Hassan Nasrallah: we are about to liberate Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and all of Palestine from 7asan saleh on Vimeo.
Transcript:
[…] (Against the decision of Trump), the least (degree of faith) here would be that the Palestinian Authority, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (who will meet) in Istanbul in two days decree the end of the peace process. The Arab peace initiative should no longer be on the table. They have to tell the Americans: “It’s over. There is nothing left on the table. If you cancel this decision, we will come back to discuss around the table.” Even at the political and tactical levels, it is a strong, influential and effective logic, though of course we do not believe for a moment in (the efficiency or the legitimacy of) the way of negotiations.
Thirdly, the most important thing, my brothers and sisters, is that the answer to Trump’s decision be an Intifada, as called for by the Palestinian leaders. Not we in Lebanon, nor anyone else in the Resistance Axis or anywhere in the world, can impose on the Palestinians what they must do. Palestinians have always been the first in the Resistance, taking the initiative by themselves and before everyone else, as they also did in the popular struggle and the Intifada. And in this school they have always been very great teachers. The Palestinians themselves are the ones who decide what to do, and it is they who declare (the need for an Intifada), and we (merely) repeat it after them, to assume our responsibility together by their side… Yes, O my brothers and sisters, I want to say today that the absolutely most important answer to Trump’s decision – which constitutes an act of war – is the outbreak of a third Palestinian Intifada. The outbreak of a third Palestinian Intifada throughout all the occupied Palestinian land. This is the great and true answer. It is the responsibility of the Palestinians in the first place, and the entire Arab and Muslim world must stand with them and help them.
And I declare today that I speak not only on behalf of Hezbollah, but on behalf of the entire Resistance Axis (Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Iraq, Yemen). I know their opinion and their position very well, being in constant contact with all, whether States, peoples or factions and (armed) movements. I want to declare this:
O my brothers and sisters, O people of Palestine and O peoples of the region. Today, the Resistance Axis and the countries of the Resistance Axis are emerging from the test of the past years (against ISIS), and despite the wounds and the evils suffered, they come out triumphant, strong, firmer (than ever). This Resistance Axis is about to end its struggles in the region, and to defeat all the takfiris instruments (vainly) used by the United States and Israel to make it fall and annihilate it.
Today, the Resistance Axis will set again as his primary concern and priority, and devote all of its time (and capabilities), including Hezbollah, to Al-Quds (Jerusalem), Palestine, the Palestinian people, to the Palestinian resistance in all its factions, battalions, brigades and forces – and we count on them all – (and we are ready) to stand by them. Today, I call for the meeting and union of all the Resistance, to form our ranks (of battle) after these years of scarcity (for Palestine), to heal the wounds and the sufferings which struck this noble body (Palestine) during the last years.
I call all Resistance factions in the region – (yes), all Resistance factions in the region, and all those who believe in Resistance in the region –, to contact each other and meet in order to set… The general position is clear and no one discusses it because it is final: we must face this aggression to liberate Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and to preserve it, as well as the Palestinian cause, against attempts to liquidate it. (I call all factions of the Resistance) to meet. Why? To agree on a unique confrontational strategy, so that we fight (Israel and the United States) all together with a common, clear and (precisely) delimited strategy, and come up with concrete steps on the ground, concerted actions and complementary ways in which roles will be clearly distributed and efforts will be completed in this major confrontation. And we, in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, will fully assume our responsibility in this regard.
O Palestinian people, O peoples of the region, you must have faith in your God, in the promise made to you by God the Most High: “If you support (the cause of) God, He will come to your rescue and strengthen you.” [Quran, ] And “If God brings you help, no force can defeat you.” [Quran, ]. If God assists us in our action, our unity, our meetings, our responsibilities (fully) assumed, our massive presence on the battlefields (to fight) and squares (to demonstrate), the absence of discord, fear and recoil in our ranks, God will grant us victory. Trust in your Lord, in your (Islamic) Community, of which they want you to despair, have confidence in the Resistance movements and in the Resistance Axis, which never entered a battlefield without coming out of it victorious, the Resistance Axis that brought the Community out of the era of defeats to bring it into the era of victories.
O my brothers and sisters, and O people of Palestine: they wanted this decision to be the beginning of the end for Al-Quds and for the Palestinian cause. Let us join forces to make this stupid and evil American decision the beginning of the end of this usurping entity, forever! And let our slogan, our way and our program be “Death to Israel”! [The crowd of protesters chants “Death to Israel!”] We must turn this threat into an opportunity, this danger into success and this diplomatic and political defeat for the Arab governments into victory for the Community, for the peoples, for Palestine and for the holy places.
Today or yesterday – so that no one says that I did not comment on this fact – Netanyahu, from Paris, threatened Lebanon, the Resistance in Lebanon and the Lebanese people of such and such thing. He thus wants to turn us away (from the essential question), he wants the question of the day to be the weapons of Hezbollah, its missiles (and not Al-Quds), and this is why he talks about missile manufacturing in Lebanon. I will not answer him today (because) we must remain concentrated and focused on our central cause, Al-Quds, the eternal capital, Al-Quds that we will never give up, Al-Quds about which the Palestinian people proclaim – and we Lebanese, as well as all our Arab and Islamic peoples, repeat with the Palestinian people: “We are moving towards Al-Quds by the millions, (aspiring to) martyrdom!” [The crowd chants: “We are moving towards Al-Quds by the millions, (aspiring to) martyrdom !”]
In this atmosphere, while they want the Palestinian people and the Community to be in despair, I say with confidence and certainty – and what I’m about to say is not based on the interpretation of a dream I had or on prophetic traditions, relying on (the most elementary logic which says that) 1 + 1 = 2, the (current) equations, the (acquired) victories, the rules of confrontation, the capabilities that are currently being prepared, the resurgent Resistance Axis (putting the Palestinian cause as a focus), the developments taking place in the world, and the trust in the promise of God Exalted and Most High –, Trump’s decision will be the beginning of the end for Israel, with the will of God! [The crowd chants: “We are at your command, O Nasrallah”]
That’s what I wanted to say today, I’m not going to be longer than I’ve been, but this is our oath, that’s our position, that’s our commitment, and that’s for eternity. We in Lebanon, the country of Resistance, the people of Resistance, the country of sacrifices and martyrs, the country of great men and men of exception, and the land of victories, we were with Palestine even before 1948, since the time of our fathers and grandfathers. We have always stood with Palestine, and we will stay with Palestine until Muslims (from all over the world come to) pray (freely) in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Christians (from all over the world) pray (freely) in the Church of the Resurrection (after the ultimate destruction of Israel). And we declare and repeat again: we will never give up Palestine, we will never give up on Al-Quds, we will never give up our (mosque) Al-Aqsa, because today it represents the cause for which Aba Abdillah al-Hussein [grandson of the Prophet and 3rd Imam of Shiism, massacred with his family and his followers by the army of Yazid b. Mu’awita, tyrant usurper of the throne of the Muslim community], peace upon him, sacrificed himself, with whom we conclude as we began by proclaiming, “I will never abandon you, O Hussein!” [The crowd chants: “I will never abandon you, O Hussein!”]
May the peace of God be upon you, as well as His mercy and blessings. God will soon grant us a dazzling victory by His Will. [The crowd chants: “O Allah! O Allah! Protect Nasrallah for us!”]
Rev.Nasr’Allah speaks for the Muslim Resistance; but who speaks for the Christian Resistance to the Judaization of the Holy Land? At the moment no organized body — not even the Orthodox Church, despite Russia’s great contribution to the defeat of the Oded-Yinon plan to Balkanise the ME and bring it under Israeli control. The question of a Christian Axis of Resistance is important, and there is time to reflect on this question. Rev.Nasr’Allah says, with his usual calm logic, that the Axis of Resistance must meet and coordinate, set up a unified front with clear assignment of responsibilities to its bodies. This will take time, and the Christian bodies can use that time to take up a position: mere verbal sympathy is not enough, neither for the suffering of the Palestinians, nor for the population of the ME, nor for the cause of the rapidly diminishing number of Christians in the ME. A Christian Axis must be formed to Resist the relentless expansion of the EUSA-funded Jewish State, the relentless incursions and butchery by Israel in Gaza, in the West Bank and Lebanon, the relentless Anglo-Zio-Capitalist invasions of Iraq, Syria and other oil-rich states in the MENA so that millions of innocent people in this area have been killed, wounded and displaced instead of living normal lives. Christians in the EUSA have allowed venal hypocrites like Bush & Blair, together with cynical opportunists like Sarkozy, Cameron and the Clintons, to set the agenda, to make wars and destabilize the ME in the interest of Zionazis and Zio-Capitalists. Christians can continue to duck the issue, “Nothing to do with me, Gov, I only sign the checks”; but you cannot serve both God and Mammon. The tremendous influence of the whole of Christian Europe (which naturally includes Russia) could restore the Holy Land and the Holy City to their proper function **without bloodshed** if a Christian Axis of Resistance were to meet and unite with the Muslim Axis for which Rev.Nasr’Allah is calling. It can be done: the former success of the struggle against Apart-hate in South Africa shows that it can be done, as does the recent relatively bloodless Russian checkmate of the Zio-Capitalist plan to carve an Israeli controlled oil state, Eretz Kurdistan, out of Iraq-Syria-Turkey. The unity of Jerusalem for all three Peoples of The Book is not simply a religious struggle. Mammon is there as well as God: ever expanding modern Israel aims to take over the oil of Syria, and the offshore gas of Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and Lebanon. That is what the bombing of Gaza is about, that is what the marginalization of Palestinians is about, that is what the destabilization of Syria is about, that is what the fight against Hezb’Allah and Hamas is about. For Christians to recognize the Judaization of Jerusalem is to wash their hands of more relentless bloodshed in the Holy Land and beyond — continual wars in the cause of Mammon just as much as in the cause of religion.
Doc NG,
Christians are also currently losing their holy places. For example, Bethlehem:
… In 1950, Bethlehem and the surrounding villages were 86 percent Christian. But by 2016, the Christian population dipped to just 12 percent …
(*)
In some areas Christians are getting a poor deal from the current Israeli government. In other locales, Christians are doing fairly well in Israel. I could see a larger 3-way deal working. One that reaches beyond Jerusalem, and restores Christian dominance to Christian holy lands. Christians would have significant motivation to help if they have a seat at the negotiating table aimed at creation of their own sovereign enclave centered on Bethlehem.
I think you will understand when I say, Abu Abbas’s (**) current management of the PA territories is less than confidence building. Bitter experience, most recently in Iraq and Egypt, shows that a new government can easily be worse than the prior one for Christian minority populations. Unless the local Christian population receives their own lands, there is too much for them to lose by inserting themselves into a process that doesn’t seem to be making significant progress.
Sorry to be cynical again, but every time I try to be optimistic about the Middle East it comes back to bite me.

Dr. Maroudas,
I am in complete agreement with you regarding the absence of an organized Christian Resistance to the Judaization of the Holy Land. There is obviously a component of the Christian community in many European countries and the US aware of the reality of the situation and opposed to the continued creeping Zionist oppression, murder and ethnic cleansing of both Muslims and Christians in the Holy Land, and even more conscious of the dual loyalty Zionist fifth columnists supporting and bringing about a destabilization of the entire MENA region. Some of these Christians become active in support of the Palestinians and ask their own churches to divest from corporations that benefit from or contribute to Israeli settlements. Unfortunately, too many of the American Christians who see themselves mostly as patriotic Americans criticize their own neo-con controlled governments, media, and society for foreign policies that are not in the interest of their country, solely viewing these as national interest issues instead of issues dealing with the morality and ethics that they were informed by in their Christian upbringing. There seems to be a distancing from Christian values in the west, and it bodes ill for the future of both the Middle East and the western nations.
I am shocked by the indifference that most American Christians show toward the horrific treatment of Christian Palestinians by the Zionist entity; they are mostly unaware and misinformed about the falling numbers of Christians in the Holy Land, and when they become aware, they all too often swallow the Zionist myths that the falling number of Christians is a result of poor relations with their Muslim neighbors. Even united Palestinian Christian movements such as Kairos are unreported, ignored or spun by Jewish-Christian Relations Councils. It’s apalling and frustrating to see how American Christians are unable or unwilling the think for themselves, relying on Jewish funded or organized groups to tell them how to think. I begin to despair and feel that these Christians are lost causes and will have to be categorized as enemies to the resistance. I’m extremely disheartened by conclusions that I have reached about my own country, the United States. There is a big part of me that has come to the conclusion that the downfall of the US as THE global superpower will be a huge benefit for mankind. I find myself brimming with “If onlies”. If only the US had remained a fair mediator in the I/P conflict… If only Americans had become aware of and fought against the huge campaign funding by Zionist Jews that resulted in Congress become Israeli occupied territory… If only Christians had kept their eye on Christian culture and values and not swallowed the evil mendacious pill of “Judeo-Christian values and culture”…
Peace

Thank you, all, for your insights. There surely is and has been a distancing from “Christian values” in the West, and most definitely in the US —–this is not to say that there are not good people in the US (and in Israel) who are working and praying mightily for peace for our whole Earth. Some dreadful developments must be addressed, here: two terrible World Wars were fought to utterly dehumanize people, and to destroy their faith in the Creator–they succeeded terribly. ***** Also, in early August of 1945, the dark alchemists demonstrated their evil capability to call down “fire from heaven”. The stage had been set very carefully for this drama, the timing was just right. The real goal of these demented weird cauldrons was to craft an entity, a “little boy” that would mature into a super-being of great evil power. Know now that these so-called “atom bombs” certainly were not bombs in the usual sense, and they did not yield “victory” over an earthly enemy as much as they heralded the beginning of The Age of Satanic Delusion on our planet. They were also brazen acts of de-creation and working against natural power in utter defiance of the Holy Creator. Since then, the Children of Light have been trying to live in a society that is in crying need of a massive exorcism. ****** World War 2 was a massive blood sacrifice to the ancient demonic entity “Moloch” which paved the way for the establishment of the Satanic, Zionist, racist, counterfeit “state of Israel”. ***** Yes, the deceptions under which so many American Christians operate under regarding the true nature of the Satanic Zionist state are appalling. Pray for them to awaken— Pray often–pray for the defeat of evil on our earth. “The earth is The Lord’s , and the fullness thereof.”
Very well then. The lines of battle are drawn. May the Resistance Axis now feel more free to ally with Yemen in the open, and break the blockade. May Saudi Arabia choose at the least to withdraw from this war, or if it so chooses, then to proceed also to its own destruction.
The death of Israel doesn’t mean the death of its inhabitants. It means the end of that artificial entity of occupation created by colonial powers. The illegal inhabitants of the territory will have to find a way to live in peace with their neighbors or depart elsewhere. Perhaps the US will take them. As the warriors increasingly prevail, there will be much talk from the nations of the world, and out of this all will come solutions, but it will be the warriors who will have won the day.
Similarly, the end of Saudi Arabia doesn’t mean the end of the inhabitants of that land. No one on this side of the war intends to target civilians. It means the end of that rule of tribal tyrants. This is a war against governments, a war by the people against the tyrants, a war of the poor and ordinary, the peace-loving, against the rich and the evil and those consumed by greed and hatred.
Same as it ever was, throughout all of history, but the poor this time are exceptionally well armed.
And their communications are like no other that have existed before.
Both China and Russia have stated that East Jerusalem should be the Palestinian State capital.
That implies two-state.
Trump is for two-state.
Is there anything in his declaration that indicates Jerusalem should be exclusively Israeli?
Certainly, Russia and China indicate that only part of Jerusalem would be Palestinian capital. Thus, eventually, they would recognize another state having the West Jerusalem capital. Though both vehemently resist naming Jerusalem as Israeli capital before the two-state solution is agreed to.
Is the only solution war? Because that war looks like it will not be won by Palestine.
There is no reason to believe Trump is for two state, unless you define a series of non-linked open air concentration camps as a state.
The US has not delivered, nor ever intended to deliver, any improvement to the lives and status of the Palestinian people.
You are kidding yourself. For what reason?
It will be won by Palestine – and her allies. Millions of Arabs in israel will likely contribute to the fight as well, burning and looting their way through the big cities and then the countryside, laying waste to farms and orchards – same as the jews did to them.
“Let us join forces to make this stupid and evil American decision the beginning of the end of this usurping entity, forever! And let our slogan, our way and our program be ‘Death to Israel’!“
Excellent resolve, Hassan Nasrallah! Sincere and profound respect from Sweden where the Ziomedia keeps droning on about “rampant anti-Semitism” in several cities around the country.
Onwards to victory!
Hassan Nasrallah, chances are that you will read this or be made aware of it.
The defense of Lebanon from aggressive neighbors, the help of Hezbollah in support of the Syrian state upon its invitation, are precious and fully legitimate. I appreciate it very much and am thankful for it, even though I am only a Swiss guy working in Germany and by no means implicated in the middle eastern struggle. However, I am not convinced that a battle for Jerusalem is worth it, nor am I convinced that it is legitimate.
1. Fighting for Al-Quds will spill the blood of Palestinians and Arabs by the thousands without reasonable chance of success. Chances for success are as high as jumping of a ten-story building onto the concrete floor. I would not bet a dime on survival. Any support to a violent third intifada is – as I see it – an invitation to cull the Palestinian population and will bring nothing but devastation.
2. The world recognizes the recent peaceful moves by the PA and the restraint of Hamas. Palestine got recognized as party in UN bodies such as UNESCO precisely because there were no arguments against it other than religious attitudes of the few well-known adversaries. This slowly-built trust within the UN will be thrown out the window in a matter of days shall the Palestinians return to guerrilla war against Israel.
3. Who said that Al-Quds cannot be the capital of two states? And where is it written that the US decision to move its embassy has any – I repeat – any effect on the local reality? Israel fears nothing more than peace, because peace is the sharpest weapon against its Apartheid regime. Peace completely delegitimizes its violent suppression of the indigenous people. Hence, Trump’s declaration is a trap to get the hotheads among the Arab world to react violently, thereby pulling the IDF out of the swamp and back onto moral high ground. As it seems, the trap works.
4. Whereas I can understand that the cultural heritage in Jerusalem is unique and dear to all Abrahamic religions, I do not endorse any violent battle for the control of the city itself. In my opinion, it would be fair and just that Christians, Muslim and Jews control to their respective cultural heritage within the city. But it stops there. Whoever is in charge of the political control of the city shall be forced to warrant free access to these sites, such that disciples of all faiths can visit theirs sites and use them for their prayers.
In conclusion, I strongly advice to keep all actions civilized and peaceful, precisely because Israel would win the slaughterhouse contest.
Best regards,
Marcel Leutenegger
When Nasrallah promises, he delivers.
Yes, I know.
Nevertheless, looking at the few comments here and the fairly little number of views of this page tells a lot about the general feeling of people on this topic. There won’t be much public support and there isn’t right now. In fact, I postponed listening/reading his speech for two full days as well.
The horrible Nikki Haley actually threatens any country that disagrees with the US position on Jerusalem as capital of Israel:
