No, I am not referring the folks who voted for Trump. That was the right thing to do.
I am talking to the diehard idiots today who still are pretending that MAGA will happen.
They are the kind of infantile ignoramuses who will delight in such animations…
The Saker
Having lived in “America” aka good ol’ USA for over 30 years, I could say with 1000% certainly MOST Americans are complete idiots. And they weren’t like that just mere 40 years ago, meaning in the ’70s.
You can clearly see they did have SOME sense back then judging them by their TV shows alone: “All in The Family” is a prime example of an America that could still think. But something did happen after ol’ Uncle Ronny took over: the consolidation of the media began and soon Americans had only 7 super corporations who told them everything they saw, and heard. Today, according to Americans “All in the family” is a “Liberal” propaganda while the guy who played “the meathead” whast-hiss-name is a rabid Anti Russian asshole.
No wonder “liberals” and “feminists” are blamed for everything bad in America and The Orange Buffoon is hailed as a savior. So was uncle Ronnie, a guy who played President on TV.
Me, I give USA less than 5 years; it strongly reminds me of Europeans Communists countries in the ’80s right before they collapsed. Nothing works anymore, nobody cares and it’s gone on full automatic.
Hopefully, USA will not drag the rest of the world with it while it collapses. After all, what the Americans are best at is to invent an imaginary enemy so they can project the sheep’s anger. A cornered, wounded animals is THE most dangerous as we all know. Hopefully we(the world) will be able to survive the collapse of “America” aka USA intact but things don’t look too promising. The next 5 years will determine if humanity survives or not.
50 years of the right wing politicians and corporations constantly attacking public education and teachers.
Since I have a pre-Ronnie Raygun education, I can guess that such a long campaign against education is likely to produce a lot of stupid people. And it has.
It seems like a stupid thing to do to your own country. But, they knew that going back in history that public education was a key part of American democracy. In the 19th century, people understood that a democracy requires an educated and informed population. So, they’ve been trying to kill it all through my lifetime. Not at all good for America, but the people doing this don’t really care about America. They are happy to turn it into Ukraine, then live in an armored, gated community/compound, or move to New Zealand.
The great danger, I believe, is Israel’s reaction to its captive hyper-power going tits up. After centuries of effort, the total capture of US politics, the heights of business, finance, the Internet and the indoctrination systems by the Zionazis is a triumph without precedent. To lose that all, and the USA’s protection in defaecating on International Law and basic human decency, is a fate that Zionazis like Bibi, Abrams, Bolton and the rest of the lunatic menageries simply won’t tolerate. They will ‘take the world down with us’, the so-called Samson Option, as members of the Zionazi elites have often promised to do.
Why do you believe voting for Trump was the right thing to do? I didn’t vote because I believed it was , once again, the choice between the lesser of two evils. When your only choice is between candidates like Bush/Gore, Obama/McCain, Bush/Clinton in the words of Hillary: At this point what difference does it make?
Because Hillary was virtually promising a nuclear war if elected President. She was openly promising an immediate war in Syria as one of the first things of her Presidency. Which her generals had already told Congress would lead to a war. And, Hillary was almost openly promising a nuclear war with Russia if elected. Trump sucks, but at least we dead yet.
I do love the way the American oligarchs have gotten so many Americans convinced not to even bother with voting or politics. This of course leaves the oligarchs in full control of the country, which is just what they want.
Its also interesting how they’ve convinced people that there are only two choices on the ballot. Either the Greens or the Libertarians promise considerable change from this situation, but the people who say that this situation sucks won’t even bother to go vote for them.
I said this before
Spoil a ballot in elections then lobby “elected” officials with letters, calls etc.
If Hitlery had won…she would have never been able to accomplish a thing. With a Trump win…cognitive dissonance would allow those pulling the strings to accomplish what Hitlery could have never accomplish. Elections are theater…and have been for a long time.
If Hillary won, Assad would have been overthrown or assassinated.
Ukies might have attacked Donbass forcing Russia to intervene.
Open borders would be overwhelming the nation with millions more aliens.
Need more?
Hillary was such poison, the Deep State worked against her.
Bill and Hillary were selling out the Republic. Even the Praetorian Guards of the Deep State could not put up with her. The Clinton Foundation was corruption like a banana republic.
However, when Trump won, it meant all the other corruption and crimes of the Deep State was in jeopardy, so that faction works against Trump.
There has always been a split in the Intel services. Used to be David Rockefeller vs his brother Nelson. Arab vs Jews. That split is still deep.
But Hillary was too much for many.
Those against her felt they could control Trump. All they feared was General Flynn. They got rid of him, and they took control of the Presidency. Now Trump is neutered.
If Trump was ever actually an enemy of the Deep State why appoint John Bolton, Steve Mnuchin, Mike Pompeo, etc? And now pardoned liar Elliot Abrams as special envoy to Venezuela and William Barr to Attorney General?
I realize Clinton was worse but isn’t voting for either of these two parties just taking part in evil?
Trump is an enemy of the Deep State because he never gave them the compromising material required to be in the club (so they don’t fear you spill the beans – you can choose if you want to get filmed with a boy or a girl). So he needs any ally he can get – AIPAC, NeoCons and the military. The NeoCons take the places that get the most flack from Trump’s enemies. Trump does not mind if they get Flynned, there are enough replacements.
Steve: You asked a very good question, namely “isn’t voting for either of these two parties just taking part in evil?” I fear that the answer is Yes. The work that lies ahead of us is monumental.
Perhaps the following will be of interest, also: from Chuck Baldwin Live, — Donald Trump, John Hagee, Zionism And The Chabad. Pastor Baldwin’s essay details even more taking part in evil. It’s institutionalized, deeply entrenched, and very long standing. Alas, It will not just slither away quietly.
The “Day of Judgment” is not some future thing, it is right here, right Now.
Of course Trump isn’t neutered. He may be stymied left, right and center by the Swamp and the resident bureaucracies at federal and state levels in implementing MAGA, and deceived by the zionists, evangelicals, neocons, etc into going along with things he is deceived about. For one, he can make Executive Orders. For another, he retains the unique power to appoint to SCOTUS. AFAIK no-one as yet holds a gun to his head (literally) when he has to sign anything. He continues with the capacity to alter judicial decisions for the next half century. And we’ve all seen how his enemies use lawfare.
BTW anyone seen Ruth Bader Ginsburg lately? Innuendo has it that her ashes attended a recent concert celebration.
“Implementing MAGA”, ah, another group of exceptional people – god help us https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_the_United_States
Has Trump been perfect? No. He has failed to deliver on his campaign promise of ending H1B visa abuse.
That being said, he has done remarkably well with deep-the state obstructionism such as the never ending Meuller investigation following along every where. When Mueller is forced to close up shop, the opportunity will be opened for the U.S. to cooperate with Russia on their common goals in the middle east and elsewhere.
Trump is almost certain to have 6 ymore ears to continue to work on incremental change towards MAGA goals. The cast of failures the DNC is generating to run against him in 2020 is a re-run of the far left and a new cadre of the terrifyingly extreme left.
Given the age and poor health of deep-staters on the Supreme court, odds are good he will replace 2 or 3 more. That alone will do much to help keep the Soros/UNazi/NWO away.
The Democrats ‘far left’ and ‘extreme left’??!! Oh, dear me. Trump against the NWO? Hilarious! MAGA? Hallucinatory!
In the run-up to the 2016 election, there was some reason to believe Trump’s pseudo-nationalism and pseudo-populism would make him a better prospect than Clinton. Of course anyone making an objective review of Trump’s background would not have been surprised by anything he has done since his election. Although personally, even given his background, the degree of his subservience to Netanyahu and Likud is nevertheless remarkable. Since that time though, I no longer believe that Trump was a better choice than Clinton. No one knows what Clinton would have done as president. So that argument is pointless, not to mention at this point it’s getting rather old. And yes, I have read all the usual speculative claims. I didn’t vote for either Trump or Clinton and I’m glad I didn’t.
Trump made money in the New York real estate ‘business’. The odds that he was at some time or another compromised and enslaved by the Jewish individuals who dominate that business (particularly the Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox who are so disproportionately represented in the ranks of slum-lords)and the finance industry and legal rackets that enable it, are rather high. How many of his children have married Jews, cementing his loyalty? Ivanka has gone full ‘Orthodox’ for a start, with that monument to smarm, Jared. Oddly, well not really, despite his total subservience to Bibi, vicious attacks on the Palestinian victims of Zionazi barbarity and alacrity in killing Moslems, with Iran as the coming main course, there are still some Zionazis who abuse him as an ‘antisemite'(but who isn’t, these days?). Some people are never pleased.
“No, I am not referring the folks who voted for Trump. That was the right thing to do.”
I’m not so sure about that anymore. For all the talk about Clinton’s aggressivness, she was not interested in increasing the military budget. She was also not interested in trade war with China, getting rid of the INF deal, or in getting rid of the Iranian Nuke deal.
She hated Russia a lot, this is the only place she would have been more aggressive than Trump. But a war in Syria with low military budget? Do not look at the rethoric only, look at the actual numbers.
Larger military equals larger aggression. And who supported enlarging the military? Trump.
“Donald Trump calls the U.S. military “depleted.” It urgently needs more planes, ships, troops and nuclear weapons, he says, to ensure American predominance in the world.
Hillary Clinton has a much different view of the defense and military challenges facing the next president. Her prescriptions are largely echoes of the Obama administration. She begins with the argument that the U.S. military already is head and shoulders above any competitor and does not require a major overhaul.”
A Clinton Government would have been more like Obama: hostile to Russia, but losing lots of ground vis a vis Iran and China. Just like what happened during the Obama years. This would have been a better variant.
I view the Trump administration as merely a continuation of the MIC policies of the papa George Bush administration. The USA has no wall, the Mexicans are not returning home, and street gangs continue to be tolerated. The USA will not re-industrialize nor strive to become self-sufficient. That is all we need to know.
Is the following material below truth, disinformation or entertainment? I am leaning toward entertainment, but I don’t know for sure:

Saker,
I see little debate about 3rd parties here in the US or Europe.
As I have written to you before, I boycotted Mass Media, the debates, and much more.
I spent a great deal of time surfing the web, particularly Progressive web sites which pushed the “lesser of 2 evils” debate. I was particularly surprised by Chomsky’s arguments before the convention when 3rd parties were still an option.
I made my point about what I saw regarding the “echo chamber”.
RE: “Diehard idiots today who still are pretending that MAGA will happen”.
I think you should elaborate.
It seems to me there are a lot of idiots in both camps who cling to Trump or Clinton.
Neither side seems interested in challenging those they voted for.
There are then the idiots like myself who are “confused”.
Re: MAGA
It seems to me that Russia and China have been taking on the challenge of making their countries “great again” over the past 20 plus years.
I would be interested in your comparisons of infrastructure efforts in America, Europe, Russia, and China.
It was a subject I was hoping you would discuss with CA Fitts in the context of her suspicions of China.
That’s a groovy moving picture you got there Saker – very apt.
S,
I have a friend (Tea Party) who did vote Trump and still supports him. I do not consider him an idiot, just anti-globalist conservative. I happen to agree with him on many, but not all, issues.
“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than [introducing] a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old institution and merely lukewarm defenders in those who gain by the new ones.” ~ Niccolò Machiavelli
Donald Trump was elected President despite the opposition of global corporate interests, who continue to control 85% of Capital Hill and most of the Washington bureaucracy, have denied him the ability to appoint over 300 agency heads and have closely vetted those he is permitted to name — eg Pompeo for State and Barr for Attorney General — all such need a minimum of 60% support in the Senate and the President does not have a single Senate ally. ***
The one area President Trump had freedom of maneuver in 2017-2018 was in Foreign Trade. He immediately withdrew from TPP, which established trade rules designed to further weaken the US, and he renegotiated NAFTA with Mexico and Canada, which China and Pacific–rim–nations were using as a backdoor to further de-industrialize the US. In the new trade agreement with Mexico, President Trump established minimum wages of $16 per hour, to the delight of Mexicans and over the teeth-grinding opposition of globalists, who only tolerate slave wages for those employed by them. And for his “Deplorable” supporters, the President has added over 500,000 manufacturing jobs, supposedly by waving a magic wand per President Obama, while blue collar wages have risen by $1,000 for the first time in 30 years.
As for the WALL — despite virtual nonsupport by the Republican branch of the Senate Uni-Party — President Trump continues to raise the question and is now about to build the structure with funds set aside for military installations.
I will admit that I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and have been upset with the continuance of so much global imperialism over the last 2 years. Mind you, I believe, with no evidence to prove it, that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin reached a meeting of minds about detente, in that two-hour session, sans advisors, they contrived. Call me a dupe, if you wish. But at this point, I will be voting for the man in 2020.
Be of good cheer !
*** For our foreign readers — and others who did not have a civics course in middle school — a President can make “Recess Appointments” to his administration when the Senate closes for major holidays such as Christmas and 4th July.
To prevent such “Recess Appointments,” the entire Senate must decide to hold the entire body in continuous session, with only 1 or 2 Senators remaining in DC and wandering into the Senate Hall every few days. All it takes to create a “Recess” is for a single Senator saying,”Naw, I’m going to recess.”
Next time your Senator claims he supports the President, ask him how come he didn’t say those magic words over the last 2 years. As I write above, every single Republican Senator has proved himself a fully purchased member the UniParty controlled by global corporate interests.
The helicopter (perhaps with drone attached, or a clip-art mistake?) taking off in an infinite loop off to the left side has, perhaps, been under-appreciated. The Artist(s)(?) Formerly Known as Q Anon used to love focusing attention on such little details.
Really, this looks like more of the same from the outfit that made “Q: The Motion Picture”, but it could also just be clip art from anyone at all. Thus, high art meets low, things fall apart, the center cannot hold, etc. I pray for a better state of affairs in this oft shallow-as-hell country, a fool’s errand probably. Expect the moving gif as animated bumper sticker, coming to a Wall Mart Near You soon.
Above all, the sense of humor which enabled you to post this ludicrous image is even less appreciated than the looping helicopter; such humor is usually missed by new visitors to the site, and you don’t get enough credit for such actions, I am giving you credit now.
Trump ueber alles, say israel’s ad agents and psywar specialists.
And the zombiefied sheep critters go ga ga in their enthusiasm to promote the shill.
Because AIPAC has bought so many politicians, Trump cannot stay in power without them. But he has them on the balls: With the “Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election” (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-imposing-certain-sanctions-event-foreign-interference-united-states-election/) he can take all their money and all the money of their billionaire donors if they turn against him.
No one claims that Trump is perfect. But – consider the alternatives.
