Finally I agree with you Larchmonter, you’re right on the money: this obsession with a specific ethno religious group blinds people to all the other people of every ethnicity and religion engaged in exactly the same behavior which is based on disproportional wealth and power consolidation in the hands of an incumbent class of the mentally collapsing, immoral, incompetent, venal and corrupt class of elites in each major country. Most people cannot handle or are not trained in the art of handling extreme power and wealth. Being ungrounded, such people grow up distorted, ignorant of ground realities, lacking a common point of view with the rest of their populations, entitled, narcissistic, self-centered, twisted, disconnected and unstable.
Only a few that were brought from childhood to handle extreme power tempered by humility and responsibility exist today (in ancient times these were rare enlightened monarchs who understood that their primary responsibility was to their state and people and that their privileges were only earned if they served their people and that they were willing to die in the front lines for their people.)
Perhaps I am mistaken, but I think I see a significantly different opinion about at least the initial stages of World War 2 as expressed by the Saker, as opposed to those being expressed on the website of Paul Craig Roberts. I am referring to the idea that the Nazis were obliged to attack the Soviets because the Soviet Union was preparing to attack the Nazis.
Dr. Roberts has been routinely posting in his website the chapters of the book by John Wear, who asserts that the forward positioning of Soviet troops and supplies in 1941 was evidence that the Soviets were planning a massive attack on Nazi forces. I don’t wish to make an assessment of that evaluation here; I only wish to point out that I think it is it is diametrically opposed to the views of the Saker, as well as those commonly held by contemporary Russian historians.
It is my impression that Putin has recently taken it upon himself to contest the revisionist histories of WW2 being put forth in Poland, the Baltic States, and by the EU. Putin has ordered the Russian/Soviet archives be opened up to provide documentation of the historical events before and during WW2, and I believe he intends to publish his own summary of this history in the near future. i am looking forward to reading it . . .
I thought this perhaps might be the correct place to note this divergence in assessments, since it is clear that both the Saker and Dr. Roberts hold a (well deserved) high opinion of each other.
My own take on this matter comes from my readings of the history of WW2, especially those by David Glantz; I think he would tend to side with the view that the Nazis were the aggressors, that Hitler planned Operation Barbarossa to obtain the natural resources of the Soviet Union and a corresponding “Lebensraum” for the German people.
I think this is an important historical fact, and I am curious if the Saker would be willing to address it? Hopefully this can be addressed in a scholarly manner.

Pretty good interview Saker. I particularly enjoyed your position on our shared humanity, especially as this position helped to shed light on the Jewish conspiracies which were brought up. The honesty of this point, which you raise, may help some of us to not dismiss and denigrate an entire race of humans over the evils of a select few, who happen to have great influence over far too many.
I believe that most people have it entirely wrong on President Putin’s presence at the memorial to the seige of Leningrad. The truth here is simple. The Russian people themselves shed more of their own blood than anyone on this planet to defeat the nazi reich in Germany. That is the flat out truth. The fact that the Israelis, along with their ‘fearless leader’, by the way, had no choice but to openly and publicly honor this sacrifice in the very presence of the leader of the Russian people, even though they just finished thouroghly losing a war of aggression against their neighbor (in no small part because of Russia’s stance and action to support her ally) speaks volumes.
It would be dificult to overstate the importance of this fact.

A lengthy dissertation to gloss over and excuse the fact that by attending a ceremony in Israel for dead WWII Jews, Putin legitimizes the Holocaust industry that gives Zionist Jews the lawless authority to occupy and oppress millions of Palestinians for decades. Putin should have held his own commemoration in Russia rather than lend credibility to those Zionist criminals with his presence on stolen land.
There are probably close to a million Russian Jews squatting on land they stole from Palestinians and living in Palestinian houses after they threw the Palestinian occupants, men, women and children, out on the street!
Anyone guided by moral conscience would have boycotted that ceremony of brazen Jewish and yes Russian Jew hypocrisy.
From a pure human rights perspective you are absolutely correct. However, realpolitik suggests there are other more important considerations.
By staying in far away in Israel, they are not stirring up trouble in Russia, nor demanding more “entitlements” there. Germany under Hitler encouraged Jews to emigrate to Israel and many did so, as well as the USA.
My grandfather was a “London Tory” who supported the Balfour Declaration in 1917. The hope of the UK business class was that they would emigrate and leave the UK alone as well. We know that did not work out as planned.
Then there are my friends in the US who advocate for discontinuing their financial support for the zionist regime in Tel Aviv. My response is: “Think it through, where are they going to go first if they are pushed out of the middle east.”
It seems that some people trap themselves in history, where they condemn or praise actors and actions based on their own personal feelings. Like racists or imperialists would go one way, and see the “truth” when that fits their views, and defend that as the only thing that could be correct.
My great grandfather and grandfather fought a war against the Dutch imperialists, and lost. They fled to rebuild their strength and fight again, but historically, WW2 happened, the Dutch lost to the Japanese, and when the Japanese lost the war, the Dutch came back but lost their empire anyway. My people then fought the Indonesian government, until the tsunami beat some sense into both parties. Having hundred of thousands dead would make anyone think again, maybe they are not fighting the right fight, on God’s side if God can bring that kind of disaster onto the fighters and people. Why don’t we just get along, before we get divine punishment?
That’s the difficult bit. How to choose the right fight? Being Muslim, I have a simplistic view on history and geopolitics. Who is the oppressed and who is the oppressor? This is my basis on determining everything.
The Nazis oppressed, then and now. The Germans were oppressed themselves after WW1. The Jews did some oppressing themselves, were oppressed themselves during the pogrom, and now they just went back to their default mode, oppressing again. The Soviets oppressed here and there, but not as great as the Nazis did. The Japanese oppressed China, then parts of Asia. The US oppressed the Filipinos, Japanese and China and now the world.
This view I have, is based on the truth. Figuring the truth is the hard bit. I don’t have any agenda, except the Quran, and to think, which is what the Quran says I should always do. And if I have to fight, I better choose the right side, or I end up where nobody wish to end up.
People who trap themselves in history don’t realise the moral trap they are in. Hitler did some good things, but he did a lot of bad things. What does it say about your morality, if you can defend him?
You should read Solzhenitsyn. When he tells you the names of the perpetrators he names in the Gulag Archipelago, look up their names, IF you can find them. It is a fact that Zionist bankers from New York City provided Lenin and Trotsky with 20 million dollars in gold to instigate a “revolution”. Before the “revolution” began, Lenin was in Switzerland. He lived there at whose expense ? Trotsky was in New York City, being driven around in a Rolls Royce. According to one source, before he left for Russia, he picked up 500 New York City criminals, giving them the status of Bolsheviks. He went to Russia via Canada. The Canadian Government had him arrested. He was released after Washington intervened, which says plenty.
The Russian “revolution” was just one chronological event in attempts to have Russia broken up and destroyed.
In 1812 the bankers finance Napoleon in his invasion of Russia. He fails. In 1853 they finance the Franco-British invasion of Crimea. In 1871 the bankers stand aside and permit Bismarck to unify Germany, as Germany was being set up for war against Russia because Napoleon failed in the task. When Bismarck advocated an alliance with Russia and China, the bankers use the Kaiser to have him removed from power, the most foolish mistake in German history.
In 1914 World War One begins. In 1917 the bankers finance the Russian revolution, bringing in Lenin and Trotsky, both banker controlled. The German Army moves it’s troops from the East to the West, and the US enters the war to prevent a German victory (in 1814 the Russians entered Paris, and this had to be prevented with Germany).
In 1924 Lenin dies, and Stalin takes over. Stalin was not banker controlled, and because he was not, an obscure character by the name of Adolf Hitler appears in Germany. He is banker controlled. Wall Street started investing heavily in Germany after World War One, while in 1931 the Bank of International Settlements is opened in Basel, right next to the German border.
In 1941 Hitler invades the Soviet Union (Russia). Just like Napoleon, the largest army Hitler created was the one used against Russia. He too fails. And the US, when does it enter the Second World War ? In December of 1941, when Stalin brought more than one million men from Manchuria to Moscow, and when it became apparent that Hitler would be defeated, as he was.
After the end of the Second World War, NATO takes over. Before it instigated that coup d’etat against Yanukovich in 2014, we had that war against Serbia and Montenegro (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) in 1999, where the intent was to start the encirclement of Russia. Who led the initiatives in both cases ? Zionists, their names well known (Hallbrook, Nuland, etc.) How many US military bases encircle both Russia and China ? For what purpose ?
The chief Zionist power base is in the City of London, a Rothschild’s controlled independent state and banking country. The Rothschild’s financed George Washington and the American “revolution” in 1776, repeating the same thing in France in 1789, and after that “revolutions” in 1830 and 1848 in Europe, and the Russian “revolution” in 1917. Germany could not have waged two world wars if it was not banker financed, a point historians go out of their way to have concealed. And yes, the Saker is right, the American empire is collapsing, as the bankers are using it for their globalist ambitions. The US Federal Reserve, a private bank, was created by the Rothschild’s in 1913. It still exists and functions, proof that the US is banker controlled, in effect remaining a colony, the difference being that up to 1776 the American colonies were under Royal control, while after 1776 they fell under banker control. How many wars has the US waged and for whose benefit ? What are US troops doing in Syria and Iraq ?
Finally, the question needs to be asked how many Russians perished in the 20th century and why. How many perished during the Russian “revolution” and the civil war that ensued (the Whites against the Reds). How many perished during the purges ? Why ? Did we have some ethnic cleansing here, clearing the land for the creation of a new Khazarian Empire, like the one which briefly existed in the Middle Ages before being crushed by a combined Russian/Persian military offensive ? Why so many Zionist “businessmen” in Ukraine after 2014, looking to buy land ? I think it is obvious.

Not often that I see real history truth published here. Most want to pretend that all these country’s are fighting each other, and ignore the simple fact that everything on earth is owned by the “East Indian Company”, just like 400 years ago.
The Russians can do what they want, of course, but personally I did not like Putin’s attendance at Israel’s Holocaust event. As far as I am concerned, Zionism is a fascist ideology, so there is an element of hypocrisy here, especially when the ceremony is taking place in the middle of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians for Zionist Lebensraum.
It’s not a huge matter, though; the affair was only symbolic. The Russians seem to emphasize substance over symbolism and this event won’t change much. There might be some compelling diplomatic reasons for Russia to participate in the ceremony.
The Russians may be interested in trying to promote a peace process (I hate that phrase now) between Israelis and Palestinians. A possible rational for Russian participation in the event could be to improve Russian relations with Israel with a view to promoting peace negotiations.

Most notably, it’s Western victimology hogwash prettifying Nazi Germany. And, moreover, it’s a competing anti-Soviet falsehood with regard to the ”more established” line that Stalin was being very duly warned by the British and French about an impending German attack. Stalin — for all (un)imaginable reasons as usual — deliberately ignored these warnings, and so the Red Army was caught ”totally unawares” when Nazi Germany struck.
I don’t think there is any mystery to speak of here. The USSR made giant efforts, in vain, to create a framework of collective security in Europe to address the menace of fascist lawlessness and warmongering, especially by Nazi Germany. With Western imperialism preferring Hitler to Stalin (Spanish civil war, Czechoslovakia), the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact made perfect sense to the USSR. When the Nazis launched their long since planned genocidal campaign against the Soviets, it was the aggressors who had amassed huge armies at the border. High on fascist megalomania and bloodlust, they were having initial successes.
I’m wondering though, how could be deployed almost 3 million soldiers at the Soviet border without being monitored by the soviets ? were they invisible ? Such a mass movement of troops cannot be made is silence and, if this is not enough, before the deployment, the German Arbeitdienst sent his men to modernize the old railway tracks and build new ones in Poland (but this one was hidden under the developing economical ties, signed between Molotov and Ribbentrop, at least that was the excuse).
Anyway, in my opinion it is doubtful that the Soviet leadership had no idea what is going on. Hitler was not an angel but Stalin wasn’t a saint either and let’s not forget the aggression war against Finland well before the common Soviet-German invasion of Poland. Of course, everything can be explained depending on which side one stays and taking in consideration the preparations for a wider war after emerging of new alliances. There were notably two opposing ideologies, that of Soviet communism and that of capitalism and between, as a new born baby was the national socialism of Hitler. As Hitler himself declared at the beginning that he was totally anti-communism, surely he got sympathy from the capitalist corner and even some help even though they didn’t accepted that new ideology for various reasons. Stalin wasn’t an idiot, he was a realist, therefore he offered to cooperate with the emerging new Germany on economic basis. He perfectly understood the ideological differences and he also knew that it is only a matter of time until the two will have to have a clash.
You are correct, it was impossible to hide such a massive movement of the Wehrmacht. So Hitler informed Stalin that he was moving his troops to East Prussia and Poland in order to get them out of range of British bombers, lol.
Stalin apparently believed that Germany would not attack the Soviet Union while England still remained unconquered. After the purges of the Soviet army in 1937, in which Stalin removed 3 of 5 Marshals, 13 of 15 army commanters, and 8 of 9 admirals, there weren’t exactly a lot of officers willing to argue with him about the wisdom of placing so many troops and supplies so close to the Soviet western front.

Just thinking of possible ramifications, I fully agree with The Saker that it is preposterous that Corona virus was released deliberately, as a gene-selective “biological warfare” against the Chinese.
I also fully agree with him that it is Iran’s unique highly principled position on Israel that should well be emulated by the Kremlin, in sharp contrast to its current pragmatic one.

1) WWI and WWII did not prevent the Olympics from happening;
2) Jesse Owens won a medal and was recognized worldwide (despite some frowned eyebrows and handshake refusals);

I am part way through the audio and I want to comment on the causes of WWI, Hitler’s views on the West, and the role of the British Deep State who is named by the books, “Hidden History” and “Prolonging the Agony” by Jim McGregor and Gerry Doquerty, “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” by William Shirer, and this lecture by Webster Tarpley that goes into what McGregor and Doquerty wrote about in their books. Shirer writes that Hitler wanted the “Liebenstraum”, but his big thing was to ‘Kill all the Bolsheviks’. He also wanted to restore the Holy Roman Empire and that is why he named his invasion of Russia “Operation Barbarosa”. The Austro-Hungarian Empire’s red-haired King Barbarosa, was his model for restoring the Holy Roman Empire. He didn’t want to invade Britain because he admired them and the “Windsor’s” were not the Windsors, they were descended from the Saxe-Cobergs of Bavaria so they were half German, and now are on the verge of the collapse of the Monarchy. He sent a few Peace feeler’s but received no response. This also explains the defection of Hess who was supposed to meet one of the British Lords and end the bombing so Hitler could invade Russia.
Hitler thought of an amphibious assault on Britian but his Navy was nowhere near what he would need for a land invasion so his only choice was bombing. Macgregor and Doquerty emphasize Drang Nac Osten pushed on the Germans for reasons related to a Treaty with Poland and that explains Chamberlain’s “capitulation” which was in the Deep State’s plan for Germany they eventually stoped bombing so they did Barbarosa. If Kevin would I can send him a paper I wrote when I applied for a History Masters at UF which was rejected twice. The whole thing goes back to Cecil Rhodes’ Secret Wills and his plan for a World Government run by ‘the English-speaking peoples”, now AKA ‘The Five Eyes’. That plan is now dead as a door nail because of the China-Russia Double Helix in which Iran is a Silent Partner. That 3-country Geostrategic Alliance was Mackinder’s “Nightmare Scenario” which he knew would kill Rhodes’ pipe-dream.
Shirer describes a macabre scene somewhere in the Ukraine of some guy, while eating his lunch mows down around 30 Jews at a time in multiple times, eating in between the clearing of the bodies and another row being lined up. This is the mind-set of the Ukro-Nazis most of which are West of the Dniper. East of the Dniper is “Little Russia”, now , Novorussia/Donnetsk/Luhansk resisting the Coup of the Ukronazis, who are mostly Poles, because they are and always have been large majority Russians. In addition Jeff Rense has shown clearly from an analysis of the logistics the Holocaust was impossible.
On top of all this, Nostradamus’ predictions of all the Popes ends in 2021 based on the average duration of the reign of popes, so the end of the Papacy may be near.
