Washington is hell-bent on a war with Russia. It is part of the PNAC (Plan for a New American Century) to take over the world. After Russia, China would follow. That’s the plan. China is being encircled as we speak. Never mind that Russia and China have recently concluded a pact, a close financial and military alliance – which to defeat will be next to impossible.
Unless – and here is the crux of the matter – unless Washington initiates an all-out nuclear war, destroying the planet, including itself – but foremost Europe.
Of NATO’s 28 member countries, 26 are in Europe, of which 12 in Eastern Europe, countries that used to be part of or ‘dependencies’ of the former Soviet Union. And this happened despite Washington’s promise at the time of the fall of the Berlin Wall, not to expand NATO eastward. A lie and sheer affront to Russia.
This provocation is exacerbated today by the US’s further arming the NATO bases of Poland and Latvia, and by NATO’s considering Ukraine’s urgent call – or rather, the call of the Washington installed Kiev Nazi thugs – for NATO protection and to become a NATO member as soon as possible.
Imagine, NATO at Moscow’s doorstep. Would the Kremlin just bow and accept it? – Hardly. With NATO bases in 26 European countries – Guess – who would be the logical center of the next war theatre?
Do the Obama stooges not realize this? – Do the vassals have no brains? Or would the coward leaders (sic) escape to Florida, while their people smolder to dust? – Wake up, Europe! Wake up! – People of Europe, take back your countries from the neoliberal puppets, from your spine and brainless coward leaders.
In fact, the West led by the naked emperor is currently waging war against Russia on several fronts: relentless anti-Russia, anti-Putin propaganda, by the Zionist-Anglo-Saxon controlled MSM; arming and equipping the Kiev war criminals that has led to at least 5,000 savagely killed Donbass inhabitants most of whom civilians, women and children, and more than a million homeless refugees into Russia; CIA inspired false flag operations, like the downing by Kiev’s air force of Malaysian Air MH17, killing 298 people; a salvo of countless economic sanctions which, albeit, hurt Europe more than Russia; and a currency war with an engineered fall of the ruble, combined with an ‘engineered’ drop of oil prices by conspiring with the Saudi clowns for overproduction, a stab not only at Russia, but also at the economies of others who refuse to bend to Washington’s dictum, like Iran and Venezuela.
Russia is taking all of it with calm. Vladimir Putin is a chess player par excellence, out-maneuvering the west at every move. In addition to Russia’s large foreign exchange reserves – estimated at close to half a trillion dollars equivalent – Ms. Elvira Nabiullina, President of Russia’s Central Bank, entered into a currency swap agreement with China, pitting their combined economies, constituting about 27% of the world’s GDP (2014 est. US$85 trillion) against the western economic aggressions.
A few days ago Russia’s Central Bank started buying back cheap, down-graded rubles with its excess foreign reserves. The Russian currency gained 10% alone on 17 December, last day of trading before the weekend. With the fall of the ruble, foreign shareholders of Russian corporations, especially in Europe and the US, were afraid of losing out under a ruble collapse. They shed their shares – which Russia quickly repatriated, thereby not only returning foreign holdings of Russian stock into Russian coffers, but also cashing in on the dividends of these stocks. According to some accounts (Spiegel Online), with this move alone Russia earned some 20 billion dollars.
It looks like the economic and propaganda war is being won by Russia. On the political western front things are crumbling too. Hungary’s government, a member of the EU and of NATO, has just declared an alliance with Russia against Washington. Turkey, once a contender to enter the EU, is disgusted with Europe and in instead aiming at membership in the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization). Turkey is a strategic key NATO member. Will others follow suit, as more and more are seeing the emperor’s nakedness and malignancy?
The veils are falling. Gradually. So-called allies of the empire are wary since long. Afraid of ‘sanctions’ or worse, of a possible take-over by the merciless killing machine, they have nodded and played along. But, as they see the implosion of the beast, they increasingly dare jumping ship.
Europe – be aware! The center of the next war might again be Europe. A dying beast knows no mercy. It rather destroys the universe and itself than leaving survivors behind. – Unless it’s poisonous and killing tentacles can be paralyzed – terminally, by economic isolation; by abandoning the dollar; by making this worthless currency irrelevant and obsolete. For good.
Europe – it’s not too late! Your economic future is in your autonomy; in an alliance of you, Europe, a coalition of sovereign nations, with the east – an alliance with the promising new Silk Road. Mr. Xi Jinping’s offer to Madame Merkel this past spring is still open. Neoliberal thinking is short-term thinking. Instant profit for instant debt.
Europe, take the lead. Break loose from the corrupt debt-ridden dollar casino scheme. A new ruble-yuan based monetary system is in the making. The basket may soon expand by other BRICS currencies – and, who knows, maybe the Euro? – Our children, grandchildren and their children deserve a future of peace and harmony and wellbeing.

I disagree with Koenig that outright war with Russia is in the initial planning, not impossible, just more likely to come about due to secondary reasons.
The destabilization of Russia was a subject addressed some years back at my blog.
April 05/2012
FYI:
Links included so open minded readers can verify my claims
:)
What is more probable is a destabilization campaign launched from Ukraine- along with some internal destabilization (aka colour revolution) along with economic warfare being waged present day
But in the midst of all this Europe is being taken down as surely as the US/NATO nutters are attempting to take down Russia.
The very worse aspect of the destruction of the EU is they are doing it to themselves- The EU toadies are doing it to the people of Europe- Toadies don’t care. Psychos have no feeling for the unwashed.
The only thing that would cause them to have a moments pause is if they felt threatened.. other then that these psychopathic elites simply don’t care
The article is hyperbole. I don’t think the USA is pursuing nuclear war. It’s an economic confrontation pure and simple.
It is the matter of power-balance. Europe doesn’t have enough power to break free from American control.
Absolutelly the only option that I see is the victory of Marine Le Pen in France. But I don’t think it can happen, altough she would win today according to all reasearches. They will kill her before she takes power, or they will rig the elections.
The worse possible option is
the war only in Eastern Europe, and that is what is happening. Ukraine. I think Russia doesn’t want war against Eastern European US satelite states. If Russia is forced to strike somewhere for real, it should be on United States and Western Europe.
Mutual Slavic destruction is my worse nightmare.

PART 1
I don’t agree that “Washington is hell-bent on a war with Russia”, but it’s very likely that the US is preparing for such a war. That’s what the generals in the Pentagon are paid to do, among other things. And if the US/NATO and Russia come to the brink of nuclear war, and the US is looking at defeat, then I believe the US (run by psychopaths) is prepared to go over the brink. In that case, obviously, the US would prefer to have the nukes detonated only in Eurasia, and if that means that Europe is obliterated … well, who cares, as long as the continental US emerges unscathed.
I’m not an expert in ‘nuclear doctrine’ (The Saker could tell us more), but if tactical nukes are used in a NATO/Russia war in the Ukraine, Russia is more likely to nuke NATO missile sites in the EU than to launch ICBMs against the US (which would surely result in US ICBMs being launched against Russia). I suspect that the war game favored by the Pentagon generals is one that takes a NATO/Russia nuclear war right up to, but not beyond, Russian nuclear strikes against NATO bases in Europe (perhaps against all of them). If/when that happens, the Americans will then offer a truce, so as to avoid a Russian nuke attack on the US.
Europe’s only hope of avoiding nuclear devastation is for the European NATO countries to withdraw from NATO, shut down all NATO bases in Europe and declare (at least) neutrality. Obviously it’s not going to happen.

Very true.
Continued in Part 2.
PART 2
There is, however, a way for the US to destroy Europe, and thus prevent a European-Russian alliance and the defeat of the Anglo-German-Zionists, and that’s to sabotage Europe, e.g., by forcing the EU into imposing more economic and financial sanctions on Russia (harming the EU itself), and even by mounting cyber attacks on European infrastructure (blamed, of course, on Russia). Don’t forget that the CIA has a lot of experience in industrial sabotage (see instances mentioned by Wayne Madsen here).
And, worryingly, we’re now looking at the possibility of nuclear contamination of Europe via the meltdown of numerous nuclear reactors in the Ukraine (see RT’s report of an emergency shutdown at the Zaporizhia NPP). The cooling systems could fail due to lack of electricity (though Russia is now providing, without prepayment, coal needed by the Ukraine to keep its coal-burning generators running). Stupidly, the Ukrainian government (presumably advised by the CIA) has switched from using fuel rods (which used to be) supplied by Russia to fuel rods supplied by the US’s Westinghouse Corp., which are not entirely compatible with the (now ageing) Ukrainian reactors built to Russian specifications. According to reports, the Westinghouse fuel rods tend to jam or break when engineers are trying to insert or withdraw them to regulate the operation of the reactors. (A small amount of sabotage of those fuel rods could help this along.) Might the US not be adverse to a few Ukrainian reactor meltdowns adversely affecting both Europe and Russia?
“Hungary’s government, a member of the EU and of NATO, has just declared an alliance with Russia against Washington.”
Unless I missed it, this is not true. Orban has said Hungary will not take sides in a Cold War. This is hardly declaring “an alliance with Russia against Washington”.
There is an empathy between Putin’s Russia and Orban’s Hungary which implies that Orban does not see Russia as a ‘cloaked’ Soviet Union, but another post-communist state in the same post-communist boat as they are. Therefore, they have mutual interests which they recognize (unlike Poland).
I think Orban is attempting to create a ‘bloc’ within the EU, not leave it.
We can say the same for the western anti EU or Euro parties.
Few politicians can resist the Siren song of power.
I’m looking forward to the next meeting between Orban and Merkel. They may discover a common interest.

The US definitely wants to draw Russia into a war in Ukraine. But it most definitely does NOT want to fight Russia itself. If the US has been hesitant to attack Iran, after decades of talking about it, it surely isn’t about to attack Russia.
That is simply very logical.
The only way the US will attack Russia is if the zionist capitalist so called elites in the US feel so threatened and desperate that they are about to lose everything that they won’t care one little bit for a catastrophic war in Europe. Even then, they will probably do anything to keep the war limited to a European theatre. This is what has benefited them in the past, and this is what they probably think that they need yet again.
In case of war, Russia only needs to destroy the city of London, Jersey, Guernsey and parts of Bruxelles and Frankfurt.
This can easily been done even without flying weapons – simply by “men in green” and some explosives.
Fortunately, also this is not necessary, TV-brainwashed Europe needs “BRICywood” movies, series and pop stars telling the truth.
Into the living-rooms and discos.
The fantastic multipolar eurasian future needs the feeling of adventure, love and fun based on safety, like in TV-commercials for cars.

I just completed reading A Canticle for Leibowitz in which mankind twice within several thousand years destroys civilization with nuclear war. In each case, there emerges a cadre which comes to believe in a first strike capability. The results in both cases is utter destruction. It seems that we are at that point now. A Canticle for Leibowitz was first published in 1959.
Between the lousy economy, central bank subversion of the “governments” of the nations of Europe, and what I suspect are NATO (read: central bank) protocols for the assassination any “leader” who resists their war drive, I’m not too optimistic about Europe’s future.
The neocons who control US foreign policy are happy to throw the nations of Europe to the wolves if that’s what it takes for them to prevail against Russia/China/BRICS.
For the 3rd time in 100 years Europeans are being manipulated into fighting anyone and everyone EXCEPT the people who are behind their planned demise. It’s a war-zone waiting to happen
The choice for Merkel, Hollande and the rest appears to be go along and stay rich (at the expense of the entire continent), or buck the banksters and get murdered. Talk about a rock and a hard place.
I’ve been wondering if this is why Angela has gone full retard in the past few months. Surely even she can see where this is going.
Help! I’m from America. Somebody please stop us before we kill again!
Rus’s military review stated its doctrine is defensive, yet recently they said they cannot accept ukraine to be a NATO member-paradox? “In response, a senior official from the Russian Foreign Ministry said that if Ukraine becomes part of the bloc, “we will absolutely have all ties with NATO severed, and such a rift would be virtually impossible to mend.” What else can they do?
Read this double talk from atlantic community-“Historians of the real world will record that, if Ukraine in the future becomes a member of NATO without and against Russia, it will have been due to Russia’s pressures against Ukraine and the West”.Ridiculous but that is what the delusional msm says…….and double talk continues “An alliance official, who spoke on condition of anonymity in keeping with NATO practice, told The Associated Press “our door is open and Ukraine will become a member of NATO if it so requests and fulfils the standards and adheres to the necessary principles.”, despite others saying no way can ukraine fulfill the conditions of membership.
NATO already has trust funds to militarily support Ukraine. Both can never be trusted not to inflict their treacherous chaos onto the world.
“The United States considers the most dangerous potential alliance to be between Russia and Germany. This would be an alliance of German technology and capital with Russian natural and human resources.” So: the U.S. is trying to antagonize Germans against Russia. This will weaken both of them. However, that would be not a “balance of power” but an increasing imbalance of power in favor of the United States” says head of Stratfor. When will Sarah W. and anyone else in Europe dump Merkel, change Germany’s subjugation to USA? When will Europe wake up? It seems hellbent on its own destruction by its passivity and rule by its current load of incompetent and inadequate politicians.Hopefully Austria, Serbia, Hungary Turkey, are really waking up.Can anyone revive the “International” as a cross country political movement? But can anything like that work?50% of Uk people did not believe in Iraq WMD-but the invasion still went ahead………re Don’s comment, any country undermining USA/NATO intentions will be treated/regarded by them as traitorous surely.
26tWhile agreeing on almost everything, and even ready to admit that Yugoslavia and Albania have been at some point Soviet dependencies, I count only 25 NATO countries as European, and if I was to bend to USA transcontinental cosmogony I would count France among American countries before Turkey among European ones.

Carnage apologists, militarist demagogues, war profiteers, and their fundamentalist Christian cheerleaders charge that those who are unable or unwilling to fathom the hateful logic of their policies are plainly guilty of the terrible crime of being “unrealistic.” For our part, as surrealists, we readily affirm that we despise the so-called “realism” that is based solely on the clumsy hypocrisy, swaggering boorishness, and ecocidal greed of a few cowardly billionaires along with their political/ military/ journalistic yes-men. Quite simply, a “realism” sustained by nothing more than shamelessly arrogant celebrations of degradation, persecution, and miserabilist obfuscation deserves only contempt, scorn, and ridicule.
We say: Neither ruling-class war nor imperial peace! The grubby, counter-revolutionary opportunism of “realistic” realpolitik is no excuse for industrialized mass murder. When the U.S. government’s stooges of Capital try to blackmail us with the pseudo-choice of being “either with us or against us,” we wholeheartedly refuse. In this as in all intercapitalist rivalries, we support neither side. Heeding our imaginations, we pursue an alternative set of terms. We do our best to ignore the flags and sneer at the superstitious calls for some war god’s blessings, and focus instead on our solidarity with the working people of Iraq.

There should never have been a European Union. The cultures of the countries which make up the “union” are as different as the languages they speak. The internal political dynamics are just as different.
It is disturbing to me that the natural tendencies to be “patriotic” -that is the desire to restore and reinforce their traditional cultures- is being smeared as “extreme right-wing” (implying “Nazi”) and anti-Semitic. But, as long as the mainstream media in Europe does so, it makes the majority of people -as well as their public officials- reluctant to support any rejection of the policies determined by Washington and expressed by Brussels.
I believe this piece of news may be of interest but it’s strictly for folks more expert than myself.

Is Russia printing money out of thin air?
Mr. Koenig states “Washington is hell-bent on a war with Russia. It is part of the PNAC (Plan for a New American Century) to take over the world. After Russia, China would follow. That’s the plan.”
Who’s plan? Certainly not the U.S. government’s plan nor the American people’s. I disagree with these statements as facts. If anything, the statements are simply reckless.
The Wikipedia article on “Project for a New American Century” states that “By the end of 2006, PNAC was ‘reduced to a voice-mail box and a ghostly website [with a] a single employee … left to wrap things up’, according to the BBC News. According to Tom Barry, ‘The glory days of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) quickly passed.’
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century.
Don’t you mean “whose plan”?
“In fact, the West led by the naked emperor is currently waging war against Russia on several fronts: relentless anti-Russia, anti-Putin propaganda, by the Zionist-Anglo-Saxon controlled MSM; arming and equipping the Kiev war criminals that has led to at least 5,000 savagely killed Donbass inhabitants most of whom civilians, women and children, and more than a million homeless refugees into Russia; CIA inspired false flag operations, like the downing by Kiev’s air force of Malaysian Air MH17, killing 298 people; a salvo of countless economic sanctions which, albeit, hurt Europe more than Russia; and a currency war with an engineered fall of the ruble, combined with an ‘engineered’ drop of oil prices by conspiring with the Saudi clowns for overproduction, a stab not only at Russia, but also at the economies of others who refuse to bend to Washington’s dictum, like Iran and Venezuela”.
All this they have done so far, and all to no avail as Russia has weathered the storm. They have only ended up hurting themselves. They will carry on in the same vain and worse will come, the more desperate they get the worse will be the atrocities, but with China solidly behind Russia they will not succeed. And moreover God is against them as their deeds and they themselves are a gross affront to the creator. Many may laugh at this especially those with no religious inclinations, but these so called “elites” and their puppets in western governments do not believe there is a God, they believe this is just an opiate for the masses, the “sheep”, they believe they create their own reality. They are Satanists in essence and want to urge in the age of the antichrist where all those not “chosen” are reduced to programmable and controllable biomasses with no spirituality to be exploited for the benefit of the “chosen” few.
So they will carry on their campaign till it gets to the point where they will be left with two stark choices, to either see their own collapse or to go for the military option, and I am totally convinced the psychopaths in Washington would rather see the world go up in flames than to see the end of the American empire. Hitler had the same mentality as these psychos, he dearly wished all the German folk would commit suicide rather than surrender to the allies and the whole country raised to the ground. This is the kind of sick mentality we are talking about. But again they will not succeed because God has set his face against them and their destruction is coming. Evil will never succeed. The only question is, will the European people wake up in time and take back their independence from their governments so they don’t end up in the same sinking ship as America ?
By the way I, like many other people, have always seen the UK government as being a total “poodle” to the US, but I have been thinking a lot about this notion over the past year and now I am not so sure this is actually the case. Maybe they are happy for people to see them as being toadies for the US, while the actual truth might be closer to the hidden partner behind the scenes setting out policy. Any thoughts ?
to
know the truth:
You are on the right track. The institutional roots of empire are far older and deeper in Britain than in the USA. We have had our own American Tories in our midst before, during and after the Revolutionary War, and they have frequently hijacked the republic born of that struggle, But what counts is not so much the geographical, state locus from which evil policies seem to be emanating, but rather the genealogy and the institutional centrality of the evil, in terms of its most recent as well as its oldest roots: Empire serving an oligarchy which is hostile to Ben Franklin’s republic, and determined not to “keep it” but rather to strangle it with lies with such American agents of empire aspiring to become a part of an “eternal” ruling oligarchy and to perpetuate their line within that evil tradition, instead of keeping the idealistic, but “impractical” republic. After FDR’s death, they substantially took over, once again, with their imperial mentors’ dictum of “British Brains, American Brawn”. Wink, wink. Thatcher “stiffening the spine” of G. H. W Bush, Tony Blair coaching the neo-con war hawks of the Dubya Bush and Obama administrations are just two memorable recent examples. There is a lot more hope of turning the tables on them within the USA, then later the UK, than the reverse. A lot more.
Ukraine is never going into NATO. If the Ukies find themselves in NATO, they will be wearing Polish uniforms and speaking Polish.
The US will never fight a war against a substantial military. (Tribes in the desert or caves don’t count as militaries).
There won’t be nuclear war.
There may be nukes used to put an end to an insane attack on Russia. Very small tactical nukes, not city destroyers.
The main weapons in force and showing effectiveness are economic. Russia was primed since 1991 for just such a destabilization attack.
It will rattle around until China gets good and pissed about it. Then the message will be sent to the U.S. to cease and desist.
The real danger is Japan. It is a nation that is going to hell, getting old, buried in Liberal mistakes and thinking it is 1930 all over again.
There, in Tokyo, is the really bad proxy force, evil to the core, emboldened by the U.S. to challenge both Koreas and China. And militarizing itself for war. Japan already has drawn the Philippines into its orbit.
In this region, Russia will be the safeguard for China.
Ironical that the threats to Russia will be shield by China, and vice versa. Russia will bolster China in the East Asian region.
The US military plans are all dead ends.
Only trade, investment, finance, banking, credit and currency weapons are left for the Hegemon.
And they are deadly with little blowback to the U.S.
They actually worsen things for the EU, but that is good for the U.S.
The Russians have China to help them. But they must act swiftly and surely to defend against the economic attacks. The hegemony will persist until Russia unlocks from Europe. Trade substitution must begin in earnest.
“It looks like the economic and propaganda war is being won by Russia. On the political western front things are crumbling too. Hungary’s government, a member of the EU and of NATO, has just declared an alliance with Russia against Washington. A cautionary note. There could be a duplicitous intent involved in joining the SCO by countries like Turkey. That of infiltration of these alternate unions by the ZPC/NWO using seemingly now disloyal colonies. It’s one of the ways they maintain control in the west and I wouldn’t put it past them to attempt to take over or disrupt their new rival in such a manner. Turkish quislings have shown themselves to be especially untrustworthy.

To Serendipity,
I think this belief that in a Nuclear war Russia would only nuke Europe is the reason we are in this mess.
As long as the US believes that they are protected and the war would happen across the Atlantic and not in their own backyard … is naive.
What Russia has shown is that it has the backbone to take the war to its enemies, and the weapons they have prepared will reach the US.
In a battle, when one is fighting two opponents, you do not leave one standing. The aim is to wound them both and to make sure your own flesh wounds, you can recover from.
One must also consider, that it would be best for US to be destroyed and for Europe to remain, after all Russia’s problem is not with Europe but with America.
The new Muslim Saker blog is very timely and it should have some very relevant discussions. World wars are planned out generations ahead of time. The plan for World War 3, as mapped out by Albert Pike, is right on schedule with all the pieces falling into place with amazing accuracy. The Muslims (who support IS) are being played like a violin – not that they weren’t provoked into it by generations of persecution by the world war planners. Even the Sick Man of Europe (Turkey) is getting up off his sick bed and will play his part. Now Europe is the sick man of Europe, and vulnerable to IS infiltration and beheadings. That’s the plan.

Thank you. Yes, “whose plan”. Now I am reckless.
As a follow up, however, I want to say some more about Mr. Koenig’s article. I have made a comment similar to the following in the past on Saker’s website, but I believe it is relevant here in a modified form. I am addressing this to the Saker.
Saker, you have an outstanding website and provide objective, in-depth analyses of international situations and issues of vital importance. The posted articles and reader comments are generally interesting and informative. Sometimes, however, articles (specifically Mr. Koenig’s article in this case) and reader comments are not based on facts and careful, supporting analysis. There will always be differences of opinion due to varying values, beliefs and backgrounds, but I am alluding to something more than that. In particular, if one scans this article, I see two persistent problems (applicable also to a number of comments made in response to all the articles on your website):
1. The overuse or misuse of demeaning “labels” for people, parties, groups and nations in a loose and reckless manner; and
2. The “reduction fallacy” that riddles many of the arguments and statements made. By the “reduction fallacy” I mean saying that a complex situation X with many contributing factors and causes is nothing but a simple situation or cause Y. (See Google or Wikipedia for details). To give an example, consider a statement such as “The people of country X are simply monsters (or some other demeaning label or outlandish statement).”
I will not hide the fact that I am a loyal American and U.S. Army veteran of Viet Nam. Americans EU people are not all X. That said, however, the Vineyard of the Saker website is outstanding. Your careful reasoning and analysis of issues are to be commended. I am very much interested in the situations in Eastern Europe and Russia, as well as the Middle East. I am against “Non-Governmental Organizations” (NGOs) promoting democracy in other countries, and other features that go along with meddling the affairs of other countries. We all know the game that is going on.
fantastic open letter from Peter Koening! I would love to have written it!
thank you again!

Instead of enjoying a happy multi-national small but rich continent, the international Bankers are milking Europe, and turning its nations into economic and political satellites.
As with Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and South East Europe, they overthrow independent governments in well orchestrated campaigns. The Oligarchs assassinate independent leaders, overthrow (even) elected democratic governments, and use their controlled world media to blame the victims.
Resistance, “by any means necessary” is the only road forward.
The Vision must be determined by the citizens as we struggle. A political culture embodying freely elected Democratic Republics is one fine option. There are others.
The end of the American Democratic Republic on November 22, 1963, presaged 50 years of butchery by the American/Zionist imperialists, and slavery for all other nations, including those of Europe.
For most Americans: History is forgotten, Pride is lost, Honor ungained.
The exceptions are those on the front lines in Novorossiya, earlier in Vietnam, and wherever citizens rise.
Critique,
Vision,
Resistance,
are the 3 indispensible keys to rescuing our only home and forging a happy, free, and prosperous future for the next generations.

(He quotes larchmonter)
Is USA looking for war — nuclear or military?
Go back to movie Dr. Strangelove — the war was caused by a crazy in the army. It doesn’t take a collective USA — abstraction, of course, but a few crazies who are not stopped, and there are lots of crazies in the US.
Chomsky talking about nuclear war said, with all the ‘accidental’ close calls, it”s amazing that it hasn’t happened yet, and the odds for the future are not in our favor. If you fill your house with matches and gasoline you shouldn’t be surprised when disaster strikes.
Bear in mind that if the US first strikes with nukes, even if Russia makes no response the game is over — it will destroy what is left of the world ecology after a bit of time, not to mention the other reverberations. Our species (among many others) is on the edge of extinction already. The gods don’t know if they should laugh or cry.

‘One must also consider, that it would be best for US to be destroyed and for Europe to remain, after all Russia’s problem is not with Europe but with America.’
Well said and this is the right course of action, but izraHELL would also need to be destroyed, as that is command central for these filthy demons.
The US doesn’t have it’s own foreign nor domestic policies, certainly in the sense of being a representative republic. There’s no institutional memory.
American pols have attention spans of years rather than decades, the top tier is solely focused on the election cycle. Their purpose is to steal through legislation as much as quickly as possible.
Who are the folks with the institutional memory, able to project their power through decades? Some names in the DC phone book change relatively quickly, some never. Many are unlisted.

I accept your critique of my post as being valid. Western media is extremely biased. I will read “The Next 100 Years”.
The future belongs countries far from “the west”. Western decline is mostly accepted forecast among Europeans. America will change via demigraphics. Anyway we are marching to the world where both Europe and Usa will have about 10% slice of markets each. 70% will be there in axis Russia- China – India – Africa – Latin America.
Westerb dominance during the last two centuries has been abnormal and based on terror and guns
Western dominance was based at first on superior organisation of the state and the armed forces. Two hundred years ago, the Western powers did not have much better technology than anyone else.
From the latter half of the nineteenth century however, Europe and the US begun to build a colossal technological gap between themselves and the rest of the planet.
This is an advantage that is now rapidly diminishing due to the fact that technology today is becoming increasingly cheaper.
Embattled and sanctioned Iran, can design ballistic missiles and drones for example.

Why America Can’t Stop by M. Khazin
The Henry Kissinger quote is from The Clash of Civilizations by Ben Hunt. Vladimir Putin is called a realist by Alexandr Dugin in Putin vs Putin: Vladimir Putin Viewed From The Right, as is Henry Kissinger. Deng Xiaoping was a realist, as evidenced by his famous quote…who cares if the cat is black or white as long as it catches mice! Ben Hunt is a realist who attempts to put aside ideology or personal preference to see the world as it is.
M. Khazin fears the realists have insufficient influence in the USA, to cooperate going forward in the world’s Prisoner’s Dilemma. M. Khazin’s article has a deeper insight, than his weak understanding of monetary theory and practice. He is not a realist, as is VVP….but he lived through the collapse of pure ideological state
socialism and sense’s the similar dilemma in the USA. How to change without collapse! The USA is a socialist oligarchy, without realism to accommodate a dynamic world change in political economy and international monetary affairs.
Anyway….here is Ben Hunt’s favorite war criminal concerned about fanatics of ideology blowing up the vertical structure of the world to please their domestic fanatics ….The world is a mixtus orbis and hard to judge!
“Side by side with the limitless possibilities opened up by the new technologies, reflection about international order must include the internal dangers of societies driven by mass consensus, deprived of the context and foresight needed on terms compatible with their historical character. As diplomacy is transformed into gestures geared toward passions, the search for equilibrium risks giving way to a testing of limits. …
Because information is so accessible and communication instantaneous, there is a diminution of focus on its significance, or even on the definition of what is significant. This dynamic may encourage policymakers to wait for an issue to arise rather than anticipate it, and to regard moments of decision as a series of isolated events rather than part of a historical continuum. When this happens, manipulation of information replaces reflection as the principal policy tool.”

Stop it with the chess player analogy.
Chess has absolute, fixed rules including time, place and setting not subject to change during a contest,in writing, total transparency, and understood by all players; all actions/moves overt, fully observable the rules totally enforced of by a referee whose own actions are also observable.
Realpolitic, not at all similar, by actual demonstration and experience, to any of the above features of chess.
Totally different games, yet each a game having players, opponents, benefit/prize for the winner.
These distinctions can be easily learned and used for better understanding of events.

“Stop it with the chess player analogy.”
It will be intertesting to see how successful you will be in that endeavour.
The notion of “chess” has useful ideological connotations as well as being a comfort blanket infering a level of “intellectual attainment” and “complexity in thought” to others who will protect.
When some notions prevalent in various cultural zones such as the Anglo-Saxon are added say
Knowledge is a tool used to embarrass/bludgeon one.
Knowledge is the preserve of a “priestly caste” acting on my behalf.
such challenge will likely lead to initial adverse reflex response.
As you note “chess” is quite a simple linear game, whilst life is lateral.
A possible question to ponder and test is

Ideology and perception being functions of immersion.

The EU, unwilling or unable to express Sovereign Right, uses the SR of the USA as a proxy. Until the Germans (who else in Europe?) take responsibility for the EU, it will continue to do so. The US is so convenient, especially for several purported nations in Europe which tend to elect sexual predators and whoremasters to represent them.
“How dare the US to change (or wanting to change) elected officials in foreign countries?”
quoting news: “Germany has warned Greece that it is on a collision course with the European Union as the country’s far-Left anti-austerity opposition stands poised to win a snap election in four weeks’ time.”
“Wolfgang Schäuble, the German finance minister, stoked the looming conflict by warning Greece that eurozone austerity measures are non-negotiable, regardless of the result of the election and the will of Greek voters.”
Why can’t the EU tolerate political diversity and pluralism? Why does it threaten those (since Haidar in 1999) who express an opinion contrary to the ruling clique in Brussels?

Your arguments are well stated. I understand your views. I don’t have any answers, only questions myself. Let me try to share with you some views of an average American, out of the mainstream, but only commenting on what I see within the U.S. and what is happening around the world.
Providing comments on the Saker’s website is a little like walking down a jungle trail laced with booby traps. The effort is well meaning but the consequences are always unexpected. Yet, however, there are risks and unintended consequences in everything we do. The same applies to actions by the U.S. and its allies.
Let’s talk about ideals. I believe the U.S. actions are related to several ideals, among others:
1. Promote Democracy and Human Rights. This includes taking actions to prevent abuses by governments in other countries.
2. Protect the sovereignty of nations. This includes protecting against dissolution by inside and outside dissident groups. The American Civil War was fought to keep the Union together.
3. Prevent aggression by nations against other sovereign nations. World War II was fought over this issue.
4. Maintain U.S. security at home and around the world.
What have been U.S. actions taken in response to these ideals? The U.S. diplomatic efforts and military support in the Ukraine are intended to reflect these ideals. U.S. actions in the Middle East also reflect these ideals. How have U.S. actions worked out? Very badly of course. The Middle East is strewn with wrecks of broken nations initiated in part by “the Arab Spring”. Syria is a disaster with only the creation of ISIS as a result. That is what risks and unintended consequences are all about. The same can be said about Viet Nam.
My general views on these situations are as follows:
1. Democracy has a rough road in the U.S. and is not suited for nations with strongly dissent groups in opposition to each other. I am against the promotion of democracy by the U.S. in other countries by “Non-Governmental Organizations” (NGOs) and general meddling in the affairs of those countries. We all know what games are being played and by whom.
2. The U.S. has its share of problems: poverty, racial, immigration, health, political, economic, international relations. We are not out to wage war with Russia or “conquer the world”. The “Anglo-Zionist Empire” is only a label for what some see as only one aspect of the U.S., its people, and its allies. The American people in general do not share that view. I would bet that 99.9 percent of the people never heard of the “Plan for the New American Century” discussed by Mr. Koenig.
3. Americans in general do not view Russia as an enemy. In this regard there is nothing more we would rather do than be friends and partners with Russia. People from Russia make up a sizeable portion of the U.S. population, around 3.13 million according to some estimates. Look at Brighton Beach and Little Odessa in New York. Putin is a highly respected leader by many Americans, including myself, notwithstanding the outcries of a number of politicians in the U.S. He is doing an admirable job at a balance act with internal groups and other nations that have a vast range of differing values and beliefs.
4. A general problem with both the U.S. and Russia is the need maintain our interests around the world and vie for influence and respect. This has put both countries in direct confrontation in the Ukraine. I personally believe, we should stay out of that situation. I do, however, believe that Crimea should stay with Russia and if the people of eastern Ukraine want to break away from Kiev they should be allowed to do so in some agreed to manner. As far as Kiev and Moscow are concerned, tension has existed between those two centers off and on for centuries, back to the days of the founding of Moscow as a town.
Best regards to Anonymous and no hard feelings. None of us have the answers. Talking about it in a congenial manner, however, has got to help.

Stavros, it is true Europe, Japan and the US invented extremely lethal weapons in the 19th century. However, big deadly cannons were manufactured in Europe in the 16th century. They were eventually replaced by light artillery, that had the advantage of rapid movement and proved even more deadly in the 17th century. As best as I can tell, the rest of the world had nothing like it.
China and Iran have come a long way, but they started late and they are not ready yet.
On the other hand, though technology is a great tool, determined and disciplined soldiers must never be underestimated. I heard Obama say the US can win any conventional war and I simply do not believe him. In such a war, boots on the ground is what counts. Obama relies on air superiority, planes and drones, and does not want to admit the Talibans are still there. In 1999, US helicopters, being sitting ducks in mountainous areas in former Yugoslavia, were useless and the US military knew it. When Kosovo was conquered, NATO found to its embarrassment it had bombed inflated tanks and heatseeking devices while leaving the Yugoslav army almost intact. And what happened to the US stealth plane? The “invisible” plane was shot down.
About a week ago, the world remembered the Battle of the Bulge. The German Ardennes offensive took the allies by surprise and the allies lost 100.000 men. When the skies cleared, the allies had air superiority and the German offensive was stopped, but the allies also were stopped. The commanders did not dare advance far into Germany, they expected more surprises, and, as a result, the Sovjets took Berlin. It is good to have air superiority, but if you want to conquer, your soldiers must take control of the enemys land.

US used as proxy? Thanks for the laugh!”
“The Germans” should not be the “responsible” masters of Europe. Everybody would fall over us and accuse us of being the 4.Reich (as Brits have done years ago). I assure you, the majority of Germans is against such a role.
Hinting at voting into gov predators and whoremasters is quite an accusation. Could you pls substantiate the “hint”?
You are probably not talking about some vile Brits?
I agree with your citations of Merkel, Schäuble and the EU gang. They should not threaten Greece.
But do you remeember how “things” were handled with Papandreou and in Italy with Monti?
Remeber how many times Ireland had to vote until the “EU” got the right result?
And what about the former votes in France and the Netherlands?
See, the EU HAS balls when it comes to threats and who knows what else.
“Why can’t the EU tolerate political diversity and pluralism? Why does it threaten those (since Haidar in 1999) who express an opinion contrary to the ruling clique in Brussels?”
For a simple reason: the EU is afraid of losing their unelected power, the huge funds, pressed out of european taxpayers. Do I have to explain to you how monster bureaucracies function?
They try to grow fast like a malignant cancer – everywhere. Just look at the Obama USA admin.
“The USA provides the Sovereign Right you need to exist in the world of nations”
“Provides”? Sorry, no.
The US has broken their promises given in 1989/90 by Bush sen. and James Baker.
And many Germans are by now aware that Germany is NOT a sovereign state but a country with hardly any sovereignty.
Let me cite for you art. 139 of the basic law:
Artikel 139
Die zur “Befreiung des deutschen Volkes vom Nationalsozialismus und Militarismus” erlassenen Rechtsvorschriften werden von den Bestimmungen dieses Grundgesetzes nicht berührt.
http://dejure.org/gesetze/GG/139.html
“nicht berührt” means that they are still valid!
WHAT are they exactly?
We can see it daily in our lives, Amerikanski. And in the EU too.
You can easily find a youtube vid with Schäuble saying that Germany had never real sovereignty since 1945.
So, under WHOs boot are we?
Maybe you can answer my question.

In the UN, Germany ist still seen as an enemy state (Feindstaat).
Did you know this?
And why is it so, 70 years after end of WWII?
Just a little bit food for thought, Amerikanski.
The Project for a New American Century is alive and well, renamed Foreign Policy Initiative.

Dear on!
Surely Europe has leaders who can see the truth of this article?
Europeans cannot possibly be that blind to the threat to their very existence, can they?

“The USA provides the Sovereign Right you need to exist in the world of nations. If you don’t like it, assert yourself on the world stage and take the consequences.

I am not a German but I have family in Germany and I happen to know that Germany is not a sovereign state: it has no peace treaty with the US, its “Grundgesetz” (basic law) contains the infamous article 139 which renders the basic law partly irrelevant. Additionally it still has US troops on its soil so the only common sense explanation is that Germany is still treated as a conquered and occupied territory by the victor.
As to showing balls, have a look at your own country:
Your government is destroying its middle class, encouraging massive latino immigration, destroying the family and encouraging homosexuality, heavily arming the police + a number of departments, making FEMA preparations, overriding your constitutional rights by secret courts etc etc etc — and where are your hoi polloi?
It’s not wise to throw stones when you are sitting in glass house.
@ NotSoFast
31 December, 2014 00:36
You are spot on! Thanks.
The german gov is carefully hiding these things and nobody is asking the big question in public, strangely enough.
Most of our “intellectuals” and of course the despicable presstitutes behave as they did in the past i.e. cowards, bowing and bending instead of being inquisitive and demanding to hear the truth.
Does all this point to stealth US threats – they have approx. 70 men sitting right inside Germany…in their little “homelands” which they seldom leave to join Germans.
On top of it, they and the Brits are permanently spying on us and our industry (Snowdon). They are definitely no friends.
Many Germans have come to hate Americans over time.
Happy new year!
NATO will launch a massive military invasion against Russia , similar to the Napoleonic campaign.
The new grand army will be a coalition of the willing of useful idiots. Mostly thousands of Ukrainians, balts and other mercenaries willing to fight Russians. Also there will be thousands of Americans especially pilots with technical support from EU.
In order to prepare for war , USA will secretly fund the training and modernization of the Ukrainian Baltic armies and provide missiles, tanks, aircrafts.
About 300,000 Ukrainians, 50,000 balts, and 50,000 Americans with 500 aircraft’s and 1500 tanks.
Use of nuclear weapons is out of question.
So, there will be a conventional war. A puppet Ukraine together with Baltic states will invade Russia. They will have the support of thousands of US troops disguised as “Ukrainian” and will use USA made tanks, missiles, aircrafts etc
Their aim will be to take over Crimea, st Petersburg, moschow, and to arrest Putin and to charge him with crimes against humanity, to install democracy into Russia.
It will be a blitzkrieg war. If Russia tries to retaliate with nuclear weapons, USA will punish Russia.
With the element of surprise, there is a good chance that it will be successful. If not, Ukraine and Baltic states will be obliterated.
No worries for the USA which doesn’t really cares about these countries
“Hungary’s government, a member of the EU and of NATO, has just declared an alliance with Russia against Washington.”
That’s a contradiction

“aim”
Aiming is most sucessful when vision is clear and focused.
You may not have noticed but these are the qualities of which the opponents have seen to be bereft.
“US used as proxy?
Thanks for the laugh!”
It is US sovereignty that the EU uses as a proxy for its non-existent sovereignty.
Wikipedia has a decent definition:
“Sovereignty, in layman’s terms, means a state or a governing body has the full right and power to govern itself without any interference from outside sources or bodies.”
and
“The European Union concept of shared sovereignty is also somewhat contrary to historical views of Westphalian sovereignty, as it provides for external agents to interfere in nations’ internal affairs.
The bolded part is what is commonly understood as imperialism.
What is “shared”?
A monetary system, foreign policy, international trade, and (via NATO) military command — but also “values”, an ideological construct.
In the current situation (Ukraine), it is obvious a substantial part of the EU nations do not agree with the official EU policy — I am referring to states and governments, not the sentiments of people at street level.
What consultative process exists for resolution or compromise among these views — besides “interference”?
In the fundamental issues of sovereignty: money, military, foreign policy, international trade, the EU appears to be tailing the US, which probably near everyone reading this blog thinks hurts the EU — as Orban said, the EU is shooting itself in the foot.
“The Germans” should not be the “responsible” masters of Europe. Everybody would fall over us and accuse us of being the 4.Reich (as Brits have done years ago). I assure you, the majority of Germans is against such a role.”
Some one has to do it or the EU will disintegrate. What else but Germany?
The US endures the blight of genociding nearly a continent, and enslaving millions of Africans. Russia endures the blight of 70 years of Sovietism.
This is why “balls” are required. The EU is too big, too globally consequential, to be a slacker, poliically.
“Hinting at voting into gov predators and whoremasters is quite an accusation. Could you pls substantiate the “hint”?
You are probably not talking about some vile Brits?
Berlusconi, Hollande, and Strauss-Kahn should be on the tip of your tongue. Merkel can probably supply the names of others.
Best wishes to all for the New Year, and to the Orthodox, a blessed Christmas.
