Let’s begin by a short summary of events.
- About a month ago Nikki Haley announces to the UNSC that the USA is ready to violate the rules of this very self-same UNSC should a chemical attack happen in Syria
- Then the Russians announced that they have evidence that a chemical false flag is being prepared in Syria
- Then a chemical attack (supposedly) takes place (in a location surrounded and, basically, controlled by government forces!)
- The OPWC sends investigators (in spite of western powers loudly proclaiming that no investigation was needed)
- The AngloZionists then bomb Syria
- Next, the UNSC refuses to condemn the violation of its own rules and decisions
- Finally, the US Americans speak of a ‘perfect strike’
Now tell me – do you get a sense that this is over?
If you tell me that 32/103 is hardly perfect, I will reply that you are missing the point. In fact, if anything, 32/103 is further incentive to bomb again!
Let’s look at the differently for a second and ask this: what has the AngloZionist attack actually demonstrated?
- The western general public is so terminally zombified that false flag attacks can now be announced 4 weeks in advance
- The Europeans now live by the motto “my honor is called solidarity” (a variation of the SS motto “my honor is loyalty“)
- Lead by the USA, western countries have no objections to wars started in violation of their own national laws
- The UN Security Council has no objections to wars started in violation of the UN Charter and International Law
- The PRC leaders, in their infinite wisdom, act as if they have nothing personal at stake and act like bystanders
- The Israelis, via the UN Neocons, are now in total control of the Empire and use it to “clean house” next door
Oh, I hear the objections. They go something like this:
– But the attack was a dismal failure!
– So what? the Empire did not pay any price for executing it.
– But the US Americans did blink! The attacked from Jordanian airspace and from the Red Sea! They avoided the Russians completely! They are afraid of them!
– So what? They still bombed a Russian ally with total impunity.
– But, surely you are not suggesting that the Russians should have started a war against the USA over a strike which did not even kill a single person?
– No, of course not, but by not taking any action the Russians also failed to deter any future attacks.
– But what could the Russians have done?
Now *that* is the right question!
Let’s look at it a little closer. Roughly speaking, the Russians have a choice of 3 types of retaliatory measures: political, economic and military. However, each one of them has a specific set of prerequisites which are currently problematic to say the least:
Measures | Political | Economic | Military |
Prerequisites | Assumes a minimal amount of decency, integrity and respect for the rule of law by the rest of the planet. | Assumes that other countries, especially China, would be willing and able to support such measures. | Assumes that Russia has the military capability to defeat the AngloZionist “coalition”. |
Current reality | Russia can moan, bitch, complain, protest, appeal to higher values, logic or facts – nobody gives a damn. | The Chinese and the rest of them are not willing to do anything at this time to support Russia. | Russia can militarily defeat the AngloZionists, but only by risking the future of our planet. |
This really can be summarized a simple sentence: the AngloZionist Hegemony is a threat for the entire planet, but nobody besides Russia and Iran is willing to take it on. Ain’t that an irony!
The so-called “Christian West” has become a willing host for its Zionist parasite and the only ones with the courage and moral integrity to take it on are Orthodox Christians and Muslims! Sic transit gloria mundi indeed…
But what is even more important is this: while it is true that the US Neocons did not succeed in delivering the kind of massive attack they would have wanted to, and while it is true that the US attack was just about as lame as can be, you need to completely forget about these facts. Facts simply don’t matter. And neither does logic. All that matters are perceptions!
And the perception is that “we” (the AngloZionist rulers and their serfs) “kicked” Assad’s “ass” and that “we” will “do it again” if “we” feel like it. That is all that matters in the Empire of Illusions which the AngloZionist Hegemony has become.
As soon as you understand that, you also will have to agree that Trump was right: it was a “perfect strike” (again, not in reality, but in the world of illusions created around it).
So now we come full circle.
The AngloZionist Hegemony demands that the entire planet bows down and worships it. Except for Russia and Iran, everybody meekly goes down on their knees or, at most, meekly looks away. In their own delusional reality, the ‘Mericans feel empowered to smack down Russia or Iran at anytime. There is nothing Iran can do to stop them, and while Russia can, she can only do that at the risk of the future of our entire planet.
Now you tell me – do you really think this is over?
The Saker
Just as the partition of Yugoslovia and Serbia led eventually to the partition of the Ukraine, this attack on Syria on false pretenses will lead to attacks on US allies in the region. Russia will wait for an opportune moment and then take down a major US ally in the Middle East within a year or two.
I think the prime mover pressuring Trump is not Israel, but the British. British Steel dossier, British poisioning of Russian couple, British founded and funded white helmets. Muller was the lead investigator on Anthrax attacks which happened within days of him taking that position. Blamed Hatfill and got nowhere. Why? It seems likely using a smell test we are still dealing with the British-Saudi-Israel alignment from 9/11, but clearly the British have the lead role and the loudest lies as of the past year. Remember Tony Blair’s ‘sexed up’ dossier trying to frame Saddam Hussein for 9/11. In video below, see first question at the end Q & A and recap which follows. Basically, Israel has their hand in the pie but is not the primary force pushing Trump towards war with Russia.
Will Wertz latest briefing on Trump attack on Syria:
https://larouchepac.com/20180414/assads-chemical-weapons-another-british-fairy-tale
Yes, we still have deranged fools living on the fumes of long since vanished glory and bought loyaties. May they be exposed in all their pathetic nakedness, (all mouth and no trousers is the idiom) preferably before a war crimes tribunal.
@the prime mover pressuring Trump is not Israel,
This is rather irrelevant. UKUS, France are all the most devoted Shabbos goys.
You take out the Zionist by taking out their fiat money. Keep moving to gold as money.
Moving to gold or silver will collapse the Zionist pos. Using the military is stupid. They want that.
Politically lower taxes and government to about 17% of the GDP. This makes your political structure sustainable and competitive.
The faster Russia/China move to old or silver the faster you end the fiat empire.
Dear Saker
Normally I admire your writings. However this latest article doesn’t reach your normally very high standards of analysis. I fear the your emotional drain from witnessing these latest US exploits could be a factor, and hope there effects are only of a temporary nature.
“Perception are everything” you say and I agree that in the sandbox of western democracies this axiom tends to be true as perceptions shape elections and thus carrers.
However on the global chessboard this only holds true if perceptions also shape the actions of your most important friends and foes. And the perception of Trumps “perfect strike” doesn’t seem to change any of the fundamentals vis a vi the US dealings with Russia/China.
– Russia and not US are shaping the future of Syria while the emerging realignment in the ME around a security structure guaranteed by Russia grows ever stronger
– The PetroYuan challenge progress unabated and will eventually destroy the Petro$.
– Likewise the One Belt and One Road will eliminate the importance of the US Navy in controlling trade flows.
The Syria strike didn’t change anything on a strategic level and could therefore be considered a draw. However time is not the friend of the US. A draw is thus a victory against the debt-funded Hegemony raging and tumbling towards its own default.
Assuming that WWIII doesn’t erupt between now and then, I’ve been wondering what the excuse for staying in Syria will be when the last terrorist is killed. I experimented with thinking like a neocon and this is what I came up with: the US recognizes the “Syrian Democratic Forces” are the “legitimate” government of all of Syria, the new capital is Raqqa, and the Syrian army is now an insurgent group. It’s an idiotic idea loaded with terrible potential consequences, which suggests that they might just try it.
Since it has been the USA and its allies, such as the head-choppers with the KSA, that have created, armed and supplied the terrorists, they can guarantee that the there won’t ever be a case where the last terrorist was defeated. They can always buy more.
Quote: “The so-called “Christian West” has become a willing parasite for its Zionist host…”
I always thought it was we Christians who unwillingly play host for the political parasite?
Just an oversight?
It was initially unwilling, but now the body of the ‘Christian West’ is so thoroughly infected that it became willing.
I think Russia won the informational side of this. I think their point that they took out 71 shiny TLAMs with Soviet era defenses is devastating.
It may not be true – it could have been 13 missiles, and it could have been with Pantsirs, but because Russia said it, people will believe it. That is Russia’s edge: People very privately belive Russia. Maybe not every average Joe, but people in power probably do. The implications are massive: The USA can’t attack anybody conventionally any more: They can’t send troops because there is no public willingness to take losses. They can’t send planes because S-400s really do work. Now they can’t even send TLAMs over any country that has Soviet era defenses, provided Russia provides vigorous updated training.
That was my take on it anyway. When you speak the truth, people who matter, do listen, and do react, even if they don’t overtly acknowledge this, or cover it with a fake story to explain their actions. Russia has built up a lot of political capital by speaking truthfully, more-or-less, so much so that if they do ever actually lose something serious they could probably say they are winning and get away with it. Whereas, when the west speaks, people just continue flipping their burgers, you have more or less acknowledged this, I think, yourself.
Regards, Shyaku.
In US, politicians don’t salute each other with Good morning any more but :
” Today,fresh round of sanctions against Moscow ! ”
The dictionaries should be updated accordingly.
Never seen so much hate !
Chinese can’t fight. They don’t have strong heart for that. They only want money . if there’s no Russia , china would be in knees for long ago
PC Roberts is right putting blame for possible great war on Russia. Don’t blame Tramp but Putin. As long as he is in power the events are not going to improve but become more and more dangerous till will go out of control.i
The Great Satan is not stopping but press full speed ahead.
Mr. Roberts is completely wrong on Russia lately.
He claims that Russia trying to be reasonable diplomaticly is a huge mistake. There are three huge errors in this analysis.
1) He misreads completely the Russian position. He claims that Russia is betting the house on its ability to use reason and logic to change the USA. This is incorrect. Russia does find it preferable to be reasonable and diplomatic, but I don’t believe VVP or his government in any way is convinced that this will change the USA. Basically, PCR has become a broken record that is flat out wrong as he writes this same column day after day.
2) One huge mistake is to think this is all about the west and the USA. But what is happening is that Russia’s reasonableness and logic is convincing the rest of the world. No, not the American poodles in Europe and Israel, but the rest of the world that the west doesn’t consider to be the center of the universe. What you see is a slow movement towards Russia and away from the USA in a lot of places. Even in Europe. The contrast between Russia’s reasonableness and diplomacy and Trump’s insane tweets and evidence-free claims is slowly working to Russia’s advantage.
3) The most important piece on the board is China, and the sphere of influence that comes with them. The west has been pushing and prodding Russia and China closer together. And when the Chinese leadership sees that Russia is responding with reason and diplomacy, that only strengthens the relationship. During this entire time when the trolls are criticizing Putin for being reasonable, the Russia – China relations have grown stronger.
And, what’s the alternative? Apparently westerners who watch too much CNN and too many ganster movies expect Russia to act like a demented MMA fighter and rant and rave and make threats and send tweets about how they are so going to kick butt. What good would that accomplish? Nothing. Nothing at all.
But, I’d submit that Russia’s stance did just prevent WW3 this weekend. Two facts.
1) Russia’s firm statements about where they stood in Syria did deter the American military and ultimately Trump. The US military was scared to death that Russia would indeed strike back if Russians were harmed in the attack. Thus the US military refused to do what Trump wanted which was to attack Russian, Iranian and Hezballah in this attack. They are said to have been very afraid of what Russia would do in return, so instead they only blew up some former labs that everyone agrees were already dismantled. In other words, precisely because of the Russians stance, the US pulled their punch out of fear and all they really did was waste tens of millions of dollars of expensive missiles.
2) China was on full alert, with navy flotillas active in the South China Sea and Taiwan Straits. China had already flown a senior person to Moscow to hold a press conference where they firmly and clearly stated that they stood with Russia. The fact that China’s navy flotilla were at sea holding live fire exercises undoubtedly had some effect on Mad Dog and his decision that a more intense Syria strike was a mistake. The US military had to be looking around the world, and thinking, yes, we can do a serious strike in Syria. But if this ticks off a war we are vulnerable in a lot of other places, like Taiwan and Ukraine.
This comment is nonsense. Instead it is quite likely that precisely what the trolls criticize Putin for is the reason World War 3 didn’t erupt this weekend.
Saker’s in error about willingness…” a threat for the entire planet, but nobody besides Russia and Iran is willing to take it on.”. They are willing enough, simply without agency. No leadership. 100% surveillance. And any serious effort to change from within results in murder and so forth. Saker conflates will with ability.
In all other respects? I agree.
However the History of Empires shows that they are defeated by their own internal contradictions.
This results in mutinies.
Sun Tsu says: (http://suntzuart.com/sun-tzu-quotes and https://suntzusaid.com/book/2)
When you engage in actual fighting, if victory is long in coming, then men’s weapons will grow dull and their ardor will be damped. If you lay siege to a town, you will exhaust your strength. #
Again, if the campaign is protracted, the resources of the State will not be equal to the strain. #
Now, when your weapons are dulled, your ardor damped, your strength exhausted and your treasure spent, other chieftains will spring up to take advantage of your extremity. Then no man, however wise, will be able to avert the consequences that must ensue.
VVP is following the outline…T Man and his forces are not…
It is the countries under the J cosh (U.S., U.K., France) that did the bombing.
VVP says: Shortly after US Ambassador Nikki Haley revealed that Russia would be slapped with a third round of sanctions on Monday for “enabling the Syrian government’s use of chemical weapons in civil war,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said that further attacks on Syria by Western forces, “in violation of the U.N. Charter,” would send international relations into “chaos.”
Now then, what was the word in Russian? Accurate translation? https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-04-16/putin-warns-global-chaos-if-west-hits-syria-again
I wonder what he means by “chaos”…
Sounds to me like “chaos” means world war 3 gets really big when the failed attack is repeated, next time against AD sites.
Of course it will be repeated…
Saker : maybe you could do an article about this?
Its been said their trying to remove Russia from the security council of the UN. How realistic is this? I mean i thought it was set up to prevent this from happening. What would this take?
The plan is clear already from the textual analysis of the talking points of Mz May and the rest…an approximate re-run of what they did last time…
which violated the League procedures, rules, and Laws…just like this time, Comrade…but I too would like to hear Saker speak to the matter…

Expulsion of the USSR from the League of Nations
Council of the League of Nations, Resolution. December 14, 1939
THE COUNCIL,
Having taken cognizance of the resolution adopted by the Assembly on December 14th, 1939, regarding the appeal of the Finnish Government;
1. Associates itself with the condemnation by the Assembly of the action of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics against the Finnish State: and
2. For the reasons set forth in the resolution of the Assembly,
In virtue of Article 16, paragraph 4, of the Covenant
Finds that, by its act, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics has placed itself outside the League of Nations. It follows that the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics is no longer a Member of the League.

Some interesting additional information:
“Valuyev suggested that judging by the number of US, UK and French warships and aircraft deployed near Syria, they planned to use about 300 units of ammunition in a joint strike.
“They have used [just] a third of the total number of the missiles,” he concluded.
Pundit Jim Stone believes however that the attack was supposed to last much longer, but stopped suddenly when Russian fighter aircraft became airborne.
“I am going to stick with my assessment that something big was going to happen that caused the US to stop the attack,” says Stone.”
““So it would have been ominous to watch them [the missiles] vanish, And then suddenly, Russian planes were in the air, preparing to attack.”

Hi there the Saker,
To answer your question, no this is far from over.
For this once I would like to play the advocate of the devil so to say. I surely am not a great analist so maybe what I am thinking is bs and I would love to see this blogs collective IQ to dispell this line of thinking.
The main actors in Syria are Hezbollah, that has the heat turned on to it in Libabnon, Iran, well you know the heat they face, ofcourse Russia, no need to talk about the Ukraine and to a lesser degree China in the South Chinese sea and ofcourse a trade war with America looming. Ofcourse there is the West but mostly America and the UK. (I will leave out the France suprise for now since I have no clear thoughts on their role). It is quite clear America and the UK are en route to financial collapse. If the Syrian ”problem” is solved their militaries willl HAVE TO move to the above mentioned areas of ”concern” (to them).
Then there is the house of Soud, having enough troubles with the Yemen disaster and budget deficits and lastly Erdogan, an NATO member that isnt one and has its own Kurdish ”problem” just as Syria has so their agenda’s I will not discuss since local and not wider region or global. Ofcourse they are both still supported by global powers otherwise both would have crashed financially already but that is another story (smile).
It seems to me all main global actors have a good reason to keep ”busy” in Syria and thus make a backroom deal without escalating big time. Ofcourse, I agree this is a very dangerous game but hey, what is a tiny bit more risk when averting way bigger risk with escalation in the fronts I just mentioned.
For Russia, the Western front with West (the Eastern front for the west) is quite calm since they started the operation in Syria. Besides that, the Syrian operation is a huge succes in almost all ways. So if the West keeps focuesed on Syria, it is a big win since buys more time, the non Western rest of the worlds gets more alligned with them and can test their military. So I have to conclude it has the means and motive to do a gas attack.
As long as the West is bogged down in Syria (and SA in Yemen as well), it cannot free up sources to attack Iran either. I actually only see America, Israel and SA wanting to attack Iran, not the rest of the West. Conidering the fact all three countries are financially in trouble I doubt that they want to ignite very costly new military and color revolution adventures big time. After all, besides rhetoric the other hot spots they were persuing, mostly the Ukraine, Fell silent minus some rethoric.
Who did it if it was done at all? I think us peons will never know for sure and I think we have to admit more that we will never know for sure since most, if not all, parties involved, as least in my thinking, have an interest into keeping the conflict into Syria. At least for now.
For Syria, it seems a very small price to pay to her allies since the empire has time against it, Russia and its allies dont. To me, saner heads prevailed in this insane world and the world, hopefully, gotten another year to work out the mess we are in.
The gas attack and the response a way to keep all parties making fuss about near nothing and thus a great ploy? After all, no one died and I say that is an amazing climax to a conflict that taken so much blood. I really see this non event in lives taken as great progress. But hey, I am the kind of guy that thinks the glass is half full (smile)
I hope my ramble made sense.
Regards,
Hugo
Nikki Haley and her new round of anti-Russian sanctions publicly bitch-slapped by Trump.

You can tell what the West is afraid of because that’s what they send their trolls out to attack.
The west is very afraid of both Russia and China.
The trolls tell us that. We don’t even have to smell the brown stain in Mattis suit-pants to know it.
Earlier I submitted a post asking for an explanation as to why the OPCW inspectors had reportedly been blocked from the Douma site. It is now being said that they will be given access on Wednesday, which I hope is accurate information. Meanwhile, one American media organization was apparently allowed to visit the site and has put out a video on what was found….or I should say NOT found. For those interested, here it is, straight from One America News, which, according Wikipedia, looks to be a creditable conservative-leaning news source.

Another deluded soul that think Putin actually opposes AngloZionists. Sorry but the facts say otherwise. Russia’s only hope is the Russian military grows weary of this and gives putin a one ticket to Tel Aviv.
URGENT BREAKING NEWS:
I have just learned from my sources in the Pentagon that Boris and Natasha, international terrorists, have joined forces with Russia and China in a nefarious plot to undermine American interests and prevent freedom and democracy in the Middle East. Nikki Haley says that the US is willing to go it alone in order to save the children. President Trump will soon announce to the US public that he is sending some really big boats with some really big missiles to deal with this threat. American exceptionalism will prevail. Please pray for the children.
Just released — G7 leaders statement on Syria:
“We, the G7 Leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union, are united in condemning, in the strongest possible terms, the use of chemical weapons in the April 7 attack in Eastern Ghouta, Syria.
“We fully support all efforts made by the United States, the United Kingdom and France to degrade the Assad regime’s ability to use chemical weapons and to deter any future use, demonstrated by their action taken on April 13. This response was limited, proportionate and necessary – and taken only after exhausting every possible diplomatic option to uphold the international norm against the use of chemical weapons.
“Use of chemical weapons is a breach of the Chemical Weapons Convention and constitutes a threat to international peace and security. The repeated and morally reprehensible use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime in the past has been confirmed by independent international investigators. We condemn this deliberate strategy of terrorizing local populations and forcing them into submission. Syria’s possession of chemical weapons and their means of delivery are illegal under UN Security Council Resolution 2118 and the Chemical Weapons Convention. We stand together against impunity for those who develop or use these weapons, anywhere, anytime, under any circumstance.
“We remain committed to a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Syria. We commend and support UN Special Envoy de Mistura’s efforts towards an inclusive and credible political transition in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2254 and the Geneva Communiqué.”

What are your comments on:
1) The west destroys Russian ally, Russia destroys western ally: KSA, Qatar and others. Sure west wont dare to attack Russia and start world war. Essentially, destroy their oil producing infrastructure.
2) Russia, Iran reap the benefits of increase Oil prices.
3) For Oil, ask the payment in gold.
4) Using the newly found oil money, turn off Europe’s gas and let divide them.
Russia needs to start penalizing countries for being West’s lapdogs. As you mentioned, no one cares about facts or fairness, So why try to gain a moral high ground?
The msm is now claiming that the Russians and Syrians will not let OPCW inspectors go to the supposed sites in Douma of alleged CW use. What goes?
Released today – G7 foreign ministers statement:
“We, the G7 Foreign Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the High Representative of the European Union, are united in condemning, in the strongest possible terms, the attack that took place against Sergei and Yulia Skripal, using a nerve agent in Salisbury, United Kingdom on March 4, 2018. A British police officer and numerous civilians were exposed in the attack and required hospital treatment, and the lives of many more innocent British civilians have been threatened. We express our deepest sympathies to them and all and our admiration and support for the U.K. emergency services for their courageous response.
“The United Kingdom has thoroughly briefed G7 partners. We share, and agree with, the U.K.’s assessment that it is highly likely that the Russian Federation was responsible for the attack and that there is no plausible alternative explanation. We condemn Russia’s continued failure to address legitimate requests from the U.K. government, which further underlines its responsibility. We call on Russia to urgently address all questions related to the incident in Salisbury. Russia should provide full and complete disclosure of its previously undeclared Novichok program to the OPCW in line with its international obligations.
“The use of a military-grade nerve agent, of a type developed by Russia, constitutes the first offensive use of nerve agent in Europe some the Second World War and is a grave challenge not only to the security of the United Kingdom but to our shared security. It is an assault on U.K. sovereignty. Any use of chemical weapons by a state party, under any circumstances, is a clear breach of international law and a violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention. It is a threat to us all. Their use is abhorrent, completely unacceptable and must be systematically and rigorously condemned. We, participating states of the International Partnership Against Impunity for the Use of Chemical Weapons, stand together against impunity for those who develop or use these weapons, anywhere, anytime, under any circumstances.
” The G7 is committed to protecting and promoting the rules-based international system. We stand in unqualified solidarity with the United Kingdom. Our concerns are also heightened against the background of a pattern of earlier irresponsible and destabilizing Russian behaviour, including interference in countries’ democratic systems. We call on Russia to live up to its Chemical Weapons Convention obligations, as well as its responsibilities as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, to uphold international peace and security. In order to bring Russia back into the rules-based international system, we will continue to engage with Russia, as appropriate, on addressing regional crises and global challenges.
” The G7 will continue to bolster its capabilities to address hybrid threats, including in the areas of cybersecurity, strategic communication and counter-intelligence. We welcome national action taken to constrain Russian hostile-intelligence activity and to enhance our collective security. The G7 will remain closely focused on this issue and its implications.”
The Human Species composes of West, East and Russian Species.
The West species dominants in physically aspect. It “see” the world in physical perspective. So it did very good in materialism.
The east species dominant in spiritually aspect. It “see” the world in spiritual perspective. So it did very good in mysthicism.
The Russian Species is unique, it’s DNA comprised with both West and East factions. Better calls the Russian Species “Weast”
It’s National Flag had a figure of one bird with two heads, one head “see” West and the other “see” East.
It means the Russian “see” the world with both physical and spiritual perspective.
So it can creates sophisticated weapons (physical aspect with spiritual perspective embeded) and sophisticated propagandas (spiritual aspect with physical perspective embeded).
No wonder just a little bit budget of RT and Sputnik then the trillion budget of the West propagandas no match.
For examples:
Israeli defense minister claims right of ‘total freedom of action’ in Syrian airspace – rt.com
Anyone reads this then he feels angry, feels against, feels anxious. (Including The Saker!)
Hand out of Syria – rt.com
Anyone reads this then he feels compassion.
Very easy, very simple. Yet the West does not recognize.
Because their ego does tricks them to feel thirst to do something idiotic.
Elon Musk knows very well in this “feeling embeded (sun-yee) neuronal circuits” (not programs embeded (a-sun-yee) AI or Zomby’s neuronal circuits) topic, so he can easily and happily tricks tricks tricks, tricks tricks tricks.
No, I don’t think is over. I don’t think it will not end until one or the other side collapses or Russia draws the line in the sand and says ‘Have a go you mugs”.
The main problem is Russia is run by people who are sane. They are actually trying to prevent the end of civilization.
of course dear Saker you are absolutely right. there is no end in sight. mark my words, once the OPCW sabotage, and i don’t trust them, the result of their fact finding mission to favor FUKUs allegations that “indeed there was chemical bombing done by Assad, Trump will say this time that since Russia supplied AD equipment to Syria, they will be punished as well and he will send “more modern, more shiny and smarter” missiles than the previous one and this time he will announce they still have a balance of a thousand more missiles to spare.
The Russians will deliver a measured response in time. These kinds of attacks are vast learning experiences for the Russians and the Syrians.
I have question for everybody.
How it is possible that the Western block is so unified and good organized?
Why is USA politics so attractive for political elites in so many countries?
We must face the truth, young elites in most of the world are pro USA and Russia is quite alone. It is obvious that Russia is on the “right” side, but that doesn’t mean a lot today. What kind of psychological change has happend in people that being on a right side is not important or atractive?
Let’s not forget the long period military hype of techno war and especially techno air power as wonder weapon. It started in 1920’s, continued during WW2 and after that even more. But what military history is suggesting is totally different: it played smaller role than apostles of it believed and fan boys of it are still believing.
Let’s put it straight. When allied bombed Nazi Germany day and night after another they destroyed lot of but not near as much they believed. And German work force (and slave labor) came and repair all. After 1-2 months almost all damaged was repaired. Just think about it.
I have also studied lots of issues of that period so called ground attack aircraft “wiping out enemy armor”. Though pilots have tremendous effort and try the truth is – air power never really won the war. It was artillery and boots on the ground doing the most of the bloody job. So hard and bloody road full of blood and sweat and pain and sorrow.
So even if they have managed to send 100 missiles to targets what those 45 000 kilos of explosions would have made? Win the Syrian army, Russia, Iran? The dropped millions of tons of bombs to (mostly South) Vietnam and they lost. Learn the lesson. Air power are still not winning any war itself.
This US/NATO warfare is nothing but lousy ruffling and Pentagon generals and senior officers know it pretty well. They are not stupid. This is just their job with no really honor and glamour at all.
I’ll agree: it is not all over. The game is going on, but this aggression has shown that neither Trump nor Putin want a real war and the Apocalypse.
Russia in not fighting the Empire because the Empire is managed by the Devil but because the Empire want to bring Russia to mercy. Russia has no choice; Russia has to fight to avoid “de passer sous le joug”.
The Chinese are dealers and traders, the Empire is their biggest customers, they dont want to kill their customers as long as they can do business with him. That is probably the rationale to avoid them being dragged into a conflictual situation.
Both Russia and China are not driven by idelogy, only Iran is, and when Iran is fighting agaisnt the Empire, Iran is figthing the Devil.
Russia is involved in the Middle-East crisis almost by accident. The 2 Chechnya wars gave Russia some real allergy to the terrorists and Tartus is also a base on the Mediterranean Sea
The Middle-East crisis is driven by Israel and the Zionists and as long as the zionists are running the Empire, the crisis will go on. Only a major worldwide economic crisis could bring down the Empire and bring peace to the Middle-East
Right now the US is occupying 30% of Syrian territory, and controls 95% of their oil and gas reserves. They also control most of the water and agricultural land. Israel occupies the new found reserves both in the Golan Heights and off of Gaza. No way they are letting go of that unless they are forced to.
Trumps administration includes the president of Genie Energy, the company that with the Israeli government is poised to exploit the riches of the Golan, along with their precious water, and colonise with `settlements´. The players involved in Genie Energy run across party lines and include many rich and powerful people in industry and government.
I view the recent kerfuffle as as show. Spend 200 million of Saudi money, bomb some old buildings, kill no one. But put the fear into anyone watching media. Big Fear. Fear of WW3. Really, its a distraction from the murders of peacefully protesting Palestinians in Gaza. Gotta push that off the front pages, spin it as defensive, against murderous arab hordes.
My feeling is that they are going all in on the Oded Yinon plan within 3 years unless the citizens of the west rise up and stop the theft, stop the move toward martial law and a total surveillance state (which will be necessary). Stop waiting for Putin to save us! Damn, he´s got enough on his plate. It will take all of us to break the hegemonic fantasy and the cruel apartheid Israeli regime. These lawless bastards gotta go.
Q is mossad, keeping hopesters dreaming. Trump is being run by the zionazis.

“Russia can militarily defeat the AngloZionists, but only by risking the future of our planet.”
Well then I say Just Do It !
The U.S. has been at war for 93% of its time: 221 out of her 242 calendar years of existence. The criminality of this fact only becomes clearer once one considers that WWII was arguably the Only Justified war it ever fought in all that time.
Speaking of criminality the U.S. has legalized torture by changing the legal definition of the word, legalized kidnapping by eliminating habeas corpus, legalized highway robbery by re-branding it as ‘civil asset forfeitures’, legalized a de facto police state by invariably failing to prosecute egregious cases of law enforcement abuse against innocent citizens, legalized massive spying on the general population on a level never previously seen before in human history, it runs a system of secret parallel courts (FISA courts) that use secret interpretations of law in order to issue secret warrants that no one will ever know about thanks to secret gag orders, it runs a world-wide web of state-run clandestine torture centers, all this among a plethora of Other criminal acts it has committed and Continues to commit All The Whilst Masquerading As a “Force Of Good”.
Nuke ‘Em Vlado! Nuke ‘Em Long & Nuke ‘Em Hard. A planet with These people running the show is a planet that has gone stark raving Mad anyway.

I think it was a perfectly reasonable compromise for Russia to allow the empire a feckless attack on Syria in exchange for standing down and giving the rest of us a longer state of peace. No use in starting a global war over a fake chemical attack. Yes, in a way Russia lost face in exchange for Washington gaining it, but, so what? These are games which Russia is smart enough not to partake in, nuclear war was averted, and that is all that counts for the time being.
What happened was the US spent $150 million to advertise Russian anti-missil systems.
If I were Saudi Arabia, Israel or Japan I would be asking if I could get on the list for some of those systems that actually work.
The US general who announced 100% strike success is an idiot (and the people behind him). If he would have said it was something like 93% it might have at least sounded credible at first. 100% was never going to be credible. Just goes to show how far out the people in charge are on the US side.
At some point the dollar will lose power to China and Russia and cheap money will dry up. At that point the stock market dominos will begin to fall and as the majority of the US economy is so debt laden it is barely hanging on, things will get very rough.
All Putin needs to do is sit back and wait.
Mr. Saker,
You are saying that if Russia takes ANY military measures against the NATO aggressors, it’ll start WWIII.
Did WWIII start because Americans and the Israelis have been bombing Syria and murdering Syrians AND Russians for years?
No.
Were Americans and Israelis attacked?
No.
Did the Americans and the Israelis bomb in self defense?
No.
What reason can you proffer that the Americans and the Israelis will start WWIII if the Russians defend themselves and their Syrian allies by taking military action?
Since the Americans and the Israelis are not acting based on reason, what does reason itself have to do with what’s going on here?
The Americans and the Israelis are an unreasonable people. You yourself called their masses ‘zombies’ and their leadership psychopaths more or less.
The Americans and the Israelis will do what they will REGARDLESS of what Russia does. If they need an excuse to initiate WWIII, they’ll create it independently of what Russia does or say.
So tell us, Mr. Saker,
Why do you argue that Russia shouldn’t defend herself or her allies since she clearly has nothing to lose but only to gain a relatively more peaceful environment thanks to incentivizing effect some real pain will have on the Americans and the Israelis?
I don’t understand why you keep saying the Russians shouldn’t fight when as per above, they can only gain whilst having nothing to lose?
Why? What am missing here?
Thanks.
Dear Saker,
The Yanks and Brits lies now exposed: http://www.atimes.com/article/russia-exposes-british-lies-skripal-trail-leads-us/
I was fascinated by this as just before it I read the Saker explanation of why he lives in USA and noted his displeasure of being asked why he lives in America. Yet this posting makes clear why his home in USA may be unsafe for him, his beloved wife and children.
He seems totally unaware of the USA plans of the future being set up by global yesterdays. Read Global War On Liberty by Jean-Claude Paye for the changing of global International law, country by country, copying present US law. Lawlessness, Exceptional, Off-the-Cuff. See UK Prime Minister May’s dependence on no proof for proof of criminality, put another way, utter defiance of any Western normal, common sense law.
Common sense law as English common law came, with great difficulties, from English common sensical perceptions. That as an USA ally of prime value, Mrs. P.M. May was announcing UK vassal-hood to America
and the end of Common British law as the Magna Carta was destroyed by US 9/11 by destroying the US Constitution. She evidently agreed this was fine.
With the Saker’s vast global widening audience and global respect it would not untoward of USA to use his
erasure as proof of the power of Hegemony of one country. Itself.
