True-Colour-Merkel must be proud over such an outburst of “European values”.
It is understandable that she show the lack of remorse by snubbing Victory day parade, any fascist would.

Germany doesnt abandon its friends. It didnt with the Croatia/Ustachans and they dont with the ukie Banderites.

      mikhas:

At least since the time of Napoleon, the Prussian/German state has operated with a very long-viewed timeframe, thinking in decades where others think in months.

They didn’t get to keep the loot of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. They lost WWII, and yet today, Poland and the Baltics and Slovakia are German economic colonies, the Czech Republic is still embraced tightly by Germany. The Ukraine project launched in 1918 failed. It failed again in 1941. But today there is a crazy pro-German Ukraine that is desperate to be a German economic colony.

Croatia and Slovenia are another example of far-thinking type of politics. Germany has not forogtten that Germans ruled these lands less than 100 years ago, nor has she forgotten the people who fought for her in World War II. When they were in need, she came to their rescue.

Orther states might think about taking notes from the long term economic and geopolitical success Germany has managed to achieve despite catastrophic military losses.

      • joaopft on March 18, 2015  ·  at 11:17 pm EST/EDT

German success is like the “long term success [Carthage] always managed to get despite catastrophic military losses”. Cartage went from victory to victory, until the bold Hannibal Barca led the mighty city to its tragic doom.

The error, of both Carthage and the Western Civilization, is the model of enterprising exploitation by the “indispensable” people, that these civilizations are keen to embrace. The great quality of their leaders and their soldiers was never enough to save them from their ultimate fate. I recall that Carthage failed when it met an enemy that was quick, not only to annex territory, but to integrate it by offering citizenship to all the conquered races that aspired to be Roman.

Now, the whole of the West — unable to escape from its ultra-liberal ideology — is locked into following the failed Carthaginian model. All the while, Russia can try its best to be the heir of Roman geopolitical practice. Its a tall order but, without the straitjacket of liberalism, Russia will be free to pursue it.

” I recall that Carthage failed when it met an enemy that was quick, not only to annex territory, but to integrate it by offering citizenship to all the conquered races that aspired to be Roman.”

Your Roman history is in error. Rome wasn’t quick to give away citizenship until the empire when the citizenship had maximum burdens and minimal benefits. The Roman Republic, on the other had, was so reluctant to give out citizenship that the Latin allies would revolt against Rome in the Social Wars.

These ‘Ukrainian Patriots’ are the sickest of the sick. They project what they themselves are. They condemn themselves out of their own mouths.

I hope FSB is doing proper job, i.e. nowadays makes lists and records all needed,
soon there will be time to arrest and hang according the list.
To be human just give enough time and let the “patriotic” ukroidiots to change their FB status for “executed” and then just post a new profile foto with blue face…

The triumph of mind control through education, media and economic instability. Fear has robbed Ukraine of its soul. Hatred is all that is left in their hearts.

35 million zombies of nazism. Soon, they will be the wards of the UN, living in tents, waiting for soup and bread.

Glory to Ukraine and Glory to Western Liberalism!

What can you say to this. How much more proof do people in Novorossia and Russia need of the necessity to form a Republic of Novorossia. The pre-maidan Ukraine is dead.Whether the former Ukraine can be reformed by joining independent states in a Federal Union.Or if there must be total separation has yet to be seen. But there are now two (at least) peoples and states in what was once “Ukraine”.The Banderastan state must be liberated to destroy fascism on that soil. And when liberation comes those like the people making comments shown (including those themselves) will need to answer for their fascist allegiance.I suspect, and hope, there are people keeping records of them. The liberating authorities will need those records for the denazification trials after liberation.

      @ Uncle Bob,

I refer to it as the ‘Boss Syndrome’. The West has accustomed itself as the ‘ruler of the waves’ and thus colonized most of the planet and ‘bossed it around for centuries.

In the grandiosity of all this, it has failed to notice a rapture, and one that has grown exponentially large over the past decade, between its own projected [nonexistent] superiority [a simple look at the Iraq/Afghan adventures suffices] and the real world as it materialized around us.

The proverbial writing is clearly on the wall, but with the pentagon and Apartheid State planners still occupying Plato’s cave, we’re in for a very, very bumpy ride.

  7. teranam13 on March 18, 2015  ·  at 4:25 pm EST/EDT

SouthFront new bulletin: Yes, every expression of racism against Russian people should be confronted and protested as “hate speech”. The demonisation of Putin by leaders of the Western nations sets the example for their press and lower bottom feeders like talk radio hosts etc. I expect it will get worse, much worse. One, can however, find all sorts of repugnant characters on the internet voicing their foul opinions at any time on just about anything. I suggest rather than projecting victimization/victimizer it is more effective to demand apology and justice. Using the “N” words, while it is not illegal in the US , will quickly get one who uses it socially ostracized and perhaps discharged from his employment. What has happened that soldier, by the way?

“From 100 to 200 volunteers arrive daily. New training units are being formed, the detachments are working out operational coordination in composition of units and battalions”, — Zakharchenko said.
According to him, “the DPR is ready to any actions of Kiev’s part”. “We distrust Kiev and its military machine greatly, that is why our main task is to train”, — he said.
According to Zakharchenko more than 4 thousand people are ready to become the troopers of the detachments of territorial defense in case of resumption of the hostilities. These forces will constitute the second line of defense of the DPR
Additional regular firing battalions will also be formed in the Republic. “As the practice of the last campaign has shown, the war is won by infantry and not armoured vehicles”, — Zakharchenko explained.

Forget the internet trolls., They exist for any subject. Look at any news article about a black boy being shot by police in the USA and see how many say they all deserve to be exterminated. It’s only a small number out of millions, and even half of them would not say this to anyone’ face, only when they’re anonymous.

A far bigger problem is the many who genuinely do not know what is going on, because of the censorship and propaganda, and not enough interest to find opposing voices on the internet. Many of these could be saved with the real version, once peace comes.

Many are also suffering from the same behavior of these squads, both the regular army and the death squads, so would be happy to be rid of them, if the chance arises. But now they’re too terrified to say anything.

Let us take the cue from how NAF treats prisoners — nicely tell them some truths, without punishing them for what they seem to believe now, no abusing them just because they are ignorant.

    • Karin on March 18, 2015  ·  at 6:55 pm EST/EDT

I agree that the uninformed people are a big problem. Many of them are not bad people, but they are still contributing to war and suffering by being disinformed. Here is an example of one persons comments in a discussion about Konstantinovka. He/she shows sympathy, but the lack of true information makes the whole thing so tragic. He/she writes

      R.I.P
Hope the soldiers get arrested. This makes me so sad, especially the reaction of the crowd after this. No reaction to DNR/LNR killing people but when it happens to the army, they start rioting. I don’t get that.
I’m not gonna whitewash this event. I just find it confusing why the people get upset over this, but when the terror attack in Kharkiv happened, no one cared.
My mom is from Donbass. I have tons of friends there. I know people from the conflict zone. Do not try to force this “Ukrainian Army genociding Eastern Ukraine”. It’s not true.
If it weren’t for the Russians and their propaganda we would have long figured any problems with the east out. Without weapons.
This is making me angry. Your country is invading my home by propaganda, soldiers, mercenaries and supplying the separatists with money/weapons ; turning my relatives into refugees, making the life’s of them really hard. And you’re still being so cynic that you deny the Russian involvement. Can’t you just leave us alone?

      • Uncle Bob 1 on March 18, 2015  ·  at 8:15 pm EST/EDT

And they seem to not have thought why the junta didn’t talk to the protesters in March. But instead sent tanks, artillery,Right Sector, and soldiers to crush protests. There isn’t even any point discussing facts with people as Russophobic and clueless as that one is.Maybe not one of the most vile. But certainly not very smart either.

      • Anonymous on March 18, 2015  ·  at 8:55 pm EST/EDT

Sounds like a Hasbaranik to me. Just doesn’t ring true.

      • Blue on March 18, 2015  ·  at 10:52 pm EST/EDT

That sounds like paid propaganda to me — try to create context of being compassionate and reasonable while scattering poisonous lies. I don’t think it’s ignorance, and I see no reason to believe any of what was said regarding connections to Donbas.
It could be a legitimate post, but with the new campaign to organize and fund an army of propagandists on the internet, why should that be assumed?

        • Karin on March 19, 2015  ·  at 6:39 am EST/EDT

Yes, I agree, it could be a troll. I have read soo many posts (and even more articles and op-eds in big newspapers.) that are so obviously scripted in that subversive way. This comment was not written in one piece, though, it was four short replies in a discussion, where all the other posters were pro-Russian. So actually, I think in this case, he/she was really that “dumb and innocent”.

Which is my point — in the long run it is these people, a big percentage of the world population, that will be the big, big obstacle for every kind of peace and unification processes. To simply call them “paid trolls” is to sweep a big issue under the carpet. Sooner or later we will have to stop being conveniently black/white in our thinking, and find a way to deal with it.

          • blue on March 19, 2015  ·  at 3:12 pm EST/EDT

Well, we got the paid trolls, and we got those who have just succumbed to the BS that is put out, and we got those who just mouth whatever the current propaganda is without even thinking about it, like parrots mindlessly repeating phrases. And then we have those whose minds have been warped or are deranged and would say this stuff even without hearing it elsewhere. Between them all there are way too many — maybe a majority when all the topics are taken into account, and with cognitive dissonance as a way of life for them (what education was supposed to fix by developing critical thinking, but didn’t).

It can be difficult to tell the difference, and it’s not clear just what the difference is, even. Strange scripts and programming can kick in when least expected, so someone who seemed sort of civilized suddenly blurts out that all ‘people who something’ should be killed or locked away. These are ‘closet nazis’ (with closeted minds)who can easily be converted to support atrocities and turned into mobs with very little effort. Their education is maybe a millimeter deep — just enough to pass the tests and get a job as a drone, and not that bright to start with. So witches are made of wood and they float (and burn well). cf Monty Python.

It’s very hard to educate these people, and they revert to form, especially when they become fearful or insecure, or given an easy path to express all the frustration and pain they have experienced.

    • skilts on March 19, 2015  ·  at 9:02 am EST/EDT

Lets call it for what it is. It is fascism and the fascist mentality. The little girl in their minds’ is sub-human. Fascism enables the most horrific crimes against humanity because it dehumanizes those it wishes to dominate, exploit and control. Tragically the history of the anti-fascist struggle shows us that fascism cannot be defeated by reasoned debate and rational discourse. It can only be defeated physically in struggle. We owe the brave people of the Donbass and Luhansk as great debt for their sacrifice. And we owe them all the support we can muster.
As for Polina and her mother we owe them our prayers and our faith that Polina as all children who have been murdered by the fascists is in heaven and that the killers whatever this world’s justice will do will burn in hell.

        @ Ann,

I don’t know about Europeans but most Americans can not stand to deviate from their already set mind. It’s in the American culture that they are ” exceptionally” correct at all times.

To give you a good example, most cannot understand that Hispanics come in different races, white, black, Native Americans ( as in the natives of South America, Cuba, etc), that there are Peruvian Chinese as well as other Asian Hispanics. To most Americans all Hispanics are “Mexican”.
If you try teaching them their brains goes awry and often can become arrogantly angry or mocking.
You cannot educate Americans beyond their comfortable sterotypes.

You’d be surprised to learn how many Americans do not know Spaniards ARE Europeans.

  17. blue on March 19, 2015  ·  at 5:13 am EST/EDT

I think this is not such a bad idea. It’s gotten entirely out of hand and well over the line of what can be called civilized. At least limits must be place on the Nazis and fascists, and consequences for these crimes must be levied and felt by them or it will just get worse and worse. Something must be done!

DPR is contemplating offensive on Konstantinovka to defend the citizens from mass repressions

    March 18, 2015
    Kharkov Antimaidan Facebook Page
    Translated by Krisitna Rus

Donetsk raised the issue of a possible offensive on Konstantinovka, if the Ukrainian security forces will begin reprisals against civilians. Residents of Konstantinovka – are the citizens of DPR, according to the Constitution of the Republic. Located on the temporarily occupied territory. Crime against civilians is a crime against the Republic. That is, a direct violation of the ceasefire. The Republic has the right to protect its citizens, wherever they are (anywhere in the world). Like all developed countries. In Konstantinovka, reportedly, terrible repressions have begun.

KR: Konstantinovka is only 50 kilometers from Donetsk…

“Ukrainian invaders managed to violently take control of all objects in Konstantinovka. From the ground reports indicate that “pravoseki” (Right Sector) broke in at night on armored vehicles and violently dispersed the crowd. There is no data about deaths and injuries at the moment. Now they are sweeping the town. Ukrainian punishers go from house to house, beating residents and randomly snatching citizens, taking them to an unknown destination. No help came. Konstantinovka plunged into the atmosphere of fear and hatred.”

Konstantinovka activist/reporter abducted for taking photos of the deadly accident with the Ukrainian military

      March 19, 2015
      Donbass Center
      Translated by Kristina Rus

The journalist, who took the pictures of the accident scene after an armored vehicle ran over a woman with children, was abducted by the unknown men in uniform. This was reported by the Ukrainian media.

According to them, on the morning of March 18, 2015, in Konstantinovka, on the way to work, unknown persons in military uniforms abducted the secretary of the Konstantinovka City Committee of the Communist party, the editor of the city website of Konstantinovka (konstantinovka.dn.ua) and a group Vkontakte “Konstantinovka – My Home,” Denis Chubaka.

Chubaka is the author of the photos of the accident on March 16 of the Ukrainian military vehicle running over a woman with children, which killed an 8-year-old girl. The picture was used by numerous news agencies and websites.

Relatives and friends of the journalist can’t get any clear answers either from the police or other security agencies of the city.

It’s quite possible that those “ukrainian” “patriots” are neither . There seems to be awfully disproportionate ( to their representation in society in general) numbers of jews posing as ukrainians waging infowar against Russia on the internet. I’ve personally have visited a number of anti-russian/pro-ukrainian websites ( following links provided by supposed ukarinians on various forums etc.) just to find out that, first these websites have unusual for ethnic ukrainians pro-Israel content , and, second quickly delete my comments debunking with facts their deceptive articles. Not surprisingly their comments sections are empty of comments. Apparently either nobody reads them or comments debunking their asinine nonsensical articles are quickly erased.
These purported “ukrainian” websites seems to have no obvious source of income and are likely financed by the you know who.
