In June 2016, Brexit was accepted by 51.9% against 48.1%. This was a political sensation and a huge blow against the arrogance and the omnipotence of money. Although the result was relatively clear (by Swiss standards), the losing side made every effort in order to undo it. In the general elections of December 12, the Brexit vote was however clearly confirmed. Under the slogan „get Brexit done“, the Conservative Party of Boris Johnson got a big victory. There is now a general agreement that Brexit will really happen. This is a capital change. Moreover, during these three and half years, the political landscape in the UK has been shaken. I shall try to describe some important items with respect to this period.
People should not be underestimated
The history of Brexit shows that the manipulation of the people has its limits. When the former prime minister David Cameron proposed the vote on Brexit, it was obviously a tactical maneuver; he was against Brexit and wanted to weaken his opponents (within his party). However, the people did not follow him and he was obliged to resign. His successor, Theresa May, also tried a tactical maneuver; she organized (unnecessary) snap elections in 2017 in order to reinforce her parliamentary majority. Again, the people did not like this maneuver and Theresa May lost her majority. On the other hand, when Boris Johnson proposed snap elections for December 2019, this was not considered as a tactical maneuver. It was understood as a consequent step, as the only possibility in order to deliver Brexit.
I agree that this kind of popular votes should not be overestimated; however, the experiences of the many popular votes in Switzerland also show that, yes, there is manipulation, but, no, people are not as stupid as some persons think. In this context, I would like to comment on a recent article of Moon of Alabama. He writes that the Republicans in the USA could use a prolongated debate – instead of a quick vote – on the impeachment (of Trump) in the Senate, in order to weaken the Democrats. However, this would be an obvious tactical maneuver and, from my point of view, it is not at all clear that this would benefit the Republicans. The same argument applies to the whole procedure of impeachment. Apparently, many in the USA regard this as a tactical maneuver (considering the fact that the Democrats have never accepted the election of Trump) and they do not appreciate it.
The traditional left wing in Western Europe is declining
Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the Labour Party in UK, is an unusual political personality. He is quite critical with respect to Israel and even to NATO. In the snap election in 2017, he was able to mobilize many young people for his party. Moreover, he is quite autonomous; for example, he went with his bicycle to the parliament. He was very much attacked by the Israel lobby of being „anti-semite“. All this has led quite some people to support him in the general election of December 2019.
However, as positive as he might be as a person, he remains the leader of a political party. It is a fact that his position is not supported by the majority of the party establishment. Namely, as a rule, the traditional left wing political parties in Western Europe tend to be even more enthusiastic about Western hegemony than traditional right wing political parties. Moreover, knowing that the party establishment is against Brexit, Corbyn did not really accept the people’s vote for Brexit in 2016. So, from my point of view, the victory of Johnson over Corbyn in these elections is clearly positive. The traditional left wing in Western Europe will continue declining since it is not at all prepared to break with Western hegemony.
The left-right schema is out-dated in Western Europe
The two main political parties in UK, namely the Conservatives and the Labour, correspond to the traditional left-right schema. However, none of them was prepared to the vote for Brexit in 2016. This vote clearly surpassed the left-right schema. As a consequence, both parties were profoundly divided after this vote. While Labour could not manage this division, Boris Johnson succeeded by consequently isolating the anti-Brexit forces in his party. On the other hand, Theresa May was not able (and probably not willing) to do so and this was the main reason for her failure.
The underlying problem is quite similar in all countries of Western Europe. The part of the population which more or less directly benefits from Western hegemony becomes significantly smaller. This strengthen nationalist tendencies. The consequences differ from country to country. In the UK, the Conservatives are now more nationalist as a whole party. This is similar as in the USA with the Republicans. In Germany and in France, the situation is quite different; the traditional parties try to discriminate the nationalist trends, calling them extremist, populist, and so on. On the left, a similar development is much less visible. At this stage, one cannot really say whether – and in what manner – this will happen.
The European Union (EU) and NATO are not dead
After the Brexit vote in 2016, the fear among the European establishment was considerable that other countries would try to follow the UK. This was however not the case. Nevertheless, the EU will be degraded without the UK. The aim of becoming a power which can compete with China and with USA, will be even more wishful thinking than it already was.
Much less discussed was the NATO. One should keep in mind that the EU is very much relied on NATO. Between 2004 and 2013, the EU was joined by 12 new countries, situated in central, east, or south-east Europe. All of them, with the exception of Cyprus, became at the same time – or even previously – a member of NATO. Of course, UK will remain in NATO, even if she is not longer member of EU. There are some other European countries which are member of NATO, but not of EU, namely Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, and Norway (recall that Switzerland is neither member of NATO, nor of EU); Turkey is in the same situation, but she is not considered as a European country.
There is the widespread idea that UK will be forced to be more subservient with respect to USA after the withdrawal from EU. Of course, this is a possibility, but, in my eyes, it is not at all an automatism. The balance of power in the world of today is quite unstable. This gives some countries the possibility of navigating between different forces. Turkey is a good example, also Vietnam may be mentioned. Since Brexit will strengthen the nationalist forces in the UK, this would provide a good basis for further independence.
Who is Boris Johnson?
Not only by his political role, also by his personality, Johnson has important similarities with Trump. Both are quite mysterious and difficult to judge. Both see politics as a theater stage. Both have showed that they are ready – to a certain extent – to oppose the establishment and to act in a nontraditional manner; I have described them as bulldogs. Both have been largely underestimated by the Western media.
When Johnson became prime minister in July 24 (2019), the media in Western Europe were convinced that he would not be able to change things fundamentally, compared to his predecessor Theresa May. But already after some weeks, it became evident that the media were wrong. Now, after his enormous success, European politicians are quite impressed by Johnson. This was never the case with Trump.
I have no clear idea what will be the politics of Johnson with respect to China, Russia, and Iran. One has to observe this carefully. Remember however that it was not Johnson who directed the piracy of the Iranian tanker on July 4, but his rival (concerning the leadership of the Conservative Party) Jeremy Hunt.
Conclusion
In 2016, I hoped, but did not expect that the people in the UK will have the courage to vote for Brexit. After the vote, there was a lot of empty talk, claiming that ordinary people are rather silly and cannot understand what are the consequences of Brexit. And that a second vote would give quite a different result. Now, after three and half years and a great deal of propaganda against Brexit, people have shown that their decision in 2016 was well-founded and not at all careless. Curiously enough, now, there is again the same empty talk, claiming that people have no idea of the consequences of the election results. Obviously, this kind of arrogance is ineradicable. As for me, I am happy with these election results, as I was happy with the vote for Brexit.
I agree. Labour’s failure to respect the brexit referendum result is the reason for its failure. I know and love the North East although I now live in London and was a LP member in both. Unfortunately I can’t do links but go to you tube and search
” Ian Lavery “It’s brexit” Guardian from Blyth. ”
He says “you can’t ignore democracy” unfortunately despite his warnings most of his fellow members of the shadow cabinet did.
Ian Lavery MP is an ex miner who only just retained his Wansbeck seat in post industrial Northumberland he is the National Chair of the Labour Party.
The obstruction of Brexit by Labor is the cause of election result.
Voters began to realize the REMAIN crowd would never accept the 2016 Ref result and realized that theor pollies couldnt be trusted.
People should “Not be Underestimated”
“Never underestimate the stupidity of the american people” – PT Barnum, circus owner USA 1920’s
“You tell me where you want a war, and I will convince the people to demand a war” – Randolph Hearst, owner of USA newspapers 1910’s
The CIA-MOSSAD created the EU post 1950’s it was all by design, this has been reported by UK press, as they have found the original documents.
UK & France only joined to give the EU legitimacy, the Mossad(Israel) owners of the colonys never intended to live upon the rules imposed by Brussels.
The exit will happen first UK, then France both are ANZ nations, just like Israel.
The BREXIT circus is no different than the Trump-Impeachment circus, the “Jail Hillary Circus”, or the LGBT mania, its all designed to entertain the masses.
ANZ plans stuff out 50-100 years in advance, they always have since the 1700’s.
…
Who is Trump, Trump is a real-estate con-artist Jewish-Mobster, his father, and his men Cohn, and his later mentor Epstein. Almost all Trump’s mentors have been Mossad. Trumps mother was jewish, and his father is buried in the largestr Jewish cemetary in NYC. This make Trump a Jew, but he was designed early on to be the ‘bag-man’ for NYC J-Mafia, so that ‘goy’ was handing the bag and acting as a front man for the J-Mafia.
Who is Boris?
In his own words? “I am a ZIONIST”
Boris Johnson has the ball’s unlike to Trump to come out and admit that he is a card carrying Israeli-Dual Citizen Jew, with a zionist agenda.
https://jewishnews.timesofisrael.com/boris-johnson-zionist/
So yes, both Boris & Donald are the same-same, but one is a fox, and the other is a wolf, they both intend to eat you, but “The Don” plays the clown so you drop your guard. But they are both designed men to entertain the ‘GOY’.
Britain would became (it is already) ‘Airstrip One’ of ‘Oceania’. Orwell was of course prescient.
“Never underestimate the stupidity of the american people”, ditto of the Britisher.
When the Brexiters won the referendum, their slogan was ‘Make Britain great again’, chanting ecstatically ‘Rule Britannia, rule the waves/Britons never, never, never shall be slaves/ The nations, not so blest as thee/Must in their turn, to tyrants fall/While thou shalt flourish.’ Right, the ‘nations’ (the gentiles, ethnics, goyim) shall fall to Putin. Isn’t the Don of the Kosher Nostra better? He is one of us. By Jingo! Round Table!
It reminds you of: “We’ve got the ships, we’ve got the men, we’ve got the money too/We’ve fought the Bear before, and while we’re Britons true/The Russians shall not have Constantinople”.
It is easy to make a claim about someone. It is another matter to prove it. For example, Donald Trump’s mother, Mary McCleod who was born on a Scottish island you say is Jewish? Where is the proof of that? The family including his parents and brother are buried in Lutheran all faiths cemetery. How does that prove Trump is Jewish?
if his mother was jewish then djt is jewish too, that is according to the teaching of the phariseeic rabbi`s.
go to the jewish library online for more info..
Maybe these few glances at the MSM would give you some food for thought:
“Mark Levin calls Trump ‘first Jewish president’, by Joe Concha – 12/12/19 10:32 AM EST” @https://thehill.com/homenews/media/474260-mark-levin-calls-trump-first-jewish-president:
“Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin called President Trump the nation’s “first Jewish President” during a Hanukkah party at the White House on Wednesday.
“It’s an honor to be here with the first Jewish President of the United States,” Levin said. “And if he isn’t, he should be.”
Trump smiled in response to the reference.
Trump is not Jewish, though his son-in-law Jared Kushner is Jewish. Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump converted to the Jewish faith after marrying Kushner…”
“Trump: The first Jewish President of the United States”, Mar 22, 2019, 8:17 AM @https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/trump-the-first-jewish-president-of-the-united-states/:
“Clearly, the executive branch has acted decisively with regard to Israel, supporting the Jewish State like no administration has done in the past. Congress has shown its support too. On February 5, 2019, the Senate approved a bill countering the Boycott, Divest, Sanctions (BDS) campaign leveled against Israel. In a 77-23 vote, the Republican-controlled Senate passed legislation that would allow state and local governments to bar contractors from advocating for sanctions and boycott of Israel. The bill, also authorized assistance and weapons transfers to Israel as well as a resolution opposing President Trump’s promise to withdraw troops from Syria and Afghanistan.
Notwithstanding, given the lack of precedence for the aforementioned policies towards Israel, President Trump is what many might call symbolically, the first Jewish President of the United States”.

“President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday that would effectively allow the government to interpret Judaism as both a race or nationality and a religion under federal law so that the Education Department can take direct action against what he views as anti-Semitism on college campuses.
Trump, joined by lawmakers and administration officials in addition to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, said the order “makes clear” that Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 would “apply to institutions that traffic in anti-Semitic hate.”
Of course there is more. Like this:

A few things about levin. He is the quintessential zionazi-gay likudite fanatic. About as fanatical as one can get. The guy worked in reagan regime under (probably literally) meese and helped that regime cover up Iran-contra. He still claims Iraq had wmds and that these were transfered to Syria during the 2003 hot war and are still now in Syria. The guy is 100% israeli and whatever extremist far right israeli propaganda is current, he promotes it. Often under the cover of false american patriotism.
If one wants to know the mentality that is essentially the trump regime, and trump, listen to a levin radio show or read a transcript from his website.
It’s a pity that the Tories are persecuting Assange. That and the fate of the NHS don’t rate a mention.
Please tell me if I am wrong. I believe that for the Tory Party this election had nothing to do with Brexit as that can wait and all do with the NHS. Right now they are about to sell off the NHS to America and winning this election was crucial to the timing of that. Brexit might or might not happen but using Brexit to take votes off Labour to guarantee victory in the election was what mattered. So for those of you who voted Tory just to get Brexit done when you normally vote Labour, in your ignorance have helped put the final nail in the NHS coffin. Yes the working class have been duped again by the Tories and not for the first time. And last of all I still do not believe Brexit will happen even thou I want it to. I’ve lived in America for over 20 years and know just what nightmare is coming to the UK with regards to health care. Enjoy you’ve earned it.
Corbyn was eviscerated because he had the temerity to support the Palestinians.
https://www.israelhayom.com/2019/12/09/lapid-corbyn-threat-is-real-i-cant-be-netural/
Blue and White co-leader MK Yair Lapid said Israel had to actively ensure that Labour Chairman Jeremy Corbyn will not enter 10 Downing St.
“Usually, you’re not supposed to interfere with the election in other countries, but in this case I’m going to make an exception. Jeremy Corbyn is an anti-Semite,” Lapid said on Monday.
Lapid made those comments in front of 25 pro-Israel parliamentarians from around the world during a question-and-answer session at the Israel Allies Foundation’s annual Chairman’s Conference.
“If you want to know something [about anti-Semitism] there are experts,” he added, “and the experts are called Jews. So I’m an expert on this one. And we can tell an anti-Semite when we see one. This is old-school, plain anti-Semitism, just using new excuses. And anyone in his right mind should take this into consideration while walking into the polling booth, because racists are racists are racists, and Jeremy Corbyn is a racist.”
@Corbyn was eviscerated because he had the temerity to support the Palestinians.
Doesn’t that say much (if not all) about this truth: “Never underestimate the stupidity of the British people”? That this could lead to the end of the “United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”, of “Great Britain” as well? It won’t be regretted.
Yes. That is one big underlying reason. Of course by antisemitism, they mean anti Zionist.
@TMA
It is the other way round:
“French Parliament Adopts anti-Semitism Definition That Includes anti-Zionism.
Despite protest by prominent Jewish and Israeli scholars, parliament passes resolution which states that some criticism of Israel could be anti-Semitic”:
“Anti-Zionist acts can sometimes obscure anti-Semitic realities. Criticizing the very existence of Israel as a collective composed of Jewish citizens is tantamount to hatred towards the Jewish community as a whole; just like collectively holding Jews accountable for the policies of the Israeli authorities is an expression of antisemitism,” the introduction continues.
Such abuses increasingly make anti-Zionism ‘one of the contemporary forms of antisemitism’ in the words of the President of the Republic,” it goes on to say, quoting Emmanuel Macron, speaking in front of France’s foremost Jewish body, the CRIF, a few days after a February attack on Jewish French philosopher Alain Finkelkraut on the sidelines of a yellow vest protest in Paris.
Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Gilad Erdan applauded the resolution’s passage. “Under cover of ‘political criticism’ of the State of Israel, anti-Semitic content is disseminated, poisoning discourse and denouncing Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state,” he said. “I commend the French Parliament on its important decision that will aid in the fight against anti-Semitism that is rising in France and in Europe as a whole.”

Wake up.
Of course, any terrorism committed by Jews is acceptable. They were terrorists to get Israel founded as Stephen Pollard and the Chief Rabbi well know. Menachem Begin, one-time leader of Israel, was a murdering terrorist whose cell planted the bomb in the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, an exact replica of the Brighton bomb. So any mentally subnormal cretin who does not compare the founders of Israel with the IRA is unfit to participate in political discourse….
I have accurately described historical events.
If Jews say that is antisemitic, I will deny the historical event termed the Holocaust. They will be unable to complain about that. Because they said that telling the truth was antisemitic….
It is either all truth warts n all, or no truth.
They must decide.
One of the problems Jeremy has he is too nice,i would sue the arse of any individual who branded me a racist for libel, its a grotesque smear campaign,Corbyn has fought against racism ALL his life including anti semitism, his parents were involved in the Battle of Cable street when Oswald Mosley tried with his Fascist Blackshirts to march through a London Jewish area, they have weaponized anti semitism, they are the scum of the Earth,if they ever have to fight real anti semitism in future they may find there is no support.
Boris Johnson has apologised for referring to black people as “piccaninnies” and talking about “watermelon smiles”.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2008/jan/23/london.race
This clearly according to the western media racism against black people was never raised by Western media during the election but Corbyn’s ‘antisemitism’ was bought up multiple times a day by every single newspaper and media outlet. That clearly is selectively enforcing your own standards to your own benefit. (and shows the overt influence of western media by Jewish considerations despite their own protests)
Mayor of London Boris Johnson has apologised for the Hillsborough slurs printed in The Spectator magazine while he was editor.
The current affairs magazine printed an editorial in 2004 which said Hillsborough was “undeniably” a tragedy, but continued: “That is no excuse for Liverpool’s failure to acknowledge, even to this day, the part played in the disaster by drunken fans at the back of the crowd who mindlessly tried to fight their way into the ground that Saturday afternoon.”
It continued: “The police became a convenient scapegoat, and The Sun newspaper a whipping-boy for daring, albeit in a tasteless fashion, to hint at the wider causes of the incident.”

Boris Johnson has apologised over his Hillsborough slurs
Talking about the attitudes of Liverpudlians, the article added: “They see themselves whenever possible as victims, and resent their victim status; yet at the same time they wallow in it.”
The Hillsborough jury this week ruled fans were not to blame in any way for the disaster and the victims were unlawfully killed. ‘

Boris Johnson’s secret pro-EU article revealed, expressing doubts over Brexit
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-secret-pro-eu-article-revealed-expressing-doubts-brexit-a7363781.html
I think Britain has elected a psycopath. Whether he delivers Brexit as promised is anyone’s guess.
BoJo has already said that he wants to discuss the NHS situation before Christmas. We will know very soon what they are planning; but I am sure some rich business people are going to be the beneficiaries. The media will make a lot of propaganda to convince the credible ones about the merits of the new service…
The Tories don’t seem to care about Scotland’s separatist threat, either, as BoJo said there will NOT be a referendum. He believes that the Parliament will refuse the authorization for a referendum to Scotland…
Even if Brexit happens, it will take at least 3 years before people can see any change – and it may not be what they wanted. In fact, the workers blame the EU for all their problems, and will be frustrated with the results of Brexit, while the media will blame some events for the deterioration of their living standards. Anyway, if the living conditions were people’s priority and they believed that the Tories would do a better job than the Labour, they will have to live with the results of their choice.
“I have described them as bulldogs.”
LOL, have you been around bulldogs much. Neither trump or johnson resemble a bulldog (beyond in facial features, perhaps, and in intelligence regarding johnson). Trump is the quintessential conniving suck up, while johnson is a public skoolboi team player sort.
The brexit of Boris Johnson is a fraud, like the one of Theresa May. It is brexit in name, but not in gain.
I smelled a rat, because I know the story of Norway “staying outside of the EU”. Then prime minster Brundland made a deal with the EU in 1992. The deal has made Norway de facto member of the union from January 1994. Then there was a referendum about «full membership». The Norwegians rejeced it, like they had done back in 1972. The result is that Norway stays outside in name, but not in gain. Norway accepts almost all legislation the EU is throwing at the country.
Boris Johnson is a fraud, but Nigel Farage seems to be honest.
You can inform yourself of the nature of this “brexit” here:
https://www.thebrexitparty.org/read-this/
I liken brexit to the child wanting financial freedom from the parents and the parents continually reject it in order to keep control over the offspring. The closer to freedom, the louder the parent crows. This is a preview to the U.S. elections where Trump the child will win, and the democratic parents will keep crowing until its time to finally place the parents into a nursing home and get on with the business of the day.
The split I predicted in the Dems starting with a NY Dem Rep jumping ship today.
And Pelosi being 80 a is nursing home candidate from the start. Bernie too.
Agreed, this story about Norway is correct. Brundtland followed in the footsteps of Quisling, and Stoltenberg was her lapdog.
You hit the nail Norwegian! Thanks a lot!
Sorry for my spelling mistake, Brundtland, not Brundtland. When it comes to my link above, to the Brexit Party, you have to scroll down to arrive at the summary of the Johnson deal. The EU is not going to give a better deal, so the only meaningful brexit is a clean one, i.e. a no deal brexit. Farage shouldn’t have trusted Johnson a second and now the Brexit party is out of steam. Just the same happened in Norway.
I’d go crazy trying to follow that kind of politics.

There are always those silly people to the right who claim to KNOW where the election is really about. That is how Americans got their southern wall built, all their foreign wars ended and their swamp drained.
No one knows whether brexit will be delivered, and if so no one knows what kind of brexit it will be. I expect that the payments will be made in London and the decisions in Brussel. A lose-lose situation for the UK and its future residents.
”The traditional left wing in Western Europe will continue declining since it is not at all prepared to break with Western hegemony.”
Right, and it becomes even worse as it combines this pro-imperialist outlook with its support for open borders; never mind the alphabet soup of sexual deviations.
A small quibble. “Both see politics as a theater stage”. Perhaps this will be a bit more accurate: “Both see politics as their theater stage”. To both, all the other actors do not seem to count for anything :)

Was the UK vote count rigged.?
Something similar happened in the Australian Federal Election too.
Friends of mine were in London on the day of the vote and spoke to many, many people ; at the hotel, on the underground, at the shops, all over and no one, not one person who they spoke to voted for the Tort party.
The conservative party and Boris Johnson in particular, are despised, and just try talking to people north of London !!
I did not vote for them, my my friends, professional colleagues neither. The whole thing was stitched up beforehand. Well stitched up to avoid a hung parliament scenario as well.
Off Guardian know the score, Craig Murray and others.
It is obviuus that he media ganged up on Corbyn. Obviously, they wanted Johnson/the Conservatives to win.
Corbyn may have weakened his position with the traditional Labour base by waffling on Brexit.
But the role of the media cannot be discounted.
Katherine
Totally agree. The media completely slandered him, while portraying the crass and bumbling BoJo as some sort of “statesman”.
As far as I understand Johnson’s Brexit deal is simply a rehashed version of May’s deal, which is Brexit in name only. I.e UK loses the right to vote but still has to pay the EU billions…
English people voted against the identity politics of Corbyn, this kind of politics doesn’t interest normal people except perhaps the trendy world citizens in metropolitan cities. Corbyn was more worried about terrorist’s human rights and LGBTQ sex education in schools than with normal people’s opinions and worries.
Do you mean the Irish Republican Army “terrorists” fighting to be rid of English imperialism in Ireland?
or the Palestinian “terrorists” in Gaza using peashooters to fight a first world army?
He defended ISIS bride who had been stripped of British citizenship. It was however not a defense of her personally but re-affirmation of her rights for legal advice.

The Labour party basically consists of Blairite Interventionists and very peculiar, incompetent individuals like Diane Abbott or Saddiq Khan who cannot get the knife crime epidemic in London under control. Both of these groups are strongly pro-EU so Corbyn had little choice in this matter. He could not go against his party and be strongly anti EU..
Cornyn is the last of the working class politicians, like Ken Livingstone. They will probably share the same fate.
Knide crime in London is, largely, a result of Conservative policy enriching the upper class at the expense of everyone else. Corby was attempting to redress some of that inequlaity by a policy of higher marginal income tax rates – there was no way the toffs could ever allow it getting back to top rate of 75% in 1971.
I’m no fan but how do you imagine Khan can be blamed for knife crime?
https://theconversation.com/knife-crime-causes-and-solutions-editors-guide-to-what-our-academic-experts-say-113318
Why is knife crime increasing?
1. Toxic environments for children, created by austerity
2. Children and young people are afraid of becoming victims
3. Children and young people don’t trust the authorities to protect them
Gangs, drill music, social media – overstated impact?
Gangs and youth violence are regularly conflated in mainstream media reports and government policy. Yet data from the Metropolitan Police in London has shown that a gang element was identified in only “a relatively small amount of serious youth violence” – under 5% of cases (2011 to 2016)
How can the problem be solved?
Just giving police more power is not the solution – academic consensus
Solutions need to put children and young people first
Academics consistently advocate solutions that put children and young people first.
Here are some solutions for the UK government that academics have proposed:
Stop stigmatising young people – listen to them instead
Divert children and young people away from toxic environments and into positive, nurturing ones that meet their basic needs
Invest in youth services, social care and extracurricular activities
Provide educational support to reduce school exclusions and improve outcomes
Work with families and communities to support, educate and rehabilitate young people
Invest in community-based policing to restore trusting relations
Create opportunities for training and employment to improve young people’s chances finding work and building professional relationships
“Cornyn is the last of the working class politicians, like Ken Livingstone. ”
I think youi are right about that.”They will probably share the same fate.”
”
I hope not. I hope that Corbyn can find a platform to continue to fight for the rights of regular blokes.
while also saying what needs to be said about the actual interference in British elections and pubilc life.
Either within or outside the Labour Party.
Katherine
Exactly, Katherine! Corbyn was under an enormous pressure from the media smearing him 24/7. He was against the EU membership but his party was divided. He should have stood firm, but not even Farage stood firm. Corbyn lost by yielding to the establishment in his own party and Farage lost by yielding to boy Boris. The British people was duped by the Tories. It is terrible to admit: These days the people of South American banana republics seems more politically conscious than the people of our so-called western “democracies”.
Correct, many of the population have been lobotomized by decades of Propaganda,i don’t know how we get past it,i live in a working class Northern town thats been Labour as long as i have been alive, yet last thursday it went blue,i don’t like to say it but many of the people in my town are uninformed thick people,i heard one yesterday on TV saying he didn’t support Corbyn because he wouldn’t bow before the Queen, this is what we are up against, then there is the Oligarch owned Media, they are actually a threat to Democracy in this Country, they will attack any leader of the Labour party that goes up against the establishment,i am talking about the Barclay Brothers and Murdoch, and as shown in this election even the BBC,its the Deep State.
London did not vote Tory, it has always been a Labour stronghold, amplified this time by London having voted Remain.
You need to step out into the real world of Stoke on Trent, Burnley and the like….
Wouldnt surprise me at all.
Thats one of their most effective methods. 2 for 1, they get the minion they want elected, and as a side effect everyone suspicious of their neighbor.
At the 2017 election both Labour and Conservative parties pledged to abide by the referendum result. The high Labour vote of 40% was maintained until the ‘Peoples Vote’ campaign succeeded in moving Labour’s policy towards a second referendum. This caused an immediate drop in the polls to the low 30s. While most Labour MPs were remainers, despite many of them representating Leave constituencies, the volte face of senior shadow cabinet members towards openly supporting Remain made the policy a laughing stock. Of the 59 lost seats, 5 were to the SNP and 52 were in constituencies where the majority had voted leave.
Another major factor was the contrived anti-semitism smear campaign and the unremitting negative media coverage of Corbyn over a 4 year period.
As Johnson is poised to introduce voter id and equal population constituencies it will be very difficult for Labour to ever win again.
It baffles me that a site that strongly believes that the Empire is AngloZionistdoesn’t see that the populist honey that Trump and Johnson lavish on the masses will sour into Zionist vinegar before too long.
Brexit is a gimmick invented by Zionists to weaken and even dissolve European economic competiveness with the Empire that Europe was trying to compete with economically. Europe, in its disloyalty to the AngloZionist credo, was starting to evolve a BDS resistance to Zionism, and the Iran deal was opening up economic ties between Europe and Iran, the last strongest bastion of resistance against Zionism and so a scheme needed to be developed to break the emerging threat to the Zionist realm and its expansion. Therefore: enter Trump, Brexit and Boris Johnson to save the farm.
Jeremy Corbyn never had a chance against the monumental Zionist propaganda onslaught that was hammering him every single day online, in the press and televised media smearing him as an anti-Semite and dangerous socialist. This massive smear campaign waged against Jeremy Corbyn should tell us everthing about who’s pulling the strings, and the disastrous outcome that the tool, Brexit, represents for any resistance against the AngloZionist Empire.
Brexit represents the strengthening of Anglo and American unity in service of the Zionist Empire. That’s all it is.
It doesn’t take rocket science to see what’s going on here. Trump delivered on all promises made to Zionists, the list is long, the latest being an executive order to muzzle anti-Zionist activism on all U.S. campuses and crush BDS activism everywhere. Without American student activism, and the economic and political resistance Europe was generating against Zionism, the domination of the AngloZionist Empire will be complete.
Trump and Johnson will strengthen the AngloAmerican bond to the detriment of the rest of the Zionist-disloyal Europe, as TJ are agents of the Empire, Zionism and Capitalism peddling populist honey that will soon sour.
We are embarking on a dangerous orwellian looking-glass reality where black is white, up is down and people are driven cattle unable to recognize the difference. When Trump squeals his deception the world is bemused, helpless and deluded. Trump represents capitalist, Zionist fascism on steriods. His repetitive squeals that incite and impassion populist fervor are the tools of a skilled demagogue in service of AngloZionist imperialism. He’s an expert demagogue and that’s why he was chosen and Boris Johnson was chosen to brexit the anglo herd straight into the arms of Zionism and the wider fold under its domination.
No this is not the beginning of utopia. This is dystopia and everyone’s blind.
The pigs are leading us closer and closer to fascism. You are on the wrong side.
To all my friends at Moon of Alabama, has it come down to rabid censorship? Is this what Trumpism begets? Zionist protectionism? Can we no longer call a spade a spade; a pig a pig without being banned? Trump is a capitalist Zionist fascist pig. There, I said it! And I’ll say it again, everywhere, because it’s the TRUTH. Your blind Trumpism won’t stop me. That’s what you’re pushing daily…a Zionist fascist pig! He’s not the Deliverer from neoliberalism. He’s the face of AngloZionist fascist domination.
Sanders and Corbyn were the authentic answers to neoliberalism, and you threw them to the wolves with your viral adulation and obsessive distraction with TRUMP and your failure to support them with the passion you squander on Trump, the agent of permanent ruin and obediance to a fake religion, a fake god called Zionism.
Remember this, from this day forward, we are divided into three camps:
1. Trumpism or Zionist capitalist fascism
2. Zionist, capitalist neoliberalism
3. Anti-Zionist democratic socialism
You cannot be in 3 and be a part of 1 or 2. If you are in 1 or 2 then you are a traitor to 3 and therefore, the enemy of good, evolution and the well-being of all mankind.
Corbyn is a spineless coward who does not have the courage or character to stand up for what he claims to believe in. A truly pathetic character, much like his analogue in the US, one Bernie Sanders, who is also an ardent supporter of Israel. Corbyn is a lukewarm supporter of the Palestinian cause, lip service, nothing of substance. The Israeli lobby doesn’t like him for that, of course, & so they try to destroy him to serve as an example to others. But they know that he would destroy himself anyway, which is what he just did, & took the Labour Party with him. He did exactly what I predicted he would do, he pretended to be for Brexit when really he wasn’t, because he knew the traditional working class in the English heartland & north hate the EU with a passion, they know the EU is actually a nazi-corporate-bankster entity which is in reality a German expansionist project via a liberal “Europe of regions” facade. It’s nazi roots have been well documented. So Corbyn attempted to catch the Labour base, but he couldn’t go against the parliamentary party, who are brazen pro-EU remainers & national traitors down to the letter, including Corbyn himself, who would sell the country & the NHS with it to the highest or lowest bidder, if he got his cut. Corbyn was brought to lead the Labour Party as a PR stunt in the wake of the fiasco that Tony Blair created (Afghanistan & Iraq), Gordon Brown cemented with the banking bailouts & austerity, & then the truly idiotic Miliband who just finished the party off with his ultra-Blairite fanaticism. Corbyn was brought in by the Blairite club to give gloss as if some one with genuine left wing & socialist principles would revert Labour to its traditional roots, without really doing a damn thing in that direction. Anyone with brains could have told the party leadership at the time that this will finish them off, because the time is coming when politics is not going to be able to get away with the kind of deception they are used to puking out to a gullible populace. But they didn’t get it, Galloway warned them, he warned them about taking an unprincipled stand on the Brexit issue, prophetically telling them they will get smashed. The Tories didn’t just win a landslide for any other reason than England wants out of the nazi outfit calling itself the European Union. Scotland threatens independence, what does that mean? Exchanging what they see as an English colonial master for a more ferocious German colonial master which will rob them blind. See Slovenia & Croatia, who are now reaping well deserved dividends for destroying Yugoslavia & in Croatia’s case conducting a final genocide against the Serbian people. Those two provinces of the reich are about to become a German backwater, they already are, but when the EU tanks, Germany will make it official. They would do the same to Scotland – wiser heads among the great Scottish people know better & are not falling for the SNP’s poison. A third option is needed where they are concerned, Wales also, confederalism or some such arrangement, where England will also gain home rule once & for all. That is where we are going. I am all for it, Morrisey once sang Irish blood English heart, in my case its Serbian blood English heart, this country needs to begin to free itself & it will be a long road that ends in the City of London & the offices of MI5/6.
Corbyn just buried the Labour Party & they will crucify him for it, that’s why he speedily announced his resignation, the clown is too much the coward to face the firing squad with dignity, so he did what he always does, punked out. Now Labour is back in the official control of the Blairite fascist wing & instead of doing what is wise, & self preservatory, bringing in the membership to vote on a new leadership which will truly return the party to its roots, they are about to adopt an even more vicious neo-liberal agenda, claiming their experiment in Corbynite socialism ruined them at the elections. And so they will go to the next parliamtentary elections & get destroyed completely. It will be good riddance to bad rubbish, if there is nothing more insidious than a rabid chauvinistic right wing, it is a fake neo-nazi left, that pretends to be liberal but is in fact more intolerant that even Hitler & his maniac crew.
@srbalj
I have to agree with you that corbyn was/is a complete fraud whose job it was to destroy the labor party. I long pegged him as a Trojan horse who did every obvious move to damage the party he was leading, this included being deliberately nebulous regarding Brexit, when logic dictated he should have been openly pro-brexit. He also deliberately did not purge or sideline his party of the ignorant neoliberal useful idiots of Blairite extraction; a real leftist socialist would have done that, but a saboteur pretending to be a progressive leftist, would not (just like Jeremy corbyn).
He also went out of his way to alienate traditional vote banks of the labor party: he alienated working class native britons (white Anglo or Celtic brits, how idiotic that I have to explain what a native Brit is, but that is the insane era we live in) by undermining Brexit and by cosying up to Islamist lobby groups amongst Pakistani British subjects, he drove away other Asian “brits” by supporting politically motivated anti caste laws when there isn’t a caste problem amongst British Hindus and Sikhs (a move that would have allowed massive mischief by the British state to destroy the economic independence of British Hindu and Sikh communities) and finally, his support for the idiotic and incompetent mayor of London that has turned London into the stabbing capital of the world. I cannot believe for a minute that these were not deliberate moves to ensure that the labor party imploded. I believe corbyn carried out his role of saboteur diligently and full awareness.
Now I should mention that I have zero sympathy for his party and their sick social agenda, so karma is a bitch and they’re getting what they deserve. Ditto for the tories, they have a Donmeh charlatan called Boris Johnson (aka Boris Osman Ali Kemal) (Yes Boris Johnson is the direct descendant of Ali Kemal, an Ottoman alleged Anglophile of Donmeh origins). I’m really pleased that he is in command of Britain because that is justice and karma full circle.
Absolutely, you nailed it, I forgot to mention Boris Johnson in my rant, & some may be under the impression that those of us who see Corbyn for the Trojan Horse he is/was, some how have sympathy for the Eton boy with pale blonde hair, or even worse, City of London metals trader Nigel Farage. This is the establishment imploding, no, it is not going to lead to either a socialist or a patriotic type revolution, but a revolutionary process is beginning where a vacuum is about to open up, all over the western world, & there in lies the opportunity for some change.
I’ve met Jeremy a couple of times, and he is an honest and principled gentleman. Regretably, he lacks any hint of ruthlessness or cunning (which are unfortunately essential skills for political leadership). He does however make excellent jam.
As for Boris…ominously, Circassians tend to rise to positions of political leadership when their host nations are just about to collapse (United Ireland! Free Scotland! etc. ;-)
The United Kingdom of England and Wales, hopefully sooner than later. Little Englanders voted for the new Nazi party in droves.
Kiss goodbye to the NHS and most should prepare to starve. Turkeys voting for xmas. Slap it into them.
Georgw Galloway tweeting he is to start a workers party to force an absolute Brexit…..Labour party going to be in freefall? John McDonnel going from shadow cabinet when JC goes…..
Problem with UK implemenataion of EU Directives is that they were/are in favour of the sitting (UK) elite over the working class i.e. even worsre than the EU law implementation in most member nations.
Not much difference but the UK elite are even more Nazi than the top brass of the “EU”.
At least the common man could, until Brexit, take the UK to court in a state liability “Frankovich” calim https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francovich_v_Italy
Now the Nazis are in unfettered power, the common man can starve.
My best wishes for George Galloway and the Workers Party! Thanks for info, JJ!
I am a great admirer of George Galloway.
He is one of the few who tells is like it is.
I do hope he follows through to found a new party.
Perhaps Corbyn can have a role in such an endeavour.
Many here see Corbyn as a coward and also a (willing) tool.
I cannot make that assessment because I have followed British politics from afar and don’t know the territory well enough.
I was thrilled when Corbyn became Labour leader. Perhaps I was being unrealistic and nostalgic.
I have been appalled at the smear campaign against him, the antisemitism charges. The latter seem utterly ridiculous. How can the British electorate fall for such obvious BS? Yet I wish Corbyn had fought back more aggressively to defend his reputation and call out these defamers and manipulators. Jews are a small minority in the UK. They have a lot of chutzpah making the whole General Election about antisemitism and the Jews. Especially when it’s all made up out of whole cloth. One is tempted to give credence to Circe: That the Zionists’ paw prints are all over this election. They certainly do seem poised to take all the pieces in the USA, the EU, and the UK and close down all debate about Israel.
I read in an article in the London Review of Books that Corbyn *couldn’t* be prime minister because he would not be willing to push the nuclear button if it was necessary. He would not kill. Therefore he could not be taken seriously as PM, the highest political post in the UK. Unlike, say, the war criminal Blair.
AFAIK none of the party leaders have served in the military. What do any of them know about war? They are all chicken hawks. Give me a chicken or a dove over a chicken hawk any day.
Seems to me he did need tougher killer instincts in doing battle in the media. Perhaps one can fault him for not being media-savvy enough.
Perhaps the kitchen was indeed too hot for Corbyn (“IF you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen’).
The more analyses I hear of the vote and the Brexit issue, the less clear it becomes to me where the true advantage of Britain and her “regular” citizens lies. It comes down to whether the EU is seen as basically progressive or reactionary. And, to what it takes to steer the ship of state, especially economically, in these days of imperial overreach coupled with possible imperial collapse.
Furthermore, I wonder whether the Johnson win will end up strengthening Trump.

Will Boris Johnson address the issues regarding “non-crime hate incidents?”

Someone from some planet said something about me being a “Guardianista”……LOL.
Speaking of the Guardian, Quite Frankly…..this is a great JOKE….mainly because it’s NOT….>. “a joke”:
Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS …..instigator of the Steele Dossier and Robert Mueller Special Counsel reacts to “Russian Interference” in Britain’s election two days ago. The Guardian headline declares:
“Britain Needs Its Own Mueller Investigation!”
“Conservative-leaning media in U.K . and US see little mileage in exposing meddling that helped their own side.”
Talk about Cuckoo-land! It doesn’t get any more ridiculous than THAT!
But, hey, the winner’s name is BORIS….what could be more Russian-Influenced than that????
But don’t worry about going “out of Europe”.
Worry about already being out of your frickin’ MINDS!
I can’t believe I am saying this but Jeremy Corbyn turned out to be controlled opposition afterall. What a massive shock when I learned that he was supporting a second referendum. I used to think he was a man of integrity but with that move all the respect I had for him went out into the trash. I mean what stopped him for respecting the referendum? Afterall, it was supposed to be a democracy and majority usually wins the vote. It was much better for him to abide by the result and keep his integrity than to be “disgraced” out of the party. He turned out to be an inexperience politician. He was bested by Bojo and Farrage who both abode by the result of the referendum “Brexit Means Brexit”
One cannot talk honestly about democracy and the European Union in the same breath: they are diametrical opposites. The EU is ruled by a self-perpetuating elite. Its aim is to introduce policies favourable to this largely Franco-German elite.
The birthrate of indigenous Europeans is falling. Immigrants are essential for many reasons. They are welcomed by the elite as a source of essential labour, as long as they can be effectively controlled along with the rest of the population. They are NOT so welcome to the indigenous populations who still care principally about their own livelihoods and, to a lesser but significant extent, about their own cultures. The elites are unconcerned, as long as they can keep control.
No member-state of the EU has managed, so far, to leave the Union despite the feelings of the populace. Ireland and Greece are previous examples. The elites have prevailed.
Johnson, like Trump, is a narcissistic maverick. He is part of a well-established elite in Britain that, as in the EU, keeps a firm if well-hidden control of the populace, as it has done for almost 1000 years. Who knows what drives Boris?
Everything is in flux. The “United” Kingdom is NOT a unitary nation. Scottish commitment to the UK is in question as, possibly to a lesser extent, is that of Northern Ireland. If the UK successfully leaves the EU, other states may follow. The EU is, arguably, a much more shaky union than that of the UK that has largely survived for hundreds of years. Even the Republic of Ireland is heavily dependent on the UK, despite its membership of the EU.
One can contemplate three rates of change occurring simultaneously: short-term (of a few years), medium-term (of 2 or 3 decades), and long-term (extending to centuries). Perhaps surprisingly, the short-term is the least predictable other than to say it will be marked by rapid change and adjustments. In the middle-term, it is unlikely that the EU will survive – its membership is too diverse for unity of purpose to be established. Fear of Russia cannot continue indefinitely as a unifying force. In the long-term, supra-national factors will play a dominant part including environmental degradation (including global warming), genetic engineering in all its many forms, nuclear radiation and its incompatibility with stabilised life-forms, and the replacement of populations, not by immigrants, but by the applications of artificial intelligence rendering human labour largely redundant.
I appreciate the effort taken to lay out this prediction in its many parts. Much to think about here.

Caitlan Johnson has a very good analysis of the brit election. Some useful highlights:
Someone Interfered In The UK Election, And It Wasn’t Russia
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/52704.htm
“The centrists and mainstream media outlets are responsible for the right wing win in the UK. They spent all their time bashing and smearing Jeremy Corbyn bc they will always prioritize smashing the left, even if it means allying with the far right. Shameful.
— Rania Khalek (@RaniaKhalek) December 13, 2019
Nobody will suffer any consequences for interfering in the UK election because the ones doing the interfering were extremely powerful, and that’s who the system is built to serve.
Numerous other factors went into this result, including most notably a Labour Party ambivalently straddling an irreconcilable divide on the issue of Brexit, but it is also undeniable that the election was affected by a political smear campaign that was entirely unprecedented in scale and vitriol in the history of western democracy. This smear campaign was driven by billionaire-controlled media outlets, along with intelligence and military agencies, as well as state media like the BBC.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has been described as the most smeared politician in history, and this is a fair description. Journalist Matt Kennard recently compiled documentation of dozens of incidents in which former and current spooks and military officials collaborated with plutocratic media institutions to portray Corbyn as a threat to national security. Journalistic accountability advocates like Media Lens and Jonathan Cook have been working for years to compile evidence of the mass media’s attempts to paint Corbyn as everything from a terrorist sympathizer to a Communist to a Russian asset to an IRA supporter to a closet antisemite. Just the other day The Grayzone documented how establishment narrative manager Ben Nimmo was enlisted to unilaterally target Corbyn with a fact-free Russiagate-style conspiracy theory in the lead-up to the election, a psyop that was uncritically circulated by both right-wing outlets like The Telegraph as well as ostensibly “left”-wing outlets like The Guardian.
Just as Corbyn’s advocacy for the many over the plutocratic few saw him targeted by billionaire media outlets, his view of Palestinians as human beings saw him targeted by the imperialist Israel lobby as exposed in the Al Jazeera documentary The Lobby.
The historically unprecedented smear campaign that was directed at Corbyn from the right, the far-right, and from within his own party had an effect. Of course it did. If you say this today on social media you’ll get a ton of comments telling you you’re wrong, telling you every vote against Labour was exclusively due to the British people not wanting to live in a Marxist dystopia, telling you it was exclusively because of Brexit, totally denying any possibility that the years of deceitful mass media narrative management that British consciousness was pummelled with day in and day out prior to the election had any impact whatsoever upon its results.
Right. Sure guys. Persistent campaigns to deliberately manipulate people’s minds using mass media have no effect on their decisions at all. I guess that’s why that whole “advertising” fad never made any money.
A free and healthy society would not work this way. A free and healthy society would view all forms of manipulation as taboo and unacceptable. A free and healthy society would not allow the will of members of one small elite class to carry more weight than the will of anyone else. A free and healthy society would give everyone an equal voice at the table, and look after everyone’s concerns. It certainly wouldn’t tolerate a few individuals who already have far too much abusing their power and wealth to obtain even more.>/b>”
One aspect of the UK’s membership in the EU is that it weakened its relationship with the former colonies, especially Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, but also India, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Belize, and of course the US. One product of Brexit is likely to be a strengthening of the Anglosphere (The Five Eyes) in trade and military cooperation.
This is the only plausible explanation, not at all the “tremendous anger felt by working people from decades of declining living standards and austerity” (this was the cover). If it was any anger, it was directed at the low-life immigrants from Eastern Europe and whatever is said, England is very cosy with its Muslim population. Historically speaking, England always felt ‘different’ from the ‘Continent’ (a hidden complex of inferiority) and mentally resisted any ‘invasion’ by it. There is perhaps also the problem of NATO. England feels that NATO is on its way to oblivion and doesn’t want to be dragged down by it.
Brexit was a reflection of the tremendous anger felt by working people from decades of declining living standards and austerity. Western capitalism, primarily in the US began to stagnate in the mid-1970s, a direct consequence of rebuilt economies in Europe (Marshall Plan), Japan, S Korea and more recently China. In response, neoliberal economic policies were instituted to channel more money from working people to large corporate interests. These included: attacks on labor and unions, job outsourcing to Mexico, China and other low-wage platforms, financial de-regulation (gave rise to 2008 financial crash), multiple tax cuts for the wealthy, cuts in spending for healthcare, education and other social needs, and increasing spending on the military and war. The UK/NATO/Israel are little more than US vassals and used to promote corporate power and wealth and in this capacity, are fully integrated into the Pentagon’s wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen.
Brexit has been skillfully used by Nigel Farage, head of UK Independence Party (UKIP), Boris Johnson, etc. to channel well justified working class anger at ‘establishment’ political parties, just as Trump did in 2016, stating that he would make America ‘great again’. The undertone of these campaigns was not directed at the wealthy institutions that carried out these neoliberal policies, but rather at minorities/immigrants who were seen as ‘stealing jobs’.
It is interesting to watch how immigration, particularly from the ME is handled in the EU. Rather than critically analyzing what creating this problem in the first place- decades of imperialist wars and regime change operations in countries which have large energy reserves (Iraq, Libya, Iran) and/or strategic location (Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Yemen) and people in the affected countries doing anything they can to escape the poverty, violence and chaos unleashed by these wars, politicians (typically rightwing/neofascists) blame the governments for accepting these ‘immigrants’.
Now that the UK election is done, what can people expect from Boris? A piece from World Socialist website sums things up well.
‘The UK is now led by an extreme-right Conservative government which, under Boris Johnson, is pledged to exit the European Union (EU) on January 31 in order to complete the “Thatcher revolution.”
Johnson will move towards trade and military war in alliance with the Trump administration at the expense of jobs, wages and working conditions. His agenda is to destroy the National Health Service (NHS), whip up nationalism, impose anti-migrant measures and carry out a frontal assault on democratic rights.’
In short, Boris Johnson will accelerate austerity and poverty in the UK. Working people in the UK, just as in the US are facing a very bleak economic future.

I know that Breaking Up Is Very Hard To Do…….and It makes a lot of you very, very blue…..
But it’s EXACTLY what many, many Boys and Girls Around The World………..Currently Need to Do!
AND……After that Breaking Up Of Empire , a new generation or two can then decide about When and with Whom……..to be Making Up…..Anew!
Life and Love Can Then Continue ……………..for the Better………in a Multi-Polar World of slightly more sovereign people in sovereign republics………. WITHOUT Empire….especially once you send your Freaky Ruling Saxe- Gotha Family…packing…Back to Saxony!

Tonight’s call will feature former NSA Technical Director Bill Binney, former CIA and State Department Counterterrorism Analyst Larry Johnson, and LaRouchePAC’s Barbara Boyd and Dennis Speed in a dialogue about the shocking facts produced by DOJ Inspector General Horowitz and the missing elements which must be exposed now to end the coup. In a discussion preceding the call, Bill Binney referred to the fact that a war is on now between those who are wedded to the present oligarchical system and are wildly attempting to preserve it, and those who have chosen to break from that system, regardless of nominal political persuasion. As Lyndon LaRouche specified, the fundamental dividing line is between a decadent elite, wedded to an oligarchical model and using the legal regime imposed internationally in the wake of 9/11 and the Iraq War and a citizenry which revolted in 2016 and needs to develop the insight and intellectual depth required to defeat this monster who would take the world down with it.
Here’s the call with presenters Bill Binney (ex-NSA) and Larry Johnson (ex-CIA analyst) both members of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) :

They “get” the need to get out of the Imperial System …..and the organization they are presenting to “got” forty years ago…………the urgent need to break up……..with YOU!
And to get out of the Phillipines, South Korea, Japan and a number of other places.
Just as y’all oughta finally pack up and get the hell out of Gibraltar, the Malvinas (son Argentinas!) and all your other “naval choke points” your masters have used to choke the rest of humanity………..and eventually YOU as well!
The main thing confusing and depressing y’all is the “No Way Out” absurdities of the Left/Right divisions of your brains that your masters have used for many generations to Mind Control you.
Because of this embedded programming many of you simply cannot imagine (and therefore reject as axiomatically absurd……) the quite real potential that The Donald…..in his present flirting with Boris and Breaking Up with Europe could EVER conceivably be………..the Orange Wrecking Ball……that in fact CAN…….demolish the Empire Model.
Don’t accept this notion naively. Simply sceptically consider it for 1-5 years.
Chin up, now, Mates! Stiff Upper Lip!
Carry on!
Your analysis is utterly flawed. If the UK had proportional representation the votes cast would have given the Conservatives 288 seats (instead of the 365 under the current system, minus 77 seats!) and all the other parties combined would have got 362, a majority of 74 over the Conservatives. The Conservatives did not win on votes.
Furthermore, nearly 52 per cent supported parties in favour of a second referendum, compared with 47 per cent who supported Brexit-backing parties, such as the Tories, the DUP and the Brexit party. The Toty win deprives the people of the 2nd referendum they have just voted for. So the Tories lost on both measures.
Across the UK it took:
🗳️864,743 votes to elect 1 Green MP
🗳️642,303 votes to elect 0 Brexit Party MPs
🗳️334,122 votes to elect a Lib Dem MP
🗳️50,817 votes to elect a Labour MP
🗳️38,316 votes to elect a Plaid Cymru MP
🗳️38,300 votes to elect a Con. MP
🗳️25,882 votes to elect a Scottish National Party MP
The UK voting system is unrepresentative of voters.
Hemiola
Interesting statistics. Can you provide the source, please?
The UK will never leave the EU except in name. Johnson, like Macron, is Rothschild’s man. He will do what he is ordered to do by the Israeli lobby.
The Conservatives have been in power for almost ten years and have destroyed the UK through austerity, allowing private companies to rip off the public in any way chosen and by destroying the social safety nets.
Nothing will change except superficially. The Labour Party has been in crisis ever since war monger Blair was elected. Another useful idiot that did the bidding of Israel.
In the next few years everything that can be privatised will be. The rich will get richer and the poor poorer because Johnson looks upon the poor as idiots, or goyim (cattle).
This Conservative government is a government of occupation. It represents only the rich and the rich do not want to leave the EU. A cursory look at what deal Johnson is offering the EU will tell you it is almost the same as May’s deal which means Britain will be worse off than if we had remained in as a full member.
On top of that the UK’s armed forces are being amalgamated with the EU’s. Without our own armed forces we can not possibly be independent.
I’m sorry, but this article is incorrect.
Ted Heath.
Somebody is going to suffer from a crisis of confidence over there, its going to be far worse than publicized and will be long forgot before they even figure out what they were scraping about.
Well if Boris doesnt deliver BREXIT in the way expected he and the Conservatives will pay a long term price for it at the next election as Nigel Farage & his supporters will be around for long time I suspect.
The UK people will turn on them and not be fooled in the long term.
Quite a lot of discussion over at Craig Murray’s blog as to evidence that the vote was rigged—the whole campaign rigged, as a matter of fact.
But here commenters, quite intelligent ones, are discussing probabilities of a small number of votes being so evenly and targetedly distributed so as to result in a gain of 47 seats, e.g.:
“Coming back to the start of this post, gaining 47 seats on a 1.2 point increases in your vote is unprecedented. ”

Ken Kenn,
The odds get even more astronomical when you consider that those votes fell, not only exactly where they needed them, but concomitantly in seats with low voter turnout. One thing is very clear, the whole Brexit party (actually a limited company) was a project created solely to create a political entity, not tainted with the Tory brand, which could attract Labour voters, with the goal of creating a Conservative majority. I think the bit of theatre where Farage unilaterally pulled candidates from seats won by the Tories in the last election, seemingly seeking a quid pro quo, was all scripted. The precise configuration of seats in which the Brexit Party would stand, had been wargamed long before it existed as a pseudo political entity; which is why they stood in fewer seats than they actually should have on the basis of the initial claim. It’s why they stood against Labour candidates who were staunchly pro Brexit.
This whole election smells like a state run operation, with corruption and malfeasance both overt and covert, used to deliver the only result it was prepared to accept. So much of what went on makes sense when you take on board the reality that this outcome was rigged.
A smattering of crazy polls putting the Tories 20 points ahead, with the media peddling the narrative that Johnson could get a 200 seat majority. Softening the public up for accepting a much lower, but functionally identical, outcome.
Laura K, is so full of ardour for Johnson and the Tories, I think she gave the game away, when that giddy enthusiasm led her to state that the ‘postal votes aren’t looking good for Labour’. There are some telling things here
1. You couldn’t form any kind of determination to that fact without being privy to a broad sampling of postal votes from a wide range of constituencies.
2. She knows postal votes are predominantly used by elderly voters, and they break by a considerably majority for the Tories. So, again, to make that determination, you’d need to have had rather more than a peek, you would need to have someone going through the data in a fairly methodical way.
Her brief for this election was clearly to sell the inevitability of a Conservative majority, and her postal vote misstep was a perfect example of the kind of thing you see in police interrogations, where in trying to push their narrative, the person being interrogated reveals information they could not possibly have. She was so zoned in to her propagandising, perhaps tired and groggy after a long campaign of shilling for Boris, she let something slip. This view is reinforced by the response from the BBC, which has gone on an extraordinary tirade against anyone who dares to question the integrity of its coverage or the reportage of its ‘journalist’. Not an ounce of contrition, not even a crumb.
Coming back to the start of this post, gaining 47 seats on a 1.2 point increases in your vote is unprecedented. You can say it was a single issue campaign all you want, by way of explanation, but this ignores another issue. This is the party whose two previous leaders, and the incumbent, vowed to ‘get Brexit done’, swore up and down they would deliver it for the people, and then failed to do so. It seems unlikely that for those who Brexit is the be all and end all of political endeavour, would feel compelled, to vote in such large numbers, for a party that has thrice failed to do as it promised. Far more likely would be a surge in the UKIP vote in the seats they stood, masses of spoilt ballot papers with some Brexit related slogan scrawled across them. The complete absence of these things is another oddity, in fact from what I recall of the declarations there seems to have been an unusually low number of spoilt ballots. Very odd, given the political climate, and the festering dissatisfaction on both the left and the right.
Could the Tories (with the help of the state, corporate media, and other forces) rig an election: YES
Would they do it: YES
I mean, that’s another narrative that was so expertly sewn by the MSM, that it is somehow obvious that the Brexit vote would be out in force for the Tories. Not once was this idea challenged, not once was it framed as I have just framed it, as a ludicrous surmise on the basis of their repeated failures to deliver it.

France’s Melenchon Raises Eyebrows With Claim Israeli ‘Networks’ Helped Defeat Corbyn in UK Vote
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201912141077578370-frances-melenchon-raises-eyebrows-with-claim-israeli-networks-helped-defeat-corbyn-in-uk-vote/
“Jean-Luc Melenchon, leader of La France Insoumise, a major French democratic socialist, left-wing populist party, has accused Likud, the ruling party of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of helping to ensure the British Labour Party’s defeat in Thursday’s elections.
Furthermore, Melenchon suggested, “Corbyn spent his time being insulted and stabbed in the back by a handful of Blairite MPs. Instead of fighting back, he remained composed. He had to face the crude accusations of antisemitism, without help, from the Chief Rabbi of England and the various influential networks of Likud (the right wing party of Netanyahu in Israel). Instead of fighting back, he spent his time apologizing and giving guarantees. In both cases, he displayed a weakness that worried voters.”
Ultimately, Melenchon concluded that Labour’s defeat was the “price” paid for its overly broad appeals and lack of backbone.”
For some time now I have been claiming that the zionazi influence pushing such far right politicians as trump in the usa, johnson in the uk and bolsonaro in brazil is likud affiliated. Interesting to see Melenchon confirm this about johnson.
I am just reading Jeff Gates’s “Guilt by Association.”
It was published in 2008. Gates starts by calling out and describing in detail the deep roots of McCain’s beholden-ness to organized crime in Arizona–that is, Jewish organized crime. Th etrail leads right to Canada/Bronfman/Prohibition. The webs of money and influence that Gates describes are jaw-dropping. And this chronicle ended in 2008, before that election.
Gates openly discusses the danger to the USA of electing an open Zionist to the Oval Office.
It is too much for me to precis, but I highly recommend that anyone who doubts the effect of Jewish money and Israel’s policy agenda on American politics should read this book. Gates lays out (among other things) clearly how the McCain-Feingold “reform” in campaign finance played right into the hands, or shall we says pocketbooks, of an already well connected diaspora strewn about in all of the states of the Union so that support for a local candidate could easily be leveraged nationally and even internationally without breaking the (new) laws.
This McCain story is also related to the Liberty scandal (through his father and his connection to Israeli interests of various kinds), which is finally breaking through to portions of the media. But of course “the media” (MSM) is never going to the source of any deeper understanding of what really goes on in this country, and in Israel.
Who is Boris Johnson?
In his own words “I’m a Zionist”
So what’s left to be said?
https://www.debka.com/mivzak/uk-pm-contender-johnson-says-he-is-a-passionate-zionist/
Even Debka the mossad website for Israel IDF, agrees that Boris Johnson is running a ANZ agenda in UK.
“Curiously enough, now, there is again the same empty talk, claiming that people have no idea of the consequences of the election results”.
It seems obvious that the people who say such things do not believe in democracy.
I just wish they would have the honesty to admit it in public.
Diana Johnstone has an incredibly good article on the uk election, the best I’ve read so far.
The Brexit Election Labour Lost. The Relentless Smear Attacks against Jeremy Corbyn
https://www.globalresearch.ca/brexit-election-labour-lost/5697843
This is how she began the article:
“The chorus of smear attacks on Jeremy Corbyn was so vile and relentless that it is unseemly to blame him personally for the defeat of his party in the December 12 parliamentary elections. Perhaps Labour’s defeat was inevitable. But with a different strategy, it would have been a defeat with more promise for the future.
Tactically, Corbyn’s great error was to submit so blandly to the smear campaign accusing Labour of anti-Semitism. The “danger to Jews in Britain” was totally imaginary and should have been vigorously denounced as politically motivated slander. If Corbyn did anything to promote anti-Jewish feeling in Britain, it was by allowing self-appointed spokesmen and women of a small minority to destroy the reputation of party members whom he should have defended. But not even the smear campaign’s identification of British Jews with unquestioning defense of Israel can endanger the secure position of Jews in British society.
But Corbyn’s strategic error was the total failure to develop a Labour-friendly Brexit strategy. His campaign failed to project his program into a post-EU context. Instead, he accepted the prospect of a second referendum that would reverse the first one. A prospect of endless confusion and division.”
And this is how she ended it:
“Corbyn’s desire to compromise with his enemies led him to capitulate to those who consider that the primary if not unique task of “the left” is to decry “racism” and “anti-Semitism”. Such a left merely provides a moral cover for global capitalism by demonizing popular resistance as “populism”.
I have the impression that in Britain, many more or less progressive people wanted to stay in the EU out of fear of being left alone with their own horrible ruling class, with its MI6, its aggressive imperialist traditions, its virtual caste system. “Europe” seemed more gentle and “social” than Britain itself – even though the task of the EU is to wreck the social state to make way for the global reign of finance capital.
Aside from economic or social issues, the vote to leave the European Union was a profound expression of fidelity to Britain’s democratic institutions, to the right of British citizens to make their own laws. The British were never comfortable with accepting regulations and directives drafted in Brussels. They were never totally “in” Europe, having rejected the euro and the Schengen rules on borders. A party that is unwilling to govern a nation reclaiming its sovereignty has disqualified itself.
Failing to embrace Brexit and give it a social program was a fateful timidity. It meant handing Brexit to Boris Johnson. A BoJo Brexit appears more than likely to strengthen the UK’s imperialist ties with the United States and Israel and pursue drastic privatizations at home. And it seems most unlikely to set an appealing example to citizens of other European countries whose dissatisfaction with socio-economic decline under EU direction is growing.“
The British establishment pulled out all the stops to stop socialism, and in the process they recklessly crossed several red lines, which will come back to haunt British society over the next few years (including of course real anti-semitism).
The principal reason for Labour’s defeat was their commitment to a second referendum. They took this self-defeating standpoint because surviving neo-liberals in the party (who should absolutely have been purged by Jeremy Corbyn) applied pressure to party leaders using the Remain voting activist base.
Neo-liberal Tom Watson electorally crippled his own party, just before stepping down as a Labour MP, then the Conservatives immediately took up a tailor made response. A suspiciously orderly progression in my view.
Anyway, in the long term it doesn’t matter that much, because neo-liberals have no real policies except pillaging, which is not a sustainable position.
Capitalism will be dismantled, one way or another.
Johnstone nails the situation, as she very often does.
Thanks for the link.
