Chinese Rise and Threats in Afghanistan
China’s development has already attracted worldwide attentions in recent years. The growing economy of China and advancement on military buildup, are being heatedly debated around the world and especially in International community and particularly in china since china has opened up its door for reforms in 1978, moreover, China has attracted billions of investment from abroad and trillions of domestic nonpublic investment. A dozen years ago, China barely had mobile communication services. Now it claims more than 300 million mobile phone subscribers, more than any other nation. In June 2004 more than 300 million people had access to the Internet, China has risen over the past 30 years and it will continuously rise over the next 20 years. The three models can interpret the peaceful rise of China, the warlike “meeting the expectation of realists approach, where precipitating of great power war could happen” the second approach is different from warlike it can be called cold or negative peaceful rise “where the expectations meet at no great power war but environment of threat and suspicion” and third model which is very important can be called warm or positive peaceful rise “ a friendly environment where threat is low and can be called win-win situation mainly the liberalist point of view”. However peaceful rise of china could involve two ways process the rising power must accommodate itself with rules and structure of International society, although at some time other great powers accommodate some changes in those rules and structure by way of adopting a disposition of power and status.
The peaceful rise can be more simplified as united state of America replacing hegemon Britain without going into war with it during the power transition, rising America also was, and remains still, a highly interventionist power in relationship to Central and Latin America and in 2003 which intervened militarily in Iraq. What about the case of China? China began its own peaceful rise after having adopted the policy of economic reform at home while opening doors for the western countries in the late 1970s and early 1980s moreover as Zhang argues China puts its own economic development as top priority and deduced from that the need for stability in its International relations both regionally and internationally. The United state has significantly facilitated the role in the rise of China and created a benign environment because it made China both less threatening and more attractive economically to its neighbors and to the west. But China also benefited from generally more the benign international and regional security and economic environment following the end of cold war, more simply China can be called the Bank of America because in 2008 financial crisis China helped the US economically. Now the project of harmony based loosely on Confucian prescriptions about ‘all under one heaven’ (Tianxia) moreover, apart from the ideas project China has initiated OBOR which is entirely for peaceful purposes.
Terrorism as threat to peaceful rise
Terrorism and extremism is also a burden on China’s government, Afghanistan being a neighbor of China. it’s very much necessary for China to pay more attention to terrorist activities inside Afghanistan, the role of china in confronting terrorism is vital as both Afghanistan and China suffered hugely from the causes of terrorism and extremism, currently Afghan security forces is fighting an International terrorists forces at the same time ANSF are in front line with ETIM, and other regional terror group, Chinese help and security assistance in this regard is highly appreciated.
However, the OBOR project cannot be completed without a safe and secure Afghanistan as long as terrorism being a threat to regional countries none of the peaceful projects could be implemented easily, moreover the Sunni Uyghur militant groups near the Afghan-Pak border has claimed responsibility for small numbers of attack in China, the most predominately Sunni Uyghur group the East Turkistan Islamic movement which is based in porous region of Afghanistan and Pakistan claimed responsibility for several bombing in 2008, however, the authority denied the terrorist involvement and also for the attack in Kashgar in July 2011 that killed three dozen people.
A number of terrorists have also expressed and willingness to support ideologically the East Turkistan Islamic movement. In July 2014, Islamic state leader Abu Baker Al-Baghdadi said in his speech to rally for the global causes of Muslims “the Muslims rights are forcibly seized in China, India, and Palestine”. Also in 2013 Al-Qaeda leader, Ayman Al Zawahiri endorsed the right of militant to fight the Chinese in Xinjiang. With such development, Militant is on the rise in every part of the region especially Asia and particularly Afghanistan. A new ISIS video released on March 1 , which threaten the Chinese government and active presence of ISIS in Afghanistan is an alarming situation for China and the whole region.
Conclusion
However when put into perspective the ongoing insurgency in complex region of Asia, the rise of China seems very difficult as its neighbors are in much need of security cooperation with Beijing particularly, Afghanistan, a country which is extremely hit by terrorism and insurgency and could possible spillover to China’s Xinjiang province. Nevertheless China acts on security cooperation with its neighbors, it’s very much in the interest of China to extend its military and economic aid to its neighborhood if Beijing is willing to dominated Asia and root out terrorism and extremism causes from the region.
Moreover, since last three years Beijing has been slowly and gradually showing interest with Afghanistan in security relations, but for Kabul to acquire gunship helicopter and other heavy weaponry from Beijing still seems very much problematic concerns in the western countries and specially for USA.

I have just written an article which I hope you might find interesting. It is approx 3500 words long and covers a specific period in European history from the late 19th century to the present time. It is mainly concerned with politics, philosophy, economics, geopolitics and above all imperialism from the sturm und drang of the late 19th century to the present time; this is presented in a thematic as well as a linear form. It is difficult to summarise so you will need to read it.

I am a retired academic having gained my degrees at University of Oxford (New College) and the London School of Economics and Political Science. I have taught mostly in colleges, and once in the Civil Service, Home Office Immigration department. I am British and have lived in South London all my life except for the time away at Oxford. I am married to a Ukrainian lady (from Donetsk) where we (accidentally) left in 2012 just before the war started. I have written for various dissident publications including your own in basically the same subject area.

Anyway enough of the self-promotion. I guess, if I have got it right that I just have to post the article. Here we go.

The Telegraph today states that Russia has removed 10,000 soldiers from Ukrainian border in a sign of de-escalation… Is this correct? I wonder…

If that is true that the UK is putting up posters near the subway saying the only good Russian is a dead Russian, then they are another degraded Western fascist country. Does anyone see parallels with WW2 besides me? Or is this just a continuation of WW2? The end stage of capitalism is fascism and these are all advanced capitalist imperialist, morally decaying countries.
