An investigation carried out by a Dutch blogger has found that the two photos circulated on social networks shortly after the MH17 crash, which purport to show a trail of smoke in the sky from a missile launcher, are fakes.
Dutch blogger Max van der Werff has claimed that the photos purporting to show a smoke trail from a BUK missile launcher shortly after the MH17 plane was shot down over eastern Ukraine in July last year, are fraudulent, after carrying out an investigation in Donbass, where the photos were allegedly taken.

He is questioning their moral right to claim their present borders.
In the aftermath of Brest-Litovsk and prior to the German occupation, many state entities sprang up including the Ukrainian National Republic designated by Kerensky and lead by the Kiev Rada (ancestor of modern central Ukraine government consisting only of Volhynia, Podolia, Kiev, Chernigov, Poltava), the Western Ukrainian National Republic (Galicia + Transcarpathia + Chernivitsi), the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic designated by Lenin as a sub unit of Russia (Donbass + Kharkov + Dnipropetrovsk + Zaporozhyia + Kherson + Sumy), the Odessa Soviet Republic (Odessa, Nikolaev, Transnistria). Crimea remained under the control of the White Russian forces. The Donetsk-Krivoy Rog and Odessa Soviets merged to form the Ukrainian Soviet Republic with a capital in Kharkov and covering the land noted by President Putin as Novorossiya last year and still considered by the Bolsheviks as a constiuent of the Russian Soviet Federation. The Ukrainian Soviet Republic was invaded and the Ukrainian National Republic extended its territorial claims in a wild fashion to include it as well as Kuban, Voronezh, and Kursk.
The legal claim of the Ukrainian National Republic, of which modern Ukraine claims it is the heir, to the territories between Sumy and Odessa and anywhere east rests first on brief military conquest undertaken by the Germans – not on the consent of the people, and not from the Ukrainian Soviet Republic extending on the territory west to the Bug during the Russo-Polish war to counter the Polish invasion of Russia. Their second claim, to be the continuing government of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic is contradicted by their not being part of the Russian Federation since the Ukrainian Soviet was formed by Lenin as part of Russia, and by their rejection of the Soviet heritage.
As Donbass has claimed the mantle of the Donetsk Kriovy Rog Soviet, they are rejecting Kiev’s moral right to claim territory east and south of Poltava.
It is interesting that the dividing line in modern Ukrainian politics between the west and Novorossiya was already definitively present in 1917 as a national border between the Russian Federation and the Ukrainian National Republic during the time of Kerensky and Lenin. It was the German High Command that moved this border to near Taganrog (the Ukrainian Nationalists in Kiev would have had it almost at the Volga, per the whild claims today of the likes of Lyashko and Yarosh), and the resulting Soviet entity was created under the pressure of the Polish invasion of Russia which effectively liquidated the Ukrainian National Republic by claiming it as part of Poland and then losing most of it in war.
Deutschlandfunk and Handelsblatt report that the Ukraine is now facing bankruptcy. Of course we all know this, but the significance is the unambiguous admission by mainstream media. Business-minded Handelsblatt also talked about Kiev saber rattling against Moscow, with possible consequence for European tax payers (“Kiew. Es ist ein Säbelrasseln gen Russland, aber auch eines mit möglichen Folgen für die europäischen Steuerzahler …”). The end is nigh!
The most important part of the takeover of Russia/Europe is to utterly destroy all International Human Rights Law.
