There was this one British “journalist” who tried to use emotional line of questioning. Lavrov just told her that she was starting to sound like a talk-show host.
Every western MSM journalists were asking questions that reek with their narrative. Like the tone, the wordings used. They cannot seem to ask a proper question i.e. a question that really seeks to find true answers, but their line of questions only seems to attempt to reinforce their own narrative.
This of course will create an echo chamber in their heads and in their heads, where no truth – or any element that goes against their “logic” – can penetrate.

I see it as the opposite. Russian has always said they are ready for diplomacy and prefer it to war. He was merely saying that they are willing to talk and find a peaceful solution. That seems to be the Russian way. Sounds like he is saying that the door is still open to talk.

To offer talks is in no way a sign of weakness but of someone who cares about human lives, someone who will always place discussing an issue over fighting it out with bare hands.

The purpose of the Russian invasion of Ukraine was to ultimately destroy the US dollar and I think the invasion and the sanctions, particularly regarding SWIFT and sanctioning the Russian central bank were coordinated between Russia and the United States ahead of time.
I’ve come to this conclusion by thinking back to the Putin/Xi joint statement made at the beginning of February. Significant parts of the statement sounded just like the World Economic Forum. I thought Klaus Schwab might have had a hand in preparing the joint statement. So much of it echoed the agenda coming from the WEF, where key corporate members and banks from around the world agree on the plan for the planet.
So if the leaders of both East and West countries attend and agree on an agenda of ideas and actions, so why are the United States and Russia pretending to have different goals?
One ongoing goal of the WEF and, for sure, the Bank of International Settlements is to destroy the US dollar. This is essential for bring in the Central Bank Digital Currency. With this vehicle the Central Banks will ride in on a white horse and save the world’s economy after they destroy it. Destroy it they must because currently all the central banks are bankrupt, but that’s an entirely separate issue.
On the surface denying Russia access to SWIFT is a feel good response for the “patriots” of the West and sanctioning their central bank is icing on the cake. With minimal thought, the stupidity of the action becomes apparent unless of course it meets a larger agenda.
Deny Russia access to SWIFT has minimal effect on Russia. First of all, Russia has little debt, and not quite but nearly all the natural resources any country would want. Also, the Ruble is not the foundation of foreign exchange, so there is very little available for currency attack. But the immediate stupidity is that now Russia has no way of paying $30 billiion in debt to foreign banks. Further is has no way of paying for products and services already provided to them by various vendors. So, the immediate impact is bankruptcies and unemployment in Europe. That’s the immediate purpose: the bankruptcy and impoverishment of ordinary people, just as the purpose of the lockdowns was to bankrupt and impoverish the population, which was successfully accomplished.
The bigger issue is that Russia can stop natural gas supplies and other resources exports to Europe and sell them to Asia and the rest of the Global South. But even that is just one of the immediate idiocies associated with sanctions.
The biggie is the rest of the world now knows that they too can be cut off from SWIFT without much notice. So if I’m sitting in the Global South, I’m saying to myself, “Gee, if I stay with Swift I need dollars to trade, but doesn’t Russia and China have their own system?” Well, by golly they do, and no one needs dollars to trade on the Russian or Chinese system. So, the world somewhat quickly will begin abandoning the dollar. Why use the US dollar system, when a country can trade directly in the their own currency?
So why would the US intentionally abandon the dollar by imposing self destructive sanctions?
The short answer is that just like everyone attending the WEF, the national leadership doesn’t care about their country. And just like everyone else attending the WEF, they care about only two things; acquiring all the wealth of the world for themselves and controlling or killing off the world’s people.
So, the invasion and the US response is Kabuki theatre. Yes, thousands of people will die, but this is a necessary process to create a realistic distraction so that everybody can rally around their flags.
The banks need a catalyst to create the necessary financial collapse.

The Russians know this and with regard to Kiev, as I understand it, they are leaving an escape corridor open and encouraging anyone who wants to leave to do so.
All former SSSR cities have many well-made underground shelters where many ukrainians, even in cities in the center that are without any risk, are sitting it out already.
Some family members of ours amongst them. Last week they volunteered to clean the shelters and prepare them. Those who seek shelter won’t become casualties of crossfire.

Back in day of Soviet Union there were very powerful radio stations broadcasting from many States. These States’ traffic were a mix of truth, half-truth, and deception. Generally these installations have been abandoned and/or scrapped. However now might be a good time for some States to place orders for new designs and equipment. Two words that I haven’t yet heard anyone on the Russian side say and they really need to: cassus belli. The entire 8-year campaign of terror by Ukraine in the Donbass is exactly that, a just cause for war.
