Check out this video of diplomats of the EU (and a few others) laying flowers on the location where a Belarusian recently died:
This action is truly breathtaking in its hypocrisy and total delusion.
Why?
Well, for one thing, these guys don’t realize that their reputation has been roadkill ever since they “guaranteed” the deal between Ianukovich and the Urkonazis, a deal which, as we all know was broken the next day. I would even argue that the moral authority of EU leaders has been exactly zero since they joined the AngloZionist in their war against the Serbian nation. Oh, and did I mention that the Europeans are also the prime culprits for what happened in both the Ukraine and Libya? Bottom line – unless your IQ floats somewhere in the low 70s, you know that the crocodile tears of EU politicians mean absolutely nothing.
But it gets “better”.
The guy who died did so while trying to toss some kind of home made bomb at law enforcement officers. That makes him a terrorist, at least under US law.
Apparently, when a bad terrorists screws up and kills himself, that makes him a good terrorist. At least in the eyes of the leaders of the AngloZionist Empire.
Can you imagine what would happen if, say, the Russian, Venezuelan, Iranian and Chinese diplomats came to every location where a wannabe cop-killer had been killed (by his own mistake or by cops) in the US or France?
It is also rather funny to see representatives of countries like the USA or France (which both brutally beat up and even kill demonstrators) giving lessons in “democracy” to a regime which killed far LESS people than in most “western democracies”.
Back to the real world now.
The reason why western diplomats engaged in this totally silly PR action is not the outcome of some kind of clever plan. Not at all! This is yet another case of “to a person with a hammer everything looks like a nail”: they engage in this behavior because that is all they are halfway good at. Yanks and Israelis like to kill lots of civilians, Europeans love to virtue signal how “dignified” and “civilized” they are. The fact that nobody takes them seriously anymore does not bother them one bit (they are mostly utterly unaware of this).
Truly – the Old World became the (cheap, or even unpaid) prostitute of the AngloZionist Empire.
How utterly disgusting.
Right now the Empire is basically reusing the “Ukrainian textbook” on Belarus. All we miss is Nuland handing out bagels to rioters.
I can all repeat that left by itself Belarus will never be able to withstand the combined forces of the Empire, at least not in the long term. A full return to Russia is the one and only possible option for Belarus to be free.
The Saker
UPDATE: I have just heard that all the Russians arrested by the Belarusian KGB have been returned to Russia. This is very good and extremely important, as it shows that Lukashenko did not dare hand over a single man to the Ukronazi regime. Excellent!
Iraq, Syria, Libya, the ukraine etc showed us how much our elected prostitutes love their “good terrorists”, that these parasites are honoring a wannabe terrorist in Belarus is no surprise.
The fact that these parasites are allowed to walk amongst us with no consequences not even get spat at is depressing sometimes, we get the politicians we deserve i guess.
“A full return to Russia is the one and only possible option for Belarus to be free”
-Is this actually something the people of Belarus want? Is there any opinion polls that shows that the people would vote to join Russia given the option? Like the people of Crimea did.
Nobody knows for sure, since independent polls are illegal in Belarus.
My guess is that most Belarusians would find independence and some integration with Russia ideal. But as the situation evolves for the worse (and it will), they will realize that this is not an option anymore.
Think of Belarus as an “oversized northern Donbass”.
Kind regards
The Saker
If Belarus is an “oversized Northern Donbass”, Putin will likely treat it like Donbass. Which has not been incorporated into Russia though demanding to be.
Rather than an “oversized Donbass” I think it will more likely be an “oversized South Osetia”.
Donbass (or, rather, DNR and LNR; they still haven’t formalized any union yet) only appeared recently, as a reaction to the fascist coup in Ukraine; and while Stateship building has gone a long way, it is still young, and internationally unrecognized.
South Osetia has a longer independent history, and if their formal recognition is quite recent (2008) and by few countries, it however does have some international recognition; and the the union with Russia is built in that framework (independent States very strongly bond together)
Here’s a summary of the EU’s polls on this:
https://belsat.eu/en/news/public-opinion-poll-support-for-integration-with-russia-plummeting-in-belarus/
Public opinion poll: Support for integration with Russia plummeting in Belarus
2020.02.10 09:01
The number of Belarusian citizens who feel that a union with Russia would be most advantageous has decreased by one-third over the past year. According to pollster Prof. Andrei Vardomatski, pro-Russian attitudes have never slumped to this extent in 20 years of research.
Jan.2018=63.9%Russia, 20.2%EU; Sep.2019=54.8%Russia, 24.4%EU; Dec.2019=40.4%Russia, 32%EU, but 74.6% “Belarus and Russia should be independent, yet friendly countries, with open borders and no visas or customs duties” (like now).
CONSEQUENTLY:
Russia needs to make clear to Belarusans that if they go with the EU, they will become another Ukraine.
I have yet to meet a young Belarusan who want to integrate with Russia, whom they associate with Stalin who imprisoned at least one of their family members back in the day. Yet, when I recently asked one of them ‘what do you actually want?’, he replied, ‘get rid of Lukashenko’. That is, he has no idea what he actually WANTS.
He says Belarus has no good future, or a future at all. And that’s his problem.
They’ve succumbed to mere cynicism and basically nihilism like much of the West and the post Soviet republics.
They are certainly not “at the right place at the right time” -I weep in my soup.
@subhuti37
Dont ask ordinary Belarusan what they want, they want money, titles and nice looking homes and dont care if it is Hitler or Pol Pot who are the giver.
Leadership is doing what is good for the country AGAINST the sheeple’s will. Education of the people can to some extent align to reality, but dont require the sheeple to decide anything important.
Belarus needs to talk to some people in Greece about what its like being a poorer nation within the EU.
I’d have said the same things to Ukrainians 7 years ago. Plus, not only does Belarus have the example of the southern EU states, they should be able to learn from the example of Ukraine next door.
The bankers want cheap labor and fools who will take on more debt. Beyond that, they don’t care if you live or die.
It’s pathetic what is happening in this small Russian province called Belarus. It’s like a script that is announced and read before our eyes and in many ways what we have seen in many color revolutions before.
The most painful fact is, that all pro-Russian parties are sitting in a kind of dispassionate shock and awe while another Russian stateled is turned against them. I gotta say the incompetence of Putin’s government in ex-Soviet affairs is outer-worldly. Always trying to buy influence with foreign oligarchs and bribing the leadership has spectacularly failed in UKRland. Now they sit idly by while it happens again. If this shit doesn’t mobilize Russians now, nothing will. They wait and watch how, one by one, enemy states are created out of its neighbors. What are they upgrading their forces for, if their allies and increasingly their homeland is imploding from within. Worse, they are financing their implosion from within (Gazprom media).
Russians are you even noticing? Do you even care? Why isn’t there a mobilization of society? Why is the economy led by traitorous comprador elites? Why is Putin putting up everything needlessly on the line – what he built up till now – by his seemingly inaction? Not enough enemies? Or is Russia too weak, then we are hypocrites to even look at this blog if we believe that Russia is too weak and will break if it’s attacked – then it’s a done deal and there is nothing to talk about.
All this nonsense, instead of curbing all this waste spending on oligarchs and fools, Russia deliberately chooses to not support media like this blog and homegrown patriotic media. Worse they let them fend for themselves on hostile platforms like youtube…. this is getting beyond ridiculous. All this spending on health, infrastructure, space etc. becomes a joke if your country seizes to exist – like with ukrland, like georgia and before all the stans and baltic states. It’s now even dangerous to be a Russian in my birthplace, as waves of ethnic cleansing went past in these societies – esp. Kyrgyzstan is becoming an islamic ethnostate by the year. Kazakhstan changing it’s Cyrillic alphabet to the Latin one. Just take a look at “Fergana Valley” where Hizb-ut Tahrir is operating – DO YOU NOT F SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING? Do you think that the 201st Motorized Rifle Division In Tstan will help you if a radicalized population will overthrow their dictators, clans and so called leadership? These ungrateful B* are your enemies now, well done.
The world is fracturing in so many Neo-feudal pieces that it doesn’t make any sense to speak about states anymore. We have a globalized network of fiefdoms and technology makes it more and more possible to make small islands of happiness, surrounded by a see of fire. It’s the same outlook everywhere the rich have their islands and city-states, gated communities or parts of cities, their schools and transport, while the rest has to contend with a degrading public. Russia isn’t excluded – most of the country except big cities look dilapidated.
I’m outta here
Sadly True – whoever owns the media owns the people, everything else is a waste of time. And when you own the media you own the country. Meanwhile Russian and Chinise leadership are just interested is filling there Swiss bank accounts while the masses are programmed to worship the American dream. The empire spends a trillion dollars a year on weapons and propaganda and the resistance have to beg money for a new laptop – this is getting beyond silly
“I’m outta here” makes sense, but its sad.
I feel that more people no longer believe in American Dream. It may have held sway 40 years ago. Not today. The world can see American for what it is. Especially now with COVID 19, the carefully constructed propaganda is crumbling.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/51786.htm
As George Carlin once said “they call it American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it” And now with US provoking Russia and China, both leadership and the people are seeing America for what it is. I am telling you, a day will come, when for US having a faithful ally and a friend among nations will be something that America will cherish above anything in this world.
https://journal-neo.org/2019/08/28/the-not-so-subtle-moral-decay-of-the-us-military/
Read the above article, particularly the end. The fact that this happening in Poland, one of the most pro US nations in the world, it definitely is saying something. Russia may look not in the best shape outside cities, however in my opinion, USA looks in many places way worse. There are no excuses for supposedly wealthiest nation in history to have such rotting third world infrastructure. People come to the US. They see with their own eyes what it has turned into:
https://truthout.org/articles/america-what-happened/
World is not blind!
Most people think that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence until they taste it. Why the repressions in Ukraine? The grass on the other side of the fence did not taste so well so what are the options–propaganda? Well, you cant eat propaganda. Reason? Well, you can’t reason with someone who sees theft at home as different from the theft that they want to participate in.. Force? Well, that is the only thing left and that only works until an equal and opposite force is applied.
In 2003 at least some European leaders like President Chirac of France and Chancellor Schroeder of Germany had shown a bit of dignity opposing the war of the Empire against Irak. Now it is no more, the whole of the EU is a puppet of the Empire; Russia, China and Iran must understand they cannot find a compromise with these people.
But they enjoyed the destruction of Yugoslavia. So sorry, they get no credit from me.
The Empire seems to fight a lot with France and Germany, and appears to constantly try to use the Eastern Europe dictators against them. Not so sure its the solid bloc that some want to claim it is.
Slchroeder was afraid of losing the upcoming elections. Fortunately he didn’t send any troops. Nevertheless he financially supported the efforts of the Empire.
(By the way: Did he revoke permissions for military transports using German air space?)
I am still waiting the EU flowers for the 10 Gilets Jaunes macron s regime killed.
Leaders in the West are consistent hypocrites always grasping for more power, riches, and privilege. They cloak themselves in virtue while pushing buttons for suffering, death, and destruction. They are supported by extensive networks of cadres that live off the expanding horror show they are pushing out on all humanity. They tell us their fake war on terrorism is to protect us while they create, aid, and abet the very terrorists they are supposedly fighting. They are working hard to bring the horror show to Belarus.
Indeed, the pressure mounts fast, and one hopes the authorities in Belarus have understood that this goes beyond their election results. Pompeo says he plans to mobilize “the world” against Lukashenko to achieve “better outcomes for the Belarusian people”… Well, he has already mobilized the EU, and other vassals will follow suit.
The Germans seem particularly keen on doing Lukashenko in – even more than the Poles…
Merkel seriously doubts the elections were free and fair, is shocked at the law enforcement “violence against peaceful protestors”, and condoles with families of the victims of what, given her tone, must surely be massive massacres?
Maas wants “significantly increased pressure”, a vote re-count, sanctions, and whatnot, while Poland calls for “free re-elections” – and is meanwhile inciting an opposition exodus: Parliament has instructed the government to fast-track political refugee reception & assistance…
Difficult for Belarus to survive such a sustained “tir groupé” on her own…
“The Germans” aren’t keen on anything. It’s German politicians who’re trying to lure more Eastern European wage slaves into the land of milk and honey.
Which EU factions do these dingbats belong to?
The usual insane and unhinged “woke” crowd?
Imo, the distinction matters.
For whether the EU has a will of its own (despite all ze German bravado).
For Germans (non-Merkel fans) to be this stupid, it’s would be total comedy.
”Which EU factions do these dingbats belong to?
The usual insane and unhinged ’woke’ crowd?”
Answer: They belong to the Euro-trash. A very fine, sophisticated, and cosmopolitan breed which has no room for people with dubious attitudes to European values.
Your anti-white hatred is pathological . Do tell us where you hail from ?
What did he say that was anti white? I don’t see anything that any reasonable person would call anti white.
He or she only seemingly talks ill of Europeans or other whites. Prove me wrong.
I talk ill of Europeans myself. Why not? They’ve sold themselves, their countries, cultures, even their history, to the Great Satan. How would that make me anti white? Incidentally, I consider, like Rudyard Kipling, that Russia is the westernmost Asian nation, not the easternmost European country, complexion be damned. Melanin count is a ridiculous standard for gauging behaviour.
It is not just Europeans. Sadly, India also seems to sold itself out. Conflict with China, which is not in its best interest, I have listened to Arundati Roy and she spoke on how India is becoming a cruel society with indifference to the poor.
Every society has prolblems. With all due respect before talking about Putin and Russia, please look into your countries backyard. Everyone has problems and everyone is solving them in the best way they think is possible.
I have literally been investigated by the Indian Army’s Military Intelligence as a potential or suspected subversive, so it’s not as though I’m silent about the crimes of the Modi regime, or in fact any Indian regime post 1947. If the Saker posted articles on India I would respond there appropriately. So there’s no need to advise me on that.
Ok. I apologize for my comment. Russia, Ukraine have their own problems. It is up to Russians and Ukrainians to solve their respective problems. Also regarding, Donbass, there are people on both sides of the conflict. War affects everyone. Both sides are suffering. For Putin, situation is complex, and there are no easy answers. This is the world we live in. Putin tried to be proactive. Not too long ago when he was talking about new russian weapons, and gave a warning that any attack will be retaliated. Western media did not listen to the message, instead it went into hysteria, and started saying Putin wants to make war. We are dealing with people who have a nuclear arsenal, and who are making their own reality. For them, truth and facts do not matter. You have to be careful with such people.
At the end, please stay safe, my friend.
It’s no secret where I hail from; just search a little among my comments 😌
Russians are white for the most part as are Syrians. These are two of the world’s peoples that I admire very much. Pindos and Euro-trash, regardless of complexion, not so much.
She recides in Sweden and is utterly bonkers. Hope that helps. She is an arab-hugger. Do not engage, mentally ill.
Naughty you 😂
Besides, it’s spelt resides, love.
Den lille abe is a recidivist-you G.Nazi xx.
@Den lille abe
As much as I object to Nussiminen’s use of “Euro-trash”, I wouldn’t hold his/her nationality against him/her. What difference would it make if he/she weren’t Swedish?
On another note, I wonder what he/she thinks of his/her own fellow Swedes – are they just as much ‘Euro-trash’ as the other nationalities?
Why aren’t color revolutions run from outside the target country considered acts of aggression?
They are pure aggression. Most are thinly cloaked as domestic uprising.
But all of them are paid for, trained, organized, and managed by external operatives.
And once the snipers start shooting, it is clearly nothing but an act of war.
Thanks for the update re Lukashenko. He had a choice of several scenarios:
A. Flee with only the shirt on his back (Yanukovich)
B. Get sent to the Hague for a genocide trial and then poisoned (Milosevic)
C. Get lynched in the street (Ghaddafi)
D. Remain in power and re-orient his country toward Russia ( Erdogan – sort of, as it seems he has forgotten who saved his hide)
Glad that he has chosen D.
To choose option under pressure is not a choice at all …
A. Flee with only the shirt on his back (Yanukovich) – Flee to where? To Russia?
B. Get sent to the Hague for a genocide trial and then poisoned (Milosevic) – Is this even a valid option for Lukashenko?
C. Get lynched in the street (Ghaddafi) – His only true option. Stand your ground. Right or wrong.
D. Remain in power and re-orient his country toward Russia – Temporary option, until pressure ends. Russians know this as well.
E. Saddam Hussain -hanged by a Stephen Fry type ‘Tribunal’-Mehhh.
These people know what they do. They have made a decision to do whatever is asked of them for position, career, money whatever it is. They must have to perform mental gymnastics to hide from themselves what they are doing – but on some level – they know. Imagine having to lie to yourself every day to avoid the crushing self disgust that would otherwise overwhelm you ?
Whatever the pay off is the price is too high – they have sold their souls.
Souls have a way of also creating damage, so, if a soul needs to be sold, say for gold, then I say to highest bidder it be.
“Need” to sell a soul? Nobody is forced to sell her / his soul. It’s a personal choice. But be warned: Gold can’t buy health, love, happiness or a place in heaven.
A couple of small things of interest:
“Just watched live the ‘detained children’ being released by Byelorus FSB. Vast majority were mid 20’s to mid 30’s, professionals all. A lot of them tried to hid their faces and one guy at the very end walked out the door, turned around and asked FSB to let him back in. They said ‘Sure, if you want, come on back in.” From VCO.
“An hour ago VCO was watching a vid, live feed, of Minsk, Independence Square, in front of a ‘large government building’. A line of men was standing well in front of the building and obviously ready to prevent any forced entry. News spoke to one, a Sarjant with his riot armor, helmet, shield and oak shampoo administration device, and another soldier in the line. VCO started laughing. She says there is quite a subtle difference in spoken Russian Byelorus vs. Russia which she, a native Russian speaker, instantly identified. She clearly and adamantly ID’d the two who spoke as Russian servicemen, not only their spoken Russian but their clearly Russian militaryspeak.”
The stream of heavy lift cargo planes shuttling between Russian and Minsk, Russian and Byelorusan aircraft, is apparently the answer to EU/Foggy Bottom. Methinks another crisis is afoot, as if we don’t have enough already.

I would have hoped that Russia and VVP were prepared for this to happen. It was obvious… After Kiev, it seems nothing is sacred for the west. It is ready to trample over whatever, just to strangle Russia (and China in time). Lukashenko has another option – maybe – to wait it out, if that is still possible. But the strikes at factories is a bad sign – wonder how widespread they are.
It does seem like the world is coming apart at the seams… Iranian tankers seized, some EU/US proclamation about an alternate govt for Venezuela, Beirut crisis (likely also an attempt at a colour revolution), and the news about Pompous in Prague, demanding obedience.
What I don’t get is that Germans seem upset over the sabotage of NordStream II, but don’t see that colour revolutions are all part of the same scenario. Are they daft, bought up, or just stupid?
Not stupid – their priority is to get Nordstream 2 completed then see about being a bit more independant.
” The reason why western diplomats engaged in this totally silly PR action is not the outcome of some kind of clever plan. ”
The real reason is to let the current protestors, and possible protestors, know that the Western world has their back, and to encourage more protests. Its all rather simple. By already backing down, Lushenko has guaranteed that Belarus will fall to the ZioWest. It seems no lessons were learned from the Ukraine.
When did President Lukashenko ‘back down’?
By releasing the ” protestors ” so early and By his minister appologizing for governemnt caused injuries during the ” peacful protests “. This was a fatale mistake, you never back down to Zio provications . Now the ZioWest has smelled blood and will not stop till Belarus is done. Great job Lushenko and Putin.
The protesters may not get a favourable reception on arrival in Russia

You are absolutely sure, so you must have seen the full vid of the ‘children’ being released from Byelorus FSB. I don’t have the vid link but VCO does and we watched it live, that release of perfectly healthy mid ’20’s to late 30’s professional rioters, most of whom tried mightily to hide their faces and most, read almost all, of whom did not have Byelorus documents for residency or citizenship.
Auslander
So are you suggesting they are Ukrainians?
I did not say where they are from, I said they are not from Byelorus. A lot of the rioters in Maidan were not from Ukraine, including the snipers at the end.
So the answer is obvious. Kick out every single person attending that, with no exceptions. And order the closure of any NGO and non-Embassy structure they have,Reduce the numbers of “diplomats” at those Embassies. As “should” have been learned with Ukraine. Those scum won’t stop until they are stopped. Lukashenko (and Russia) saw what happened in Ukraine,he should have prepared for his being next.If the government in Belarus (and Russia) was stupid enough to not have prepared. Then there is no hope for them (either of them),and we waste our time supporting them. There are a lot of things you can fix, stupid is not one of them. So to Lukashenko, and Russia, work like your life depended on it,Because yes,it does.
Exactly, exporting those protesters and removing NGOs is essential to end this mess. They should also close the embassies of countries that support protests.
Q: Why there will never be a color revolution in the US?
A: Because there aren’t any US embassies over there.
Seriously though Luka is a complete idiot if he thought that warming up with the West and having the US embassy back is a good idea, so I am not sure that with his obviously limited mental capacity he will be able to steer out of this delicate situation. Overall this is going to be a very interesting weekend – if they will manage to keep it quiet and prevent any big provocations Tikhanovskaya will probably join Guaido in the league of the “kind and smart legitimate presidents whose country is temporary overrun by an evil dictator”. If not – and this is the more likely outcome – it will be very hard for Russia to work with whoever comes next since it does not seem they invested into working with any opposition to Lukashenko, maybe naively thinking he will stay there forever. And doing a referendum and a Crimea style annexation will be very dangerous. I think the conclusion is that Putin should start working more with opposition in other countries in the future.
“Crimea style annexation”? Did you watch too much western TV?
The stupid Belarusian voters delivered the wrong result, so in typical EU fashion, they willhave to vote again until they get it right.
“A number of EU countries have declared that it is necessary to hold repeated elections in Belarus, otherwise sanctions against Belarus are inevitable. The headquarters of the Belarusian opposition demanded that Lukashenka announce new elections with the participation of all candidates and under international control by September 15.”

Dear The Saker,
In regard to your update – all but 1 Russian National has returned back to Russia. This one individual apparently had dual Belarusian/Russian citizenship:
https://sputniknews.com/europe/202008141080167362-live-updates-eu-wants-more-sanctions-against-human-rights-abusers-in-belarus/
“All But 1 Out of 33 Russian Nationals Detained in Belarus are in Russia, Prosecutor General’s Office Says
“Thirty-two Russian citizens, who were previously detained in Belarus, crossed the Russian state border and are currently in Russia. The thirty-third citizen of Russia, who also has Belarusian citizenship, remained in Belarus”, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office said.
The transfer of these persons was carried out in strict accordance with the norms of international law and the national legislation of Russia and Belarus, the office stressed. “The relevant authorities of Russia will continue to deal with the situation around these citizens”, the statement says.”
So When is the referendum to join Russia going to be held? or more practically, what will the process have to be to get to that point? It seems that the country is heading into a general strike situation and when that happens then who holds state power is on the agenda like in 1968 France/riots/General Strike/DeGaulle when the Trade Unions backed down.
Do you actually beleive the ZioWest would even consider the results of such a referendum ?
Of course it will if, as it’s absolutely certain, people in Belarus reject annexation by Russia in it.
Touche …
Lukashenko isn’t stupid. He knows his head is on the chopping block of the Anglo-Zionist Empire. He knows that he’s dead in the medium/long term if Putin and Russia don’t give him assistance. I just hope that we can at least avoid another western backed bloodbath. Everywhere and everything these filth Anglo-Zionists touch, turns into chaos, suffering and destruction. I mean, it just happens EVERY fucking time! These people are psychopaths that have no moral principals whatsoever. Either we get rid of these bastards, or they are going to get rid of Civilization.
Removed. You have already put this link. Mod.
Flowers? And where are the cookies?
Fatty Mike Pompeo greedily devoured them, while babbling some nonsense about the USA’s “Rules-Based International Order.”
Thanks. I needed that laugh. Pompous is now claiming that he’ll ensure that Iran never buys weapons again (after America emphatically lost the UNSC vote on extending Iran sanctions). How’s he going to do that, plonk his tons of fat down on the runway in front of any plane flying to Tehran?
Hypocrisy is their religion.
The West is in action again. But what is Nero, pardon me Putin, doing. Is he fiddling or is he still watching the Olimpics as he was doing back in 2014?
As I said a few days ago, Putin is totally reactive, never proactive. Putin never ever does anything unless his hand is forced, and sometimes not even then.
Yes! I have said, for many years that what is now the “Made in USA” EU, has been a slathering US vassal since the Marshall Plan. The broken down ghosts of dead empires that want to be born again…… even just a little bit.
Greetings to Saker
I have been following you since the vineyard of the Saker site was in use but I have never commented on anything. But this time I had to make an exception.
I am afraid that Luka is done for, police is standing down getting kisses from the crowd.
Workers are on strike protesting violence,
He was oblivious all these years towards opposition, looking down upon them.
And lately drifting away from Russia(He was for full integration in the past but Moscow was reluctant)
Unfortunately young people are against him just like younger people were in Ukraine because they believe in all the lies That are coming from the good old rotten West.
All of you talking about Crimea scenario in Belarus should be aware that Belarusians do not consider themselves Russian, perhaps they felt like that 100 years ago but not anymore.
Personally I feel sad and disappointed by what is happening, I wish Moscow and Minsk were part of one country. I am very much pro Putin and pro Russia and to a certain extent I understand president Putin’s wait and see approach regarding World politics and Ukraine but if he really wants to keep Russia in one piece for future generations he should have acted earlier in regards to Belarus.
I would add Ukraine too but that ship sadly has sailed.
Let us hope that Lukashenko manages to stay in power and somehow he and president Putin find a common ground and way to fully integrate Belarus with Russia not only in terms of one border one currency and army but Russia must try to convince young Belarusians that their Cultural heritage and ties as well as future lies in the East not phoney EU or USA.
Take care everyone
I agree completely. The Crimea referendum was a safe bet for Russia, which is why it liberated Crimea from the Ukranazi regime in the first place. In Belarus any referendum would get the accession option ground into the ground and mixed into the mud.
Biswapriya Purkayastha
I beg to differ with your analysis. Russia did not ‘liberate’ Crimea from the orcs, it was ‘we the people’, citizens of the Federal City of Sevastopol, who took down the orcs and two days later saved Krimea from the very same orcs and took the Krimea Rada in Simferopol after the orcs clearly and publicly said they would burn Rada to the ground when they were unsuccessful in their attempt to take it the day before. It was only some days later that the polite young men in green appeared, before that we were on our own and perfectly prepared to fight the orcs wherever and whenever. It was ‘we the people’ from Sevastopol who blockaded the entire peninsula/island on 24 February 2014 from the orcs, it was ‘we the people’ who dared the orcs to attack and it was ‘we the people’ who welcomed our Berkut to the block posts two days after ‘we the people’ established them.
Auslander
True enough. You would however have been in the same position as the Donbass republics, de facto independent but still officially part of Ukranazistan, not part of Russia. It is only because Russia was 100% certain that the referendum would get almost 100% of the vote that it was held in the first place. The situation in Belarus is the exact opposite.
spot on Bronski-let us not think of Belarus as “New Poland”
1. Have any of these people said they are in favour of Belarus being annexed by Russia?
(i) All the Belarusian people?
(ii) A majority of the Belarusian people?
(iii) A substantial minority, at least 40%, of the Belarusian people?
(iv) Any group, even a medium sized minority, from the Russian people? Not the Russian government, the people.
2. If the answer to the above, except part (iv), is “no”, what happens if, or rather when
(i) Belarusian people reject, by means of voting in any remotely credible referendum, accession to Russia?
(a) Will Russia back off, suffering a devastating political defeat and certainly alienating Belarusians anyway?
(b) Will it try to coerce Belarus economically, thus immediately driving it into the West’s arms, not to mention their money?
(c) Will it try to bribe the Belarus army to switch sides and compel an accession, with the promise of higher pay and out of turn promotion? How will Russian troops react to this?
(d) Will it invade and occupy Belarus, which will certainly require a major war, the kind of war Russia did not wage against Ukraine with infinitely greater provocation?
(e) If the answer to (c) and/or (d) is “yes”, is Russia prepared for further diplomatic isolation and the certainty of a Western armed, trained, and financed insurgency in Belarus?
(ii) If the answer to 1(iv) is “no”, what happens if the Russian people refuse – at a time when the Russian economy is already under immense pressure and there is social discontent – to take on the financial burden of “integrating” Belarus? What happens when they say, as they did in 1991, “Russia cannot feed the republics”? What will Russia do then?
Which leads me to the next question:
3. Who is going to pay for this? How is it to be financed?
(i) Is it going to be paid for by increasing taxes on Russian and/or Belarusian people?
(ii) Are funds that would normally go to at least try to raise the standards of living of Russian people to what they were under the Soviet Union going to be used for this?
(iii) Is the socialist (80% state owned) Belarus economy going to be sold off to oligarchs to finance this? How would that go down with even pro-Russia Belarusians, assuming there are any? Are they willing to see their economy and living standards sink to the same state as neoliberal capitalist Putinist regime Russia?
4. Russia has not annexed the two Donbass republics, which have repeatedly asked for annexation. It has not annexed Abkhazia, South Ossetia, or Transnistria. What makes anyone imagine it would take on the far more onerous burden of annexing Belarus?
I would like a few answers.
Good questions, I too am interested. Following.
Lukashenko is a dead man walking. The EU/US color revolution has been in the making while Russia appeared lost. Bielorussia likely to fall in line with Ukraine as provider of huge reserve labor force for Germany.
Only if Russia lets it slip away
Good thing that Luka returned the arrested mercs, this is a show of good faith. Russia will know to appreciate this.
On the other hand Andrei Martryanov makes a point that Belorussia is only a ballast for the Russian economy and Russia would profit from ditching it. This is also argued by Dmitry Orlov. The main point is that Belorussia is an Ukraine waiting to happen, as in the anti Russian stance and that they can only be good to Russia if paid generously to do so.
I know that this is no make-a-wish foundation, but I would like to see you three discus this topic, it would be a great way to hear from true Russia experts present their different points of view.
Does anyone know if the Union State treaty gives Russia any extraordinary rights with respect to defending Belarus against “foreign aggression” or emergency, even when it is not necessarily a physical invasion? As much grief as the West gives Russia, it has actually been quite the stickler for international legalities when it comes to the big stuff (not that they won’t operate in the gray area a bit when necessary). Anyway, I was just wondering if the already existing special relationship granted Russia any special rights to come to Belarus’ aid. Russia has already learned that they will be condemned for anything they do regardless, so I think Belarus is probably a bit of a red line and that Russia will take whatever actions necessary to prevent its fall into NATO hands.
Arrest warrant issued for opposition leader and opposition proposed President colleage….both in Lithuania claiming they are the new government…….sedition..treason? Especially if /as they helped instigate EU sanctions etc against Belarus!
If there were a scientifically random poll of Belarusans on whether or not to join the Russian Federation, what would it show?
Here’s a summary of the polling (by the EU) till now:
https://belsat.eu/en/news/public-opinion-poll-support-for-integration-with-russia-plummeting-in-belarus/
As if public opinion and polls would matter in the West when joining military/economic allainces/blocks…
Spanish population was clearly anti-NATO and the referendum in Spain was clearly manipulated in its form, through the confussing question it included, plus the people was placed under the menace of resignation of the president of the time, at times of incipient “democracy”, with which the fear for the returning of the fascists clearly made its intended job…
Then, once inside NATO, the government willingly ignored the directives on red lines to never be crossed, with which the will of the population got buried by the US interests…
One wonders why Russia and Belarus could not do the same, if the people, as alleged by Western elites, and thus their manipulatons, never votes the right thing…
See current harassment and intends of overthrowing Spanish colaition government by the far-right supported from the US…
http://reformby.com
Can’t read russian but on another site, some one said this is the opposition manifesto/agenda – which apparently includes mass privatisation and alignment with nato and eu.
If the programme of reforms is enacted by the opposition – and its looking increasingly like they are going to win with minimal conflict – then belarus is lost to Russia, and threats from NATO is that much greater.
So what does this show? It shows the power of propaganda among the regular population of a country. We here make the error of thinking because we don’t buy the West’s propaganda that others don’t as well. That is just not true.Western propaganda is very effective, which is why they spend so much money on it.From 64% of Belorussians saying they wanted more union with Russia ,just 2 years ago,to 40% saying that a year later. So why the change?
The West made a push for pulling Belarus to them.Moving in NGO funds.Giving Belorussians better ability to move to the EU.Trying to cozy up to Lukashenko,so to stick the knife in deeper. And at the same time Russia and Belarus get into their quarreling over economic issues. With the Western propaganda telling the Belorussians,”see those bad Russians, don’t care about you.We in the EU are your real friends, not the Russians”.
Russia may have some top notch diplomats and advisors that work in the big power states of the world. But they must drag out the absolute bottom of the barrel to work for Russia in the CIS states. They throw away Ukraine, for goodness sake,a fellow Rus state. And now look at Belarus. All I see is complaining about what support for Belarus costs them, are they crazy.Just how much does it cost to have a great military ally,to have NATO hundreds of miles further from their borders. For having a friendly neighbor and quiet border. And what would it cost to have another Ukraine-like enemy,on their border, lusting for their blood. If they want to talk about costs, talk about those costs.
The EU has given Poland hundreds of billions of Euro’s in order to keep it happy. It’s certainly not because they just love Poland. It’s because NATO wants Poland as a front line, cannon fodder state. And a Poland drowning in poverty wouldn’t do that for them.Poland isn’t the only one to get that from the EU,just,as far as I’ve heard the worst offender.Poland realizes her location gives her leverage with the EU/NATO,and uses that.Belarus’s location is even more important. So Russia shouldn’t be surprised that the Belorussians know that too. Its bad enough that until now Russian officialdom has just counted Rouble’s when dealing with Belarus,a Rus state and people, with thousands of years of brotherhood between them. But the press is even worse. The non-government liberal media insults Lukashenko. And today even RT ran a glossy story on the EU/NATO supported opposition rally in Minsk, with full drone shots.Claiming it was with 100,000 people. No mention about who paid for it,and whether people were bused in to it.They also did a story about a pro-government rally, with a small mention of it being 200,000 people. And with no drone shots, but saying the opposition said the government bused in people from outside Minsk. And that government workers were told to show up.Biased reporting ,little better than from a Western news report. If the Russian state can’t even get the state owned media to support its needs. Then they have a much bigger problem than the lying Western media.
” The West made a push for pulling Belarus to them.Moving in NGO funds.Giving Belorussians better ability to move to the EU.Trying to cozy up to Lukashenko,so to stick the knife in deeper. ”
Any nation that allows in NGO / or non profits in is asking for national suicide.
A good piece by Moon of Alabama. He says it is done, just about finished, Lukashenko called Putin, ‘confessed his sins’ and acknowledged the Union State.
There is some coverage on RT as well. https://www.rt.com/news/498122-lukashenko-air-brigade-borders/
https://www.moonofalabama.org/2020/08/belarus-this-color-revolution-is-dead-the-union-state-has-killed-it.html#more
@amarynth,
I read this article on MOA, but really a few things are not clear to me …
Did I miss something?
1.
All analyzes say that Lukashenko “does not like the East or the West”…
When we ask – why?
The answer is always – the West wants Belarus to join NATO, and Russia does not want a strong president (ie they want a humble Belarus)…
That is why – both media – spit on Batka.
To be honest – I don’t see anything positive for Belarusians here – from either side….
With all this – every analysis seems to “forget” Batko’s attitude towards the Rothschild / Rockefeller so-called “world organizations” – in the last few months (in so called “pLandemic”)…
And how was the relationship of both East and West – towards the Rothschild /Rockefellers so called “world organizations” in this FAKE “pandemic”?
2.
How is it possible that the “boys” from Wagner received a “business offer” from USA (NATO) and that was all organized from Kiev???
Maybe I misunderstand – but for years (!!!) the Wagners have been connected with the RUSSIAN ARMY ???
So it would be the same as if the Russian Army hired – Black Water !!!
I don’t know, maybe it’s really happening, but it stinks for miles for me!
3.
Yesterday, Batko released to Russia those Wagner “boys” who were supposed to work for NATO and everything was organized from Kiev – and everything is suddenly – “supeeeeer” “
?!?!
So are Russia and NATO are just – friends now ?… or is it just a circus?
4.
The MoA claim that the “unification”, i.e. the “breaking” of Batka by Russia is over, i.e. Belarus and Russia will become one state!
Supeeer!…
Although everyone has claimed – for years (!!!) – that it is not good for NATO to come to the Russian border …. now Russia is coming to the NATO border and that is suddenly a “great idea”.
Strange?…. Hmmm….noooot.
I think Lukashenko will weather the storm with Kremlin backing and this will play out about as successfully as ‘Random Gui<ado' did in Venezuela.
and when things quiet down and a deal is in place then he will announce it is his last term subject to Belarus will return to Russia, as per the Union treaty
What merit is there to this report in Moon of Alabama today, that Putin just saved Lukashenko’s ass? After getting screwed by NATO he crawled back to Russia and Putin agreed to talk to him on condition of implementing the previously negotiated Union State and is now covered by collective security arrangements. NATO’s “color revolution” in Belarus, according to MoA, is now roadkill: https://www.moonofalabama.org/2020/08/belarus-this-color-revolution-is-dead-the-union-state-has-killed-it.html#more
It is all very well for Lukashenko to now support the integration agreement with Russia, but does he have an effective plan to deal with the internal discontent? Putin promised security help, but today’s huge opposition rally indicates that something tangible and not mere window dressing is required to satisfy the population. Not sure how Russia can help with this. Absent such a plan the security help will not be sufficient to defuse the momentum of the protests in my opinion.
The greatest delusion so called leaders and politicians in general in the EU suffer from lies in their idea that Europe holds the same relevance in the world scene that it held only a generation ago. Every Latin American who is old enough to remember the local political scene until the 1980s specially in the South Cone (Chile, Argentine and Uruguay) will tell how important was for everyone over there the posture of not only European States about their national affairs but also their media and public opinion. When French or Italian or Spanish politicians made a tour of our nations people held their breath waiting respectfully for the grave utterances coming out of the mouth of the great man, be that a Francois Mitterrand or a Tony Blair, concerning our own internal affairs. The opinion held of our nations in Europe was more or less all what we needed to know, but so much has changed.
When I go visit the South Cone nowadays I see Europe as non existing, nobody cares about what is produced in the old continent as literature, art, cinema or anything else. Those who grew up wand had an education that included the works of a Camus, a Sartre, a Malraux; the films of a Delon, a Montand, a Belmondo, a political culture of Right and Left, represented usually by a Conservative and a Socialist Parties, don’t recognize the landscape anymore. In the collective imagination of the masses of the continent Europe has all but ceased to exist. And the same I guess has happened in Asia and Africa. But the Europeans seem to be the only ones not to have realized the momentous change that has taken place. That is why they still think they are relevant in world affairs. They are not. And the best illustration of this denouement was the pathetic role played by the EU when the Maduro vs Guaido row took place, its leaders impotently screaming for Maduro to vacate his place to leave it to the designated fool their U.S., masters had anointed as the new leader of Venezuela, like toothless retirees trying to make a mob of noisy youngsters leave the square where they are seeking rest and calm.
Japp, Belarus should be a part off Russia with Lukasjenko as governor! Belarus has no future as an independent state close to Poland and EU. The only protection Belarus can get is from Russia and russias mighty nuclear arsenal and weapons! This is the sad truth about the world of today, the globalists try to take over everywhere.
Putin needs to make Lukashenko a deal he can’t refuse: lifetime retirement in Russia and retention of all his ill-gotten fortune in return for his quick and magnanimous resignation and a formal invitation by the major political, business and military forces in Belarus (whom Luk still controls) for Russian personnel to step in and help stabilise the situation.
Russia needs to publicly guarantee a fair election in which the winner does not knee-jerk defect to Washington just because Americans tell such enticing lies. In other words, the chick causing the ruckus, and likely winner of such an election, needs to be personally educated and rewarded for making the smart decisions rather than believing she’ll get a better deal than Porky and the Ukraine got from Uncle Schlomo.
If she insists on making American-dispensed foolish decisions, Russian troops will have to remain to prevent a civil war which could break out into a full-blown world war. Ethnic relatives of the Belarusians are in a better position to make and keep a real peace than the American GI’s from New Jersey, Alabama or South Dakota that either the Democratic or Republican president would send over there. The metastatic spread of more American troops to the Russian border would be disastrous.
So, Putin has to make like Santa Claus for the Belarusians and like the Krampus for the American weasels who would eat not just his lunch but his entire home if given the chance.
” Russian troops will have to remain to prevent a civil war which could break out into a full-blown world war. ”
You think Russia is under sanctions now, imagine what would happen if they did this ? At some point they might have to open fire on pro-western Belarussians, all hell would break lose then.
Alternatively, Moscow can do nothing and be faced with another Ukraine on its border, approx 280 miles from St. Petersburg and 250 miles from Moscow, plus, once again, be sanctioned gratuitously for even thinking cross thoughts about the Washington empire clawing at its jugular. If Washington is going to sanction in any event (As it has in Iran,Venezuela and Syria. None have taken ANY actions against America yet they are slowly eaten alive by US sanctions!), and if it is going to precipitate false flags to justify an attack on Russia without real provocation, maybe it’s wiser to maintain Belarus as a buffer state if only to make Washington’s mission of conquest a little bit more difficult and the tank ride into Moscow and St. Petersburg a little longer and less certain of success.
Washington sends its troops any goddam where it pleases over the entire globe. Russia is entitled to its red lines in defense of its territory (its homeland, not any vassal states like the US claims to “protect”), especially when any fool, even if they are lackeys for NATO, can see precisely the scenario Washington is setting up for the end game (invasion and conquest of Russia). Washington is throwing down the gauntlet. Putin had better know that if he plans on an independent Russian state into the far future. This is being orchestrated by the Deep State, with or without Trump or Biden. Hell, I’m a native-born American and I realise that it will be bad news for the whole human race if the tyrannical thugs in Washington accomplish their openly stated goals of total world domination (spelled out in no uncertain terms in PNAC).
” This is being orchestrated by the Deep State, with or without Trump or Biden. ”
There is no ” deep state ” , Trump and Biden are just willing puppets. These plans are decades in the making.
I don’t know if true are not.Though I’ve heard some of these said before. This comes from a pro-Russian FB page. The translation isn’t the best.
Why do the globalists mind lukashenko

Panda Crown? What’s a Panda Crown?
Belarus has a slight net population gain. I don’t think the “tripled population” is true though. That would have given them only 3 million in 1994.

Remember all the benefits Libyans had under the Col. ? Thats still didnt stop them from commiting national suicide.
Can anyone identify the diplomats and their country?
A union with Russia based on the union state but also preservation of the Soviet style economic model of Belarus would be preferential.
A Belarusian orientation or integration with West will be a disaster for Belarusian nation.
Finally, Lukashenko has come to his senses. Today, a massive rally in favour of Lukashenko was held in Minsk with Lukashenko seething with scorn and rage against NATO. Of course, there was a thick layer of Western disinfo agitprop pertaining to the coverage — ’a carefully staged event’, ’state employees bused in to Minsk en masse from all over the country’, blablabla. The West is losing. The Belarusian colour revolution is due to be garbage collected. Lukashenko has obviously been assured of Russia’s support and, dare I say, equally assured of NATO’s total contempt, megalomania, and fascist credentials.
Lukashenko has activated his troops for maneuvers at the Polish and Lithuanian borders. This gives two of NATO’s most paranoid and Russophobic members the opportunity to start a major conflict, claiming, of course, to be victims of Russian aggression regardless of the facts. I doubt that Putin gave him THAT advice! I realise the message from Lukashenko is supposed to be “protection of the nation against outside agitators who are driving this coup!” But, by bringing in the military, he may well be playing into NATO’s hands, as Washington might consider the conditions right to give Putin, or his proxy Lukashenko, a bloody nose. It ALWAYS characterises Russias defensive reactions to NATO maneuvers on its borders with the Baltic nations as acts of Russian aggression. Certainly the chronic saber-rattling Poles would love the chance to mix it up with actual Russians be they the White or Great variety. Of course, this would have to be followed up by the entrance of Russian Federation troops to protect Belarus sovereignty and to stabilise the situation. Things will be mischaracterised and escalated, but only if Washington pushes it. Could this be the war the analysts say Trump needs to get re-elected? Exactly where NOT anticipated.
”It ALWAYS characterises Russias defensive reactions to NATO maneuvers on its borders with the Baltic nations as acts of Russian aggression.”
Well, why not? As I said, the Zionazis make for top-class entertainment every time their hissy fits — projection to the n:th degree — are genuine, driven by real pain. It’s plain to see, however, that their vulgar temper tantrums bring about the exact opposite result around here: Despair, doom and gloom, and ”Russia is finished”. Lukashenko, backed by Putin and his government, is fighting the scum. Deal with it.
Lukashenko is finished…and Putin cannot save him
Moscow has to deal with Belorussian Army to see how to prevent possible civil war.
And to force Lukashenko to resign and to prevent foreign meddling. And to enable peacefull transition
And to explain to new rulers of Belarus that NATO in Belarus will not be tolerated
Lukashenko is done and he has to understand that
” And to force Lukashenko to resign and to prevent foreign meddling. And to enable peacefull transition ”
Too late. At this point the Belarussians would most likely ” vote ” for a Western leaning puppet. Addtionally, Russia cant even prevent foreigh meddling in its own affairs. How is it supposed to do it in Belarus ?
Imagine the reaction if a Chinese diplomat was handing out cookies at the protests outside the federal courthouse in Portland?
Imagine the reaction if the Chinese government was funding protesters in Portland?
Imagine the reaction if leaders of the Portland protests flew to Beijing and met the equivalent of members of Congress?
All of the above are based on reversing true events by American diplomats and members of Congress.
To me, here’s the ‘book’ on Putin.
Putin will be patient. Putin will sit back and wait. In every crisis, there are always calls that Putin is being too passive and reluctant.
Putin waits. Then Putin acts.
When Putin acts, he moves quickly and following a well-thought out plan.
When it is all done, and one can look back upon events, Putin seems like the skilled martial arts artist who waited until the opponent put themselves off balance in an attack and thus open to the retaliation move that Putin had been waiting to unleash.
Of course, there’s always that one fight when it turns out that the established champ has gotten old and instead of watching the champ of old perform his magic once again, you are watching Muhammad Ali get his brains pounded into mush right before your eyes.
Nik Starikov says that team of Tikhanovska planned kill her to go ahead with coup
https://nstarikov.ru/tihanovskoj-v-kgb-dali-proslushat-zapis-gde-soratniki-planirovali-ee-ubit-118032
Unfortunately – it seems to me that Batko has no chance!
He rejected the Zionist order – to introduce “lock-down” – and that is now only a PENALTY for disobedience.
(BTW Russia and Putin carried out that Zionist order more than obediently!)
Of course – Batko’s “bad example” he gave to the free Russian people and all the other peoples of the World – calling the FAKE (Zionist WHO) “pandemic” by his real name – the Zionist will not let go – unpunished!
Everything that is happening in Belarus today is described in detail in the “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion”.
(Of course, “The Protocols ..” – are a “fabrication” written 120+ years ago …
How dare I…!?
The only “problem” is that literally everything written in these “The Protocols ..” – takes place before our eyes today!!!
Not only in Belarus, but all over the World!!)
Unfortunately, Lukashenko has no chance.
It will end at best case – as Yanukovich, and at worst – as Gaddafi!
Both nations have experienced “Zionist democracy” and we see how they live today.
Sad…
Lukashenko and Belarus are not the same thing. Dictators always make the mistake of thinking that they are the same thing, but they are not.
I rather suspect that the way Putin will step in and handle this will keep the western gangsters out of Belarus, but will not keep Lukashenko in power.
Lukashenko has been a pain in the keister to Putin for years, and it is Lukashenko’s mismanagement of the country that has led to this crisis. This crisis has of course been aggravated by the spies and agents of the capitalist gangsters of the west, but they always find fertile ground in a country that has been mis-run by a tryant. I don’t see any reason why Putin would want to save Lukashenko, and since most of the crowds on the streets appear to be personally pissed-off at Lukashenko, it would seem that a path towards stabilizing the situation lies through giving the crowds what they appear to want which is the end of Lukashenko as head of government.
The tricky part of this for Putin is to see if he can save Belarus without openly sending in troops, which of course leads to more propaganda about how Putin invaded Belarus and is bent on recreating the Soviet empire, which is the only thing the west knows because most of these idiots in power couldn’t name either Peter nor Catherine as former rulers of Russia.
According tuo this video
https://www.rt.com/news/498137-belarus-protester-minsk-videos/
he seems not be a “terrorist”
Western media publish the same style propaganda as it happened in Ukraine.
Western elites plan is to take control of Belarus
Belarus (as was Ukraine) is geostrategically important and needs to be severed from russian influence so that NATO will move even closer to Russia.
Another reason is that the Soviet style Belarusian economy is not controlled by western interests & multinationals. Therefore western powers cannot benefit by exploiting Belarusian market.
But if Belarus ends up like Ukraine or baltic states then USA , EU & nato will benefit
Belarusian people will suffer. The economy will be privatised & millions would end up unemployed.
Belarus is too troubled to be annexed by Russia. I don’t see why should Russia be expected and required to take care of Belarus and carry them on its back… and doing that against the will of the Belarusians. How absurd is that!? If they want to destroy their country/region, they are adults and free. Let them have a go at it. There will be no industry or economy in Belarus, no cheap resources, literally nothing. The population will be migrating out of the country. It will be a continuous crisis, but not out of the blue, but rather out of their (immature) choices/activities/inactivities.
I know that people like to talk how close this is to the border of Russia and so on. Yes, this is unpleasant, but the option for Russia to completely wipe out of existence the West during a conflict is always open.
I don’t think that Russia should get way too directly involved especially using force, and they will not do that. Even Belarus falling out may have a positive effect on Russia. I know it’s bad to lose a limb, but if that limb is sick and threatens to infect the whole body, removing it is a positive outcome in that circumstances. Once Belarus is out, it becomes a problem and liability of the West. Everything produced there can be replaced by manufacturing within Russia, so helping their own industry, probably gaining everything at an overall lower price. No need to prop up and support a spoiled set of population and giving them almost free resources, which becomes a small win due to decrease in liability. Belarusians will need to be buying everything at market prices. Who is going to support them once they are “with the West”? Poland or the Baltics? That sounds like a bad joke. No-one needs a country like Belarus. They feel important now like an easy woman when receiving a lot of targeted attention just to be used cheaply for the night. Waking up in the morning will be hard. Who will be the idiot to marry that easy woman?
No, I really don’t think that Belarus offers anything valuable to be worth the hassle. In general, the West and especially Europe is a dead horse. The big thing now is Asia and Africa also has a lot of potential.
Everyone underestimates the beast.
Belarus is transforming before our eyes into an American satellite, its importance is as a nato outpost and the transfer of the juicy belarusian military technology, the conversion of army to a nato partner/member, and the sell off of state assets to American and European corporations.
With whats already happened to Ukraine and whats slowly happening to Uzbekistan, i am seriously worried for Russia. Dear me, they have no softpower to speak of to withstand the nato powers. They’re cleverly being cornered by the Anglo-American empire. The coming economic collapse won’t change a thing.
Don’t worry too much. It’s bad for people’s health to worry and stress about many things. You will be surprised of what will happen.
If Belarusians have given themselves to propaganda and want to go the path down the drain, noone can stop them forcefully. We can only regret their terrible choice. We are not sure if they are in that state, yet. Once NATO is seen as an aggressor, things may change.
I find it hard to believe that they completely cannot see through this situation. They are protesting and the protests are supported by people clearly anti-Russian. If those people are anti-Russian, would they be pro-Belarusian? There is no such animal and they know it.
Lukashenko is not viable and will need to go, but Belarus changing its blood and becoming American, or changing its chip and becoming Western is not quite possible.
The West actually have become weaker and more corrupt by expanding in eastern direction. That’s how empires rot from inside. Did having Poland in their midst make them stronger? Not at all. Now they have one more underproductive country that whines all the time and acts as a victim, throwing its entitled tantrums. Be sure that Germany cannot stand Poland. The Baltics are even worse. All those are so dependent on Russia and her transit that kicking against her is a total idiocy. If these are the tactics of the West, they are screwed and weak. NATO armies close to Russian border would not help them. I cannot imagine a human being that would be willing to go to war against Russia. These armies will be super paranoid and broken. They would die quickly. Politicians may dilute themselves, but the dying people will taste reality and cannot simply deny it.
You don’t have to worry about Poland and the Baltics. They are getting prepped up by financially stronger European Nations (Germany, France, …). Thanks to NATO Europe has a strong missile defense against Iranian missiles. One of those locations for defense is in Poland. Maybe Belarus would be a better location for that missile shield? After the events in Ukraine, Lithuanians felt threatened by their Eastern neighbors. Thanks to European patriotism NATO forces (German forces included) now assist Lithuanians in defending their country.
Maybe you can’t imagine a human being willing to fight against Russia. The facts on the ground seem to indicate otherwise.
Thank you for the information.
The missile defenses can be a problem. Not so much in terms of actually working or doing much during war, but more as an internal propaganda tool that may create a false sense of safety. Thus, our beloved West may decide to start a war and get themselves killed.
A major reason Russia introduced a new generation of strategic nuclear armament is this propaganda. They not only should overcome actual defenses, but as a deterrent they need to overcome the propaganda and imagination associated with those defenses.
Defenses close to Russia are easy to destroy, and even if not destroyed, the interceptors themselves become targets within the range of the Russian S-400. Downing an ICBM is not that easy on this context. Of course, the deployed missile defenses come with radars, which allow them to monitor what’s happening in Russia, which is essentially the only actual win they gain.
Ralph Nader is the legitimate President of the United States!
Since it is now apparently legal to declare that a candidate who only got a single-digit percentage of the votes cast to be the winner of the election, we now hearby declare that Ralph Nader was the winner of the 2000 Gore-Bush elections about which we know there were massive irregularities in the vote count. Especially in the corrupt state of Florida with its cocaine smugglers and Cuban war criminals.
As the President of 2000 was illegally in office, and who had to use force against protesters to even let his inaugural parade pass the protests in the capital, all actions taken by the US Government since Jan 2001 are illegal, and since that illegal government conducted all following elections, it is quite obvious to all concerned that Ralph Nader and his single-digit pct of the vote was the legitimate winner of that contested election.
We must immediately restore Ralph Nader to his rightful place in the White House.
—————-
Note: to all spies and police informers. The above is comedy. It takes the ridiculous situation of the USA and other countries trying to say that someone who couldn’t get even a double-digits percentage of the votes cast actually won the election, and carries that argument to its logical extreme.
The German foreign minister Heiko Maas (SPD) put sanctions on Belarus (via their EU commision apparently, democracy is non-existent ). SPD is a national socialist party, historically a workers party like NSDAP (nationalsocialistiche deutsche arbeiterpartei that lost the election to Adolf Hitler but were mainly in the same sphere of the political spectrum, a direct competitor that was outlawed by Hitler. While Hitler had SA fighting in the streets, SPD had Antifa doing the same thing. Antifa and SPD survived in the East-German faction of SPD and has risen from the ashes of fascistdriven dictatorship).

So they want to sanction specific people that won the election in Belarus, not against corporations in Belarus or against the country as such. This is of course fascism and dictatorship in the worst form, from EU.
corrected. (link).
Is Belarus in Serbia or Ukraine? I forgot.
It is north of Ukraine
It has been another (regular) horror show currently being broadcast from Belorussia – the neoliberal zionist-capitalists have been doing it with amazing efficiency regularly. Starting from 1990, different Russ-oriented political entity would be destroyed and broken up into pieces, those individual pieces will be again destroyed and broken up further. Thus USSR vanished into thin air, thereafter the CIS countries moved away from Russia Federation one by one. Ukraine got split into multiple pieces. Everywhere the common theme has been “russophobia”. Now, Belorussia is under ‘transformation’ by the zionist-capitalists from (mainly) USA and UK with the help of ‘intellectual civil society’ within Belorussia and outside.
I couldn’t resist myself from putting up few questions to the political and social leadership of Russia:
(1) has Russia concluded that ‘russ’ slavic community has no future prospect to thrive as a civilization, and hence Russian leaders are almost always reactive to deal with political turmoils in the post-Soviet regions ?
(2) has Russia concluded that Belorussia has no strategic importance to Russia even for Kaliningrad ?
(3) has Russia concluded that kleptocrats from zionist-capitalist elites will continue to lord over the economy and development of Russian society ?
If the answer to all of the above 3 is “yes”, then no further discussion is required.
If the answer to at least 1 of the above is “no”, then there is ONLY ONE AVENUE left –
Russian leaders must convince Lukashenko by hook or by crook to make immediate declaration on enforcement of legal framework of “union state” NOW.
Even after dozens of case studies available (during past two decades) about how elected heads would be replaced by a lackey of zionist imperialist powers, neither Belorussia nor Russia made any proactive planning and propaganda to counter the zionist-capitalist world order. Also, the top leadership of Russia and China should identify the real power behind the world order – it never was/is the POTUS, POTUS was/is just the manager. Hence, it’s immaterial whether Bush or Trump or Clinton or Obama or Biden is at the helm – make no mistake, after Belorussia, it will be Russia’s turn ! (China will be the last stoppage).
1. Lukashenko puts troops along western border on full combat alert.
2. Lukashenko says Russia will provide assistance ensuring Belarus’ security.
3. Putin confirms readiness to help Belarus based on Union State Treaty.

The coup attempt and their foreign based coup leaders put a great shame on themselves, this is over.
Agree 100%.
The hypocrisy is boundless and march even faster the more Russia and China gets organised.
@Saker
I found an interesting article about a missile with a live warhead being smuggled by a CIA contractor through an international airport in Florida:
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/florida-airport-evacuated-after-huge-live-missile-found-accidentally-shipped-amazon
Exact same type missile got delivered in 2019 to a Neo-Nazi gang that fought against Russians in the Donbass in the Ukraine:
https://theaviationist.com/2019/07/19/lets-talk-about-the-matra-r530f-air-to-air-missile-seized-by-the-italian-police-during-raid-against-neo-nazi-gang/
So that leaves the possibility open MH17 was shot down by neo-nazis and perhaps the missile was delivered to them by the CIA?!
I have come to this website off and on for the past two years and the information is really eye-opening and quite a contrast to what I see anywhere else – it also rings true more than any other analyses I read on global events.
So, I am somewhat embarrassed to admit I really don’t know what “The Empire” is. Could someone point me toward one of the Saker’s blog posts/articles where he defines this?
Much thanks.
