Education?
this is not about kids´ education but about all-pervading false ideology that rules all of us today.
Like a magic ring.
“One ring to rule them all… (and) to forever bind them” (Tolkien) –
what is this evil ring in our society? It is the shortsighted fear of temporary disadvantages on the levels of bank account and job contract expressed in the words about “future ruined”.
why, then, are people so shortsighted?
Because they do not believe any longer that it is God or Nature who give each of us a future, as all our ancestors justly and usefully did,
but they think it is Company X or Bank Y who give us a future.
this ideologem is taught to us and rubbed into us on a daily basis in TV, WWW, Press, anywhere.
Counter-information would be the only antidote, but where are the radio broadcasters, WWW sites, TV preachers… who will give it?
I repeat here some basics of the counter-education necessary for all of us.
1) Economy consists not only of the activities for which money is paid but it always has a non-monetary, instinctive base of work done for reasons of tradition, honor, religion, or just because it feels right to do it. Housewives´ work and domestic old-age care for example.
The broader this base is, the safer and easier is life for all of us;
on the contrary, when more and more of this base is conquered and swallowed up by the monetary sector, life gets more and more complicated and unsafe…
a fact which is not reflected by GDP growth or other measuring means on the monetary sector. One can see high growth rates while people´s life becomes a deep pit of miseries! Money lies!
Thus, if you do lots of work but only a little part of it is paid, for example if you are a housewife or a grandmother, do NOT feel in disadvantage, or humiliated, or whatever nonsense you may think about yourself after watching Mammon´s TV ads.
On the contrary, the more of your work lies in the nonmonetary sector, the more you are really doing fo our collective wellbeing, and the more chances you have for your own heart to remain innocent, for your person to remain uninvolved in the criminality which is always associated with money, the “Satan Mammon”!
If you keep this in mind and act accordingly, you do Active Resistance to what is the root of almost all wrongs today.
2) It is a big fat lie that life in past ages, pre-industrial ages, was so much harder and so much more disagreeable than life today.
People had their fears and problems and were subject to suppression and Willkür, OK, but not more than today but only in other ways and in other areas of life.
All that much-praised hightech civilization still is nothing more than a zero-sum game,
it made our lives neither easier nor happier,
only more complicated … and laden with more false hopes / fake dreams than ever before.
Even the dark Middle-age world view perhaps was more realistic!
Schoolkids, for example. A hundred years ago they feared the Teacher´s stick and that of the strict father. Today there are no more sticks in grown-ups´ hands to fear, but bullies and robbers on the schoolyards, with or without knives in hands (!), give the same amount of fear to our kids or even more, and they have to cope with it all alone in most cases, there is NO adult with a “weapon” in hand around to chase the bullies away! Remember, the Teacher´s stick wasnt only in use to beat up poor little ones who had forgotten their homework or said the wrong things, but it served also to stop violence and bullying in schoolyard and classroom. To give safety to the weak. This necessary help lacks today.
The weak who get bullied often are victimized themselves: “why do you ATTRACT bullies?”
What a criminal nonsense to even think such things about them!
Or take the kings and counts who ruled us.
They exploited us, and the priests acted as if this were God´s will and all OK, and people were more or less grumpy about both of them.
We are taught to think that everything is better now. False! Zero-sum game or worse, again!
Today´s counts and princes are the Big Companies. they rule much more of our daily lives than any prince or duke did in former times – because, no matter how much self-importance the respective Chief showed, his power was limited by the forces of Nature.
Daily life of normal people in former times, until the beginning of 20th Century at least, circulated more around Nature and Family and the circumstances in these areas than around anything related to Government and Chief. Old Russia had a proverb: “Sky is high, and the Czar is far.” Thats why life could be relatively good in old times, no matter how bad the current King did his job. Today, however, the sky hangs low above us, and the Czars invade everything and are everywhere, named Mars and Monsanto, BASF and GeneralMotors, Nestle and Microsoft. UGH!
3) We are told by current psychology that there is no such thing as an inborn human nature or a fixed instinctive human pattern, but that humans become what they are reared to be.
This is how “they above” try to reconcile us with a more and more un-natural daily life and a progressive alienation from the rest of Creation.
Another big fat lie.
See how small kids, toddlers, weep and cry for getting out of house into the sun when weather is fine! See how they grasp for fresh fruit, and spit out pungent or bitter things! See what games they play in the sandbox!
these behaviors ARE fixed, all toddlers have them. This shows that humans, too, have an inborn instinct pattern, as all mammals have,
and we also must have had a fixed, clear task in the big web of Biosphere, like other species… before we decided to forget this natural frame and to “become something better, Rulers of Earth”!
There, however, are some of us who think the right things. They decide to stand to their inborn instincts as long as those are harmless, innocent, towards their fellow humans; they allow only God´s Golden Rule to curb their instincts.
For example they think “I will not accept to wear shoes every day, I will go barefoot wherever I can, no matter what people say about how that looks.”
and they all endure more or less trouble for their decision, being regarded as wrong, defiant, non-realistic, and so on – although it is them who is right and the rest of the world is blockheads!
In these dissidents lies a glimpse of hope for a reversal of the Original Sin of Man,
which is not Sexuality or Idolatry or Disobedience,
but lies in the delusion to think that Homo Sapiens, not GOD, is Earth´s Lord!
Bible says we are made to garden God´s land, with our hands and with mechanical tools.
We are not Lords, but God´s employees, designed to make this beautiful planet more beautiful.
To be good employees for Him we must follow our innate patterns wherever God´s Law allows it. God made these patterns and He made them well!
Our current industry and economy system, however, counteracts almost all aspect of them.
It enforces upon us to live on canned foods, under arteficial light, fed (up) with fake TV shows, constantly operating machines but seldom having contact with animals or trees…
How can we even remember that we have been created as Gardeners of God in times where almost all the land is under the rule of harvesting and ploughing machines?
GIVE THE LAND BACK TO OUR HANDS! This would be the first BIG step back to normal.
False Idols?
Princess Diana used to go to the gym in the sports centre – opposite where I worked in Fulham …no one thought anything of it…there are a lot of such people in Fulham and Chelsea..its just kind of normal – and I am sure not that much has changed…
and yet some people on the internet are trying to make out that she never even really existed
but she just used to take her kids to the English National Ballet on The Southbank, at the same time as my wife and I did…
What a bunch of horrible people in Westminster..
Look You Work For Us – that is us British people Not US – USA.
Now stop farting around and trying to be influenced by The USA MAFIA.
Just Do What You are Told By us British People
Do Not Dare Defy Us…
Get Us Out Of The EU NOW
Do what You are TOLD.
God Save The Queen is on Planet Rock Now…
And She is Telling You What To Do Too
So get on with it – you useless slugs
WORK
Tony
slugs … well, those animals are a very good food for ducks and chicken, I gather them not only to remove them from my land but also for my neighbor´s chicken, which make excellent eggs out of the protein they give.
To make something valuable out of something useless is a central purpose of human life…
analogously to what the biblical God did when He, according to 1st chapter of Genesis, took a lump of clay and made out of it the shape of a human being, and blew His breath into it, and thus made it change into a living human. We have been made unto His image… also as to functions. Making something outa nothing, thats what this Deity does in the Genesis book, and thats what sane humans naturally do.
this principle is followed whenever I bring vermin and uprooted weeds to the chicken.
but how can we follow it as to those slugs You mean? We cannot, we must not, they are no slugs but “only” bad humans and where on Earth are the chicken big enough to swallow them up?
I think the best way to remove human slugs is: either fart them away or laugh them away (grrrin)
A thoughtful message which had the effect of a breeze of clean, fresh air.
It has given me cause to think.
Many Thanks.
Excellent points.
Reminds me of Michael Ende’s “Momo”.
Chapter 6, “The Timesaving Bank” :
“Life holds one great but quite commonplace mystery. Though shared by each of us and known to all, it seldom rates a second thought. That mystery, which most of us take for granted and never think twice about, is time.
Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem an eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it.
Time is life itself, and life resides in the human heart.
The men in gray knew this better than anyone. Nobody knew the value of an hour or a minute, or even of a single second, as well as they. They were experts on time just as leeches are experts on blood, and they acted accordingly.
They had designs on people’s time – long-term and well-laid plans of their own. What mattered most to them was that no one should become aware of their activities. They had surreptitiously installed themselves in the city. Now, step by step and day by day, they were secretly invading its inhabitants’ lives and taking them over.

freedom007,
Well, you’re a lady or a guy, has no matter, you are right.
Everything you wrote, I accept it, for this is also my sight
I can’t take or add to this, nor can write just more or less
You have done a good for us, and I wish you, God Bless !
I am a woman, from Germany, 52 yrs old, Homeopathist.
I bow to GOD ALL-MERCIFUL 33000 times for the Saker´s leaders having chosen my comment,
which I wrote all spontaneously, without any preparation, without corrections, in only one hour…
as the beginning of a whole Commenter´s blog!
Thanks, thanks again to God and them, with tears in my eyes!
I never, never expected to finally be honored that much in WWW.
I have been commenting in WWW under various nicknames ever since 2002, in English and German languages, and my aim always was to stress Common Sense agains stupidity and true respect of God and our planet against short-sighted idolatry…
In fact, WWW is full of my messages-in-a-bottle.
The only reason I have no web site and no blog is that I basically loathe all that computer stuff (when it became fashion to do everything by computing or on-line, it felt deeply eerie to me, like reading a Stephen King novel where Satan rules) and have no gift at all to handle it.
All I can do well is think and write, and so I did. For Truth.
Thank you for your written thoughts and know you are not alone in this. Strive on with diligence.
This is so beautiful…thank you.
I’ve spent my whole life as housewife and grandmother…raising children for free, for love. It has had challenges like little cash for luxuries. My husband was a musician.
Of all my family, which mostly have security and success, I seem to have money to give away most. Very odd…
I say the 23rd Psalm a lot.
GDP measures production that involves monetary transaction.
A bottle of wine sold in a winery included in the GDP. But if there is home production of wine, it is not included. Because of the non monetary home production,
economists would ignore that the people of a particular country/area produce and consume wine.
But in many traditional societies, there was significant home production and there was also extensive barter trade between the people that involved no money transactions. Wine for bread, olive oil for eggs, fish for fruits,
some construction work for food etc
I grew up in Athens , Greece while I spent every summer in the countryside. Until early 1990s, there was a sense of community and some traditional elements (as many residents came from the countryside). Crime was very minimal.
In the modern Athens there is minimal home production or barter. You have to buy almost everything from (multinational owned) supermarkets and stores that involves money transactions. Because of the economic crisis , lack of social welfare, and the break up of family connections, people with no money, no job could end up homeless. There are tens of thousands now , even though there were none in the past. Housewive’s work was significant (until early 1990s) but now most young women work and do not know even how to prepare a meal. No one knows their neighbors anymore, as many high rise buildings were built and too many newcomers came to live in the cities. Crime is rampant.
In some parts of the countryside, there was no electricity, TVs, cars or supermarkets up until the late 1970s – 1980s. People had minimal interaction with the government. Formal unemployment and (internal/external) emigration was very high. Healthcare was not available , you had to visit the cities. Illiteracy was widespread. People produced using their farm land and animals. Consumer products were very rare. As there were no stores or banks, barter was the main form of exchange. But there was a sense of community. There was no crime.
Technology and capitalism has now reached even to these remote lands.
Some old people still live in the old way, even though they now use money a lot more and watch a lot of TV.
As for the younger generations (in cities and the countryside ), they wear designer clothing and imitate what their fellow Americans do thanks to facebook, reality tv shows and the internet. Even though they are born and bred there, they have nothing in common with the traditional culture of these lands. They have no idea about how to cultivate the land. They spent their time in cafes and night clubs.
Because of globalization and technology, traditional ways of life have disappeared.
Nowadays, everywhere you go you could see sleeve tattoos , piercings and the same stupid haircuts. These trends are no specific to any country, it includes most countries of the world.
To see the future , one has to look at what good or bad happens in America. Elements such as crime, massive unemployment, drugs, ghettos, homelessness, illegal immigration, are now part of many countries.
It was unthinkable that life in many European countries would have ended up to resemble a caricature of USA. But is a sad reality now……
“It was unthinkable that life in many European countries would have ended up to resemble a caricature of USA” Not for everyone.
That US author … how was his name again? I forgot … who wrote the famous novel “The Caine Mutiny” during 1950s
foresaw it very clearly, but didnt realise the importance of his observation.
During WWII he had been a Navy officer. He had watched the conquest of some Pacific islands.
Before US conquest and bombing, the islands had a look of their own, indigenous.
After conquest, they looked “like U.S. suburbs in construction, caterpillar bulldozers all over”!
This is the words he chose in the Caine Mutiny novel
(which I would, NB, recommend to everyone to read, it is an excellent tool to learn how to resist to incompetent leaders in job, I did use it for this purpose with success).

What you wrote really interested me. You wrote things that I had been telling my friends for years. So I wrote a long response to you and then, just before I wanted to post, Iost it. So all I can say is I was in Greece in 1978, 1980,1983 and many times in the 90s. I was a hippy traveller back then and worked doing farm work in many small town and villages. Village life and the many beautiful Greek people I met fed my spirit at a time when I was young and quite lost. I recognised that this simple life, was the true life, where the family, then the community come first. That we place value in what sustains us and know the true importance of things and of people and don’t get them confused.
I want to write more but after losing my last comment I’m too angry. Ha, ha. I wished I could communicate with you directly as I wanted to share some stories. Maybe a moderator can give you my email address and you send me yours.

“I want to write more but after losing my last comment I’m too angry. ”
I think I know what you mean; it has happened to me a few times, and it is very frustrating indeed when you face the fact that we are subjected to technology, in fact we are becoming slaves to technology in a world where we are constantly conditioned to the new religion of consumerism, which is the very theme of Freedom007’s post. Isn’t it ironic that your rant was “censored” by the elements that you were censuring? We are creating the very thing that will destroy us.

“They had gone to the “movies.” […]
The feature film portrayed a brave young Yankee who conquered a South American republic. […] He changed nature itself. A mountain which had borne nothing but lilies and cedars and loafing clouds, was by his Hustle so inspirited, that it broke out in long wooden sheds, and piles of iron ore to be converted into steamers to carry iron ore to be converted into steamers to carry iron ore.”
“But a village in a country which is taking pains to become altogether standardized and pure, which aspires to succeed Victorian England as the chief mediocrity of the world, is no longer merely provincial, no longer downy and restful in its leaf-shadowed ignorance. It is a force seeking to dominate the earth, to drain the hills and sea of color, to set Dante at boosting Gopher Prairie, and to dress the high gods in Klassy Kollege Klothes. Sure of itself, it bullies other civilizations, as a traveling salesman in a brown derby conquers the wisdom of China and tacks advertisements of cigarettes over the arches for centuries dedicated to the saying of Confucius.
Such a society functions admirably in the large production of cheap automobiles, dollar watches, and safety razors. But it is not satisfied until the entire world also admits that the end and joyous purpose of living is to ride in flivvers, to make advertising-pictures of dollar watches, and in the twilight to sit talking not of love and courage but of the convenience of safety razors.”
Sinclair Lewis – “Main Street”
Lovely piece.
This is what so many of us are sensing right now. That we are rootless and unplugged from any meaningful connections. That a malign force is working in the background, robbing us of our life force and ability to preserve ourselves. We are told repeatedly we are wrong and chastised, condemned even, should we try to articulate anything resembling a protest or . We are herded into thought and expression enclosures and and are stung by shame and threat of penury should we stray out. We are put in our place. We’ve always been put in our place.
With nothing to pride ourselves in, nowhere to call our home we shrivel inside and fill the emptiness with things, then more things, but nothing of value or sustenance. With our communities ravaged first by industrialisation, then by de-industrialisation and our skills, dignity, confidence and self-respect eroded by welfarism and consumerism, we don’t know who we are anymore. We watch resentfully as strangers from other lands move in open shops, build places of worship and seemingly thrive while we struggle. But we don’t dare say anything, though we’d like to. We’d like to tell them about us, our history, that we aren’t scum or lesser beings to be disregarded, but it just comes out wrong. We’ve forgotten so much and anyway they don’t encourage us to tell our side of the story so we don’t think you’d be interested. All we know is we feel like we’re being crushed and we don’t like it.
So we voted out because we’re clutching at straws here. We want some of our pride back. We want hope. We want a future for OUR children and grandchildren here in England, our country. Most of us don’t normally bother to vote, it don’t change anything in our world. Things just seem to go from bad to worse. But this was about us and it felt like for the first time in our lives we actually had a say in it.
And Hallelujah, we won. We won a blue moon victory and then you pissed on our parade. That won’t be forgotten or forgiven.
This is the tale of Brexit where I come from in Essex.
I, a coward full of fear
who became a little bit courageous
only by the grace of God who gave me some good teachers
and the hardships of life enforcing learning to me,
deeply bow to all those
who still have the merest glimpse of civil courage today.
But I also call all them to develop more and even more courage –
voluntarily, before hardships come to enforce it,
because everything is learned more easily and with less risk for life
when approached by own free will,
also courage.
Think with your own brains. Look what lies before your eyes. Say what you mean and mean what you think. Be yourself!
Amen.
I live in a staged provocations world, where even the ability of the weather to behave freely, independently, is an issue. (Should the weather apologise too? But I digress.) The weather must be recruited then, and be kept strictly ‘on message’. The faithful participants recite (from memory) meaningful ‘statements’ – that word should be in all caps – on “granola bars”, ” apples”, “bananas”, ” plumbing “, ” birthday cake”, and so on. It delightfully never ends!!
As a non-recruit in all this, willing to risk living in a world with free and independent weather among other things, I move in a certain way now, accepting it’s all performance. To get my attention, actors stride boldly in front of my moving car, in a downpour, carrying significantly coloured umbrellas. That will show me. It shows me something all right, quite clearly.
And then, today, something actually happened. I think. I’ve spent the past half hour debating whether something actually happened or not. But I’m concluding that it did. I offended someone, legitimately, by stopping my car with the hazard lights, to drop something off in a building. I blocked her car just as she was leaving for work. I believe. Really annoying for her, understandably! I realised what freedom007 is talking about. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
Thank-you for your post freedom007. Your way of thinking gets us on the right track. It is interesting to consider that until Darwinism, it was commonly understood by people everywhere that the Creation was Divine. The mechanistic view of Darwinism has deprived us of looking at the world freely- with reverence and wonder. We are being brainwashed into believing random theories of evolution which compromise our ability to feel at one with the truth, beauty, and goodness inherent in the Creation. In separating ourselves from God, from Nature, and all that has been held as Divine for so long, we are now in danger of losing our humanity to false idols and false Gods that seek to possess us and lead us to believe we are little more than animalistic urges. This will lead us only to the grotesque as is evident everywhere now.
But this is not enough for many of us. Some of us do need to live from our innate sense of what it is to be a human being, to maintain our freedom to BE, holding aloft the light of truth, and continuing to work out of the love for a future renaissance as the interior of our heart informs us.
In faithfulness to our core of innate goodness, to the spark of the Divine that resides in our heart, we find a sense of connection to something much more noble and fruitful. We have an innate sense for Universal Evolution unfolding according to a Divine Ideal. This can be found only in the inner conscience of each individual. I do not see this happening on a mass scale just yet. We are in a great crisis. But testaments of antiquity as well as the Gospels when understood in the right light confirm our intuitions that this is so.
Quote from the Corpus Hermeticum- Hermes Trismegistus.
“For this thing is the strongest of all powers, the force of all forces, it moveth every subtle thing and doth penetrate every solid substance. Thus was the world created. It is the Father of all works of wonder throughout the whole world. Hence will marvelous adaptations be be achieved, and thou shall possess the glory of brightness and all obscurity will fly from thee.”
K
yes, Darwin was one of the unfortunate ones who gave foundations for the nonsensical society and ideology we live in today.
The much over-estimated pseudoscientist Sigmund Freud, a cocaine addict (yes, he was, provenly! everyone involved in psychology or medicine should read the book “Sigmund Freud – Niedergang und Ende der Psychoanalyse” written by the behaviorist Eysenck), whose only specialty was to find impurities in every heart and to conclude that impurity is our very core – all the rest of his doctrines have been there before and were not his own ideas – was another.
Other negativist moles that undermined Reason in our culture were Hegel, Feuerbach, Nietzsche.
Everyone knows them by name and acts as if he had read something of them, but no one boasts with having read Immanuel Kant, or Blaise Pascal, although both had more depth than the former.
One of the most tragic aspects of German Nazism was that they abused smaller points of view in which they were correct to support their central aims that were utterly negative. That was really, really devilish.
One of those points in which they were right, however, was the rejection of Freud and his scholars as underminers of human dignity.
I admit I´d like to publicly burn books of those charlatans, as in 1933, albeit for other reasons.
kinterra and freedom 007, this exchange between you two is so packed with meaning and power. I’m blown away by it. And thanks to the Mod for starting this conversation!
WHAMMM… Om Shakti!
Glad to hear your response s113! The icy tone of Vot tak’s comment says more than the words. This is an example of how the negation of Ideals is used to demean and ridicule the possibility for the human being to know herself through the implicit religion of life with all its wonders and miracles. Natural religion exists and fills the world and beings. Those who see with the eyes of the heart, who want to see, recognize Life as a testimony to the Presence of the Divine. As freedom007 has also indicated, the great danger of Darwinistic thinking, (or Freud etc) is that they bind us in a closed system. People think they have been educated and are intellectually superior. In reality, their thinking, and their whole life of soul, has been become a puppet of a schematic thought system that denies and negates the free sovereign spirit in the human being. The Darwinistic view point may have something to offer in terms of understanding a biological principle, but it describe the mysterious creative force that moves the world and speaks in vast myriad of forms from atom to Adam.
Don’t despair freedom0007. You are really not alone. There are others out here. Take refuge in the new work of Michael Martin- The Submerged Reality or the Heavenly Country. It is from here I took my quote in my last post. The books are filled with excerpts from the living tradition that speaks to the effective cause that set all in motion.
K
I am far from despairing, and I took Vots unqualified comment as a bad joke… and answered the more seriously, the more insolent his words were. Everyone can see, then, who is the Neanderthal. This is part of the eulenspiegel role I adopted long ago… I mean, during my last school years when I started to sense that our present system is not as benign, truthful and scientific as it appears.
In fact, it was then that I developed the core points of my world view… One central book for me was “food First: beyond the Myth of Scarcity” of J. collins and F. Morre Lappé. Still readable and viable!
As to my political stand-point I must say it is heterogeneous, but basically Leftist, not in the dumb way we know it today in the West but in the sense which this had in the 1970s and before, for righteous and original thinkers, like Collins and Lappé, like Hans Fallada the great German novel author of the 1920s – 1940s, or for the world-famous Nearing couple who were among the very first Socialists in USA, having begun their political work during 1920s. I got no aversion to foreigners, refugees, or the Islamic culture; I love to make use of the few morsels of Turkish I know when talking to Turkish patients; I shake my head about the new antisemitic babble in WWW, knowing that the idolatry of Mammon got no Elected People but is an ubiquitous disease; and as to homosexuality I dont understand why this variety of behavior is so much broadcasted today, as it is a private thing that should remain in the respective people´s own bedrooms. Moreover, the human sex drive, generally, hetero or homo or whatever, will always find its ways and is greedy enough by nature. It needs or deserves no advertising. To keep it back is better.

The land was 8000 square meters, so there always remained lots of them just the same; this was no misfortune, though, as I and Mom loved to eat their young shoots in Spring… the aim was not to eradicate but to control them.

Total nonsense. But very pindo right wing delusional indoctrinational thinking (IE: the ubiquitous pindo radio talkshow toss). Embarrassingly so. Like the propagandistic nick choice.
Also, I started reading the initial comment headlined by HS, but started dozing off and moved on. I come to this site to find alternative views, not the sort of neanderthalic toss one finds on pindo radio propaganda
sorry, I came to this conclusion about Darwin and Freud by myself,
by reading and thinking and self-observation and observation of the world around me,

And my nick choice has been made over ten years ago,
with no propagandistic aim in it at all, only programmatic,
and has to do with the simple fact that
I chose a secret name for meself when I was twenty years old and it was Freedom,
and the fact that I watch and draw my own conclusions and cooperate with this ideology and that
only to kick out what proved false and embrace what proves right,
with a licence to kill argumentatively and by my reaction what proves to be lies,
made me call meself 007.

Yes, the inability to suitably humor or entertain, engage, another – the ultimate offense these days.
The Holy PC Scriptures are from the left. (Or the”left” anyway)
The techno-elitist solemn supreme global diktat of every mind connected to a single all-knowing super-computer is from the left.
My reply was like that of a surviving Mohican to a modern educated human being… wasnt it? LOL
Freedom007 and s113 I had written a response to your comments which was not published. I am not sure why? Meanwhile I just watched the interview with Imran H. His perspective holds great wisdom.
I thank-you both for your responses to an earlier exchange.

Great reading here and I agree with most and am happy to see so much proof of sanity. But I disagree with what’s been said about Darwin. His ideas explain a lot and are definitely not incompatible with creation and nature.
Look at humans, in our modern society survival of the fittest no longer applies and hasn’t for quite a while and it shows, doesn’t it? What a sorry bunch we are.
It’s what society has done with Darwin’s ideas that suck…
Did martin make good on his threat to return?
:D
@ vot tak
Indeed, Martin is sorely missed. But you are capable of handling it alone. I think the prevailing view here is that any goodness in man comes from that spark emanated from God, without whom man becomes easy prey to Hegel, Marx, Darwin, Freud, Hitler, the Red Trinity (Lenin, Stalin, Mao) while the capitalist dogma is left free to raze mountains for profit.
Man can be good without God and man can be nasty with God. History is littered with men of God who did evil deeds. And I know the usual outcry of outraged believers that who does evil is not with God. The usual cop-out.
Kim
Hmm… what about the ‘the usual outcry’ about good and evil and God or not God? Is this not endlessly repeated? Sadly, you made a very small box for the rather large content of the previous posts. Such oversimplifications do eclipse the possibility for creative insight, and thinking together. We were discussing the propaganda and brainwashing of a Darwinistic closed circle that has been used as an agent of diminution, making a religion out of a mechanistic world conception, and fastening the human spirit to mere biological reproductive phenomena. Is it not exciting that others sense that biological growth could only be a reflection of something profoundly mysterious has animated all of existence? Perhaps biological growth and and spiritual evolution are but two aspects of one current? Give a little room for those of us who wish to be free to contemplate new possibilities and ponder outside of the fixed and repetitive dogmas of the religion of materialism.

“Perhaps biological growth and and spiritual evolution are but two aspects of one current”…
Hmmm, possibly it would be so simple if this Earth were only one living planet in Universe, which it most probably is not.
It is more complex, as on different Earths there would surely be different stages (or rather call them forms – technical progress is not a measure for wisdom) of evolution, and one humanoid population would be neanderthalic while another would be able to time-travel.
(NB I think some of our current UFOs to be time-traveling devices from the future of Earth itself, containing tourists who watch our barbaric past from the safe place of their “traveling-bus”)
What I think is that God Almighty Himself is able to learn, and eager to learn, the eagerness of our healthy kids to learn is only an image of His innovatory Spirit,
and that He, according to the words in Buddhism “May all beings be happy and pain-free”
is working at the biggest innovation that He ever tried
and He Himself is not sure if it will work.
He wishes to change the nature of Life itself in an important aspect.
Till now, the circle of life seems to necessarily require suffering, which seems to yield some kind of energy which propels its processes.
but the living beings which are suffering at a given moment can neither know nor accept nor even praise this mechanism,
they only suffer and cry and think why does this have to happen;
and as God senses all living beings
both from inside, what they feel themselves, and from the outside, what they effect in the world, He must have long enough and be SO fed up of this mechanism
that requires helpless ignorant victims.
The Kingdom of God prophesied bv the Scriptures would be,
if this hypothesis of mine be true,
a living world that thrives on other kinds of energy which we perhaps dont even know yet,
not on the energy given by helplessly suffering sentient beings.
When will God have effected his great innovation? Perhaps it will take milions of additional years, perhaps it will happen tomorrow… this is unimportant, as humans are so tiny, short-sighted and short-lived that we must have enough at the hope that this is altogether possible.
More important is that all of us are an active part of God´s learning process. Yes we are!
As He perceives and stores up all, really all of our thoughts and sensations,
He collects the informations He can make use of for building his new and happier kingdom.
and as we try to live happily and learn what is good for this and what not in our current lives,
we take part in God´s mega-experiment
not only as passive test tube bacteria,
and not as guinea pigs who have no influence on the running experiment whatsoever although they can feel and agree or object inside to what happens to them…
but as tiny co-experimentators.
Doesnt this idea,
which I never found anywhere in books, I thought it all meself,
give an enormous amount of dignity and importance to even the least of us?
Sapere aude, incipe!
Yes freedom 007, there are worlds of unknown things, and the times ask us to quest into the unknown- to humbly ponder vast possibilities and not contract into stagnant political and social systems that limit and imprison our capacity for free creative thinking. I am especially wary of ‘authors of systems’ that fetter our ability to imagine a Divine Source, and deny existence beyond the sense-perceptible world. If our way forward were to embrace harmlessness, compassion, love, and a seeking to serve, we would move in harmony with Universal Law. We have been too long led by the proud intellect that disregards the God-soul elements of the world to the point where it is unthinkable for many to humble themselves reverently before a majestic spirit-filled view of the Universe. It seems there are those who intentionally strive to sever us from the ever-evolving world of Divine creative being in favor of a mechanistic, trans-humanistic world view. Yet another part of humanity senses we are at a new crossroads. We are called now to keep pace with cosmic, spiritual evolution. This requires a willingness to dismantle the edifices that blind us to the Soul of the World. Undreamt possibilities could be revealed that would change our capacity to understand all aspects of life- God, planets, stars, human beings, animals, plants and even the stones. This can only happen if human beings are willing to dismantle forced intellectual edifices spawned from prideful arrogance and self-will. We need a form of humble gallantry based on an activism of the heart willing to be in service to something mightier than ourselves.
K
Well, we have been talking a lot about spirituality now but my primary intentions are directed to our material life. Spirituality is worth nothing if it doesnt help Mankind to thrive on Earth in spite of the manifold human irrationalities we know, and Earth to remain healthy “in spite of” a thriving Mankind!
But one word about why I came to spiritual research at all: When I was young I learned a Catholic dogma which teaches that God can only be believed in by the mind but not sensed or felt, and I was not contented with this; I thought “one must feel God too, otherwise one would be unhappy, the world would be cold with a God that leaves our feelings out of his range.”
Well, Catholics in fact do believe that God can be felt, why should they make so much use of organ music and incense if they did not? but whenever someone among them says he or she feels God, or has somehow met with Him or with an angel or a saint, the reactions will be quite adverse, incriminating every beginning mystic of having delusions, or of inventing things to have something to boast in public. Some priests even are dumb enough to insult a believer of this kind by sending him / her to Social Psychiatry, instead of supporting him / her in Faith… Why? Because the Catholic hierarchy has a monopoly on God, so to speak, and as Pharisees did, so they do: they kill their own prophets. Thats one of the reasons why I quit my Church. (NB I never had visions of spirits, deities or saints, and I am glad it is so, because I otherwise would be in danger of being put in an asylum… The way I felt or sensed God was not image-bound… OM!)
I want to have influence on daily life, I want to give counter-education to Consumist brainwash, thats my intention here. Thus, now, follows a second Counter-Education lesson:
“The Third Economic Way” – I think it does exist, and is practicable if we humans only wish it so.
At the age of eighteen, inspired by the above named book of J. Collins and F. Moore Lappé, I created the following sentences which should characterize a viable Third Way:
“Buying should only supplement self-producing or self-making.
Monetary economy should only supplement nonmonetary (subsistence) economy.
Industry should only supplement handicraft.”
I put those three sentences on the table in an Economy lesson at school, to be discussed. But all the teacher said was “this is wrong.” No discussion followed. From this day on I knew that our system, too, has an Ideology behind it and not just Reason, otherwise there would have been no discussion brake of this kind. My reaction was that I kept Silence in Economy lessons, thinking of something else or reading something below desk and not reacting anymore at all… until Abitur.
NOW I PUT THEM TO A DISCUSSION BOARD AGAIN… TO A REASONABLE ONE… HERE.
Please focus on the question of a Third Way in your responses now, readers.
Why a Third Way?
When I was a teen-ager I rejected Socialism, as it was an antitheist ideology which made peoples´ lives gray and listless. It could not be a solution to human problems – it was inhuman by nature.
But I also rejected (and reject) Consumist Capitalism as inhuman, for a reason I felt in daily life:
it demands of people to buy more than they need
and to make a waste of things in order to be socially accepted.
I felt that this is a shame. And it really is, folks!
If a society wants you to get along with some amount of want of material things,
this may be burdensome, but if you do get along, it means honor to your person – real honor. Every normal kid, may it be Russian, Chinese, German or American,
knows that it means honor to get along well with hardships or material want, it is like sports,
this is a part of our human instinct pattern, kids play with it when they act out the roles of “Red Indians” or of “Robinson Crusoe” or of soldiers.
A society, however, that demands of people for its Golden Calf of “economic growth” the kind of fattening we see today, acts against our inborn program and forces its members into shame. And into drugging… even the children… one quarter of U.S. schoolkids, MSM say, are on Ritalin!
I saw very early that
it takes only little money to fulfil one´s real needs,
as having functionally sufficient clothes, enough well-tasting and wholesome food, and one warm room in the house in winter
(yeah, it is unnecessary to heat the whole house except if babies or old-agers live in it…)
… and, moreover, that the things I valued much for fulfilling my needs
(for example a ragged pair of gloves to be used in stingy-nettle removal, the apples given by our trees, the cabbage I grew, the goose-eggs we used for making pancake, or my old Botany book)
almost all were seen as humble and cheap by the public – even as something to laugh at, ugh! –
while things were valued high by the public that, at least to me, were only burdensome… by having to care for them much too diligently, because of their high price (as it is with a new T.V. or new furniture) or because of lots of laws and preceptions involved in their use (as it is with cars).
This made me see something else which must be necessarily built into a viable Third Way:
the Real Value of an item is not identical with its price in dollar and dime;
in consumist capitalism rather often the price even contradicts the value,
nonsensical things being expensive and necessary ones cheap.
this alone shows clearly that our System which measures everything by money is a fallacy.
It also made me see that life has not really become easier in Machine Age as it is today.
Former hardships have been removed…
only to create new ones, which are alien to human instincts and thus hard to endure,
while the old ones, as cold feet, insect bites, or an empty stomach, things with which our mortal structure is well acquainted, are often easier to take than we think today!
And I saw, additionally,
that Machine Age could really have been helpful to Man,
and in some aspects it still is helpful,
but by wrong human decisions, and only by them, it has become a burden.
take the theme of clothing.
In European pre-industrial times, clothes were clumsy, uncomfortable, and it was a big piece of work to keep them usable; in fact, women spent a big part of their lives just by making and repairing clothing.
This has been made better by Industry.
Now we can buy comfortable, easy clothing which needs only little care and fits to both sexes.
And shoes without clumsy laces.
This is a case, see, in which the development of Industry really served Mankind…
but this good effect got nullified and reversed
by the above-named pressure to buy and buy and buy even more,
just to keep the big wheels turning!
Only those who refuse to follow this diktat, which is, in case of clothes, called “fashion”,
will still be able to enjoy the advantages of Industry…
i.e. to be grateful for the good it can give, for the real needs it helps fulfil.
if Machine Age only, finally, got off the trip of having to make people buy unnecessary things… if factories and their owners finally accept that they are Supplementers and nothing more, and that it is un-ethical to invoke greed in people to raise the sales… (STOP ADVERTISING!!!)
it would become a Golden Age.
Marxists today should look beyond Marx, turning their revolutionary activity to this direction!
But as Machine Age is today, it is no better than Babylon, lying to us that our life is sooo easy although almost no one feels this way, and constantly sacrificing human nature to Moloch Money.
I hope for a lively discussion here now. Not only with Kinterra.
