluation critera in recruitment.
An “agents’” “need” to feel important. – this maintains a useful tool after an “agents’” recruitment.
An “agents’” wish/need to get with the team – this is often viwed as a double-edge sword.
An “agents’” requirement to “disappear” her/his” previous misdeeds” – this is a very productive tool in manipulation.
An “agents’” urgent or even non-urgent need for finance, or narcotics etc – this tend to encourage instability and hence greater expendability of the “agent”.
The evaluation of the “agent” by the “agents handler” is always based on utility, even after “expendabilty” has been activated – a useful example can be investigated through the portal of :
Whatever happened to Stepan Bandera ?
Although there are various interesting portals.
Consider the possible purposes and the “agents”/horses in the field which includes, but is not limited to, some in Ukraine, Mr. Skripal and his daughter, Mr. Gaiudo, some in China, some in Belarus, and Mr. Navalny.
To varying degrees these horses have failed to reach their potential but are their efforts to date to facilitate a reasonable achievement of purpose sufficient to satisfy initiators?
Some would suggest for many reasons that the answer is no.
In respect of Mr. Navalny his latest outbursts including an “attempt” to sue a spokesman of The Russian Federation may further increase conformation of his naivete in the perception of any handler or even associate sufficient to consider whether Mr. Navalny could have utility in achieving the handler’s and/or associates purpose by different means, that could form a “plausible belief” that the strategy chosen and implemented was by the agency of an opponent (preferably) a state, although as a last resort a “non-state actor” may be deemed to be acceptable.
Mr. Navalny may have been advised to take a public legal route as extending his utility in the hope that any counter-party will over-react to such “challenge” or more likely that pitting Mr. Navalny against opponents of experience may afford opportunities of rendering Mr. Navalny a martyr – the Mr. Bowder gambit – the “crucifiction” of Mr. Magnitsky.
In some environments “only” rarely exists.
“The evaluation of the “agent” by the “agents handler” is always based on utility, even after “expendabilty” has been activated “
Although not all agree, killing is always counter-productive: the evaluation of those who estimate “utility” being predicated on how and to what degree such counter-productivity can be minimised to a degree to render it acceptable.
Those who estimated the utility of the expendability of Mr. Guevara in Bolivia in 1967 were of a more practiced and perceptive experience including in Vietnam and Brazil in 1964, but more relevently in Indonesia in 1965.
As Mr. McGovern and others have assessed, from circa 1976 onwards those who estimated utility in various matters were/are of a lesser practiced and perceptive experience, and hence due to these lacunae these “diviners” tended to be guided more by precedents rather than resort to zero based methods, since on a short-term evaluation horizon these precedents appeared to be “successful”, particularly when doubt was bridged by belief to attain “certainty”.
The myth of facilitating the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 was one of their productions despite the jumping-up-and-down and me-me-meness of Mr. Brzezinsky and Mr. Wilson, although the Politburo needed little encouragement to become so engaged, since they largely relied on their own “hubris”, like Mr. Stalin between July and early October 1941, in undertaking their attempts at “international duty/solidarity” commenced by decapitation, which became a component in facilitating the ongoing transcendence of the Soviet Union by the Russian Federation, since some preparing main dishes tend to forget what is for afters – a growing trend since 1976.
As to the tools used after the demise of Mr. Guevara, they included but were not restricted to, encouraging the emulation and ascension of Mr. Guevara to semi-sainthood, and the use of comic books, since before tele-novellas this was the major media source consumed by their target audience.
As a leader of guerilla campaigns Mr. Guevara was particularly inept, and hence the practices encouraged were the worst practices wrapped in caballero de la rosaness – an component of which was dulce-et-decorum-est-pro-patria-moreness.
The comic book publishers so engaged included but were not restricted to , Dell comics and Disney
including their Spanish resources.
Some analysed the post-mortem uses made of Mr. Guevara, and as part of the buttressing of the Popular Unity government on Mr. Allende, in 1971 Mr. Ariel Dorfman of Argentina and Mr. Armand Mattel of Belgium wrote an analysis of the use of comic books published in Chile in 1972, and externally in English in 1974, although without pages 80 to 81 of the Chilean Spanish edition, entitled “How to read Donald Duck.”
This analysis was not widely acted upon and hence the endeavours of Dell comics and Disney aided in undermining the government and facilitating the coup in Chile in 1973, and the subsequent Condor campaigns, primarily but not exclusively in Latin America.
The situation in Africa was different particularly in Angola and Mozambique, hence the “media” tended to play a lesser role in these “liberation struggeles” despite the efforts of the CIA and others.
Although some are of the view that the “media” is more powerful/professional in 2020 than they were in 1970, in many regards this notion is predicated on the conflation of more with better which has less purchase internationally in 2020 than it did in 1970.
Consequently it will be of some intertest analysing and using how the opponents seek to facilitate their purposes in Belarus, China, the Russian Federation, the Ukraine, “The United Kingdom”, “The United States of America” and elsewhere, since in a longer-term evaluation horizon their efforts in regard to Mr. Assange will likely prove very counter-productive – but then everyone is an expert, it says so on their resume.
“Consequently it will be of some intertest analysing and using how the opponents seek to facilitate their purposes..”

“1867 was also the year of Canada ceased to be a colony of the British Empire …”. Are you sure about this ? Who is the President of Canada ? The English Queen perhaps ? Why is the Queens photograph in every Canadian courtroom ? Does the Queen have a Governor general in Canada, like it has in Australia ?
Both Canada, the US and Australia have been and have remained British colonies, being given autonomy, but not independence. The US is controlled through the Rothschild’s owned Federal Reserve, a private central bank, and through the HQ of the freemasons in Washington DC. The Commander in Chief of all freemasons is Prince Philip, husband to the Queen of England. Canada and Australia are controlled through governor generals and, of course, through freemasonry. When I lived in Canada, you could actually see signs of freemason lodges openly displayed on building walls. What is remarkable in all of this is that a minority is capable of controlling the majority, something Soros practices on a permanent basis.
“1867 was also the year of Canada ceased to be a colony of the British Empire”
It was hence-forth deemed to be a Dominion to ensure that heads were not turned by “The United States of America” and gains of 1776 and subsequent not sqwandered, a belief now burnished by hope of Mr. Trump and his associates with Alberta as proposed start point, by the project proposed in this thread that Mr. Ehret seeks to extend in imagination to Asia through a skewed Mercator’s projection where the red arrow A2A overshoots Japan and misrepresents the extent of the Pacific Ocean from Alaska to China , given that a portal is a vector not a destination.
The same Dominion status was rendered as a benificence to Australia when contexts required doing so.
As can be seen through the process of “Independence” of colonies of the British Empire with varying resorts to killing and torture to soften the colony up before “independence” including the “Independence” of Kenya, the colonies to receive the benificence of “The Crown” were required to accept certain conditions not restricted to the ones you outline – you missed the intelligence relationship requirement and tended to focus on the spectacle aspects – to ensure that “Independence” or “Dominion status” was/is not conflated with “autonomy” although Mr. Whitlam forgot, with “unfortunate consequences”.
The choice of “ceased to be a colony of the British Empire” was a de jure/not de facto reminder to Mr. Ehret ( A citizen of Canada if memory serves) to try to be rigourous instead of being ridiculous, like some of his assertions in Strategic-Culture.org., although reference could have been made instead to Mr. Diamond’s composition sung by the Monkees – I’m a believer – however it was decided to retain the original text which facilitated the added bonus of securing a response from you since strategists normally do not have one purpose.
The observation re Rhodes scolarship appears to be a concern for Mr. Ehret and hence the reference to the collected works of Ms. Lesley Gore including but not restricted to Its my party, or You don’t own me.
“The US is controlled through the Rothschild’s owned Federal Reserve, a private central bank,”
It is always unwise to conflate ownership with control, and to perceive the notion of agency/control without encumberance, although both practices are encouraged by the opponents and hence are both understandable and of utility.
Enjoy your journey.

Can I take a train from Seattle or Vancouver to Alaska?
Sadly, there is no rail connection through Canada to Alaska, but there are plenty of amazing ways to get here. There are four main ways to reach Alaska. By flying, by cruise ship, using the state ferry system or by driving the Alaska Highway through Canada.
If your heart is set on train travel, don’t fret. The Alaska Railroad has amazing trips connecting Anchorage to Seward, Whittier, Talkeetna, Denali National Park and Fairbanks. You can learn more about railroad tours throughout Alaska.
The Alaska Marine Highway System is a state-operated ferry system. Many ships and routes make up the system. Summer service between Bellingham, Washington and Whittier, Alaska is the most direct route into Anchorage, and is usually served by the m/v Kennicott between April and the end of September.
There is another way to travel from the U.S. through Canada and into Alaska: the Alaska Highway. The route traverses British Columbia and Yukon Territory before entering Alaska near. Keep in mind, you’ll need your passport if you chose to drive, both to enter Canada and to re-enter the U.S. at the Alaska border.

“Sadly, there is no rail connection through Canada to Alaska,”
There are reasons for that, hence my reference to magic wands.
Some of the reasons will be exacerbated by climate oscillation from Alberta to Alaska.
I totally agree, Anonymous, having travelled the Alaska Highway back in 1971 when it was about 1100 miles of so-called “gravel” road. The windshield on our little Opel Kadett was broken 7 times by rocks thrown up by huge semis barreling along at 70 mph. I’ve never once thought there should have been a railroad instead.
You have to ask yourself, why would Trump bring this up now? Is there reason behind his madness? I’m with Socrates on this one, “I know that I know nothing.”
Or…another possibility: as the technocrats divide up the globe into spheres of resource use reduction for purposes of outer space developments, this long-overdue railroad will be just one part of the extensive mining of the Canada/Alaska Arctic. Then, maybe China and maybe Russian links will be subsidiary to the USA heartland
rail destinations.
One can hope that there emerges in the USA/Canada sphere some humanistic leadership. soon. and quickly in our time.
Extend it across the Bering Sea to Russia.
“Extend it across the Bering Sea to Russia.”
Apart from the notion of agency, that would facilitate the “Americas” not being an island.
What rescorces are we that short of that would necessitate the spending of money much needed for other venues.
China creates its own money supply debt free, that puts its population to work building infrastructure. The US has to borrow all its money from private banks, and that is why the US infrastructure is crumbling, and the US Treasury is $26 trillion in debt to financial capitalists.
“needed”
It is part of the function of “representative democracy” to encourage the illusion that you can perceive needs, that you can facilitate the satisfaction of needs, and that the facilitation of needs can be achieved by sharing your needs with others – a process of subconcious supplication.
As Mr. Carlin observed “Its a club, and you aint in it” but you believe your are – voting allowing numerical assessments of numbers so immersed in that particular illusion, to those immersed in linear frames such as reliance on numerics, who in turn tend to believe that they are “in control” since they defined the club rules.
Alaskan natives, Canadians beware! This is massive debt trap. Neo-colonialism.
The willingness to work together has always been one-sided. Russia has been repeatedly willing while the U.S. and Britain only have demands. At the end of the second world war Churchill almost had the U.S. convinced to go directly to the destruction of Russia which at the last moment was refused by the U.S. because it would not be a cake walk and could get messy. To this day, Russia makes proposals and more often than not the U.S. ignores them entirely. In the latest talks, if you can refer to them as talks over arms treaties, the final treaty still standing which the U.S. has not destroyed but will, the U.S. followed their usual method. No diplomacy. No give and take. No cooperation. All demands! No, the U.S. will not pull away from the Russian border. Russia will accept what the U.S. proposes or else the U.S. is happy to continue to develop its nuclear arsenal.
The western citizens are so easily led by the nose to accept without question the constant hum of the propaganda they are fed. No wonder they are not horrified by war and what their so-called leaders have been doing all over this planet. The planners likely think most of the destruction will take place ‘over there’. It is likely that people cannot really awaken, most of them until their own cities are smoldering ruins. Personal suffering and loss has a way of changing a persons mind.
So this rail line doesn’t portend U.S. cooperation with others. They see all these developing trade agreements, including Russian arctic development as points of conflict they intend to involved themselve in.
Ah, the real MAGA, now that makes sense, Make Alberta Great Again…………..I’d imagine the rail line is to ship cheap US gas/oil extracted and refined in Alberta, to Alaska, then pump it to Russia. Hey if Trump can make China sell it’s companies to US interests, how hard to force Russian companies to stop using their oil and buy Cana……………..opps, US oil? We’ll call it Berrents Straits 1.0
I think the rail line is just a first step. The next will be a pipeline from Alaska to the lower states, how can Canada object?
“We’ll call it Berrents Straits 1.0”
Thank you for illustrating the “strategic methods” of some.
First the branding , and then the “how to”.
Enjoy your dreams.
There isn’t even the slightest chance that any government will return to the populace it supposedly serves. Evil men and seducers are getting worse and worse at an accelerated pace. What with the insane systems of the world that are now like chains and shackles upon the good, but gravy to the evil. It wasn’t that long ago, that good people from Europe came to Turtle Island with the intention, I imagine, to not repeat mistakes made in The Old World where all the land was already lorded over. But along come the False Christian with bible verse in hand, planning and plotting how to turn the mostly uninhabited land to the hands of those same lords. It was inevitable ,I can see now. The ‘beast’ that was Rome, became Catholic Rome, which came to be exposed as fraud and should have died, but rose again in an incredibly Fraudulent system of World Catholicism.
Fraud and lies are the Rule of the day in Law, Government, Banking, Business, and Religion. I am looking forward to the day ,when the Catholic Whores and the Protestant Harlots return to their habit of killing all who don’t conform ,instead of false accusing Us and forcing us to obey and convert or be damned to constant harassment via the police while commuting . Damned I may be, in their eyes, but GOD will not be forever mocked by them.
What is really droll is that those who did convert, will heap to themselves, eternal destruction. All souls are His, and He doesn’t need our help to fulfill His Will. He already made provision for the Faithful that not even Satan can undo. Lay down your Life and You will take it up Again. Stand Against ALL LIARS!
