There comes a time when shooting around in circles just hits walls, bullets splinter off sidewalks, and shatter a window here and there. But people are in safety. They watch from a distance and with self-assurance.
Venezuela has received five tankers from Iran loaded with hydrocarbons – petrol gas, additives – shipped through a totally US-militarized Caribbean Sea, amidst warnings of attacks and retaliations – and as usual, sanctions ’no end’. How much more sanctions can a country get? There is an immune system, called sovereignty and fearlessness – confidence and dignity. Knowing your rights. That’s what makes the whole difference.
Granted, the tankers were escorted by the Venezuelan Navy and Air Force; especially through Venezuelan waters. And they made it undisturbed to the port of El Palito, a small Venezuelan port run by Venezuela’s state oil company PDVSA. The American shooting didn’t take place and the event was not televised.
Another aggression against Venezuelan sovereignty is the Bank of England’s withholding totally illegally some US$ 1.2 billion worth of Venezuelan gold, deposited voluntarily by Venezuela in times of trust – as part of Venezuela’s reserve funds. With oil prices collapsed, Venezuela decided to use part of her gold reserves to purchase medication and food to counter the disastrous corona effects.
Venezuela claimed the gold deposited at the Bank of England (BoE) which offers gold custodian services mostly but not exclusively to developing nations; and so, does the New York FED and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basle and several other international institutions and central banks considered safe and trustworthy. These are legal arrangements under which the depositing country may withdraw the funds at any time and at will.
Venezuela has a sovereign right to claim these funds without any explanation or justification. The BoE refused, claiming the Government of Nicolas Maduro was not the legitimate government recognized by the UK. Can you imagine – if any government decides to confiscate funds from another government, because they don’t like its leadership — where would we end up? – Well, there is not much guessing. We are already there. The Anglo-Zionist world makes its own rules and decides over and above any international law. And the spineless European puppets follow their cue. It is high time that this matrix collapses and gives way to a civilization that recognizes the values of democracy, justice, basic ethics and human rights.
In this case, Venezuela explained that the money is needed to buy food and medication to counter the nefarious effects of COVID-19. The UN, intervening on behalf of Venezuela, has requested the BoE to return the money. That gesture or action by the UN is in itself is an act of ‘independence’ by the UN against the US, for whom the UN otherwise does the bidding. But to no avail. The BoE didn’t release the Venezuelan-owned gold. As a compromise, Venezuela suggested that the funds be handed over to UNDP (United Nations Development Program) which would buy vital food and medication for Venezuela.
Already at the end of 2018, Venezuelan Finance Minister Simón Zerpa and Central Bank President Calixto Ortega, travelled to London to demand that Venezuela be allowed to take the gold back to Venezuela. In January 2019, the BoE refused the request. All it said publicly was that it did not comment on customer relationships. However, the real reason was clear.
The US-trained and self-proclaimed, US supported Juan Guaido, an Assembly member, who was never elected – who never faced a presidential election – asked Downing Street that the gold was not returned to the legitimate Maduro Government which Washington, the UK and other EU members, out of the blue and without any legal reasons declared illegitimate. What a world! – Imagine that some 40 or 50 countries in the world would decide that Donald Trump and Angela Merkel were illegitimately in their high offices. Well, you laugh. It would never happen.
Under pressure from Washington, and her own neofascist government, the UK and her central bank didn’t budge. The case was brought on May 14, 2020, to a Court in London. A Venezuela-favorable judgement is however unlikely. The case will then go to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Will the ICJ have enough backbone to decide against Washington? That remains to be seen. It would be another sign that Trump’s last trumps are gone.
On yet another account, the Trump Administration has seized all Venezuelan assets in the US, including in 2018, the CITCO refinery and gas station network, in a further attempt to hurt their self-made archenemy, socialist Venezuela. CITCO’s assets in the United States, are estimated at about 8 billion dollars, plus about 30 billion dollars of annual revenues. CITCO covers about 10% of the US domestic gasoline market. Overall Venezuelan assets confiscated – or more accurately described as stolen – in the US and overseas are estimated at about 50 to 70 billion dollars.
In addition to other strangulating sanctions and coercive actions by Washington against Venezuela, just think what these illegally US-appropriated funds could do to ease living conditions of Venezuelans whose hardship has exclusively been brought about by Washington and Washington’s coercion of its so-called western allies – alias vassals, especially Europe – to economically sanction Venezuela. A hardship being exacerbated by the Covid-19 crisis. Mind you, Venezuela has done no harm, has never threatened any of the countries that follow the US dictate on “economic sanctions”.
Yet, through this all, Venezuela remains calm, non-aggressive, non-conflictive, self-assured and survives; and Venezuela has actually mastered the Covid-crisis better than most of Latin America. According to WHO, as of 4 June Venezuela registered 1819 confirmed cases and only 18 deaths.
Venezuela’s strength of resistance and self-determination is extraordinary. It is THE recipe for success and for overcoming western oppression. This autonomy and Iran’s undisturbed solidarity and sovereign action to help Venezuela with oil tankers despite the US threats, are signals to the world that Washington’s empire is crumbling.
Or, as Andre Vltchek pointedly says in his article about the brutal police murder of Mr. George Floyd, “The World Cannot Breathe!” Squashed by the U.S. – A Country Built on Genocide and Slavery: Now more and more people can finally see what few of us have been repeating for years: The entire world has its neck squashed by the U.S. boot. The entire world “cannot breathe”! And the entire world has to fight for its right to be able to breathe!” (https://www.globalresearch.ca/world-cannot-breathe-squashed-usa-country-built-genocide-slavery/5714728).
Let’s add to this: And the entire world is no longer afraid to stand up and defend and fight for their rights.
This “fight” is increasingly a battle of the 99 % against the 1% – the rich and powerful psychopaths wanting to control ever more of the globe’s resources. With every day this battle is turning more in favor of We, the People.
The worldwide corona-lockdown and the yet unfathomable social and economic calamity of uncountable unemployment, famine and misery – unheard of in human history – is unwittingly shocking he billions of victims worldwide into an awakening that the masters behind the crisis, behind the nonsensical lockdown, behind the power and control thirst – the Gates, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Soros and Co., may not have thought of.
The ruthless killing of George Floyd has set in motion a series of riots throughout the US – affecting some 150 US-cities. Admittedly the riots are largely financed and organized by Soros & Co. (see https://www.naturalnews.com/2020-06-02-antifa-plans-purge-of-suburbs-homes-starting-tonight.html) with the objective of a broad military lockdown. Though, these unrests will likely gain their own dynamic, as the wave spreads to Europe and possibly also to the Global South. While the generous financiers of Antifa, Black Lives Matter and other protest organizations may have as their clear objective the militarization of the west, dynamics of an awakened people may derail the diabolical psychopaths’ goals and ring in a new set of societal values.
The resisting forces and perseverance of the people of Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, let alone, Russia and China, have magical power. Never mind the physical losses of stolen assets, of economic sanctions, of attempted humiliation by the neoliberal western alliance breaching contracts and agreements at will, i.e. the Iran Nuclear Deal, several disarmament agreements with Russia – and more – the new wave of spiritual and universal consciousness gains, far outpace these losses. The forces of Light may overcome the Darkness which has engulfed humanity over the last 5,000 years – laying the foundation for a new society with values of equality and peace for a common future for mankind.

I look forward in the coming months and years to more articles by you detailing this process. Perhaps in Minneapolis this begins? or is this a Soros ploy? Or is it that more will be revealed?

Iran still has -?-100-120 billion seized assets frozen in USA plus UN frozen assets somewhere….UK probably still not returning 450-500million also?
With or without COVID-19 and these (relatively harmless) riots (show-off mostly) U.S global hegemony was doomed to end 2020-2021 as Juhan Galtung estimated in late 2016. China has now over 30% bigger GDP-PPP than U.S and gap will be soon about 40%. If we compare real economy China is even more superior. U.S GDP is about 75% fake virtual, making money with money, not producing necessary things. Generally speaking U.S doesn’t produce hardly anything for instance for European consuming markets. We don’t buy American cars, tools…
All the petrol to run the cars, diesel for trucks, home heating fuel and LNG will come from the US, all EU states refusing will be sanctioned out of existance. And really, thats all the US produces these days, fuel, armaments and hate.
Cheers, M
And really, thats all the US produces these days, fuel, armaments and hate.
LOL! Not necessarily in that order, of course!
The forces of Light may overcome the Darkness which has engulfed humanity over the last 5,000 years – laying the foundation for a new society with values of equality and peace for a common future for mankind.
WAY premature to be taking victory laps at this point, me thinks. If anything, this all appears to be a concerted neo-liberal move against Trump, and nothing else. My bet is the beatings will continue with renewed vengeance after they unseat him in the fall. Biden, of course, is going to have to be replaced either before or after the election (alas, his cameo will be mercifully brief), but it’s no secret what that means. The dance card will be short, with the two significant others of the last two Dem presidents comprising the entire menu, with one in the lead chair and the other playing a sweet second fiddle. Not to mention the two hubbies whispering sweet nothings in their ears should their relative inexperience need bolstering from time to time. Imagine that! Rather than get a ‘two fer’ in 2020, we’ll double down on a ‘four fer’!
It is always amusing how you conveniently forget all the assets seized by Hugo Chavez. Were all the American citizens and many other nationals ever compensated for the assets Hugo confiscated? Always the poor mistreated Venezuelan government. Truth is it is just pay back for all the theft perpetrated by Venezuela. Any objective person looking at the history can come to no other conclusion than pay back is rough and Venezuela started it.
Yep. and all those rich Cuban who supported the brutal dictatorships killing and oppressing the people did not get their “stuff” back either after the Revolution by the people of Cuba either.
However, Confiscation against international norms and laws by one government interfering in the internal politics of another is an act of war, my friend, and is an entirely different matter.
Different scenarios and, yes, life is not “fair” but it can be “more just”. depends. The upper crust of Latin America is very venal in their actions and attitudes towards their own people. The ones in Venezuela do not have a very good track history for garnering sympathy and least of all from their own masses.
Theft is theft no matter who is the perpetrator. This is the problem with your argument. The definition of theft is to take someone’s property without compensating them for it. From what I can tell, it is ok for governments to steal from individuals but governments can’t steal from each other. That ain’t Boolean algebra. You are shooting holes in your own bucket and that is why your bucket is empty.
MOD: (Per Google Translate) Do you think that the Americans or Europeans who had assets confiscated did not extort the Venezuelan and Cuban people? Silver and oil, has much more, stolen for years from the country served the people as their true owner. To defend the 1% you must be an alienated lick boots that thinks you are a participant in the booty.
giggle As if the so-called ”legitimate” phoney government of Juan Guaidó enjoyed any noticeable popularity among the Venezuelan people. Marcus Chapman’s inanities illustrate one of the reasons why Western imperialism is doomed. Its propaganda has become entirely silly and retrograde, hence eliciting disgust and raw contempt — and rightly so.
You realize you are talking about a country that Kimberly Clarke shut down the diaper factory because of government price controls. The chinese are not even into losing money to supply a product. Can you tell me who provides products at a loose besides governments or those subsidized by governments. Please try to respond with out the personal vitriol.
Marcus, Your information is not correct. The Chavez government compensated all Western companies.
“you conveniently forget all the assets seized by Hugo Chavez.”
Could you detail these seizures please, and give links to reliable sources?
I’m not arguing with you – it’s just that this is the first I’ve heard of it. However I frequently hear Americans who finessed their way into lifting vast wealth from other countries i.e. Iranian and Iraq oil – and when the poverty stricken people finally just took it back to feed and cloth the natives of the country, the US described this as “theft”.
Is this the theft you are referring to ?
Foreign policy “This land was your land”,Reuters”fact Box Venezualan Nationalizations Under Chavez”, Fee.org”Venezualan Tragedy Shows Why Property Rights Matter”, New York Times” Chazez Seizes Assers of Oil Contractors. The list is very long.
It is Venezuela’s oil. When Chavez was elected in a landslide he determined that the oil, minerals and any other such assets belonged to the people of Venezuela, most of whom were very poor. The government stopped the western pillaging and used the value of their own resources to create a better life for the general public. You claim this is theft but they were stealing back what is rightfully their own. I could only wish other countries with such resources would do the same, but as we are now learning, most of us are non-essential.
Venezuela has been under this brutal attack because they took back what was theirs from those who were pillaging them, namely the western owned corporations. These fascist capitalists view all resources on earth to belong to them and if they are not handed over, they simply attempt to take them one way or another. As the master devil, John Bolton said regarding toppling the Maduro government and getting their own oil companies back in the country it would be good for America. https://crooksandliars.com/2019/01/john-bolton-says-ultimate-goal-venezuela
Just like Trump said regarding Syrian oil, yet another country they have invaded and destroyed “we are keeping the oil”. Like the thieving pirates they are.
Thank you Craig – you said for me what I was going to reply, saving me the trouble.
I guess this person would also say that Russia and Putin, in throwing the invading Yanks out of Russia and refusing to continue the “agreements” whereby America took the majority of the profits from Russian oil leaving Russia with 10c in the 1$, plus having to pay America one billion dollars annually for the privilege of being robbed, is also listed as “theft” by him and those who think like him.
I know there are others who think like this; I remember a decade back having a similar argument with an American who ran a site I submitted articles to; his contention was that, since American merchants had either finessed or strong-armed their way into the power leaders of any land, got sold concessions for private exploitation, and went and built oil wells, refineries, pipelines and other means of robbing the land of its wealth, meant that they owned it out and out, and to hell with the starving dying peasants of the land.
They took their chances when they thought they could use another human being as a source of income to that humans detriment. Thankfully some woke up to the realisation that the inherent wealth of any nation, it’s minerals, soil, land, water, fuels, belong to the ALL the people of that nation, and should be used to ensure their lives have at least modest dignity and comfort.
I say to Marcus – “to hell with your “Chavez stole from America”; he merely took back what had been stolen from Venezuela, and that is no theft at all”.
Ultimately, national assets must be defended by a strong military. Roughly 20 years ago, when Khodovorsky tried to sell the largest Russian oil company Yukos to Exxon and then run against Putin for the office of the Russian president, Putin decided to nationalize Yukos using an ingenious trick. He accused Khodovorsky of cheating on taxes. That turned out to be correct. The amount of past due taxes turned out to be so large, that Yukos had to be sold at public auction. There was only one bidder, namely the state owned Russian oil company Rosneft. Rosneft did not have the money to bid for Yukos. They got a loan from China to be repaid with future oil deliveries. The end result was: Yukos was back in the possession of the Russian state, past due taxes were collected and Khodovorsky was sentenced to 15 years in priison for tax evasion. Nobody in the west could criticize the nationalization of Yukos. Tax evasion is a serious crime in every country. So this particular case shows how a very clever politician (Putin) can renationalize important assets using the power of the law. That is one of the reasons why Putin is hated so much by all western politicians. He is smarter than all western politicians. But of course, ultimately, it is the power of the Russian armed forces which is an effective deterrent for any prospective invador of Russia. Putin can survive only because he is ultimately protected by the Russian defense forces. That was unfortunately, not the case with Ghadaffi or Maduro or Saddam Hussein. These countries are simply run over the US Army regardless what the law says.
Well said Craig. That is what Empire does to all countries it invades. It moves in, buys political figures and outright murders anyone who stands in the way of their thieving.
The problem is that the US is, on a per capita basis, the largest oil consumer in the world, yet the oil reserves of the US are not large enough in order to support this huge oil consumption. That explains why the US needs to secure oil fields in Syria and Iraq. The Venezuelan heavy oil deposits are among the largest in the world, but extracting these deposits is not easy – that is the main reason why Venezuela is so poor despite these huge heavy oil deposits. It very questionable whether Venezuela will be able to defend their oil fields from hungry US oil companies in the long run.
The internal combustion engine will be obsolete within the next twenty years.
The Tesla has no engine, no starter, no transmission/gearbox, no exhaust pipe, no catalytic converter, no gasoline tank, no fuel pump and no pollution controls. Its chassis is made from aluminum castings welded together by robots.
Through the first quarter of this year, the Tesla Model 3 was California’s best selling vehicle. CNET reports:
Data from the California New Car Dealers Association released last week shows the Model 3 sold 18,856 units through March 31 of this year. The figure is greater than any rival car, and even trumps mass-market cars and crossovers. The car to come closest was the Honda Civic with 18,001 units sold in the same time period. The Toyota Camry (17,871 units), RAV4 (17,261) and Corolla (15,575) round out the top five cars through Q1 in California. The CNCDA categorizes the Model 3 in the “near luxury” category, which has it compete with cars like the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In its respective segment, the electric car blew rivals away. The 3 Series sits in second place with 3,437 units sold to the Model 3’s 18,856. The Lexus ES (2,703 units), C-Class (2,199) and Audi A4 (1,099 units) fill in the final results, and it’s clear, Californians dig their Teslas.
I also trust the Jew York Times version of the ‘truth’ and am frequently laughed at for using them as a referrence.
It is known as “sovereign risk”, Marcus.
RISK is the situation where the outcome has a degree of uncertainty. The US domiciled operators BET that the government would remain compliant with their wishes (probably because of bribes paid or other inducements put forward) and when Chavez got power those arrangements were rendered null and void, (perhaps because those capable of ensuring they continued had fled to the US by exercising their rights as previously agreed to or because they were incarcerated awaiting trial on corruption charges.) The RISK amplified and they were now on the loosing side of the equation.
Stiff sh.t.
You were requested to provide some details or links to a reliable source, and you have been unable to provide even one (only some loosy quotes that seem like newspaper title; other than vague, not even reliable sources).
I never heard of any confiscations under Chavez government; so if you have any proof, please provide it (it’s your claim so it is on your side to provide proof).
Or maybe you simply ignore what a “nationalization” is ?
It is not a “theft” nor a confiscation either. It is a transfer of rights from foreign hands into national ones (most often, but not necessarily, public ownership).
The transfer is forcible, yes, but it is done with compensation.
A law was made that limited foreign ownership in the oil industry to 49%; so the ones having a higher share had to sell their extra share, at market price, and they were bought by the State.
The main reason of that law wasn’t so much about the “ownership” or where the benefits wer egoing, but about the control of decisions.
Simply, the Venezuelan people decided, in their majority, that it was not acceptable that the decisions about the resources on their underground, could be made by foreigners.
This distinguished specimen Marcus Chapman will gladly tell us that Chávez betrayed Venezuela almost immediately after his first inauguration as President in 1998. Back then, Venezuela was utter hell for the vast majority of her citizenry, and one thing which Chávez committed himself to in particular was provisioning of public healthcare. At first, he and his government tried — in vain — to persuade Venezuela’s very reactionary medical community to participate for the benefit of the entire country, but that was completely anathema to aforesaid community. Like: ”Why waste your time on truly difficult cases not backed up by solid bank accounts when you can fleece wealthy people requesting plastic surgery or a treatment for their tennis elbow?”.
Chávez got their message all right and turned to the Cubans instead. It turned out to be a fabulous success, and one might have thought that now everybody would be happy. The vast majority which was entirely used to callous neglect from the State and the doctors got utmost professional treatment for free while Venezuela’s own medical community was spared ”the great unwashed”. But now it gets really interesting. As a deliberate act of showing their really evil class hatred, the well-to-do started making angry noises about ”high treason” and ”communist subversion” demanding ”Cubans out of Venezuela” and ”Down with Chávez”.
Thieving Americans’ oil and committing treason by inviting the Cubans to offer medical assistance to people who need it the most. Marcus Chapman has a perfect case against Venezuela.
Theft is a two way street and no matter who is the thief, it is wrong. The world is full of theives and there are plenty in America.
”Theft is a two way street and no matter who is the thief, it is wrong.”
Well, i’d say that while Oppressor nations do tend to rally around their most reputable thieves and gangsters, Oppressed nations tend to rally around national liberation. Here we have yet again a typical ”Earth-is-flat” Western outlook, trying to equate premeditated evil fuelled by corporate greed, hatred, and depravity to the needs of the oppressed to put an end to exploitation by foreign parasites.
Again: Imagine a global plebiscite with every single person at least 18 years of age being an eligible voter and where the question of the plebiscite is Which country and people in the world would be most welcome to get rid of?. I think the answer is obvious; hence settling this contrived dispute about thievery.
“Theft is a two-way street ”
What does that mean, pray tell?
It means exactly zero.
It is true nonsense.
Katherine
Oh Pamela don’t you know they all have our oil under their soil, if not that they should have all right aways reserved for our pipelines. The poppies and and other drugs our ours. They have no rights to our stuff that just happens to be on their soil.
I don’t know where you get your information. Oil industries were nationalized in 1976 under Carlos Pérez. That was 20 years before Chavez. The greatest crime, in the opinion of the US administration, was Chavez’ policy of developing programs aimed at helping the poor instead of padding the pockets of American CEO’s.
“Its a club, and you will never become a member” – Carlin
What they do, not what they say. The paradigm shift is here, oil just went negative a few weeks ago in the futures market, meaning you had to pay people to take it
Take Buffet who just sold all his ‘airline stock’, I concur it’s not coming back. The PTB just doesn’t want free mobility of the masses, they want the destinations to be free of people.
Thus in a sense agenda-21 is here
I think Gates “Medical Passport” will be another $25k USD gate that only the wealthy can obtain, thus there will be fewer resorts, and where there are resorts they will cater to the wealthy.
I agree the ‘lockdown’ is permanent. The new USA and for that matter “prison model’ is that everybody is a prisoner, and ‘shelter in place’ is just a nice word for home prison, and of course the cell-phone is the ankle-bracelet for now, but the coming ‘active chip’ will not only monitor everything, but also micro-dose and manufacture drugs for your body. Thus everybody can be ‘field programmed’ for any death or illness, depending up on your compliance.
The beauty of all this is nobody to blame, sure every can blame ‘them’, or some such ghost, or even Soros. But these things are a consensus by the ‘owners’, actually of sympathy, for there has always been plantation owners, house slaves, and field slaves. Now the house&field slaves are un-needed, they can be culled, or the good ones will be allowed to live and stay home.
In some sense this is all really, not unlike the “Matrix” movie, where reality for the majority is just what they’re told on TV and/or their facebook/youtube ‘feed’, not unlike a feeding tube.
I suspect a massive amount of people will suicide, which is probably why drugs are being legalized worldwide, thus again people will have a choice, to live as a prisoner of their ‘home’, or die a pleasant death, not unlike “Soylent Green” ( movie ), where people were told death was much happier than life.
The past 50 years post WW2 we had “JIT” ( Just in Time ), now that is being dismantled, and millions of farm animals slaughtered, and the food shelves to turn to rationing meat. Decisions have been made that ‘austerity’ is sweeter than ‘plenty’. Go figure, like Carlin said long ago “When the elite get tired of the fake nice world, they’ll drop the curtain, and all you will see is a wall in the back of the stage”, we’re now to that point.
There are new owners, and they have no desire to continue the charade. Political Correctness has come to an end, and ‘domination’ is the new reality. Whose dictator runs the best ‘killing field’ or ‘Purge’ will be seen as the most respected leaders.
why would riots against the corrupt US system are a bad thing, even if they are “financed by Soros”? The more problems the US has, the better for the rest of the world. Riots, civil war in USA? Why would that be a “bad thing”? Best news ever! The world will welcome it.
It’s very interesting to me that so many people on this site who constantly condemn the Anglozionist empire and the US generally are also skeptical and negative toward the riots (which are a reflection of a citizenry fed up with their government).
Interesting yes, but most on sites like this are more than capable of nuance.
Yes the rioters are pissed off, but as a farmer I can easily get a mob of animals to stampede, and I can also, if so minded, control when and where that stampede happens. With humans it is far easier, because the media trigger is in the hands of those doing the controlling.
Why were pallets of bricks dotted around cities prior to the riots??? Hmmmm.
Every USA cop that hits a USA civilian was trained in Israel by the IDF.
Now rap your head around that
Chauvin of Minn was trained in Israel
Ferguson’s police were trained in Israel, they killed Michael Brown, like they would kill any Palestinian rock thrower
…
So let’s see ANZ owns the DEM&PUG party’s, and Trump, the ANZ runs ADL, SPLC, and all the BLM & anti-fa
So the ANZ has their cops piss off people, so that the ‘right-wing’ kill call in more Israel trained police.
Now why nobody talk about this? Cuz we got owners
A major shift in thinking by the elite is here, which is why the resources are not being used, in the past +3 weeks the oil had to go somewhere.
Nobody on earth can store, nor wants oil, thus even for the USA its a good thing that its being dumped in Venezuela.
The global lockdown was a good test, now the elite know the weak-points, so the next lockdown can be fine tuned.
One thing is certain, its not coming back, the huge use of oil is not coming back,
Most likely the PTB ( real power, the owners ) are helping Venezuela ‘lockdown’ sending the needed energy to help lock-down their people, as this requires energy, like fuel to power generators to keep the electricity flowing to people can be entertained at home in lock-down.
The pandemic did one thing, very strategic, it got everybody on earth on tune to the same drummer. Now even NK, Iran, and Venezuela and all the other ‘bad-actors’ are on cue to follow the ‘plandemic’, why one might ask?
Because if you don’t play along, then the elite of your country will not get their ‘virus passport’ ( only for elite ), now every country has their rich, and they want freedom for themselves, and slavery for their chattel. The best human livestock is kept home ‘shelter in place’, unless needed.
Slavery is here, entertainment such as this venue is just part of the matrix.
The world is using way too much oil. Not only are unique assets depleted and wasted, but the pollution caused by burning all this oil has scary impacts on the climate. For that reason, the drop in oil consumption has to be welcomed. Common people should not drive cars and should not take any flights. This is all a huge waste. The wealth enjoyed during the past 70 years turned out to be a big illusion. It was unsustainable. So it had to end.
Iran has just struck an amazingly shrewd blow against the US Emperor.
By daring the US to strike at civilian shipping in international waters while holding US ships ransom in the Gulf, Iran demonstrated the weakness of the Imperial Powers.
Just by staying alive through decades of US aggression, Iran would have won the war of attrition, but unmasking the Emperor’s nakedness for the world is surely a YUUUGE political victory.
I look forward to more Iranian chess moves against the carnival barkers of Washington.
I’m not so sure that “Trump and the Patriots” are the undisputed cure against “Soros and the Socialists”. But the depiction of the video in the link is alarming. It’s another Soros (and allies) led color revolution, in the US (and probably elsewhere). All so he can use his ill-gotten betting chips to increase his stack.
It’s the betting chips which are at the root of the problem. When we say “Overall Venezuelan assets confiscated – or more accurately described as stolen – in the US and overseas are estimated at about 50 to 70 billion dollars.” Multiply that by 100 when quoting the “dollar value” of gold.
It is the fiat dollar system which is at the root of this evil. The world worships it’s “debt as wealth” betrayal too willingly. The dollar system makes the wrong kind of people powerful, and that power corrupts absolutely. When will people understand this?
Gold, as an agnostic form of money, can never be used to “bail itself out” or intrinsically transfer wealth to it’s issuing class. I have written about it for years, and will write about it no more. Greed and the lure of easy wealth (like the Antifa organizer who got “rich” by creating his protester recruitment pyramid scheme) probably made $50,000.00 – a fortune for him, but crumbs that fall to the floor of the ruling class.
The world waits for understanding.
When I was a kid it was easy to get rich, you just show up and do-it
Now I don’t for the life of me see any opportunity anywhere ( Ok, I agree a trade guy in the right market can make $$$ )
What I see is kids taking off their clothes doing ‘selfie porn’ and then hoping it becomes viral
Like your anti-fa guy who got $50k, we know chicken feed, but that’s where we’re at, this guy is rich in the faux internet world of 15-min fame, and ‘riches’;
There is no anti-fa leader, this guy just created a website and networked people and collected the nickels, this is how grifters make it in the post google/amazon world
Only, 0.00000000000000001% of humanity can get a ‘real job’ at google/amazon, you know where you get free sushi, and can nap in your office on your ‘Soy Milk Mattress’; Everybody else now must find a hustle, not unlike this site, and Saker asking for donations, …. its all the same, its how people feed themselves in this NWO
…
Soros vs Trump (Zuckerberg) is just Billionaires ANZ fighting over spoils, there is right-wing & left-wing Zio’s, so called neo-con, and neo-lib, but they all worship the same god
Trump profits from riots, that Soros funds, to quote the “Joker”, Trump makes Soros “Complete”
In a real world red-pill reality there is no binary, just neo-con & neo-lib, the reality is ALL is NEO, aka ZIO, aka ANZ
Thanks Peter
You forgot to mention the illegal occupation of Syrian territory and stealing its oil all under the eyes of the united nation as well as the NATO forces of Turkey. All illegal .
There is no UN that can help any nation unless it leave New York as its center and stay free of NATO and the US control
We should never forget state of Israel , occupying and seizing territory with the help of the empire.
I hope one day we see the empire down in the gutters unable to feed its people or have a power to do what has been doing for centuries
This is perhaps the shortest article I’ve ever read from Mr. Koenig. I do enjoy and mostly agree with what he presents. I appreciate his optimistic tone in this piece even though I don’t share it with him. I wish I could.
Of course, these riots now spreading throughout western countries are all funded and manipulated by the Soros team, along the lines of their colour revolution formula. They only need a few hirelings who can recruit those who don’t have much going on in their lives. But the people are so propagandized that they become polarized, us or them. They don’t see the worldwide economic system in place, controlled by a few which is enslaving them, nor that the political class who are supposed to be working for their good don’t because they are owned by the ruling power that runs the financial system. It would take years to reverse the mind which has been engineered into society.
I wish someone could explain to me why there has to be one currency, controlled and weaponized by one government serving as a world reserve currency? It is as clear as the morning sun that this financial system is in place to enslave the world and pillage countries for their resources. In this world, most people are expendable or not needed at all. I don’t know how this can be fixed.
“I don’t know how this can be fixed.”
Executions of the rentier class and their usefull idiots is the only way i can see.
Chavez tried to be nice and see where that left Venezuela.
I know it sounds insane, but is the lives of a few 100 thousand really more worth then the 7 billion other lives on earth?
I am not so sure i value their lives more than the rest of us getting trapped in a neo-feudal/fascist soceity as slave labour.
Alas there is no leaders in the west willing to lead the masses, yet the wheel of time will grind on and our children and grand children will pay a heavy price for us cowardly accepting usury at home and terror wars abroad.
”I don’t know how this can be fixed.”
With regard to the swine and scum at BoE and their coercion of Venezuela, I humbly suggest: Nuke the City!. 300 years of plunder and murder of the global South is enough.
Think I will wait for more proof as to who or if anybody is behind the riots.some will say its so and so who’s behind them but they may have an agenda too,They said Soros was behind the coup in the Ukraine but it turns out that that was not the case for its failed to meet the mold of Soros.Been in a few demonstration funded by no one just people who sought to see justice done, but the first thing you hear is that it is funded by this one or that one, simply propaganda to try to divide the mass’s
The US dollar is a privatized currency created by private banks out of thin air as interest bearing debt.
That is why the US Treasury is in debt to the tune of $24 trillion to the private sector.
The Chinese government creates its own domestic currency, the yuan, debt free. That is how its economy is expanding at over 6% per year, and why China is ringed by US military bases.
I love, love this quote that I just picked up over at the http://www.ourfiniteworld blog…
“Many of the problems that mankind currently has could be solved with a completely different kind of money. And as God promises in the Bible texts, we would then have him on our side. With rich harvests and peace in the country. And with justice between people.
That’s why I’m a fan of God, even more a supporter of God.
One does not have to be a believer for the following solution. Reason is enough.”
I know the Saker doesn’t like this moving between blogs but I hope this gets posted as the commentator “frankly step-by-step” has some very interesting things to say. I just don’t have enough knowledge to properly get across the same thesis as him here. Should visit and read his 2 posts highly important and relevant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

What I don’t understand: How can ANY nation be so stupid to deposit its gold reserves in London or New York!?
What I have observed it is nothing but an invitation to have them stolen.
According to reports officials of the Bundesbank where denied access to the New York vault to officially inspect Germani’s deposit. The reason: the gold was not there. According to reports the same has happened in London. Here it turned out to be quality issues. The German ingots were of substandard quality.
Today a gold vault is empty, until proven full.
