The US is exerting pressure on the Afghan Government for respecting human rights. Also, the US is lobbying with its allies to exert pressure on Afghanistan and should not recognize their legitimacy unless they meet few demands, among which is Human rights at the top of the list.
What the US was doing in Afghanistan for twenty years? Was it in respect of Human rights? Bombing Marriage parties, funeral ceremonies, Mosques, Shrines, Schools, Hospitals, was respecting Human rights? Dropping Mother of all bombs, extensive use of force, weapons, and ammunition was it the respect of Human rights? Use of dirty tricks, and high-tech weapons and technologies, was in respect to Human rights? The US was maintaining several jails in Afghanistan, was it in respect of Human Rights? Keeping many detention centers, was it in respect of Human rights? Creation of so many torture cells, was it the rest of Human rights? So many investigation centers, was am to protect human rights? The US involved 46 countries to attack Afghanistan was it human rights exercise? Additional 11 countries also supported in war against Afghanistan, was it aimed to protect human rights? Keeping 150,000 troops in Afghanistan (peek time), was it respecting human rights? Killing innocent citizens, children, civilians, women, elder people, was part of the American Human Rights adventure? Use of drones and killing Taxi driver along with his two young children, was it also the respect of Human right? Excessive use of powers, draconian laws, and extrajudicial killings, was part of US policy of Human Rights? How many women were raped, insulted, humiliated, is this American rest to Human rights? Child abuse was a common phenomenon, is this the American way of resting human rights? Shame! Shame! Shame!
The US has no moral authority to talk about Human Rights and put extraordinary conditions on the Afghan Government and irrational excuses to coerce Afghans. The entire world knows, what happened in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and in many other countries, the American role is very much obvious and known to everyone. The US is a partner in extreme violations of Human rights in Palestine and Kashmir. The US is extending extraordinary support to Israel and India, which are notorious for Human rights violations. Yet, if the US is talking about human rights, is beyond our imaginations. A country, who is committing the worst human rights violations, is talking about Human rights, is not matching its actions and words. Even, inside America, what so ever is happening with minorities, immigrants, and black people, is well-known to everyone.
American human rights violations and war crimes in Afghanistan must be trial and fix responsibilities on all individuals involved. Punish them according to respective law according to the degree of crime and level of involvement.
However, in Afghanistan, life is rapidly restoring toward normalcy. 20 years of American illegitimate occupation has ended and the Taliban are restoring peace, stability, and law & order situation, which is improving gradually. Now people feel safer and secure. Government offices are functioning properly. Women are working with full confidence as usual. Girls are getting an education in a routine matter. Taliban government has ensured the safety of all its citizens. People of Afghanistan are happy and have welcomed the Taliban.
Taliban are real representatives of Afghanistan and very much loyal and sincere with their country and enjoy public support and trust. Unlike President Noor Muhamad Turkey, President Hafizullah Amin, President Babrak Karmal, and President Dr. Najeeb, who were traitors and planted by the USSR, and were working on foreign agenda, the Taliban are keeping the Afghan interest at the top. Unlike President Hamid Karzai, and President Ashraf Ghani, who were CIA agents, and puppets, and installed by the US. Both of them were implementing and serving their masters. Taliban are Afghans and serving Afghans only.
If the US demands to include such traitors, it may not be possible, as it is illogical to bring traitors and foreign agents back. Taliban fought for twenty years for freedom and finally defeated the US. Taliban has sacrificed many precious lives, close relatives, suffered jails, tortures, and exiles, and now after victory, they have the right to form their own government. It is their legal and legitimate right, the world must accept this fact and realize it, the sooner the better.
Taliban are true Afghans, they understand their culture, traditions, and tribal society, and they will form a system of government, which suits Afghanistan. There is no need for any dictation from the outside world. Let Afghans lead their country and manage their affairs in the best possible manner, which suits them. Outside interference needs to reach an end. The status of human rights in Afghanistan under Taliban rule is much better than in the last twenty years of American occupation. People feel relaxed and thank the Taliban for providing them dignity, safety, respect, and protection. Under American occupation, no one was sure that if he or she leaves home, and come back safe. Any time anywhere anything can happen, as the US troops were wild and treating Afghans just like sheep and goats, mistreating them, insulting and humiliating them. Especially, the women can be raped, tortured, humiliated by troops. How many young Afghan girls were smuggled and trafficked to America and Europe to work in the sex industry? Can Americans justify it as human rights? Taliban has provided respect and protection to women. Majority of women are very happy with Taliban rule. Exceptions must be there, we may not deny exceptional cases, but vast majority of women are happy and satisfied.
Taliban were freedom fighters and won the long war of twenty years against a superpower and they are competent and equipped with all modern knowledge. They understand how to manage a country and how to run a country. Of course, they are facing huge challenges, but these challenges are created artificially by the US and its allies. Like freezing Afghan assets, using IMF, World Bank, International Financial Institutions, and donors, to coerce Afghans.
The US has planned something else, but what happens is the opposite. The US evacuated its troops from Afghanistan in a haphazard manner to create a vacuum, leading toward civil war. The US deployed around twenty thousand private defense contractors to create unrest and civil war in Afghanistan. The US shifted ISIS-K to Afghanistan, equipped them, funded them, and provided those training, to create unrest and civil war in Afghanistan. But on the ground Taliban has managed very well and avoided any civil war or unrest on the ground. The US is desperate, taking measures to destabilize the new government in Afghanistan.
The US is using various tricks to destabilize Afghanistan, it includes economic measures, human rights excuses, women’s rights, etc. to create unrest. The US is pursuing allies and other countries to exert pressure on Afghanistan to achieve its ill-designs. Pakistan is facing such pressure from the US. Unfortunate!
However, the Taliban performed very well on grounds, and the world has seen and witnessed that the Taliban are capable and honest, kind, gentle, competent. Taliban got international recognition already. The Qatar deputy foreign Minister has already paid an official visit. Many other countries are ready to establish good relations with the new Government as soon as they announce formally.
The Whole region suffered a lot due to the American invasion of Afghanistan for twenty years, and cannot afford any further unrest. All the regional countries with a stable, safe, and prosperous Afghanistan. If few countries like America, want to spoil it, may not succeed.

When the West speaks about human rights, they mean LBGT and woke rights. They got a different ideology template to sane people.
Best to treat the West and what they say as toxic. The Afghans kicked them out. They and their sick and toxic ideologies can stay out.
“The US has no moral authority to talk about Human Rights and put extraordinary conditions on the Afghan Government and irrational excuses to coerce Afghans.”
Absolutely, absolutely right.
Further:
No nation has authority whatsoever to impose conditions/sanctions to other nations.
Cheers from France.
The 500,000 excess civilian deaths following the west’s war of aggression against Iraq was ‘a price worth paying’ according to one of the great representatives of the Light Unto Nations.
Hypocrits one and all.
In the late 2000s (2008,9,thereabouts) Canadian soldiers began returning from Afghanistan with claims of PTSD, and our media called for them to receive the therapy and other services that they needed.
A recurring issue that several soldiers described was how they kept having to detain Afghan youths apparently connected to Taliban or Al Qaida, based on tips from other rival Afghan families or clans. They would bring the boys (teens and adolescents, one described as eight years old) into the Canadian base near Kandahar, and then have to stand and supervise as they boys were interrogated and sodomized by the rival Afghan men.
Soldiers who complained were ordered to be quiet, told that this was a “cultural practice” we needed to allow.
One vivid story described how a boy (I think the eight-year-old) had a “distended sphincter” after all the repeated rapes. The soldier told how he had felt, standing there and basically facilitating this barbarity as this child was handed from man to man. He said how on one wall was a big picture of the Queen, on the opposite wall was a big Canadian flag.
A few years later I tried to find some of these stories to show skeptics the kind of missions our heroic troops had been involved in, and discovered that the CBC and other news sources had removed all these references from their websites.
Those boys and youths, the ones who survived, would be in their twenties or so now. I often wonder what they think of the Canadian flag, and Canadians in general.
And now they are being told that they must respect human rights, like we do. Sure.
Absolutely, there is a very real demonic element to sodomy (part of LBGT agenda other part may include feminism- for brainwashing /policy/”funding” purposes/”cultural” infiltrate/riba/ purposes) .
The founder of Church of Satan, U.S.A. California, Alesister Crowley, detailed how sodomy was used in practice to communicate with demonic entities – to receive “guidance” / “technical-technology” assistance (guess for what purpose.)
Hey wait a minute how come all the super super wealthy bankers running the riba spinning globe ( Ponzi Planet) are gays?
P.S. I do not hate gays, nor am I claiming all of them are Satanist, but I am claiming secrete societies practice it for precisely demonic purposes- they are open about that- they know that- no problem with it. They want “you to practice it- sneak it in , democracy at it’s best ?
Global Godlessness anyone? Soul for sale?
Wow, that is truly disturbing.
Canadian soldiers watch as their local Afghani allies sodomize young boys–all under the Canadian flag and portrait of the Queen.
Here are a collection of articles about this subject.
Afghanistan Child Abuse
https://www.ceasefire.ca/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/media-dossier-child-abuse-in-afghanistan.pdf
How could have ‘they’ protest and condemn a ‘cultural practice’ that ‘they’ consider a fundamental ‘human right’ (sodomy that is)? Actually, ‘they’ have shown sensitivity for the ‘cultural practices’ of the Afghans, the more that it was a ‘centuries-old practice’ (bacha bazi) quite frequent in Islam (but you can’t talk about that lest you are denounced as an ‘Islamophobe’). Make no mistake, we live in the Orwellian world.
Back your statement quoting (something) Quranic or Hadithic (since you said “it is frequent in Islam”).
(Precaution: do at your own risk (afterlife) )
(Or just run away – best option)
Any proof that bacha bazi is sanctioned in islam? It can be punishable by death in islam. You can’t talk about it because it isn’t legal according to islam. Don’t try to make up stories.
Let me explain logic to you:
1) Islam means (by definition) submission to God (The Creator)
2) You wrote the term “Islam” (in this post ) in writing many times
3) This means you are directly saying God said this (do do sodomy)
4) I said post something from the Quran (God’s word direct) or Hadith (warning- There is an actual hadth which states anyone who makes up a saying I (Last Prophet) never said is guaranteed Hell. By implication-If this is true for making up a lie of a Prophet it is implied that the same is true , or much worseif one does it directly of God)
5) You apparently know (4) is true because you did not quote anything.
6) I would advise you (for your benefit- I am not benefitting from this exchange) not to quote anything ( out of concern for your personal safety in the afterworld) from Quran or Hadith (given #4)
7) sorry to waste everyone’s time as I guess Anonymous knows this already and just wants to get my goat (at 5 am in the morning- which now I gotta go pray anyway.)
8) do not know if made any mistakes cuz (#7) gotta go
Afghanistan’s Love-Hate Relationship With Homosexuality
Contrary to popular perception, some Islamic cultures have a long, vibrant history of tolerance for homosexual behavior.
“In Afghanistan, especially Pashtun areas, the tradition of Bacha Bazi, which is Persian for “boy play,” is very common. It involves the use of boys for sexual pleasure by men and is very common, especially among men of power.”
https://thediplomat.com/2016/06/afghanistans-love-hate-relationship-with-homosexuality/
“Bache baazi” is not an Islamic thing.

It’s only buggery if the Pope or one of his underlings does it?
I’m sure those boys ‘”just experienced differently” to quote a certain PM.
Thanks for your essay ! You are right in all your view points !!
Americans and its poodles are speaking with forked tongues !
I do hope peace and stability will start to reign in Afghanistan !
And with the help of China and Russia I think it can be reached for a longer time !!
There is a huge distance between the obvious statement that the US has no business talking about human rights in Afghanistan, which is sadly 200% true, and this assertion: “They are competent and equipped with all modern knowledge. They understand how to manage a country and how to run a country.”
Your essay lacks hard evidence for this particular statement. If you have any, I would love to see it. I noticed the cities of the north, the non-Pashtun areas, very quickly became Taliban territory, and without violence. So either the Turkmens and others have a deal to work with the Taliban – and vice-versa, or they simply realized resistance is futile. Time will tell which it is.
Obviously the Taliban were competent at kicking out the US, and that is quite an accomplishment. But the “old” Taliban managed to kick out the Soviets, with important help from the US and Saudi Arabia. So it’s too early to make such a grandiose sttement. A hopeful future remains to be seen, and it’s not a great sign that the taliban have not, from what I’ve seen, laid out more detail than general application Sharia law – which can mean several things – and an end to corruption. The Taliban named an interim government with 28 Pashtuns and only 2 non-Pashtuns. So 40% of the nation only has 6.7% of the ministers.
I pay close attention to the signals coming from Russia, Iran and China. They are eager to help – but they are conditioning that help on what the Taliban do, not so much what they say. China provided an immediate $50 million, butt that is a drop in the bucket, just a promise of more later. It’s not clear the Taliban have control over the various local forces, or that they are know how to run the country, or that they are ready to start the learning process. After a long war, it’s a commonplace of history that reprisals happen, and of course the Western MSM want to hold a magnifying glass over these incidents.
So the world must wait and see, while hoping for the best.
Ciao Cosimo, you’re right, there’s no guarantee they’re going to rule with competence. Nonetheless, they earned the right to give it a try, legitimately.
Yes! I agree. The very fact that the USA – of all nations on earth, should take such a position is not just ludicrous, it’s insane! It’s a measure of just how far into loony-land these people have travelled.
It is true that the US invasion was horrendously terrible. But that is no standard to judge by how a liberation movement, purporting to represent all of Afghanistan, is to behave. If they do not uphold basic human rights – which specifically includes representation of all the various ethnicities, religious groups, and women’s basic rights -then there is a problem. There are hundreds of thousands of Hazara Shi’as in both Iran and Pakistan – especially in Pakistan living under deplorable conditions, unable to even travel freely because of sectarian threats. These refugees must have a right to return to their homes – and the government – i.e. Taliban has a responsibility to provide that security. Such demands for security are not coming from the dead empire – but from the people of Afghanistan themselves – and I don’t use the word “people” lightly. The numbers are very large – not just a few hundred “feminists” demonstrating in Kabul. In order to survive, and indeed represent Afghanistan – the Taliban must have the vast majority behind them – otherwise they’ll be prey to all kinds of interventions that may well make the country a source of destabilization that no one in the region is going to tolerate (well maybe Pakistan – since its ruling class is little more than a conduit for Saudis and the US).
Afghanistan for the Afghans. It is deeply immoral for one country to believe it has a monopoly on what are “human rights’ and try and impose them on another country.
“Afghanistan for the Afghans.”
what a deplorable concept! next thing you’ll be pressing Europe to belong to the Europeans!? the unbridled racism…
John is right, while your typical paranoia about “racism” is just a despicable moralist pretext, made in USA, without the slightest theoretical legitimacy. Soon a time will come when these unbearable moralists will be shut forever, by all means necessary, and sent back to the multicultural shitholes where they belong.
Sometimes, around 1945, Soviet newspaper Izvestia conducted an interview with J. V. Stalin, and the events that followed Yalta. In one of the paragraphs, that has to do with conversation he had with Roosevelt about democracy in some of the countries post WWII, Stalin said:
” I thought democracy is the rule of the people but comrade Roosevelt clearly explained to me that democracy is the rule of American people”.
Best regards, Spiral
The US is exerting pressure on the Afghan Government for respecting human rights.
The US should really try to stop being ludricous, a joke in the eyes of the world. The poor bombed-out Afghan — or Syrian, Iraqi, Libyan, Palestinian or Serb — must be laughing his head off when he read the news about US concern for human rights; not to mention the kidnapped in Gitmo (if they get news at all), Venezuelans and Cubans. Mrs Eleanor Roosevelt must be spinning in her grave.
While we’re on the subject of human rights but on a more serious note, perhaps Pakistan could put in a gentle reminder to the Taliban authorities — who understandably may not be too keen on the UDHR, it having a Judeo-Christian (strange concept, that) basis, and agreed to by a mere 48 countries (Afghanistan being one), the rest not being able to participate by virtue of their either being colonies of European powers or not yet in existence (eg PRC) at the time — about their obligations under the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights in Islam, duly endorsed by Afghanistan in 1990, in particular:
“ARTICLE 6:
(a) Woman is equal to man in human dignity, and has her own rights to enjoy as well as duties to perform, and has her own civil entity and financial independence, and the right to retain her name and lineage.
…
ARTICLE 9:
…
(b) Every human being has a right to receive both religious and worldly education from the various institutions of teaching, education and guidance, including the family, the school, the university, the media, etc., and in such an integrated and balanced manner that would develop human personality, strengthen man’s faith in Allah and promote man’s respect to and defence of both rights and obligations.

I think the Talibs can go a long way towards gaining international recognition if they adapt the principles of the CDHRI and act accordingly. At the very least many Afghans, especially the educated urbanites, can breathe easier.

This is the ‘terrorist’ you are still hunting!

Today, the White House Youtube channel forgot to switch off comments. There were over 1500 of them and at least a third expressed the same sentiment as you. You may perhaps have found it somewhat heartening. I certainly did. The dislike to like ratio was over 10 to 1. Then someone caught on. I wonder what tomorrow may bring with the little demonstration at the plantion house, the House of Whitey. The previous comment was interesting btw.
the us is gonna do itz best to establish globohomo adjacent cultures with frequent bacha bazi events a’la “desmond is amazing” along its line of influenece…and the taliban seem to b partners…
The USA’s nimbus as a military power is gone – but when will the same happen to its nimbus as a propagator of human rights and democracy, that is, of good? Since they owe this nimbus to their domination of the Western media, based on their possession of the world’s currency and Swift, it could be a while yet. I consider the USA-inspired (dictated) coverage of Covid-19 by the Western media as an accelerating factor.
If I were the Taliban, I would tell the US to go somewhere.
American gov’t reptiles are so GD stupid it boggles the mind. I used to think they thought people were stupid and wouldn’t see through their machinations. Now I realize they really are baseborn knaves that would throw their own mothers under the bus for a quarter and then open up a Crowdstrike for compensation while blabbering to the press how hurt they were.
Same with Australia. Two former penal colonies, the results of Brutain’s ethnic cleansing complete with idiot, criminal progeny. With eugenics all the rage again it does open up that congenital defect box can of worms. The sick bastards couldn’t have it any other way. One can only polish a turd so much or put lipstick on a pit bull, or Barbara Bush, and there is no real diplomatic core or State Dept. to speak of any more.
AGREE.. USA should look in the mirror…
TBH, after Saker’s very clear message (few weeks ago) that anyone who doesn’t accept what he sincerely and realistically believes in, can move, I decided to do so. The experience has not been bad, the relevance being this article on Afghanistan.
The difference I find is that, this article categorizes countries/people involved into hero and villains and ‘lectures’ on who is right and who is wrong, a perilous activity with even best of intentions.
I had not realized that I am in some ways getting indoctrinated reading article after article using the same approach at this site, till I took my sabbatical. The truth is somewhat more complicated dawned upon me once I read other authors views like M. K. BHADRAKUMAR and Thierry Meyssan ( just as examples only, I am not trying to propagate any particular person or site).
Understanding I gathered was, Its more like open season with multiple actors trying to jockey towards their own objectives this includes USA, UK gang, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Iran and host of other neighbors, some politicking others worried about security and others trying to focus on/and their economic objectives. I decided to test what am I missing after my decision to stop reading on this site and get a feeling not much. The truth is one can jump from one well into another so would appreciate some perspective from reasonably knowledgeable readership here.
