China, Russia and Iran are the top three existential “threats” to the U.S., according to the National Security Strategy. Three features distinguish the top three. They are all sovereign powers. They are under varying degrees of sanctions. And they are the top three nodes of the 21st century’s most important, evolving geopolitical process: Eurasia integration.
What do the three sovereigns see when they examine the dystopia that took over Exceptionalistan?
They see, once again, three – discombobulated – nodes in conflict: the post-historic Pacific and Atlantic coasts; the South – a sort of expanded Dixieland; and the Midwest – what would be the American heartland.
The hyper-modern Pacific-Atlantic nodes congregate high-tech and finance, profit from Pentagon techno-breakthroughs and benefit from the “America rules the waves” ethos that guarantees the global primacy of the U.S. dollar.
The rest of America is largely considered by the Pacific-Atlantic as just a collection of flyover states: the South – which regards itself as the real, authentic America; and the Midwest, largely disciplined and quite practical-minded, squeezed ideologically between the littoral powerhouses and the South.
Superstructure, tough, is key: no matter what happens, whatever the fractures, this remains an Empire, where only a tiny elite, a de facto plutocratic oligarchy, rules.
It would be too schematic, even though essentially correct, to assert that in the presidential election, invisible campaigner Joe Biden represented the Pacific-Atlantic nodes, and Trump represented the whole South. Assuming the election was not fraudulent – and that remains a big “if” – the Midwest eventually swung based on three issues.
- Trump, as much as he relied on a sanctions juggernaut, could not bring back manufacturing jobs home.
- He could not reduce the military footprint across the Greater Middle East. 3. And, before Covid-19, he could not bring down immigration.
Everything that lies ahead points to the irreconcilable – pitting the absolute majority that voted Dem in the Atlantic-Pacific nodes versus the South and a deeply divided Midwest. As much as Biden-Harris is bound to isolate the South even more, their prospects of “pacifying” the Midwest are less than zero.
Whose ground control?
Beyond the raucous altercations on whether the presidential election was fraudulent, these are the key factual points.
- A series of rules in mostly swing states were changed, through courts, bypassing state legislatures, without transparence, before the election, paving the way to facilitate fraud schemes.
- Biden was de facto coronated by AP, Google and Twitter even before the final, official result, and weeks before the electoral college vote this past Monday.
- Every serious, professional audit to determine whether all received and tabulated votes were valid was de facto squashed.
In any Global South latitude where the empire did “interfere” in local elections, color revolution-style, this set of facts would be regarded by scores of imperial officials, in a relentless propaganda blitz, as evidence of a coup.
On the recent Supreme Court ruling, a Deep State intel source told me, “the Supreme Court did not like to see half the country rioting against them, and preferred the decision be made by each state in the House of Representatives. That is the only way to handle this without jeopardizing the union. Even prominent Democrats I know realize that the fix took place. The error was to steal too many votes. This grand theft indicts the whole system, that has always been corrupt.”
Dangers abound. On the propaganda front, for instance, far right nationalists are absolutely convinced that U.S. media can be brought to heel only by occupying the six main offices of the top conglomerates, plus Facebook, Google and Twitter: then you’d have full control of the U.S. propaganda mill.
Another Deep State source, now retired, adds that, “the U.S. Army does not want to intervene as their soldiers may not obey orders.
Many of these far right nationalists were officers in the armed forces. They know where the nuclear missiles and bombers are. There are many in sympathy with them as the U.S. falls apart in lockdowns.”
Meanwhile, Hunter Biden’s dodgy dealings simply will not be made to vanish from public scrutiny. He’s under four different federal investigations. The recent subpoena amounts to a very serious case pointing to a putative crime family. It’s been conveniently forgotten that Joe Biden bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations that he forced Ukraine’s chief prosecutor Viktor Shokin to be fired exactly when he was investigating corruption by Burisma’s founder.
Of course, a massive army of shills will always invoke another army of omniscient and oh so impartial “fact checkers” to hammer the same message: “This is Trump’s version. Courts have said clearly all the evidence is baseless.”
District Attorney William Barr is now out of the picture (see his letter of resignation). Barr is a notorious Daddy Bush asset since the old days – and that means classic Deep State. Barr knew about all federal investigations on Hunter Biden dating back to 2018, covering potential money laundering and bribery.
And still, as the Wall Street Journal delightfully put it, he “worked to avoid their public disclosure during the heated election campaign”.
A devastating report (Dems: a Republican attack report) has shown how the Biden family was connected to a vast financial network with multiple foreign ramifications.
Then there’s Barr not even daring to say there was enough reason for the Department of Justice to engage in a far-reaching investigation into voting fraud, finally putting to rest all “baseless” conspiracy theories.
Move on. Nothing to see here. Even if an evidence pile-up featured, among other instances, ballot stuffing, backdated ballots, statistical improbabilities, electronic machine tampering, software back doors, affidavits from poll workers, not to mention the by now legendary stopping the vote in the dead of night, with subsequent, huge batches of votes miraculously switching from Trump to Biden.
Once again an omniscient army of oh so impartial “fact checkers” will say everything is baseless.
A perverse blowback
A perverse form of blowback is already in effect as informed global citizens may now see, crystal clear, the astonishing depth and reach of Deep State power – the ultimate decider of what happens next in Dystopia Central.
Both options are dire.
- The election stands, even if considered fraudulent by nearly half of U.S. public opinion. To quote that peerless existentialist, The Dude, there’s no rug tying the room together anymore.
- Was the election to be somehow overturned before January 20, the Deep State would go Shock and Awe to finish the job.
In either case, The Deplorables will become The Ungovernables.
It gets worse. A possible implosion of the union – with internal convulsions leading to a paroxysm of violence – may even be coupled with an external explosion, as in a miscalculated imperial adventure.
For the Three Sovereigns – Russia, China and Iran – as well as the overwhelming majority of the Global South, the conclusion is inescapable: if the current, sorry spectacle is the best Western liberal “democracy” has to offer, it definitely does not need any enemies or “threats”.
“China, Russia and Iran are the top three existential “threats” to the U.S., according to the National Security Strategy.”
An illustration of misrepresenting hope with “strategy” by conflating hope with “strategy”, since from “We the people hold these truths to be self-evident” “The United States of America” has been/ is an existential threat to “The United States of America”, given “The United States of America” are social relations not restricted to a political geographical construct north of Mexico, south of Canada plus Alaska and Hawaii.
Since the “west” is posed in an almost spherical context, getting lost through never arriving is continually achieved, with or without the accompanyment of – Beyond the blue horizon.
OlyaPola
You have mastered gibberish.
Studying your comments which have returned to the VIneyard like winter ice is a journey through a broken diffusion filter, a Harrison 9.
Which have ‘returned to the Vineyard like winter ice…’ LOL :0)
Can we run some quality Russian vodka (Magadanskaya, now I’m thirsty!) through that Winter ice?
To Lorchmonter 445: I made a similar post some time ago. It was not published. Perhaps because it approached OlyaPola comments from a more satirical angle in that his posts were in the manner of a instructor lecturing some students on how their minds should consider, in essence, their limitations of understanding. Furthermore I offered an example of a painting of mine where 8 famous pre 1900 artists were considering an abstract painting of Picasso hoping Olya might get the point.
http://ablindeye.com/advanced/paintings/tptchfull.jpg
Alas … satire was not the way.
“You have mastered gibberish.”
Thank you for your catalysed reaction in illustration of the iterated practice of the “Roman Empire” where others not immersed in “Roman culture” and “Latin language/logic” were deemed to be barbarians (a term derived from the perception that the “uncultured” practiced creating sounds of bar, bar, bar, to be rendered by others similarly engaged in “slave trading” as gibberish, as a consequence of the “studying” of the self-designated “cultured”.)
Thank you for your continued co-operation.
OlyaPola,
. . . in a nutshell.
One hopes the self evident manipulation of results, which happens all over other countries on most elections btw, would be enough to trigger some kind of enough is enough scenario.
One feels that trump was somehow caught misguard, even after severe warnings of what was coming. Many inner circle seem to have pulled the rug under his feet.
And now we assist like a wrestling match, to a ridiculous show, knowing everything was rigged. Was the show enough? Or otoh, enough is enough and something very obvious is done. Exempli Gratia marshall law if necessary and proper elections, with identity validation and full transparency and accountability of the whole voting process, but in particular urns, votes, counting, tabulation, identity validation of MANUAL votes. (whatever you put in a pc, there will always be a way to hack into it, which will be non trivial to detect).
Unless anyone, or at least really random, jury like, people are allowed to seriously supervise all steps of the process, any election will confirm the oldie “it matters not who people cast votes for, for what matters is who counts the votes”.
As a non USAan, i’m relegated to see the tragicomedy/farse from afar, but cannot help but suggest USAns put your house in order before messing elsewhere, as methinks this can be one of the last chances average USAns get to say and do something about it.
The clouds and shakles of a dystopian future lurk in the horizon.
Wishing you all wishes of all the love, clarity of mind and strenght possible. Qualities which will be in high demand for the near, unpredictable as always, but surely dramatic, future.
I remember during a TV interview with Trump in the run up to the 2016 election, he simply shrugged his shoulders when the journo pointed out that the red tie he was wearing was made in a Trump-owned factory in China!
Anyone can see that after 40 years of investment in cheap labour in China, manufacturing is not returning to the West in the foreseeable future.
On the Mexico wall, well, successive US goverments including Trump´s have failed to take the very obvious step of making employers legally responsible for verifying work permits.
In other words, these were empty election promises, just for show.
Pepe does not offer any evidence of (un-named) far right groups aiming to take over the “US propaganda mill”. I mean, seriously?
And from my interactions with conservative US Americans, (though it has been 10 years since) I cannot imagine them in armed uprising, because, well, they are too conservative for that. Who would they shoot anyway?
Trumpistans have no one to attack. Their “Civil disobedience” is the stoic silence for they are “patriots out to save the Republic” and they would rather with distaste stomach coup plotters hoping to get rid of them next time. Problem is, if such a Trump clear landslide win can be stolen How the hell will American votes matter?
On the other if some court has guts and sense of justice to do the right thing and annul Biden fraudulent “win” or maybe by Miracle Congress does the right thing and vote Trump for 2nd term, Then ANTIFA, BLM, CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS, etc would descend on cities and burn them to the ground all the while mainslime media giving them maximum coverage for “peaceful protests to fight Hitler/Fascism..”
NB: If Escobar is right that Supreme Court actually decided not to get involved because Justices are Afraid of protests and violence then they are unfit to be sitting in that Court. This is an unprecedented occurrence that will define US for decades to come. Already by shirking its responsibility majority of Republicans now view SC as just another captured institution. The only recourse then for aggrieved party is to take arms! Or just accept to be servitude of the other side.
What Escobar wrote is a lot more nuanced than that :
“On the recent Supreme Court ruling, a Deep State intel source told me, “the Supreme Court did not like to see half the country rioting against them, and preferred the decision be made by each state in the House of Representatives. That is the only way to handle this without jeopardizing the union.”
It has, according to the anonymous source, three parts … none of which is equivalent to “Justices are Afraid of protests and violence”. The second is probably the most, and perhaps the only truely, important : “preferred the decision be made by each state in the House of Representatives”, which is where the american Constitution firmly places it.
Indeed, I am surprised that anybody claims to be surprised. Amy Coney Barrett stated clearly, that she reads the Constitution as it is written, and she believes it must not be “interpretted” to suit the whims of popular opinion. If I remember correctly, most of the current Justices have shared similar opinions.
Although, I must admit, I am also surprised by the numbers of ostensibly intelligent people who appear to claim that a Justice must obey the political party which nominated her.
Otter, it amazes me how irrelevant and feckless that statement by Barrett is; i.e., to read the Constitution as written. The meat of it is when situations present themselves that are outside the language of the Constitution.
Pepe
I don’t often find fault, but this is totally erroneous:
“It would be too schematic, even though essentially correct, to assert that in the presidential election, invisible campaigner Joe Biden represented the Pacific-Atlantic nodes, and Trump represented the whole South. Assuming the election was not fraudulent – and that remains a big “if” – the Midwest eventually swung based on three issues.
“Trump, as much as he relied on a sanctions juggernaut, could not bring back manufacturing jobs home.
He could not reduce the military footprint across the Greater Middle East. 3. And, before Covid-19, he could not bring down immigration.”
My response:
Trump had a tidal wave landslide by all measures. Top of the Ticket coattails for Congressional and Senate seats, State Legislatures and Governorships. Republican even penetrated the solid Blue of California for 4 Congressional seats and several state offices.
He was more than the South’s candidate. The Fraud of the election is a prism bending the Truth. He won everywhere he had to, and was stolen from everywhere he had to win.
Joe Biden’s results are the Mirror Opposite result of Trump’s results. Joe did poorly atop the ticker nearly everywhere except where the vote was fraudulent. Dems lost big everywhere they didn’t steal votes from Trump and give votes to Biden.
The military footprint is reduced in the ME. Iraq and Syria are much less than when Trump took office. And his power political moves with the Arab nations puts the US at far lower risk and need for troops on the ground. The Arabs have Israel with them against Iran now. The geopolitics of the Persian Gulf is completely different because of Trump’s efforts.
Immigration? 400 miles of wall has made a huge difference. 27,000 Mexican soldiers on the US border and Guatemala border have made a huge difference. Trump’s policies have worked. The job market showed it. The rising wages for Blacks, Latinos and Asians showed it. Covid has caused the economic problems, yet the strength of the economy is still there. 2021 will be a good year economically.
Back to Pepe’s number 1. Trump in three years created 500,000 new manufacturing jobs. Flows of capital from other nations pouring into the manufacturing sector as Made in USA is coming back to life. So, this and his opportunity zones are working. He didn’t lose votes over this.
The Election is a Fraud. Overwhelming evidence. As clear as the exploding head of JFK wasn’t from a lone assassin, much less Lee Harvey Oswald shooting from the rear.
I completely agree with Larchmonter and would add that regardless of the danger that US Army soldiers might not obey orders, the alternative — allowing this stolen election to put the criminal cartel in the White House — poses an existential threat not only to the US but the rest of the world. The absolute corruption of all the branches of government makes it clear that the Republic and the Constitution will be utterly destroyed if this stolen election stands.
For an eloquent explanation of why I think this is the case, see the Burning Platform website, part 1 and 2 of “A Time to Heel — or Fight”. https://www.theburningplatform.com/2020/12/13/time-to-heel-2/ and https://www.theburningplatform.com/2020/12/14/time-to-heel-or-fight/
We’re in agreement with Perimeter and to a lesser extent, Larchmontor.
Manufacturing jobs did “not” return to the US. There is very little “manufacturing” going on in the US, since MOST of those jobs were shipped years ago to China, parts of Asia, Romania, and elsewhere. Huge tax savings for the US Oligarchs.
While the 2020 Election was fraudulent, it all fits into what’s most important to American, Europeans, alike:
The Great Reset. It has other terms, but essentially, ALL Power shall further reside in the hands of US/EU Multi-Billionaires.
Their intentions will destroy whole societies with scarcity of food, jobs, and digitized currency to be used as a kind of “social card” restricting one’s access to their money should they protest in any form against these folks like Karl Scwab, Bill Gates, Big Tech, Big Banks, etc, etc.
The question is, how is this Reset” going to fit into the World’s powerful “South” including Russia?
The US remains an Empire as long as they control air, land, sea operations that keeps feeding the Western Oligarchs.
Some years ago I took a trip to Dealey Plaza in Dallas to try to figure out the JFK assassination. It seemed obvious to me that the headshot that killed Kennedy came from the front of the Presidential Limousine, that scattered his brains over the trunk lid.
I was living in England then and I was deeply shocked and dismayed. I recall exactly where I was at the time, just coming out of the Gaumont movie theatre on New Street in Birmingham.
Kapricorn4, see the videos “The Men Who Killed Kennedy”, particularly episode 6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obJ3hkPKUX8&t=3s and episode 9 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgNfQYpS1gQ. also the book “Trauma Room 1: The JFK Medical Coverup Exposed” written by a surgeon, Dr. Crenshaw, who treated JFK in the Dallas Memorial Hospital, describes the head wound with the back of JFK’s head blown off (official Bethesda Naval Hospital autopsy photos were doctored). https://www.amazon.com/Trauma-Room-One-Medical-Coverup/dp/1931044309
It’s sad to see so many smart, good-faith people in this semi-awakened state where they’re still putting in some amount of trust in The System.
To recap:
1. Trump appointed all the Trusted System Actors to his cabinet – Barr, Mnuchin etc
2. Trump didn’t do anything for 4 years except talk s**t on Twitter and not starting any wars (except for dangerous provocations with Syria and Iran)
3. Trump seemed desperate in trying to suck up to the Israelis
4. Witnessing what’s going on with Epstein/Maxwell, the Israeli Deep State Services are untouchable. Trump certainly knows that.
5. Trump is a used car salesman, TV celebrity, semi-failed businessman
Looking at all of this, Trump was never ever going to do anything for the people. The main gripe The System had with him that he wasn’t 100% controllable (more like 80-90%) and unlike e.g. Obama he was unpalatable to the polite society. So he had to be removed from the Figurehead CEO position of The System so that a corrupt nobody, such as Biden, can carry on with The System without causing any problems.
The elections, in no shape or form, represent the will of the people – it’s all obviously a scam. So now they may have had to resort to vote stuffing. So what? The System was always above any checks and balances, it’s just that it’s becoming more transparent.
And now, finally the worst part – nothing will change because most Americans are fast asleep. Once in a while they will get all upset (for valid reasons) but then the BLMs / Tea Parties will subvert and redirect the anger to something which does not threaten the System.
As usual the arm chair quarterbacks and cynics offer ZERO solutions…other than suggesting joining them and feeling smug about………….ZERO solutions.
Now THAT is sad.
On the other hand, Trump is not yet done…and you are too blinded by your negativity to comprehend that he HAS set up THE biggest sting of THE biggest criminals in US History by organizing a Red Wave Landslide that forced them to be so brazen and sloppy………….that they are likely trapped…..BUSTED!
Which I fully understand Parabolic…………………….would promptly cause your BS ego to curve downward asymptotically ….approximating the Y Axis.
But before that happens, briefly consider:
How was that Red Tsunami even possible with fake news and fake polls still brainwashing @ 30% of the people…instead of 90%….in usual elections…before Annoying Orange Man came along??
It was MADE possible by DJT rousing enough sleepy Americans from their slumber to finally comprehend that their Idiot Boxes had made them very, very stupid…for decades and that their “trusted “News” was Fake.
That accomplishment is actually….apart from Putin saving Russia …..which might actually be a simpler task …..in the very top of ANY accomplishments in shifting consciousness that has occurred on this planet in the last 4-5 years.
And you, who have very likely done nothing of any substance in this last 4 ………………or 40 years…blithely toss that in the trash as “nothing” while in effect promoting the “invincibility” of a “system” you haven’t a single clue as to how to tackle.
Utterly ridiculous.
Now THAT is sad.
Particularly because this fight is just starting….and you are on the wrong side of it.
@Bro 93
There is a solution – keep a low profile and do nothing. You’re delusional if you think you can fight The System with the current mindset of Americans. I watch the so-called Left and the so-called Right and most of them are pretty clueless – they fight and hate each other much more than The System.
A much more sane approach would be to simply ride it out until it collapses on its own, or better yet just move the hell out of it to a less screwed up country.
I wanted Biden to win as I beleive that three particular considerations are paramount for the US to come to its senses.
1. Education or nowdays referred to as ‘trans gender equity studies’ There is no future in this either economically or scientifically. The belief that as AI and machines take over and therefore we must find something for us humans to occupy ourselves. That we have reached the end of scientific innovation is a fallacy. The Chinese don’t think so.
2. Economics: that the Chinese have developed a system of computerised money transfer from basic shopping to international commerce without the US dollar. The dollars future is in peril.
3. The undue influence of Israel on the US foreign policy of the and the huge sums of money spent in the Middle east and elsewhere. The Holocast finished years ago. Generational guilt is distracting US policy makers.
In all these instances Biden administration is more likely to promote such and therefore the demise of the failed state is more immediate. That will allow the reconstruction to begin much sooner and a reconstruction, as all understand, is inevitable.
This is a Road Runner Moment for the US.
The entire nation is hanging in mid air above a deep canyon, with no solid ground beneath its feet.
The next move is downwards.
America as a lovely idea is dead.
Trump’s obviously painful four years has revealed the astonishing evil in the nation’s governing machinery: the deep state is ungovernable.
If that is his only achievement, whether inadvertently or by design, he would have done a huge favour for all US citizens and the rest of the world.
Meanwhile, the deep state grinds on, labelling those whom they would destroy as ‘threats’ that need to be ‘contained’.
George Orwell did warn us.
“Inadvertently”, I’d say. Yet most will continue to blame the rot on him, and refuse to see that he was mere a glaring light thrown onto pre-existing ugliness.
No. It was by design. He knew what he had to do before he appied for the job. Do not underestimate this man.
Deep State have decided that Trump has to go. And that’s it.
Everything else is just a circus
The is only one Business Party in the US political race. It always wins.
They simply change the A & B team jokey colors as required to maintain the public illusion of a free and democratic society at work. The more accurate framing is of a corporation (founded on the British East India Company model — check the original flag similarities) running a plantation with a serf/slave workforce earning plastic tokens for the company store. As long as the $USD petro-dollar backed by military racketeering survives then it is a free ‘print all you want’ lunch for those that count (at the top).
Trump’s novelty act was running out of steam. The popular vote was basically 50:50. There are no meaningful differences in major policy settings between the alternatives. The other bunch of lunch stealing criminals wanted some cake and offered the ‘funders’ a slightly better pay-back deal. The numbers were fixed where it mattered and the gullible mass crowds (and their media mind-ers) pre-trained on the ‘9/11’ BS blindness were bewildered yet again by 101-level propaganda. Business as usual, basically.
But meanwhile the stock market keeps going upwards to infinity and beyond,
Where is the money coming from to fund this ponzi scheme ?
Straight from the Fed, of course.
Thats why a company like doordash is now worth billions of dollar, a company with no assests except simple software.
I repeat, NO ASSETS, worth billions of dollars.
Makes sense now. Thank you!
The show must go on :-)
As if voting made any difference about anything in the US.
Interesting times never go away!
Firstly I cannot see why Russia is a threat to the US at all as these days they are in the same boat under attack by EU elites and should be allies. They also have similar outlooks and goals domestically. The average American and Russian are not much different in terms of wants and needs.
Regarding AG Barr, there are matters you are unaware of with him and the DOJ that have occurred.
The fallout from all the media filtering of the events this year (the omissions and deceptions) will result in those mainstream ones losing mkt coverage $ and ability to influence people – even Fox has lost audience since calling a Biden win in election night. If GOP voters stop watching them (as is happening) their use will be at an end and they will go insolvent.
The writers noting SCOTUS response shows it is failing to do it job and means it needs reform. I suspect Trump may soon rescind the 3 appointments he made. That will create problems for McConnell as Biden would have to replace them.
And yes most of the US will be ungovernable by the Dems and Biden.
The Union will fall apart unless the true election result happens.
The risks are far greater for the GOP than the Dems.
The GOP risks being replaced by the Trump Party.
The Dems only risk disappointment and 4 years more of Trump but not internal implosion but the voting fraud may take out the DNC (which is a good thing). But there is limited risk of their (crazy) support base leaving to the extent the GOP will.
What you will see if Biden etc if installed is him issuing orders and policies and GOP States and GOP leaning federal employees (military particularly) ignoring them, saying no we won’t co-operate, citing the fact he wasnt validly elected as the justification.
Its a pity that the same situation wasnt going on in UK with Scotland, N Ireland and Wales and then they wouldnt have been involved in trying to take out Trump with false dossiers etc… But thats coming. You may see it in Canada too when the western provinces tell Trudeau to go jump.
The real truth of all of this is America has been on the divide for the past 50 years and perhaps it is time to split the country into 2 separate countries who can proceed the way they want ?
Just as USSR and Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia split up.
The GOP and Dems will have to decide whether they want that or not, but trying to keep the leaking ship afloat remaining as one union will be impossible as things stand at the moment.
You can blame the Obama, the Clintons and the Democrats for all plus the RINO Republicans.
Remember what Lincoln said in 1863 – “A House divided against itself cannot stand”.
One of the sanest clearest comments.
All these cynics eager for more shaden-freude are not in their right minds.
They are doing exactly what Klaus, The Royals and ALL their minions desire.
I still predict they will be sorely disappointed.
Those of us who live in the intermountain west are quietly planning for a dissolution of the union. We have nothing in common with the costal states except the south coast. We know that we will only be weakened by hoping that cheating will not happen again and again. We hear the call to arms by Col. Allen West and General Flynn. We will pray to God for guidance and strength and offer up our lives as in 1775. Fear this, for we are coming.
Per usual, many in the comments are fixated on a moralistic battle of good (Trump) and evil (Biden) in attempt to make some sense of the world. This is a coping mechanism that forgoes addressing the incredible multitude of long-overdue changes in American society. Both Trump and Biden and their respective parties of opportunists in tow are, figuratively, dinosaurs of the 2nd millennium.
The Constitution of the United States is pathetically expired. Great changes are coming, and grifters like Trump is just as confused as any of us.
Jurgen, how do you think “Great changes are coming”? I would argue at least with Trump there is much hope of change despite his usual organisational chaos way of doing things. Bit with Biden Bidet there is simply no hope of any change. If anything deep State and its Swamps creatures will set out to seal all routes that can produce another Trump.
And Trump being in the White House has actually redpilled lots of people because the Swamp tried too hard to get rid of Trump thereby exposing themselves. Started with Russia Russia Russia collusion and went on to other stuffs and finally to openly and unashamedly rigging elections.
A central change will be the collapse of the US dollar as primary global reserve currency. The slip has been happening for decades and will only accelerate as the rotting of the American system breeds liability.
What does this mean for America? The grand illusion that America is prosperous due to high domestic productivity will be shattered. The American Dream has really been to “become the slave master”, whether those slaves are “white”, “black”, or 5000 miles away and totally invisible to the exploiter due to the “invisible hand of the market”.
With the death of the USD is the death of the “American Dream”. Indeed, they are one and the same according to Ayn Rand. The preponderant power that Washington once had–being able to unilaterally punish anyone on the globe with sanctions, or buy them off if they are corruptible (including their own military forces), will evaporate. “Third World” nations are already rising up and kicking out the naked imperialists. They will demand actually fair trade; consequently the QoL of Western imperial nations will drop sharply, as many goods can no longer be secured at criminal discounts.
These corrupt, obese & stupid aristocrats of Washington, from Biden to Trump, are terrified of what is coming. They are not your saviors. Indeed, no savior could possibly come out of that incestuous rats’ nest that is DC.
John Le Carre passed away today.
He exposed Tony Blair and his criminal cabal to start the Iraq war under false pretenses.

Finally a sane comment amongst a sea of delusion.
Barr has been replaced (as forecast months ago) by Jeff Rosen, a specialist in foreign interference; Deputy AT Richard Donoghue served a military prosecutor. It points to the scenario where Trump & Co. agree to use Ex.Order of 2018 if SCOTUS is not the way to go (Sidney Powell is also close to military and not civil legal matters).
We can expect military to play a role and possible military tribunals for those accused of treason (on two accounts of the present coup and the SpyGate coup).
That’s just the problem Kapricorn, the money is not “coming from” anywhere, it’s being printed- ex nihilo- out of nothing and nowhere.
All US money is created as debt by private banks in the US monetary system of fractional reserve banking, such that no debts = no money.
The privately owned central bank – the federal reserve – sets the interbank lending rate, so that favored borrowers get the lowest rates that are presumably being used to boost stock prices. Corporations are also buying back their own stock, so that CEOs can cash in their options at a good profit,
The problem is that for this system to work, more money must be continually created also as debt in order to pay the interest. This is why the US Treasury debt now totals $26 trillion on which approx $750 billion in interest must be paid to the private sector every year and student loan debt is now $2.3 trillion. One third of graduates are in default.
By contrast the Chinese government has no private bank debt, since it creates its domestic currency – the yuan- using its government owned central bank.
Do you remember when Paul Volcker raised the interbank lending rate to 20%
The Federal Reserve board led by Volcker raised the federal funds rate, which had averaged 11.2% in 1979, to a peak of 20% in June 1981. The prime rate rose to 21.5% in 1981 as well, which helped lead to the 1980–1982 recession, in which the national unemployment rate rose to over 10%.
“not “coming from” anywhere”
Coming from is a derivative of agency, sole/prime agency being an illusion upon which the opponents seek to rely.
All “money” is a function of interaction.

Thank you for a very sharp analysis again, Pepe.
Let’s see this from an unexpected bright side. We can now definitely bury an old joke:
Q: Why is there not a color revolution in the USA?
A: It only happens in countries that have a US Embassy.
Where this ends? Hard to tell, I have such a feeling that Trump will at last not go full throttle, while someone has whispered something in his ear. Something about ‘accidents’. It may concern his family as well.
Cheers, Rob
“I have such a feeling that Trump will at last not go full throttle, while someone has whispered something in his ear. Something about ‘accidents’. It may concern his family as well.”
If this is the case (and not arguing that it is not), then the best course for Trump would be to publicize any usch threats immediately via Twitter, a presser, and any other means of communication that he can think of. Before Twitter silences him.
Comment on a somewhat minor point. I’d be cautious about discussing these ‘white nationalists’ that the Guardian and their gentrified brethren are always telling us about. They’re out there, but where exactly? I think this is mainly a phenomena of the net. It’s the latest form of identity politics. They remind me of feminists. The first thing these folks want to tell us is how they were victimised by .. oh, cultural marxists, feminists, cancel culturalists, BLM, and now it’s China evidently. Now according to the editors of the Guardian et.al. the Trump electorate is a reaction on the part of ‘White Nationalists’. ‘White Nationalism’ is a wonderfully synthetic conception, elastic enough to cover not only the dreaded ‘racism’ but as well let’s add a generous helping of sexism, homophobia, and just plain old fascism. What would the woke media do without White Nationalists? If they didn’t exist they’d have to be invented. But this is the point, of course. Now I take the view that the backbone of Trump’s electorate is actually conservatism. People who want to conserve the republic in particular. Conservatism presents the spook managed media with a problem because conservatism is a political position that liberals must debate with. But we know that debate is not what these folks are about. Their business is propaganda and what works best in that wise is to frame everything as a struggle between the forces of light vs the spectre of darkness. Hence the insistence on ‘racism, sexism, homowhatever, and a topping of dark brown fascism. ‘White nationalism’ is the perfect stalking horse for the woke warriors. In Nietzschean terms it’s ‘reactive’ and therefore full of embarrassing self consciousness and thus doomed to failure. Against reactive is active. Conservatism is active because it’s essentially positive and has no particular use for enemies in defining itself. Conservatives like their country, their communities, kinship customs and patriotism, lots of them believe in Jesus, and stand respectfully at attention when the Star Spangled Banner is played at the Nascar races they go to. Is this anything to do with blacks, women, kinky sex or Hitler stuff? Nah. It’s about muscle cars and hot dogs. Women (suitably attired in tight fitting tee shirts) are more than welcomed. There’s another angle to this. It’s becoming increasingly clear that lots of …. women, blacks, latinos, and Asians lean to conservative views as well and do not read the Guardian or vote for people who are committed to defunding the police. Every day these folks drive past the boarded up and sometimes burned out small business in the cities and towns where they live and have to put up with politically sanctioned riots. And while we’re on the subject I think this stuff is much more important to voting Americans then the botched covid response that the managed media are always telling us about. Touch the earth.
Just wanted to say. Otherwise the basic drift from deplorables to ungovernables strikes me as right on the mark, as usual. Keep em coming.
the top existentrial threats to the USA Regime may be China, Russia and Iran. But, funnily enough, the top existential threat to the people of the USA is the USA Regime.

“not “coming from” anywhere”
Coming from is a derivative of agency, sole/prime agency being an illusion upon which the opponents seek to rely.

Pepe has some pluses, some minuses. He paints an interesting way to view the whole picture, but at the same time he makes assertions about some of the details (e.g., election fraud) without evidence – something he accuses in others. I enjoy reading some of it and think about the implications, then file it away, in the hope that more discussion will prove how wrongly or rightly Pepe’s pictures are.
‘China, Russia and Iran are the top three existential “threats” to the U.S., according to the National Security Strategy.’
Whosoever compiled, edited and audited this ‘strategy’ before sign off is obviously certifiably insane.
1. Name the time in the past 50 years when either China, Russia or Iran have carried out military/terrorist attacks on the US mainland.
In order to be an existential threat, there must be intent. I challenge the sane world to show that no politicians in Moscow, Tehran nor Beijing have had any intention since 2000 of carrying out any military engagement threatening the very existence of the USA.
2. Name the nations surrounding the USA where fully occupied military bases housing Russian, Chinese or Iranian troops exist.
After all, we know that the USA has military bases in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Germany, Poland to name a few pointing military might straight at Russia. They are now doing a similar thing surrounding China, albeit that is more difficult as a large part of China has borders with allies and thus naval blockade is more realistic. We know that nutcases in Washington DC have been jerking their rocks off fantasising about bombing the Iranian nation into the gutter.
So for those three countries to really be an existential threat to the USA, you would have to surmise that the levels of weaponry surrounding the USA to be as great as that surrounding Russia, China and Iran.
If it isn’t there, the USA nutcases are as usual projecting their own existential threats onto those nations whose existence they wish to destroy….
3. The final way to threaten the existence of the USA is to threaten its food and water supplies.
Do prove to me that China, Russia and/or Iran have been using weather warfare to destroy USA harvests the past decade. Do prove to me that nefarious agents have been poisoning the land in the USA to kill off crops, rather than letting the Americans pour so much fertiliser onto the soil that they deaden all ecology within the topsoil. Do prove to me that they are infecting US water supplies with lethal bacteria, parasites and radioactivity, rather than US corporations letting US groundwater get contaminated with all kinds of chemicals due to rampant freedom from all regulation within the US domestic economy?
All it takes is to supply the proof.
There’s no need to get angry at me.
When you prove things properly, I will tell Putin and Xi that they are finished. Not that they will listen to me, but they might listen to a few billion like me.
I just want to see this ‘overwhelming evidence’ that proves the guilt of Russia, China and Iran.
We all know what evidence underpinned Operation Shock N Awe, after all. The supposed evidence of Assad using chemical weapons. The evidence requiring Libya to be bombed into medieval times again.
Because of all that low quality evidence, no-one trusts US security strategists any more. Until proven otherwise, they are seen as psychopathic and pathological liars, demented narcissists and psychopaths completely incapable of realising that their tenuous links to empathetic common humanity disappeared the day they brought down the WTC towers to trigger wars they had no right to initiate….
So now we demand a higher level of proof.
Odd, that…..
