European countries that station US missiles will be the targets obviously; Russia needs to make it clear that not just the European countries, but also mainland USA will be the target of retaliation;
Not retaliation.
Preemptive nuclear strike!
That would be a correct warning and the only right thing to do to save Russia and some remote pieces of Earth from suffering and total anihilisation…
Sad but true.
No more time for Putin’s chess long term visions,
generals should take over and make clear they are not about to bargain about Russian sovereignity and national interests.
Please, at least start missile attack on Poroshenko’s palace and Verkhovnaya rada in Kiyev.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The United States is considering Russia to be a menacing threat in the Pacific region and China a growing threat, US Navy Secretary Richard Spencer said on Thursday.
“Russia is a menacing threat, China is a pacing threat, and that is what we are focusing,” Spencer said in a discussion at the Center of the Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC.
Spencer pointed out that the US Navy is ready to address those threats if it is called upon to act.
“We are ready to fight even tonight, if needed,” Spencer said..”
MOSCOW, Russia – There are at least three reasons that could lead to a military confrontation between Russia and the United States, believes the deputy director of the European and International Research Center of the College of Economics, Dmitry Suslov.
Suslov warned that in the short and medium term a global confrontation would be fraught with very serious risks, among them a military confrontation between Russia and the United States with increasing chances to happen.
“In my view, there are at least three scenarios of unintended military confrontation between Russia and the US,” Suslov said during the “International Security of 2018: Situation and Prospects” discussion.
The first risk would be related to cyber threats, that is, when a country considers cyber attacks against itself as a grandiose attack and reacts not only cybernetically but militarily.
“The second risk is the uncontrolled arms race, including the installation of medium- and short-range missiles in Europe. I think we will come to this reality, sadly, in a few years,” Suslov laments.
According to a specialist, the third scenario of involuntary military confrontation between Russia and the US would be linked to Syria or the Black Sea region, where Moscow and Washington “are already operating in the same operational area, or can operate if the United States continues supporting the provocations of Ukraine.”
WASHINGTON DC, The USA – NATO has found the keys to overcoming Russia’s defense in the Crimea and Kaliningrad, said the head of the newly restored US Second Fleet, Vice Admiral Andrew Lewis, quoted by the Business Insider newspaper.
In particular, the US military has paid special attention to the tactics of Russian troops, according to which Russia is constantly expanding the so-called denial area (A2/AD), ie. denial or interdiction of access of foreign troops to strategically important areas.
The former commander of the US Land Forces in Europe said that Russia’s potential to block access to strategic points varies from region to region.
“But the one in Kaliningrad and the one in Crimea are the most substantial, with air- and missile-defense and anti-ship missiles and several thousands of troops” from Russia’s army, navy, and air force, Hodges said. “That’s part of creating an arc of A2/AD, if you will.”
In addition, he added that, together with the means of electronic warfare and radars, the possibilities of displacement of NATO forces in these regions can be significantly restricted.
However, according to Vice Admiral Andrew Lewis, quoted by the newspaper, NATO knows how to deal with this tactic of the Russian military.
“Without going into things I shouldn’t talk about, I’m confident that we can operate in an A2/AD environment, in a contested environment,” Lewis said when asked about Kaliningrad and A2/AD. “In fact, I know we can.”
“I know we can with our carrier force. I know we can with our surface force. We have a very clear way of doing that. It is based upon maneuver,” he added. “It’s based upon physical maneuver. It’s based upon maneuver in the spectrum, and it’s based upon our ability to keep quiet when it’s time to keep quiet and talk when it’s time to talk.”
In addition, Lewis added that for several years, members of the Atlantic Alliance have paid special attention to this issue and have achieved “serious progress.”
Both Kaliningrad and Crimea are armed with Iskander nuclear missiles. They also have plentiful missile defense systems and will be doom for any NATO aggression.
The braggadocio of US and NATO leadership is comic at one level, and utterly juvenile at another.
It is clear to anyone who analyzes the Order of Battle of the Russian military that the US and NATO will suffer the same fate as the Ukies did in their vainglorious attempts to seize the border with Donbass-Russia or to split the two oblasts in their final debacle at Debaltsevo.
Obliteration is a good word to contemplate when you read or hear the military or civilian officials of the US and/NATO. Russia will obliterate whoever attacks either Kaliningrad or Crimea.
I am hoping their delusion side tracks them even further they are incapable of realising reality when it hits them in the face…..
It seems Poland is their cunning plan for Kaliningrad:
https://www.rt.com/op-ed/445850-military-base-poland-russia-nato/
“Poland and the US are reportedly in talks over setting up an American military base on the border with Kaliningrad, the Russian exclave on the Baltic Sea……..”
It is amazing that these clowns consider carrier force would be of any use against Russian missile systems.
Just shows how deluded they are.
The Kinzhal missiles could be launched from well inside Russia and destroy any Carrier and escort vessels – incoming to the targets at Mach 10. No defence system on earth can stop them.
I’ve no idea what this US Admiral is smoking, but he sounds insane.
They can only ‘operate’ in those areas because Russia isn’t shooting at them. The moment a war started their operations would cease. Totally.
Carriers and any surface ships would stand zero chance.
“We are ready to fight even tonight, if needed,” Spencer said..”
Yeah, just like the USS Donald Cook that turned tail and ran when the Russian military shut down its electronics when this US ship tried to encroach upon the Black Sea.
Americans just love to beat the chest and run their mouths–to disguise how much of a nation of pathetically insecure bitches they truly are.
America is not only the true Evil Empire. America is a sniveling Evil Empire that vomits forth endless delusions about its own superiority.
What spooked the USS Donald Cook so much in the Black Sea?

Gerasimov is very impressive, scary even. No diplomatic language, just cold hard fact. When he said Russian forces are capable of dealing with any threat, I 100% believe him. No doubt in his assessment where the treat lies.
And then in the last six seconds he, deadpan, wishes them all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I love it!
I wish the little island I lived on – was in Russian territory
very interesting – thanks so much for posting this – will pass it on
The foreign military attaches are listening without translation earphones. I wonder how they are able to understand Russian, since many if not most are not fluent Russian speakers. Some are CSTO or CIS countries but it looks like a fair number of Africans are there. Did they attend Russian military universities and so can understand Russian? It would also be useful to know what countries attended the conference.
Any NATO or US representatives listening to how Russia will defeat them? Were they even invited?
To be a military attache from a country to another country means you are fluent in verbal and written language of that country. It’s a primary requisite or you would be like blind, deaf person.
Think about it.
India just announced that it wants its officers trained at the Russian Military University. That will mean some language skills the Indians will have to acquire.
Russia actually is a widely spread language as a secondary language. The Soviet Union was excellent at spreading the language in the world.
It seems to me there is live translation in english, which is edited out from the clip. Gerasimov pauses after each statement, to wait for the translation. Anyway, I agree that the overall impression of this is “scary”. For the good, or for the bad, of it.
Lavrov: US Wants Russia to Ban Missile That Was Tested Within INF Framework
https://sputniknews.com/world/201812071070476009-lavrov-osce-military/
“Addressing Washington’s plan to suspend its adherence to the INF Treaty in 60 days, announced by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that Moscow had never received documents from the US on the matter of alleged violations of the agreement, once more noting that Washington’s accusations against Russia are baseless.
“We remind you once again that when the United States started accusing us of violating the treaty several years ago, it was doing it groundlessly, and we had to literally drag information out of them in order to understand what they were talking about and what they meant,” Lavrov said at a press briefing.
According to the minister, the 9M729 missile system, which prompted the American side’s concerns, was tested by the Russian military at range permitted under the INF Treaty. He underlined that Russia had to “literally drag information” out of Washington in order to understand their claims.
“They eventually cited a specific missile — the 9M729, as you know — and started to say that it was tested… for a range prohibited by the treaty. Our information on these tests proves the opposite. It was tested for a range permitted by the treaty and in circumstances that the treaty envisages”, Lavrov explained.
He stated that Moscow proposed to discuss the issue at NATO-Russia council, but the US blocked the initiative.
“We have suggestions that we have repeatedly communicated to the United States, including in Helsinki, when [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin met with [US] President [Donald] Trump. I have personally submitted suggestions to [US] Secretary of State [Mike] Pompeo, then these suggestions were repeated during [US National Security Adviser] John Bolton’s August visit [to Russia], and in October, when he came again. These were suggestions to start a serious, honest, and professional dialogue on the INF, on the START implementation, as well as a range of other suggestions on how we should tackle strategic security problems,” Lavrov said.
“We have not received any answer from Americans. We are occasionally reminding them of it, but they have just one answer: ‘You should correct your mistakes, and rectify your violations’,” Lavrov added.
The diplomat also stated that the situation within the OSCE area has become tense, noting that some members of the organisation are increasing their military presence near their borders with Russia.
“We see that our colleagues from NATO are pursuing a course of deterring Russia, that they are increasing their military activity near our borders, and creating military infrastructure at the ‘Eastern front’, as they call it. Instead of opting for diplomacy, they are trying to voice groundless accusations, which do not facilitate dialogue. A better understanding of mutual concerns can be reached only via dialogue”, Lavrov said at a briefing.
He also commented on the sanctions against Moscow, stating that currently, the EU is being “held captive by a small, but a very aggressive Russophobic minority”, which prompts the Russian government to defend the country from sanctions.
“This is an eternal issue, an inexhaustible one. I have nothing to say here. It’s all the same pretext — when we are accused of violating a treaty, interfering in elections, trying to subjugate cyberspace, and the media space in general, to our interests, but I haven’t seen any evidence so far”, the minister said at a press conference following the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting.”
The israeli’s trump quislings obviously are just carrying out trumps election promise of securing better relations with Russia…
A damning indictment of the U.S. and it’s allies. Essentially, it is a terrorist organization waging a war OF terror, not ON terror.

New military strategy document just issued by the international, independent, not-for-profit foreign policy think-tank based in London-United Kingdom named The Human Security Centre titled “Fire and Ice – A New Maritime Strategy for NATO’s Northern Flank”—wherein they correctly detail how Russian military forces could overrun NATO territory in “a matter of hours” and seal off the airspace over Western Europe, thus leaving the only choice for the US to make is if they want a full blown nuclear war.
